POTTERY CLASS

Gojo Satarou x Fem!reader

Warnings: Reader has piercings and Tattos( minor detail), Fluff, Teacher!Nanami, Sukuna, Toji, Gojo, Choso, Geto, and Nanami all friends in this universe, cursing, I never took a pottery class a day in my life, so bare with me.

Your friend walked through the door with a flyer in their hand, “ We’re going.”

“ Hold on, going where?”, You asked, putting down your paint brush.

“ Take a look at this, this is a pottery class. Someone named Nanami Kento is teaching it. I don’t know how he looks but he sounds fine and that’s why I want to go. Plus, I want you and I to try something new.”, Your friend says handing you the flyer.

You looked at it and saw beautiful colorful designs and letters on it, “ Whoever printed this, did a magnificent job.”

“ That’s not what you’re supposed to be focusing on da Vinci, now focus on the place.”, They say as you look for the place.

You gasped, “ That place is expensive as fuck to rent out or even buy. Wow! It’s big inside too.”

“ Then let’s go today in 45 minutes, since the class starts at 4:50, it’s now 4:05. So get your ass in the shower and put on some nice clothes so we can experience the feeling of pottery.”. They say, practically jumping up and down.

“ Wait, why does it say there’s food, drinks, and smoking allowed and catered to us. Is this a fucking party?”, You asked before your friend snatched the paper from you.

“ Gimme that, no, it’s not a party. It’s a get together plus an opening. So come on.”, They say, grabbing your hand and dragging you up.

You stomped your feet in annoyance before shrugging your friend off and walking upstairs alone.

You cleaned yourself up good, wearing your favorite clothes with your favorite shoes.

Your tattoos were showing all down your arms due to your friend picking out the shirt for you. It was the sleeveless shirt they brought you.

You didn’t mind because your tattoos were the official icing while your snake and nose piercing was the cherry for you.

“ Let’s go, we're already a minute late, wait let me get a jacket. It looks cold today.”, You say before grabbing your jacket, walking out your house.

“ This might be an embarrassing experience because we both don’t know what we’re supposed to be doing when it comes to pottery, but I want you to have fun and enjoy yourself, maybe even discover a new passion.”, They said, smiling over at you as you pulled out of the parking space.

You laughed while keeping your eyes on the road, “ You’re acting like my mother and Grandmother! I’ll be fine, you enjoy yourself too.”

“ Hey, she told me to say that, so blame her!”, They laugh at your annoyed expression once they told the truth.

“ She’s so embarrassing.”, You mumbled.

Your friend laughed, “ That’s not even the embarrassing part, while you were in the shower, she told me to tell you to hopefully find a man and give her some grandbabies. She ain’t getting any younger.”

You sighed loudly as you pulled into the parking lot of the place, “ That woman is always going to pressure me to have her some grandbabies when she has three other sons and four other daughters, who are all old enough to produce babies.”

“ Maybe she just wants the best for you while also getting the best side out of it. The grand baby she always wanted.”, Your friend says, getting out of the car.

You slammed your car door in annoyance, “ She needs to wait until I’m ready. I’m in my 20s, this is the age for me, not me and a child that can wait until my late thirties.”

“ Late thirties?! That damn old.”, Your friend says loudly.

Some people in the parking lot looked your way at their loud Burst.

“ Shut the hell up, and yes that old. I need to be financially and mentally stable for a child. I refuse to be like my dad. He should be diagnosed with delusion because that’s what he loves to do.”, You say almost bitterly remembering your last conversation with him just two days ago.

“ Can you get diagnosed with that?”, Your friend mumbled in confusion while you ignored their stupid question.

You both walked into the building showing the receptionist the flyer, paying 20 dollars each to get in, before she let you two past. You were surprised it was that easy as you both got on the elevator to go to the 99th floor.

“ This is a long ass elevator ride, damn!”, Your friend says while looking out of the elevator at people and equipment.

“ Yeah, no shit dumbass. It’s the 99th floor. Luckily we’re now on the 17th floor because no one has been getting on.”, You say as you were now on the 18th floor.

The doors opened on the 18th floor to reveal a group of men walking in.

You and your friend looked at each other before getting on your phones to avoid conversation.

“ Gojo, don’t fucking ruin Nanami’s big opening day by trying to get laid while taking this class.”, The man with a bun on top of his head with one string hanging down in the front.

You looked straight ahead as the one with white hair started talking, “ Hey, you shouldn’t be talking and besides I’m not going to ruin his day. He specifically made me vow with my hand on the table to not mess up his day.”

“ Yeah, I would’ve too if I was him. Your dumbass don’t know how to keep it in your fucking pants.”, A man with a deep sultry voice and short black hair said.

“ Shut the fuck up, Toji, because you are the main whore of this group.”, A man with two space buns in his hair.

All you could see were the back of their heads, so you were in the clear.

“ Look at this shit.”, Your friend whispered while showing you their phone.

You looked over and saw your associate/ neighbor with your ex dancing and kissing on each other, all over social media. I mean, she was practically someone known across social media platforms due to her elegant body in front of a camera.

“ Yeah, now what am I supposed to do with this information? His ass is a goner anyway.”, You whispered.

You both didn’t realize that the men's voices were heard and their eyes were now on you two.

“ You right but it’s still shocking since he said you didn’t need to worry about her, but let’s not focus on that anymore, I apologize for that.”, Your friend says, causing you to smile at them.

“ It’s fine.”, You say before looking to the floor level only to find pairs of green, brown, blue, and dark brown eyes looking at you.

“ Uh, can I help you all?”, You ask.

“ Hi, I’m Toji Fushiguro. What’s your pretty girl?”, Toji says, take your hand in his and kiss it.

Gojo and Geto sighed while Choso did the same to your friend's hand.

“ I’m y/n, nice to meet you.”, You shook his hand and just as you’re about to drop it, he held on and brought it to his lips.

“ Nice to meet you too, y/n.”, Toji says before Gojo snatched his hand out of yours.

Gojo tilted his glasses with a huge hand and smiled at you, “ I’m Satoru Gojo, you can call me Gojo. We’re going to be great friends.”

You were honestly confused because who the hell was he to declare being your friend.

You took your left hand out of his before you heard a deep somber voice, “ I’m Geto, which stop are you ladies getting off of you don’t mind me asking?”

You turned to him and smiled, “ Why stalker?”

You were joking with him and from the looks of it, he caught on.

“ Maybe I should stalk a pretty girl like you but then again who does that when I can just talk with you instead.”, Geto says, licking his lips, showing a glimpse of his tongue ring.

You laughed, “ We’re going to the 99th floor, which means we’re about to get off now.”

“ Great, we’re getting off at that stop too.”, The guy with space buns says in a slow rhythmic voice. You almost melted by every last one of their voices.

“ I’m Choso by the way, it’s nice to meet gorgeous faces every once in a while.”, Choso says, making your friend smile widely while you gave him a cheeky smile before turning to the other three men, who were staring you down.

The elevator dinged and everyone filed out one by one.

They let you two pass and watched you both walk away.

“ She’s mine by the end of the night.”, Toji says, referring to you.

“ She’s not an object Toji and don’t you have a wife?”, Geto says.

Gojo laughed, “ I don’t know why you mentioned that when he’s cheating on her with multiple other women. He’s a dog.”

“ Shut the fuck up and let’s go before we have to the old man mouth and did any of you inform Sukuna dumb ass what today is?”, Toji asks while they were walking to the door where Nanami’s event was.

They still can’t believe that he managed to buy this entire building.

“ His dumbass said he’s going to be late, by late it means he isn’t coming until the end.”, Choso says, aggravated by the thought of Sukuna. He and Sukuna never got along just on certain occasions.

“ Yeah, but hold on. I just noticed that out of all the people , Toji called Nanami an old man, when he’s ancient compared to all of us. Tell you about the ancients.”, Gojo says, making geto and Choso laugh.

“ Shut the fuck up Gojo, damn! Talk too much!”, Toji semi-yells in irritation. Toji hates being called old because in his eyes, he still has it even if he has a teenage son and daughter now.

Meanwhile in the studio….

“ Y/F/N, don’t you think this may be out of our league even if it took 20 dollars to get in. I mean, what if we make a fool out of ourselves.”, You say looking around the big spacious room with a view to correspond with it.

“ It’s pottery, not no damn wipe-out. What’s the worst that can happen? Now sit down.”, Your friend said before they dragged you down on a seat beside them.

You grabbed your apron off the table your other supplies were at as Nanami walked in waving at the crowd.

It was too small and it wasn’t a giant crowd. It wasn’t a perfect size either, well not to you. You hated crowds.

“ Hello, everyone. You can call me Nanami or Kento . Welcome to Kento Crafts. I want to thank you all for coming to support me. I greatly and highly appreciate this. Please remember to have fun and enjoy yourselves with doing things you love. And for those who haven’t done pottery, You got this. I believe in you. Thank you all again and let’s get started.”, Nanami says before putting on his apron.

“ He's a sexy one.”, Your friend says, making your eyes widen.

“ Y/f/n! He’s the instructor, show some respect.”, You whispered, almost making them burst into laughter.

You two didn’t even notice the 4 men behind you eyeing you two in curiosity.

They were fascinated by you two.

“ Alright, are we all ready? You’re all going to turn on the pottery wheel and put the clay into the opening here. Are you all following along?”, Kento boomed throughout the room.

You smiled before pouring clay into the machine first and then turning it on meanwhile your friend was already trying to put her hands into the moving clay.

“ Hey, it’s not time for that yet. Pay attention.”, You whispered.

Nanami smiled once he saw you two talking before clearing his throat loudly making the room fall silent, “ Are you ladies done or do you want to take my job from me?”

Your eyes widened in bewilderment before you tried to form a sentence but nothing came out.

“ We’re sorry Mr.Nanami, please continue.”, Your friend spoke for you.

The entire time she was speaking his eyes never fell from you. He was mesmerized by the way your shyness illuminated you. It was refreshing to see, really.

“ Alright, now let’s continue. Now, when you shape your sculpture or art, you have to be careful or you’re going to fumble it completely. Gojo! Pay attention and stop staring at the woman in front of you.”, Kento yelled, annoyed with Gojo

Gojo smiled widely, “ Kento! Don’t be like that, can’t you see that she’s beautiful and besides I know how to do it already. You taught us a million times, didn’t he Geto?”

“ If by a million you mean 1 time, yes, yes he did.”, Geto says, making you laugh until you realize you were in front of Gojo.

“ Just be quiet and let me teach my class in peace. Please excuse my friend, he’s a bit troubling.”, Kento says before going back to teaching.

You felt eyes on the back of your head, several eyes really and started to feel your palms sweat.

Was there something in your hair? Did it mess up? Is your lace showing in the back?

“ Alright, did you all watch how I did that? Now I want you to sculpt your own piece. Bring your imagination to life through clay.”, Kento says before walking over to a person who had a question.

He really didn’t have a question because the whole time Nanami was speaking, he was ogling. You honestly couldn’t blame him.

Your clay started to build up, which meant it was time to sculpt.

You put your hand in on it to sculpt your vase and it completely went left because it was now clumped up making you frustrated as you try to fix it.

“ How the hell did you mess up that quickly and you just started?”, Your friend says, laughing at you trying to fix it.

“ I don’t know but help me!”, You whispered in a loud tone.

Gojo leaned forward and whispered in your ear, “ May I?”

“ Huh?”, You asked stupidly.

Gojo laughed, “ Here let me help you. You are panicking, I can see it in your body language. It’s quite funny, if I’m being honest.”

“ How is this funny?”, You asked him as he pulled a stool up to get behind you.

“ You twitching and turning your body is funny to me. Now may I?”, Gojo says, wrapping his arms around you.

You nodded as he laid his chin on your shoulder before taking your hands into his long hands.

“ Let me show you how to do it, princess. By the way, you smell so amazing.”, Gojo says.

You tried to hide your smile from him muttering a quick “ thank you”, but he caught on and smirked.

His hand was on top of yours guiding you to make your vase. Your fingers dance over the clay making a long cylinder out of the clay. You smiled at the result and Gojo smiled at you smiling because you were so pretty, beautiful to him.

“ Now, here comes the part you’ll mess up if you don’t curve right.”, Gojo says, lacing his finger inside of your hand on the outside making you choke on your saliva.

“ I’m sorry, do you have to hold my hand like this?”, You asked him.

His chuckles sent vibrations on your back, “ It’s the point of the entire thing called “guidance in pottery”. We can stop if you want?”

You shook your head no, “ No, it’s fine keep going.”

Gojo smiled before moving your hand to make the curve of your vase.

You went over that curve about 3 times before you made a cyclometer shape again.

“ You got someone in your life already?”, Gojo asked suddenly.

You turned to him before turning back to your art, “ Um, if I say yes, what’s going to happen?”

“ Nothing, you don’t want to happen.”, Gojo replied quickly.

You sighed before speaking again, “ No.”

“ No what?”, Gojo says slowly into your ear with a deep voice. His voice made you want to melt into a puddle of sex.

“ I’m single. Isn’t that what you’re asking me?”, You asked.

Gojo laughed, “ Yes, that’s exactly what I was doing, wait, there we go, you almost messed it up princess.”

You chuckled nervously before focusing again. “ Let's say If it comes out the way that you want completely, you repay me by going on a date with me, only if you want to.”

“ What happens if I say no?”, You asked cautiously.

You felt Gojo shrug, “ Then it’ll be a No. I wouldn’t pressure you to go on a date with me.”

You sighed before looking over at your friend who nudged you and nodded her head.

You thought about how long since you haven’t been on the scene. It has been 6 months since you haven’t been dating someone. Oh what the hell, why not?

“ Fine, we’ll get to know each other a lot better than just bonding over clay.”, You say. Gojo smiled, “ Great, we’ll talk more but right now, do this.”

He took your hand and bright it inside of the vase before taking the other hand and creating patterns along the vase.

“ That’s it, good girl.”, Gojo says once he sees the outcome of your vase lines. They were perfect.

You coughed hoping that’ll get rid of the heat in between your legs. Knowing damn well it can’t.

You both were covered in beige clay, just on the arms.

“ You say you did this only one time?”, You asked him. Gojo smirked, “ Yes, he showed me 1 month ago, it was pretty easy for me since I’m good at everything I do.”

“ Cocky much?”, You ask.

“ No, just confident.”, Gojo said before you looked at him only to find him staring down at you. His eyes were so blue and Crystal like, it honestly scared you a little.

“ Scared?”, Gojo says, moving your left hand up and down your vase.

“ No, just amazed. It looks like you got a layer underneath your eye, it’s cool.”, You say smiling at him.

To everyone else, you two looked like a couple taking this class together.

“ Okay, Gojo. I’m sure she knows how to do it now.”, Toji says in annoyance.

Geto held in a laugh as he saw Toji squint his eyes at Gojo. He was obviously mad Gojo got to you first.

“ Gotta go make my own vase, you keep doing what I taught you. Use your fingers to go inside of it and move them slowly inside while you stroke the outside to create more limes and from that, you just shape it and decorate it how you want to, when it dries of course.”, Gojo says while wiping his hands clean with the towel and soap on the side of your pottery wheel.

You looked away and nodded before he took a pencil and paper from the empty seat next to you and wrote his number down, placing it on the side of you.

“ Call me when you want to talk and I’ll let you know when I will take you out on the date.”. Gojo says before picking up the stool and setting it back to his area.

Gojo sat down and got a smile from Geto, a mean mug from Toji, and got ignored by Choso who was too focused on his vase.

Your friend gave you a look, the look you knew too well.

You looked away and did as you were told until the doors bust opened, hitting the wall with a loud bang.

“ I’m here, Ladies and gentlemen.”, A man with tattoos all over his arms and on his face says.

He was honestly scary looking, but he was captivating at the same time.

“ Sukuna, sit down, matter of fact, keep standing because the class is over in 3 minutes.”, Nanami said in a monotone.

You guessed that the pink-haired guy always showed up late.

“ Don’t be like that Nanami, I was just doing what people do to release stress, you should take my lesson and apply it to yourself old man.”, Sukuna says, strolling to Kento, messing up his hair.

Sukuna walked back with women and men staring at him like he was the last piece of cake.

“ Hey, you peasants are here. When did you make it?”, Sukuna says before turning his focus to you.

“ We’ve been here, dumbass and stop being so damn loud.��, Space-buns whispered.

“ As for the rest of you, you can all turn off your machines and clean yourselves off. It’s been a pleasure to spend time and get to know you all. I hope to see you all in the next class.”, Kento said in an authoritative but calm voice. A dangerous combination with a man.

You touched up your vase for the last time before turning off the machine and cleaned your hands.

“ Who’s the gorgeous ladies in front of you dicks?”, Sukuna said loudly, making your friend laugh while you tried not to laugh at his way of being quiet.

“ Don’t speak to them, you know how you ge-”, Gojo says before he realized sukuna was already in front of him when you were walking to the bathroom to wash your hands.

“ Hey, hey, hey, where are you going? I wanted to introduce myself to you and your friend here.”, Sukuna says with a wicked smile on his face.

Your friend wasn’t having it and walked around him occasionally stopping, waiting for you. You were about to walk around but every step you took, Sukuna took with you.

You were getting pretty annoyed but kept a little calm, “ Excuse me.”

Sukuna wasn’t about to move until he saw five men giving him their famous death glares behind your head. He smiled before putting his hands up, backing off, “ The name’s Sukuna princess. You too, beautiful.” He was referring to your friend, who gave him a tight smile before pulling you along.

You walked off with your friend while Sukuna faced five men who were tired of him already.

“ What?! She was fine as hell and I’m sure you all know it. I was just trying to get her number.”, Sukuna says

“ Yeah, well, she wasn’t interested and neither was her friend. Now where the hell have you been?”, Nanami says before pushing up his glasses with two long fingers.

“ I was fucking some chick in the bathroom, damn!”, Sukuna shouted. The five men were used to his ass being dramatic, so it didn’t faze them when he threw his arms up.

“ You were in the bathroom fucking when you should’ve been here. This is what I constantly talk about, I’m not inviting you to nothing els-”, Nanami said before he saw you come into view, your friend not too short after.

“ Thank you for the class today, we had fun.”, Your friend says as you nodded while taking off your apron.

You put back on your jacket before turning to find the men already gawking at you.

“ See you all next class.”, You say before walking off.

You suddenly stopped and turned to the men, holding up the sticky note smiling before walking off.

Gojo was internally screaming and on the outside he was red as hell. Everyone was shocked because he never blushed like that.

“ If she’s got you all like this, I’ll definitely be in the next class. When is it again?”, Sukuna asked after analyzing everyone’s faces while watching you walk away with your friend.

“ Not telling you.”, Nanami says before walking off.

Geto snickered while watching sukuna chase after Nanami yelling, “ Oh come on! Why?! She’s pretty, the friend is pretty. It’s really a win- win.”

“ The answer is no.”, Nanami said.

Everyone helped Nanami clean up except for Gojo, who was staring at an empty doorway.

“ Hope you call, y/n.”, Gojo whispers with a smile on his face.

“ Gojo, fucking help! Why is your dumbass just sitting right there, you dumb-fuck!”, Toji yelled, making everyone else laugh.

“ You can tell he’s mad at Gojo over the sweet lovely, y/n.”, Geto says, chuckling.

“ Shut your mouth you gremlin motherfucker.”, Toji says, making everyone laugh again.

The old man was losing his shit and everyone was enjoying it.

While fighting over a time machine so one twin can win a pig or the other can win the heart of a girl, Mabel is left stranded in a snowy forest with no time machine and no brother. Oops.

Ford was way more nervous than he was letting on.

She had long, pretty brown hair, braces over her teeth, sneakers, a skirt, and a sweater that allowed the cold air to pass through it. Her cheeks were slightly chubby with youth and nosy, as well as her nose, due to the freezing weather. Her eyes matched her hair perfectly, and though they were clouded with fear and confusion, Ford swore he could see sparkling behind the clouds, sparkling that made itself well-known when she asked if she could make him a sweater or when she saw his hands.

Ford would be lying if he said he didn’t enjoy Mabel’s company, but she was practically a stranger, and keeping a random girl in his house that was located in the middle of the woods was fishy and Ford couldn’t help but feel like it was illegal. But he couldn’t leave her out in the snow and send her on her way to find her home and family, so he decided to keep her warm or healthy, simply because it was the right thing to do.

But then she said she had no parents to call. Only a brother, who was lost, too. Ford can remember the old rule: If you’re lost, stay where you are until you are found. So he then decided that she could stay here until her brother found her, which should be by morning at the latest.

Still, he felt uneasy, so once Mabel was settled in front of the TV, Ford excused himself and went into the kitchen to make a phone call. There was only one man who would have better judgement in this situation than him.

The phone rang a few times. Ford checked his watch to make sure it was a reasonable time to call. It wasn’t Sunday, was it? But then the ringing stopped. “Howdy! This here Fiddleford McGucket.”

“Hey there, buddy.” Ford smiled to himself at hearing that cheerful voice. “How have you been?”

“Stanford Pines! Good t’hear from ya!” Fiddleford cheered. “M’just fine, just fine! How are ya?! Ya haven’t gotten eaten by monsters yet, have ya?” He laughed, making his old friend chuckle along.

“No no, I’m alright.” Ford almost brought up the reason he called, but then he remembered something very important to Fiddleford. “How are Emma-May and Tater?”

“OH! They’re doin’ great! We’re all very happy n’ doin’ well! Ya won’t believe how big Tate’s gotten since ya last saw him! He’s already crawlin’!”

“Wow, that's great to hear.” Ford sat in a chair at the kitchen table. “Has he said his first words yet?”

“No, not quite. Actually, he’s extremely quiet. Not a lot of baby-babble.” Fiddleford chuckled. “The doctor says that’s perfectly normal. Tate’s so smart, he’s reachin’ for specific colors n’ such, n’ ya can tell he’s thinkin’ a lot n’ knows what’s goin’ on, he just got nothin’ t’say.”

“I was very shy when I was young.” Ford commented casually. He didn't feel like mentioning why. “If Tate is anything like either of his parents he’s very intelligent.”

“Oh, he’s so much like both of us it’s scary. Ya know Emma-May, so clever n’ quiet n’ such. Tate’s got all that. But he already looks so much like me! But he’s got his mama’s hair! N’ Santy Claus brought ‘im this fun little fishin’ game where ya fish for plastic fish with a pole with a magnet on it, n’ he loves it! I can’t wait to take ‘im fishin’ when he’s big enough! Ya really outta give yourself a break n’ come down for a visit, he’d move to see his Uncle Ford again.”

Ford’s face felt hot. “Perhaps. Spring is when a lot of anomalies are active and breeding, so i would prefer not to miss that, but maybe I could visit for a weekend before that…”

“Well, no pressure, I won’t assume anythang until ya tell me to, just know there’s always a bed for ya here.”

“Thank you, Fiddleford. The same for you and your family. The clean air will do everyone some good.”

“Oh, I’m sure.” Fiddleford sighed happily and perked up. “So! Whatcha callin’ for? Not that I’m not happy just t’chat, but ya never call.”

Ford laughed and shrugged to himself. “I suppose I don’t. I’m sorry.”

“No need t’be sorry, Stanford, just wanna know what’s up.”

“Well, I was hoping to get your advice on something.”

“Shoot.”

“Um… well…” Ford rubbed the back of his neck, unsure how to tell him this. “I heard some unusual sounds outside today…”

“What kind of unusual sounds?”

“Cracks, like lightning. And some faint yelling.” Ford answered. “I thought it might be a tree branch or a new anomaly to catalogue, but when I opened the door a young girl was standing there in the snow with no coat.”

“Heavens! Is she alright?!”

“She’s okay, no frostbite. She was cold, but after sitting by the fire, drinking some hot chocolate, and changing into some dry clothes, she’s okay now.”

“Well, good.”

“So of course I brought her in. I tried to call her parents, she probably got lost playing…”

“Sure.”

“... but she says she doesn’t have any parents.”

“Oh.” Fiddleford sighed. “Oh. Now, wait, are ya sure she didn’t just say that so ya wouldn’t call?”

Ford chuckled and said, “I first thought that too, but she looked too sad to be lying.”

“Okay, I see. Does she got somebody ya can call?”

“Nonsense, buddy, you’re doin’ great.” Fiddleford assured. “Look here, ya can’t just leave a young gurl out in the snow t’try t’find her way home...”

“I agree.”

“... so ya really got one option n’ that’s t’keep an eye on her n’ let her in as a guest. N’ ya tried t’call, but nothin’. The best thang ya can do right now is be there for this lil’lady n’ just be kind t’her. N’ if nobody comes for her by mornin’, why don’t ya go into town n’ see if anybody knows her, then they can help y’all out.”

Ford nodded, then remembered that his best friend couldn’t see it, so he said, “Yeah, that sounds like a good plan. Thank you, Fiddleford.”

“You’re welcome. N’ hey, are ya okay?” He asked seriously.

“Yes, yes I’m okay. I just want to make sure I do this right.”

“O’course. I understand. Ya want me t’come down there n’ give a hand?”

“No, that’s not necessary. I’m sure Mabel will find her brother in the morning.”

“Mabel, huh? Well, if y’all don’t, please call me. N’ even if ya do find her brother, call me. Keep me updated.”

“I will. Thank you, Fiddleford.”

“Anytime, Stanford.”

When Mr. Ford gave Mabel the remote for the old TV and went into the kitchen, she decided to use her awesome detective skills to figure out what year it was. If it was before Grunkle Stan lived here and opened the Mystery Shack, she must be pretty far back in time. But she had no way of knowing if it was 1999 or 2005 or the 50s.

The TV was old, but so was Grunkle Stan’s in her time. So Mr. Ford could have had this TV for a long time and didn’t want to replace it.

Okay, so when was the TV made? Mabel didn’t know. Dipper would have known.

Okay, Grunkle Stan mentioned watching TV when he was a kid once or twice. So at least Mabel was when Stan was a kid, okay.

Mabel turned the TV on and it was in color. Okay, so she wasn’t too far back in time. But the TV was playing a commercial for clear skin. The picture was gritty and all the people in it had puffy hair and long socks and oh my god was that woman wearing legwarmers?! Mabel grinned at seeing her favorite fashion on TV, but then her face dropped. When was she?

She tapped her chin and tried to think of how to know the date without being suspicious. She could ask Mr. Ford, but that might be suspicious. Mabel decided to start flicking through channels to try to guess what year she was in based on what was airing. A lot of shows were about cowboys, space, or game shows. Huh. Okay.

All the TV shows were definitely older. Nothing her dad would watch from when he was a kid, so if Mabel had to guess by everyone’s crazy air, the cheesy TV shows, and the music occasionally playing, she was in the 70s.

Huh. Okay. But she needed an exact year. So Mabel turned off the TV, saw an old radio on a desk, and turned it on to listen.

“... cuz it’s cold doesn’t mean you can't boogie, folks! So grab someone you wanna get warm with, turn up the music, and get your bodies warm in the coolest way possible! Here’s Night Fever, by the Bee Gees!”

Mabel grinned at the disco music. Her personal favorite song from these guys was More Than a Woman, but Night Fever would do. For a moment Mabel forgot her mission, jumped off the couch and left the blanket behind, and in the over-sized gray t-shirt Mr. Ford gave her while her clothes were drying, she danced along to the music, singing the chorus since those were the only words she knew.

“When you reach out for me. Yeah, and the feelin' is right,

Then I get night fever, night fever. We know how to do it! Gimme that night fever, night fever. We know how to show it!”

Mabel laughed at herself as she spun around in her socks and tried to do the point-and-hype dance she didn’t know the name to, but everyone did it when a disco song played.

Little did she know that Ford had returned to check on her, and was smiling at her as she shook her hips and waved her hair around and had fun. He leaned against the doorway and planned to let her dance in peace, but when she did a spin and saw him, she grinned and took his hand. “C’mon, Mr. Ford, come dance with me!”

Ford chuckled and shook his head. “No, no! I can’t dance!”

“You got two legs that aren’t broken?”

“Yes.”

“Then you can dance! C’mon!” Mabel encouraged, let him go when they were both in the middle of the room, and she started to dance again. “Don’t make me dance alone!” She even pulled an evil move and gave him puppy eyes. Rude.

Ford smiled slyly at her and hesitantly copied her boogie moves. It was true that Ford never liked to dance, but there was no one around but Mabel, and though he had only known her for an hour or more, he was sure she would never make fun of him.

And he was right.

“Wow! Look at you, Mr. I-Can’t-Dance! Yeah!” Mabel hopped on the couch, standing, and took Ford’s hand. “Here, I’ll spin you!”

Ford laughed and allowed it, doing a single spin, but then scooping her in his arms to dip her and then let her down, making her laugh as they continued to dance.

“Alright alright, you crazy cats, that was Night Fever by the Bee Gees! It's a snowy day here in the heart of Oregon, with snow flurries coming in harder all night, but it should clear up by morning and be a fun day to go out and play! The date is January 26th, 1978 in case you gotta write a check or mail a thank you note to a friend or family member. I’m still writing letters for Christmas! We’ll be right back with some of your favorites after a word or two from our sponsors, so don’t go anywhere!”

Mabel stared at the radio. “Wow, 1978.” She breathed. Her parents were only kids right now, maybe only six or seven-years-old. Wow.

Ford chuckled. “I know, I’m still in the bad habit of writing ‘77.”

Mabel realized her mistake, but was grateful her host misunderstood her. “Me too.”

“Well, I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for dinner. How about some ramen noodles?”

“Yes, please! Can we play a game after we eat?”

“Sure. I don’t have many board games, but I do have a deck of cards.”

“Do you know any card tricks?!”

“A few.” Ford admitted, wiggling his fingers. “There are some advantages to having more fingers than average.”

Mabel grinned up at him and followed him to the kitchen for dinner.

Daily Blog #15: August 22, 2021

Dollar Tree is honestly pretty fucking awesome 👌👌👌

I set my alarm for like 6:25 this morning, but it took 6 minutes for the "Horsin' Around" theme song instrumental to wake me up. I was pretty tired lol. I just dismissed it and went back to sleep.

I only went back to sleep because I knew I had another alarm set for 7:00. That got me up.

I should mention that this was still in the RV over an hour away from the house.

After I got up, I went to go get a shower, and did so successfully.

Unfortunately, I had forgotten my brush this time and had to do it afterwards after my hair had a bit of time to dry, which did make it a little more difficult lol.

I got dressed and grabbed my stuff, putting it into my car.

I made it a point to see and say "see you later" to my grandparents before I left for the flea market.

My dad insisted that I stayed to say goodbye to my mom, so I left.

I did NOT have cell service up there, as was mentioned in my previous 2 blogs of which I could only post today, so finding my way was a tiny bit difficult until I got some service to ask Google to take me to "...".

It worked and I got there.

On my drive, I listened to 1 by Simple Kid, a CD I had previously purchased at a Dollar Tree location.

I got a call from the guy at the flea market saying that I had some people there waiting for me. He asked how far away I was, to which I said "about 10 minutes." Ironically, that call made me miss my exit, as Google couldn't talk during the call, and added about 3 minutes to my arrival time lmao.

I did sell the Xbox that he said someone was interested in. I got $40 for it. I spent 27¢ on it. Pretty good return if you ask me.

I couldn't sell it with anything other than a power cord because the controller and AV cables I had been using to play it there were for my personal console. I'm just glad I can actually hook my Xbox up and stop having to drag them to the flea market along with a small library of games.

Not too long after I sold the Xbox, someone came in and asked if I wanted to see some electronics he had in his car. I went out with him. It was a pair of 3ft speakers and a Pioneer audio system with dual cassette decks (although neither of them works) and a 25 Disc CD-changer, as well as the standard AM/FM tuner. Additionally, there was a Fisher amplifier and AM/FM tuner as well as a Fisher Direct Drive turntable. He said he wanted $60 for em, but before that he casually, and probably accidentally, dropped that he was just gonna take em to the thrift store.

Big mistake.

I got em for $35 lmao. THERE GOES MOST OF MY PROFIT.

Oh well.

I tested everything. As I mentioned, the cassette decks don't work, but everything else does apart from the turntable needing a new stylus.

I posted some new photos of the shop to Facebook, and someone soon DMed me about a stereo system.

I priced everything, and it turns out I have about $300 worth of equipment from that deal, the Fisher amp and tuner being worth about $150.

The buyer will hopefully show up next weekend, for he wants to buy the Fisher stuff ($185 with the turntable), the 3ft speakers, an 8-track deck, and a Kenwood deck we've had for a week or two.

The speakers are listed for $50 (and are worth around $100-150), the Kenwood Deck for $50 as well, and the 8-track for $35. That makes it about $320 in equipment. Since he's buying so much, I'll knock it down to $270 and essentially give him the speakers or cassette deck for free lol.

Apart from that stuff, not much happened at the flea market. I sold some records, cassettes, CDs and I think 2 DVDs. One person bought a VHS tape? That money was the other guy's though. Oh well xD.

I can't say that I didn't miss my wonderful partner while on the trip. I actually brought along the stuffed animal they gave me (who's name is Greg) and snuggled with him both nights.

I was very happy to hear from them UwU.

They let me rant and I let them rant.

I honestly give them too much responsibility over me xD. I'm like, "Okay, I'm gonna do this. HOLD ME TO IT."

I know I can't hold myself to anything I personally say (this blog being the only exception apparently), but I listen to them pretty well I think 🤔. If they tell me, "No, you don't need that VCR," so long as it's not some weird specialty thing, like a worldwide VCR 🥵, I'll be like "Yeah, you rite bro."

I love you man xD. You control my craziness pretty well. I'm so thankful for you UwU.

So part way through the flea market day, I went over to Dollar Tree to buy some snack, but ended up looking through the CDs to see if there was anything good. I took photos of about 18 CDs and flipped through them online for the remainder of the flea market day.

I deleted the photos of the ones I didn't want and kept those that I liked. Surprisingly, I ended up buying 13 CDs there, but not before dropping them on the floor like the dumbass I am.

Also, sorry for all the nerd shit I spilled on your lap earlier. No one cares about amps and tuners xD.

I'M LISTENING TO ONE OF THE DOLLAR TREE CDS RIGHT NOW THO.

I already transferred over to my online library on iBroadcast and put the disc into my CD changer, which is now holding 164 CDs.

Its max capacity is 300 discs 🥵

I get really excited over some electronics. Like. REALLY excited.

Some editing VCRs are like "Holy shit that is SEXY. Look at those goddamn VU meters 🥵. And hhhh there are like 7 inputs on this thing and individual controls for left and right audio gain, not to mention Hi-Fi S-VHS recording. Hhhhhhhhhhh please gimme 😭. Why are you so expensive?"

I uh, mean, uh, *cough* look, pretty lights.

Oh yeah, I was gonna say the album I was listening to xD. MAN I GOT SIDETRACKED.

It's 37 Everywhere by Punchline. Def give it a listen; it's pretty heccin good.

Another notable album I picked up was Page One by Steven Page. I very much like the first track, "A New Shore." It's quite catchy and he has a great voice imo.

Also at dollar tree, I bought a regular bag of Fieras and 2 bags of Fieras Sticks, which were marked down to 75¢/bag because they're expiring soon.

I honestly like the generic Dollar Tree version of Takis more than actual Takis. They're a lot more flavorful when it comes to the lime, but also hotter at the same time.

Don't get the hot nacho ones tho. Hot nacho? More like hot pile of shit.

I got home and started working on putting the CDs onto my computer, and then onto iBroadcast, but not without first adding The Music Man to my digital library, something I had neglected for a month or two. The CD had just been sitting there lol.

I also switched my digital file for "The Black Parade" to that of the uncensored CD, which I had purchased before I event started working over 2 months ago.

MAN I'M LAZY

I eventually get around to shit tho lol. I guess it's just a matter of priority.

What usually takes priority is digging through everything to find something that I forgot about but then remembered, making a mess in the process that I would then have to clean up, at least partially.

I think the album just ended. I've been writing for a while xD. I'ma start "I Made You Something" by The Island of the Misfit Toys.

I'll tell you where that album came from in a minute.

In the meantime, where was I?

I kinda lost my train of thought despite reading up to see where I was. Oh well. On I go.

I ate dinner and kept working on those CDs, eventually putting my clothes from the week into the washer.

I FORGOT TO PUT MY SHAPING UNDERWEAR IN. FUCKING HELL MAN.

I wanted to wash em for this week 😭

Meanwhile, the box of my CD album cases is overflowing. I need another box.

I keep all of the album artworks in a big CD folder. That's almost full.

I wanna fill my entire CD changer. That's one of my big goals in life. Idk why, but I just wanna legitimately fill the entire thing.

My clothes are in the dryer now. I don't think I have the time (or energy) to fold them tonight. I'll leave that for tomorrow morning before work.

And God. Fucking. Damnit. I start school again on Wednesday. NOT looking forward to that, and neither are my 2 coworkers. We already have low enough staff, but only the two of them working is gonna be a pain in the ass.

I'll still work Saturdays.

I need to contact my guidance counselor to get out of the gym class I signed up for. I scheduled this shit before I found out I was trans, and I don't wanna deal with the fucking locker room situation 🙄 I have far more important matters.

Okay so anyway, the album I'm listening to came from a cassette. I bought this cassette a few months ago at the flea market along with a few others. The reason I bought them? They were all newer cassette releases from the 2010's, and they're all actually pretty good music from very indie bands.

Currently getting mad at iBroadcast's compression algorithm. It's unnaturally fucking anything over -10db up. Oh well, there's not really anything I can do about it.

I have like 13GB of music on my phone btw. That's about 3.5k songs on 268 albums.

I'm kind of an audiophile, but I'm too cheap to pay for a lossless service. Oh well.

They do actually have a lossless service on iBroadcast, but once again, too cheap.

Someone just sent me a friend request who legitimately posted that BLM and the democratic party are hate groups.

BLOCK.

I don't get that. They call the democratic party a hate group when they hate people like me, and I, being more of a democrat although not fully because the 2-party system is fucked, think nothing more of them than they're very wrong about certain things, especially, as shown, that black people, as well as asian, Indian, native, and people of all ethnicities and backgrounds, are not equal to white people.

Anyway, yeah, I can, and do, convert music and video from analog formats to digital files in order for me to archive and listen to whenever and wherever I please. I've actually made a bit of a business out of it, but I don't get too much work from it. At least I'm not overloading myself xD.

I honestly have so much more to say, but I should probably go to sleep soon.

how did you get your biggest scar?: gross story, but I got stung by a wasp on my knee and I didn't know I was allergic to wasps so the spot got infected. The infection nearly got to my joint, and they were thinking to amputation of my knee but instead they opened the spot and I got like 3cm deep hole on my knee where came out all kinds of crap. Now I have a nice scar there reminding me that it's okay to call in sick sometimes 😊

One of my best friends @ahufflepuffhobbit tagged me in this long list of things to help us get to know each other, and I’m just so glad to learn more things about her! So I’m going to tag @the-angry-pixie, @s-s-georgie, and @purebloodqueen (and anyone else who wants to join in!) with no pressure to these three to actually complete this! It’s long.

1. Do you prefer writing with a black pen or blue pen? I’m a pen snob. I prefer black G2 pens, but I’ll also write with blue or make notes with red on paper copies of reports and things (just so I can feel like a professional at some point in my life). I don’t mind the colors so much as I mind the pen. G2 only for my personal life (bic when I know the pens will be stolen).

2. Would you prefer to live in the country or city? I lived in Boston for 4 years, and I liked some parts of it. Now I live in a smaller city outside of Boston (around 100k people) and I love it here, but the art scene and the queer spaces are ample and I really like my job.

3. If you could learn a new skill what would it be? Outside of becoming a better writer, I really want to learn how to cook better and do better food presentations so I can make a “food blog” and become famous for learning how to cook better and teaching people how to cook better.

4. Do you drink your tea/coffee with sugar? Yes, I just do a regular regular (2 cream, 2 sugar) for coffee, but for tea I prefer honey.

5. What was your favourite book as a child? Under 5, I read The Cay with my dad and loved it. Under 8, I read Goodnight, Mr. Tom, a book about a child evacuee from London which got me started on my WWII history obsession. Under 10, I became obsessed with The Outsiders (which is still my favorite book to this day). Under 13, The Only Alien on the Planet. Under 15, Harry Potter (unfortunately, the author has ruined the series for me). Under 18, I fell in love with this book about a young teen dad, and I’ve never been able to find the book again.

6. Do you prefer baths or showers? I’m totally a baths person, but no tubs are quite the right fit, so when I’m rich and famous I’m getting myself a soaker tub and I will live in that damn thing (I have dreams that my grandmother had a soaker tub--which she did--that she never used--which she didn’t--but I would sneak into her house to use her soaker tub--which unfortunately never happened. Can you tell how stressed I am by nature? I just need a soaker tub with a bath bomb and like 4 hours to myself).

7. If you could be a mythical creature, which one would it be? Hmm... I just want to be your average garden variety hedge witch.

8. Paper or electronic books? Either/or. I suck at reading these days. I just don’t have the attention span. Give me a book and I’ll probably only read half regardless of electronic or paper. (#badwriter, #readmore)

9. What is your favourite item of clothing? I quite like capri leggings. They’re my typical go-to wardrobe choice.

10. Do you like your name or would you like to change it? I don’t feel like Jessica really fits me that much anymore, but I’m comfortable with Jess.

11. Who is a mentor to you? I would classify one of my college professors, but she just “unfriended” me on facebook because of differing viewpoints (neither are wrong, but her view of what I was saying wasn’t accurate). So I might be in the market for a new mentor.

12. Would you like to be famous and if so, what for? Sure, in some regards, I suppose. A part of me has always wanted to be “famous” but really I’d just take my 15 minute spotlight and be happy with that. I’d really like to be on one of those cooking competition shows (only a nice British TV one, not an American one), or I’d like to have fans on youtube and have a really cool youtube channel, or I’d like to be a writer with some really good books published... or even just a child development theorist. Whatever. Gimme my 15 minutes!

13. Are you a restless sleeper? Relatively, yes. I’m up to pee, to toss and turn, with nightmares. I’m someone who talks in their sleep and who thinks that their dreams are happening in the waking world--so I respond verbally to things dream characters say.

14. Do you consider yourself a romantic person? I think I’m a romantic at heart, but I have few people to express that side with.

15. Which element best represents you? My sign is water, but I’m definitely more fire.

16. Who do you want to be closer to? I don’t really have anyone that I’m afraid of being close to, but I wouldn’t mind having a datemate. Find me someone to fit that role, please.

17. Do you miss someone at the moment? I think a part of me will always miss my brother, and I’m close to my mother but prefer that we have a bit of space between us (we’re too similar). I think there’s this thing where you miss things you’ve never had, because I totally miss feeling part of a close knit friend group.

18. Tell us about an early childhood memory. I played alone as a kid a lot, and in my backyard we had a swing set that I would play on a lot. There were horses in the field beside the back yard, and a donkey in the field behind it and in the woods on the other side of the house were a bunch of feral cats. I remember swinging on the swings and hearing something make a god awful sound that I had never heard before (and it sounded really close to me) and I remember panicking and running straight for the house. My dad told his version of the story; he looked out and saw me, eyes wide as saucers, pale as a sheet, running in as fast as my little legs could carry me.

Admittedly, this is also the house where I’m pretty sure I saw aliens peeking in my bedroom window, so was it supernatural or just an animal? I’ll never know.

19. What is the strangest thing you have eaten? I’m down to eat almost anything; I ate a baby octopus once, and didn’t really like it. It was too spicy and too chewy.

20. What are you most thankful for? The job I have; I feel incredibly supportive by my supervisor and incredibly thankful to have such wonderful families I get to support every day.

21. Do you like spicy food? I used to... and then I became too white.

22. Have you ever met someone famous? I once spoke on the phone with Hal Sparks (a friend was at a comedy show of his and called me in the middle of the night so he could say hello to me). I’ve also brushed past a few other people while in New York City or in Florida, but nothing super memorable.

23. Do you do you keep a diary or journal? I try to, but then I forget for a year and then I write a page that’s like “well this has happened in the last year.” and I do that every year I keep the physical journal. Sometimes I do write down tarot interpretations and things like that as they pertain to my life at the time.

24. Do you prefer to use a pen or a pencil? Mostly pens. Occasionally pencils, but mostly pens.

25. What is your star sign? Cancer

26. Do you like your cereal soggy or crunchy? Ew. Crunchy. Who eats soggy cereal?

27. What would you want your legacy to be? I want to be able to continue supporting families even after I’ve gone... through a foundation or through a child developmental theory book... we’ll see.

28. Do you like reading, what was the last book you read? I enjoy reading, but I’m pretty sure I have an undiagnosed case of ADHD, and I’ve been chasing the high of going into hyperfocus ever since I was a child--I haven’t stayed up all night reading since my teens and I miss that.

29. How do you show someone you love them? I’m very much a words of affirmation sort of person, and a quality time person. Gimme a day out with a friend or someone I care about and I’ll compliment who they are as a person about 800 times, and if you give me a task to do, I’ll love you forever.

30. Do you like ice in your drinks? Yeah, I’m an ice cruncher.... I know it’s bad, but it’s so good.

31. What are you afraid of? I don’t have a lot of fears, but I think fear that my mom would pass unexpectedly is a big one. I don’t know how I’d get through life without her support and guidance. I also fear panic attacks (not the triggers themselves, but the panic attacks that I have every now and again).

32. What is your favourite scent? I have this incense called Opium that I love... I also love the smell right as it starts to rain, the ocean, sometimes sunny days have a really nice smell too...

33. Do you address older people by their name or surname? I don’t typically say people’s names, but if I have to address someone, I’ll usually say, “Ma’am or sir” until they tell me to call them by their first names.

34. If money was not a factor, how would you live your life? I mean, honestly, I’d still be doing the same thing, but I’d be considering buying my own house and having a kid... two of the things I really want but can not afford right now.

35. Do you prefer swimming in pools or the ocean? I prefer to be in the water at the ocean as compared to a pool (the chlorine kills me), but if I’m going to swim I prefer to do that in a pool... because I don’t trust myself to swim in the ocean--I don’t have enough experience to be a confident ocean swimmer even though I’m a fairly good swimmer in general.

36. What would you do if you found £50 on the ground? Look around to see if anyone has lost it, but then pocket it. Maybe I’d hand it off to a homeless person or someone who looks in need, but that’s me being optimistic that I’d do that.

37. Have you ever seen a shooting star? Yeah, I drove through the Pleiades meteor shower one year, and saw about 15 shooting stars in 10 minutes. I also stood on top of Mount Lee in Hollywood (where the hollywood sign sits) and saw a shooting star there. Once I was up in Maine and laying in the grass with some friends and saw a shooting star there too... you just have to be in a place that’s dark enough, and it’s likely you’ll see some flaming space trash crash into the earth.

38. What is the one thing you would want to teach your children? I would like to have children to teach them, but I’m worried that won’t happen because $$ and society suck. But I really try to teach the children that I love in my life how to be a good, kind, person, and how to treat others with respect. I try to teach consent early and often. I try to teach loving yourself as you are and how you are, and that who you are is deserving of love, no matter what happens in your life. I try to teach them that they are not perfect (no one is), but that you can amend your actions and make reparations to the people you have harmed with your actions, and that even though you have made a mistake as long as you are taking steps to correct your mistake you are a good person and always worthy of love.

39. If you had to have a tattoo, what would it be and where would you get it? I already have them, but I would like more. But again... $$.

40. What can you hear now? The roomba just turned on. It’s definitely time for bed.

41. Where do you feel the safest? In my room, in my home.

42. What is the one thing you want to overcome/conquer? Feeling unworthy of love.

43. Of you could travel back to any era, what would it be? I’m not really interested anymore in going back into previous times... the past was only idealistic to white people, and people of color have had a shitty time in every era so I’m good. Take me to a time when racism is done and then we’ll talk.

44. What is your most used emoji? the crying laughing cat face

45. Describe yourself using one word. Intense.

46. What do you regret the most? I don’t know that I have a lot of regrets. I regret when people misinterpret what I mean when I say something that wasn’t explained well. I regret individuals who have exited my life that have chosen to do so of their own volition. But they aren’t things that I had a lot of control over, so I don’t regret them very much.

47. Last movie you saw? Hamilton. I quite appreciated being able to see it finally.

48. Last tv show you watched? I watch a lot of paranormal tv... just because it’s something to put on... actually I fall asleep to a lot of paranormal tv. If I were to see a ghost, I probably wouldn’t react that much because I just sleep through the weird shit they do on tv, so... what up ghost?

49. Invent a word and it’s meaning. I don’t tend to invent words... I do like putting words together in new ways though and telling different stories. Maybe I’ll do that sometime.

It’s a wood one, so. light wood colored.

2. A food you never eat?

I won’t eat tuna but that’s because it’s the most severe of the white fish allergy, but most stuff i can eat if i have to?

3. Are you typically too warm or too cold?

If it is below 60F my hands and toes will be cold, bc bad circulation, but otherwise I’ll be good until it gets in the 30s. If it is above 80F I will be miserably hot XD

4. What were you doing 45 minutes ago?

I was saying bye to a friend of my dad who was dropping off some food she’d baked!

5. What is your favorite candy bar?

is it chocolate? I will eat it. gimme ALL OF THEM (okay most of them.)

Have I? I honestly may not have. lol

I have already forgotten but it was... something to my mom? we were talking about some stuff about the protests and where I’m watching stuff about it

Few things surpass Moose Tracks, and I love a lil mint chop chip. Lots of kinds of ice cream are good, though.

I was at my cousin’s house in wisconsin, we had kind of finished a water gun fight and I was telling a story and walked right off their pier into the water. I split a bit under my arm on the way down. Gave my aunt a REAL big scare XD

I dunno if making a kind of angry facebook post (about how the absolutely garbage response of CHI authorities is emblematic of the WHOLE PROBLEM PEOPLE ARE PROTESTING ABOUT) that people appreciated counts, but I did do that. I also pulled some weeds and made friends with a robin, which various people appreciated.
