I've just returned to life, a few hours ago.
My armor and clothes are ruined by slashes, acid... bites. I've certainly added a few more scars to my collection today. I feel tired, but I cannot allow myself to rest yet. Once Zinnya and I are left alone in our tavern room, we discuss about her learning of the Resurrection ritual; but once we conclude that it's going to have to be something split in more study sessions, she's immediately off to take care of her business instead.
"It's our last hours in Outsea and I really want to study more of the runes that Genive has on her body. She says she was just born with them and doesn't seem to have any knowledge of magic or about their use, isn't that fascinating?" But I also know that the witch is also pretty interested in the person. Since the moment we met the owner of the Advisory of Outsea, I saw that spark in her eyes, somewhat similar to the one she had when she befriended Blinking Miri of the Iron School of Magic in Deadbridge. Furthermore, they were also sharing memories about the surface, weren't they?
Genive is a mermaid, so she has no normal means to visit it herself if not by surfacing for a little and observing from afar. I understand her wish, even if my interest still calls me even further above... It's very nice that she met someone like Zinnya. I'm sure they will spend a nice day.
"Oh! Lia, I was almost forgetting - don't wait for me for dinner or for sleeping! I may be late, I have some company to look for!"
Oh. I blush to her wink. I know very well what she means, I think I already heard her talk about wanting to find someone from below at some point... I'm not going to investigate that any further, nod and wave goodbye.

Once I'm alone, I have a few things to take care of. First of all, my priority. I immediately grab the Missive Stone and whisper into it without thinking twice about my message this time, hoping for a quick answer. I feel my chest exploding, but I almost risked not to be able to tell, or to hear a response... I cannot waste this extra time I have left, no matter what!
...but the response I'm hoping for doesn't come. I remain still, waiting. A few more minutes. At first, wondering if he's busy; after, wondering if it was too much. I can't give myself an explaination until I manage to realize that I'm not going to hear anything back. My shoulders drop... but I had to expect it, didn't I? I knew it was... difficult, since the moment we started opening up to each other a little.
The relationship between me and Echo was born in the middle of slow, cold strife for the both of us. He's part elf, almost 400 years old, and with around 200 of them spent away from his home and escaping someone who probably wants him dead. I'm involved in something so much bigger than me, risking my life and my soul with each passing day; even if he saved me once already, it clearly wasn't enough. He must have known it the very moment when his Status spell on me dropped - the link we had, which allowed him to know where I am and my condition at any time, unless we don't find each other on the same plane of existence anymore. My death severed it. I fear it may have severed something else too...
Is it for the best? Is it better than having me in his life - a meteor, compared to what awaits him? The voices of the brothers keep echoing in my head: I represent pain and loss for everyone around me, to those that know me and those I haven't even met yet. I came back to make sure I can also do good for them - balance the negativity, override it if I can. But can I, really...?
I smile sadly to myself as I lower the magic trinket. A few more minutes of silence pass, then I store the stone back in its pocket. At that point, Lumen starts swimming around me and stops in front of my face. Right; we're emotionally connected, it knows exactly how I'm feeling. I lightly pat its cap; I know I'm not alone. I'm blessed not to be. I shall not forget, this is the other side of the coin I gathered from the other side, and I must not ignore the good in all of this. Now that would be disrespectful, wouldn't it?
I offer the arm to my familiar as I usually do, and it sits on my black scar as usual. I gather my things and get ready, then I'm also out of the room. I have quite some things to do.

I have a bad movie/book idea - A woman disguises herself as a man Mulan Style and joins the Roman legions. She has to hide this secret from her fellow soldiers and her contubernales and her 9 tent mates... who are all also women disguised as men. None of them are aware of each other's identities, they're all just very anxious if the others are suspecting them.
I know I'm onto something here!
Bonus: The Centurion in charge is fully aware but thinks it's funny and admires their skill and camaraderie on the battlefield and pretends not to know at all.

Fact: In the alternate universe after the events of The Wreck-It-Ralph Theory, and before the events of Friday Night Funkin' Sugar Rush Madness; both Genivive and Serial Designation G (aka Glitch) are true business partners, until one day some corrupt/jealous businessworkers decided to get rid of both of them by bio-fusing both of them into one abomination to kill not only Genivive herself, but deactivating and dismantling Glitch too first before they can kill her off to bio-fuse her before banishing her and her creations, then they cover-up their classified crimes and the whole entire evidence without any witnesses.
Fact Trivia (Update): Ultra G is an amalgamation fusion of not only Genivive and Glitch themselves but all of the characters including; Rambo (Rancis varient of Omega), IHY Taffyta, Toy Springtrap (From the "Five Nights at Sugar Rush" series from DeviantArt), King Virtual (Mr. Virtual version of King Kandy from Hasbro's classic game; Candy Land), Coronation Day Crumbilina, Abandoned Adorabeezle, GV (GB varient of Vanellope), JB-BX (MX varient of Jubileena Bing-Bing), Horror Wanda & Lollipup.EXE, Ms. L (Mr. L version of Lolli Muttonfudge), DJ Snowannaboo, Secret History Vanellope, Vanellope Von Murder (Retake), Beta Candle (Known as Beta Candlehead), Mrs. XOR, Shelley, King Willy Apparition, & Minturmoil Sakura which can explain the mimicked voices behind the voices itself.
• Ultra G is most likely just Horror Vanellope (or Insane Vanellope which is originally based off from) fused with the other characters because they all belong to her, comparing the way she morphs to "how gems from Steven Universe do so."
• None of the other Sugar Rush characters in the fusion die, but they're still slaves to Vanellope Von Schweetz herself.
• It is not known if the Sugar Rush characters not present in All-Stars (Sugar Rush Mix) are also part of Ultra G, but it's most likely that they are.

this wasn’t just “oh he messed with her for an hour and let her go”
It’s the dead of night when she gets to the castle
and the sun is already over the horizon by the time it ends
Meaning he was chasing her through the entire castle for hours on end, tormenting her for who knows how long, cuz he shut and (possibly) locked the doors so she couldnt escape
he already missed the chance to do what he was originally going to do because he spent the entire night with her, it was already sunrise and I doubt Duke would go outside at sunrise so he already missed what he was supposed to do before she killed him---
at the very least, missi kicked him out when there was still plenty of night left to go since he was able to go sleep with Genivive and find a place for when the sun came up.
