welcome to afterdarkfm !! we are so excited to get this group out in the tags and begin our spooky fun. we're a brand new supernatural group set in las vegas, nd, with a twinge of crime plot influences, we focus on four different supernatural creatures all existing in the great sin city together.
we're open for apps and reservations! feel free to ask any questions you might have, i'll be around for the next few hours then admin simran will be taking over for the rest of the night.

summary: this roleplay follows a group of people who have logged into a videogame called deep dive, set in the fictional world of emberfort, and are unable to log out of the game, making it their new reality. together they must try to complete the different levels of the game in order to have any hope of returning to their real lives. the roleplay will be accompanied by various plot drops that will allow players to discover the different floors and progress through the game. the rp begins one month after the game’s release, when the players have settled into their new lives.

Hexmore, home to the supernatural high society. The witches of the Old World founded Hexmore. With glittering balls and moonlit seances, Hexmore was the destination if you were a witch looking to learn the arts – or a vampire looking for a little fun. With this in mind, the glamorous town doubled in size in just a few years, eventually becoming the epicentre of supernatural activity in the state of Illinois.
Many families have lived in Hexmore for generations, while others have used the town for more of a getaway, a home away from the stresses of city life. With theatres, ballrooms and casinos, Hexmore was the town that never seemed to sleep. But don’t be blinded by the lights, in Hexmore danger has always lurked around every corner.
Hexmorehq is a 21+ supernatural roleplay based on a small town in the USA. The supernatural has been living in Hexmore for centuries, but that hasn’t been without its danger. Every four years, a series of disappearances occur, causing the supernatural beings of the town to distrust each other.

I was thinking of a character and what ideas do you guys have for a human to get involved in the supernatural?
I have a few ideas for this!
Human who works in the sanctum researching the supernatural and the arcane. Although having no powers themselves, they are obsessed with the supernatural world and do everything they can to study it. is this a super villain origin story? maybe.
A human who is a paranormal investigator, blogger and online personality thinks that all of the older places in Hexmore are haunted. And they're about to bite off more than they can chew!
A human doctor who found out about the supernatural after a nasty emergency came into their hospital, they now dedicate their career to helping supernatural beings.
A human from a family of supernatural (either witches or werewolves), their powers never came through.
A human working in the local Caruso Casino, their time at the casino means they've been privy to supernatural dealings and they've seen things that normal humans can only dream of.
A human dealing in supernatural goods, trading magical items (and/or supernatural substances). It's not exactly legal and they operate from the Underbridge.
A human who's grown up in Hexmore and has always been obsessed with the locations that are hidden in Hexmore. They've always heard local stories and are determined to find out if they are true or not.

Description:
As the crisp Scottish winter settles over the town of Thistlefield, the community eagerly anticipates the Frost festival— This new initiative is funded by the local council as part of the 'new faces retention programme'. Starting on 19th of January this festival fills those dark January evenings and gives the people of the town something to look forward to.
Event Highlights:
ThistleFrost Market:
Local vendors set up stalls offering a variety of handmade crafts, artisanal goods, and delicious treats. It's an opportunity for the townspeople to support local businesses and discover hidden talents within their community. Don't forget to try to the Gluhwein!
Thistletunes trail:
A musical journey through the heart of Thistlefield, blending the vibrant energy of live bands with the cozy ambiance of local pubs. Participants embark on an adventure where each pub along the trail hosts a different band, offering a diverse range of musical genres.
Winter Wonderland Photo Booth:
A specially designed photo booth captures the spirit of Thistlefield's Winter Gala. Residents can take memorable snapshots with friends and family against a backdrop of twinkling lights, snowflakes, and festive decorations.
The Thistlefield tapestry:
A collaborative art project invites everyone to contribute to a large canvas that celebrates the new beginning of Thistlefield. With the art started by local primary school children, the people of Thistlefield are now invited to add their handprint to the canvas and sign their name. This will later be displayed on the town square.
Bites and Winter delights:
Food stalls offer a selection of traditional Scottish dishes, warming beverages, and winter treats. It's a perfect opportunity for locals to come together.
Thistlepaws play den! :
A dedicated area provides entertainment and activities for children, including face painting, storytelling, and a visit from a friendly local wildcat mascot 'Thistle Paws',
Shopping by Twilight:
Local businesses are invited to open late, sell their goods or host their own festivities during the event. Maybe even stop by and feed the horses that are being kept warm at the Thistlewood stables.
