When I was in the ER because of a ptsd episode or whatever they wanted a sample for a pregnancy test and I was like no I am not pregnant, literally no chance, please don’t waste time running the rest just get me out of here and the doctor was mad at me she straight up snapped that they have to because if they gave me medicine it could hurt the baby if I was pregnant and it didn’t matter what I said because I couldn’t actually be sure, when I said I was gay and never had straight sex she was like well then just do it anyway. Turns out, when I got my discharge papers, they tested me for drugs and not pregnancy as far as I could tell. Thanks guys, least helpful hospital visit of my entire life

#it’s the one where they put me in a. corner almost naked for four hours while two guys in the same room were yelling (desperately)#separately*#then they made me tell them all of the worst things that happened to me and why I’m so distressed and then said well we can’t talk about it #but you can go to inpatient right now or php this week :) like why the fuck did I come here if that’s all you do #i needed emergency therapy/to be talked down from my spiral but I was too crazy to try to think of anything else bc I was desperate for help #and then did two weeks of PHP where some guy called me and the other women in our group libtards for being triggered by the Kavanaugh trial

(there are obviously a whole host of things that infuriate me abt the dobbs decision but i will say, it's right up there that alito and kavanaugh don't actually understand the implications of their own logic

pulling the privacy string absolutely affects all the other things tied with that string, and it's absurd to the point of being offensive that they not only implied but explicitly affirmed the contrary)

I dunno gang, I just think that if the republican platform is “if everyone voted then we would never hold office again” and it’s mostly the conservative Christian republicans who are hoarding power and reducing rights in our government then

Maybe spreading “burn it down! No more voting! No more!” Isn’t the way to go. It sounds like they’ve told us their weakness and instead of pouring votes into Democratic positions to AT LEAST even the tilt before moving on to more progressive grassroots parties would be better to do.
