i love splatoon ok! i've tried to recreate a few different splatoon characters before but they don't really translate well to sims. however i love how my harmony turned out! she's my fav character in the game and i'm quite proud of this funky little edit :)

bojack horseman is my fav show ever. when i saw the horse pack trailer i KNEW i had to make this silly joke :p i didn't expect it to get so much attention but i'm glad it did! fun facts: 1) i painted bojack's face in game but basically redid the whole thing in photoshop bc sims textures are uh bad. 2) i recolored pc's dress and god i wish i could've made something better lmao. 3) i converted mr. pb's glasses and i SUFFERED. they actually look terrible ingame but ✨photoshop magic✨

PHIGHTING HAEYAJI...?

ㅤ due to my recent addiction to the game phighting! when my friend made ocs for them, i ended up making a character. then i played the game. needless to say, it's pretty fun, even though it's a mix of the splatoon games and valorant. at least i have something to play to let off steam post-exams!! /jj
ㅤ anyways, i thought of assigning phighters to the entirety of svt, but... i didn't really want to leave this one unfinished. 2024, i am a changed bitch. and i'm kinder to myself- so we're starting with BSS for now!! (but before anything else, i'm basing these off the phighters i've played ingame and my experience against/as them.) now without further ado, let's get into it. PHIGHTING- i mean, FIGHTING HAEYAJI

BOO SEUNGKWAN would be... ROCKET! (and theoretically, SUBSPACE!)
he would be so fucking happy to start shooting shit tbh /JJJ rocket is a ranged phighter who... well, shoots shit! this phighter carries around a big ol' bazooka-looking weapon, and is good for crowd control. like seriously. i've died so many times to rocket mains. but you're super fucked when you have to get away from the opposing team, bc rocket is canonically squishy!! kwannie, upon first playing rocket, forgets that he isn't melee and goes right into the battle. during the intermission, he checks the ability descriptions and has an "oh shit" moment. THEN he gets a strat, which is staying still and shooting from afar. only ever uses his phinisher/ult when under pressure i think... but thank god it looks cool!!
aabdeawhe but the thought of him playing subspace though, i think would be rlly silly. like, iirc subspace's phinisher is some vortex void thing that sucks in other players (idk if the user is immune). he'd absolutely ENJOY using that fucking thing, but will go back to rocket bc he claims that he can't see what subspace is even doing whenever he does any of his abilities.
LEE SEOKMIN would be... BIOGRAFT and BAN HAMMER!
i hate biograft and ban hammer mains all the same. i keep dying to them because i'm a loser and i suck! /j but i think seokminnie would love playing them. biograft is a double-wielder and is fairly fast! you'd get easy kills if you play this phighter correctly/long enough, minnie probably does accidental kill steals whenever playing biograft... (i'd literally hate to go against him, im not afraid to start saying "i hate biograft")
meanwhile, ban hammer has this absurdly giant hammer (lmao) and swings that bitch around. bad for when you're trying to move around while fighting, but at least he hits hard! probably played this one first before playing biograft, because woah! big hammer! heavy tank! more time on the frontlines AND damage-dealing! (i hate banhammer mains but i'd let him kill me if it made him happy)
KWON SOONYOUNG would be... MELEE PHIGHTERS and MEDKIT!
literally struggled to settle on one melee phighter, but i figured that he'd sometimes shuffle through all of them. like either before a match or mid-match (yes you can do that), he changes depending on what looks cooler, or what would be more convenient/easy/advantageous. i think his more used one would be skateboard tho, solely because you can probably also do actual skateboard tricks. if he and dokyeom are on the same team, he accidentally steals ban hammer /hj. he's silly like that!!
medkit is a bit of a special case though. probably plays during the rare moments where he goes against woozi. yeah, he'd play the game as well and mains medkit, bc uji on his own is already "i may be a healer, but..."!! he's p good at it. hoshi, on the other hand, only goes for medkit solely bc he reminds him OF uji. like,,, the exhausted look? the slight affectionate jabs towards his team? the subtle warnings that's just confirmation that he gives a shit? ujicore.

hi! Thought I should make this since it's pretty essential to most blogs.
I'm Thespian, although I go by Mirika on other parts of the internet. I'm an Ao3 author, writing for Genshin Impact, and occasionally dabbles in crossovers with other fandoms with my friend Zhelday there. I live in Australia, so if I take a few hours longer than usual to respond, that'll be why. If I complain about the god-awful heat in December, that's also why.

Peices of media that I was obsessed with for a long amount of time: a comprehensive list
Most of these were MAJOR hyperfixations, so I was stuck on them for months, sometimes even years. I mostly just wanted to make a list for the sake of research. Like, fandom trends and stuff like that.
My little Pony 2017-2018
Ooh boy I was a huge pony fan. I watched the show at least six or seven consecutive times, watched the movie in theaters, wrote my first fanfiction (though its unpublished and will always remain so), as well as just being a major annoyance to my parents. I didn’t own many toys, but i did own rocks that kind of looked like them, so I played with those. I remember the Twilight Sparkle rock went missing for a few days, and I made missing posters for it and everything.
The Dreamworks Trolls movie 2016-2017
Yes. I am being serious. I had a Trolls movie blanket, poster, and everything. I was seriously crazy about this movie. Like I remember buying the novelized version from like Micheals or something.
Harry Potter 2018-2021
I am extremely ashamed of this phase. Mostly because the author turned out to be a big stinky poo poo head. I literally knitted scarves and hats in house colors for my family (they’re actually quite comfy I intend to keep them but fuck you JKR) So long story short I want to burn this part of my history and never look back, while my family urges me to stare at the cringiest time in my life and say that I one day will return to it. And I want to say “No, Mother, I wish not to give more money to the TERF lady” but I doubt she’d get it.
Vocaloid 2022-
It took me a while to become a Vocaloid fan. It started with this cover of Chug Jug with you. I only tipped over the edge when I discovered Synth V’s Eleanor Forte through, you’ll never guess it, a Minecraft Revenge cover, and i swore to only listen to English songs. I then discovered Rishie-P’s cover of 4BLODD, which led me down the hole of English Vocaloid songs. Eventually I found myself listening to the Japanese ones. Now I’m a fully fledged miku fan who has a shrine to her above my bed.

10 PM on an October night, I just said “Fuck it” and watched Spy x family. It was honestly for the better. I was always used to asking for approval, making people tell me if I’m allowed to like something. As most of my followers know, this was how I really made it online. I wrote a 48k word Spy x family fic and all of a sudden I’m known for being the crazy one in the fandom.

This game, this FUCKIGN game. It gets me man, they gay people get me. My friend first introduced this game to me in July, and I’ve been hooked playing it ever since. I am an avid Pearlina Shipper, and well as an Agent 24 (3x8) enthusiast. I want more of these gay cephalopods on my dash. NOW!

Wait, that was a stupid question. We already are. Then, my actual ask is, what's your favorite pass time? Like what do you do when ur not on Tumblr??
Let me think. Mostly play video games honestly. DS, 2DS XL, Switch and after I move I'll have my Wii U and GameCube to play games on.
I will sometimes draw and paint, most general art. I do write fanfiction and write stories I hope to be published one day. These are all pretty rare since ADHD and fatigue kick my butt most days.
I watch mostly YouTube as of right now. Typically the gaming side of things with like Markiplier, Call Me Kevin, RTGame, Alpharad, stuff like that, but I watch a variety of content.
I'm on my phone a lot. I mostly just check fandoms for my special interests like the Splatoon subreddit or scrolling on here. Or just checking news.
I'm in the process of moving rn so I've been busy organizing some stuff and putting stuff away.
The only show I really watch right now is Bluey just cause I'm a traumatized individual lol, but I'll get with my friend MA on call and we'll watch videos or shows together. Like, we're trying to watch the rest of The Owl House, but with her busy schedule and not getting home till like 9 pm my time, yeah, we don't really got time to do that.
It really does just boil down to mostly video games and watching something and focusing on taking care of my body since disabilities and unable to get help for em thanks to financial stuff and relying on my parents. So I pretty much just spend time in my room, chatting with my friend MA and my girlfriend, watching stuff which is whatever I feel like, playing video games, and working on the boxing stuff up part of moving when I can. I also love reading, but I have a lot of books I bought for my trauma so they can emotionally exhaust me 😅
My favorite past time is def video games and watching stuff that seems so cool to me. For instance, watching speed runs or Mario Kaizo stuff. Since my hands don't respond well, I could not do a lot of it though I do want to get into speed running one day, so I love watching these people do things I cannot do. I love commentary side of YouTube. I love video essays on stuff I would normally not care about or stuff I haven't thought about in a long time, especially when it comes to lore of pieces of media that I will never care about. I have a wide variety of games and game systems to play, I'll also often play with my friend MA when we get the chance. So those are definitely my favorites. Just doing stuff that lets me relax, turn off my brain, or watch something that will make me almost die of laughter. I've played video games since as long as I can remember, starting with like educational kids games on the computer before I could even read. So they've always been a big comfort for me and a big part of my life and I love to challenge myself now with them and explore a variety of different games.
One thing I wanna get back into is Legos at some point. I miss building with Legos and so probably for a holiday or something or if I can save up for it, I'll just buy myself a nice Lego set to build.
I rambled a lot cause my thoughts are very disjointed, but I hope that gave ya an idea of what I do. I mostly play on my switch these days since it's the easiest for my to access. With my set up in my room, it's difficult to play the Wii and GameCube without back problems or the Wii remote struggling with the sensor bar + I'm moving so I'm getting them packed away. And then for my DS's, it's just I don't keep em charged honestly 😅 though I am actually playing Leaf Green on my DS right now so yay, I finally charged one lol. But yeah, that's pretty much all I do :p with video games and YouTube being the most prominent. I also mostly talk to MA and my gf a lot of the time. They're both long distance so texting is our main way to communicate since we can't just like hang out. But yeah, that's pretty much it. I'm gonna stop now lol. It's basically just whatever I hyperfixate on most of the time.
Edit: Pffft, just remembered. I roleplay with MA a lot. Mostly just comfort roleplays for both of us. I used to roleplay a lot and even had an Envy (fullmetal alchemist brotherhood) roleplay account, but gave it up cause of how fandoms can be and just some personal reasons and anxiety around interacting with people. I do that about just as much, when MA is free of course.

hey so uh. mutuals and anybody who talks to me on a regular basis and would notice I’m gone (aka 2 people who if you see this you know who you are :P), some shitty stuff went down for me irl last night and everything is kinda awful right now. lots of screaming and fighting/slamming shit and stuff going on around me and so much tension and anxiety. but the reason I’m making this post is to let you all know that because of some shit that happened irl, I’m going to be unable to get on the internet at all for an unknown amount of time. not even on phone data/wifi bc I don’t have service and my sister’s limited plan ran out. so yeah I’ll be gone completely not by my own choice. Sucks that this is happening because I could really seriously use some support from my friends but I can’t even talk to them or anyone so I’m on my own with this. I’m not coping too well asdfghjkl anyway yeah gonna be bored and depressed without access to any of the stuff I do on a daily basis. can’t even play Splatoon. at least I have music and my drawing program but the environment of my home rn is so toxic and anxiety-inducing. I was in a state of fight or flight last night that wouldn’t let up until like 3 am when I finally passed out. also I haven’t been showering or taking care of myself at all lol my depression is smashing me with a mallet

SPLATOON DLC!!!!! aarrggrurahrgh it makes me so excited that they're coming in wAVES!!!! i feel like there might be two more waves bc of the 4 in colours behind the words expansion pack and the 4 tapes under the wave 1 screen but idk that might just be me grasping at straws shkdjfgh wave 1!!! hOUHRUHGRHG INKOPOLIS PLAZAAA ;;;;;;;; i think it was really funny that the whole fandom lost their shit at the dlcs being announced n then after getting over the adrenaline collectively decided that wave 1 doesn't actually do shit shkjdfhg but honestly i like it! splatsville feels a bit big for me plus i never got to play splat1 that much so it's nice getting to see where it all started. also sQUID SISTERS PERFORMING AGAIN ;;;;; i Love that their city of colours instrumental didn't change but their singing clearly did, and they look older noww!! ;; and also their clothes do the glowy glow now too!!!! so happy for them -w- also ss is my fav idol group of the three (but the other two aren't far behind so it's not rlly significant jskjhdfg) so obv i'm excited to see them again ;;;; i hope that w bringing back the plaza they also bring back AT LEAST the arcade minigames and everything, bc it looks like the arcade machine is still present in the plaza (but i might be tripping so don't take my word for it :p

Different. just the teaser itself felt like this Huge leap from the usual energy of splatoon in almost every aspect, colourless, slow, inquisitive. i'm hoping that the story is deeper w this dlc! maybe even make it feel like an rpg? idk but like, it'd be cool i think if they took the lore stuff in oe, the dialogue, the chat rooms, the Everything, and really tied it into the gameplay instead of making it feel like something you can always just check later if that makes sense? ough i am sO fucking excited for side order,, the music, the aesthetic, the story, the Everthing man aURUGHUGGH
NEXT MY CHILDHOOD BEST FRIEND KIRBY'S RTD DELUXE!!!!!!! AWOHHWHGOAWHGA i love kirby rtd ;;;;; it's my very first kirby game!! and one that i'd play over and over and over and over again. i'm so happy that it's getting remade for the switch ;;; absolutely looove the outline thing they did w the characters! i love that they kept the colours nice and bright and fun just like i remember! i'mm not sure yet how i feel about retconning king dedede's design hkdjfhg since rtd was my first game his design there is the one i'm used to n not his earlier design in kirby 64 crystal shards :p but yeah! i really like the merry magoland!! i played it a bit in the demo and it's a fun lil mario party minigame mountain feeling thing -w- aND THE MASK THING IS SO COOL??? U CAN WEAR THEM IN STORY MODE TOO!!!! i think it's really neat that they added the souvenirs to help you in ur playthrough n all that, and they added an easy mode w the magolor help thingy! i'm always a fan of people adding easy modes to games -w- (won't go too into that though bc i could be a whole nother post probably jkdhfgs) ooouhg n then there's the magolor epilogue!!!!! u get to play as the bastard!!!!!!!!!!!! he looks so pathetic n cute i'm sorry hkdjfhg i think it's really cool what they did! the whole upgrading thing n making it a bit more rpg-like which is new for kirby games afaik! oughh i'm really happy that they added new content ><

HE'S ALIVE!!! ngl after katrielle layton flopped i thought they'd never continue the series kdjfhg kat layton didn't even feel like a part of the series it kinda just felt like a spinoff or smth. but he's here! he's alive!!! and i love that the One Background we see is so distinctly layton ;; it's making me think of specifically professor layton and the unwound future. ugh gOD i am so fucking excited to go through another crazy adventure. i remember playing through Every layton game and each and every one has some crazy batshit insane twist at the end and you can Never really figure out what's going to happen until the very end and i LOVE that!!! i remember finishing Azran legacy and feeling a lil bittersweet. i'd wish that i could play it all for the first time again. katrielle layton came around but that was a bit of a letdown ;-; i barely even remember anything from it anymore :p but god. GOD. professor layton new world of steam. FUCK man

- Bloons TD 6 (Much better at watching it than playing it. Favorite towers are sniper and mortar and favorite hero is the purple monkey whose name I forgor)
- Cookie Run (I play ovenbreak and kingdom. My most favorite cookies are Angel, Pilot, Vampire, Dark Enchantress, Matcha, Zombie, and Skater. I also like all the rares a lot lol)
- Cuphead (Watched multiple playthroughs of it, including the DLC, never bought it but played it with a friend)
- Danganronpa (I am not in the fandom anymore, nor do I support the problematic content in the games. I like quite a few of the characters and some fangans though, and one of my anons is a fan of it so take that as you will)
- Deltarune (My favorite characters are Berdly and Queen. Have played it and thoroughly enjoyed it)
- Dicey Dungeons (I play it on my nintendo switch. Haven't played it in a long time though. Need to get back to playing it with the free dlc that came out recently)

- Rusty Lake (I haven't played it, but I've watched playthroughs of most of the games! I really like it, despite the fact that I tend to not like horror/horror-like games. I really like Mr Crow)
- Sam & Max (Season 1 is my favorite and I may or may not have cried after watching 305)
- Super Mario (I adore all the Mario games! They're really cool! Some of my favorite characters are Bowser Jr, Birdo, Roy, Wario, Bowser, and Mario)
- Splatoon (I played the funny squid game a lot when I had nintendo switch online but not so much anymore. My favorite idol is Marina and I main bloblobber and slosher/hero slosher)
- Stardew Valley (Funny farmer game go brrr. My favorite characters are George, Evelyn, and Krobus)

- Yakuza (I just really like the silliness of it. Kiryu is def a really great character)
