As a LaiKabuMisu enjoyer, I never thought I'd need to see desperate Mithrun->Kabru before in my life, thank you so much for the food in these dark times.

desperate mithrun just makes me GIGGLE like the meme i made takes it a bit far for comedy's sake but it's like. this guy who only recently began to live for something else other than revenge and it's thanks to kabru and suddenly kabru dissapears his from life because he has a "job" . we've already seen mithrun go sulky when kabru doesn't side with him despite having valid reasons not to LOL (sfx: hmph)

i truly can see the momentary disconnect (i doubt this lasts very long or at least doesn't manifest obviously. mithrun is a quiet and ultimately rational guy) where he's like "... i thought kabru was gonna stay with me though?" and not even necessarily in a romantic light (for starters anyway). just in the way that mithrun just counted on kabru's companionship, but when adult schedules and establishing a kingdom collide, i think kabru would also equally have a hard time giving up what he works very hard for (protecting humans/short-lived races and being able to help govern so that this is possible). i can absolutely see kabru accidentally neglecting his relationships for too long, and not realising until his party intervenes, or mithrun 'hmph's at him again and he's like '..what did i do.'

Thinking about that interview where Simon Pegg says Benji has a crush on Ethan. I love the progression of that because you’re watching him decide how much to let on in real time. He starts at ‘eh I’ll play it safe and say he’s looking for a woman similar to him’ and within 15 seconds has sprinted his way to ‘nvm he wants Ethan.’ Very Benji Dunn of him.

honestly echo is probably going to die heroically in the next two episodes. he's not with rex, gregor, and wolffe in rebels, he's not with the greater rebellion, and Echo Base exists.

what i'm more curious about is when cody gets his own heroic sacrifice. he's not with rex and he's not with obi wan, so unless he also fell in a sarlacc or got carbonited, he's definitely dead.

anyways, the last episode's title is The Cavalry Has Arrived. and who could be a more fitting "cavalry" than Cody?

Constantly thinking of the many ways Roach could be incorporated into the reboot timeline but in the most angsty way possible.

I lowkey like the idea that Roach and Ghost were partners in the past and sent out on a mission where only one of them came back (Ghost) while the other was presumed dead (Roach).

That mission could be this timeline's version of Loose Ends where they're betrayed, but not by Sheppard. (And it also explains the "Careful who you trust, people you know can hurt you the most." line by Ghost.)

Or it could just be a mission that ended terribly and Ghost has to live with the pain of losing Roach.

Anyways the next part is inspired by this post by @rodolfoparra with Roach being a Shadow Company soldier.

I'm thinking Roach becomes a Shadow after being found half-dead by Sheppard's men. Happens right after the mission where Ghost thought he died.

He becomes recruited and now works for Sheppard (this is lowkey inspired by the cod:g storyline where the enemy captured, tortured and brainwashed one of the good guys into joining their side.)

This would also make for some good ass angst-ridden reunion when Ghost discovers that not only is Roach alive, but he is now serving the enemy.

This could be reluctant enemies to lovers lmao (or just enemies to friends if that's more your thing)

Imagine Roach having a vendetta against Ghost because he believes he was abandoned/left for dead during that past mission. Like idk Sheppard or some other SC officer brainwashed him into believing Ghost had discarded him.

Maybe Roach defects from SC because of Ghost either trying to bring Roach back to their side, or just by Roach being unable to bring himself to fight/hurt Ghost.

I feel like Roach is a fiercely loyal man to whoever he is allied with, so it would probably take a lot for him to break away from SC in the beginning (esp since I'm going with him being brainwashed into joining them.)

Anyways, I am a shameless ghostroach shipper at heart so my reboot!Roach hcs are going to generate the most amount of angst possible for these two. Just think of the potential.

It kind of devastates me how little work was put into the Gale origin. Like you couldn't even record one extra line so that Elminster doesn't refer to "the troubles that have befallen you both" when he comes to tell Gale to kill himself? No cutscene for the character you're romancing to try and convince him not to do it? As is the only realistic ending for a Gale origin run is to blow up in act 2, because there's no place holder for Tav to convince him not to do it at any point.

This may be a glitch but I can't even mention the ordeal to any companions except Wyll and Lae'zel, neither of which I'm dating and only one of which I even told that artefacts weren't keeping the orb stable anymore (because that dialogue option disappeared from all the companions after I told Wyll). I hope it's just a glitch and there is blocked dialogue about it somewhere because this is just depressing.

My new favourite thing is finding pictures of characters in suits (or something like suits) so they can be the Bugs Bunny meme

I gotta get back into my new Age of Calamity file (been knitting and playing our second Tears file all the time), 'cause I am still soooo far away from unlocking Kohga and I need to get himmmm again. I mean I could just go in my old file and have him kill some vicious lynels to get my fix or something but. No I want to rebuild My Best Guy and see if I can possibly make him even more Best.

But. I mean.

That would be pretty hard.

(I accept the challenge but I gotta be patient and get through the 'let's destroy the Yiga Clan woohoo!' parts first astfglaslkfjsldfkj. I mean not that I hate those missions, I love fighting Sooga and Kohga as I have said before, and I adore the cutscenes involving them. But I wanna play as them even more, they're just so fun. Also I got sosososo lucky with Kohga's weapon drops last time so hopefully I will again this time too so I can make him an even better Demon Carver. If that's even. Possible. I will do my best! Glory to Master Kohga etcetc!)
