yul is an incredible cook like you said anon! their food is made even better by the fact that they tailor all the meals they make to the mc's palate.

iseul is a serviceable chef! she's perfectly average. she can't make anything really complicated but she usually manages to make something decent if she sets her mind to it. the food might be a little bit burnt or too salty or spicy, but pretty edible overall.

??? can cook in the sense that they know how to prepare animals or throw things into a pot and make shitty stew, but they're rarely in situations where they need to make meals. they aim for utility rather than taste, so their food is best consumed via pinching your nose and throwing it down your gullet.

I saw a post either here or on twitter how some Dungeon Meshi anime enjoyers regard Laios' interest in monsters/eating them to be a sex thing. Im sorry to tell you that's just how foodies are. We want to try the weirdest combos of foods ever because it sounds like it might be delicious.

I didn't make any medical calls yet, but Grandpa took me to drop off my food stamps paperwork and make the cashier's check for my rent/utilities. I'm grateful and relieved how at least those things are already accomplished. Chris is going to come get me tomorrow morning and take me shopping. Then, wherever he doesn't take me, I'll have Grandpa take me on Sunday, perhaps. I am going to shower now. I want to smell good for whatever I'm doing tomorrow. Then, I'll try to make at least one medical call before I take my night medication. If it's too late to make any calls, I can still do them on Monday. I can also finish writing down what foods I want to buy at the stores I want to visit. I want to make the most out of these trips, so I better not forget anything. Meal prep is just hard. I can't always make up my mind or predict what I'll feel like cooking.
