Things I'm doing today to cope with the news that OFMD won't be finding a new home:
Cry. Duh.
An eye mask, to deal with the side effects of crying. Roach and Fang would approve. Self-care is sooo important.
I'm going to have my first appointment with a new therapist. The decision to finally start therapy was a direct result of a Rhys Cameo hitting a bit too close to home, and then supported by friends I made in this fandom.
I'm going to support some artists by purchasing some OFMD merch.
I've purchased a Blu-Ray of the show off eBay. I've seen so many helpful guides around torrents, etc., but the sad fact is I am lazy about learning new technology and just want to be able to watch on my TV with no effort.
I'm going to read at least one fic that's been on my MFL for ages and leave the author lots of love.
I'm going to noodle on my own WIPs, and if I'm able to get the energy, I'm even going to write.
It's a gorgeous day outside, so I'm going to go for a walk and enjoy the sunshine. Captain's orders.
I'm going to take every opportunity I can to shower our crew with love. I'll be honest, my heart is very fragile right now and I'm not sure if I'm really up for, let's say, enthusiastic loving? But once I've recovered a bit I am going to be SMOTHERING all of you with love. (And in the meantime, please know there's still plenty of room in the blanket fort and I am giving you all the tightest of hugs.)
Hope you all are finding ways to get through. Always here for anyone who needs to chat, mutuals or not. I may not be able to respond right away because, well, see above. I'm having a day! And so should all of you. Much love. 💕

hello! a few hours from now, the epilogue of go on, claim my heart, the my fair lady sequel, is gonna be posting, so i wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who has stopped by my lil corner of the internet to read what has become my largest writing project to date. i had no idea what i was getting myself into when i first started writing mfl, especially not half a year of feverish, near-obsessive plotting and writing and rewriting this story that would not leave me alone. a lot of things fell to the wayside as i wrote mfl and gocmh, and i don't regret any of it, because i can safely say that this is the writing that i am the most proud of.
i want to thank @romeoandjulietyouwish in particular for her graciously allowing me to play in her sandbox. no one's mind works like lis's, and as i have said before, she comes up with so many fucking stellar ideas that she leaves crumbs for the rest of us, so i'm super grateful that she's so kind about letting us take those crumbs and make them our own. mfl wouldn't exist without you, lis, so thank you, thank you, thank you.
i also could not wrap this series without calling out the two best readers a girl could ask for, @ravendruid and @crispysnake. y'all are fucking unhinged, but it is the exact energy that every writer needs to keep going. i can't tell you the number of times a drabble or chapter posted that i wasn't particularly fond of that you two completely changed my opinion about. you two are the kindest, most enthusiastic, most generous readers, and i'm so lucky that you're also my friends. please continue to be absolutely batshit in my tags; it's the only thing that keeps me going.

a hopefully but probably not quick note about the future of mfl: today, like literally right now, i am in the middle of my first day of work at a brand new job, one that will require me to move my entire life halfway across the country, back to my hometown. it is big and scary and exhilarating and everything i've been hoping for, and i feel so, so lucky. this does mean that for the next little bit, while i learn a new job and pick up my shit and drive cross-country, i will probably be less able to write long or short fics, so i hope y'all don't mind me shutting up for the first time in forever. that being said, while i have absolutely no plans to write a third installment in the mfl 'verse, that doesn't mean there isn't more to say (as y'all will find out in like three and a half hours lol). i fully plan on still writing tmwiw drabbles set before, during, and after mfl/gocmh, and i will still be accepting prompts and requests for drabbles set in this 'verse until i say otherwise. mfl will always occupy an inordinate amount of my brain space, and i refuse to not share that with y'all.
additionally! starting very soon (like, maybe tomorrow? we'll see how busy i am, lol), i will be posting to ao3 the entirety of the mfl 'verse in chronological order. every chapter, one-shot, and drabble, in the order that they happened. another massive shout-out to @ravendruid for being my own personal lore-keeper on this; she read every single mfl chapter, tmwiw drabble, and one-shot to help me get this shit in order. the ao3 work will be titled i've come a long, long way (also from "my fair lady" by kaleo, are we seeing a pattern here?), and the plan is to post five chapters a day until the whole thing is up (although, again, with the moving this might get a lil wibbly wobbly). there will be some additional proofreading edits to these chapters (sometimes i can't spell!!) but nothing about the substance of these chapters will change, so this is just for people who like their stories to be told chronologically (fucking weirdos). this work will only be available on ao3, although it will be linked on my mfl masterpost.
ok, i think i am done for now. i have taken up enough of your time, in so many more ways than one. thank you again, if you read every single installment of the mfl saga or if you just read a paragraph. all of it means the world to me, and i know i never would have continued past the first chapter if i weren't part of such a wonderful, loving, generous, brilliant community. i've only been watching critical role for just over a year now, part of the fandom for even less than that, and i can't believe i haven't always had y'all in my life. please continue to love and support each other, and thank you for loving and supporting me.

How many fics have you written?
45 fanfics in three different fandoms – The X-Files, Glee and Schitt’s Creek
When did you publish your first fic on AO3?
I first published a fic on AO3 in October of 2012. Prior to that I posted on fanfiction.net, and my first fic there was posted November of 2010. My very first fic, Donation, was posted to Gossamer (an X-Files fanfic archive) waaaay back in 2000.
Yes, I am a Fandom Old.
Describe your writing process from “Oh, I have an idea” to pushing publish on AO3.
I do a lot of writing in my head before I actually put words on the page. I’ll picture the various scenes, like what the characters are wearing, facial expressions, how the dialogue sounds. Then I’ll start writing from beginning to end – I’m a very linear writer, so I never skip around or write scenes out of order. I’ll usually edit when I’m done over the course of a couple of days before uploading to AO3.
Tell me about your most recent fic? What do you love about it? Is there anything you think you could have done better?
Ugh, I’m so sad that my latest fic was back in December of 2020! It was The Best Decorations for the Schitt’s Creek: Frozen Over 2020 Fest. [The Best Decorations]
What I loved about it – I really liked exploring how Patrick still has to fight the urge to keep secrets. I feel like if you spent as many years as he did hiding things from the people he loves in order to protect them, it wouldn’t be the sort of thing you could just stop doing on a dime. That kind of habit sticks around a long time, if it even ever goes away. I also really love writing David being loving, compassionate, and willing to compromise with his husband.
What I could have done better – I wish I could have fleshed it out a little bit more. It tells the story I wanted it to, but I feel like it could have used more scenes, particularly with David and/or Patrick interacting with other characters and not just each other.
What advice would you give to someone who’s thinking about publishing their fic for the first time?
Well, first of all, just do it! I remember when I posted my first Glee fic I thought no one would read it, or if they did, the comments would all say that it sucked rocks. But my goodness, the feedback was truly amazing right from the start. It’s scary to put yourself out there (said Patrick Brewer once I think lol), but fanfic is the one writing medium where you have a built-in interest from the start. Fans love these characters and they are often voracious for more than just what they’ve been given on screen.
The only other advice I can really give is to make sure that your story is formatted correctly and has decent spelling and grammar. You can have the best story in the world, but if it’s a struggle for people to read or understand what you’ve written it won’t get the appreciation it deserves.
Outlines - yes or no?
No – I have a general idea in my head of what I want to cover and include, but I rarely write any of it down. I’ve never done a formal outline at all.
Are you interested in writing original fiction?
Funny that you ask! I actually do write original fiction – I have two novels, a novella, and a short story published under the pen name Laurin Kelly. They were originally published by an LGBTQ publishing house called Less Than Three Press, but they sadly went out of business in 2015. I have self-published all of my backlist on Amazon KDP, and am currently working on the sequel to my 3rd book.
Tell me about a fic you’ve read that always makes you cry?
There are SO MANY, but for sure @blueink3’s Let Your Heart Be Light series and @nontoxic-writes’s You and My Hometown are always a guaranteed sob-fest. I am such a sucker for mutual pining and second-chance romance!
Do your IRL friends and family know you write fic?
My husband and adult daughter know about the fanfiction. There are slightly more people who know about my original works, but I keep those pretty close to my chest as well.
What’s a fic (by any author) you love that you don’t think enough people know about?

The Dappled with the Flickers of Light series by @yourbuttervoicedbeau is so amazingly written and should get all the love! Talk about a RarePair – it’s about the very non-canonical relationship between Rachel and Jake, and is my favorite take on Rachel post-The Barbecue that I’ve ever read. I would encourage everyone to give it a try – I bet you’ll get hooked after the first story! [Editor’s note: doingthemost ( @sarahlevys) has also contributed to that series.]

so... we are three days into march and i’m just getting around to posting this. i’d like to make it very clear that i am still extremely valid regardless.
february went by super fast + i was super busy & chaotic, so i didn’t have time to read many fics, but i’d like to give a shout out to the ones i enjoyed!
Nor All That Glisters by @sweet-s0rr0w
i loved the concept of this fic from the very beginning - draco developing a dependency on felix felicis - and despite thinking i knew what was coming, i was thrown a lot of curveballs that i totally wasn’t expecting. i loved the way draco was characterized in this fic and the cast of side characters, and the gorgeous art by @deancebra and @fantalf adds so much as well.
Wild by Seefin
i’m aware that this is already a very popular fic in fandom, but it absolutely kicked my legs out from under me and had some of the most realistic and complex relationship dynamics i’ve seen in a drarry. so basically if this one has been on your MFL for a while, consider this your sign to finally read it!! (and then come yell at me about it!! please!)
Game On by @pennygalleon
competitive, snarky, and fiery fake dating with what felt like a very lifelike portrayal of quidditch player drama. this was a really fun pick-me-up of a fic that also has some absolutely incredible art by @bluebutter-art.
Hell and Other Places by @tepre
i was so blindsided by how much this fic did with such a low wordcount. the relationship in this fic has such massive scope and feels so real that it manages to make the accidental opening of a door to hell seem like an afterthought.

the prose in this fic is so sparse and punchy, and reading it felt like i was peeling back layers of a mystery - the portrayals of draco and harry feel so lifelike, and something about this fic lingered in my mind for days after.

incredible worldbuilding and an absolute gut punch of an ending - which makes it totally rife for a second read.
The Dark Mirror by @mystickitten42
vampires, cursed mirrors, bloodplay, and pure unadulterated evil... what more could a small bird ask for? this fic had such fun horror elements - read the tags and have fun!
Iterum by @moonstruckwytch
this was a fantastic horror piece full of evil fun, and hosts a line of dialogue from draco toward the end that i can’t stop thinking about.

hi how do you usually find fics to read???
ahh hi!! the short answer is i get them from quite a few different places, the long answer is:
tumblr: i find a lot of my shorter reads from @drarryspecificrecsdaily, which posts all of the complete drarry fics posted every day (which is so impressive!) and if one catches my eye ill dive in. i also keep up with quite a few reccers/rec blogs/fic finders: @thedrarrylibrarian, @lostdrarryfics, @drarryficrex, @sitp-recs (for old rec lists/newer single recs), @sweet-s0rr0w, @thebooktopus, @somegymnast, @the-starryknight, @drarry-fic-rambling, and more that im sure im forgetting. you can check out this drarry reccers masterlist for more! i also hoard fic posts that come across my dash like a dragon– i keep them in my drafts, and when im in the mood for something new i just pop into my drafts and see what looks good. generally once ive read all the fics that interest me on a rec list (or the single fic in single recs) ill then reblog the post to get it out of my drafts. the jury is still out on whether this is a good solution, seeing as i have nearly 300 drafts now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
discord: im in multiple drarry discord servers with fic rec channels. i just save the ones that look interesting and work through them! i like these because writers can self rec, so i see fics i may have missed on tumblr. hit me up in dms if you’d like an invite to the drarry fans or drarry microfic discords
my friends: honestly at this point this is my biggest way of finding longer fics. my friends have a general sense of the kind of story i enjoy, and i trust them when they say a fic is too angsty for me or if itll be just right. im actually slowly working through a list of friend recs right now, ive been tagging the reccers in my softly reading lists!
fests: if there’s a fest i want to keep up with, i follow their tumblr and check the ao3 collection to catch any fics that sound interesting to me! i mostly hear about fests on discord :)
ao3 author pages: if i find a fic i really like from one of the above ways ill usually go to an author’s page and check out the rest of their stuff!! generally ill put their works on my mfl and read through them eventually rather than all at once
hopefully this is helpful? obviously this is just how i personally find fics, there are other ways to find great fics to read!! there are SO many drarry fics that exist and new ones are posted every day so i almost never go into the ao3 tag blind bc it’s overwhelming to me, but it might work for you! ao3’s tag filtered search is great if you’re looking for something specific. i hope this helps you find something new to read!

Look, Clint didn't mean to hit the guy, it just sort of happened. He was distracted, and the guy was distracted, and then things were a little bit out of his control. And even if it wasn't completely his fault, he still feels pretty bad about it. He had to go see the guy, didn't he? It was only polite, so yeah. He'd do that.
And look, he doesn't mean to start fake dating his accident victim either, but sometimes life is weird that way. You just gotta go with the flow when it happens, and learn to be the best fake boyfriend ever.
This is not only my favorite IronHawk fic, but also one of my favorite fics in general. I’m not one for overly fluffy stuff, but this fic is an exception. I absolutely adore Clint here and re-read this story so many times already I could probably recite it from memory. Sometimes I don’t have the time to read the whole fic, so I just jump to the beginning of chapter 2 cause it’s literally my favorite scene written ever. Honestly, you just need a feel-good? This fic is it.

The circus has a way of evening people out. Everyone looks the same when the lights center on the stage. The whole audience, just blank shadows, staring in. Everyone looks like nothing.
Someone like this, though. Someone like him. They’ll throw off that nothing before they get back to whatever pampered bed they crawled out of. Everyone else stays nothing, but, for people like that, it’s just a temporary state.
Clint doesn’t mean to watch him. It’s just that he keeps catching Clint’s eye.
A+++ characterization and amazing mix of heart-wrenching yet so beautiful. Phenomenal fics!

Clint has always been a people watcher - he likes things better from a distance, after all. Hanging out in the Student Center with Nat supplies him with a primo lookout and fodder for stories. He's learned a lot about college students since they started hanging there - he can spot a freshman or a grad student from a mile away.
One in particular has really caught his eye lately. Not because he's attractive - though he is - but because he's both adorable and clearly a Grad Student Zombie. It really gets his protective, mother hen instincts up. Clearly something must be done.
Absolutely adorable. I really love how this author writes Clint a whole lot.

When SHIELD decided they were going to send an agent to assess Tony Stark, a.k.a. Iron Man, the Black Widow was their first choice to do the assessment.
Unfortunately (or maybe not so unfortunately), they would have to go with their second choice, instead.
IM2 but Clint is sent to spy on Tony instead of Natasha. And since this is Clint, the story takes quite a different turn. My favorite part is the moment Clint realizes Tony is dying, because of how he realizes it.

Okay I finally checked out your fics please don't judge me on how long it took me but I'm so impressed, multiple chapter fics, like the space pirates one with 18 chapter and 92k???? I'm so amazed like yes Queen/King/ Your Royal Highness like omg there are no words I'm simply baffled
Do you mind if I ask how do you stay motivated to write various chapter fics, it's something I have trouble with and would love to know how you do it cause I'm extremely impressed 😳😳💕💕

As far as staying motivated? Honestly, sometimes it's a struggle. It helps me to write a story I'm excited about. Write what I want to read, y'know? For me, I have to love my characters and be motivated in their change in order to keep writing. Idk if that makes sense? But, usually, when I'm writing I have a clear opening, a clear ending, and a muddy middle with various scenes that I want to fit in because they're cute/funny/sexy/angsty/etc. Then I can put things in order or start building the puzzle of my story from there, piece by piece.
So I try to plot! Some people hate it, some people love it, some can't write with or without it. Everyone is different. Find what works for you. I like bulleted lists. I write out what each character starts out with, what they want, and how they will change throughout the story and if they do or do not get what they want. Then every day when I sit down to write (well, when I'm in a good brain space) I know "I want to get this scene done today." Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.
Don't beat yourself up if you don't get your writing goals done for the day, either.
Also-- I've realized that I like to finish my fics before I post them. I worked on my sci-fi story for almost two years before I was okay with the idea that the PLOT was done, even though it still needed several rounds of edits. But it helped me because I didn't stress about time-frame or deadlines like I did with JaT or MfL (chef/dance au respectively). The days that I didn't feel like writing? I didn't write. Plain and simple. The habit is important, but so is your mental health.
Find friends that you trust to help you. I have two or three that I know I can show snippets or chapters to and get their thoughts and help; and sometimes their excitement will get ME excited. My friend/editor for JaT (my chef!au fic) was the sole reason I finished it because they would go "okay what happens NEXT" any time I finished a scene.
Just try to find the thing you love about your story. Write because you want to, not because you feel like you need/have to. Write because it makes you happy, even if actually DOING it can be frustrating sometimes. <3 I hope that helps. Good luck, friend!

So, since you and bixgirl made me watch The Untamed with the abundance of intriguing tumblerposts and your lovely “The boy who died”, now I have to read more fic in this fandom too - of course! If you want - do you have any recommendations? I’ve only just scratched the surface, but stumbled acros idrilka on AO3 and she writes an amazing epilogue for the show in “My age has never made me wise”.

I’m thrilled that our pyramid-scheming people into the Untamed is going strong, yay! :DD
Thing is, I finished the drama fairly recently, then finished the (super long) novel, watched the donghua, currently reading through the manhua, and, in-between, I wrote The Boy Who Died, which took me 3+ weeks of solid writing.
This is all to say that I haven’t read widely in the mdzs/cql fandom (yet! My Marked for Later list is full to the brim with MDZS fics). I have read only some short fics, which were all excellent. Here’s a selection:

6k, Teen. Summary: Lan Wangji is Chief Cultivator, Wei Wuxian is travelling the world somewhere, and the Jingshi fills up with mysterious flowers.(Set between the last two scenes of TV canon.)

6k, E, bottom!LWJ. Summary: The Yiling Patriarch makes a bargain with the cultivation world. He'll give them the power to defeat Wen Ruohan. No more death. No more war. All he wants in return is Lan Wangji.
3. The (Several) Convenient Kidnappings of the Chief Cultivator by the Yiling Patriarch by misscam
4k, Mature. Summary: “Yes, Clan Leader Jiang. It is most regrettable, but the Yiling Patriarch has once again kidnapped His Excellency. However, we have every confidence in His Excellency’s safe eventual return.”“Of course you do,” Jiang Cheng says bitterly. “You get a more agreeable Chief Cultivator, and everyone is happy, right? You are all so happy the Yiling Patriarch kidnaps the Chief Cultivator on a regular basis. How can you not delight in the fact that Wei Wuxian has no shame and is revered for it? Aren’t you all thrilled, thrilled, that Lan Wangji is such good friends with Wei Wuxian that they spend so many friendly nights together and His Excellency returns like a lovesick fool afterwards and is so conveniently more agreeable?”“…”“I hate you all,” Jiang Cheng declares and stomps off.
This author has a bunch of wangxian stories and I’m planning to read them all. Wonderful writing style with a lot of humour.
4. Jiujiu Gets A Puppy by Skadiseven (@needtherapy)
1.7k, Gen. Summary: Wei Wuxian wants to get Jiang Cheng a gift.
He's trying to be brave, okay?

Summary: It’s possible that letting go of this crush on Wei Ying would have been easier for Lan Zhan if he didn’t know that Wei Ying and his lover, Mo Xuanyu, often took thirds to bed. It is almost certain that letting go of this crush would have been easier had Lan Zhan not become one of them.

2020 Fic Year In Review
Thank you to @discordantwords who tagged me!
Total number of completed stories: 41 this year
Total word count: 368,914; by the time I have finished posting Martyrs For Love, I will have reached 1 million words. And will have a small party. Happy Anniversary #3 on AO3 to me! You all keep me sane.
Fandoms written in: BBC Sherlock; Sherlock Holmes - Arthur Conan Doyle; one Good Omens crossover this year.
Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you’d expected? About what I expected; not as much as last year, but I'm satisfied.
What’s your own favorite story of the year? This is like being asked to name my favorite son! Of my long fics, I would choose Wooing Sherlock Holmes or Do No Harm. Wooing was sort of a surprise to me, a story I wrote on an impulse that ended up meaning a lot to me. Do No Harm was the first proper English mystery novel I've written, and I was pleased it turned out so well. Of my short stories, I would choose either While You Were Dead or Solstice, the first because I loved inserting time travel into the story; and the latter because it was cathartic to write-- stylistically, and because of the hopeful character arc.
Did you take any writing risks this year?
Do No Harm was a stretch for me. Lots of plotting and suspects to keep track of, and a satisfying ending to provide. Though I love mysteries, I had never written one before.
Plot Devices was written as a joke, just a way for me to work out my dissatisfaction with the last two seasons of BBC Sherlock. I posted it on a whim, and did not expect anyone to like it. My sense of humor is sometimes a bit extra. I thought I'd gone over the top, but at least a few readers followed me. Thank you!
Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the new year?
Goals: To read more; to leave comments more often. To finish some of my more ambitious stories. Also, to write less. Or rather, to give myself some slack. This last year has taught me that I need thinking space, and don't always get that. I don't want writing to become a chore. While it's still a joy, I want to recapture some of that Beginner's Mind.
More specifically:
This year I've written mostly short fiction. I hope to write a couple of longer stories in 2021. Currently I have a project or two that will be novel-length.
I have a few more stories to add to my Conductor of Light series.
I have several fun projects going, rom-coms and things. Humor. Fluff.
And more short stories.
Most popular story of the year? Wooing Sherlock Holmes.
Story of mine most under-appreciated by the universe, in my opinion:
23 of the stories I wrote this year were in the Arthur Conan Doyle Holmes fandom; these generally get less attention than the BBC Sherlock stories, but I have a very loyal group of fans who always read them and leave wonderful comments. Many thanks!
In February I wrote a very short ACD story for International Fandom Day called Fandom. I had fun writing it, but it never acquired many kudos. Again, my odd sense of humour.
Most fun story to write: Do No Harm: the plotting; inventing the characters; playing with the ending; and writing a story set in the 1920s. This was a great experience.
Most unintentionally telling story: I wrote so many Reichenbach Return stories. See: Many Happy Returns. This tells me that The Reichenbach Fall is a problem I haven't yet resolved, maybe never will. Doyle made it simple: a short conversation in which Holmes apologizes, Watson accepts, and they move on to another case. BBC made it more challenging for us, spawning fanfic galore.
Biggest disappointment: Not completing some projects that have been in the works. And so many stories on my MFL list that I meant to read.
Biggest surprise: Many Happy Returns. I hadn't planned to write a series until I realised that I had four stories with the same theme. And then I wrote three more. Maybe more will appear at some point.

HAPPY ONE YEAR OF MY FAIR LADY.
Thank you for making me lose sleep, for making me cry and laugh, for giving me so much anxiety for three days that I couldn't think about anything other than Vax being charmed, for being an inspiration, for teaching me how to write (the jury is still debating on this one), for putting out a story that could only rival the best masterpieces in modern literature, and above all, thank you for RUINING every other fanfic and published works (especially smut) because none---I REPEAT, NONE---can reach MFL standards.
Now go write another one, please.

alas, the holidays are truly over.
I did spend about 6 hours this week watching BATK and The Big Fat Quiz Of The Year and The Big Fat Quiz Of The Decade so that was fun.

The Parent Snap (follow_the_sun) - 54K, Pt 1 of The Odinbrood Adventures - what if in one timeline, Bucky Barnes took the time stone and used it to rescue Odin’s kids from his terrible parenting? This was a fun AU!
Wanna Feel the Heat With Somebody (2bestfriends) - 72K, Stucky a/b/o AU - I love a/b/o, I love these authors, I loved this! (though ngl, becca’s personality/actions when we first meet her made me come very close to noping out but my trust in these authors wasn’t misplaced)
A Political Holiday (crinklefries, Deisderium) - 48K, politics AU, fantastic sequel to Political Animals - former Republican Bucky takes his Socialist Democrat boyfriend home to meet the family
Heat Stroke (xantissa, cleo4u2) - 243K, Stucky a/b/o - since I was still in an a/b/o mood, I dove into this big one that had been in my MFL for a while. so worth it. very slow burn; the first almost half is a kind of action thriller - I enjoyed that while the conflict was largely due to miscommunication, it wasn’t because they weren’t talking but rather that due to life experiences etc they were using words that didn’t mean the same thing to both of them

Where the Need is Greatest (Niitza) - 19K - “In which Steve Rogers takes one look at the history of American military interventions since the end of World War II and nopes straight out of it, follows in his Ma's footsteps to become a paramedic, joins Doctors Without Borders, gets sent on an unsanctioned humanitarian mission to Syria, and somehow still ends up being a determining factor in Hydra's downfall - all of this without throwing a single punch.”

Oh gosh, I dunno, perhaps Tumblr unfollowed you from me?? I do try to make an effort to post new stuff daily – admittedly not as frequently as I would like, since I sadly had to step back a teeny bit for my own mental health and my own desire to reclaim a bit of my free time. But I do try to have one post an hour scheduled daily between 8 am and 3 PM, sometimes every half hour if I got ambitious in the replying to my asks, LOL.
ANNNND I do try my best to keep regular posts for fic lists too :) But I try to be an active and interactive blog! I'm so sorry that my blog isn't as busy as it once was :( I just... as I get older, I value more downtime for myself. This blog IS still run at a high-level: at least 2 hours nightly 5 days a week to file and prep the blog for the next day, and then about 8 hours each weekend to reply to asks and prep fics lists.
Sometimes I just want to do art (that I am REALLY behind on), or play video games, LOL. Admittedly I've been doing more of the latter because my daily life has been busy and video games let me fight fantasy creatures with a sword LOL.
ANYWAY, that all said, I am doing all right, just some days are better than others :)
Back to your actual ask, I actually have a thread here about Mystrade you can check out here that JUST posted earlier in the week! I don't read Mystrade so I have nothing personal I can rec, but that post does have a couple fics plus my own list of MFLs too :)
