Clear card pros and cons (that i can remember i need to reread it again)
Pros:
SYAOSAKU DATING ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
idk more content around our fave characters (though not as much but take it as you will)
The wierd ass technology update all of a sudden everyone has iphones (minus syaoran)
It picked up from the og ending where syaoran comes back from hong kong
SYAOSAKU DATING 🥹🥹🥹
SYAOSAKU WENT ON A DATE ‼️‼️
Unlocked sakura new swag (at the cost of ending her cardcaptor retirement…)
(Anime only) english dub actors of trc syaosaku voice ccscc syaosaku i thought that was pretty cool (syaoran sounds like maybe he went through puberty a little too early but thats okay)
(Anime only) SYAORAN SPEAKS FRENCH IN THE ENGLISH DUB
cute art style
Maybe just me but sometimes i get a little emotional seeing sakura in her daily life in middle school because its like !! Wow i remember when you were in 4th grade and now you’re in 7th grade im so proud of you sakura 🥹
Momo (new mascot to make marketable plushie off of)
(Anime only) MEILING COMEBACK ‼️
THE SYAOSAKU SONG HOSHI NO TEGAMI 😭😭😭😭😭 BEST SONG EVERRRR WTF SYAORANS SINGING VOICE IS SO!:?:)/$/? THEYRE SUCH A GOOD DUET
SYAOSAKU DATING. Btw. Theyre a couple. Theyre dating and theyre in love.
Cons:
KAITO.
New characters who happen to be mediocre
Akiho is literally just a carbon copy of sakura who is just sad (they refused to touch on the different aspects of her like reading books, singing and from kong kong only very rarely)
Kaito fucking sucks literally worst ccs of all time and THATS A LOT saying theres literal PEDOS in the fucking show but theyre all background characters but they can also piss off
Tbf i got confused along the way
Too many plot holes
Syaosaku angst
Syaosaku couldnt touch for a while 😔
Anyway why did yelan do that (referring to point above)
Some shit does not make sense
Tsubasa/xxxholic references (this is for you oomf)
Syaoran???? Is part of the “im keeping things from sakura” gang???? And it sucks so bad (yes it got resolved in the later half BUT IT STILL SUCKED)
TOO MANY THINGS KEPT FROM SAKURA JUST TELL HER DAMN
pushes most characters from the og manga aside to focus on akiho and that man 🙄🙄🙄
Clamp forces us to care about them but in reality we really do not gaf
(In reference to point above) Clamp sees that and pushes the nostalgia tactics/references sometimes and its lowkey tiring
The part where the syao/saku/tomo were reminiscing that fuck ass teacher made me ill i genuinely wanted to kms
Still hasnt gotten rid of their p*do ass shit thanks clamp very cool (sarcasm)
Did i mention that the og characters were pushed back? Because they really were
Akiho felt more of the main character of this story instead of sakura
Tbh not much happened in the entirety of this manga ESPECIALLY considering time shenanigans
Im still mad that syaoran hid stuff from sakura tbh
HOW CAN I FORGET THE UGLY ASS “YUNAAKI IS SIMILAR TO SYAOSAKU” PARALLELS AND HOW BADLY IT PISSES ME OFF
syaosaku dont look but theres an ugly bitch trying to be like you (yunaaki)
Yunaaki becoming borderline canon despite it being a toxic and p*dophilic ship
Kaito still exists in this fucking story and got a somewhat happy ending (befriending syaoran dont piss me the fuck off)
COMPARING KAITO TO SYAORAN KYS @ CLAMP
Kero/tomoyo/yue/nakuru/spinnel basically everyone magically involved is pushed back basically useless until the final act (i think i mentioned the character pushback before)
Still major plotholes
Yamazaki tells the truth now
Touya got whitewashed
Akiho still has too many similarities to sakura it still pisses me off. Why cant they make her her own character
My girl sakura developed anxiety
MY BOY SYAORAN DEVELOPED DEPRESSION
angsty ass middle schoolers
Didnt like the scene where sakuras grandad was basically throwing shade at syaoran comparing his romance with sakura to … sakura’s fuckass dad grooming her mom. What
Syaoran calmed down a bit i miss when he was chaotic af but whatever #middleschoolerthings
Season 2 is taking forever to release good lord

Wotd Count: 2160
Requested: @supernerdycookietrashblr
Request: may I request a Bakugou x reader where reader based on jinx from arcane has similar abilities as her. Like maybe in past like middle school Bakugou used to bully her badly to point she called her mean rude names a jinx kinda reader felt worthless and had breakdowns kinda similar the episode of arcane since I kinda inspired by that maybe she went missing and later becomes psychotic villain that bakugou made her to be and Bakugou regrets his actions and tries to reason with her but she too far gone I hope this makes sense I kinda love jinx charcter Aslo if ok to add those like inner thought that jinx (has like scribbles idk how to describe it in the show ) has from her trauma like for reader when she those moments due to bakugou tramua her Sorry if this seem too much if unable to do it understand I just hope this makes sense
Aslo I love jinx sm so yeah fill free to dm me ask questions
Warning: Death of parents, overall craziness, bombs, Bakugo being an ass
I hope that I did this justice because I do think that this is a really cool idea and I enjoyed writing it.

The first time that you could remember being called a Clutz when you were 5 years old, you were running down the hall when you crashed into an ash blonde kid with sharp features and a tongue to match. He was the one who started the name “Why are you such a Clutz?” He asked with a smirk plastered on his face but then that was when you met your first friend Izuku Midoriya, the cute little broccoli haired kid that helped you off the floor and helped you clean your hands.
Izuku become your only friend but he was a small drop in a large ocean, especially when Bakugo had a following like that of a pro hero, even Izuku chased after him with offerings in hope of acceptance while you tried for a couple of months he never appreciated the little trinkets.
While your parents loved you, they weren’t the best people, they were villains but their suit leant to keeping the identities a secret so after having you they retired hiding away from the life that they lived before. Unfortunately they couldn’t hide from it for very long and before they knew it All For One had found them and proposed a partnership and they refused so you came home to your house burned to the ground. That was where everything started to go downhill. You weren’t in school for about a week while they settled you in your new home but when you went back nothing had changed in fact it only seemed to have gotten worse with everyone getting older and stronger, you had no quirk and no family you were weaker than you had been.
You spent most of your time sketching creations that you wanted to make, “woah what’s that?” Izuku asked as he looked over your shoulder “oh sorry I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable I just think it’s really cool and-” “It’s okay Zuku.” You smiled. “I was just thinking about different ways to-” “Rip off other people’s quirks?” Came the harsh voice that you had learned to hate. “What are you up to Copycat?” “Nothing.” You answered voice low as you stuffed your papers into your bag but he grabbed one before you could and unfortunately for you, it happened to be the one that would mimic his. “Did you think that you’d ever be able to handle my quirk?” Bakugo asked as he leaned over you. “I don’t want your quirk.” You argued. “Why is yours better?” He asked. “Kacchan.” Izuku warned. “Oh wait, you and this loser don’t have quirks.” He smirked down at you as he burned the work that you had done. “Just do us all a favor and follow your parents into an early grave.”
The next years of middle school Bakugo chose you as an easy target and you tried your hardest to hide, you spent all your time tinkering away in your room but nothing that you made ever worked. The real problem came when Izuku developed a quirk, one day he was there and the next he was gone. “Izuku!” You yelled when you saw him doing what looked like some crazy training routine. “(Y/N)!?” He seemed shocked and you smiled as you walked over dragging a large scrape metal piece behind you. “What are you doing here?” “I was just looking for some stuff.” You answered, showing him the metal. “What are you doing?” “I’m training, I’m going to take the UA entrance exam.” He answered. “You have a quirk?” You asked. “He’s stronger.” You were sure that was your Mum’s voice, as a loud incessant buzzing sound in your head like static as if they were talking to you through a radio. “I was a late bloomer.” He answered, scratching the back of his head. “He’s lying, look behind him.” Your Dad, your eyes moved to the man standing a few feet away watching you talk. “So your leaving too?” You asked. “Leaving? No! You should come to UA to.” He argued. “I don’t have a quirk Deku remember?” You asked. “Copycat, remember?” “(Y/N)?” He asked softly as you turned away from him. “You don’t need him.” Your Mum said, your head turned in the direction of the voice that you heard. “I don’t need him.” You mumbled to yourself as you continued to drag the metal behind you. “Prove it, get rid of him.” Your father goaded you and you glanced behind you but they were both gone.
You made your way home but when you got there “(Y/N) there you are.” Yuki breathed as you walked into the house, she was one of your foster parents but you could tell something was wrong. “Stay on guard.” Your Dad warned. “There’s someone here to see you.” She said as she led you into the living room where there was a man sitting, he had a green jacket on, latex gloves on his hands, sharp brown eyes. “Your son will be delivered back to you.” He waved them off as he walked over to you and stood in front of you. “Who are you?” You asked. “An old friend of your parents.” He answered, the moment that he spoke to you the loud noise stopped. “I hear that you like to build things.” “They never work.” You answered and he smiled. “That’s because you don’t have the right material, come with me and I promise everything that you need will be provided for you.” He answered, you looked at the people who had been looking after you and it was in the moment that you realized that no one in your life was around because they wanted to be, they all just felt sorry for you. That was the day that you disappeared.
A few days later the police showed up at UA asking to talk to Bakugo and Midoriya. “Do you two remember this girl?” They asked, they both looked at the picture and nodded. “Have either of you seen him recently?” He asked. “The last time I saw that Copycat was on the last day of school.” Bakugo answered. “Mmm we heard that you didn’t get along.” The police officer said. “Is there a problem with that?” Bakugo asked. “Well he’s gone missing, his foster parents reported him missing a few days ago, you two are the only people in the class that remember him.” The officer explained. “Missing?” Izuku asked. “I saw him a couple of days ago, I was training for the test here, he was angry at me I think.” “Angry?” The officer asked. “he didn’t have a quirk so I guess he felt like he didn’t belong here, I always thought that he could be in the support class though.” Izuku explained. “Well you're wrong, he never would have fit in here.” Bakugo cut in. “Do either of you know where he might have gone?” The officer asked. “No.” Both of them answered one sounding more regretful than the other.
Years past before either of them saw you again, they were both established pro heroes. At first they were just hearing of someone building quirk replicating equipment for villains, but then a name was added to the action, the person had apparently called themselves Copycat and finally there was a picture given to all heroes after you had been seen doing a deal and there was no doubting it, the one that they were looking for was you.
“Hey you okay?” The low level thug clicked his fingers in front of your face, the jarring noise causing an explosive banging in the side of your head. “Stop that and give me my money before I put a bullet between your eyes.” You ordered and he frowned. “Yeah whatever.” He muttered as he slid the case towards you, you opened it and quickly checked the money before nodding to yourself and throwing him the grenades. “Woah what the hell are you doing!?” “Try not to kill yourself, they’re about as explosive as the pro heroes personality.” You informed him hopped out of the window of the abandoned building and disappeared down the alley. “How does this help you!?” Your mother asked as you rolled your eyes, slamming the gate behind you and hoping to shut up the voice in your head. “He’ll come to me soon enough.” You mumbled as you opened the door to your hidden workshop. “And if he doesn’t?” She asked. “Then I’ll take the fight to them.” You answered. It only took a few more dealing in the open to draw the heroes attention but the first person to find you was not who you were looking for.
“Shoto right?” You asked. “Former No.1’s son?” “Correct.” He answered and you sighed. “Well you're not who I’m looking for.” You shrugged as you pointed the gun at him “care to have a little fun.” You shot and his teeth gritted as your bullet hit him through his fire. “Hurts doesn't it? Last person that I tried it on said the same thing.” “You hurt people a lot, Copycat?” The smirk that stretched over your face at the voice you heard was nothing short of deranged. “Only the ones that hurt me first.” You answered as you swung around throwing a knife at him before disappearing from view. “Where’d he go Icyhot?” He asked. “This is your chance to kill him now!” Your Dad’s voice urged you on. “Dynamite… Did you know the nitroglycerin that your body produces gives off poisonous fumes?” You asked as you fitted the mask to your face, he glared at you as you sat on the scaffolding platform. “There’s no windows in here so if I drop this and it doesn’t explode, you’ll suffocate to death doesn’t that sound fun.” “What the hell do you want?” He asked. “Me? I want you to understand what you did.” You answered. “I remember there was a time when I would have done anything for you but you laughed in my face and it wasn’t good enough when I stayed away from you and that wasn’t good enough.” “He’s not the same person that he was before.” Shoto said. “Stay out of this Icyhot!” Bakugo warned him. “That's good because I’m not the same person either.” You shrugged, dropping the glass vial on the floor. “You know what Bakugo?” You continued when he didn’t answer you “you really did grow up handsome. Shame good looks were wasted on a terrible personality.” Before you could say anything else there was a loud crash that caused you to stumble back out of view as bright red flashed across your vision. “Kacchan is he here?” You recognised that voice. “Bet your best friends now that you're both pro heroes.” You glared at them both. “(Y/N) please, we’re still friends, we can still be friends.” Izuku said softly, “you just have to come with me so we can figure this out.” “Don’t trust him.” You Dad warned. “He was your best friend, he wouldn’t lie to you.” Your Mum answered. “Shut up! You mean lock me in a cell in tartarus and throw away the key.” You glared at them. “(Y/N)-” They were cut off by what sounded like a loud explosion, your eyes moved to the direction that it came from as you laughed. “Looks like civilians need your help, what will you do with no hero association?” You asked, Bakugo made a noise of disapproval but was the first to leave, Shoto following after him before finally Izuku left.
After the rescue was complete the three top heroes gathered together “You both know him?” Shoto asked. “He was an old friend, he didn’t have a quirk so he was bullied a lot, looks like he fell in with the wrong crowd when he went missing.” Izuku answered as Bakugo looked up in the direction that they had come from. “I don’t think that we can save him.” Bakugo finally said. “Who’s fault is that?” Deku asked. “I get it Deku, I messed up big time when we were younger. It's my fault and it’s my problem to fix! If I could do things differently I would but I don’t think that there’s anything left to save.” Bakugo answered. “he needs help, if you don’t understand that then you still don’t understand what you did to him.” Deku glared at him. “I know what he needs Deku! I’ve never been able to fix anything that I’ve broken, he is no different, I want to help him change what I’ve done, I know I was a horrible kid and I’ve been trying to make up for it since I became a pro hero.” Bakugo answered. “Then be a hero and save him.” Deku glared at him before walking away. Bakugo watched him leave before walking away, worried about any future altercations with you.

tristamp ep 10 thoughts
zazie is info dumping again
idk if the orange writers think this makes sense, or maybe its wrong of me to use irl logic, but vegetation would not replace a magical resource that gives u water, electricity, etc., i think at best the air would get better lol
i dont know why conrad is info dumping either lmao
i cant say i like july's generic cyberpunk vibe. ik i saw a lot of ppl after tristamp wonder how anyone can even build anything in this world, and then tristamp does this with july lol
vash's sneeze was funny to me
vash is spider-man now fhdfjdsfds??? his flimsy little arm looks like it wouldve broke w 2 ppl
i just think its crazy they have a character finally say smth significant to vash and its another faceless goon
vash does not fucking respond to anything in this series
and that scene somehow felt like nothing
conrad's operation room has got some violations
and him just being like "yes, and here's where i do my experiments..." is so funny
i HATE eg mine being included. originally before any tristamp nonsense, i was like "hmm, wonder if knives shared some tech w his guns" but here eg mine apparently being associated with them... when knives just kills him. it makes no sense 😭😭
AND WASNT CONRAD JUST SHOWN TO APOLOGIZE TO KNIVES IN THE LAST EP??? in tristamp the plants arent really human (in the way that theyre probably fucking aliens or some shit 100%, not like in trimax where theyre experimented on humans to become something more, but thats how i always interpreted it), but even still why would he keep doing it lmao. "sorry, we're terrible" *keeps experimenting but in a slightly different way* ???
if he wants humans to basically become independant plants, wouldnt that be helping humanity in a way, why would knives allow that. i might be basing this on trimax's knives, but still. i think tristamp knives still hates people right? i dont think he'd be like "oh, so you're a plant now? sure, thats fine, whatever."
roberto adding to the inexplicable Perception, too, i see
i think it kinda sucks that tristamp kinda connects all the antagonists? EoM and Knives' gang. i think Livio and Chapel indirectly work for knives, but through Legato's commands, but they dont really have a shared goal? while in tristamp it feels direct... if that makes sense, idk
ww is still an asshole :(
vash's body looks weird. does meat look like that?? is that normal?? and wtf is the random lines and shit. i feel like im watching cyberpunk edgerunners
not to be one of those ppl who blame everything on the mcu, but why tf is this scene so dark. cant see shit
vash's scars revelation here is also just strange in general. in the manga it was a good early prompt into vash's issues, meryl & milly see and meryl insists he should retire from his life, and vash says he cant bc of his bro, but vash is also a pacifist so thats his price, this moves milly and meryl. while here its just... idk. feels random, and another excuse for tsundere ww to call out passive vash
conrad being fucking mad scientist AGAIN is so funny. he looks like he turned evil here. yesterday i had a post cooking up abt him and knives' relationship, but this just feels funny. how is knives allowing him to live here, even if its with the humans
cocoon knives back at the piano
tree. who knows if it means anything or if its like the previous imagery used so far
some cute elf bitches
expecting me to believe knives would willingly help him experiment on anything is just... knives i think is a hiuge hypocrite, judgemental, and reactive and those are flaws i like about his character, i dont think he'd allow this LMAO
are they gonna kill vash
is conrad transphobic here or is elendira's gender changed? and was she like. fake napping just to wake up to be like "um, who are you calling poor" and attack or fjsdhsjds
i dont even get what theyre pushing. tristamp LOVES having characters throw "monster" around, but then also elendira is attacking while saying they judge her. what theme is being pushed lol. and why is she even attacking
i forgot to say, but i hate what they did to elendira, btw.
ROBERTO IS NOW DYIGN FHSDJSKKJDS no one saw him injured... vash just waved their asses off fshdjsas???
i think her expressions are good there
i cannot say how much i disagree with wolfwood's initial ideals being overlayed with meryl's apparent newfound determination in response to her senior dying. ww's "you need to kill to survive" is his own lie to himself to cope with being a child soldier, called out by vash in the beginning of trimax and serves as character development he moves on from. having meryl take that as a lesson is incredibly strange. i strongly disagree with that take. her just going to a shooting range and maybe learning the basics would arguably be more significant for her lmao
tristamp just does not do a good job w vashwood's relationship. at all. if i just saw this i'd roll my eyes at shippers. theres nothing there
why did knives ask why he's there. isnt ww implied at least to have brought him there on orders from him
where are zazie and legato btw
did conrad just fucking leave to his office lmao. "oh no the people i was info dumping to are getting attacked by elendira! ...eh"
is that tesla??
whys his knife got an eyeball. whose is it
CONRAD IS BEGGING FOR FORGIVENESS AGAIN IN THIS SCENE. DOES KNIVES KNOW ABOUT TESLA?? HOW IS CONRAD STILL DOING THIS FJHSDJDS
tristamp loves just throwing around aspects of catholicism without actually... fitting it in. like they just use it when its convenient, eps having antagonists preach it
the piano activated floor trap is funny
idk what knives could be referring to, so we'll see i guess

hey!! i love your writing sm💕 idk if you’re still taking requests or if you’re comfortable w a like platonic or father figure yandere. But how about yan! Steve Rogers where he kidnaps a teenage girl to be his daughter then shields her from the world to “protect” her kinda like rapunzel. if you don’t want to that’s no problem at all tho💕
Hi, sweetie! This is a very peculiar request, and I really, really like it! I guess I’ve made Steve a little softer than I expected, but here he is. Hope you’re going to enjoy this!
The one he cares about
Tumblr media
Pairing: adoptive dad!Steve & Reader, Peter Parker x Reader (if you squint)
Warnings: yandere, obsession (non-romantic!), stalking, kidnapping, death of minor characters (but nothing too scary).
Words: 1870.
P.S. Just to clarify this is NOT an incest story, Steve does not harbor any romantic feelings for the reader, he loves her like a parent does.

Pacing up and down nervously like a caged tiger, Steve threw a glance at the clock on the kitchen wall, ready to take out his cellphone and give you a call. It was just 10 pm, but he felt something wasn't going quite right. Was everything ok at that party? Were you enjoying yourself? Did you finally confess to that silly guy Steve didn't like at all? What if he had already got you, Steve's precious little daughter, into bed?
Breathing in deeply, the man tried calming himself down. You were an adult. At one point you would start dating people, and it was perfectly alright, Sam reminded him the other day. You weren't some princess locked in a tower with Steve guarding you like an angry dragon. You had the right to love and be loved, create your own family, for God's sake. When he thought of you leaving him Steve was ready to break that kitchen wall.
No, no, no, it was alright. You loved him with all your heart, and no stupid guy could take it away from Steve. He was your father. Adoptive father, of course, but he did everything he could to make you trust and love him as much as you true family. You were calling him dad, after all. And even if you eventually married someone, Steve would always stay close to help and support you - and your kids, if you ever decide to have any. At the thought of him kissing the cheeks of his cute little grandchildren Steve had finally relaxed.
Oh, was it the sound of the front door opening? As much as he wanted to rush to meet you, the man quickly put on his apron he ironed this morning and turned to the heated stove to put a meat pie in it. Alright, alright, you were already home, it was perfect.
But why so early? Steve was really generous this time and gave you till 1 am - of course, if you took a taxi, not go walking the streets in the night. Did something go wrong? Did the guy reject you? Did he take advantage of you? Did he... do something he shouldn't have?
Steve felt his blood boiling. In a second he was ready to storm out of the kitchen to beat the shit out of that bastard who was stupid enough to hurt his child.
"Hi dad! I'm home!"
As you walked in, carrying your beaded clutch in your arms and yawning tiredly, Steve put a smile on his face momentarily, assessing whether you were hurt within a couple of seconds. No, apparently, you were alright: you moved just like before; your hair wasn't ruffled, and your makeup wasn't smeared eather. He had overreacted again.
"Welcome back, sweet pea." Steve moved closer to you, giving you a tight hug and a kiss on the forehead as you giggled softly, throwing your arms around his broad back. "How did it go?"
As your face turned gloomy for a fleeting second, he knew his sixth sense wasn't lying to him: something didn't go well.
"Nah." You brushed it off as you sat on the chair, carelessly leaving your clutch on the table and stretching your legs with a loud sigh.
"What is it, sweetie?"
Furrowing his brows, Steve sat across from you, his hands folded as he stared at you with worry. Shit, did this guy try doing something funny? Did he offend you? Oh, Steve was going to have a nice talk with him, a moron who thought he could do this to his little girl and it would never come back at him. Should he call Natasha? Maybe Bucky? He knew they were still in town. No, no, he would take this matter in his own hands and go have a nice talk with that stupid ungrateful ba-
"It's alright, I swear." You muttered and forced a smile, drawing his attention back to you. "He just... well, just didn't return my feelings."
"Did he reject you?"
For a second Steve felt both relieved and ready to go murder that kid in a cold blood. Rejected you? The prettiest and smartest girl in the town with a heart of gold? Who did that little shit think he was, rejecting Steve's precious daughter?
But it was better than him forcing you to do something you didn't want. At least that asshole didn't do anything inappropriate to you, probably too scared to face your angry dad who could crack his skull with one hand.
"Not like reject in the full sense of the word, but... um, I feel like he was a little scared of me." Your smile turned bitter, and you leaned onto Steve, pressing your forehead into his chest as you exhaled loudly.
Well, it wouldn't be the first time it happened. Everybody around knew you were the daughter of retired Captain America, and people were treating you with such caution as if you were some time bomb, clearly unwilling to make the world's first Avenger angry. Partly, it was a good thing since no one tried messing with you. However, you were also left pretty much alone, ignored by the majority for the sake of their own well-being. Although you had found several friends, dating someone was a completely different thing: guys were running away from before you even spoke to them.
"I'm so sorry." The man said quietly, rubbing your back and gently caressing your head with his other hand. "This is my fault."
You sighed, lifting your head and looking at Steve so tenderly he suddenly felt like he was the happiest man in the world. What, weren't you upset?
"Come on, dad." His heart sped up when you called him that, and he was ready to lift you up in the air, kissing his little girl's nose. "I thought he's different, but he's just a chicken like all other guys. I'll get over him soon."
"Hard to live up to our standards, I guess." Steve smiled and pinched your nose a little, making you laugh again. "But you need to know I am really sorry, sweat pea. I swear I wouldn't stand in your way if you decided he was the right guy for you."
Actually, Steve pretty much would, but you wouldn't know about it. Happiness of his only child was the only thing that mattered to him now: what was the point of being a parent if you couldn't make your kid happy?
"It's okay, really, dad. I wouldn't change the things as they are now. When I think what could happen if you didn't see me on the street that night... uh-huh." You didn't finish the sentence, not that you needed to.
If Steve didn't find you that night desperately searching for food on the streets of New York, you'd probably be dead now.
You were born to a good family, and you spent the first 11 years of your life in a nice place, having loving parents, the roof above your head and food on the table. You were just one more happy kid among thousands of others, neither better nor worse than all of them. It all changed when your parents were killed by two robbers who had broken into your house, and soon you ended up in an orphanage - you still had nightmares about this place. You spent a year there before you escaped, choosing the streets over an orphanage. Silly you, thinking it would be better.
When Steve found you, you were 13. Dirty, always hungry, acting like a little wild animal, you were no more pitiful than any other homeless child, ignored by the majority of people, but Steve saw you. He took you with him - forcefully, of course, because you fought him like a little angry cat, frightened to the core he was going to take advantage of you like all those people pretending to help you. But he didn’t. He was the one who had truly cared.
It took him months to get you accustomed to living in a house again with someone close to you. Steve spent even more time trying to make you trust him, make you believe he was your friend, somebody you could rely on, trust, see as a parental figure. You couldn’t even name all those people he hired to help you: countless psychologists and psychiatrists; doctors and nurses of all kinds; visiting teachers and tutors. Despite liking to live alone, Steve brought so many strangers to his house it felt like living in a royal palace with tons of court attendants. All of this was for you, the only person he cared about, his little child.
When you were 15, you started calling him dad, and that was the day neither Steve nor you would ever forget: he scooped you up and kept swinging you around till your head was spinning while he laughed and shouted how much he loved you, the best daughter he could ever had.
You never knew the extent to which Steve cared about you, following you secretly when you finally agreed to leave the house - he needed to know you were safe and sound. Of course, he was always there when he supposed someone wasn’t treating you right, and he did everything he could to keep his only child happy. Unfortunately, you were lonely until Steve found a couple of good friends for you, but it was alright. You were perfectly okay now.
“I love you too, sweet pea.” He smiled, caressing your head gently. “But you know what? Don’t worry about that guy. I actually have someone who I want you to meet, and he’s a really sweet kid.”
“Whoa, what? What kid?”
“Well, you know. Kid from work.”
“Dad, what work? What kid?” You rolled your eyes at him, giggling. “How old is he, at least?”
“A little older than you, but he’s alright. He’s been wanting to meet you for some time.” But before Steve wasn’t sure kid was the right guy for you, considering that he was still very much an Avenger and was involved in all kinds of dangerous situations.
“Dad, what kid? Are you talking about your superhero colleagues or something?”
“... yeah? I promise, you’ll like him. Peter’s a good kid.”
“Peter? Peter goddamn Parker?!” You exclaimed loudly, realizing he was talking about Spider-Man. “Are you joking?!”
“What did I tell you about swearing, sweetheart?” Furrowing his brows, Steve shook his head in disapproval, but laughed in the very next second, watching your guilty expression. “Alright, alright. I’m not joking. If you’d like to meet him, I’ll ask him to come tomorrow for dinner, ok?”
“Yes, please!”
As he took the pie out of the oven with you waiting at the dinner table, Steve thought about giving the kid a big lecture about what he was and wasn’t supposed to do to you, but he was more or less sure Peter knew what was right and wrong. Steve could spot that familiar glint in kid’s eyes when he was looking at your photo that Steve had been showing him proudly.
It would turn out alright. Your father was ready to do anything it takes to make you happy.

Okay but like a fluffy eskel bit/one shot about a sweet and gentle hearth witch reader who lives in the valleys just south of Kaer Morhen who eskel visits with going to and from Mountain Pass. He brings her books and trinkets from his travels. She restocks his potions and tends to physical and emotional wounds.
Lil Bleater loves her obviously and they joke about her being their “kid” (lol goat humor).
The first time he says he loves her and it’s super sweet and emotional. And maybe he brings her a piece of jewelry that’s super sentimental. Idk I’m just in an Eskel loving mood, you know?
Pleeeeease? 🥺❤️
A/N: Babe you hit me right in my feels with this one. I hope you liked this!!
***
There was a knock at the front door that brought you out of the book in your hand.
You lifted your head, eyes finding the door to your home. You listened for a few moments, wanting to see if you could hear who it was.
Lil Bleater loudly bleated and butted her head against the side of your chair.
“I know. I’m going to get it.” You patted her head then stood to your feet.
You pulled the door open, smiling at the sight of a familiar dark haired witcher.
“Hi, doll.” Eskel smiled softly at you, though it didn’t reach his eyes. He was exhausted, dark circles made their home beneath his honey eyes.
“Hello, love.” You held your hand out. “I wasn’t expecting you for another month or so. It’s still fairly warm outside.”
“I hope that isn’t inconvenient for you.” He placed his hand in yours, brushing his thumb across your knuckles, and stepped into your home.
“You’re never inconvenient to me.” You assured him, squeezing his hand.
Before he had a chance to put down the two bags he carried, Lil Bleater was eagerly ramming into Eskel’s shins, bleating and demanding attention.
“Your daughter missed you.” You sighed, smiling softly at how her little tail flickered back and forth so quickly.
“And I missed her.” Eskel put his bags aside and knelt down to greet the goat. He rubbed her head and then down her back. “Hi, girl. Did you behave?”
“As behaved as she usually is.” You answered, moving to the kettle that hung over the fire. “She hasn’t torn apart any of my dresses when I hang them up on the line outside to dry, so that’s good.”
“Yeah.” Eskel nodded, standing back to his full height. “I still owe you for that.” He thought out loud, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly.
“Oh, no worries.” You shook your head, peeking up at him through your lashes. “I’m sure I can think of other ways you could repay me.”
His neck and ears flushed red.
“Let me get this tea started and then I will properly greet you.” You poured the steaming hot water into two mugs and then added the tea leaves.
You rubbed your hands together and moved around the table.
Eskel embraced you tightly, arms wrapping around you and pulling you into his body. He tucked his nose into your hair, freezing as he relished in your warm touch.
“I missed you.” You told him, your hand rubbing his side.
“Missed you too.” He exhaled steadily, then kissed the top of your head as he released you. You lifted your head from his chest so that you could look at him. His hand cupped the side of your face, the rough pad of his thumb brushing across your cheek. “I decided to come this way early. Wanted to spend a little extra time with you this time. One week isn’t enough.”
“I’m more than happy to have you.” You turned your head to kiss his palm. “Why don’t you go to the creek around back? Clean up a little and get out of this armor?”
“Are you saying I smell?” He grinned a little.
“No.” You laughed softly. “I just won’t make good company while I’m trying to get dinner ready for us. And you don’t need to be in this armor any longer.”
He nodded, looking down at Lil Bleater, who was curiously nosing through one of his bags.
“I’ll put my bags in the other room.” Eskel dipped his head down to kiss your nose. “Don’t want either of you taking a peek at the things I’ve got for you.”
“I would never.” You shook your head, though the grin on your lips gave away that you were lying.
Though you insisted that Eskel didn’t need to bring you anything back from his journey across the Continent during the warm months of the year, he still did. It had always been that way since you first met. You were always excited to see what he brought for you. Last year, it had been a few books on herbalism and alchemy and a few gemstones.
“Yeah, I’ve heard that one before.” He chuckled. He moved away from you to pick up his bags and take them into your bedroom.
Lil Bleater followed him, her hooves beating against the wooden floorboards as she demanded attention.
“I’ll take her with me.” Eskel told you as he headed for the front door. Tucked underneath one arm were a few articles of clothing, something more comfortable than his armor, no doubt.
“Please do. She’ll tear my door down trying to get to you.” You moved into the kitchen to prepare dinner.
You watched Eskel and Lil Bleater leave, a little smile coming to your lips.
To say you were happy would be an understatement. You were overjoyed, thrilled even. Usually, Eskel only spent two weeks with you a year. Once at the beginning of spring just as he left Kaer Morhen. It was then that he would drop Lil Bleater off to you for you to watch her while he was on the Path, and you would refill his potions. And once again at the end of the warm season before he retired to the keep for the winter. He’d leave you a list of the potions and elixirs he needed that way you’d have all winter to ensure they were refilled correctly. He always insisted you didn’t have to do it, but you were more stubborn than him. You wanted to help him and you refused to take his coin when he tried to pay you. Sometimes, he’d sneak down from Kaer Morhen during the winter to see you. You’d known him for what felt like centuries, but it had only been six years. The relationship you had with him shouldn’t have been so strong.
You knew it was silly to wait so eagerly for a man. However, you were willing to wait for him no matter how long he would be gone. You adored the witcher and admired him. He was a gentle soul scarred by a harsh lifestyle he had no say in.
You knew neither of your lifestyles would allow for the ‘perfect’ life with a family.
You had been a mage at one point in time, advisor to the Temerian royal family. You’d given up the political life a century ago to move to Kaedwen. You settled in the valley beneath the Blue Mountains which Kaer Morhen was nestled into. There, you became known to a village an hour or so away. The humans who lived there would travel to you seeking herbal remedies when one of their own were sick or when their village seemed to be plagued by famine or drought.
And Eskel was a witcher. With his lifestyle alone, a family wouldn’t be possible. He was meant to be in one place for too long.
The way things worked between you two now would be the only way you could be together. You couldn’t abandon your home to follow Eskel around the Continent, and he wouldn’t want you to.
You were content with the life you had.
You were pulled from your thoughts when the front door opened.
Eskel walked in, now in a pair of black trousers and a dark red tunic that wasn’t laced up all the way at the chest.
He smiled at you and you returned the gesture.
“Have I ever told you how much I love that color on you?” You asked him, returning your gaze to the bread you were kneading.
“I think you’ve mentioned it about every time I wear this.” He nodded his head.
Your eyes flickered up briefly to catch sight of him. There was a dark spot you hadn’t noticed before, a bruise on his chest no longer covered by armor. It was where the material dipped down into a V and the laces weren’t pulled together.
“Eskel, what’s that?” You asked him, stepping away from the bread and wiping your hands off.
His eyes followed your gaze.
“Oh. Just a bruise.”
“It looks terrible, Eskel.” You pushed the material of his shirt to the side so you could get a better look. “Eskel.” You murmured his name.
The bruise was dark blue and angry, more than likely fresh since it had yet to turn yellow and heal.
“When did this happen?”
“Early this morning. There was a fiend.” He took your hand from his chest. “It’ll be okay.”
“Shouldn’t it start healing by now?” You furrowed your brows together, looking up at him.
“It kicked me pretty hard, but it’ll be okay. Should be gone by tomorrow night.”
You frowned, looking back down at the mark.
Eskel wouldn’t let you linger on his injury. He took ahold of your chin and tilted your head up, leaning down to steal a kiss from you.
“Don’t worry about it.”
“It’s hard not to worry.” You sighed, leaning into him for a few heartbeats. “I never know where you’re at or what’s happening to you.”
“I’m sorry.” He apologized quietly, dipping his head down to rest his lips on your forehead.
***
He stayed in the kitchen while you made dinner, keeping you company and telling you little stories from his time on the Path this year.
After you both ate, he helped you clean up the kitchen so that he could give you the gifts he brought this time.
He carried a couple different sachets and sat down next to you at the table.
“I got these from Vengerberg.” He passed you a little dark red sachet. “There’s a little shop there that sells a lot of cute little stones and rocks. These ones made me think of you.”
You opened the sachet and carefully poured the contents out onto the table. There was a bright yellow and orange tumbled stone, a deep blue raw stone, and a light purple raw stone.
“Eskel, they’re beautiful.” You picked them up to hold them in your hands.
“Do you want to know why I picked those ones?” He smiled, happy that you liked your gift.
“Yes! Tell me.”
“Purple is your favorite color, isn’t it?”
You nodded, looking up at him to watch him while he spoke.
“The orange and yellow one reminded me of when the leaves turn. That’s when I finally get to come see you.” His voice lowered to a quiet murmur. “And when I first met you, you wore a dark blue dress. It was my favorite dress on you.”
“Eskel, that’s so sweet.” You leaned forward to hug him tightly, wrapping your arms around his shoulders. “Thank you.”
He hugged you back, squeezing you tightly, and then leaned back in his chair as you examined the stones in your hand.
“There’s something else.” Eskel picked up the second sachet made of dark blue velvet.
You put the stones back into the red sachet and took the blue one from him. You opened it up and poured what was inside on to your hand.
It was a thin gold chain with a little rose quartz pendant.
“Oh, Eskel. It’s beautiful!” You brushed your thumb along the stone.
“It’s a rose quartz. But you-I’m sure you knew that.” He chuckled nervously, rubbing his hands along the tops of his thighs. “Rose quartz is the stone of love.”
Your eyes met his, lips parting as your breath caught in your throat.
“Because I-I love you, Y/N.” He whispered, bringing his eyes down to his hands. “I just…. I needed to tell you that. I need you to know.”
“Eskel.” You smiled at him, putting the necklace down for a second so you could hold his hands. “My love, I’ve known it for a while. You show it with your actions, with returning to me when you can. When you smile at me. And your eyes, they’re so soft and gentle. You don’t need to be so nervous about it.”
“I just…. I wasn’t sure how you’d react. Didn’t want to scare you away.”
“You could never scare me away.” You stood up. He did the same after you tugged gently on his hands. “I love you.”
You wrapped your arms over his shoulders, pulling him down to you. His arms slipped around your waist. He tucked his nose into your shoulder, letting out a soft breath.
“I love you.” He whispered, turning his head to kiss your neck.
“I love you.” You repeated, your hand coming up to the back of his head.

Long time no see
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4
A/N: I feel like this is very dialogue heavy and I don’t know how to write good dialogue. I wrote a different begining, but I forgot to save it and the whole browser refreshed and I lost everything. So I don’t like this begining as much. I don’t know if this is any good. I know that in some of these conversations spanish would’ve been used, but I don’t speak spanish and I didn’t want to use google translate. There are lots of smiles, chuckles and sips, I guess that’s just how I roll as an awkward person. I apologise for any mistakes. I hope it’s at least a little bit enjoyable.
Summary: OC and Javier go to Laredo. Not very surprisingly Javier’s family wants to see him, the hero they all love and miss. Little do they know that he doesn’t feel like a hero at all while she knows.
Pairing: Javier Peña x OC (I guess? But it can also be an insert. Seems somewhere in the middle for me. idk..)
Genre: fluff, angst
Warnings: mentions of death, explosion, survivors guilt, crying
————————————
The flight wasn’t that long, but for someone who gets motion sickness it seemed to last for an eternity. That’s one of the reasons she hated flying.
“You ok?” Javier asked looking a bit concerned when the plane landed. He knew about her motion sickness, but still, seeing someone unwell made him feel uneasy.
“Yeah, I’m fine” she said as she tried to take a sip of water. Her hands were shaking a little bit. It’d be great if this sensation would disappear the moment the plane touches the ground. But it lingers for a bit, making the day a little bit more difficult to get through. A part of her thought that this sensation got worse when she was in a bad mood, so she tried to be positive. “It went better than I though it would”
“Ok, let’s just get off this damn plane”
————————————
When they exited the airport Javier’s dad was already waiting for them.
“Hey pops. How ya been?” Javier said as he dropped his bag and went in for a hug.
“Oh my boy. I’m good, I’m good” Javier’s dad chuckled a little bit and gave a few pats on Javier’s back.
She admired this interaction from a bit further away. She knew that even though Javi wasn’t the most open when it came to feelings and emotions or affection, he had a good relationship with his dad as it was proven by this sweet moment.
“And this must be your friend” Javier’s dad said looking at her.
“Ah...yes. It’s really great to see you again Mr. Peña” she reached out her hand.
“Sweatheart, you can call me Chucho.” he shook her hand. “I haven’t seen you since the day you both graduated from the academy. It’s good to see that Javier still keeps in touch with his friends from those days. You know, he talks about you”
“Come on dad” Javier said while slightly rubbing his forehead with a small smile on his face.
“Right” Chucho chuckled “let’s get going” he said and started walking to his car “we’ll chat on the way back’
She felt a little bit flustered. Sure she mentioned her friends to her mom. Especially since she and Javier were not only friends from the academy, but also trainee partners. So he once was quite a big part of her life. But the thought of Javier talking about her made her wonder in what light.
“You need a hand with your suitcase?” Javier asked snapping her out of the thoughts.
“No, I’m fine” she smiled, started rolling her suitcase and walked to Chucho’s car.
“Here, let me help you” Javier said as she was about lift the suitcase up.
“It’s really o-” she didn’t even finish as he picked up her suitcase and loaded it into the trunk. “Thanks”
‘Yeah no problem” Javi said as he put his bag into the trunk and then gestured for her to get in the car. “Don’t you want to sit in the front?” he asked just as she was about to open the back door “I mean, I thought after the flight the motion sickness must be pretty bad still”
“Oh it’s fine. I’ll manage” she smiled again and thought about how many times she’s felt fine today.
He looked at her, not really believing her, but letting her be for now.
————————————
"You know, some of your aunts will want to see. They planned a little get together for tomorrow" Chucho started the conversation after quite some time of silence from the three of them, with only the radio playing in the background.
"Where at?" Javier asked with something weighing on his mind.
She figured he didn't really want this get together.
"At home. It's nothing big. And I hope our friend will join us too" Chucho said glancing at her from the rear-view mirror with a warm smile. "I already told everyone Javi's bringing over a friend"
"Oh, well then I'll gladly join you" she assured him.
Javier too glanced at her smiling a little bit.
The drive was longer than it usually would have been. Javier’s dad took some detours to show her a bit more of the town. She appreciated it. It was cute how he would throw in some fun facts about Javier along the way. Chuco showed her the school that Javi went to, the diner where he went on his first date. He also talked about Javi’s early childhood crushes, but Javier cut him off with blushing cheeks. It was a nice moment and she felt a little bit closer to Javier.
Chucho suggested stopping to watch the sunset as it was the golden hour and everything was swimming in the warm light, but after some discussion they decided that they’ve had enough to take in for the day.
————————————
She was settling in the room she was given. She still felt a bit uncomfortable with the fact that she was taking up space, even though Javier and Chucho both said that it’s ok and fine and that she was very much welcome here.
She went to open a window, to let some fresh air in, and looked out to the backyard. It was very pretty. She remembered how Javier once mentioned his mother’s flower garden and here she was looking at it. Chucho didn’t seem like a huge gardener, but who knows, maybe he got some help to keep his wife’s legacy going. She was admiring the flowers bathing in the sunset when she heard a soft knock. She turned around and saw Javier.
“Hey, how you doing? Everything ok?” he asked leaning a bit on the the door frame.
“I’m good” finally she was something more than just fine “I was just enjoying the flowers. They’re very beautiful”
Javier smiled admiring the way she looked in the soft rays of the sunset.
“Do you wanna grab something to eat?” finally he asked after catching himeslf staring.
She nodded and they both went downstairs. They had a lovely dinner with Chucho, chatting away about various topics, and once again Javier’s childhood stories finding their way into the conversation and being painfully taken in (by blushing and slight laughter and small smiles) by Javier himself, They were talking for quite some time, before Chucho decided to retire for the night, leaving her and Javier at the kitchen table.
“Your dad’s really sweet” she said before taking a sip of her drink “and a good story teller”
“Sure he is” Javier sat back and smiled “when he wants to embarrass me”
“Oh how’s that embarrassing? I thought all of those stories were lovely and cute”
“Yeah especially the one with neighbour’s dog”
They both looked at each other and burst out laughing. They settled down after a few laughing bursts. It was a calming silence. Javi had missed such silence. With no pressure, no fear. She always seemed to make it comfortable. She always made everything a little bit better than it actually was. He had a few partners through out his carreer. He felt like Steve and her were the closest ones he’s had. But she was his first partner. Even though they were trainees back theb. They were just starting work straight out of the academy and she was right there alongside him. ‘Through thick and thin’ Javier thought to himself.
“Well we should clean up” she said and picked up both of their plates bringing Javier back to the moment.
“Oh you don’t need to do that. Let me wash the dishes”
“It’s fine. It’s the least I can do. Are you looking forward to tomorrow?” she asked feeling a bit (once again) out of place. It was supposed to be a family gathering and she felt like she was going to be an intruder. Besides Javier and his dad she knew no one. She didn’t want to leech on on any of them, yet she didn’t want to awkwardly hang around.
“Oh... It’s inevitable at this point” he sighed “it’ll be fine” he said as if he sensed her thoughts.
She looked at him and smiled.
“We better go to bed, huh” she looked at the clock “since tomorrow’s gonna be a big day”
“Yeah we should” Javier agreed and they both went up the stairs. “Everything ok, you don’t need anything?” he asked her when they reached her room.
“Yeah, everything’s good”
“Well if you need anything, my room is right next to yours”
“Ok. Goodnight, Javi” she patted his arm which sent chills down his spine.
“Goodnight” he walked to the door of his room and looked back at her’s. Various thoughts rushed through his mind, but he only shook his head and entered his own room.
————————————
She couldn’t really sleep. Something was bothering her. The new surroundings? The events of the day? Sure they had a part in all of this, but it was something else. Everything seemed like a distraction from the things she was actually feeling. ‘But this is supposed to be a distraction, right?’ she thought to herself. Everything seems different during the day, but when the night comes and there are no more distractions, all of the demons come out to play. Should she even call these things demons? Then again, who’s gonna tell her not to if they bother her...
The demons are one thing, but Javi... now that’s another thing. She had forgotten how good she feels when they’re together. A laugh, a smile and the whole world seems a bit brighter with him around. She didn’t even realise that she was smiling thinking about him.
She remembered what was waiting for her tomorrow. A big unknown. She’d had plenty of briefings and meetings with various important people at work and she didn’t feel this nervous. At about 3am she came to the conclusion that whatever happens, happens. It’s better to get some sleep instead, since it seems like it’s going to be another long day.
————————————
She woke up at 8 am. Somehow she felt refreshed even after all that inner turmoil. She started getting ready. Chucho said everyone would gather up at about 11am so she was right on track. She thought she’d skip breakfast, since the nerves were once again showing their presence, and wait around for lunch. She looked through the clothes she had brought. ‘What does one even wear to a family lunch like this?’ Her family never did such things, there were never any get togethers apart from funerals and weddings. Since she didn’t have much to choose from she picked black jeans, a moss green button up and black trainers. She also put on a charm necklace. She looked at herself in the mirror. ‘Something’s missing’ she thought. And then she remembered. She looked through the jewelry she had brought with her and found the watch. Javi’s watch. She thought it’d be somewhat sentimental bringing it here. She put on the watch and was heading out of the room. The second she opened the door she bumped into Javi.
“Oh sorry. I was just coming to get you”
“Get me? For what? I thought everyone was gonna come at eleven”
“There’s no punctuality in this family” he smiled “everyone’s here already. Besides, I’m not letting you go out there alone”
All the nerves increased, since she thought she’d have more time to mentally get ready for this. But everyone was already here, which also meant that they were waiting for Javi to come back. He was the one they wanted to see after a long time, not her. But it was sweet of him to get her and ease her worries.
“Ok, let’s go” she laughed nervously.
There were actually more people than she thought there would be. She figured it wasn’t only his aunts that were here, but his uncles, cousins and their children too. There were tables set out outside, in the backyard, and there was a lot of food. Everyone had most likely brought something to contribute.
Javi introduced her to his aunts since they were the most eager to meet her. When they heard Javi was bringing over a friend, they thought it would be, well, a man. Instead they saw a woman walking next to Javi and immediately thought that this was more than a friend and that Chucho mixed something up telling them the information. They started asking questions about the “relationship”, how long they’ve been together, when’s the wedding and are there any children in their plans. All of these questions smacked both her and Javi in the face as they came out one after the other, not giving them a moment to answer anything. They both seemed flustered and they both explained that they’re just friends. The aunts were visibly upset at first but got over it pretty quickly.
Javi then tried to introduce her to his other relatives one by one, but after a while she lost Javier to some of the children as they wanted his attention and wandered off to maybe strike up a conversation with any of his other relatives on her own.
The gathering actually lasted the whole day. Some people left earlier than others, but the sun had already set and there still were people there. She helped cleaning up along the way with the other women and saw some of them off.
Javi saw the last of the guests off and walked back into the kitchen where his dad was putting away leftovers.
“What a day” Javi said grabbing a beer.
“Sure was”
“Can you believe aunties thought we were a couple” Javi laughed and took a sip.
“Can’t blame them. Wouldn’t it be nice?” Chucho looked at Javier. They stared at each other for a bit. “She’s all grown up now. She’s a nice girl, Javi”
“She is” he twisted the bottle in his hands.
“Then why don’t you do something about it, son” Chucho said calmly.
Javier looked at the ground. You could actually see the gears turning in his head.
“Where is she?” he finally asked.
“She’s outside” Chucho gestured to the backyard “she helped clean up and said she was going to get some fresh air”
Javier walked outside, hands a bit clamy. He saw that she was sitting on the swingset. He walked over.
“Hey” he said with a soft smile.
“Hey you too” she said and scooched over.
He sat next to her. They were making the swing sway a little bit.
“How... was today?” finally he broke the silence.
“It was good. Your cousin James is really... quite the charmer”
Javier chuckled.
“I saw you both talking” he did see them and he didn’t really like the way he was getting so close to her “did he show you pictures of his car or at least talk about his car?”
“Yeah, he did, a lot actually”
“That means he was hitting on you”
She looked at him smiling.
“What?” she giggled.
“Yeah, he’s got his own style. Doesn’t get him very far, but he still does it” he chuckled too.
They both sat in the silence for a bit, but she was the one to break it this time.
“How did you feel today? Back at home, surrounded by family”
“I guess it’s nice seeing everyone again, but...” he didn’t finish.
“You don’t like the attention” she did it for him.
“Yeah”
“They consider you a hero”
“I’m not a hero” he felt like he’d heard these words before “nothing I did was hero-like”
“And that’s why you quit”
“That’s why I quit” he nodded and looked outwards into nothing.
She looked up to the sky. The night was warm, the sky was clear, not a single cloud in sight, so the stars were visible. She teared up a little bit while looking at them.
“You never told me why you quit” Javier said making the swing sway a bit more.
“It’s complicated” she said quietly.
He looked at her and saw her teary eyes. He was saddened by the sight. He didn’t expect her to say anything else, but he didn’t want her keeping everything in. She surprised him.
“I’d had enough. The shootouts, the bureaucracy, the right, the wrong, the work itself. Everything had built up, but losing my partner was the last straw” she paused for a bit “two months ago me and my partner Lydia were busting a lab. Nothing difficult. It’s as basic as basics get. The mission seemed like a success, we were about to pack up and go back, leaving the rest of the crew to finish with the substance collecting, when I realised I had lost my pager. I was about to go back and look for it, but Lydia said she wanted to check something up with the team and that she would look for it. So she went back into that basement” she paused for a moment again “there was an explosion. It killed her and five other people from my team”
He looked at her and saw a tear falling down her cheek.
“Were you injured?” his mind couldn’t comprehend the fact that she could’ve died that day. His very first partner, his friend, the woman he...
“I was fine. The explosion knocked me down, but I was far enough from it” she wiped away a tear “gosh.. I just keep thinking that it should’ve been me. I lost the pager, it was mine I-”
“It shouldn’t have been you” Javier interupted her and took her hand “it was an accident, ok? I’m sorry that you lost your partner and your team. But I am glad that you’re ok” he rubbed her hand with his thumb. He saw that she was trying her best not to cry so he put his hand around her and that was enough for her to lean into him and start crying. He held her until she calmed down, caressing her shoulder. At that moment he felt like he would’ve done everything in his power to protect her.
It was the first time she had talked about this with someone. She was the type to bottle everything up, so it felt like a rock had been lifted from her chest. It was also comforting to be in his arms. She felt safe, calm at least for a moment.
“I’m sorry” she said still laying her head on his chest.
“Don’t be. It’s ok” he took her hand and was about to lift it and kiss it when he noticed that she was wearing that watch, his watch. “You’re wearing my watch” he rubbed her hand.
“Oh.. yeah... I thought it’d be a nice sentiment”
That made him smile for some reason. But his thoughts were interupted when she sat back up, leaving his embrace.
“Way to ruin a decent day, huh” she smiled and looked down.
“You didn’t ruin anything. If anything, you made it worth while”
She looked at him and put a hand on his knee and caressed it a little bit. They sat on the swing for a little while. She had forgotten how calming the silences were when she was with him. No pressure, no fear. It just felt right.
His mind was racing. He had so many thoughts, so many feelings. He was deep in thought when he heard her speak.
“It’s getting cold” she said rubbing her arm.
“Yeah... we should go to bed” he said as he stood up. He looked at her. He hesitated reaching out and taking her hand, so he was relieved that she got the memo to walk with him back to the house.
They reached her bedroom and stopped.
“Javi, I...” she looked into his eyes. Eventhough it was almost midnight the crescent moon provided enough light to see just how deep and beautiful they were. He was looking right back into her eyes as well. There was no doubt that they both were feeling the same thing. “Thank you, Javi” she broke the tension.
“Yeah.. no problem. Well I should..” he gestured to his bedroom.
“Yeah so should I” she gestured to her room. They both chuckled and went to their separate rooms.

Parkson Mystery
Kate Denson x Jake Park
word count: 1,457
summary: none of Kate’s fans know how she met him. she was single one day, and had him all over her feed the next. they tried digging into his past and discovered he was working on Wall Street, until his digital footprint all but vanished, only again popping up on the internet’s radar when the songbird he spent so much time around made their relationship public. this is the true story of how america’s sweetheart and the mystery mogul first met... and then some.
a/n: I had so much fun writing this! this story was originally posted on the DBD Amino. imma be completely honest w u, I have NOT been a fan of Kate. I like using Boil Over when in swf and I enjoy the Horse Gorl™️ vibes but like. idk. ANYWAYS. as I wrote this story I actually made a bunch of personal headcanons and can now say, Parkson is an official ship for me! I can totally vibe w the dynamic they have in my head <3

Jake Park wasn’t ashamed to admit he’d picked up a taste for country music after having an existential crisis; in fact, he wasn’t even ashamed to admit he’d become an avid fan of Kate Denson - not a stan, though. Sure, he followed her on his private Instagram, but that wasn’t to lurk on her sexy photoshoot pictures, it was just to keep track of release dates for her albums. Granted, it never is hard to admit things when you don’t have friends to admit them to in the first place.
Every now and then he’d wonder if he should stop being such a stiff and just call one of his old work buddies for a steak dinner, but a quick scroll through their text history would remind him why he left the world of Wall Street behind to begin with. Materialism pales in comparison to the simple things in life, he’d tell himself. His baser instincts had always told him life wasn’t meant to be complicated, which is why he shoved those instincts down for years.
But Kate’s music - the songs of America’s sweetheart - reminded him of what an uncomplicated life was. Hard, rewarding work all day, and well-deserved rest at night. So much more peaceful than the never-ending rat race of the big city. Her music spoke to his soul in ways nothing ever had before, calmed his spirit. It made him realize how lost he was. So, he ditched the concrete jungle in favor of the real deal. Now all he ever dreamed of was thanking the young star who set him on fire again, giving him a new lease on life.
When he heard she was touring in his city, he felt excitement seeping into his very essence. Finally, the chance he’d been hoping for. He supposed she would be bashful, tell him he did more to turn his life around than she did. She gave off that vibe, at least. But Jake knew the truth, and he hoped he might find a kindred spirit in her. He pulled out an old business suit, perfect for a rare night on the town, brought his expensive car out of the garage acting as its tomb, and purchased a VIP ticket.
He was the last person in line. When he got to the front, he was almost speechless at the sight of her - almost. He managed to get out, “Miss Denson, your music saved my life.” The star laughed shyly, like she was used to a different kind of person saying those words to her. Probably fourteen, wearing braces, just having gone through their emo phase before getting back in touch with their roots. All the kids go through them these days, after all. Even a little cousin of Jake’s did a few years back. While he pondered this, he couldn’t help but also ponder how her laugh sounded like wind chimes. How is it that musicians always sound so magical?
As Jake mused, Kate said something he couldn’t quite hear and began to walk away with her security detail, agent in tow. “Wait!” He called out, and she turned back to face him. He could tell her agent was thinking he was just a crazed country boy super fan. “What if I told you that your music is the reason why I walked away from Wall Street?”
Kate smiled, a little confused. “I’d say that explains the accent. What’s your name, mister...?”
“Park. Jake Park, to be exact, but you can call me Jake, if you’d like.”
She laughed again, this time with confidence unlike before, demeanor changing from wary to businesslike. Or... something else. Jake couldn’t quite place it. “Well, Jake, I have a burning question for you: Why would my music make you give up a career like that?” She broke away from her entourage to come closer.
“We could discuss it over dinner, if you’d like?” Jake offered, the old swagger from his uptown days making a guest appearance. Sure, he wasn’t working numbers under uppity snobs to get a bigger Christmas bonus anymore, but he still knew how to play poker. If Kate’s eyes were of any indication, his gut told him he may have just been dealt a winning hand.
Kate accepted before her agent could intervene or protest, his eyes turning into slits. Probably worried Jake’s background with money and marketing could put him out of a job. Maybe he was right. “I’d love to get to know my most interesting fan. Might as well put that Wall Street money to use, huh?”
“Sure thing, darlin’.”
Tumblr media
Since that day, their relationship as business partners, friends, and eventually more, blossomed. Kate dropped her greedy agent and management team for the generous man who became her best friend. Jake used his book smarts and savvy money skills to help lower Kate’s touring costs, made her performances more accessible to *all* of her fans, and helped her rake in extra profits from her music releases *and* with cheaper marketing. She spent less time in the studio and more time with him on their back porch as he sat and listened to her beautiful creations.
Truth be told, meeting Jake helped save Kate. Her old team had been stripping the life from her creativity, pushing for numbers rather than quality content. Having Jake work with her personally made everything so... simple. Working from home when making music, waking up to the sun dappling her skin through the the leaves of the trees, feeling the breeze on her face and his kisses on her fingers - it put the inspiration back into her music.
Her fans seemed to notice too, and they seemed to get a kick out of her sharing more about her life online, making theories about their relationship. Jake and Kate would scroll through the subreddit comments and laugh at the crazy ideas everyone had. Jake hadn’t laughed like that with someone in a long time. He hadn’t had a sense of humor in a long time, either.
When his family came calling, lecturing him about dropping his old career and this and that, he invited them over for dinner... and showed them that his and Kate’s retirement funds were already completed when she wasn’t looking. Their qualms ended after seeing the financial security they had, and seeing how calm Jake’s home life was. Sure, it was a strange change, but for once, Jake was happy, and seemed fulfilled. They didn’t always understand everything, but they understood enough.
Eventually, they visited Jake’s family in Korea, had their quiet wedding, nothing crazy, just something for family and close friends and nice rings, and did some remodeling with their own bare hands to create a cute nursery, complete with musical instruments and stuffed animals. When the delivery date came, Jake was a mess. He knew his wife would handle it like a champ, but his nerves were still through the roof. The labor came and went easily, and they came home with a beautiful baby girl.
“What are you going to call her?” Kate’s mother cooed as she obsessed over the newborn.
“Jake was thinking Yu-Hwa, and I was thinking Grace. He said I could have the first name if he had the middle name.” Kate mused. Jake was outside working on building a playground for their daughter. He’d insisted on getting an early start, arguing that his mother said time flies when raising a baby, no matter that their child was only a week old.
“Grace sounds beautiful. It matches your names, too. Oh, I’m going to have *so* much fun spoiling this little girl!” The new grandmother whisper-squealed, not wanting to wake the baby. “When are you going to have more?”
Kate laughed. “I told you mom, we just want the one.”
“For now.”
“For *forever,* mom.”
“What’s this about another child?” Jake asked, announcing his presence.
“Just Grama Denson getting a bit too ahead of herself.” Kate rolled her eyes.
Jake casually wrapped his arms around Kate, planting a kiss on her forehead before heading to the fridge to steal some lemonade. “I mean, between you and me, eomma, I wouldn’t mind making another baby, long as they keep turning out this cute.”
Kate gave him a quick flick to the forehead before he could dodge it. “Stop conspiring against me with my mother, sir. It takes two to tango.”
Tumblr media
When the playground was finished, Kate did, in fact, gain another baby bump, watching happily as her husband helped their first waddler play outside. Grace Yu-Hwa Park and Dae-Hwan Lee Park, DaeDae for short, were lucky enough to have the best dad, Kate thought. Jake looked up at her, glowing in spite of the autumn cold, and thought the same thing.

Fucked Up Love ‘Triangle’
Tumblr media
so, i started working on this thing back in april ( hence bakugous birthday and the cherry blossoms ) it just took me a while to edit it. srry
anyways, this is like so self indulgent but w.e, still figured id share!
(f reader x kami x sero, seroxmina) it aint a threesome tho
Word count: 3k
Warnings: Slight angst, finger banging, weed, idk im bad at tagging (also were saying everyone is aged up so y’all can relax. like you were so innocent in h.s)
You were currently huddled up on the hammock with your favorite blanket, as Kaminari gently pushed you back and forth. There was music playing in the background, and a video game that had long been forgotten still displayed on the T.V. It was Friday night, and as usual, you and your friends were all in Seros room smoking together. Bakugou, and Kirishima had already retired to their rooms for the night, so it left just you, Kaminari, Sero, and Mina. The relaxing atmosphere was abruptly interrupted by Mina, who jumped up and startled everyone.
"BITCH, don't forget we’re getting our nails done tomorrow! I'm going to head back to take off my nail polish so it’s easier for them. They always claim they don’t charge extra for that, but I swear I think they do.”
"Ok! Text me!!! I probably will need a wakeup call after tonight!"
"Oh, I bet you will!" Kaminari said with a giggle.
"Hush, I'll see you tomorrow cutie!" You said to Mina with a wink. You couldn’t even bat an eyelash before she was skipping down the hall, off to her room for the night.
"Why don’t you call me cutie?" Kaminari said as he got off from his position on the floor, and motioned for Sero to slide over, so he could claim Mina’s old spot on the bed.
"Because dipshit seems to suit you…"
"Well she’s not wrong" Sero added, laughing just as hard as you were.
Kaminari leaned back and sighed. “Whatever, I won’t be such a dipshit after my next study sesh with Yaoyorozu….when was that again?”
“Tomorrow morning……she literally just texted you like an hour ago to make sure you wouldn’t forget? You’re not helping your case man.” Sero replied as he lit up another blunt and passed it to Kaminari.
“Oh fuck! You’re right dude. I’m good for tonight I guess, I should head back so that way I don’t oversleep tomorrow…I might not make it in time for tea.” Kaminari was sporting his best puppy dog eyes, and pout. He motioned for you to sit down on the bed, and take his spot. He took one last hit, before he passed it to you and left, ( peering around the corner for Aizawa first ) heading to his room for the night, leaving just you, and Sero behind.
You were seated over by him on the bed at this point passing the blunt back and forth. Both of you completely zoned out in your own little worlds. Sero leaned over to grab his water that was on the floor beside you. At first you didn’t really notice how close he was, but as he leaned over you again to put it back, his eyes caught yours. His face was so close, moving closer and closer, until it was like the two of you were moving in slow motion. Your body was just moving on its own at this point, and the next thing you knew you were in the middle of a heated makeout session. His hands started to caress your thighs, and you could feel the ever growing situation happening between his legs, his jeans were growing tighter and tighter. Your mouths were still too preoccupied to speak, and your hands still wandered up and down his body. Your fingers moved from underneath his shirt, back towards the straining bulge in his pants. You felt as his fingers moved your panties to the side, and he started to stroke you.
“You’re already so wet….is this ok?”
You barely managed to mumble back that yes, it was indeed ok, before his mouth was on you again, kissing your neck ever so slowly. You couldn’t tell if it was the weed, or if Sero was really that skilled because not too soon after he got to work, you could feel your body start to tense in pleasure. After you reached your peak you pulled away to speak.
“Thank you Sero…let me…” You reached for the zipper to his jeans when you were both interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Y/N, it's past curfew and I can already smell what you guys have been doing. Go to your room for the night please, and next time you want to indulge in these types of activities, make sure it’s after I've already made my rounds. I’m giving you both the benefit of the doubt by not expelling you.”
------
The next morning you groaned as you heard your phone ringing. You forgot you told Mina you needed a wakeup call.
"Hey. Cutie...dream about me?" You answered as you rolled out of bed to get ready.
"Heh, maybe, you dream about me?"
Your eyes widened, and you pulled your phone away to make sure you heard correctly. The voice on the other end was definitely not Mina.
"What...Kaminari?"
"Yeah! I figured I'd call and wake you up. You and Mina have a thing and I didn’t want you to oversleep...."
"Thanks! I’m glad you called. I’m assuming you got up in time to study today?"
"Yup, bright and early! Oh, and Sero told me what happened last night, you got lucky… "
“Wait Sero told you what happened last night?” You were definitely confused. You hadn’t even had a chance to talk to him about it yet and he had already told Kaminari? With your luck the whole class knew by now.
“Yeah, he said you ended up staying for a while, and Aizwawa caught you two smoking while he was making his rounds.”
You were relieved, maybe he didn’t say anything about it after all. You decided to ask just to be sure. “Oh, yeah…that’s all he said?”
Kaminari giggled. “Mhmm, guess we’ll just have to make sure we have Bakubro’s birthday thing a little later tonight.”
"Oh fuck. I completely forgot about his birthday!"
“Well, I didn’t get him anything yet either. Wanna come with me after you have your nails done with Mina? We can get some ice cream from that place you like on the way back?”
"Are you trying to ask me out on a date Kaminari?"
“Maybe…”
“Took you long enough...”
---
By the time you had made your way down stairs after getting ready Mina was already waiting for you.
“Jeez took you forever!” She gave you a once over before she licked her lips and chirped “Wow, you look cute, whose is all that for?” You shot her a look and bumped your hip into hers, as she grasped your arms, and you both made your way out of the dorms.
“Yeah, I uh…. I'm going out with Kaminari after this, I'm a shit friend and forgot it was Bakugous birthday.” She knew just by your lack of eye contact something more was up.
She decided to test the waters. “So Kaminari huh? I knew you liked him, you were low-key jealous when he asked Ibara out at the sports festival.”
“Uhm, I was not!!” By the blush on your cheeks you both knew you were full of shit. “But in the meantime I have a lot to tell you about last night…..”
“Oh yeah, I heard that Aizawa caught you and Sero. You’re lucky you’re not expelled, girl.”
“Yeah. Well about that……”
You explained everything that had happened to Mina on your walk to the salon. There was a lot to tell. You were so confused. You really had never thought of Sero that way before. Honestly, you really did have a huge crush on Kaminari, but you were sick of him never asking you out. He would flirt with everyone all the time, you were no different, but he never actually asked you out before. You figured there was no way he actually meant it this time. You weren’t sure if it was all just a joke to him.
Sero was hot adamantly, and clearly you didn’t regret what happened between the two of you, it was just that, even after all that, you still didn’t think you liked him...at least not in a romantic sort of way.
“I think I was just horny more than anything else..”
Mina laughed. “Yeah, Seros weed has a tendency to do that. That’s how Bakugou and Kirishima finally got together after all…”
---
You and Mina arrived back at the dorms just in time for Kaminaris' study session to be over. Mina caught you as you licked your lips, watching as Denki winked and headed over to greet you.
“Oh, girl, you got it bad...I'll leave you too it..”
“Mina, I swear I'm never going to tell you anything again!”
--
Your ‘date’ with Kaminari went well. He walked you to a nearby shopping center, stopping for drinks along the way, and you both successfully managed to find Bakugou something he wouldn't blow up. On the walk back, Kaminari insisted you both take the long route, which ended up being the best choice. It lead straight through a park where you just so happened to catch the last of the blooming cherry blossom trees.
“Oh, Kami! I’ve never seen the cherry blossoms before...this is amazing!!”
“I told you the extra mile would be worth it!”
With him paying for your drink, and the walk through the park, it was actually starting to feel like a real date. Before you got your hopes up, you decided to ask him. You wanted things to be cleared up between the two of you, so you could then figure out the whole Sero thing.
“Uhm, Kami...is this like…. a real date? I know you said it was, but I didn't know if you were joking or not…”
“I know I joke around alot, but this is real...I mean, it's real to me! Why would you think it wasn't?”
“I dont know, you've just never asked me out before...you've asked plenty of girls...just not me…”
“Yeah, I get it. With them it was easy… I didn't really care if they said no or not...with you, I was nervous….”
So Kaminari did indeed ask you on a real date? You tried to push the whole Sero thing to the back of your brain and forget about it for the time being. You were having a great time with your longtime crush and didn’t want to face the aftermath of last night quite yet.
---
That only worked for so long. As you and Kaminari made your way back into the dorms, you both rounded the corner and ran smack dab into Sero. Who looked like he had seen a ghost. Your memories came flooding back and you immediately glanced down at your feet, hoping Kaminari wouldn’t sense the awkwardness lingering in the air.
"Hey dude, whats up?"
"Oh hey whats up?" Sero wouldn't even glance in your direction. He seemed to be ignoring you completely.
“Nothing, me and y/n just went out and got Bakubro some sweet gifts for tonight!”
“Oh...yeah I forgot about Bakugous birthday...I better go find him something...peace” Sero chucked up the peace sign and fucked out of there faster than humanly possible.
“Well that was awkward….I wonder what's up with him?”
“Yeah I wonder” You managed to mumble back.
---
All night at the party Sero was actively trying to avoid you. All you two did was get a little touchy touchy...it's not like friends weren't allowed to do that or anything. Hell, you and Mina even kissed before. Even you and Kirishima. (maybe that was just on the cheek but still) At one point he went out to smoke on the balcony, you took that as your chance.
"Wow, so I must really be a terrible kisser huh? You've been avoiding me like I have covid or something?"
“Yeah sorry...it's just…” He was cut off by the sound of the sliding door opening.
Mina went to follow you out there, but realized Sero was out there, and turned right back around. He waited awhile to make sure there were going to no more interruptions before he continued.
“It’s just... that shouldn't have happened last night and I'm sorry.”
“It's OK. It’s not like I wasn't willing...you don't have to feel guilty or anything. We're friends Sero I don’t want this to change anything....” You moved closer, and he actually looked at you for the first time all night. You could tell he was feeling guilty about something.
“That’s the thing...”
“What's the thing?”
“That we’re friends....”
“Yeah and??”
“And....I have a "friend" who really likes you and I should have been a bro, and fucking respected that. Fuck.” Sero hung his head low, and put out his joint, glancing out into the night sky over the balcony.
“Oh....” The two of you stood there in awkward silence. “Yeah...is that friend Kaminari?”
Sero looked back at you “Maybe….”
“Well I really like him too...we went out today, and I kinda realized he's even sweeter then I thought.”
“Oh, then what about last night?”
“Just because I like him doesn't mean I regret what happened. Ya know? I can't take it back. I get why it sucks for us though....I didn't really think about what he would say if he found out.” Now it was your turn to sulk.
“Yeah me either. I don't want to hurt his feelings, or break up the squad.”
The two of you were too wrapped up in your conversation to hear the door open this time. You both jumped when you heard another voice coming from behind you.
“Damn...break up the squad, this sound pretty serious!” It was Denki, as if right on queue, he joined you both outside.
With a quick glance to Sero, the two of you decided it would be best to tell him together. At first he just stood there silent.
“Denki?” You waved your hand in front of him. With no immediate response, you thought you broke him, your heart fell right into your stomach.
“You like me?....” He finally managed to mumble out.
“Uhm, yes...I went out on a date with you today didn’t I?”
“But, you also made out with Sero…”
“Uhm...Yes.” You dropped your head low, too afraid to look him in the eyes for this.
“And he fingered you?” Denki took a step closer to you at this point.
“Mhmm….” You felt so stupid, right when Kaminari decided to finally ask you out, you had to go and do something dumb like hookup with his friend. You were utterly defeated. Until he stepped closer to you and grabbed your chin, making it so you were looking him in the eyes.
“OK.”
“OK what??” You were confused.
He smiled, and moved a stray strand of hair from your face.“Just OK…”
Sero decided to speak up. “Uhm Denki? I don't think that's a valid response bro..”
Kaminari turned back towards Sero while you still stood there silent, feeling like you were hit with Todorokis ice.
“Well ok, it happened...You guys are just friends and I know you wouldn't try to date her or anything. You like mina anyway…”
“Wait Sero...You like mina???” Hearing that broke you right out of your trance.
“Well now that the cats out of the bag….” Sero sighed.
“What a fucked up love triangle..” Denki muttered.
“More like a square but...” Sero seemed relieved.
You glanced over at Kaminari who seemed a little confused. You leaned in closer to him and whispered “because they have four sides…”
It was like a lightbulb went off inside his head. “Yeah so, like you guys kissed, and finger banged. No big deal.”
“You’re not mad?”
“No...just as long as I get to do that tonight?” He smirked and walked forward to wrap his arms around you in a hug. “ I just want my turn is all…”
You returned his hug, and shouted as Sero was about to go back inside and leave the two of you there alone.
“Wait!!!I have another problem?”
Sero stopped. “What’s that?”
“I kinda already told Mina what we did...but she’s not dumb, she knew I liked Kaminari before i even realized it.”
“OK....” Kaminari chimed in, not following where this was going at all.
“OK, so now I know Sero likes her!....And she knows what we did, I don't want her to think he's like off limits or anything…”
“Oh yeah fuck!” Sero stomped his foot to the ground in frustration.
“Why is your weed too dank dude? Swear it makes everyone horny as fuck.”
The two boys stood there smirking at each other while you actually put your brain to work. “Let me think…”
---
After a few drinks you ran up to Mina. "Hey! So I don't want you to think I'm a total slut or anything… but..."
"Never girl! You do you!...You and Sero " She stuck her tongue in her cheek and motioned with her hand to make it look like she was doing something else.
“Oh my god Mina! No! So that’s the thing….I like Kami…”
“I fucking knew you did girl!”
“I told him that, and I told him about me and Sero and he's cool with it.”
“Oh... So now you're going to get finger banged by sparky?” She took another sip of her drink and looked at you expectantly...she was not going easy on your love life huh?
“That's besides the point..” You joined her in taking another sip.
“What is your point then chick?”
You decided to finish off your drink before answering her. “I'm not trying give you my seconds or anything... Cause I swear the whole me and Sero was like an unexpected thing....But…”
“But what!?”
“But I've been told that Sero might have a thing for a certain someone…”
“Who?”
“You! You dumb ass!”
“Sero...He likes me?” Mina looked like Kaminari did when he overused his quirk.
“Yeah! I hope you don't mind. I didn't know that when he had his tongue all up in me yesterday or I wouldn't have done it.”
She thought for a bit before whispering “This is one fucked up love triangle!”
You just rolled your eyes and watched as she downed the rest of her drink and bounced up off the couch.
"Where you off to?"
"Uhm? Do you expect me to just sit here after what you told me? Imma go get me some tape face action!"
You flopped to the couch laughing "Oh my god Miina...So you're not mad?"
"You didn't know. Plus you're hot, can't say I wouldn't makeout with you."
“I’d pay to watch that…” The two of you turned towards the voice that rudely interrupted you.
“Mineta!! Go away!” You and Mina shouted in unison.
Yep this really was just one giant fucked up love “triangle”

Day 2: Hinata x Kageyama, “19...for luck”
hey! idk how this works but i honestly want to send u the ship n the number thing soookagehina annnnd 19 uwu if u dont mind
This is kind of a part of my fic starry cheeks and moonlit smiles...or I took the inspiration from that fic to write this little prompt. This is Hinata and Kageyama in later years. They live in an apaprmtnet in the suburbs of Tokyo Kags is a professional volleyball player and Hinata studies to become a grade school teacher (while playing volleyball in the uni-volleyball club).
(AO3 Link)
Hinata watched Kageyama from the doorway. He was on the floor, suitcase in front of him and clothes strew around, or clothes were always kind of just laying around in their bedroom, but now there was more because he was leaving tomorrow.
“Do you have everything, Tobio?” Hinata asked. He walked into the room and put down a strawberry milk for his partner. Chocolate milk for himself.
Kageyama hummed back, folding a shirt into the case. “Thanks.”
Hinata looked at the number 7 jersey that was hanging in the wall on it’s hangers. Washed, ironed and ready for a new training camp. Kageyama was second setter and pinch server of the national team. It wasn't unusual for him to travel to training camps, practice matches and tournaments, but this time; he would be out for almost two weeks. One week on a camp to make them ready for the startup of the season and then an intense practice weekend against teams that could be stronger.
Unlike last time, Kageyama would stand as the starting setter, since their official one was out because of an knee injury. His boyfriend might not show it, but Hinata was good at reading him. Kageyama was more stressed this time than last, but he was sure Tobio would do a great ob as the setter. His team wouldn't have chosen him if they didn't trust him.
“It’s going to be okay, you know.” Hinata hummed and started to help him.
Tobio gave a small nod back, but was still more intrigued by folding his pants than looking at Hinata.
“It’s weird you know, you used to be so sure of yousef when I met you.” Hinata started to snicker a little bit. “You were so hot-headed and intense, and was sure you could adjust to everything just given the right instructions.” He glanced at his boyfriend. Hinata was sure he had folded the same pair of pants three times now. “Now, you always get so tense before practice matches and camps, even though I know you enjoy yourself the most when you are playing.”
They sat in quietness for a few minutes. Hinata helped a silent Tobio pack and fold his suitcase. It was autumn, so he needed a few sets of outside wear too, because there would be outside training too. The team ways traveling further up north, and yeah, if it was cold in their Tokyo suburban neighbourhood, it would sure be cold in north-Japan.
“It’s different now, you know?”
Hinata didn't almost hear the whisper. He looked over to the setter. He must have been stressed, because he kept clutching the boxed milk.
“There are so many people that will watch and see if I fail. So many have opinions on the line up and I don’t care about it, I don’t, I just don’t need comment from someone that don’t understand the whole picture.” Kageyama huffed out a breath and let go of the milk, Which Shōyō was glad for. More pressure on that poor box, it might’ve explode over his clothes and they would have to start over again. “What if I’m not good enough and coach decides to make room for others. If I can't cooperate with the team and not set well, what then?” His breath had picked up during his voicing, Hinata grew a little worried. “We also got that stupid, fancy dinner at the end of the week. We even have to dress up for it!”
“Then you just have to practice and work on your team building.” Hinata smiled back, hoping it was comforting and encouraging. “And remember what Yahci-chan thought us, chew first and then talk- then you are as good as it can get.” He hope it would plant a small smile on his face, but it only seemed to deflate Tobio some more.
“It’s not that easy.”
Hinata shook his head. “No, but it has never stopped you before.”
Kageyama’s eye grew widers and he sat up.
“Remember how Tsukishima used to tease you that you were the tyrant king, well, you said you wanted to set, serve and play all by yourself when I met you.” Hinata had to stop and laugh at the memory. Kageyama practically stiffened up and got so, so rosy cheeks. It was cute. “What I am trying to say, is that you are not the same person you were, like, seven years ago. A lot have happened and you will continue to get better. And maybe in a few years, if you keep it up- you will be the official setter of Japanese volleyball team.”
“I doubt it, I don't think my senpai will retire any time soon. He is just a year older than me.” Kageyama huffed back. He might have tried to not look intimidating, but his cheeks were still flushed and he was still slightly pouting.
“Well, I know you wont give up on volleyball any time soon.”
Kageyama nodded. At least he was sure of that. Kageyama not playing volleyball, wasn't right.
“And Tobio,” Hinata chuckled easily. “ You have tried to fold the same pair of pants for fifteen minutes.” His boyfriend looked down at his hands. And, yes, his pants were just a mess of wrinkled denim fabric. It looked like a two year old had tried to make a ball out of it. Kageyama pouted somewhat, but it was broken off by a yawn.
Hinata chuckled easily and took his hands. “Come on, we can pack tomor to, your train doesn’t travel until late, 05.00 p.m, right?” Kageyama nodded, sleepy. “Well, then, we can sleep in and pack when we have eaten, hmmm?”
“You drive me to the station, right?” Kageyama asked once they were cuddles into their bed. There was still clothes and toiletries thrown around in their bedroom, but that was a problem for tomorrow.
“Of course, I always do, don't I?”
“Yeah,” And Hinata could hear the smile in his voice.
The next morning went smoothly. They slept in, Hinata made made breakfast for the two of them. they took a quick walk to the drug store to pick up the last few things Kageyama needed; and lastly, they packed.
After an early dinner Hinata drove Tobio to the train station and when he helped Kageyama unload the baggage, a few other teammates waved to them. Hinata waved back while Kageyama nodded. He was familiar with them and sometimes, even he would get invited out for drinks with Tobio’s team. It was a great bunch of guys.
“Call me when you arrive.” Hinata said as they hugged. “And don’t worry about silly stuff.” He felt Tobio nod into this hair. “But, call me- if you get stressed or something. It’s better when you call and talk it out.”
“Hai, hai.” Tobo replayed lazily.
“Good luck, Tobio-chan.” Hinata sang as he stood up on his toes to peck a soft kiss on Kageyama's nose. His boyfriend wrinkled it in reaction and, gosh, it was cute.
“Don’t I get a good buy kiss?” He asked hopefully and looked down to meet Hinata's eyes.
“No,” Hinata laughed and turned around. “You only get a good luck kiss this time. That is what you need anyway.” He winked back playfully and gave a last bow to the other teammates. Kageyama smiled back, boyish and handsome as always.
Hinata only drove away when he saw Kageyama with his teammates as they entered the station, and all he felt was pride for his boyfriend.

just lots and lots of very long-winded, random thoughts about last night’s finale and the show itself...
so obvs no one has to agree with me on any of this, i just feel like there likely ARE ppl who feel like this and it’s easy to get shut down on tumblr for having different opinions, and i mostly just need to gather my feelings and thoughts in one place.
-ive seen a handful of ppl upset that the last ep centered around reid, but if you were to take 10 fans of this show, it’s a pretty good chance that 8 or 9 of them would say reid is their fave character. that isn’t me trying to insult any of the other characters, that’s just the way it is. whether it’s bc of his looks (and my lord was he gorgeous in this finale ep), or that he’s your typical cute white boi, or more organic reasons like he’s been there since day 1 and we were able to watch him change and grow, and he’s the opposite of the typical male characters we often see, especially on cop shows.. whatever the reason, he is a VERY popular tv character. and if it weren’t for that character, for better or worse, this show would have ended a long time ago.
-the ending itself.. i just feel like i don’t know what ppl were expecting?? this is not a show like supernatural or dexter or a show that has had a fluent overarching story to tell from start to finish. the story continues without us watching it. it’s another day at the office for them. was it a great ending? no, but it was fine. we see where all of them are headed. endings are so difficult, i’m just glad they didn’t kill anyone off or some garbage like that.
-so damn happy they hooked up luke and garcia. i have had such issues with garcia’s character since morgan left, i feel like she became a caricature, where she just overacts and i recently read an article with kirsten where she actually admitted that when shemar left she really didn’t know what to do with her character anymore. honestly? it showed. the obnoxiousness to luke was cute at first bc she obviously had a crush on him, but then it just became mean and out of character. this season i was happy to see her get a little bit more back to herself. all this being said, they were very clearly headed towards getting luke and garcia together this season with the overt flirting and one on one convo’s, i’m so glad they went through with it instead of leaving it open ended. and i will admit that of all the characters, i didn’t think garcia would be the one to leave, but it made sense. garcia is tough as hell, much tougher than she gives herself credit for, but like luke said, she can do this other job without the gore that she cringes over in literally every single episode of the show. also loved jj saying garcia was the glue of the team. so true, so well said. and side note, kirsten does a hell of a job writing these characters that she knows all too well, the other writers should’ve just let her take over in later seasons.
-prentiss... i love my emily so dang much, but man they give her the absolute worst dialogue. she gets stuck with all these long sentences that just.. they just don’t flow?? and it takes me out of the show so often. this has been since s12 when she became unit chief. there has been a handful of times since she became the boss that we have had flashes of old school smartass goth girl emily, and i cherished each moment, but it wasn’t enough. somewhere along the way they forgot how to write into the show that their characters had PERSONALITY. just as an example of the stupid dialogue she gets.. the end of the ep where it’s intended to look like rossi’s retirement party. then, idk who it was, emilys boyfriend maybe(?) says some dumb comment about oh gee i thought this was dave’s retirement! and then emily starts some awkwardly long line that could’ve been summed up in “dave decided not to retire afterall” and it was just soooo... weird?!!? if we are agreeing that A MONTH has gone by.. you are to tell me that it never once came up that dave said he was gonna retire and then changed his mind!??! that night, one month later, is the first that this discussion occurred!!?!?! and all of these dumb lines come out sounding so robotic, and i can’t blame paget, bc the lines are boring as hell. also unless i missed something i can’t rule emily out of being the next director, especially since their profile ended up being correct, lynch and the mom didn’t kill themselves, so i’m sure when that all came out, the next hurdle emily would have to clear is how they just blew up their very expensive jet right after having a budget meeting 2 episodes ago!!
- i’m gonna lump the newer characters together.. and just say that it was all too little, too late. they tried to give matt and luke more this season, and the ep’s centered on them were great, but it all felt forced to me. all this character development should’ve started as soon as they came onto the show. the relationships between the new and original characters also feels forced a lot of times, barring relationships like rossi and his boys, luke and garcia, tara and emily.. i mean that’s kind of all, right? we never saw much off-the-job, personal interactions between them and the rest of the characters, did we? and the way tara was treated on this show is inexcusable. aisha’s talents were so underused on this show it was criminal (pun intended). and actually, the above stuff i said about emily getting nonsense dialogue, you can throw matt in there too. his dialogue was friggin god awful at times on this show. in the words of early seasons reid, maybe try to be more conversational, writers!!
-man oh man was jj a badass and a half in this finale. tbh i always enjoyed liaison jj more than ssa jj, but when badass jj comes out i get all excited. i do feel like she would be the best fit to take over if emily left, she’d stepped into that role before and excelled. but she is another character that at times i think the writers just forgot how to write her personality somewhere along the way. i understand that the reality is that people change over time, but there were times that she was written like a typical high school mean girl, and that was just an insult to the character they created. the whole jeid thing was severely overblown and unnecessary. i don’t hate the idea of them being together, but why wait til s14-15 to deal with this? in the end i thought it was handled okay, i personally didn’t feel like it ruined their friendship or stayed awkward, which i appreciated, it was just a storyline that wasn’t needed and wasted time. also, ppl griping about “oh but she clearly loves will, if she loves spencer then she can’t love will!” i mean, actually, ppl are capable of loving more than one person at a time, hate to burst that bubble for ya.
-this seems like a good moment though to pause and just get this out about will lamon-fuckin-tagne jr... this guy is too good for jj lol, i am sorry but he is such a great guy. and can we review some things about will and his wife’s bestest friend, godfather to his children, spencer reid?? when will and spencer first met, it was during an unbelievably personal case to will, i mean his father died sending him a message about this case that the fbi was called in on. and his first intro with reid?? let’s see, reid spent that ep strung out on drugs, and full on abandoning the case to go hang out with his friend at a club/bar/lounge/whatever. ok, so that’s will’s first impression of jj’s bestie, and will STILL okay’d him being the godfather of his kids. not to mention, can you imagine your wife has been gone in the damn middle east for who even knows how long, then when she finally gets back and you think you’re gonna have her to yourself, but oh no, here comes jj’s friggin bestie again to come cry on the couch every night for several weeks!!!! and he gives zero indication of not liking spencer, in fact he seems rather fond of him. will is the most patient man ever, i swear.
-ok that was an unexpected side track. moving onto rossi. not sure why they were all like oh pfft this guy will never retire. the dude literally retired before the show started lol. if he retired once, when he was fairly young, why is the idea of it happening again so impossible? again, dumb dialogue. i loved the stuff with him and young gideon (i may be biased tho bc i’m just so damn proud of ben savage), i loved that rossi knew more about the jet than the others, however that was an inconsistency bc when rossi came back from retirement, he couldn’t believe the bau had its own jet. unless i just misunderstood what emily meant when she said it all started with rossi and gideon. i felt like lynch was a very underwhelming villain. super forgettable. there was no charisma like foyet or cat adams, there was no creep factor like mr scratch, there was no mystery like the replicator or the fisher king. his whole story just fell flat, and if there were anything interesting about him whatsoever, it’s bc of what rossi brought to the table, not the “chameleon”.
-my boy reid. he has several lifetimes of baggage to unpack, and i think of all the characters on this show, no one hates unpacking their trauma more than reid. i feel like it was so relatable that he could barely speak in this ep without sounding on the verge of tears, like every sentence was painful to even get out bc of how much hurt is stored up inside him. his trauma has defined him for years now, and if they had ended the show without addressing even some of it, the show would’ve been incomplete. i understand that actors schedules just don’t work out sometimes, but idk what the point was of having strauss and foyet be his devil and angel. and foyet’s long explanation of how bc he changed hotch, he changed the team was so convoluted that he may as well have just said “they couldn’t get james van der beek or the dude who played mr scratch, so im here instead”. i liked what they did with reid and maeve, and i actually don’t mind that there was no mention of max. they’re still very early in their relationship, and i feel like him coming out with some “wait i think i love max!” revelation would just be too fast and ooc. we already know that the relationship between them is growing, it doesn’t need to be said. and can i get an amen that maeve and reid didn’t kiss bc god that would’ve been weird as hell.
- i hate that we couldn’t have hotch or morgan or blake or elle or any of the main characters that helped make this show what it was, but i’m still grateful for the crumbs they gave us if the actors just couldn’t be booked for whatever reason. i’ve seen many shows at their end just try to pretend their previous characters never existed, so that we got some flashbacks with them was appreciated.
- RIP bau jet. i wiiiill reMEMber youuuuuuu.
-the song choice of david bowie’s Heroes was perfection. strangely, when i was driving home from work yesterday that song came on my playlist and i blasted it on repeat and performed a car concert for my fellow drivers on the road, and thought to myself that this song would be great for cm to end on. never thought they would actually do it since they had previously used the song in penelope’s ep. but what a great scene of all them dancing and singing and laughing like the bunch of nerdy idiots they are.
-i came late into the game with this show. ppl have been telling me for years to watch it and i only picked up watching in s13, after i read a spn/cm crossover fic and became super curious about who all these awesome characters were. with that said, i’m aware that since i haven’t invested years of my life in this show, that my feelings and thoughts about the ending will be different than those who have been hooked on this show for over a decade. i’m still just so thankful for the family portrayed by this show, and these characters i fell in love with, and episodes i’ll never forget.

“Leaving? No! You should come to UA too.” He argued.
“Have either of you seen her recently?” He asked. “The last time I saw that Copycat was on the last day of school.” Bakugo answered. “Mmm we heard that you didn’t get along.” The police officer said. “Is there a problem with that?” Bakugo asked. “Well she’s gone missing, her foster parents reported her missing a few days ago, you two are the only people in the class that remember her.” The officer explained. “Missing?” Izuku asked. “I saw her a couple of days ago, I was training for the test here, she was angry at me I think.” “Angry?” The officer asked. “She didn’t have a quirk so I guess she felt like she didn’t belong here, I always thought that she could be in the support class though.” Izuku explained. “Well you're wrong, she never would have fit in here.” Bakugo cut in. “Do either of you know where she might have gone?” The officer asked.
“Where’d she go Icyhot?” He asked. “Kacchan is she here?” You recognised that voice.
After the rescue was complete the three top heroes gathered together “You both know her?” Shoto asked. “She was an old friend, she didn’t have a quirk so she was bullied a lot, looks like she fell in with the wrong crowd when she went missing.” Izuku answered as Bakugo looked up in the direction that they had come from. “I don’t think that we can save her.” Bakugo finally said. “Who’s fault is that?” Deku asked. “I get it Deku, I messed up big time when we were younger. It's my fault and it’s my problem to fix! If I could do things differently I would but I don’t think that there’s anything left to save.” Bakugo answered. “She needs help, if you don’t understand that then you still don’t understand what you did to her.” Deku glared at him. “I know what she needs Deku! I’ve never been able to fix anything that I’ve broken, she is no different, I want to help her change what I’ve done, I know I was a horrible kid and I’ve been trying to make up for it since I became a pro hero.” Bakugo answered. “Then be a hero and save her.” Deku glared at him before walking away. Bakugo watched him leave before walking away, worried about any future altercations with you.

Ace Victor prompts: 1. Victor and Yuuri find creative outlets once they both retire 2. Victuuri honeymoon spent eating super fattening foods and just having fun instead of smexxing 3. Someone(idk what situation this would happen)Is pushing Victor to talk about his sex life because anyone married to The Sec Bomb Yuuri™ must have crazy kinky shit happening in the bedroom 4. COZY VICTUURI BY A FIRE ON A RAINY DAY FALL ASLEEP AND ARE LATE TO PRACTICE AND OTHERS ASSUMES IT WAS CAUSE THEY HAD SEX
Oh my gosh! This is so cute!! Thank you!
This includes both ace Victor and ace Yuuri, because who doesn’t want a cute ace marriage?
Here is my offering. It’s about 3.5k words. Read it below or read it on ao3.
The Grand PrixFinal was a mere three days away when they were out for another walk. In threedays he would be anxious and worried about going out on the ice and not lettingVictor down (if he was honest with himself, he was anxious about it even now),but for now, at least, he could think about something else. Worry aboutsomething else.
They stoppedhalfway down the bridge and stared out over the water.
Yuuri watchedVictor out of the corner of his eye. For all of the comments about Eros andwhat Eros means, there was still one subject that they’d both carefullyavoided. Victor was very famous, yes, and as Victor’s fan Yuuri was all tooaware of the theories that went around online. Some believed he had a secretgirlfriend, others – a boyfriend. Some claimed they’d seen him go out withdifferent people. There were theories about him and Chris. Yuuri had read all thesetheories, because sometimes it’s harder to not read something than to actuallyread it and wondered a little about it himself.
And now Victorwas his coach and right there every day and Yuuri could say several things forcertain.
Victor didn’thave a secret girlfriend or boyfriend. And it was very obvious to Yuuri thatChris was a best friend and there had never been anything between them. Infact, based on how Victor talked about the subject and avoided certain topics,Yuuri was convinced that Victor had never gone out with anyone.
When Yuuri wentout on the ice as Eros the audience whistled and screamed all kinds of things.Victor merely smiled and nodded.
“Did you likeit?” Yuuri would ask afterwards.
“Very Eros,”Victor would say and nod with a smile.
Do you actually mean it? Yuuri wouldwonder and agonize over this.
Now here theywere, a few days before the Grand Prix Final and Yuuri knew there was onesubject he couldn’t avoid any longer.
“I like you,Victor,” he finally admitted. “I-I’ve liked you for a while.” He turned away tohide his face, embarrassed that he’d stuttered over the most importantconfession of his whole life. “For a long while…” he whispered.
“I like youtoo, Yuuri. I wouldn’t have become your coach, if I didn’t,” Victor added in thatusual easygoing way of his.
Yuuri turnedback and looked into his face. “I don’t mean like, as in “you’re a great personand I like you”, I-I mean,” he stuttered again, “you are a great person and I like you for that too, but…” Why was thissuddenly so hard? “This is more than friendship,” he went on, determined to sayit. “I love you, Victor.”
Victor smiled.“I love you too, Yuuri.”
He continued tostand there, just smiling and Yuuri felt like he needed to explain himselfmore. “I-I don’t mean love like I love my family, Victor.”
“I understand,”he said. “I don’t mean that kind of love either.”
“Oh.” He stoodthere as the enormity of what Victor had said sank in. Oh!
Victor pulledhim into a hug. They stood there, arms around each other, hanging on and unwillingto let go for anything.
After a whileVictor whispered, “I’m really flattered that you feel this way about me.”
Shouldn’t I say that? Yuuri thought, returning the hug. Suddenly all of that anxiety he’d had evaporated into theair, leaving behind only the anxiety about the Final. Well, some thingscouldn’t be helped, it seemed.
They walked backhome together, exchanging smiles, their arms around each other.
If I could marry you, Yuuri thought, then I would in a heartbeat. And then hehad another thought. Who said I can’t marry you?
He thoughtabout this again in Barcelona the day before the Final. They walked through thecity as he searched around for what he needed.
“It’s yourbirthday soon,” he said. “What do you want for a present?” Say I don’t know and I can find something for you, I promise.
“In Russia wedon’t celebrate birthdays early,” Victor told him. “It’s considered back luck.”
“Oh. What aboutChristmas?”
“We don’tcelebrate it,” Victor smiled, “until January, anyway.”
Of course! He remembered reading aboutthat. He walked on, lost in thought, his eyes still searching for the rightthing.
Ah! Over there! Up ahead!
He ran to thestore and called Victor over.
He waited forVictor to comment in some way while they tried the rings on and then waited forhim to say something as he bought them both.
But Victorremained silent.
Yuuri alreadyknew where to go next. He stopped in just the right spot where the light fromthe Barcelona Cathedral would fall on them and they could exchange rings.
He tookVictor’s hand and trembled. He’d prepared words for this moment. The nightbefore he’d lain awake and thought them through. Now they were all gone.
“I-it’s a thankyou,” he stammered out, slipping the ring over Victor’s finger, “for everythingup ‘til now. I-I couldn’t think of anything else. But, I’ll try my best fromtomorrow on.” He felt his cheeks burn as he looked up into Victor’s face, waiting for him to say something, anything.
Victor noddedwith a smile. “I want you to show me the skating that you can honestly say isthe best.” He slipped the ring on.
He stared downat his hand in disbelief.
“I’m hungry,”Victor said, putting an arm around Yuuri, “let’s go grab a bite to eat.”
Yuuri felt hishead spin. Did he really just get engaged to his idol, or was he dreaming? Anddid Victor understand what he’d meant?
Victor lay inbed that night, staring at the ring on his finger. Yuuri had already fallenasleep, his head resting against his shoulder. They’d pushed the beds close beforefalling asleep by each other’s side. After exchanging rings, sleeping next toeach other felt right.
He thought ofYuuri’s confession. How could he explain to Yuuri just how he grateful he wasfor what he’d given him?
For years Chriskept trying to set him up with someone, not realizing what it was that Victorreally needed. To be fair, Victor himself hadn’t been sure and went along, thinking that it couldn’t hurt. And then the conversation with the person wouldturn to sex and his eyes would search around desperately for the exit.
“Well, notwanting to have sex after the first date is normal,” Chris would say.
And Victorwould watch him chase someone else to boast about how good they were in bedafterwards.
Okay, but I’m not interested in any of that.I don’t understand why you would go through all that just for sex. And,besides, you just admitted that they have a terrible personality. I just don’tget it.
Along cameYuuri who didn’t ask any of these questions and didn’t demand anything. Victorthought of the banquet when he saw the boy dance and marvelled at his strengthas he lifted Chris. And then Yuuri grabbed his arms and pulled him into a danceand he was having more fun than he’d ever had in his whole life.
I want to get to know you better, hethought.
“Be my coach, Victor!” Yuuri shouted.
And Victor did.Not right there and then, granted, but he did.
He rememberedhis conversation with Chris after he arrived at Hasetsu.
“So… Have you slept with him yet?” He couldalmost hear Chris prepare to say something like “congratulations”.
“No. I barely even know him, Chris!”
“Yeah, yeah, okay! Sure! You just ran acrosshalf the world to become his coach! After he stripped and pole danced! Sure!”Chris was probably rolling his eyes now.
“I think he deserves a good coach, so, yes,I did rush across half the world to become his coach,” Victor said defensively.“And I want to get to know him better.”
“Okay. Get to know him better. Sure.” Hecould hear the disbelief in Chris’s voice and wondered if it was worth theeffort of trying to explain himself better.
After everysingle Eros performance Chris would call with the same question. And he alreadyknew he would get the same question from Chris the next day.
Maybe it wastime to tell Chris to stop asking the question.
And sureenough, the next day, Chris drew him aside and asked it again. “You can’t tellme you still haven’t slept withYuuri! Look at all that Eros! Are you really going to tell me it doesn’t turnyou on at all?”
“He’sbeautiful, Chris,” Victor said in a calm tone of voice, “and he’s the bestperson I’ve ever met.”
Chris laughed.“Listen, Victor, you don’t have to pretend with me.” He leaned closer. “And youdon’t have to be embarrassed of it,” he added in a whisper. “I’m just curious, you know? What do you two get up to when you’re all alone?” He leaned evencloser, really invading his personal space now, and Victor resisted the urge tostep back, afraid to offend his friend. “Do you use ropes or…”
“What!” Victorinterjected. He’d listened to Chris talk about this once. He swore to himselfto never listen to it again. Two years went by and he was still slightlytraumatized by what he’d heard. “No! No! I told you: we’re not having sex!”
He’d protesteda little too loudly and people were turning around to give him curious looks.
Victor put hishands over his mouth and then took them away to whisper, “I didn’t have sexwith Yuuri! I slept with him, yes, but we slept beside each other.”
“I don’t getit,” Chris said, tilting his head to the side, “you sleep beside each other and you don’t– no, I just can’t believeit!” he shook his head. “You’re not old-fashioned enough to wait until you getmarried, are you?”
Victor sighed. Hewas just wasting time with Chris. “Just forget it. I need to go help Yuuriprepare for the competition.”
“Prepare, yeah, sure,” Chris said with a suggestive smile that Victor merely ignored.
And when Yuurifinally got his Grand Prix gold, an entire year later, they got married notlong after. And, sure enough, Chris called two days later with the samequestion.
“Listen, Chris,I can appreciate a joke like anyone else can, but I really think this isgetting out of hand,” Victor said, trying to sound calm and almost failing.
“I just don’tunderstand it,” Chris insisted, yet again.
“And I don’tunderstand you,” Victor admitted in avoice that was just a little too loud.
There was anembarrassed pause.
“Listen, I’msorry,” Chris said. “Can you forgive me?”
“It’s okay.” Hedid his best to make it sound like it was okay, but his voice betrayed theanger he held in check. Just don’t bringit up ever again.
“I guess Ijust– Oh! I feel like such an idiot!”Chris exclaimed. “All these years we’ve been friends and it never occurred tome!”
“What are youtalking about?” Victor asked, puzzled.
“Everythingmakes so much sense now!” Chris said. “You’re ace, Victor.”
Victor walkedinto his living room where Yuuri was sprawled out on the couch, “I suppose Iam,” he said, stopping to smile fondly at Yuuri’s sleeping form.
He wondered howmany people would believe that the kiss at their wedding had been their firstkiss. Oh, Victor had kissed Yuuri’s hand and even Yuuri’s skate, but neverYuuri’s lips, not until then. They’d only agreed to it, because it wastraditional.
They danced through their whole weddingparty until all the guests got tired and went home. They practically dancedtheir way to their hotel room and then dropped down next to each other on thebed.
“I’m not sleepy at all,” Yuuri admitted.
“Me neither,” Victor said. “Do you want towatch a movie? We can try to order some food, but it’s probably too late forroom service.”
Oddly enough, it wasn’t too late for room service, so they orderedwhatever looked good on the menu and stayed up half the night watching anythingthey could find.
Victor smiledat the memory of waking up next to Yuuri and realizing they hadn’t even changedout of their expensive tuxedoes.
He returned tothe kitchen to make coffee.
“So…” Chrissaid in a tone that was still apologetic, “I hope you have fun on yourhoneymoon. Truly.”
“Thank you. Iknow we will.”
They’d spentweeks planning the perfect honeymoon: starting with a cheese and wine tour inFrance and ending with a chocolate tour in Switzerland. They went early in thefall when the weather would still be good.
After one houron the train there they were: in a little town, straight out of a picture book.Even the way the Alps framed it suggested that someone took the time to sitdown and plan where each peak should be.
The sunilluminated a cobblestone street as they walked from shop to shop.
“Look at that!”Yuuri exclaimed, his eyes glowing with excitement. “There’s a little villagehere made all out of chocolate!”
They stoodoutside, looking in at the display window.
“Let’s go in,”Victor said, opening the door.
Neither of themhad ever seen such a selection of chocolate, from different types, to differentfillings (like added nuts and berries), that’s not to mention all of thedifferent shapes it was sold in.
“Wow!” theyexclaimed at the same time.
“Can I throwout my things and fill my suitcase with chocolate?” Victor mused aloud.
“It will justmelt into one giant chocolate suitcase!”
Two hours ofgoing from shop to shop and buying gifts for pretty much everyone they knewthey stopped at a little café where each of them got a little masterpiece madeout of chocolate and berries.
“Seems a shameto eat it,” Yuuri said, staring down at what he’d ordered.
“I can eatyours, if you don’t want it,” Victor offered.
“I never saidthat!”
Yuuri sleptwith his head on Victor’s shoulder during the train ride back to their hotel. The world was soft, full of bright colours and happy things. The view outsidewas breathtaking as the train circled the Alps and forests gave way to smalltowns before spreading out again over hills and down into valleys. A lake here,a river there, broke the view. Sunlight sparkled on the surface of the water, drawing the eye in. But the best view was the one leaning against Victor’sshoulder.
Victor raisedon hand and gently touched Yuuri’s face.
Yuuri slept on.
Tomorrow I want to find the best restaurantin Geneva and see just how good it is, he thought.
Two days laterthey discovered a small vintage shop on the outskirts of Zurich, which led to acompetition of “Guess who this is” on Instagram that Yuuri won. People werejust better at recognizing Victor under the old clothes, even when he pulled ona dress with a poufy petticoat underneath, a giant hat, a pair of opera glovesand held a fan made of feathers in his hand.
“I like thisone,” Victor said as they stood outside and went through the photos.
Yuuri stareddown at a photo of him in a black lace dress with red roses embroidered downfrom one corner of his chest to the bottom of the skirt. “Maybe we should’vebought it.”
“You know,”Victor began and tilted his head to the side thoughtfully, “I think I have anidea for a program for next year.”
Yuuri laughedand pretended that he was about to go back. “I’ll go buy it, then, shall I?”
“And this oneis good too…” Victor said thoughtfully.
This time Yuuriwas in an old war uniform that looked like it came from sometime in theprevious century. There was so much gold braid sewn over it that he suspectedthat it was really from a theatre than from an actual soldier.
“No, no, Ithink this one is much better.” He flicked over the photos on Victor’s phoneand found the one of Victor dressed as a heroine from a Jane Austen novel. “Ithink you should skate in this next year.”
Victor laughed.“Only if I can end or start with a love confession.”
Yuuri felt theblush rise to his cheeks. “Y-you’re not going to…?” he asked, unable to finishthe question.
“No, I think,I’ll stand in front of you as you wear that uniform and confess. And then themusic will start to play and I will skate. What do you think of that?” Victor’sface was full of excitement as he said this and Yuuri knew, just knew that he wouldn’t be able to talkhim out of it.
“Sh-shouldn’t Idance that? I was the one who confessed, after all.” Yuuri lowered his eyes andwondered if he should’ve said that.
Victor wrappedhim in an embrace. “No, you’ll need to come up with your own idea,” he teased.“What about chocolate? You can do the chocolate dance! Like the one in the Nutcracker!”
Yuuri laughed, burying his face in Victor’s chest.
“That will beyour short program and your free skate can be the wine dance,” Victor went on.
“Are youseriously suggesting that my theme this year should be our honeymoon?” Yuuriraised his head and looked into Victor’s face.
“Our theme,” Victor corrected him.
He didn’t knowwhat to answer to that.
It was anotherrainy autumn morning in St. Petersburg. He woke up late, his arms aroundVictor.
They’d fallenasleep in front of the TV under a thick quilt yet again.
He reached outfor the remote and turned it off as an elderly lady told him that the next weekwould have nothing but rain.
Yuuri thoughtof that warm afternoon when they walked down a street in Zurich, making plansfor the future season, holding hands tightly. He remembered the jokes they’dmade about their programs. Victor promised he would have a palace in thebackground when he skated. Yuuri promised to throw chocolates out to theaudience.
Then his eyefell on the clock on the wall. Crap!
“Victor,” hewhispered, shaking him gently. “Victor, we’re late for practice.”
“Hmm…” Victor, who was usually a morning person, dropped his head onto Yuuri’s shoulder, murmuring, “five more minutes.”
Yuuri knew whatwould happen the moment they got to practice. He could already picture thestares they would all give them. He could hear Yuri Plisetsky mutter“disgusting” under his breath as everyone else made jokes about staying uplate.
Yes, we did stay up late, he thought. There was a good movie on.
And he knewthey wouldn’t believe him, if he told them the truth.
But it was sogood to stay here, were it was dry and warm while the rain pattered against thewindows. Outside people ran through puddles shielding themselves withumbrellas, but here there was just Victor, clinging on in his sleep.
Yuuri watchedwater trail down the glass. A bright yellow leaf was stuck in the bottom rightcorner of the window. Out there their balcony chairs were getting wet.
A bird landedon the back of one of the chairs and tried to shake the rain off.
Time to go, he thought.
“Victor,” hewhispered again, “come on, you’ve had your five minutes.” He rubbed Victor’sback with a smile.
“Next on theice, representing Japan – Yuuri Katsuki-Nikiforov!”
He skated outonto the ice in a costume of black lace with red roses sewn at the waist anddown to his half skirt.
The musicstarted to play and he launched into his short program: Spanish Chocolate fromthe Nutcracker.
There wereballet elements in his program and he jumped on his skates, almost as if he wasin pointe shoes. So the dance and music were well-known, but he was stilldetermined to surprise the audience. Especially since Victor had surprisedeveryone with his routine.
He stood in front of Yuuri in the closestapproximation to a long white dress he could skate in and listened as thespeakers played a recording of a love confession and then the music started toplay and he backed away into his routine.
Afterwards everyone argued which novel hadinspired Victor. When asked he smiled and answered “my husband”.
Yuuri hadchoreographed both of his programs this time. As he went into a spin he had asudden vision of himself and Victor sometime in the future. He imagined Victorcoaching someone else and himself going on as a choreographer by his side.Victor had really grown as a coach in the last few years.
Maybe theycould go out there into the world and look for young talent.
He wonderedwhat Victor would say to that as the music ended.
But for now, he thought, bowing to theaudience, we’ll keep going for as long aswe can. Right, Victor?
He turned tosmile at his coach and husband and got a nod in return.

Jeffmads Head Cannons (I accidentally deleted the request sorry)
JEEEEEEFFFFFMAAAADSSS (Okay so I already have tons of stuff set up so I'm doing this based off of my college AU so this is a story with head cannons and such. You came for cute shit and you got angst™ and cute shit also sorry these are gonna come so late I worked on this one for an hour before falling asleep) Possible trigger warning for slight and quick talk of miscarriages and panic attacks
- they met at kindergarten and somehow are still friends

- when nap time came they slept on the same mat and used James baby blanket (they were basically spooning all the time)
-they were pretty chill with each other until like middle school when they had no classes together
- but Thomas bribed the school to get them the same schedule so that was good
- during sophomore year of school they sorta had a falling out
- Thomas embraced his polyness and was fucking a lot of people and going to a lot of parties
- and so James hung out with his other friend and to anyone they would look like a couple but they weren’t just very very platonic bros
- after a couple week Thomas started missing James so they went back to being besties but James did still hang out with Sawney (his other friend) and Thomas never really knew about him (not for any particular reason)
- Also between this time James has found out he's Asexual
- another thing that has been happening between the families is miscarriages which made James terrified at the announcement of his mother announcing she was pregnant (over and over again) and Thomas sorta started growing numb to it but he would be very excited when the baby was born and healthy
- Thomas had to comfort James a lot
- James liked to do Thomas’ makeup to calm himself down
- He is bomb at it
- anyway FLASH TO AFTER GRADUATION
- they both decide to take skip year before going to college
- after graduating Thomas decides early into this that he wants to go to France
- and so James goes with only their families knowing
- so these mother fuckers meet Lafayette at a party who had been basically disowned from his family (but Laf still had their money, karma's a bitch)
- and so they all share a small flat with a bunk bed and a twin bed
- (they definitely had makeup nights where James does everyone’s makeup and they would have themes and it was the best™)
- and them three live happily with some sexual tension™ between James and Thomas
- when the year is almost up they tell Laf they gotta go back to America
- and Laf who was learning English still but was mostly fluent with a thick accent was like hell yeah
- Thomas decided he wanted to be a lawyer because he always had a way with convincing people to do things and to listen to him and agree with his opinion
- James decided to do that to cause he didn’t know where he was gonna go otherwise and he got excepted
- Thomas bribed the school so they could be dorm mates
- As the week before school rolled around James had panic attacks nightly
- James was second guessing everything about his major and his choices of school
- he had made a few friends already but was very worried that he wouldn’t like it at all

- Thomas didn’t know this was happening till the Saturday of that week
- Thomas found James crying and breathing quickly in the bathroom (James didn't want to wake up Thomas so he went in there so Thomas wouldn't be bothered)
- a lot of comforting and reassuring
- a makeup session after
- James felt a lot better after that
- When school did start James enjoyed it a lot
- so skip to SPRING BREAK
- They both had met the squad™ (aka rev set + Aaron + Theo and Schuyler sis's + Maria)
- Thomas had started dating this kid Nathan from their home town
- so they went back to their home town over break so they could see their family (they actually hadn’t seen them since they left for France) and Thomas wanted to see Nathan
- After a party Sawney (that dude from earlier) and James met up again and James basically started staying with Sawney cause Thomas was completely ignoring him (not on purpose just was focusing on his bf and parties)
- and then Thomas started worrying a lot about James and basically after a party at Nathan’s house and James had accidentally passed out and Nathan and his buds beat up James
- soon Thomas found out and a lot of tears were shed and a lot of sadness (it was all very emotional I cried when I wrote it) there was a lot of marks and bruises
- so Thomas took James to Sawney’s and they hung out for like five seconds before Thomas left and beat the living shIT OUT OF NATHAN CAUSE NO ONE HURTS HIS JEMMY
- Thomas came back and they had another make up session
- when they got back to their dorm there was way more sexual tension since they had both realized that they had crushes on each other
- (cause beating up a guy and breaking some of his ribs can make you do some self reflection)
- so the night they came back there was snuggles and they had their first kiss
- but basically the same thing happened from the school panic attack cause James was scared of their status and if it might ruin their relationship
- but Thomas reassured him with more snuggles and happiness
- after a few day they started officially dating (everyone was like “finally!” Cause everyone saw their sexual tension)
- after that they finished school together they moved in with each other right away
- a year after that when they were all financially stable and all that jazz Thomas proposed
- he was being super romantic too
- James knew something was up but he actually started crying when Thomas pulled out the ring
- it was a beautiful night
- the
- once they got married Thomas convinced James to go to makeup school
- so from that point Thomas was the one working while James actually did what he loved
- cause James liked learning about the lawyer stuff in school but hated the actual working part of it
- so they were just liven off of that for awhile
- they never really thought about kids honestly
- especially with them living off of only Thomas’ paycheck but Thomas’ sister (Anna) got pregnant as a late teenager
- and she told Thomas and James first and she was babbling about how she couldn’t take care of it since she was too young (17)
- she really didn’t tell many until she had to and so for awhile James and Thomas had to figure out what to do
- and James at his second year of makeup school (idk if there is a correct term for that) wasn’t just learning regular make up it was some special affect stuff
- and James was like fuck it we can take the kid
- and Thomas was pretty iffy about it but James convinced him
- and Anna was very very thankful about it cause they just saved a lot of complication for her
- and these boys are like 31 now so they were more or less ready relationship wise to take care of a kid
- skips a couple years of this baby girl being 3
- Dash is super energetic, like they just let Anna choose the name cause it’s her kid but she lived up to that name
- that child always ran around
- they found it hard to keep up with her
- They had a system that worked pretty smoothly
- weirdly unlike James’ job Thomas had quite flexible hours
- so they didn’t need a babysitter to much
- Thomas had to take Dash to her first day of preschool without James cause James knew that he would cry to much
- Thomas was pretty emotional too but he kept himself together
- James would actually take Dash to his work sometimes when she got a little older if he was doing regular makeup
- she found it really cool and James liked that he knew how to make her stop jumping around so much
- but they never let her where make up out side of the house until she was at least in 8th grade
- but when she was 9 on Halloween she was a zombie and James went full on special effects on her
- she was actually a little scared when she saw the make up on her
- but they both showed her that they could take it off easily
- she never really liked wearing make up but she let James use her for little projects and such
- middle school she joined track and these little shits got so excited
- cause they could cheer on their baby girl
- they had family movie night with tons of chocolate and candy and popcorn
- they turned off all of the lights so it was like the movies
- aka family cuddling time
- and Anna would visit and such but she wasn’t stable (she was in college and had money problems) until Dash has been older so Anna would just hang out with them when she could
- After Anna finished school she actually lived an hour away so Dash stayed there for a couple week in the summer
- they hated how quite the house was
- Thomas was usually the one to take Dash shopping
- James never really liked shopping but Thomas got that shit done
- Dash also had some abandonment issues cause she was scared that one of the times she would go to Anna (who was definitely like a cool aunt to her) that her dad’s would just leave her there
- since Anna had already given her up (even though she understood those circumstances she was still scared about it)
- they were the best dad’s to help her when she had a break up
- they would dedicate a day for her if it was a super bad break up
- they let her practice track first and would time her
- then she could have James do any make up on her or Thomas that she wanted
- then a movie marathon of her favorite movies with popcorn and candy, she would usually fall asleep during the movies
- it was nicely domestic
- okay but when she graduated there was endless tears
- they were so proud
- she got a scholarship for track for college too
- they were just very very proud
- plus they weren’t ready to let go of their baby girl
- they just sorta grew old together after that
- soon retirement came for them
- and a couple of grandkids
- James died first (hA I’m not crying you’re crying) he had a weak immune system which was his downfall
- after year or two Thomas died
THAT WAS A LOT LONGER THEN ORIGINALLY INTENDED BUT MY GOD IT WAS WORTH IT
