How does the Fandom head canon Vlad’s 20 year timeline?

So we know that Vlad gets blasted by the proto portal, twenty years later, he’s an experienced half ghost, and we know of stuff that happened in between, but that in between time is a bit fuzzy.

I think that he was in and out of hospitals with ecto acne and slowly getting his powers for the first 5 years.

Year 6 He’s healthy enough to get out of the hospital and really starts training and developing his powers.

Year 7 he gets a good enough grasp on his powers that he can go out to do illegal stuff to get rich.

Around Year 17 or 18, he’s stolen enough of Jack and Maddie’s tech that he can use their blue prints to build his own working portal before they can work the bugs out of their own.

Around year 18 or 19, he starts to build connections with ghosts in the GZ like Skulker and his other minions, as well as begin his research into GZ history like that of King Dark.

And that leads us up to year 20, he reconnects with the Fentons again.

But even then I’m not totally sold on that timeline. I can definitely see arguments against it, depending on how long you see Vlad having known Skulker for, or how smart you think Vlad is. Maybe he’d never be able to figure out the portal on his own without Jack and Maddie having perfected it first and only got it working just after they did. Maybe you headcanon that Vlad was in and out of hospitals all the way up until he reconnected with Jack and Maddie.

I’m just interested in where other fan see this.

Welcome Home theme song?

Has anyone in this fandom wonder what kinda of Intro Welcome Home would have? It's got to get stuck in you head right. But it can't be inherently sinister sounding, Because logically it wouldn't fly if it were a real show.

Anyways trying to think up some lyrics. Something like "hey hey its a brand new Day, come out and play. And meet your neighbors..." the song intro would have with the Line "and Wellcome Home."

Hello! Wandering through your super blog I found that you'd already posted a F3 fanfic. I didn't look into it because I'm afraid of spoilers and want to let The Broken Bridge story linger on longer and properly with all the details and atmosphere. But did I guess right, it's a draft for TBB?

Thanks for the compliments, but no, this wasn't an idea for TBB. I've started with this fanfic long before and stopped writing it. It also has nothing to do with Frozen 3, it's more like a prequel to Frozen 1, when Agnarr just met Iduna. I ran out of ideas in the end.

What's happening with Theo Solomon is so, so frustrating and needless and disgusting (more info can be found at this post), and I also want to acknowledge the treatment of Wyll's original voice/mo-cap actor, Lanre Malaolu.

Malaolu gave an excellent performance! His delivery and the way he incorporated mannerisms and posture into Wyll's physicality was amazing. The original characterization of Wyll was written very well and matched the general tone of the wider party/narrative.

And to suddenly have Larian, years into the project, rewrite the character entirely and then re-cast it? To have other actors talk about how Wyll just 'wasn't working' as a character? All because of fan criticism that places ridiculous (and often contradictory) standards and expectations on black characters. Even if the re-cast resulted from scheduling conflicts (as Malaolu couldn't come in to re-record), we lost Malaolu's entire performance because of a rewrite that was simply not necessary.

And after disregarding Malaolu's years of work into this character, the same criticisms that Larian caved into are thrown at Wyll's rewrite, and the same disregard is being seen with Theo Solomon again and again. As someone who started playing early access when it first came out, fans' treatment of Wyll and his actors hasn't gotten better. It's actively gotten worse.

it's immensely funny to me how andrew lloyd webber read this passage from the book and was like yeah the journey down to the phantom's lair is this really breathtaking magical gondola ride where christine is just captivated by the strange and fantastical beauty of it all (see below)

when in the novel they're both like in a rowboat in the dark with christine scared out of her mind and confused as hell while erik is paddling like he's out for an extreme day of fishing and just staring christine down for the entire duration of the journey without blinking once . like mind you his eyes quite literally GLOW in the DARK and he's just fucking staring into her soul and silently rowing and probably not even breathing like
