Vecna tries to get into all of the boys’ minds but he’s unsuccessful except with Will.

He tries to taunt Mike by saying to him that it’s his fault that El is gone but this gets blocked out by Mike’s happy place/memory and it’s of him playing D&D. There’s a rainbow dice basically wiping Vecna away in that sequence lmao…and you also hear Will’s voice. (Some people have already posted about it in the tag so I won’t add pics).

The part about the happy place/memory thing is super interesting because the writers decided to make Lucas’ happy place a memory of him and Max at the movies, even tho atp in the story they have not met. It’s set pre S2….which makes you wonder why they couldn’t make Mike’s happiest memory be one with El…

Another insane sequence is the moment where Will breaks out of Vecna’s vision…Will got a nosebleed in the real world and Mike is wiping the blood off his nose, and Will focuses on this to get out of Vecna’s hold and walk into that moment, just like Max did in S4. There’s a few interesting moments of dialogue from that sequence because as this is happening Vecna keeps taunting Will in the background. Lemme share some interesting screenshots.

The first is this quote from Vecna saying that through Will he will get into his friends’ minds…with Mike being heavily focused on….

This one is just crazy…Vecna saying “you’ll finally matter to someone, Will” and Mike’s all up on the screen lol

And this one is the most insane one imo. It’s the end of the sequence with Will coming back to himself, and Vecna is bothered that his friends (cough Mike) brought him back. At the same time he says “you are alone” Mike is asking him if he’s okay, basically proving Vecna wrong.

And that’s what he’s always been for Will, he’s always pulling him out of all his episodes, has always been his light.

I really don’t think Vecna is anticipating queer love to save the day but….lol

One last thing I want to mention if that even tho the game takes place pre S2, the characters are wearing clothes from all seasons, Lucas is able to see Max in a memory before he’s even met her, and Mike literally says to Will at one point “you look like a time traveller”

So I think time fuckery is basically a given in S5, be it inter dimensional time travel or whatever people wanna call it lol.

As for the canonicity of the game, they consulted Paul Dichter, who was a co-writer on a few episodes, including Will the Wise and Dear Billy. Make of that what you will.

she is so layered and complex. idk i think her lines are funny and all but also there is a lot more than that. like people often mistake her for being ‘dumb’ but she’s actually like really emotionally intelligent. and she’s a good friend, she tries her best, etc. i also find that she’s very open in general, which gets mistaken for being naïve, but it’s not she just views the good in people rather than the bad (seen especially with santana. like artie insinuating santana’s a bad person and brittany getting defensive, but then britt not holding a grudge against him either bc even though it wasn’t cool, she knows he’s a nice person and didn’t mean it, etc. like people need that patience that she has in her life) but also if she’s particularly upset with something, she doesn’t know how to handle it which like. idk. i find her character very interesting to analyze so. But i also think she’s like funny and relatable so i guess that’s another big reason LOL.

Am I the only one who didn't mind the love triangle with Steve, Nancy and Jonathan in s4??? Like maybe it's just bc I love Steve so much and I want him to be happy and it was really obvious Nancy was also interested in s4, but like. It didn't feel out of left field or anything to me, and I don't think it ruined any of the three characters.

Like the only thing id say is that Nancy is way more than just a girl in a love triangle, like some ppl seem to want to make her out to be. If Jonathan and Steve are fully characters while being in a love triangle, so is Nancy, like come on!!!

But like other than that, I loved it! I usually don't like love triangles but I really loved this one. Like it makes sense, I don't think Steve ever got over Nancy, that's clear with how he looks at her at the end of S2 and even tho he says he doesn't love her anymore to Robin in S3, idk, I believe him, but I also believe that he still has feelings for her in S4.

I think their interactions are so cute, his horrible attempt at doing the Sherlock Holmes quote, Nancy saving him, patching him up, idk, I just thought it was really cute. And also, like, the six nuggets story was so adorable and sweet and cute and idk I don't understand why ppl hated it so much or thought it was out of character, it literally felt like Steve Harrington. Like yeah I agree, saying that to your ex is kinda weird lol, but other than that I thought it was adorable. It is blatantly clear Nancy is just as into him still as he is to her, so it isn't like this one sided weirdness or anything. Idk.

I'll be happy whether Jonathan and Nancy stay together (kinda hope they do), or Steve and Nancy get together (I do think they work better as friends tho it's cute) or Nancy and Robin get together (they're so cute), but idk. I do hate how Jonathan and Nancy aren't really talking and being honest with each other, it's realistic but it's so annoying.

Since there's gonna be a timeskip in season 5, I wonder what's gonna happen, I mean, maybe just let them all be single and figure shit out, you don't have to be in a relationship, and they can still all be friends and shit. Idk. I just don't hate the stancy shit like so many seem to. I really liked it and I thought it was really cute.

We were supposed to go to dinner together - my mom, my Dad, and I, and she was gonna meet us at the restaurant, but she never showed. Two hours later, we went home, and there was a detective waiting for us. Detective Raglin. They found her body. She had been stabbed. She still had her money and purse and jewelry. And it wasn't a sexual assault, either. They attributed it to gang violence. Random wayward event. So, just like in Melanie's case, they couldn't think outside the box. So, they just tries to package it up nicely. And the killer was never caught.

3)Well the reason that i absolute love yvette route is how human and flawed are everyone here(Yvette,MC etc); Like Persona series the characters,morality,etc are REALLY grey Here in Yvette route so far i just realized that is Persona 5 Royal lovechild:They will do everything to get they happy ending and anyone standing in her way would burn(I quoted Jadetea fic Reverie,which sparked my interest on Yvette and the SWM series);while the Phantom Thieves of Hearts doing for what I was able to understand is a metaphorical brainwashing{which put both parts on being Anti heroes/Byronic heroes},both sunken to their lowest points[Yvette and MC in S2,Phantom Thieves with the Okumura Arc) with a combination of being betrayed someone they trust(voluntarily with Black Mask ,Accidentally with Nahara[don't worry everyone I forgave her and while doing her route later,it scream Charmed{Telefilm} vibe],Villains messing with them(Vuzgamad and Trudy on Yvette route;Black Mask and Samael on P5 Royal) by exploiting their flaws,wishes and ironically(or maybe not) their best traits,but eventually the villains plans backfire on them since it kickstart for both Yvette+MC and the Phantom Thieves and not only managing to own the villains(and own their issues),learned from their mistakes which lead to Yvette S3(my favourite season so far) and Samael Arc on P5 royal,in which they rise above it(The previous seasons/arcs)!That and both stories are full angsts and never a joy for the main characters and their LI seriously🥺

I've played the persona series but it didn't really cross my mind how similar it is to Yvette's route with the grey morality stuff. I can't really say much for P5R since I haven't played it yet, but the last seasons of Yvette gave me P3 vibes but I didn't really make the connection until you pointed it out lol

Hi anon 🥰🥰 I love your ask! I also love the bridge scene you’re talking about. Lol I too was like, “how tf are they going to resolve Cris being such a dick towards Amira???” And then they delivered the highkey most romantic scene all season. 

I love eskam lmao, they really took to heart that quote about female friendships being the most crucial and important (I tried to search for it to quote it exactly, but I couldn’t find it 🥺 someone reply to me or send it to me if they know which quote I’m talking about, it’s on a lot of eskam gifsets), but they also just went, “and also female friendships are extremely romantic experiences for all involved!” Whew!!

It’s no wonder Irene thought the scene needed to end with Cris just going for it and kissing Amira gvhvhsh. Irene can be a headass sometimes, but she was right on the money there. 

Yass, another convert to the Sana/Vilde train! I just want to make clear that I know the ship has... its issues, to say the least lol. When I first got into it, it was before Skam s4 started dropping. In s3, Sana and Vilde seem to get along well (likely because Isak doesn’t know them that well, and also Isak isn’t exactly the wokest character on the show uhh), so I kind of figured that, in s4, Julie would either write a sl where Vilde understands she fucked up, or maybe that Julie would say they got to an understanding off-screen. Instead, Julie really just gave me Vilde stabbing Sana in the back one last time! 😬🙂 When she told Pepsi Max about how Elias called Sana his slave.

So yeah, in my mind these Sana/Vilde ships never happen without the Vilde thoroughly making up for her racism and islamophobia. And I get why people wouldn’t be into the ship even with Vilde repenting, just to be clear!

I LOVED season 1 and 2 of the crown but found season 3 quite dull and difficult to get through. I'm enjoying season 4 (still havent finished bc I watch with my family and we're rarely all together) but I think that the earlier seasons were a lot better in my opinion

All in all, the writing for the first two seasons were WAY better. My ranking is s2 > s1 > s4 >>>>> s3. In my opinion, season three was kind of terrible.

hahaha this is so so long.

In the first two seasons each episode’s mini story for the day was actually INTERESTING. Like, I loved where one episode was about the Mountbatten name and then the next was about the Great Smog! But, there was always an overarching plot and it always added up in the end. S1, S2 and S4 all had an overarching plot that worked! S1 was balancing family and the crown. S2 was balancing prime ministers and her husband. S4 was the downfall of Margaret Thatcher and Charles/Diana. S3 LITERALLY HAD NO PLOT! It was just a bunch of stories put together. The finale for season 3 was about the end of Margaret’s marriage! And although, it is an important event in the family’s history the fact that it was the finale episode????

Anyways, Season 3 genuinely just sucks. Season 4 is REALLY good. Yet, it still doesn’t leave as much of an affect on me like the earlier seasons. AND LIKE I KNOW BECAUSE I’VE REWATCHED THE FIRST THREE SEASONS SO MANY TIMES. I’ve only seen the fourth once because I’m too busy and it’s also too early for me to rewatch it. So, maybe my opinion of season 4 will change!

SEASON ONE

101 Wolferton Splash - 10/10 this episodes just sets everything up! we see how happy the marriage is and how loving king george is and we also see the FORSHADOWING!! we see lilibet and phillip making their life thinking they had time when we know they don’t and it’s just :( AN AMAZING PILOT EPISODE WITH AMAZING QUOTES!

102 Hyde Park Corner - 1000/10 this episode needs no explanation. the suspense and DRAMA right before lilibet finds out about her dad ALWAYS gets me!!

103 Windsor - 10/10 I hated this episode the first time I watched it! I didn’t understand the importance of her uncle and I didn’t understand the complexity behind the episode. I was 14 when I saw this episode for the first time! So, mind you I was quite ignorant. but, david basically represents the audience in the show for those who hate the monarchy and call them out on their hypocrisy. BUT DAVID IS A TERRIBLE PERSON! FUCK DAVID! i understand hating the monarchy and for him i know it was personal but the way he talks about his family in the letters UGHUGHGUHGUHGUHGUH this man is evil! there’s also the other story in the episode about the mountbatten name which is so brilliant!

104 Act of God - 15/10 this episode was boring on first watch but I WAS FOURTEEN! this episode took a break from the monarchy and concentrated on a british national horrific event THAT WAS IMPORTANT and i liked how it connected throughout the episode and all that and the CINEMATOGRAPHY OMGGGGG! anyways, something that pisses me off about this episode is that the crown kind of has the same kind of audience as euphoria! they only care about a hot actor or iconic character or the aesthetics AND THAT MAKES ME ANGRY! bc those are the ppl who call this episode the boring fog episode and the latest episode of euphoria a waste of time! they don’t understand the importance of what their watching. an event that killed hundreds by something that could have been avoided bc of science and for euphoria an ongoing pandemic of an ugly world and its affect on ppl not wanting to go on! IM SORRY THIS TURNED INTO A RANT but this episode is important in reminding audiences that disasters can be avoided but also once they happen anything can happen THIS WAS A SAD EPISODE OKAY AND I LOVED VENETIA SCOTT!

105 Smoke and Mirrors - 100/10 THE CORONATION EPISODE! Phillip tries to bring it to the common public and all the fighting between them just makes the coronation even more impactful when we watch it!

106 Gelignite - 8/10 I DESPISED MARGARET IN THE FIRST SEASON i saw her as a spoiled brat who wanted to marry her dad’s assistant! AND ALSO HOW DID SHE NOT REALIZE THERE WAS DEFINITE GROOMING INVOLVED! this episode is generally very good but margaret just pisses me off a lot! however, her not being able to marry peter boresend shouldn’t have been because of his divorcee status but bc he simply was a predator in anyone’s clear eyes IM SORRY IF YOU DISAGREE BUT SHE MET HIM SO YOUNG NO WAY THERE WAS NO GROOMING good episode but pissed off at margaret’s lack of critical thinking besides but I WANT HIMMMMM LIKE I WANT EVERYTHING

107 Scientia Potentia Est - 11/10 hated this when i first watched it! but now one of my favorites! lilibet feels dumb and needs a tutor! prime minister and wannabe prime minister have health problems and keep it from her! lilibet finds out by accident and they all get yelled at! I LOVE WHEN SHE YELLS AT MEN!

108 Pride & Joy - 10/10 this episode is just adds on to the overarching plot of the season: balancing the crown and family. margaret says disrespectful things to ppl who don’t deserve it in place of lilibet while she’s on the commonwealth tour fighting with her husband! then lilibet scorns margaret and we see an ugly papa loved me more argument! absolutely brilliant!

109 Assassins - 1000/10 hated it the first time but now I LOVE THIS EPISODE! it’s the painting and porchey episode and churchill leaving episode. It’s so so so good! i honestly have no words to describe the brilliance of this episode besides the acting done by almost the entire main cast CLAIRE WOW! MATT WOW! STEPHEN (THE PAINTER) WOW! JOHN WOW! HARRIET WOW! when we see the painting getting burned coincided w the downing st dinner GETS ME EVERYTIME I LOVE IT SO SO MUCH!

110 Gloriana - 100/10 the climactic fight between the crown and family! which will lilibet choose?? and the foreshadowing to suez MWAH!

201 Misadventure - 100/10 LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS EPISODE the cutesy lilibet and phillip until it all goes down WOW! and the suez stuff i love it all

202 A Company of Men - 100/10 this is where i think mike’s wife starts snooping or it’s the next episode BUT THIS IS WHERE SOMETHING BEGINS FOR SURE first of all it foreshadows the episode later in the season about philip’s childhood AND MATT’S ACTING!! it’s too good for words!

203 Lisbon - 100/10 i like it when they fight lol that’s the only way i know how to describe why i love it LILIBET WAS EXCITED TO SEE HIM AND SO WAS HE but then mike ruined it by being a disgraceful and dishonest man RUINING EVERYTHING

204 Beryl - 10/10 i start to like margaret bc i feel bad for her! she’s suffering she’s sad that her lil predator boyfriend is no longer w her but look who it is MATTHEW GOODE! he not suspicious at all but the writers are like here take 20 minutes of perfect chemistry between the actors!

205 Marionettes - 100/10 I LOVE THIS EPISODE basically someone who loves the monarchy insults the monarchy and lilibet actually goes to listen to them! w resistance of course but she still took everything he said to fix the monarchy !

206 Vergangenheit - 1000/10 one of my favorites! i didn’t know about david’s nazi past so when i watched this episode for the first time i was completely baffled! another episode where she yells at a man!!!! i’m always annoyed in this episode tho by all the talk from the priest about forgiveness bc im like why would u want to forgive david for being a nazi?? but i think it was intentional by the writers to show the importance of understanding forgiveness and the grounds for it! THIS EPISODE IS JUST PERFECT IM ANNOYED BC I DON’T WANT TO FORGIVE HIM

207 Matrimonium - 9/10 this episode is amazing BEFORE you’ve seen season three bc you root for margaret and tony! but, also throughout the episode there’s all that tony and family and his gf and bf stuff that you think is going to lead somewhere but doesn’t??? like what was the point of introducing his mother and his relationships if it was going nowhere and not even mentioned in season 3??? LIKE WHAT WAS THE POINT WHAT WAS THE REASON? but, also there’s lilibet and phillip fluff in this episode I LOVE

208 Dear Mrs. Kennedy - 10/10 this episode is fun as an american bc i think jackie kennedy and jfk are so idolized here in america it was so interesting to see this other pov! 301 Olding - 5/10 weak starter but good for introducing olivia as lilibet and harold wilson and departing churchill BUT THAT’S IT! like the whole spy thing just went bleh LIKE IT HAD POTENTIAL but it needed early seasons writing not third season writing techniques TOBIAS DID A GREAT JOB THO IN THIS EPISODE HE WAS A GREAT RECAST FOR PHILIP

302 Margaretology - 6/10 okay. just okay. margaret kind of bratty but you actually feel bad for her then she gets bratty again and then you feel bad for her again and the scenarios in the episode just didn’t feel real like the whole lyndon b johnson was so jealous of jfk that he was rude to the queen so they sent margaret JUST DIDN’T MAKE SENSE like i know this show is fictional but the fiction tends to be believable until i research the episode afterwards BUT FOR THIS it just didn’t make sense

303 Aberfan - 1000/10 ONE OF THE GOOD EPISODES OF THE SEASON! those first fifteenish minutes??? TEARS! i never knew about aberfan until this episode and seeing this episode made me cry!

305 Coup - 8/10 this had potential I FEEL LIKE IF THEY WROTE THIS EPISODE DIFFERENTLY LIKE HOW THEY WROTE ONE OF THE SUEZ EPISODE IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCH BETTER the fact that it all went to nothing and nothing basically happened WHAT WAS THE POINT

ALAS, what i would like to say is that i feel that season 4 shouldn’t have been so diana centric! it was diana from the beginning of the season to the end! not, that i don’t love the whole diana story but it was dragged and i think she should have been introduced around the third/fourth episode of this season the same way tony was in season two! camilla should have arrived at the beginning of season 4 so that the intensity between camilla, charles and diana was more believable! if we season three wasn’t so spread out they could have had more brilliant episode.

Thoughts on the way they'll end t100? It's not like I trust him but he's got 2 huge examples (thanks to D&D and Rob Thomas) of what fans DO NOT want. Fans don't want despair or plot twits for shock value that ignore the narrative. Plot twists are supposed to be shocking but believable, not a way to feel superior. Always thought C or BC'd die saving their ppl but now it's like what people? sakjdha so idk. It'd be nice if he let the heroes overcome their trauma. It'd give meaning to the story....

I have never, not once, thought the story would end with Clarke or Bellarke dying. Let’s go back to what the show means, shall we? It’s about the surviving of the human race, through a “future generation”, on which lies every desperate hope possible: one, they’re delinquants/criminals, “lost cause” in the eyes of their governement. Two, they’re sent to die (hence, why they survive). Three, they’re sent on a “dead” planet, by a dying civilization. What we discover in the spam of very few episodes after this beginning is that: our “delinquants” aren’t so bad. They all have a history and a capacity to do better, and they even have excuses and/or explanations for what they did. Clarke ended up in a cell to die just because her father wanted to save the Ark. Bellamy ended up “shooting the chancellor” (*gasp* a killer!) to save his sister and because he was manipulated by someone else. And of all the mass of delinquants we’ve had, Monty, Jasper, Harper, Octavia, Finn, Murphy, all these people have shown an ability to love, to be compassionate, to think about what they were doing, to be brave and be afraid, to make mistakes and attone for said mistakes, etc. I have NEVER felt as if one of the plot twists of The 100 came out of nowhere. I have seen Finn’s death, and Lxa’s death come from miles away. And even tho there are storylines that I didn’t like (them going back on the ring at the end of s4 for example), the hints were there. It “made sense” in an idea of survival, even tho one could argue that it was far fetched and that a bunch of teenagers managing to pull that out is “CW material”. Yeah, it kinda is, but it never shocked me as in “OMG I WOULDA NEVER SEEN IT COMING FROM THIS TV SHOW”. And I will have to say that Clarke being left behind was also heavily “teased”/foreshadowed during this season. There was a reason as to why she became a nightblood, ya kno. Clarke was always the self-sacrificing character who always put others’ lives above her own. It was classic Clarke, like easily. But I mean, how many times Clarke has proven that? Has shown how much she’s willing to give for the others? Is that really the message the show wants to send with Clarke Griffin? “Keep sacrificing, it ends at one point”? No. Clarke’s story is all about redemption and hope and humanity. Humanity doesn’t end with death- especially not on this show as we see the idea of PROSPERITY being a big thing, especially through Becca. Clarke is basically our Becca. She has been hated for some of her decisions and actions and yes, somehow, she is responsible for a great deal of pain for a lot of people (MW especially, for example). But she’s a savior too. She’s someone who is always willing to put herself on the line, to inject herself with radioactive blood and to take chips and Flames in order to save humanity. She’s also someone who hasn’t allowed herself to be happy for a very long time. Thing is, while Becca had to sacrifice a lot - even herself at the end - for her cause, Clarke has to learn and to teach us better lessons. Clarke has to resurface. Clarke pointing a gun at her face in tonight’s episode is NOT the end of her story. It’s the crucible of her life, the pain, the guilt, the struggle. And as far as what Jroth said, the idea is not to condemn humanity through this show. For the characters, it seems that it’s been a long desperate walk among the worst kind of humans possible. But at the same time, they met people they learnt to love, people with whom they’ve mend their differences. Niylah, Lxa, Indra, E/cho, Emori, Maya, Gabriel. Even Clarke and Jospehine have learn to kinda live and work together at the end of this particular journey. What we saw from Clarke, contrary to Josephine, was her ability to SYMPATHIZE with Josephine and her struggles and her sadness (ie, the scene with Gabriel having a cancer and all, Clarke DOES feel for Josephine and Gabriel in this situation). To me, there are several quotes scattered through the entire show that do imply a happy ending. A HOPEFUL ending. “See? There’s hope for us yet” that’s one thing. “Do you still have hope?” “Are we still breathing?” as long as you’re alive, you can turn the page. I know we keep referring to that regarding Bellarke, but it’s much bigger than Bellarke. It’s an idea for the entire show. And you know what? Turning the page is ALSO another quote that has come back through the show. Do better. Be better. And you can’t do that if you’re dead. You can’t even do that, even if you sacrifice yourself for the noblest cause possible. What I’d love as an end for the show, is if Clarke was willing to sacrifice herself, minutes, seconds away from doing it, and that people would NOT give up on her. That her friends would come and save her and help her, and be a unit working to keep living- all of them. No sacrifice, no loss accepted, always the hope to do better. It’s like I said, like Arrow, like Supernatural- after so much struggle, you can’t, you CANNOT end these kind of storylines with the message being “and then you die lol”. I said it, if Oliver Queen dies by the end of Arrow, the show would have been worth NOTHING because there is the “purpose” of your show, and there’s the SOUL of your show. And the soul of Arrow is Oliver Queen, a damaged, depressed, PTSD-ridden character who deserves to see that he has a better chance in life. Who deserves to see that after everything he’s been through, he can TURN THE PAGE and let his weapons down and have a chance at being a better person, living a better life. Now adressing VM and GoT. So coming from Rob Thomas we have confirmation that VM is NOT over. At least, it’s not what he intends, we’ll see if the audience follows. VM losing Logan is not the end of her journey, and even tho yes, it’s shitty what he did, it’s not the “final message” he wants to send with this character (to me… too many “reboots” are too many reboots. He shoulda left the show where it ended with the movie, end of story). We don’t know what will be VM’s final “journey” or the key ending of the character. On the other hand… well GoT. Objectively. GoT has a VERY good ending. “Good” as in very cheesy, very fairytale-like, very lovey dovey boo-boo. Did you really imagine that many characters surviving? That many characters “reaching their dream jobs” like Podrick and Brienne, or Tyrion, the Starks or Samwell, etc? I think that’s one element that has disappointed me with GoT too. That was one show where hope was a tiny tiny thread of light and where I was ready to get WRECKED and lose a lot of the characters I loved, and see from the ashes of it, the survivors rebuild everything. (I had watched videos speculating that EVERYONE would die!) What we got? That’s a freaking miracle, I mean, I hate a lot of things, but hello ma boi Podrick is alive! Davos is alive! No more Starks died! Heck, even Winterfell was still standing after everything! It was even TOO good/too cheesy considering what we got before and that was one of my problems. To be honest, I could not tell what was the message D&D intended with this ending, because I really CANNOT read what they did with it. From ep 8x03 to ep 8x04 it seems like two different shows, where characters have different goals all the sudden, and they have different mindsets, and they just don’t communicate anymore. I swear, words can’t describe how much I hate it. Thing is, GoT is an anomaly. And seeing the way the audience reacted to it, it’s proof of that. GoT’s ending was half-assed, and that’s no secret. D&D were tired of it, end of story. It was obvious that they needed more, if not WAY MORE than 8 seasons to build all of this, they refused it and just did THAT instead. I’m pretty sure D&D had nothing but GRRM’s final “goals” for the characters (Dany dead, Jon NoTW, Sansa Queen etc) and just rushed to these in a hot second without really weighing these “destinies”. For example, I think in the books if Bran becomes King, it will be of a VERY different system than the one Westeros has right now. And I don’t mean “oh the chair is destroyed and now three idiots elect the King instead of it being given by blood”, I mean, no council, nothing of this old, twisted and rotten system that has proven to be wrong from the beginning of the story. Thing is, seeing GoT’s, GRRM’s story is pretty clear and straight-forward and no death and no “plot twist” is shocking. You can see it all coming from miles away (the Red Wedding, Ned’s death, Robert’s death, etc) because it’s so well crafted. And it was so well done during these years of the show as well. But D&D never had the talent GRRM has, and it showed for the rest of the show. I mean, hello, it’s so well done in the books that ever since 1996 people have been speculating that L+R = J. Imagine that if D&D had to do it themselves? I’m just laughing imagining the lack of build-up and then them blurting it out at some point just to “shock the audience”. I don’t think Jroth, despite his flaws, would EVER do that. He won’t turn Clarke into a villain last minute. He won’t have Bellamy kill Clarke after everything they’ve been through. And I don’t think either that was what GoT was supposed to be, because at the end, the story is still GRRM’s, and I don’t think AT ALL that this is what he has in mind (to make it simple: it couldn’t even work considering ALL the storylines there are in the books that aren’t on the show). Going back to The 100, I think the show has always been very consistent, and I think that despite there being things I don’t like (for example, bleggo), the characters aren’t heavily changed to justify these kinds of storyline (Bellamy is not a completely different character, he’s still Bellamy at his core, the problem is that the writers never cared to SHOW us the process of him accepting E/cho and building a relationship with her- which is… at least more acceptable than him becoming a totally different character to justify it). I don’t think Jroth’s goal has ever been to “subvert expectations”, he’s NEVER expressed himself like that, except maybe when he focused too much on his AI plot twist instead of seeing the consequences of his queerbaiting and how the fans would react to Lxa dying (even tho I will ALWAYS say it, her death was HEAVILY FORESHADOWED, but it’s easy for fans to ignore what they want to ignore). And I think he’s learnt his lesson, from that moment. And I do believe him when he says he’s had the blue prints of the show in his mind from the start and that he’s going to committ to it because it’s something he cares about that much. And again, I don’t think the message of this whole story could be “don’t worry at the end you’ll die and that’s it”. It’s not the kind of message this network would send anyway (CW). And I don’t think that’s what Jroth intended and it was kinda implied in this interview he did with Kshum. He does say “WELL KIM WANTED THIS-” as if it was HER desire and not his. His intention is not to destroy everything and kill everyone just to be edgy. He has a desire to express something with this show. Destruction is not a way of expressing anything. So even if he expresses it as “we wanted another Apocalypse at the end of s5″ he still intended SOMETHING (characters) to survive from it. When I worry about these kinds of things, I always think about what JKR said. Dying in a war is probably the easiest thing, surviving it and rebuilding from it and learning from it, is the hardest thing to do. That’s why, to me, as bittersweet of an ending THG’s ending is, it’s THE BEST ending to a modern dystopian series to date. It is as cruel as it is important. It is a redemption for Katniss and for Panem just as much. It is embracing the future and acknowledging the scars of the past too. And I think The 100 is about that too. I 100% think that the moral of this story - The 100 - is hope against all odds. Humanity over inhumanity. Living over dying. It’s always about bringing back life and hope in the most desperate and dark situations. I think the moral of the show can be summed up in the Culling scene from 1x05. You think humanity will fail, but at the end of the day, it’ll prevail, it’ll prove better. No matter what we think after 6 seasons, the heart of the show is still Clarke Griffin, a girl living by the model of her father who died, thinking humanity would do better. Hoping against all odds is kind of a burden, it’s a struggle, but it has to pay off for the story to have meaning. I know Jroth already called this show a tragedy, but I think he meant as this show having “dark” characters, dealing with internal struggles and very humanly basic questions. What is bad, what is good. Who is the good guy, HOW are we the good guys, HOW do we do better, etc. Again it can be confirmed with how his vision with Kshum’s vision of a tragedy that is “everyone dies and the ending sucks”. The story can’t have meaning if you don’t answer these questions by the end of your story. I think this story has more of an Odysseus vibes. The characters are seeking home and are struggling through false hopes and they’re losing their ways. But at the end, Ulysse found his way back home and got his “happy ending”, no matter how dark it got along the way, or how many times he (almost) lost hope.

I read Charlie talking about EM in some interviews at giffoni . I translated some of it, so the translation might be a bit off, he said, 'a very ambitious project, we're trying to see if it's feasible' +'we are trying to figure out where to start'. I'm confused, did they start preproduction(set design, book locations) realised it was a bigger project than they thought and delayed it? If Charlie is in s4 he won't be available to film till next summer.

Candice's answer about Iris' journalism, how at a time like what we have when journalists are being stomped on was perfect. She worded that so eloquently. The power of words and reporting the truth couldn't be more important than today. I especially enjoyed Tom C nodding in agreement. He was seriously right there with her on that. Lastly, I enjoyed Grant pumping his fist for reporter Iris on ET. You can count on him to be enthused about anything canon comic related. Costar support at its best.

Aww, I loved all these moments too! This con was pretty lowkey, but we got some lovely cast interactions and responses. Definitely got me looking forward to the season.

Sadly, he will not be. It sounds like he won’t even be in the premiere, if their responses are anything to go by. He’ll be in 3 episodes of Flash, though.

Yes, I think that’s very likely. It might take some time, since Rebirth had the opportunity to introduce her and didn’t, but I’m sure she’ll eventually make her way in there one way or another.

What do you think of the Birds of Prey movie news? I’m kind of sad Barbara Gordon won’t be in it but also excited that Cassandra Cain will. I have mixed feelings about Harley tho.

I’m on the same wavelength as you about it. Of course I’m thrilled about Cassandra Cain - and Renee Montoya presumably playing the Jim Gordon equivalent of the film - but I will miss Babs. Dinah, Cass and Helena will make a great trio though. I wish Harley wasn’t a part of it, that’s kind of random. Unless she’s the villain, I guess?

Hello. I don’t know if you know the answer or not but I thought I’d ask you because I think if anyone knows it’s you. Is Candice’s dog Zoë a rescue dog from a shelter or from a breeder?

I don’t know the answer, sadly. My friend Jess says maltipoos are usually from breeders, but I did Google and found that they are available in LA shelters as well. She doesn’t use the hashtag #AdoptDontShop for Zoë, but she has promoted shelters on her IG recently. So really it could go either way. 

I like W*stallen more but I hate how the fandom online is so anal about only shipping W*stallen. Like if you ship Barry or Iris with anyone else it’s being racist or bad for CP. they tried to say I was faking shipping W*stallen???? that makes no sense. I think the fandom is pushing people away by being so militant. I kinda wanna stop posting Flash stuff because of the hate I get. It’s really frustrating and I’ve never experienced this before.

It’s definitely your prerogative to ship Barry with anyone else you want in addition to Iris, and I personally would love to see more people genuinely shipping Iris outside of Barry. Usually what I see is people paying lip service to multi-shipping Iris, but pretty much ignoring her other ships in favor of pairing Barry with others.

That being said, I’ve found that most fandoms I’ve wandered into get into fights about multi-shipping. I mean, when shipping non-canon ships it’s rarely an issue, but in the SM age where fans can berate content creators about changing shipping lanes and where endgames are seen as prizes that can be won by who’s the loudest online, it makes sense that some people are threatened by canon multi-shipping.

But no one needs to put up with attacks in their inboxes or on their positive posts/gifsets about another character or ship. The only thing I can suggest to you is to block anyone who does that and go about your business and your enjoyment.

Now obviously 3x11 introduced us to Gypsy in a big way & the second Cisco laid eyes on her, you can tell he was smitten. He is throughout the episode and honestly, it’s pretty adorable. So yeah, Gypsy flirting with him & him constantly trying to get her to go out on a date with him? Yeah, I was instantly intrigued by each interaction they had in that episode. They had a chemistry right away. They teased her coming back but I didn’t ship it yet cuz I didn’t know whether to trust that or not with the way they’d played my boy in the past. But still, I was definitely ready to ship if she came back. That almost kiss!!!

Omg 3x14 gave us some good stuff here! Gypsy coming back had me excited cuz I thought she was an interesting character who (haha) vibed well with Cisco. The second I knew I was shipping these two regardless if she was gonna keep coming back or not was their last scene of the ep. She spontaneously kisses him (which gave Jesse & Wally’s priceless reactions I had to get a cap of cuz LOL) & tells him that he couldn’t handle her, kisses him & walks away! That sass tho!!! And he just says “I wanna marry that girl” XD Priceless.

Um, definitely them having her say that their long distance relationship where they barely saw each other was enough even though they loved each other & I mean… it wasn’t so much OOC. I get it with Gypsy’s character but it was really frustrating imo. They barely had screentime in S4. We didn’t really get to be invested in their relationship & then they broke them up like that. I just want my boy Cisco to have love & Gypsy was perfect for him I thought. When he teared up in this scene I wanted to hug him!
