oh my god, they both ditched the port mafia two years ago and never realized the other did too. "why are you here??" "tf do you mean why i'm here, why are YOU here?? you're a port mafia CADRE??"

My idea is that everything is almost the same: the whole of Dark Era happened, Dazai left, the bomb in the car happened, the whole thing. But!

In the Dark Era light novel, when Dazai goes to Mori to request help for Oda, he mentions forming a "small team of executive-level ability users". Obviously, that idea never came to be, but Chuuya fits that description, so what if Dazai had followed through on that idea? Because of the timing, Oda still dies, that team never made it, but now Chuuya is involved in that mess.

The aftermath of Dark Era has grey areas, and by playing with that, Chuuya, now personally involved in these events, struggles to accept Mori's "sacrifices (of our own people) must be made for the greater good" philosophy, realizes the threat can come from the inside, and after a while, decides that he needs to leave and find a better way to protect (not save!) people.

While Dazai goes directly to Taneda, we know Chuuya has history with Ango (plus he's also involved in this) and that's who he goes to for help. Ango knows about Dazai's plans, mentions Chuuya to Taneda, and Taneda is delighted. He decides to do the same thing with Chuuya he's doing with Dazai. The PM just manipulated them into giving out a legal permit, two can play at that game.

And that's what leads us to a two-year-long buildup to Taneda's greatest punchline yet

i find quite ironic that most if not all of the lilia cards have lots of hp because hes very old and has lived a long life but very low power because hes losing his magic

except his general card. it has lots of power, as he was on the most powerful point in his life, and not that high hp, as he wasnt that old back then

great storytelling device but it fucking sucks that most lilia cards are useless in terms of power rip

Hey babes, sorry I've been dead, but I coulda been literally dead if I had not gone.

I didn't hurt myself and we're still figuring things out. I would love to share but I've already forgotten what I've learned. I hope I get more guidance and time for healing and learning on how to lead my life in a better direction than where I was. But that takes time and effort.

I hope to get some rest, get some support, and get it together. But right now, I don't think it's healthy for me to worry about art in the way I do now. I may not express it here, but trying to maintain my art endeavors/projects while there's so much bullshit going on backstage is not helping me. Especially since I'm not even obligated to do so. But trying to force myself to do something I am currently unable to do will just make me feel worse. I'll follow my dreams and passions one day, but I've been putting off the healing process for years.

So I guess it's better to get better now so I can get the ball rolling again. Why drive on a flat tire?

#i was in there for a week and ill continue partial hospitalization for a few weeks #i hope i learn more and i hope i get specific help to my issues. because whay i learned there didnt directly pertain to me #but having structured daily life felt nice. but it wasnt all relaxing because there were still responisibilites on the outside world #tapping on the window or calling me on the phone. chose the best time for a meltdown. i have taxes and credit card bills to take care of #but if i stress about it now ill jsut be going back to the ER and thats no good. the hospital was so cold dude im glad im home with blankets #this is mr octopus again. im glad i broguh hom to work. i went straight to er from work and if i had no plushie with me #i probably would have stayed longer or be even more mentally unstable and distressed. its good to have comfort items #i dont think i want to know ehat if be like without some kind of companion or grounding item with me. i dont want to imagine me without em #its okay to have a little friend with you. i would be so distraught. everyone loved me there #the nurses the patients the residents yhe social workers the students #mr. octopus made them happy because of his big smile and mine too. the people there did not expect the mass amoutns of stress and depression #in this bubbly happy baby witb a happy pink octopus. one of the patients thought it was the meds the happy pills they gave me #no im jsut naturally like this. or artificially like this. i still dont know how to express or understand my feelings #if what im showing is real or not because i know ill be the happiest in the room wherever i go. maybe its a front or a mask #but when im like that kinda hard to know whats really underneath. they always ask me if im okay but i turn to myself #and its nondescript like ive put a blanket over how i really feel. its weird. the bubbly energy is blinding.#words #mr octopus #mental health #doodles

Thought that can be both sad and happy.

I think if not a pediatrician, Bruce would've flourished as a teacher for kids or a kindergarten teacher. Which he can't really do because it'd be too risky for the children and other people since he's a Wayne and rich. They'd never know peace, at least as long as people could recognize him.

KINDERGARTEN TEACHER BRUCE! oh, man. The thoughts that just raced through me. I will say thought, -- It's really interesting how fame and social abundance (for the waynes) is portrayed in the Batman.

Salvatore Maroni seems to get more TV time than Bruce does, but, Bruce IS well known; Everyone knows of the idea of him.

Presumably, his isolation escalated to such a degree that Wayne Enterprises was declining, and quick. I wonder if the mayor's funeral was his first public appearance. A very own dance of death for the black swan.

But the detail I adore with a fire in me is that Bruce? He's absolutely terrified of Gotham.

He wants to protect it, and defend it, and Baptiste it in something good, but there's no denying that Bruce, if not as Batman, then as Bruce Wayne, lives every moment in fear.

He's terrified at the funeral when Real and Officer Martinez talk to him. The only reason he's co confident when facing Falcone is because he's facing crime. It's the only social layer he navigates smoothly.

But towards the end, -- as Batman, as Bruce, as both, he's with people. They're all scared and in the dark and they're scared in light, too. But they trust him. And Bruce isn't scared of them anymore.

A very important lesson from the Batman is that no one should live in fear, and as long as there's people around you, people you can care about and care for you in return, it'll never not be worth the risk of being hurt.

So yes, there's always a leap of faith you take blindfolded when you're Bruce Wayne. But he'd love those kids so so so much and I can already see him taking all their drawings home with him, to frame and put on the wall

Fortune Teller AU

At least, that's the name currently. I might change it later.

ANYWAY

Synopsis of AU

Mostly the same to the show but Macaque puts a higher importance on his hearing than in the show.

With his hearing he's able to hear the future, past, and present which he uses combined with his shadow lantern to make predictions for people. Though the circumstances for him to make a prediction is he needs a specific question first, he can't make one otherwise; everything gets jumbled together.

Mac still gets resurrected by LBD but she mainly uses him to see into the future.

Also also- credit where credit is do, @novalizinpeace had been the one to help me with bouncing ideas for this au; they gave a lot of good ideas though those will be shared another time. I'll ramble about this au more another time but enjoy this snip bit for now, my brain empty right now.

had the most absurdly infuriating interaction with an ER doctor telling me that "we rate pain based on a facial expression scale and you're clearly only in mild discomfort." while 2/3 of my face were covered by a N95 mask

#and also by the metaphorical mask of neurodivergence and masking chronic pain my entire life. my good ma'am what the fuck #when i tell you i couldn't sleep or breathe less than shallowly due to the sharp pain. that should tell you??? it's actual pain?#and she went on about how she herself has a herniated spine and has chronic pain well then you ought to know nothing's worse than when #someone pulls the 'well -i- have XYZ pain which is worse than yours!' card #this is why i hate going to the ER they're either really rude and dismissive or just clueless of what to do w my condition #anyway turned out it wasn't anything serious despite my pain but i stand by my decision to go there even tho the doc shamed me #my rheumatologist and the techs who did the endoscopy clearly stated if i had any pain to go to the ER and not take painkillers #meanwhile lady was like oh just take ibuprofen. wdym your doctor said you can't yes you can. fuck her #ką sako lapė

#just looked at a news site #so how about that restaurant that tracked down a customer on instagram to insult him #because he went to the er and then used his credit cards travel insurance to cover the cancellation fee #and are now trying to sue him #i mean tbh seems like the credit card company is screwing them over #but its awfully hard to defend the restaurant owner when she. literally stalked a customer????? wild #anyway yeah this is basically on par with the stupidest fandom drama #thats just how people are i guess
