Last minute Artfight attack for @kwillow of their boy Ambroys (left) and my boy Ambroise (right)! What's better than one Ambroys? Two Ambroise!

I haven't drawn scenes in years but this was very fun practice (and also I didn't mean to make it this big. Originally they were just gonna be in chairs together and then it just kinda. went) and Ambroys is so much different from my usual designs.

featuring: gringotts! goblins! letters from dead parents! emotions galore!

Not for the first time in his life, Harry wished fervently that he could close his eyes tight and wake up in the middle of his parents, enclosed in their arms. Every time that he’d done this so far, he was able to picture two blobs—only acquiring a shape after Christmas of first year—but not this time. This time, the only feeling he was left with was a faint echo of melancholy and grief. A feeling of emptiness in one corner of his chest.

It didn’t matter how long he stayed like that, eyes squeeze shut to the point of pain, praying and praying and praying . No one came. He was still alone. And that’s how he fell asleep—clutching two pieces of parchment that held the broken pieces of his heart.

Let Danny’s Parents Be Criminals

I hate the reveal gone wrong trope in the dpxdc fandom because we know Jack and Maddie end up supporting Danny and Dani in the end. His parents have some major flaws but wanting to torture their actual child isn’t one. What they are guilty of is going way too hard on any plan they cook up without thinking of the consequences.

If I were writing a dpxdc fic and I wanted Danny in adoptable status I’d just have Jack and Maddie in jail on charges of domestic terrorism after they killed off GIW agents and destroyed the GIW’s bases. They realized their ghost kids were in potential danger and went at the government the same way they went at ghosts, guns blazing and with reckless driving.

They end up in federal prison and they Vlad wins custody cause he’s rich and there is your runaway Danny plot starter.

Zionists want you to conflate Judaism and Zionism. Zionists want you to believe that Judaism cannot exist without Zionism and that all Jews are Zionists. Zionism would have Jews believe that a Jewish state is the only way that they can be safe from antisemitism and will point to any instance of antisemitism as proof that Zionism is the solution- so Zionism wants gentiles to be antisemitic in their support of Palestine. They want you to conflate all Jews with Zionism and the state of Israel, and they want you to treat all Jews regardless of political affiliation as the face of Israel. Antizionist Jews exist, and incidences of antisemitism ostensibly acting against Zionism will not help dismantle the forces propping Zionism up.

ok i know i said i wasnt gonna post about movie but i do have one thing to say

one thing i reaaally thought was interesting was the springlock scene, when he put the head back on. in the game, we see him putting the whole suit on, and head, before the springlocks kick in. he was using the costume to scare/intimidate the kids. creation turns on creator and all that.

but in the movie, the springlocks have already kicked in BEFORE he can put the head back on. it wasn’t going to make a difference what he did, there was nothing he COULD do to stop it.

i think him putting the head on was him accepting that fate. it was him knowing he was going to be killed, knowing he couldnt escape, but accepting to seal himself to his favourite yellow rabbit for the rest of his ghostly existence. in fact- not just accepting it. but choosing it. look how smug he is! he even says the so iconic “i always come back” AS he’s putting it on! he KNOWS he wont really be killed, not permanently, not while he’s springtrap.

i just think its such a cool difference from the game. where originally it was an accident, wasn’t meant to happen. this time, it was a choice. originally, it was almost a tragedy- forced to live on forever alongside his victims. we had no way to know if thats what he even would’ve wanted. but this time, it was a CHOICE.

oughhh ..... waking up in the middle of the night or just a little too early and your f/o groggily tugging you back into place with some little half-coherent words of encouragement. call them selfish, but they'll take the label with no complaint if it means they get to have you lie down at their side just a while longer. the tired little motions they go through to try and make sure that you're able to fall back asleep before they let themself do the same, whether that be tracing shapes along your skin in gentle little gestures or even humming, they're putting the effort in even though sleep might be clinging onto them like a 2 ton weight.

I decided I wanted to have a go at using procreate’s symmetry tool and it was SO fun

Her silhouette is meant to look like a spider with her headband being the fangs and hair strands being the legs!! I also think it looks like a heart too which is pretty neat :D

This took me AGESSS because I kept changing the colour pallette and background, I love how it turned out though and the only thing I would change is that it’s kinda hard to see her bowing pose bc of all the dark colours 😭😭

I LOVE associating spiders with Harumi which is pretty ironic considering i’m arachnophobic 💀

I don’t think it’s used that much in the show other than the like spider they used to bug the bounty but I have chosen to RUN with it
