The sx1 tries to put themselves up more as a model of the perfect person other people should admire and strive to be like. They’re often stereotyped as the more angry subtype, often being invasive especially in things and people that aren't to their standard.
Social [so]:
The so1 can be described as a stereotypical school teacher. They feel as though they must teach others perfection. Similar to the sx1, but so1s are more helping type people than model people. They actively go out of their way to help those who don't conform to their standard, but can get impatient when things don't go their way

11. Is there a popular character you like that the fandom doesn't? Why?
I know that the younger (more active) fans dislike Cartman, and tend to exclude him in works. But idk if that alone makes him unpopular? He's definitely the most controversial. Against my better judgement, I do indeed, like Cartman.
He's not a character you're supposed to love. He reflects the biases and the bigotry we're all capable of, and like most sociopaths in media, he's extravagant, loves to entertain, and is charming. His saving grace is that he's only a little boy, an animated one at that, and that degree of separation to his many many crimes makes it easy for us to laugh at him. That's another thing about Cartman-- he's genuinely funny. Trey Parker puts his all into even the most offensive jokes and he finds a way to tailor them to a character's personality. I can't believe it, but I love singing "too many minorities" and "safe space" to myself while working... it's so catchy.
I used to despise Cartman and found him one note (this was watching bits of season 4 and 6. I was bareelly getting into sp. It wasn't until I saw scott tenorman that I sat down to reevaluate him) but after seeing the episodes dedicated to highlighting just how messed up he is under the surface, what drove him to act the way he does, and the few snippets we see that he's truly capable of change (and it's shocking that according to trey, it doesn't take a lot to turn Cartman around.)
He fascinates me. There hasn't been a villain/ main character quite like him before or since.

Reading my descriptions of 8, they sound a lot like how people describe 7… the stuff about being impulsive and seeking experience > deep thoughts and needing to get in touch with your inner curiosity. which makes me wonder if I’m a mistyped 7. But then I go back to the fundamentals of what 7 is — loss of Holy Plan, and all the 7s in my life who embody this as their core fixation by constantly living out 10000 half-baked plans — and I’m like… nah. I relate heaps to 7 as any 8 will (plus my fix is 6w7), but there are strong differences between me and 7 cores. Mainly… they are hyperactive and struggle to stop moving. I’m hypoactive and depressive, even though I have an active mind and I will be determined af when I make my mind up. The 7 cores go wide, and I go deep. They have 483838 games in their steam library and are constantly seeking to try new media. I obsess over the same six games and struggle to detach from my attachments to these same six games to try new games. The 7s are just faster and shallower than me. They resist 5, I disintegrate to 5 and I have a bunch of 5 stuff constantly occurring in my life, such as aforementioned minimalism and over attachment to the little I let myself have. With being so hypoactive I would sooner be a 9 core than a 7 core. But all 8s I’ve met even crazy jail going 8w7 murderer gang lord 8s have this slowness and heaviness to them which distinguishes them from 7s.
7 and 8 are supposed to be similar and difficult to distinguish. Even 7w6s and 8w9s. The same way that it’s impossible for someone who isn’t well versed in ennea and isnt one of these types themselves, to tell 4s / 5s and 1s / 2s apart, it should not be straightforward to tell 7s and 8s apart. 8 is not always obvious. 8 is not the obnoxious boss screaming in your face archetype. That’s Superego and Competency types (with the exception of 5). I stand by my conviction that 8 was ruined by all these obnoxious Te 1s and 3s and 5-fixed 8s who injected all their Te competency shit into 8. 8s can behave domineering and control our space (we often do without even realizing) but all this stuff about us knowing who we are and where we’re going in life is crock. 8s are almost equally as chaotic and lacking in foresight and true introspective ability as 7s are. including 8w9s. 8w9s have an illusion of stability and groundedness and normalness (7-8 liners truly have none), we often tap into the 9-ish ritualism behavior instead of constantly pushing forward with new endeavors and imposing ourselves onto the world like our double assertive siblings. We fall prey to addictions a lot. Anyways dig beneath the surface and you’ll quickly see the retarded impulsive behavior and lack of direction in life and all over the placeness in any 8w9. It’s almost always written off by dumbogram people and Te people who think they’re 8s as something else. Becuz they made 8 into a type that’s all about *marina voice* I know exactly what I want and who I wanna be… but this isn’t 8. It never was.

Sweetie, can I just ask, are you okay? The songs that you mentioned are exceptionally interesting but also rather sad— Anyway, to start off, an ISFP 4w5, to my understanding, is someone who is very introverted and appreciates living a more average life, with very few but exceptionally exciting things. Just enough to make them not quite ordinary, but just enough to fly under the majority’s radar.
As such, I believe someone that catches wind of your unusual “charm” or interests would become instantly interested in you. Especially someone like Taemin.

As an idol with a lot of accolades for both group and solo works, he’s definitely someone who outside of work greatly appreciates a sense of normalcy. Being an INFP, this also heavily implies that he’s more likely to be a homebody, and that he’s someone prone to sticking to what he knows and rarely tries anything new. Being with someone who feels like they’re immediately part of his average at-home lifestyle, yet still keeps him on his toes, is definitely someone that he’d like to have in his life.
Besides, his personality is essentially a melting pot of all of his hyungs combined, so in his humble opinion, he’s all the fun that anyone could ever need.

Taemin also strikes me as someone who would take a little work with him home, as opposed to staying at a studio overtime. The Treebury Calendar
Treebury uses a lunisolar calendar - this means that it is based on the cycle of the moon, but is different from a pure lunar calendar as it changes slightly (will get into this later)
Months
Treeburys calendar has 12 months in every year, but every 2/3 years there is an extra 13th, or leap month added (more detail in years section)
Months alternate between light months of 30 days, and dark months of 29 days, with every year always beginning with a light month

Monday thru Friday are all working days, with Saturday being preparation market or a free day, and Sunday being the market from 10am - 3pm (if you sell at market, otherwise it is whenever and how long) followed by a free day.
Work is mostly done in the mornings of the day, and the afternoons are for walks, spending time with friends and other hobbies. Friday evenings are a celebration of the past week, and dinner that night is a communal event shared with friends (anywhere from one friend to like half the town)
The 1/2 spare days at the end of the month are also a time of celebration, and the treebers love to change the flowers around their house at this time, listen to music in the town square and collaborate on a new town welcome sign as well as other decorations.
At the end of each year in either the last day of Rhagfyr or the last day of the 13th month, there is an end of year celebration! This celebration contains all end of the month traditions as well as several others! There is a firefly show in the sky (please note that this is very similar to fireworks but without the noise and due to the nature of the show no fireflies are harmed and therefore do not plague me with the ethics of the firefly show) as well as a large feast with a special apple pie recipe and present giving and dancing in the town square.
At the end of every Ennea there is a week long celebration of dancing and music, with loads of food and present giving, and the town decorated specially for the occasion! The town is lovely and bustling, and there are loads of craft stalls and food stalls etc. around for the people of treebury to enjoy! At the end of the week there is a massive firefly celebration and different family traditions, with several people opting to have hot chocolate with friends.

do you have any resources/reads for how childhood forms the types?
The very basic info is in Beatrice Chestnut’s ‘The Complete Enneagram’. She describes it in general (across the whole core) under the title ‘The Early Coping Strategy’ and also discusses certain details within the subtypes. This is a commonly read book however, so I wouldn't be surprised if you have already read it, in which case I would recommend you to read the individual enneagram books by Claudio Naranjo. These books can go further in depth on their points in general, considering they are focused on the individual cores, and this includes childhood.
I do admit that my reading on the childhood aspect is limited in comparison to other aspects due to the fact that I take it with a grain of salt. Enneagram, including its subtypes, arent monoliths. Experiences can vary, but outcomes can be the same. A person fitting every other aspect of a type except for their childhood isn’t a reason for them to not be said type.

I agree that 8s as natural leaders is laughable: probably warrior ethos projection on ennea types (with mature 8w9 as the exception). However, I wonder why you feel 1w2s and 1w9s are potentially the best leaders? They're decent/good, but they're often uptight (being mild here) and run the risk of protocol for the sake of protocol, suffocation ensues. Mature 9s are the best leaders imo: aiming for relaxed group dynamics, don't expand unless necessary and assertive when needed.
9s can be good leaders for small groups (e.g. at work low/middle level or small villages) but imho the more people are involved the more important it is to establish and uphold protocols because there needs to be a frameset that people can refer to even when not everyone is present. Ergo 1s being necessary, even when everyone hates them for it but they are mere scapegoats and executioners. Without them we wouldn't have any civilization.
Although one could argue that the 1 doesn't need to be a human and that it's also sufficient if it is the abstract concept of "law/justice/god" instead.
Also of course depends on what you view as "good". Preserving the status quo? Leading people into new territories?
In my mind any process is better than stagnation. Moving around in a circle is more admirable than standing still on the spot. Energy spent wastefully is superior to energy preserved for nothing. But that is deeply personal bias + a pinch of self-loathing.
Objectively I don't think that there is a correct answer or if there is one that it wildly differs depending on purpose.

I'm an infp ennea 4 (f26) who has trouble meeting people i can connect with. after a while in a friendship i realise we are very different and i dont feel connected to them and never really develop deep feelings for them. it's been like this my whole life. i've only had one friend i truly felt was like me and she was an infp. i've had friends who were istp, entp, intp, esfp, istj, isfj, estp but none of them really 'hit the spot'.. i just feel frustrated and lonely.. any insight on this?
It sounds like this problem arises from maladaptive thinking, specifically, applying the wrong beliefs and values. Here are some questions for reflection:
1) How do you define a "good friend" or "good friendship"? It seems you define a good friend as someone who's exactly like you? Is that a reasonable standard to use? Since everyone out there is an individual, your way of making friends is potentially quite harmful, because you essentially refuse to recognize and appreciate what makes people unique (=Fi fail). How can you connect with people when you don't really see them, let alone appreciate them?
2) Do you understand what the word "relationship" means? A healthy relationship should be a two-way street. However, your attitude seems to be that you only "feel" for people insofar as you can get something from them (such as validation of your identity), with the implication being that you will emotionally discard them as soon as they don't give you what you want. This is egocentrism. How can you form a healthy two-way relationship when you're primarily preoccupied with getting and taking?
3) You claim to be N, so are you capable of visualizing and realizing potential? You look out into the world seeking similarity to yourself, which implies that you have little to no interest in anything that doesn't relate to you, e.g., anything new, different, or unknown. Lack of intellectual curiosity means not being able to see potential, let alone explore it.
Healthy relationships require work. Different people need different things from relationships, and that gap needs to be bridged. Two people have to put out effort to get to know each other and see the potential of expanding oneself through the other, thereby growing together. Are you willing to expand yourself to meet someone else halfway? If you have a very fixed idea of who you are and it makes you blind to your potential for growth and/or uncompromising in your dealings with others, it is a sign of auxiliary development problems (see the Type Dev Guide).
4) Are you in touch with reality? Ns should always have this question in the back of their mind. The fact of the matter is that you can't be BFFs with everyone. Not everyone is "relationship ready". If you hit it off with someone, great, take the relationship as far as it can go. If you don't hit it off with someone, oh well, simply move on to the next opportunity. Where you're going wrong is believing that this is a "bad" thing, something to be frustrated or upset over. Getting mad at reality is basically choosing to throw your energy away, which means having less energy for taking advantage of new possibilities.
You can increase your chances of meeting like-minded people by thinking more systematically about where people like you tend to congregate and targeting those spaces. However, if the reason you don't hit it off with people is actually because of problems #1-3 above, then you've created the problem and the onus is on you to i) correct your faulty beliefs, and ii) improve your relationship skills (see the book recs on the resources page). In short, this means you're the one who isn't "relationship ready", and you'll keep missing out on good opportunities.
5) Are you certain of being INFP? The typical healthy INFP is quite curious and empathetic. They are very willing to engage with people, get to know them well, and genuinely appreciate what makes them special. Because of their ability to see and validate what is good in others, others can't help but like them back and give them the same in return - this creates a strong foundation for the relationship to grow. If this doesn't describe you, you ought to figure out why.

9. worst part of canon
bc of sp’s writing schedule many many episode storylines feel unrefined. there’s really great ideas and banger gags but sometimes the execution leaves me sayin “x y z could be wrapped up a lil tighter” but I know better than to say the solution to that is more time— bc trey is just as liable to let an idea overcook and premises overstay their welcome (streaming wars 😅)
10. worst part of fanon
i’m boutta make this post very dated but there’s a slew of antisemetic dogpiling from specific fans of style towards jewish kyman fans rn on twitter. so definitely the animosity between shippers that cross into reality is what I’ve always hated about fandom. this is coming from a ennea 1 but I hate how black and white morals are made out to be online, esp. in regards to shipping fictional characters of all things. ok, maybe if I gotta boil it down, it’s the lack of nuance and openness to communication. bc i’ve been mostly on the sidelines watchin stuff go down and i’m like y’all… learn to talk w/ ppl or learn to ignore. There’s gotta be more productive ways to spend all that energy, why focus so much on hate?
edit: my post-work mush brain realized too late that fanon ain’t the same as fandom, but since we’re going with the theme of black/white unawareness: How the nuance of the boys end up being stripped. I see that kyle ends up takin the most Ls what with him bein reduced to some form of a stereotype for the sake of ships whereas the other boys usually remain somewhat recognizable..
