My thoughts as I rewatch Wednesday Part 1

-enid’s hands at her sides as she runs over to meet wednesday for the first time is the silliest and cutest thing ever

-donavan let’s the first crime scene be contaminated by the rain, he’s not even trying to preserve evidence

-enid’s a little psycho, it’s perfect

-thornhills fashion sense is horrible

-why is xavier just hovering over her when she wakes up after the gargoyle attack??? how long has he been just standing over her???

-for everything that she is, that she pretends to be, seeing death really shakes her. seeing that vision of the delivery man dying really bothered her

-“boo” wednesday says and the borneo pilgrims attack her, babes, she’s 5 foot tall, that really scared you so badly you had to attack her?? she handed you your ass. deserved.

-she plays with the necklace morticia gave her when she sees the dead delivery man, proving my earlier point

-is that beer in his desk drawer? donavan a drunk??? can’t say i’m surprised

-weems really cares about wednesday, in a complicated and messy way, but she does care

-enid is everything

-her outfits are so cute

-enid being the first person she’s actually venerable around, telling her about her emotions and her past

-“are you sure that you can trust that normie?” she cares. she cares. she loves so much. they barely know each other and enid cares so much.

-what was with the birds in her vision of rowan? are they about her being a raven or is it something else?

Summary: His mother's voice trembled as she quietly sang the nursery rhyme, her hand shaking as she gently swept the messy curls from his eyes. It was cold, dark and his tummy grumbled.

It wasn't fair.

This was supposed to be their perfect holiday, a week with just them. A family holiday.

Instead they were trapped in a little cabin up in the mountains, cut off from everything and anyone as a furious storm raged around them. It hadn't been so bad, not at first.

Then the monsters came.

Okay, hear me out y’all

How about instead of simply capturing Tyler and sending him away? He has an On the Run arc for season two. With this, I think it can show more of Tyler’s character. To show the real Tyler is without a master for him to obey, to get a better understanding of his character. (And to show the psychology of Hydes, getting more depth in their history and even coming across some Hydes.)

Tyler has always struck me as a person who wants absolute freedom, he longs for an escape. One of his famous lines is “Because I wish I was going with you. At least one of us will get out of this hellhole town.” So him getting an On the Run arc will make sense.

Him getting into hijinks would be great and we can even have one-off characters who serve as guidance to Tyler while trying to help him by asking questions such as “What are you looking for?” Or “Where are you going?” Questions that the audience and Tyler are wondering ourselves.

A On the Run arc could be literal and figuratively. Him running away from everything that happened, not wanting to face the legal consequences in Jerchio, and figuratively running away from his feelings, not ready to face them or scared to face them.

If someone asks about his complicated relationship with his father and Tyler admitting that he kinda misses him.

Then about Wednesday, who he knows he hurt very badly and thinks she is better off not seeing him again. Not wanting to hurt her again.

And coming to terms with that Marilyn Thornhill | Laurel Gates never cared for him and was only using him.

Basically, Tyler realizing that he needs help and wants people to help him.

Why can I just picture a argument between Tyler & Sheriff Galpin some time in a later season where the Sheriff is wondering after everything they've been through why he's still with Wednesday.

-xavier has the weathervane and wants to trade with ajax, but ajax goes to uriah’s heap with enid, why didn’t he trade? he is apparently xavier’s best friend and he probably knows what tyler did to him?

-why does donavan hate outcasts so much? he was once married to and had a kid with one? what happened to his wife? does he recognize the hyde attack patterns?

-seen people say wednesday manuipulates enid into trading assignments with her and that literally makes no sense. enid was so excited to spend time with ajax! it was a fair trade!

-eugene with yoko and bianca, i love that weirdo

(took a break 12 minutes in to make brownies and listen to the ologies episode about thanatology, just thought y’all should know that)

-i wish wednesday had severely hurt those pilgrims (i love lucas later on, but my dude??)

-wednesday cleaning his vomit is disgusting.. please please stop, he is capable of cleaning himself off

-“what the fudge are you doing in here missy?!” stop. stop it. never speak again. (i don’t really have a problem with real/other people saying this so idk why it bothers me so much when she does)

-enid and ajax are not two different species (in the way they’re implying at least) they’re outcasts, they’re somewhat popular, they have the sameish friend group, they fit. this conversation doesn’t fit them together, it does fit considering them with other people though. it fits considering wednesday.

-“i can’t believe he asked me!!” honey, my sweet girl, he didn’t.

-“who i speak to is none of your business” damn right!!

-GOODY ISNT A NAME. GOODY IS NOT A NAME!

-hate xavier, all my homies hate xavier

-he never believes her. he doesn’t believe her once without his own confirmation and then even when she proves herself right he STILL doesn’t believe her and then later he claims he always believed her. he lies straight up

-“are you mansplaining my power?” yeah, he really is

-“my dad the expert” YOU DONT LIKE YOUR DAD, YOU HAVE DADDY ISSUES AND MAYBE ITS WHY YOU’RE SUCH A SHIT PERSON, SO WHY ARE YOU AS A MAN WITH DADDY ISSUES USING WHAT HE HAS SAID TO PUT DOWN OTHER PEOPLE?!??

-enid clawing the side of that bus, my love, my girl, she is everything

-why does weems hate morticia so much??? please i need to know

-no because kimbott the therapist frfr scrapes roadkill off of the street and puts them in wedding dresses..
