Gomez Addams wants to adopt Enid Sinclair
It made sense, she fit right in with his little family. She was strong and so full of love, she was a little strange, but oh how Addamses loved all things strange. Gomez had never seen Wednesday so taken with someone- it was obvious they cared about each other very much.
They had done it before too, they had adopted Rocky nearly a decade ago, and Parker nearly five years ago. They were Addamses, their family was so capable of expanding.
So it made absolutely no sense to him why Morticia had told him it was a bad idea. It truly stumped him when Wednesday told him in no uncertain terms, that if he gained Enid as a child he would lose Wednesday as one.
It became a matter of great discourse in the Addams household.
Of course Gomez would listen to his daughter’s wishes, of course he would listen to his wife, but he just didn’t understand why!
They all adored the Sinclair girl, her relationship with the family she was born to was unacceptable, she barely ever saw them. She had been staying with the Addamses for a year now, so why was his family so against making it official?
Morticia shook her head in disbelief, Pugsley and Parker laughed at him. When he asked Rocky the boy said “Open your eyes, pops” and well, Gomez had thought his eyes were open. Maybe Rocky meant the ones kept in the playroom? But Gomez couldn’t be sure, they didn’t see all that much.
It was weeks of trying to understand, leading to many arguments with his daughter, until one day she said
“I plan on making her a part of the family in my own way, i plan on marrying her one day, and your ideas would deem that quite impossible!”
He sat stumped, what did that-
Morticia was laughing, Wednesday’s face was turning red, and Enid had the biggest grin on her face.
It clicked.
It really- oh lord, he had really overlooked some things. He hadn’t even wondered why Enid never used her own room, or why Wednesday was so lenient with allowing the other girls touch.
“Dulce satanás” Gomez laughed before looking up again at his girls, to Enid “My daughter-in-law”
“In due time” Enid amended “We are just dating, for now”
“Why did you not tell me” He asked his family
“It was funnier this way” Rocky told him
“We technically didn’t tell anybody” Enid said “We are taking things slow, and well apparently it is hard to keep secrets in this house”
“Oh- i’ve got binders full of wedding plans” Gomez grinned as he rushed toward his office, his family trailing behind him.
The two girls held back.
“Are you okay with this?” Enid asked
“I would follow you the the ends of the earth, my moonbeam” Wednesday said softly, kissing Enid’s hand and then forehead, before pulling her to inform her father, again, that they wouldn’t be getting married until after highschool.

She knew he was watching, appraising.
“Okay Sawed-Off, what’s up with you” Rocky asked as he walked through the doorway, while he waited for a response he turned Wednesday’s desk chair around and made himself comfortable in it, his legs hanging off the side of the chair in a way that only he could get away with when sitting in her furniture.
Well. That used to be true.
It was true when Wednesday was a child, before Pubert was born and before Wednesday was sent away to Nevermore. Sent away to meet a werewolf who embodied the sun.
Wednesday didn’t move, she didn’t look away from her ceiling.
When she was a child she had an obsession with werewolves, she read every book that she could get her tiny hands on. She interrogated her lycan family members, she made a scientifically accurate paper mache replica of the stars and full moon.
As she grew she moved on to other things, other research topics and other interests. Her mother though, ever the sentimental woman, kept many of Wednesday’s little creations.
Wednesday found it in a box in the attic, the paper mache solar system. She pulled the moon out of the discolored box and blew off the dust. She brought the little moon back to her room and hung it above her bed.
A smaller, kinder, more sensitive version of Wednesday would be so pleased to hear that she would grow up to fall in love. That little girl would be so glad to have fallen for a terrifying werewolf.
The Wednesday now, older and harsher, who has been hurt and who has learned to close off her heart in order to protect herself, she was terrified and - stuck.
Was stuck the right word?
Stuck; unable to move from a particular position or place, or unable to change a situation.
It didn’t feel right.
Loving Enid wasn’t a bad thing.
Nothing that involved Enid Sinclair could ever be bad, and if it was well, Wednesday was one to enjoy the negative aspects of life.
But Love. Loving.
What was Wednesday to do? How was she meant to go on like this? As if the colorful girl hadn’t pulled apart Wednesday’s flesh and bone and made a home for herself inside of Wednesday’s heart. As if she wasn’t mourning the warmth of a girl who she had seen less than a week ago.
There would be another two months until the spring semester started. It would be another two months before Wednesday saw Enid again.
How she yearned. How she pinned. How she was desperate to look into winter blue eyes, how she was pathetic and daydreaming of warm arms and the smell of strawberries.
Rocky was still sitting, waiting. He was plucking at strings on his guitar, waiting ever patiently for Wednesday to sort through her words or to order him out of her room.
He had a show in a few days. It was a big deal and he was rightfully proud of himself. The Addams were all coming to support him, Rocky had always supported her.
He was there when she was small and loving, he was there when she was brokenhearted, he is here now expertly knowing Wednesday and respecting her boundaries but never in a way that was condescending or made her feel like she was being difficult.
Enid was the only other person who knew Wednesday like that. The only other person who always wanted Wednesday to feel comfortable, always taking the time to see the darker girl. They had fought once, but Wednesday was being difficult then. According to her parents, relationships are all about learning and growing for each other. Wednesday would learn and grow for Enid, just as Enid had done for Wednesday.
“I’m in love” Wednesday said eventually. The tune Rocky was plucking slowed down as he hummed. He offered a soft smile.
“Tell me about it?” He asked.
“My roommate at Nevermore. A blonde with dreadful blue eyes, a werewolf with pink and blue streaks in her hair. She is the loudest and brightest person in any room, she is kind and gentle and she loves so much and so freely”
“She sounds like your exact opposite” He teased, not at all cruel or malicious.
“‘We shouldn’t work but we do’, she said. We work. She saved my life that night, she transformed for the first time to defend me from the Hyde” Wednesday said, looking at her hands above her face, the black polish was chipped on one finger. For the first time in nearly ten years she couldn’t be bothered to fix it.
“You miss her?” Rocky asked. Wednesday didn’t respond, her arms dropped to her sides and her eyes found the paper moon again, hanging from the ceiling and dancing from Wednesday’s brushing against it with the side of her hand. “Call her”
“Call her?”
“You have a phone now, use it”
“I couldn’t” She said, finally shifting to her side to look at him. He was sprawled out in the chair, still fiddling with his guitar.
“You could” He smiled, she just stared, “Why couldn’t you?”
Fear.
Enid would know what to do. Enid always knew how to feel, she was quite good at understanding her own emotions and the emotions of other people.
Enid was good and kind and everything that Wednesday wasn’t.
“Call her” Wednesday mumbled again. “I think Pugsley has the phone”
Rocky looked at her with a cheeky grin before pouncing out of the desk chair, his worn red converse thudding against the floorboards.
“Well, let’s go track him down”

Sirius, James, and Pete: “anything for our Moony”
+
Moony is eating people
Whole humans
Is it cannibalism if he isn’t human while it is happening?
Sirius, James, and Pete: “anything for our Moony”
+
Moony just decked a man in the face
Blood is everywhere
Oh-
The other Marauders are cheering
Carry on then.

It was always there.
Before Wednesday even began at Nevermore the rumors already existed, that the new normie student was a psychopath who murdered two students at her previous school, that she was only excepted into Nevermore because her parents were rich alumni.
Enid was all for gossip - she had a literal blog dedicated to it - but the things people were saying about the new girl put a sour taste in her mouth.
Then Enid found out the girl would be her own roommate.
Then Enid met Wednesday.
And oh, was she harsh, and volatile, rude, and cruel.
Enid was confused though, the girl had a softness about her and Enid was apparently one of the only people who could see it.
Wednesday acted like she couldn't stand her parents, but Enid could see a glimmer in her eyes. She watched Wednesday fiddle with the necklace her mother had given her, in the quiet of their room when Wednesday thought that no one was watching. Wednesday was harsh towards Thing, but she would do anything to protect him. Wednesday enjoyed making her murder board and she moved it from their room when looking at it made Enid faint. Wednesday apologized to Thing when Enid had told her to, Wednesday had scared off bullies for picking on Eugene.
Wednesday threatened to hurt Ajax if he ever hurt Enid, Wednesday had FUN dancing at the rave’n, Wednesday pouted when the blood falling from the ceiling wasn't blood but paint.
Enid saw her. Enid saw her softness, saw Wednesday caring, saw Wednesday excited, happy, she knew that Wednesday had feelings. She knew that Wednesday could love so deeply.
Enid knew that Wednesday was afraid of showing it because she had been hurt badly in the past.
Of course Enid saw Wednesday. Wednesday saw Enid too.
Enid saved Wednesday's life.
Wednesday gave Enid her confidence back. Wednesday helped Enid to realize that her worth was not tied to her capability. For all that Wednesday was; harsh, cruel, and rude, she was also so good. She had a skewed sense of justice - but it was a strong one.
For all that Wednesday acted like she didn't care what others thought of her, and while that was mostly true, it really did affect her sometimes. Nobody saw it, Wednesday was nothing if not skilled at hiding herself, Enid would always see her. Enid always knew.
It wasn't long after the beginning of second semester when Enid snapped.
She was walking along the hallway when some student, who Enid couldn’t even remember the name of, called Wednesday a “psycho bitch”.
It was an off handed comment to his friend, he probably didn’t even realize that he would be overheard, but oh Enid was so done.
She was so done.
It wasn’t even a full ten seconds after the words had left his mouth, before Enid had him pinned against the wall by his throat. Her claws dancing around the delicate skin over his jugular.
He sputtered and gasped, trying to catch his breath despite Enid’s palm pressing down on his throat. She could see the fear in his green eyes.
Enid considered dark brown. Dark brown eyes that looked almost black in the dark of their shared dorm room. Dark brown eyes that looked nearly golden in sunlight.
Dark eyes that Enid has seen full of tears on that night they had almost died together. Dark eyes that sparkled with mischief before Enid found herself regretting her decisions.
Enid could never really regret anything, as long as those eyes would look at her.
Enid could feel the boy’s pulse under her hand, she could feel his ragged breathing. She could feel hands on her shoulders, trying to pull her back.
“Leave her name out of your mouth” Enid growled, her voice so low and harsh that she couldn’t even recognize it. She scraped her claws down his throat, blood beaded at the surface, following her fingers. It was just a little scratch, it was only a warning. “Understand?”
He whimpered.
“Do you understand me?”
“Yes” He said, his voice broken and meek. She let him go, he sunk down the wall before fumbling to run away- away from Enid. Nobody has ever looked at her like that before.
He looked at her like she was dangerous, something to be feared.
She knew that she should feel bad about that, it would make sense for her to regret what she had just done - someone behind her was speaking and she couldn’t pay them any mind - she didn’t regret it one bit. His blood was still running down her claws, she popped it into her mouth and hummed.

Hear me out-
The marauders never knew just how batshit crazy the skittles were. They had only heard some rumors but never truly saw their antics, I mean sure they had heard that one of them had set the lab on fire, or the other slept with half the school, or even that they poisoned slug horn. Yet never the fights, the weed, the insane things that thy consider normal. Especially Sirius, he expected his goody two shoes brother's friends to be pretentious assholes.
Cut to when jegulus started dating, the two friend groups started to interact, and that's when they saw how crazy they were. It started as everyone was sitting in the Slytherin common room, then out of nowhere barges on barty and Pandora cackling while running away from something, that's when Evan who was standing closest to the door quickly shut it with a shit eating grin. Regulus let out an exasperated sigh and then Dorcas with a subtle smirk "what'd you two do this time?" And with the most terrifying grin Pandora, sweet, sweet Pandora said in the most soft voice "we jinxed Snape then we lit the classroom on fire" Regulus then just smiled and said "awww thank guys you didn't have to" in the most sarcastic tone despite his smile.
Yeah, that was another thing about the skittles, they were OVERprotective, those guys would kill for each other if the occasion arise. The marauders saw a lot of their antics, from laughing as thy jinx or curse someone, to smoking weed in the perfect's room and playing tag (ON THE EDGE OF THE ASTRONOMY TOWER) but what tops the disastrous cake is when they saw just to which extent their cruelty reaches.
It started with a commotion in the halls, Remus was the first to arrive, then Sirius, and oh was he shocked. He saw his little cousin, HIS LITTLE COUSIN narcissa being hugged by Pandora, while barty absolutely beats the living shit out of Mulciber and Lucius. He looked manic, nose and lip bleeding, but he had this crazed look in his eyes, and a grin of pure evil. All while Evan is smirking at him and Regulus and Dorcas apply healing charms on Mulciber and Lucius so they wouldn't pass out. They were all laughing, Regulus. Was. Laughing. Maniacally. Then narcissa comes up to Regulus and whispers something in his ear. "That's enough barty" he then says. Barty, the fucking maniac seems reluctant to back off until Evan quite literally pulls him off and throws him over his shoulder. Regulus walks menacingly towards the two assholes on the floor, "I'll say this once and once only, you talk like that about my cousin or touch her without her consent one more time and we'll cut you tiny dicks off to shove them so far down your throats till they come out your ass with your shitty personality, got it? " they just nod while the deemed "skittles" saunder off.
Sirius wanted to rip his hair out, james was beyond turned on, Peter looked traumatized while lily was chuckling and Remus looked amused.
Another incident was when both groups were sitting together and a Raven claw came up to then. He was eyeing lily and Dorcas weirdly. "Hey ladies, how about you and I leave those losers alone and have some fun? " they looked beyond uncomfortable, "no thanks mate we're not into that." The guy frowned "I promise you won't regret it, I've got a way with girls". " look pal, they said they weren't interested " snarled barty. "Says the person who slept with half the school, shut up whor-" before he even finishes, he was on the floor, a livid Evan looming over him. "Fucking scum, let's leave"
It took about a week and a half of James and Regulus dating before the marauders realized how fucking batshit crazy they were.

Enid always wanted kids. She knew it from a young age, a list of names in her phone’s notes app.
She wanted to be a mother. She wanted to create a family, to love her children in a way that she was never loved by her own parents.
She would be a good mother. She would have beautiful and kind children.
She didn’t think about it a whole lot after she started dating Wednesday, it was actually a comment by Yoko that started it.
Something along the lines of “Good luck with that”, Wednesday was Wednesday, Yoko had explained, the girl was unused to affection, she disliked feelings and emotion, it wasn’t hard to make the assumption that Wednesday Addams wouldn’t want kids.
Enid shouldn’t worry about that though, they were only 17, they had so long before that might even become a conversation.
Was Enid wasting her time? Breaking her own heart by staying in a relationship with Wednesday when they might not want the same things in the future?
Was it a deal breaker for Enid? Would she have to choose between the love of her life and becoming a mother?
She was terrified, she was heartbroken and it hadn’t even come up yet.
Then she met Pubert Addams.
And, oh.
The way that Wednesday loved that kid was something else. Enid, who was used to receiving the special treatment and kindness from Wednesday, was genuinely surprised at how the girl treated her little brother.
Wednesday Addams could never be described as gentle, never known as being soft, was exactly that for her little brother.
Wednesday held the little one on her hip, she ran her fingers through his hair, she read him bedtime stories, she held him as he slept and kissed his forehead. She cut up his food, she held his hand, she spoke kindly in a way Enid rarely heard; she had never heard directed toward someone else.
She loved him. Wednesday loved that kid, so much.
Enid couldn’t help but watch her, couldn’t help but savor the softness that her girlfriend radiated while interacting with the little boy.
Wednesday sat in a big reclining chair, Enid cuddled up next to her and Pubert sleeping on her shoulder.
“Would you ever want this?” Enid asked “Our own little family?”
“I didn’t think so” Wednesday said, her hand slid into Enid’s own, “But now, I realize that I want it more than anything, more of us and more of you, little children running around with your bright eyes and bright smile. I want to be your family and to make it bigger together”
“You wouldn’t mind if your kids had blue eyes or blonde hair?” Enid attempted to joke
“If they are ours, yours, I will love them more than anything”
Enid grinned, “I hope they have your freckles, your smarts, your bravery”
“I hope that they will love like you do” Wednesday said before she pressed a kiss to Enid’s knuckles “You will be such a wonderful ÎŒÎ±ÎŒÎŹâ€
It would be years until they got there, at least ten, but oh would Wednesday be right. They were good parents, Enid a better mom than hers ever was, Wednesday a better partner and mama than she ever thought she could be.

Sirius hated it, he had never hated anything more.
How could he bring himself to leave his little sister behind? How could he survive in that house?
She would never come with him as he left, she might even tell their parents and get him killed if Sirius had tried.
He would never blame her, his little sister, a product of their environment just like Sirius himself once had been. He wished he could bring her with, he would have done anything to get her out.
He had to leave, he had to go. He had to leave her.
It saved his life, he regretted it every single day. He tried his hardest to keep some sort of tabs on her, he wanted to know that she was still alive.
He counted down the days until her 18th birthday, he figured that when she could leave and if she would choose to that he would be right there to help, even if it meant facing their parents again.
Sirius left in the middle of the night.
Regulus left in the middle of the night on his 18th birthday.
Sirius showed up to Grimmuald Place seven hours later, and his sister wasn’t there.
Regulus was already states away, his name was changed and he was booking an appointment for top surgery. He was finally free, he wasn’t going to waste any more time pretending to be somebody else. His family would never find him, he was safe for the first time in his life.
It’s five years later when Regulus Lovegood meets James Potter, James isn’t like anyone he has ever met before. James is kind and good, he is the embodiment of sunshine, he loves Regulus like he has never been loved before.
Regulus wakes up warm in James’ arms and he has never felt so content, he had never felt like he was exactly where he was meant to be.
They are dating for three months when James finally convinces Regulus to meet his friends. Many kind people show up to their dinner party, so much personality in one room and Regulus tries his hardest to make the best impression possible. The last people to show up are James’ best friend/soulmate and the man’s husband.
He walks in like he owns the place, long black hair and piercings, sharp cheekbones and eyes that match Regulus’s own. It has been eight years since Regulus had last seen his brother, but he knows him right away. James, sweet and loving James, pulls Sirius and his husband (???) toward Regulus. Sirius knows it too as soon as he sees Regulus.
Regulus is terrified, he is angry, he is confused, and god it feels as if he can’t breathe. He is even more confused when he notices that Sirius is crying. He realizes a second later that he is too.
Regulus flinches as Sirius comes crashing towards him, and oh.
It’s a hug.
His brother is hugging him.
It’s awkward, Regulus had been sitting curled up in James’ reclining chair and Sirius had to bend down to wrap his arms around Regulus. Sirius was practically in his lap at this point, everyone else in the room was looking at them with confused expressions.
Regulus clutched the fabric of Sirius’ shirt as if his life depended on it. He feels as Sirius’ hands card through his hair.
“-s short” He mumbles, Regulus tenses and somehow Sirius manages to hold him tighter. “It looks good, you look good little brother”
“Regulus”
“Regulus” Sirius repeats. “Regulus, I like it”

Yoko sits down beside Wednesday on a park bench.
Yoko: Hey, whats up with you? There has not been one clap back or snark all morning.
Wednesday, eyes on Enid and Divina tossing a Frisbee: If you must pry into my personal affairs, Enid asked a question that ... lingers on my mind.
Yoko: OH MY GOD.. did she like.. propose?
Wednesday: No. She asked me 'If we lived on the Moon, would I wolf out at a full Earth or always be wolfed out cause the Moon was under my feetsies?'
In the distance a very human Enid growls as Divina tries to tug the Frisbee out of her mouth.
Yoko's jaw hangs open as she stares into the sky: ... whut?
Wednesday: I have no answer and it becomes like a scar to my pride.
Yoko: Yeah
 you two sure are soulmates.

Falling asleep in the dorms

“Sirius?”
“Yeah?”
“I don’t think I like Evans anymore.”
“Shit mate, took you long enough.”
“Heh. Yeah.”

“Sirius?”
“Yeah, Prongs?”
“I might like boys. Also. Like as well as girls.”
“Join the club, Prongs. Just stay the fuck away from Moony.”
“Noted.”

“Sirius?”
“Yeah, mate?”
“What if I like a particular bloke?”
“
it’s not me, is it? Because Moony would probably kill you.”
“No.”

.
“Sirius?”
“Yes, Prongs?”
“It’s your brother.”
“I know.”
“You know?”
“Yeah, I was just fucking with you before.”
“Right.”

“Sirius?”
“Yes Prongs?”
“That’s
it’s okay?”
“Yes, James. I’d rather it be you than anyone else, to be honest.”
“Alright.”

“Sirius?”
“Go the fuck to sleep, Prongs. We’ll come up with a plan to woo him tomorrow.”
“Alright.”

.
“James?”
“What’s up, Padfoot?”
“Take care of him, alright?”
“
..yeah. Yeah, of course.”
