How do you think Lydia perceives the whole Sterek relationship? I just know that it was the huge elephant in the closet during her and Stiles's relationship.
this particular question is something @dear-massacre and i have discussed before and i've given it some thought.
admittedly it's actually a lot of thought. in my opinion the answer to this is more complicated than you would think.
i have a lot of thoughts on the subject.
lydia martin and the memoir entitled me, my boyfriend, his unresolved feelings for derek hale and my repressed feelings for my dead best friend.
i don't think lydia quite knew what she was getting into with stiles initially. she doesn't know there's something to perceive.
on the whole i think the romantic relationship lydia and stiles have is one based on a shaky foundation of idolization, trauma, obligation and confused feelings.
i do not consider it healthy for either of them. especially at the time they enter into it. there's no time or space for them to process their emotions or feelings about what has happened to them let alone their actual feelings for each other.
lydia also didn't really interact with derek very much. in season 1 lydia is on the outside of the main plot and in season 2 she's in the main plot but she doesn't know it because she's purposefully isolated.
so her and derek's interactions are incredibly limited. does she even know derek hale exists lol?
their first barely there interactions are when he's trying to kill her when he thinks she's the kanima and than when she wolfsbane roofies him to resurrect peter?
when derek brings this up in chaos rising during one of his rare interactions with allison and lydia her reaction is so funny to me though. the judgement.
she also isn't there for much of the development between stiles and derek. she doesn't know the derek-n-stiles part of derek and stiles.
she knows stiles likes derek and is friends with him i don't think she necessarily understands that stiles has feelings there let alone about possible reciprocation.
even when she sees them in the finale she's amused by their banter. or that could be holland delighted to see her ship interacting.
the narrative often puts derek, stiles and lydia into this sort of odd love triangle. except it's not a love triangle in the traditional sense. it's almost like they're put up parallel to each other and stiles is forced to chose one path or the other.
lydia and derek are very similar. they both even have defrosting the ice queen arcs becoming two of the most compassionate and selfless people on the show.
in code breaker he's kidnapped by peter to locate derek and forced to leave lydia on the lacrosse field. in abomination stiles leaves lydia crying in her car and cannot return because he gets trapped in the pool by the kanima with derek.
derek even uses stiles's words about lydia being cold-blooded as justification for him attempting to kill her thinking she's the kanima.
there's the scene that plays over peter's love monolog in battlefield that's focused on derek, stiles and lydia despite peter talking about jackson.
lydia is the one who goes with stiles to try and pay for derek's release in mexico in the dark moon.
it's an interesting repeated thing all the way up until derek leaves.
however i don't believe this was the only issue as stiles's unresolved feelings for derek isn't the only elephant in the room. there are actually two elephants in the room. the other elephant is named allison and before you ask yes i'm saying exactly what you think i'm saying.
i've said it before and i'll say it again. there are three woman who haunt the narrative of teen wolf. laura hale, allison argent and claudia stilinski.
laura hale's murder was the inciting incident that started the events of the show, allison's death in the middle of the narrative is transformative to the story and claudia's ghost being exercised is the close.
the more i watch the show for my deep dives the more i notice just how profoundly changed lydia was by her friendship with and her love for allison.
allison was the great love of lydia's life and she is never able to fully move on. it's a wound that won't heal.
like, i'm not gonna get into a treatise about it but the subtext in season 4 about lorriane martin and the loss of her wife maddie compared to lydia and her loss of allison. 👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀
allison died to save lydia and lydia has never, ever forgiven herself for it.
the death wail that lydia let out for allison was so powerful, so full of pain and terrible that it spurred meredith's benefactor plan. meredith obviously isn't completely mentally sound but hearing that come lydia made her think they were better off dead than experience that.
lydia learning to use her powers to save malia is like watching a mother lift her car off her child. lydia cannot lose another person she cares about. this also fuels her desperation to bring stiles back.
lydia tells lenore in ghosted when they're in cannan that she doesn't have a caleb except yes she does. it's allison. not to mention the symbolism in lenore's name. the lost lenore is a trope is a reference to poe's poem and usually is about the main character's deceased love interest.
as for stiles. well. there's been a lot of words written about him and derek. i don't know how many people have watched how i met your mother but in the words of robin sherbatsky "if you have chemistry you're only missing one other thing -- timing. but timing is a bitch."
that's stiles and derek. derek is the great what if for stiles.
it's not that lydia and stiles didn't love each other. of course they did. that isn't in question. it's just that love isn't always enough. ultimately they were both carrying love around for other people that they couldn't let go of.
lydia let go of stiles because she recognized how unfair it was for the two of them.

I'm watching the Teen Wolf movie and I think I'm a masochist
Liam being in Japan is so fucking random.
Him having the Nogitsune jar is even more random. Why would they trust that to Liam who wasn't in that season.
Why is Mason a deputy?
Eli has my entire fucking heart.
Dylan O'Brien took the Jeep from the set apparently so I love the idea of them having to recreate it for the movie.
Season 3 is a work of art and they're milking it for all it's worth.
"Why is Jackson here" - Scott but also me but then he won me over five seconds later.
Jackson & Ethan are still togeter. I love that so much. All my other ships might be dead but at least they're still standing.
Lydia hugging everyone is so wholesome
Malia and Parrish!! JUMPSCARE!!! I did not need that much nudity from them.
Why is this giving DCOM vibes? Seasons 1 & 2 had better production/effects than this and that is saying something.
Melissa. My Queen. I love you. You are top tier TV mum.
Do you think Derek asks for parenting advice of the Sherriff? Sherrif is giving grandpa vibes.

Jackson being worried about his own tail. This man only has one personality trait but ya know what, I love it.
Chris Argent has always been quite level headed and I appreciate that about him.
"I have to try and get through to her" "she's trying to get an arrow, through you" - are we sure this isn't Stiles' kid?
They really replaced Kira but gave this new character literally 0 personality. We only just found out her name.
"I can do this" immediately gets impaled.
The cut to Peter just vigorously sniffing the ground made me snort.
Can't believe I'm saying this but ... Jackson is the high light of this movie for me.
Derek is such a supportive dad. Why couldn't we just have a spin-off of Derek raising his late bloomer werewolf child.
Since when did Beacon Hills have a college. This town has exactly 4 locations: school, hospital, sherrif station, ice-rink.
"How the hell am I supposed to see my eyes they're the things I used to see" followed straight away by "do you like riddles" "nah I'm more of a limeric guy, more rhymey". I love it.
"He kinda looks like our old chemistry teacher" "I was your chemistry teacher JAckson you complete imbocile" I'm sorry I'm dead.
People are gonna die and yet Scott is playing lacrosse.
I zoned out of most of that ending sequence.
I also skipped Derek dying in its entirety because in my mind that did not happen. I do not accept. Moving on.
If I did acknowledge that Derek was dead I'd wonder why the fuck Scott is now raising Eli instead of: Malia, Cora, Peter, Sherrif Stilinksi, literally anyone else.
Anyways. I hated everything besides Eli and JAckson. I'm gonna go read some fanfiction now instead.

Xander Harris:
First impression: Very positive! He used to be my favorite male character on the show, the first time around actually. He was the funny nerd, I liked that!
Impression now: ...He hasn't aged very well. With every rewatch, my opinion dropped some. I still like him, but... I wish there were less sexist jokes involving him :/
Favorite moment: When he talks Willow down from destroying the world!! That was some powerful shit
Idea for a story: Mh, an idea specifically about him? I think it'd be nice to see him reunite with Cordelia. Not romantically. But just... now that they are adults, after everything, to see them talk, rekindle to a certain extend. We never learned what he thought about her dating Angel now
Unpopular opinion: I don't think it's unpopular but I think he should have never let it get as far as a wedding. The closer you rewatch, the more prominent it becomes that he didn't want to get married but he let himself be strung along by Anya's enthusiasm, just to break her heart... and that, honestly, is still the worst thing he's done, for me :/
Favorite relationship: I loved Xander/Cordy but I also loved Xander/Anya and also Xander/Renee... honestly I love most of his canon ships aside from his cured comic endgame and that affair with Willow that I'd like to delete from canon and my memory
Favorite headcanon: He'll name his only daughter Anyanka!
Simon Lewis:
First impression: Not very strong to be honest? When I first watched the movie, he didn't really stick much to my memory
Impression now: Aaah I love him a lot. Show Simon really made me love him!! AND notice him on the movie rewatches!
Favorite moment: Every time he hits on Jace *clears throat* Seriously, that conversation about bubble baths in the books???? "You think I'm pretty!"?? The boop-boop?
Idea for a story: Simon gets to accept his CLEARLY polyamorous bisexual self and finally confesses to Jace, sweeping him off his feet
Unpopular opinion: He's bisexual. "Unpopular" only because the majority of fandom headcanons him as pansexual xD
Favorite relationship: Jace! Clary! Maia! Izzy! Raphael! Shit, that boy has chemistry with everyone he ever smiled at like damn
Favorite headcanon: POLYAMOROUS BISEXUAL. And like, the poly really does feel canon because the way that boy barely let two days pass between girlfriends and there is just no other explanation for that then "He already had feelings for Maia while still having feelings for Clary and he still has feelings for Clary even while he has feelings for Maia", etc. Because otherwise the speed of his relationships just makes zero sense
Chris Argent:
First impression: Not so positive since I figured he was an antagonist, specially as the dad of Allison
Impression now: Oh, I love him. I'm glad he wasn't a bad hunter. Rugged daddy vibes
Favorite moment: Mh, can't think of one at the moment
Idea for a story: Him getting together with Peter but gosh he is so annoyed by this. Both, by his feelings and his boyfriend xDDD Also Derek teasingly calling him "uncle Chris" now because he's a little shit and Chris just regrets all of his life choices
Unpopular opinion: I don't think I have one tbh
Favorite relationship: Peter Hale!! Though I've also read him in an OT3 also reaturing Stiles ;D
Favorite headcanon: He is living happily in Beacon Hills with his very much alive daughter Allison and his annoying husband Peter :D

Little bit sick, little bit sleep deprived, but above all desperately in sudden need of a Corpse Bride au, but with polyamory like the original SHOULD have ended.
Like say the Argents are the old money family, whose money has actually run out after Gerard dumped all of it into hunting. It’s left Chris with nothing to give his daughter.
The Stilinskis are nouveau riche, and good people. John offers to help out Chris, possibly lend him money for stable investments that might help. Chris is embarrassed but grateful. Victoria is ashamed and suspicious.
She insists that the deal can only go through with a marriage of their children to ensure that the fates of their families are intertwined. John won’t be able to pull the money out from under them without it effecting his own son negatively.
Chris is 100% against it, ready to say absolutely not, but Allison steps in. She knows what their financial sitation is. Their house is falling apart around them. She’s willing to do whatever has to be done to save them.
John, for his part, is shocked by the request. He offered his help, and now they’re asking for his son? He’s ready to say no, to condemn Victoria’s interference, but Stiles, like Allison, steps in.
The Argents need help. Stiles is under no illusions as to how most marriages work. His parents’ was one of the very few that began for love rather than economic reasons. He’s never met Allison, but has heard enough about her from their social circles to think they’ll make passable partners. There’s really no reason to say no, especially not if it will save her family from poverty.
The arrangement is made, and they meet. It goes better than anyone could have hoped, honestly. Stiles is happy to find Allison clever and engaging, and Allison is relieved to find that Stiles seems to be very encouraging of her sportsmanship. It certainly doesn’t hurt that they make a gorgeous pair.
It’s not love at first sight, but it could easily grow into something beautiful.
The ceremony is rushed, what with a rather immediate need for money. The invitations are sent out to family and friends- the McCalls, the Hales, the Martins- but almost no one will be able to arrive until the day of the wedding. Luckily at least one family member is able to make it for the rehearsal dinner.
Allison always was a favorite of Aunt Kate.
Stiles is nervous, though. His ADHD doesn’t do memorization very well, and he cannot, for the fucking life of him, remember his vows. Despite quiet encouragement from Allison, the anxiety starts to overwhelm him and he has to step outside for a moment between courses.
He paces in the woods just out of sight for a bit, trying to remember the words.
“Your cup- this cup- ah fuck.”
He gives up and pulls the little sheet of paper out of the pocket, reciting the whole thing from beginning to end.
“With this hand I will lift your sorrows
Your cup will never be empty, for I will be your wine.
With this candle, I will light your way into darkness.
With this ring, I ask you to be mine.”
A sudden howl of wind tears through the grove of trees he stands in. Dead leaves swirl around him, and the ground beneath his feet begins to move, rolling as if it were being pulled like the tide. Stiles falls on his back.
A figure appears before him, a half decayed body dressed in a tattered suit, the space between exposed ribs showing the starry sky behind him.
“I do, darling.”
Stiles wakes up in a bar in the underworld. Convenient, as he’s honestly never been more prepared for a drink in his life. It’s too bad all of the drinks are for a deader liver than his.
The handsome corpse- can a corpse be handsome? Stiles spends a moment on the question, and decides that finding a corpse handsome is probably the least of the things he should be worrying about right now.
The corpse, who is by at least some definition handsome, introduces himself as Peter, and then turns around and immediately starts introducing Stiles as his husband.
“Uh, sir? Excuse me sir?”
“Oh ‘sir’ is it?” Peter says with a sinful smile and a raised eyebrow. “I can work with that.”
“No- I mean maybe- Wait, no, I can’t be your husband! I’m about to be someone else’s husband!”
“But you’re already mine,” Peter points out. “You asked and I said yes.”
“I wasn’t talking to you, I was just-“ Stiles waves a vague hand, “-talking.”
Peter frowns a little.
“But I said yes. We’re married now.” He shrugs a little, as if it’s no consequence. “I suppose if you’re really attached to them, they can be our husband too.”
“Wife,” Stiles corrects, wondering how a dead man is steering this conversation so successfully when he doesn’t even have all of his finger bones.
“Oh a wife! I’m not picky. It’s good to have variety.”
Meanwhile, above ground, Allison knows something must have happened to Stiles. Her mother is convinced that this is just the Stilinski’s trying to ruin their family name, and Chris is desperately trying to keep the peace between her on the warpath and John freaking out over his missing son. Allison tries to slip out with her bow to track him, but Kate catches her.
“You should stay here,” she says, guiding Allison back to her room. “Who knows what your mother will think if you disappear too?”
Allison argues, tries to reason with her, but before long she’s back in her room, listening to the lock of the door click behind her.
Frankly she’s shocked that Kate would take such an attitude about this. She’s always been supportive of Allison’s archery and tracking. Maybe even too supportive, because Kate’s attempts to stop Allison have zero affect on her. It’s just ten minutes later that Allison disappears into the woods after climbing out her window and down the side of the house.
Kate, meanwhile, is just thrilled that she doesn’t have to come up with her own diversion. The chaos of the missing fiancé will provide the perfect cover for her to intercept the Hales before they arrive, and finish killing them off.
Underground, Stiles discovers that if he listens closely, Peter reveals a lot in the spaces between words. Eventually Peter admits that he has to have a True Love Up Top in order to visit the living. And he has one very, very important visit to make.
“She promised to elope with your nephew, and then tried to murder him?” Stiles whispers, shocked.
“Wolfsbane,” Peter answers grimly, and to be honest, werewolves have been the most acceptable surprise Stiles has suffered today. “He got away. I didn’t.”
“Shit.”
They’re both silent for a minute.
The Stiles says, “Alright, well what are we waiting for? Let’s go kill her.”
Peter falls a little bit in actual love then.
When they get to Elder Gutknecht, Peter proudly lifts up his hand, showing off the ring rattling around the bone there, and says, “Gotta pop up for a bit and visit the in-laws!”
Elder Gutknecht peers closely at Stiles (who is trying not to think too hard about the purpose of glasses for a skeleton) and says, “What the hell have you done now, Peter.”
“You said I had to have a True Love who was still alive!” Peter says, stubborn. “This is my True Love, Stiles. The truest love. We’re married, even. That’s how in True Love we are. And he’s alive. Send us up, Gutknecht.” There’s more than a touch of threat to his tone by the end.
Elder Gutknecht, who was not prepared for this in seminary and honestly thought there would be more clouds and wings in his afterlife, says, “Fuck it. Drink this. You have 12 hours.”
Moments later, they’re standing in the grove where Stiles recited his vows on accident. Allison immediately drops down from a tree, bow pointed directly at Peter.
“Step away from my fiancé,” she growls, sounding utterly threatening and wolf-like in her own right.
“Oh, is this our wife?” Peter asks, delighted.
“Ally, where’s your Aunt Kate?” Stiles rushes to ask, stepping between them.
Allison lowers her bow, confused.
“She’s back at the house,” she says slowly. “At least I think so. She locked me in my room and I had to sneak out.”
Peter’s lost his sense of smell with the degrading of his body, but he still has other senses to rely on.
He hears coaches and horses.
Familiar coaches and horses.
His family is arriving.
Peter takes off running through the woods, Allison hot on his heels, not at all convinced that she doesn’t need to shoot him. Stiles falls behind, but manages to keep them in his sight.
Up ahead, Kate is lying in wait with wolfsbane smoke bombs, ready to disrupt the coaches and massacre the beasts within. Or she was ready, before her brother discovered her.
“Kate, you can’t do this,” he says through gritted teeth. “It’s murder. This is how our father destroyed our family.”
“It’s not murder to kill a wild animal,” she says, neither listening nor caring. The coaches appear. She throws a smoke bomb and opens fire. Peter hears everything from the tree line as he barrels toward them, and Allison sees what her Aunt has done.
Chris tries to tackle her but only succeeds in knocking her aim astray. The Hales are stumbling out of their coaches now, coughing and choking. Talia is trying to gather her betas, trying to asses the danger, but suddenly she sees the image of her dead brother and wonders if maybe they’ve already lost to whatever attacked them.
Then her brother leaps at a woman on the side of the road and rips her throat out.
Maybe not a ghostly spectre after all.
It’s all a bit of a Business™ after that.
Explanations are had, both past and present. Peter rushes things along a bit, because he only has like 11 hours left now and it’s going to take at least 9 to do the necromantic ritual that will bring him back to life, suck on that Elder Gutknecht.
Chris explains to Allison about their family’s hunting history. The Hales explain to Chris exactly what Kate had done. Stiles explains how he accidentally got married. Peter explains again that he really has to get moving now.
In the end, Stiles and Allison still get married. Peter is in attendance with the rest of the Hales, and at the reception somehow manages to get the second dance with both the bride and the groom.
He doesn’t give the ring back. He manages to get a third matching one in time for the ceremony though.

Or they’ll be walking alongside each other and Stiles will hover a hand on Derek’s lower back.
It’s both fascinating and tragic to watch, like NASA lost control of one of their robots and instead of it landing on the moon it’s fated to gravitate around it.

Ok so just finished Teen Wolf. I’m thinking I need to rewatch it again (aparantly a bad habit of mine is rewatching things after I’ve just watched them) so as I have a better grasp of what’s going on. But for now first impressions.
I’m not really surprised that Scott McCall was not my favourite character - the main main character usually isn’t. But I’m kinda disappointed that there wasn’t a whole Scott Allison and Isaac thing (I mean technically there was and the whole jealousy thing seemed kinda hypocritical of Scott I mean he got upset at the thought of a friend only thinking of kissing his ex, when he literally does the same thing?) - honestly had a fic idea where they really are a thing but they are having fun messing with everyone and it’s told from both an outsiders perspective and theirs and details making the best of a confusing supernatural situation by making it even more confusing or something, but imagine Mr Argent’s reaction “TWO WEREWOLVES!?!?!?!” Also was there any main female character that he did not kiss, just you know out of curiosity?
Honestly Stiles was probably my favourite (until s6b wherein Theo’s hair replaces him as my favourite) and he clearly has magic but no one realises it - whether or not as a biproduct of him being possessed who knows. But it explains a lot of things like the mountain ash in season 2, the hospital door unlocking whilst he and Malia are kissing (Mellisa McCall May have locked them in but I will never believe that she stared at them to make sure they made up - I mean she has work to do so she can lower her stress levels caused by her bills) oh and the fact he looked directly at the fear causing creature (whom I am not even gonna try to spell their name cause I can not) and not turning to stone like hmmm there’s something suspicious going on here.
Also loved the whole Stiles and Lydia thing. They needed the slow build up, he needed to get over his frankly obsessive crush on her and learn to see her as a human being a person, and she needed to learn how to be herself without caring about others opinions. But I also really liked the dynamic that Stiles and Malia had. They were admittedly cute.
Speaking of Malia I am unsure who I ship her with I mean her and Stiles were adorable, her and Kira had great chemistry, also her and Theo that whole attraction turned to absolute hatred I want to kill you dynamic is something I die for.
However I don’t really ship Theo with anyone (I mean if I had to it would be a toss up between Liam and Malia) I don’t know what it is but like I just cannot seem to get into shipping Theo with characters I mean if it’s like a 1000000000000 word piece about Theo working on himself so he’s ready for a stable relationship that doesn’t end in maiming killing or any other form of harm. And I mean he had a heap of character development from stabbing friends/pack mates in the back to attempting to take away pain and fighting alongside his once enemies, to taking the pain of a scared kid who was on the ‘wrong’ (hunters) side.
And yeah whilst I kinda (occasionally) ship Theo and Liam (when I’m not shipping Theo with Malia or no one), I kinda ship Liam and Hayden more just purely based off the kids abandonment issues. He would have definitely gone after her (you know after graduating and the supernatural crisis had been averted).
I mean I will say this I was not expecting Corey and Mason (I loved them) but mason and Brett. This is purely based off them having the first interaction and the hilarity of him telling Liam that he could take Brett and give him to him. Such a lovestruck dork. But yeah I agree with Brett and Mason being really good friends (May I just go ahead and say it anyone who wouldn’t be Masons friend is absolutely moronic - no offence meant - he is just a cute cinnamon roll who knows a lot of random shit and is definitely stiles fav child - because they are really similar) and Corey and Mason... I love them they are so supportive of each other and that scene in the last episode just after they tell each other I love you is incredible plus the detectivey coupley parallels between them and Stiles and Lydia are just divine.
Also evil Stiles (I mean absolutely heartbreaking) but y’know evil and fav character. I dunno if they hadn’t managed to separate Stiles and the nogistume (I’m probably spelling that wrong) and Stiles was slowly turned evil there would have definitely been some world domination going on. Also kinda just want a villain to win for once (which technically Peter Theo and Delucian did - with the whole redemption thing) but like an actual imma destroy the whole world type villain who has massive monologues - who never wins - should definitely win so long as we are seeing the point of view of the protagonists/heroes.

Fix it’s for Teen Wolf
I can think of a few things that would have made Teen Wolf better.
1. I wanted more focus on Scott’s emotional response to what happened to him. I don’t mind that Scott isn’t the type who complains about getting hurt. The problem for me was that the show rarely dealt with the consequences of Scott’s pain, and thus to the casual viewer often made it look like he simply didn’t mind, that being hurt didn’t bother him at all. Or worse, that nothing all that bad had happened in the first place.
Doing this undermined many of the hallucination scenes. For example, in Season 2’s Party Guessed, we get hallucinations for Stiles, Jackson, and Allison which give us a view into psychology, letting us know their issues without spelling them out. For Scott, we got Allison making out with kanima Jackson. Compared to the others, it felt shallow and confusing. The writers couldn’t even bother to give us dialog. He received the same treatment in Season 5, when they read the book designed to trigger their memories about the Dread Doctors. Stiles gets yet another scene about his dead mother who has been crucial to his story since Season 1. Lydia sees her grandmother and her connection to both Lydia’s powers and Eichen House, as well as foreshadowing her treatment at the hands of Valack. Malia about her Mom and sister’s death at the hands of the Desert Wolf, which is her entire arc. And Scott? He gets a nightmare about a dog that was never mentioned before and would not be mentioned after.
2. I wanted more focus on Scott’s trauma in general. In Season 1, Scott was repeatedly mentally and physically violated by Peter, terrorized and abused by Derek, and hunted by the Argents, and it was taken as a given. Even the recaps at the beginning episodes in other seasons barely show any of that. For example, Gerard attacking Scott in clear view at the hospital, stabbing him, and threatening his mother, never appeared in any of the recaps, even in episodes where it would have been important to remind the viewers about it.
While the show had no issue showing us over and over again how Stiles or Derek or Isaac or Allison or any white character really was hurt, they did not focus on the pain Scott was put through, and thus let the viewers conclude that those events didn’t matter.
The show literally had Scott try and kill himself, twice in less than two days, first in Frayed, by refusing to let himself heal, and then again in Motel California, yet neither of those suicide attempts are mentioned even once afterwards. And this while it would have been a good call back in s5b, when Scott is once again not letting himself heal after Theo killed him. and yet again, no mention whatsoever.
3. I wanted more consequences for certain characters. I liked that Scott and to a lesser extent Derek were confronted with the consequences of their actions. When they screwed up, they got called out on it. When they did something wrong, it wasn’t excused. Then they made up for it.
In contrast, certain characters, especially Stiles, got to do whatever they wanted and it was either dismissed as funny or used to make them look sympathetic. Stiles got to be mean and cruel, and the narrative still treated him as if he were the best friend ever. He got to assault people, hurt them, and it was treated as if somehow he was the victim.
For example, I would have liked Stiles a lot better, if when he tortured Scott with lacrosse balls, punishing him for who-knows-what, if someone else had called him out on it or if Scott had got to defend himself, instead of just taking it because Stiles was angry. Scott allowing Stiles to hurt him to maintain their friendship was a pattern between them, just as much as Scott taking responsibility for things that aren’t his fault. He keeps on doing it over the course of the show, but it would have been nice if the show at the very least had made it clear that that didn’t make Stiles behavior acceptable.
Just like I wish that Peter had actually faced consequences for his actions – and/or shown some kind of true remorse for his misdeeds--instead of the others just letting him hang around after all the horrible things he’d done or reduce it pettiness.
4. I would have liked more time spent on Melissa and the McCall family in general, especially on Melissa’s initial reaction to Scott being a werewolf. In the show, they barely spent two minutes total on Melissa’s reaction to finding out her son has been turned into a werewolf. By the end of s6b, she was barely even behaving like a mother anymore. Even to the point where we don’t even get a conversation between her and Chris about his attacks on her son before the two of them start dating. Now don’t get me wrong, I liked Chris and Melissa in a relationship, but it was missed opportunity to humanize both her and Scott that they didn’t bother to show her finding out about that and her reaction to it.
Instead we got the whole horror reaction, of her being horrified at seeing her son’s other face, the reaction that any LGBT kid fears when they come out to their parent. Which could have been a great metaphor, especially if they had then made it clear that Scott was bisexual.
5. I would have liked more focus on Boyd. The production time spent on Isaac and Erica, while Boyd’s arc was treated as almost an afterthought. We barely even got any hint on his past, in the episode before they killed him off. They started out with Boyd as the one who wanted to be like Scott, and then never explained it. Why not focus more on that, and their relationship?
(similar complaints go about Mason, and how little we knew about Mason, outside of him being Liam’s friend. Like... what was his relationship like with his parents? What is Mason interested in, what does he want to do with his life... how did he deal with the after effects of the Beast...
6. I would have liked more focus on Alan Deaton. The show had such huge potential with this character’s backstory, not just with the Hales but as an emissary in general. There was this whole mythology about druids that they barely even delved into.
To not even start on how little we knew about his personal life? Why did he and his sister have different last names? What was their relationship like?
Does he have any romantic relationships? Friendships, relationships in general?
Or how about more time spent on his role as a father figure to Scott, we got so few crumbs of their relationship when we should have gotten so much more
7. I would have liked more focus on Scott and Theo’s interaction in Season 6. I get that in 6a, they had Scott primarily focused on getting Stiles back, but I’ll never understand why they then didn’t use 6b, to deal with the fact that Theo had tried to murder Scott and was trying to make it up to him and the pack for what he’d done to Scott and the others.
I don’t mind Theo interacting with Liam. Those scenes were great, but they should have at least one scene with Scott and Theo dealing with the issues between them. For Theo’s sake, as much as Scott’s.
8. I would have liked a complete rework of Season 6A in its entirety. If you’re going to focus a season on an actor who isn’t available, then you have to make it about his impact on the others. Show us what difference this character made, by showing us the effects of his absence, rather than just try and make it about a romantic ship. (I’ve written a post about this already in greater detail, so limiting it to that, but seriously, that season was such a huge wasted opportunity.)
9. Actual character growth for Stiles. For a character who had as much screentime as Stiles did, it’s shocking just how little character growth Stiles had over the course of the entire show. This contrasts in a really bad way, when you look at how much every single other character grew and changed over the course of the show.
Just look at the last four episodes of 5b, to give an example. After almost an entire season of watching Stiles at his worst, focusing on emotional scene after emotional scene with him, he suddenly got relegated to comic relief. Why? Because they didn’t want Stiles to grow, because unless he grew, there was no way for him to go but down. If Stiles had taken responsibility for his actions, then they’d have had to admit that he did wrong in the first place. And they couldn’t have that happen.
10. And last but not least. More moments of the kids being kids. Even if it’s just proms and beach parties. Moments where we see the characters spend time together, when they aren’t trying to stop some bad guy. Where we can see them be friends, hang out with kids their own age. Even just to remind the audience just how young these children are. And where the viewers along with the characters can rest in between the horror, because doing so makes the horror hit far more strongly in contrast to the light.
11. Also, a better lighting budget, pretty please Davies, were a few more light bulbs that much to ask for?

Got busy browsing some tags in Ao3, you know? The usual, anyway, neglected selecting a fandom, liked a summary that didn't have any "names" so I opened the fanfic while still ignorant to whatever show or movie or book or anime or literally anything that has fanfiction, long story short,
I got sucked into the Teen Wolf fandom!!!!

However, I didn't just get stuck in a fandom i didn't want to enter, I also found myself embarking on a ship that is bound to sink as all other non-canon but perfect OTP do, can you guess whom am I talking about??

So, after reading and reading and adopting a new pair of poor unfortunate souls, I thought that I owe it to them to see the show and see them in action, it also didn't help that I really needed to know some canonical facts to read some of the fics, of course that never stopped me before (I knew future events in every fandom I became part of before I reached that stage in the show, i.e. I know about the pool floating incident and the FBI rescue and many of characters and a lot of other things before I even started the show, and I'm still in s1e8, all of that is thanks to Ao3 and Tumblr, aren't they wonderful??)
And I already don't like Scott! I don't like the character that really makes bad choices and always expect to be forgiven or not handle the responsibility, if you want to be the hero of your story you need to understand that you should trust your friends and family of choice, and they could trust you too!!
As Harvey Specter said "loyalty is a two-way street. If I'm asking for it from you, then you're getting it from me" and that doesn't end with the fact that they might be sure you won't kill them, if they can even trust that!! That is just common decency!! Caring about your crush/girlfriend is good, but never is neglecting your friends!!
And yes, I adopted Mieczyslaw “Stiles” Stilinski!
And I can't help but feel that Scott is really really verbally abusive, I mean, skip whatever non-Canon thing or obliviousness I read, what he says to Stiles and Derek on different occasions is absolutely wrong, not to mention blaming all those deaths on a supposedly dead man!
All Derek ever said or did was that he wanted to help Scott, and even if, as the audience, we didn't know that, he saw and heard and feels his emotions, so I think he definitely isn't right to accuse the guy for every problem you find! And Stiles does nothing but try and help and McCall just pushes and hurts and pushes again, I'm pulling my hair out, man! If those what friends are like, who needs enemies!!???!?!!! (after I wrote this, I actually remembered that it's actually a saying, not an invention of my brain, though I definitely agree with the OP)
And I'm not even talking about how he talks with his his mom, I'm not familiar with how teenage boys act much, because my older brother was certainly different than the stereotype, but that is never how you talk to your mother! (I'm almost 22, so I don't think I'm too old to not understand or to forget how teenagers act around their parents)
Anyway, that's not here nor there, it's not the point of this post at least, watching the series was really... Interesting, but they really make a lot of long make-out scenes between Allison and Scott, and I swear Allison deserves better!!! (again with you Mccall!!!).
Though that unfortunately means that after almost every episode I had to take a break and read some fanfic to calm down since things weren't moving fast enough. (I need more Stiles screen time!!)
Nevertheless, even though every otp I ever had is beautiful and awesome, since I'm currently so engrossed in this fandom, I wanted to say that this pairing has something special, and I'm not even sure what, call it "my spider-senses are tingling" or whatever, and while perusing through Tumblr for recommendations, someone was mentioning some fics for Steter (I didn't even see Peter in action yet, but don't you think he's more than a little old for my baby?) and then found some Sterek recommendations, all that was running through my head was "this is soothing my soul"
And I think that this is enough for me, if I wasn't sure before that I loved the pairing, this thought proved to me that they already stole a piece of my heart and added another strand to my soul.
I always feel pain when a strong emotion resonates inside me, especially while reading, but reading fanfics about them is almost a constant pulse of pain that won't leave till either the fic ended or I closed the app, I almost wear a constant wince while reading because of it instead of the occasional one.
And that's the beginning of my descend along this ship, greetings to all the other passengers, and you have my condolences because of that cannon canon that always takes the most beautiful and solid ships down.

The wound on Chris' side is glaringly purple, mocking him, and it's taking every ounce of control in Peter to not crowd the human against the counter of the Argent's kitchen and just do the goddamn dressing himself. Is it really that hard to dress wounds? Peter doesn't know, because he's a healthy, alive werewolf who heals in seconds, unlike Chris, who is human and still decided to jump in front of him to prevent Peter getting shot—and it wasn't even wolfsbane.
Peter could smell. Rather, he couldn't. Which was really naive of the hunters—kids, really—and now he has to suffer through this.
“You can go.” Peter snaps his eyes up, and into Chris' mess of a hair. It's worse than Scott's shaggy hair that he had last year.
“But I am enjoying the show,” Peter says easily. It's not a complete lie. Chris is fine. A total DILF if there ever was one. But right now both his wolf and his hea—mind are more focused on not losing control. He hates that the human got hurt, and now he can't even tease his nephew about the same. That's a shame. And Stiles bruises so easily, too. That boy should really just spell himself to be not clumsy, it would give Derek another ten or twenty years before he gets grey hairs.
“You can enjoy it with Melissa. I don't need a babysitter, Peter.”
The sudden anger that's emanating from Chris finally pulls his thin mockery of control away, letting his unsheathed claws be exposed to the keen eyes of the veteran hunter, who straightens immediately at the sight.

“Maybe I'll go and bother Melissa, then.” He says sharply, and Chris nods, sharp and precise.
Peter hates seeing Chris hurt. Especially for him. But Chris has hurt much, much deeper than that bullet could have ever done and yet... He loves him.

“I love you,” Chris says, and Peter stops breathing. He chances a glance at the other boy, who looks so earnest and just a little nervous, the basketball in his hand twirling without any real effort.
“Like—like a friend?” He asks, because he isn't supposed to have good things. He might have realised he's in love with his best friend weeks ago, but his life isn't a fairy-tale. The two of them can never be together. It will only end in blood and death.
And Peter would rather have Chris alive and hating him than dead.
He can't see Chris dead. That would be a fate worse than death.

The meeting—that's supposed to be a pack meeting about progress on the unhinged witch—ends up being a movie night. Stiles corrals everyone into staying, even if the Sheriff and Melissa leave halfway through because of their demanding jobs. Chris itches to leave, too, and it's more than just not being the only other adult—as much as Derek is the Alpha, he's still a kid—than Peter, who has been inconspicuously absent from his house since that day two weeks ago, when he'd told the 'wolf to leave in anger.
Anger he didn't know he could still feel. He'd believed he was long past that. But apparently not.
And he now has a bullet hole on his side to remind him.
As Chris watches Allison slink closer and closer to Scott, he sees his excuse.
“Stiles, I know pack bonding is important, but I'd rather be home than watch my daughter and her not-boyfriend being all snuggly.”
Scott, who'd been sipping on his glass of coke, chokes, and Allison blushes furiously. Chris feels pride in the fact that his daughter can easily take down people twice her size whenever she wants, and still be the same adorable little girl she's been since birth.
“Uh,” Stiles, and the others, seem to be half-mortified and half-amused at his jab at Scott and Allison's relationship, which is worse than Ross and Rachel's arc on friends, and just as that thought pops in his head, he searches out Peter in the crowd of a now laughing teens. The moment he does, he can see the mirth in those blue eyes he'd once spent ages trying to dive into.
It feels like the old days when they share the small smile, remember the study sessions turned F.R.I.E.N.D.S. binge, and just like that, the moment is broken.
Peter isn't the same anymore.
He isn't the same anymore.
His sister—she killed Peter's family. And Peter had played dolls with her, more than once.
He feels tears threating his eyes, and because this is a pack of wolves, they immediately catch on to the change in atmosphere. Even the non-wolves pick up on it fast.
“I—I need to go.” He says, voice broken.
He's remembering the last time he and Peter had been together, in their room, his basketball in hand and arguing over theories of how the show could complicate Ross and Rachel's lives more.
He leaves without a second glance.
Derek follows him down to his car, where he's only just reached the handle, and says, “He still loves you, you know.”
Chris shakes his head. “He never did,”
Derek's frown deepens, like he's thinking of how to explain some fundamental thing to a child. Like Peter being in love with Chris is just a fact that he's known all his life, and it's a fact that's as permanent as the Earth revolving around the Sun.
Chris doesn't know how to feel about that.
“When was the last time you saw me lose control?”
He sighs, but he knows he won't get out of this without answering. The Hales have always been stubborn, and Derek is no less.
“When Stiles got hurt.” Because of the lacrosse game. It wasn't even life-threatening, for a change, but Derek had, like every single other time Stiles has been hurt, gone ballistic. Chris is just glad Isaac, Boyd, Jackson and Scott all had been there to stop the poor kid—Greenburg might have been his name—from being killed.
“Peter couldn't control his beta shift two weeks ago.” Derek says, and then he's gone.
Chris frowns after him, remembers seeing the claws that day when Peter had followed him home, and remembers feeling as if Peter lost control because of him.
Like he used to think when they were young. When he thought that Peter was falling for him just like he was falling for Peter.
Maybe he wasn't wrong about that.
Just maybe, Peter did fall for him.

Stiles finds Derek in his bedroom, just like he has for the past six months. Ever since Peter and Chris got together—after being in love for decades, and hadn't that been a shock for everyone—the loft is apparently “bad for my nose and my brain,” according to Derek.
They settle in their casual rhythm of banters and snark and sass as he completes his homework and Derek reads the latest book that has caught his interest, and it's hours before either of them moves.
From the corner of his eye, Stiles sees Derek perk up, the way all the 'wolves do when they smell someone coming. Stiles finds it adorable on everyone, and whenever he catches Derek doing it his heart just triples its beat at the cuteness of it all.
He's falling for the older man and he doesn't know what to do. Especially when everyone in the pack—including his dad and Melissa who have each other—have found someone to be with. They've literally all coupled up, even Isaac—Cora literally... No, that's Peter... Cora metaphorically came back to life just to couple up with Isaac—which, by default, leaves him with Derek.
It's not all bad, he gets to be with Derek more times than not, and he enjoys their time together, but it's also... Hard. Being so close yet so far.
He can't believe Peter and Chris lasted so many years without dying of heartbreak.
“Peter and Chris.” Derek informs him.
“I thought they were having—”
“Don't!” Derek puts his hands on top his ears, and it's just. So. Adorable. Stiles can't help but laugh, even though he knows he's just digging himself a bigger grave.
And then five minutes later, Peter, Chris, him and Derek are sitting on the dining table looking at two cake boxes.
Stiles is confused. So is Derek.
“What?” He asks, because what?
Peter grins, one hand pushing the white box towards Derek, while the other rests on Chris' shoulders.
Chris pushes the other box towards him.
“Just open it.” Chris instructs. Stiles shares a look with Derek.
“It's cake,” he says, and then opens his black box.
And freezes.
Peter looks at his cake. “Oh, this one is for Derek.” Before Stiles can make his hands grab the box, Derek is peering down at it, too.
Stiles wishes to be killed by the damn gnomes. Where are the supernatural problems when you need them? Fuck his life.
“Uh...” is all Derek says as he reads what's written on the cake.
It says, “Stiles loves you, nephew.”
Stiles buries his head in his hands.
Chris pushes supposedly Stiles' cake towards him. “Open it,” he urges, softly.
Stiles chuckles hollowly. “That one has my real name?” He wouldn't put it past Peter. Especially since last week he'd pranked the 'wolf with the old shaving cream trick.
Dude looked funny with the white beard. Also, it's really easy to get a jump on post-sexy times sleeping Peter Hale.
Chris just pries open his fingers from his eyes and shoves the open box in his face.
This cake says, “Derek loves you, little Red.”
“Uh...” is Stiles' response to that.
“Now, we'll be off. Do us a favor and get rid of the UST.”
Peter saunters off, Chris in tow, who is giggling softly.
“Noah has a double-shift,” the hunter adds, and Stiles' immediate reaction is to shout at Peter.
“You've spoiled him!”
Derek thinks this is his chance to strike, because he comes in Stiles' field of vision with a small, shy smile. His shoulders look far more relaxed than he's ever seen them, like a big weight just got lifted from them.
“If you want, you can be spoiled too.” He says seriously. Stiles loses it.
“Oh, buddy, if you think that... You need to be taught a couple things, honeybuns. I'm the Alpha in this relationship.” It's true, too. Everyone has called them out on it. And that's when they're just friends.
Derek sighs, resigned. “Don't call me that,”
Stiles just grins and hugs Derek tight.
Who knew the realizations of two middle-aged men and their craptastic schemes with cakes would give him a truly, completely happy Derek Hale, laughing the most freely that Stiles has heard from the Alpha in the two years that he's known him?
Not Stiles, that's for sure.

"You can't be serious, Derek! You know what she's done." Her voice is dangerously low but Derek wills himself to not cave.
"I'm not saying I trust her. I'm saying we can use her." The fact that he won't meet Allison's eyes is telling; the bond they've created over the past few months solid enough that she sees his hesitation in going through with the plan.
"I'd say I can't believe you, but I know you and I know what this could mean. Just... don't forget what we've been through."
She walks away at that, turning her face so he can't see the tears, but he hears the slightest note of a whimper as she holds in a sob. Too many secrets and lies between the entire pack have made everyone a little frayed, tethers tying members together in ways they hadn't expected.
Stiles pulls Allison into a hug to help muffle her feelings and he watches Derek, knowing she and Cora have already given argument for him to not go through with this. He has tears of his own, but for his father, not the decision on the table. It's been a full day since Jennifer took his father, and while she has guaranteed he is still alive, he has no reason to take her word for it.
Derek, on the other hand, doesn't give himself the space to process his emotions in this moment, knowing the eclipse is almost upon them. He turns to face Jennifer instead, determination painted across his face. If only one other person can see through that facade, she's already refused to look at him in this moment.
"What do I need to do?"
The first thing Laura notices is the smell of rubbing alcohol, pungent and sharp, followed by the overwhelming mixture of fear, anxiety, and anger in the air. It's cloying enough to cover the secondary scents of animals, dogs and cats and a few gerbils. The combination doesn't make sense to her, clashes with what fragments she remembers. It feels like a bad dream, seeing half-turned Peter lunge at her, the full moon bright above their heads. But he couldn't be there, he was comatose, wounds still trying to heal despite his abilities. She groans in confusion, shaking her head, only to hear unfamiliar voices.
"She's awake," a female voice gasped, relief washing over it. "Derek, she's awake!"
Where is Derek?! Were they attacked? Is he safe? Laura's internal voice was frantic, the name pulling her out of her stupor.
"Might want to be a little quieter," a male voice said. It was familiar, too familiar, and Laura felt herself grow a little calmer despite the confusion. "She hasn't exactly been able to hear for a while."
Was that Stiles? Sheriff's son, Stiles? The hell was he doing here?
"Take it easy, this is going to be a bit of a slow process," a different female voice chimed in. This one sounded closest, maybe a foot from Laura's ear. She had to be mistaken, there was no way she was hearing who she thought she was. "You're probably a bit confused, but you have your family here. I think they'd like to say hello."
Family? As in more than Derek? What the hell is going on?
Laura makes a few unintelligible sounds, her mouth feeling like it's full of cotton. She awkwardly moves her tongue to lick her lips and is surprised by just how dry they are before a hand gently holds the back of her head, pushing up slightly to press a water bottle to her mouth.
"C'mon now, Laura, you can do this," the same male voice from before says. She forces herself to swallow a sip, and then another and another after that. "There you go."
The entire situation is starting to feel more and more bizarre, but she can't communicate that. She feels like she's stuck underwater, all of her senses damped yet present still. More sounds try to fight their way out of her mouth, and she's struggling against her own body until she feels a breath against her chest, the feeling of someone leaning close to her mouth to hear what she's trying to say, a steadying hand pressed firmly against her shoulder to keep her from moving.
"Der-, where'she?! Whe-" It's a murmur, the words slurring together, but it has fire behind it.
"Oh god," she hears a deeper voice chime in. Heavy footsteps follow as the voice's owner comes closer at an apparent run. "Laura? Laura, I'm right here." She can feel the distant touch of someone holding her hand in theirs, pressing a kiss to the pack of it.
"Der'k?" She questions. It doesn't sound like him, but nothing else is right either. Her body aches ferociously as she wills herself to turn in the voice's direction, practically falling off the bed until he catches her form, letting her curl her head against his chest.
"I'm here, Laura. Can you hear me? I'm not going anywhere." He wraps an arm around her, cradling her head, and her heart finally settles, still anxious, but at least Derek is alive.
"Are you kidding me?! What the hell were you thinking?" Laura's voice echoes in the house, Alpha tenor intermingled with human outrage.
Stiles widens his eyes as he pivots on the spot and walks back into the kitchen, making a slashing motion across his throat to ward off Derek's approach. The latter is sipping on a coffee, classic Hale scowl a seemingly permanent fixture on his face.
"They're at it again," Stiles whispers dramatically.
It's only been a day but already Laura is livid with both Jennifer and Derek, incredulous that they would tamper with death so blatantly. At this point, they're all anxiously waiting for the full moon, unsure if Laura will react the same way as she once would.
"I was thinking it would help save your kid brother! Once upon a time you'd do anything for him." The words cut like ice coming from Jennifer's mouth, and Laura is stunned for a moment.
"And how exactly would that include letting my ex prey on him? Just because he didn't recognize this face instead of Julia's didn't give you the right to manipulate him into this." Her voice is lowered, a sign that she is struggling with control.
"You know full well that we're connected, Laura. It's how we met all those years ago."
"His unintentional blood sacrifice on the Nemeton does not equate some fucked up bond, and you know it. Yes, you became entangled in the Hale family, and yes, I once loved you. But I don't even recognize you anymore, Julia." She narrows her eyes in warning, flashing the red, before stalking outside.
"Are you kidding me?" She grumbles, and Derek and Stiles follow her out to see Deaton standing on the porch. He gives an awkward little wave and Laura rolls her eyes.
Rather than addressing the man, she turns back to Derek, who backs up a few steps. He's been avoiding too much direct contact with her, a sister now in her body from eight years ago. Her mind may have caught up, but it's still strange seeing her like this.
"Did you call him?" It's a direct question, and she doesn't try to add any softness to it like she's done so far with him.
"I just figured - he knows a lot, okay? Mom trusted him, but she never even knew Jennifer. I just want to make sure you're okay."
Stiles watches the siblings from the side, never having seen Derek quite like this. He defers to Laura, which makes sense, but he's also talking to her like he thinks she'll crack, almost like he's afraid of her. He knows it makes sense, what with Peter's manipulation to bring himself back to life. Still, though, this isn't the Derek Stiles thought he knew or remembered.
"I'm fine," Laura grumbles. "Yes, I was dead, and no, I still don't want to see our psychotic uncle who killed me. I may be in younger me's body but I'm fine."
"Yeah, you are," Stiles chimes in, lopsided smirk on his face. Laura just rolls her eyes in response and shakes her head before stepping off the porch.
"I need a little alone time, okay? I'll be back, I promise." She looks to Derek at this and Stiles can feel the way he relaxes at the reassurance. "I just need to breathe by myself for a bit."
Derek and Stiles both nod as she walks on, seeing her give Deaton a small smile and squeeze his hand before shifting into a wolf mid-run and disappearing into the preserve.

How quickly did/will they fall in love? It was a bit of a process the first year, it wasn’t instant love. Though the connection was there due to the soulmate bond. Especially Chris took his time to allow himself to love. The first one to fall was Peter, he fell for Noah first, then Noah fell for Peter. When Chris came into their lives, Peter realized he loved him during one of their Nemeton visits. Noah followed a few weeks later. Chris was the last to fall for both of them.
How was their first kiss? Sweet, a little sloppy, and Chris bumped his head at least twice while giggling. Much to Peter and Noah’s amusement.
Wedding:
Who proposed? Peter did, at the Nemeton when he gave them their Triskelion Necklace parts.
Who is the best man/men? Derek is the best man, the groomsmen are Jackson and Stiles. Ben was their ring bearer.
Who is the braid’s maid(s)? Melissa is their best ma’am. Allison and Malia are the bride's maids.
Who did the most planning? Peter did, he choose all the fashion, the venue, paid for the wedding, got the caterer and the florist. (though Chris tried to pay for things as did Noah, but Peter wouldn’t have it. They bought the rings and Peter’s suit for him as ‘retaliation’. Chris and Noah also planned a little song called here comes the sun that their pack, friends, and family sang to them as they walked down the aisle with Peter. Noah played the guitar for the occasion with Malia.)
Who stressed the most? Chris, he’s the internal stresser of the group and he had a few panic attacks while trying to get everything in place. Noah was a close second.
How fancy was the ceremony? - Back of a pickup truck | 2 | 3 | 4 | Normal Church Wedding | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Kate and William wish they were this big. (They rented a place, invited closest friends and family but kept it on the down-low.)
Who was specifically not invited to the wedding? Kate, Gerard, Elias, and one other person who shall not be named yet.

Who is on top? They switch, all of them like to top and bottom and they’re not picky on who gets to be on top/bottom. Things just happen.
Who is the one to instigate things? Usually Peter, but Chris or Noah (especially when they team up) can be real degenerates as well.

How many children will they have naturally? Between the three of them? 8 in this universe. Twins: Allison & Jackson, Stiles & Malia, Adeline & Mikhail, and the singles: Ben, TBN (Currently named Kaya but that might change)
How many children will they adopt? They fostered Isaac, and unofficially adopted Erica and Danny. (Boyd is part of the pack though, but since he’s mated to Erica at some point it feels weird to say they adopted him too)
Who gets stuck with the most diapers? Peter, and he doesn’t mind it one bit. He didn’t get to change many diapers for Allison & Jackson or Ben, got his fair share of them with Malia & Stiles though. But he doesn’t mind, his mates were pregnant and gave birth, so it only seems fair he needs to step up in the diaper department.
Who is the stricter parent? Chris. Noah tries but is too soft most of the time or too chaotic, and Peter just can’t say no once one of the kids pulls puppy eyes. (Especially Ben. And the others know it.)
Who stops the kid(s) from doing dangerous stunts after school? Chris is best at stopping them, Noah tries to but due to his job can’t always keep an eye on them. Peter comes with them to let them explore but safely. He protects them while they do stupid shit.
Who remembers to pack the lunch(es)? Chris. He’s got the whole routine down to pat and is a streamlined machine in the mornings. Noah still can’t wrap his head around it.
Who is the more loved parent? The kids had a phase where they preferred Peter, since he’d just come into their lives again, but once that died down they all loved their parents equally. (Jackson would never admit it, but he comes to love Noah as a parental figure. I have something planned for that.)
Who is more likely to attend the PTA meetings? Peter, he loves to hear how his kids are doing in school and doesn’t mind to absolutely obliterate their teachers if he knows a teacher is picking on his kids. He lives for shit like this as the rich house husband to his two working husbands. Also, the opportunity to brag to Karen about Jackson & Stiles’s grades or Malia’s shop accomplishments, or Allison’s latest political victory in the student council as their vice president (Lydia’s the president, they’re a power couple.) is just too good to pass up.
Who cried the most at graduation? Peter, he finally gets to see a milestone up close and personal for all of his kids. Though Noah is openly crying as well, and Chris has watery eyes. (He keeps it in until they get home and then hugs all the kids while crying.)
Who is more likely to bail the child(ren) out of trouble with the law? Let’s face it, it’s Noah. He technically has to make sure that the law is upheld, but when it comes to his own kids, he’s not above giving them a pass. Though he’s more lenient towards kids in general. But yeah, Noah will most likely try and bail his kids out. Peter would let them steam for a few hours in a “You got caught, you deal with it.” Kinda way and then bail them out after a few hours. Chris would let them steam for a bit too and then determine how big the offense was before bailing them out.
Cooking:
Who does the most cooking? Chris, he’s the most practiced and most efficient. Though Noah loves to cook Polish food and bread. Peter does it when both of his mates have to work or are too tired to cook. He’s getting better at it.
Who is the most picky in their food choice? Peter. Werewolf senses mean he has a fussy pallette. He hates most vegetables for one. Though he has competition in Jackson once Jackson takes the bite, the little shit is a regular Gordon Ramsey.
Who does the grocery shopping? Peter, since Noah and Chris, tend to work during the day and he’s more of a stay-at-home house husband and dad. Chris gives him the lists. That doesn’t stop him from sneaking in snacks and candy for himself, Noah, and the kids.
How often do they bake desserts? At least once a week. Whether it’s for bake sales, PTO meetings, birthdays, weekends, a tryout, there’s always a baked good on the kitchen counter.
Are they more of a meat-lover or a salad eater? Peter and Noah are more Meat lovers. Chris is a mix between the two. He likes salads and meat but doesn’t have a preference over either. Unlike the other two.
Who is more likely to surprise the other(s) with an anniversary dinner? Peter, he takes them out to a grill restaurant. It doesn’t have to be fancy, but the quality has to be outstanding. They get their older kids to babysit and let them order anything they want as a reward.
Who is more likely to suggest going out? Once again, Peter, I feel like Noah or Chris would be more likely to be home dwellers and Peter’s the one that takes them to bars, musicals, restaurants, malls, etc.
Who is more likely to burn the house down accidentally while cooking? Noah, he’s not a bad cook, but he gets distracted by everything else and forgets he has pots/pans on the furnace.
Chores:
Who cleans the room? Chris or Peter.
Who is really against chores? Noah forgets to do them sometimes, but I feel like none of them is actually against them. Peter doesn’t like to do them but he likes a clean house, so.
Who cleans up after the pets? They have eight kids, a bunch of werewolves, a banshee, a kitsune, a hellhound, a Seelie, and god knows what else running around on the full moon. You think they have room for a pet???
Who is more likely to sweep everything under the rug? Peter. If there’s no evidence it never happened. Now come help me clean this up before you papa and poppa get home. Or when it comes to his mates he just speaks softly and forgives. He’s been in a coma for six years, he’s not gonna let anything trivial get to him. Family is everything.
Who stresses the most when guests are coming over? Chris. It’s his training and a bit of an OCD thing. “No, you don't get it Noah my love, EVERYTHING has to be spotless...” Cue Chris running around with a vacuum cleaner and a mop. “It’s just Melissa & Derek for wine night...”
Who found a dollar between the couch cushions while cleaning? Chris, and he puts them in the fun jar that they use to reward the kids. Once the jar is full, they go shopping or do another fun activity with the kids. Bad behavior/swearing gets money removed from the jar and into the dad jar. That money is used to give Chris/Peter/Noah an extra outing if the kids were particularly difficult.
Misc:
Who takes the longer showers/baths? Noah is a slut for long showers/baths. It’s his moment of relaxation.
Who takes the dog out for a walk? Noah occasionally walks Peter in his wolf form. At some point, people think Peter is a K9 unit, and Noah rolls with it. Which opens up opportunities for Peter to stay with Noah at work.
How often do they decorate the room/house for the holidays? Every year they decorate for Christmas, the midwinter solstice/yule, the spring equinox, thanksgiving, Halloween/Samhain.
What are their goals for the relationship? To love and support one another through anything and to keep a fun and raging sex life well into old age. But mostly to love and cherish one another and build each other up just the way they are.
Who is most likely to sleep till noon? Chris if you let him, training and habit have him up early, but his natural sleep cycle is to sleep like a log and to Noon.
Who plays the most pranks? Noah, he’s a mischievous little shit that loves to pull pranks on people and very sassy to boot. Where do you think Stiles and Malia have that from?

Unpopular Opinions: Fandom Edition
Hey none of you asked but I’m here to deliver so here are some unpopular opinions for the fandoms I’m in. Spoilers, duh.
Marvel:
I don’t like Natasha. Or Steve.
Pepper Potts is a top.
As much as I love Loki, his death was nessicary in Infinity War.
Steve should have killed Bucky in Civil War. He was a threat, plain and simple.
I ship Ironstrange/Supremefamily.
Clint should have died in Infinity War.
I love Tony Stark with my whole heart. (Not an unpopular opinion but you needed to know that)
I’m not happy with the end of Endgame.
10 years in the making....for you to do Thor like that?
Not because he’s fat or because he’s dealing with trauma, that’s totally acceptable.
What’s not acceptable is them making Thor into the butt of the joke because he’s fat.
I love the Antman movies.
I’m totally not biased because I loved lost.

Shuri is the best Marvel character and would beat Tony Stark in a battle of wits.

With as many years as Marvel has had the MCU, I am disgusted at the lack of diversity within the movies.

I don’t ship Bellarke that hard.
Like yes, I think they’re obviously being groomed to end up together. I know the show runners will make them official before the end of the series. I’m not mad about that, I just don’t really care to be honest. It’s like, too obvious.

What they did to Monty was bullshit but what they did to Jasper was worse.
I feel no guilt whatsoever in saying that I think that killing all of Mount Weather was what they should have done from the beginning.
Yes, even the kids. Because if you kill their leaders, the men and women will fight back. The colony would have been left with a handful of adults, and a bunch of kids if the origional plan had worked. This is doomed to fail and honestly just killing them all would be better than seeing them kill eachother for food, power, whatever. If that makes sense.
I think that Finn deserved to die.
I think that Murphey deserves the world.
Charlotte fucking killed Wells. Yes she’s young but she knows better than to kill someone. Maybe not kill her, but we all know that Clarke wouldn’t have banished her like she did Murphey. Clarke has a gender bias because Murphey didn’t do anything and she wouldn’t have punished Charlotte as hard because she’s a young girl. I rest my case
Even though what he did was bad and wrong, I don’t think Murphey should have been banished. He’s right. They were all compliant and even excited when he was being hung, but when it’s a little girl all bets are off.
Like Bellamy brought the whole hostage thing upon himself because he fucking tied a noose around Murphey’s throat.
Again, not that what Murphey did was right. He didn’t have to act like that. Jasper didn’t do anything to him.
Also this segment is getting long but the show writers and everyone else just casually forgot that Murphey was TORTURED? Hello? Are we not going to acknowledge that?
I shipped Clexa with my whole heart.
Another actually popular opinion: what they’ve done to Raven’s character this season is bullshit. Her only role is Abby’s moral compass. This is the same girl who shuttled to earth in a Tin Can. She’s better than this.

And then they proceeded to not talk about it for like four episodes and then casually mention it in passing like “oh he saved Pria that means he gets to live”
Like they set up his character to be really important this season.

I think that Murphey/Emori is the best ship.
I also think that Either Murphey or Emori or Both are secretly double crossing the Primes. (This comes out before the finale of season six)

The opening of season three is so weak that I actually stopped watching the show around that time (I’d been watching since the beginning of season two) because there’s just nothing there in the first like 10 minutes and I couldn’t do it.
Maybe I’m just impatient but it’s bad.
I think that Octavia did the best that she could with what she had available and I think that’s she’s not a bad person for what she did with the fighting pits/cannabalism. And I know that if Bellamy had been in her place, he would have eventually done the same.
Kane was a whiny bitch in season 5.
Why’d the kill Diyoza(I can’t spell) like that?
I liked Joesephine. It was really fun to see Eliza Taylor be able to get a new character in the show. Also props to her for that last episode with pretending to be Joesephine and being Clarke at the same time.

Octavia’s redemption arc this season is beautiful.

Seriously guys it’s a good show.

I’m infinitely more mad that they named that disgrace of a show Black Summer and claimed that it was a prequel....but it didn’t follow the same cast and had they not advertised it as a prequel I would never have guessed.
Black Summer gives totally opposite vibes than Z Nation does. I get that black summer is supposed to be the worst time that the zombie apocalypse ever had, with cannibals and no food, but it feels like s completely different show.
It’s like if The Walking Dead claimed that it is a prequel/occurs during Shaun of the Dead.
Like....no. They’re....no.
Anyway watch it it’s good.
Detroit: Become Human
Connor isn’t the best character.
This is an unpopular opinion post deal with it.
Markus has to be my favorite.
Honestly this game is so good and not even just graphics-wise.
It’s the same robotic sentience story we’ve been fed for years, but this time it’s from the Android’s perspective and this time all they want is to be free. That’s it.
I fucking hate North.
Hank is literally if Rick from Rick and Morty were serious.
The only correct way to play Connor is to walk the thin line between deviant and regular A.I. Without leaving out Hank. The correct thing to do is make Conner deviant at Jericho.
The only correct way to play Kara is to protect Alice with every fiber of your being. Meanwhile, get close to her. Do not get caught, even if that means dissappointing her.
The only correct way to play Markus is to lead a peaceful revolution. Also tell North to fuck off.
The border patrol guy who either gets Kara and Alice caught or knowingly lets Androids cross the border is the best character. Forget about Markus, this guy sees either “oh fuck androids are killing people, maybe we shouldn’t let this one cross the border” or “Androids just want to be free and are peacefully fighting for this. Let this one and her daughter through.” I love him.

Let Out The Bear He Just Wants To Say Hi :)
Even though I think Conner is overrated by the fandom, I do like him.
But he’s not a pure innocent cinnamon roll either.
It depends on how you play, but he has really violent options so stop the “He wouldn’t harm a fly” attitude.
But he is cute.
The home screen for the game is revolutionary (no pun intended) and I hope future game follow suit in making the first impression of the game something cool.
Stealing clothes/money/the fence cutters is literally okay.
Also if you put Kara in white hair you can die.
If in your first actual play through you got the Kara lives at the recycling plant ending but Alice dies, you can die too.
I’ve never actually seen the steal money and go to motel option play out because it’s stupid, especially if you don’t steal clothes. Like that’s begging to be caught.
Stranger things
Billy Hargrove is bad and just because he’s abused does not make what he does okay.
Harringrove is gross and I’m gay so my opinion counts as double.
That being said, there are some really cute fics about Harringrove and I can see the appeal of “good boy falls for mysterious bad boy with a dark past and trauma”
I’ve said I’m gay this whole post because I say it a lot, but I don’t like actually labeling myself but I like girls and boys and everything in between and I say I’m gay kinda as a joke when girls are hot.
That being said...
Steve Harrington calling himself Daddy made me feel things.
Strange things.
Haha get it I’m making a joke to distract you from the daddy part.
Steve Harrington is a good person now, but he was still an asshole before and he can still be criticized for his past.
I used to be hardcore Jancy but after season three I feel like Nancy needs and deserves a break from boys so she can figure out herself and who she is now and what she wants to do without the weight of boys and boyfriends constantly around her.
That being said i still don’t like Nancy because she was flirting/slept in the same bed with Jonathan whilst obviously having feelings for him while she and Steve were still a thing. It’s not cheating but to me it’s close enough to raise red flags.
Robin is perfect in every way.
I don’t like Jonathan. He’s creepy in s1, fine in s2, but then is s3 he doesn’t do anything to or about his male bosses when Nancy is being made fun of because she’s a woman.
Seeing Nancy’s class priveledge/Jonathan’s male priveledge clashing was so cool tbh
Elmax > Mileven > Lumax
Jim Hopper, with all his faults, is still a caring dad.
Plus him threatening Mike made me laugh so hard sksksksks
Steve Harrington deserves the world and then some.
Low key I really want s4 to give in insight on his family life.
I also want him to get an apartment with Robin.
Robins cute tbh but for half the season I though she was a Russian spy. I guess I was wrong.
Mrs. Wheeler shouldn’t sleep with billy (not that she can now) because it’s wrong, but the reason she wanted to is because her husband is so boring and she gave up on her dreams to be his perfect housewife. She wanted a challenge with Billy. Instead, she should leave her pushover of a husband and find someone better.
Anyway Steve Harrington deserves the world.
