i remember when I was in year 6 my primary school teachers scared the shit out of me by telling us that simple things like forgetting to bring a ruler to class will get you detention in high school. why did they say that 😭

There is tension brewing in the right wing of science department. The rumours talk of Professor Stark being ridiculously reckless about his experiments again. But that's just hot air. MJ knows this. He's a meticulous person when it comes to them blowing things up in the lab. And a little too wire brained about his students' safety. He walks barefoot when working with heavy equipment. But he sent Harley to detention for handling glass tubes without his safety gloves.
It's a part of the package of Professor Stark's "science bros" experience and the few select of them have wholeheartedly committed themselves to it.
Well, there's also the other thing they've committed themselves to. And it must be why half the school is talking about the return of hot firemen trio.
"I hear the blond one is married to coach Carter?"
"Miss Sharon? Eugh! Aren't they like— related?"
"No! For the last time, Kate, they just look similar!"
"Still, ew. I heard he used to have hots for our principal."
"Okay, I did not know about that."
Foolish children, MJ snorts and opens the group chat.
"Who was it this time?"
Peter's reply is quick. She will forever be jealous of his ability to type without even looking at the screen. It is insanely unfair.
"Gwen."
MJ grins and ducks behind her book to avoid the questioning looks from her study group. But Kamala and Kate are too busy comparing the merits of Coach Sharon and Mister Blond Fireman. And Yelena is just snoring on the table with her hand stuck inside Kate's hoody.
Amateurs. Also, weirdoes.
"Miles says it was his turn though," Peter sends again, followed closely by Miles' ", IT WAS 😫".
Gwen just flips them all the bird, and then goes offline. To either plead for her innocence or keep a close eye on their job.
Nearly half an hour later, she sends them all a picture.
In it Professor Stark is standing with his arms crossed, looking smug about something. While the hot, blond fireman is adorably flushed and a little bit embarrassed.
"He bet that Tony couldn't state even one fire safety rule," she adds below the picture. Then adds a little smug grin and ", he listed ten".
"I call enemies to lovers."
Everyone sends Pav the side eye and MJ almost hits enter on "why do we need to put a genre on their romance" before deleting the entire sentence. She doesn't need a redo of Banner-Odinson drama in the group. Nobody does.
"Guys guys," Miles suddenly adds and MJ's eyes grow wide reading the next text.
"Sarge just tried to flirt with Tony and guess who got jealous," Hobie adds and—oh no.
"Hobie!!!!"
"Too slow, sorry 😎" Then he signs off on them.
"Wait," MJ asks, just to give Miles another chance. "Which one's Sarge?"
Miles sends a picture. In it, a beefy, long haired brunette is slouching next to Tony, a smarmy smile on his face while the hot blond is stoically staring at the wall.
"Isn't he the guy who's shacking up with our councellor?"
"Yep," Miles adds then. "🤔 Maybe he's inviting Tony for a three way?"
"Like a poly thingy," Pav asks and MJ can almost smell the incoming barrage of texts from him.
"Omg, guys 🫢
That would be so cute though! 💖
Professor would be like the small, adorable filling in their sandwich!"
"Erm."
"What even????"
"Pav, no."
"But what about Steve?"
"Wait..."
And then they all ask, simultaneously, because her friends are all idiots.
"Who's Steve?"

Right, ok, let me be salty for a moment at Gege for making me believe that Sukuna is a heartless fiend that has absolutely zero care in the world.
He was so freaking excited to see Uraume, man! Did you hear him properly? Did you? I never expected his blasé ass to be so damn happy from literally the bottom of his heart about anyone and anything other than bloodshed!!!
And then he goes off to save Megumi because he has business for him. Like… can you please not be so all over the place, King? I know that you need Megumi for your agenda and that was the sole reason you performed RCT on him, but now I am curious why you wanted him. Is it because he’d make a good candidate for something? Because you only realised halfway into the battle that Makora was able to adjust to your CT. And pal, was I looking at a Sukuna that truly loved the fact that someone (something) was able to see his technique. See him. I’m 100% sure he’d drag the battle a bit more just for kicks if it didn’t have an immediate effect on Megumi’s life. And that was actually terribly honest of him, saying that if Megumi had indeed summoned Makora back in the detention centre then he’d really have bid farewell to this world. Hahaha I sure love him, for that aspect of his character. He’s not afraid to admit his opponents worth or his worthlessness (caused explicitly by his meat-suit) so far for that matter… 😎
Ah, but you see… I am very, very , very curious as to how he’d react in case Uraume gets killed. Bonus points if Gege has the balls to do it in front of his eyes. 😈
And Megumi. Megumi saying sorry to Yuuji because he was going to sacrifice himself to perform the ritual… 🫠 Why are you like this, child? I love the little details that come up in his character. And the fact that Megumi and Nanami share the same MBTI type is just… pfff~ the cherry on top, ok? Because why did I ever made Nanami in one of my WIPs say the same thing? Why? Why are we so predictable, Gege?! 😩
Also, now that I think about it, what did Sukuna do with Haruta? 😗 He said that it was a good thing he saved him, but I got the sense he was referring to his CT. Could it be that Sukuna hacked his technique, too? Like he did with Jogo? Hmmm… didn’t seem like he did in that very moment but maybe at some point? 🧐 And on that note, I’m also contemplating the way he spoke that incantation during his battle with Jogo. I always thought that the box was a means of censoring but in the anime he really mouthed ‘hako’ aka box. Well, considering how accurately an anime can replicate the way something is pronounced that is… after that, the kanji for ‘fuuga’ is the kanji that means ‘to open’, but is also used in other meanings as well like ‘starting’ etc. However, and you can totally call me stupid or paranoid, the first thing that I remembered the minute I heard it was the name of Maya from Saint Beasts. ‘Fuuga no Maya’ had the power to manipulate and control ghosts, which considering how interconnected and vague almost all of those meanings are, could potentially also mean that Sukuna commands the ‘spirit’, or like I had mentioned in a previous post the subconscious that is ‘jujutsu energy’ to open up to him. Well, this is a stretch, but somehow it feels very possible?
By the way, Yuuji’s eyes burning red when he changed back made me think that he’d go full berserk mode but baby boy seems to have had so much rage in him that he just snapped and decided that that’s it; he needs to die and take Sukuna along in Hell. He must definitely believe he can’t handle this beast any longer. Because those black-hole orbs just weren’t Yuuji’s eyes anymore ok?! He’s gone crazy right now. He’s checked out and that is the one thing Gojo tried to tell him he should not do! Jujutsu sorcerers need to keep levelheaded, Todo said the same thing, in order to be able to summon their full strength when they’re fighting. Please, Gege don’t make my kid lose himself any more than this. Don’t drop on him all Hell, all at once! Give him a moment to breathe. Let him meet up with someone that will calm him down enough to realise that he should not waste his energy without a care.
Megumi despite all odds is safely at Shoko’s hands…
Nobara as far as we know is ok…
Nanami should fucking go back and receive treatment because I don’t know what that man is trying to do by going down there in this state… I mean, you know there are special grades in the station, love! You know you can’t really compete with them if you already faced such an awful ‘defeat’ by one that didn’t even stick around to finish you off. Where are you going?! Why are you going? But you’re going because you care, huh? Because you want to make sure everyone is alright. To protect them…. Because one way or another, you believe that the only one who can save everyone is Gojo and you need to help him out because you are the one qualified enough that’s left to help. Stupid! Have you never realised that Gojo trust you to be the first after him?! That he considers you second only to him?! Have you only ever looked at him through those stupid glasses, idiot? He trusted you his students! His biggest secret when he needed someone to take care of Yuuji — the resurrected vessel of Sukuna — the boy that every single higher up wanted dead by all means. He believed you to be his ally. His little minion! He trusted you with the future of the jujutsu world, even if you considered him just a self-centred and indifferent individual, he still wouldn’t want the world he loved and thrived into to be destroyed! He trusted you… because you were you! Why are you acting like you have a fucking death wish?! Why are you doing that?! Don’t you care how much disappointment you’ll feed him? Or maybe that’s your revenge, for being the kouhai that gets teased all the time… Tsk tsk tsk. You got too caught up in your sense of duty, Nanami and that’s not going to end well(yes, I know. It’s been splattered on my feed for a year now…). I hate you. Actually, I hate that you’re so… proper on your everything. Be a little more disobedient, damn it! Why are you a little sarcastic prick only with Gojo but never to anyone else? I bet if he’d told you to “go down to that platform”, you’d first come up with a snarky comment and then go because he’d force you to… Jeez~ 😑

pushing on the large wooden doors of my punishment, i stepped further into the library. god i’ve still got so much to do with so little time. winter break is quickly approaching and i cannot do the normal term of detentions that we would usually get for being late.
“oh hello, y/n” i snapped my head up at the sudden greeting. oh, it’s just kazuha. i lightly smiled towards him.
he looks quite pretty in this lighting, well he looks pretty in all lighting.
“hey kazuha, how’s your assignment coming along?” i ask, recalling his previous complaints about the difficulty of his work.
“ah, it only seems to be getting harder and harder to complete” he looks quite upset, i really do hope it begins to become easier for him.
i begin to dust the closest shelves to me as we continue our conversation. “well, i’d be happy to help you at any point, kazuha” i send him a quick smile before turning back to the dirty shelves.
i miss the light blush that graces his pale complexion.
he hums lightly “thank you, y/n i really appreciate that” i hear his footsteps retreat back towards his seat.
i need to focus on my cleaning again.
11:53pm
finally, i run my feather-duster across the last shelf in the last bookcase in this corner of the library. that took so long, im exhausted.
“you need to finish cleaning by the end of the term right?” his voice rings through the library.
has he been waiting to speak to me?
“hm? oh yeah i do why?” i turn to face him.
oh god, he looks exhausted.
“well” he stands up and begins walking closer to me “as you know, i need to finish my assignment by the end of the term”
he’s getting so much closer to me.
“and i was wondering, if perhaps”
he’s infront of me now
“you would help me complete my assignment”
he’s leaning his arm on the bookcase next to me
“and in return”
his eyes are so much more beautiful up close
“i’ll help you clean the rest of the library”

huh? oh god he’s waiting for me to answer.
i barely remember what he said exactly but, i think i got the gist of it. i help him with his assignment, he helps me clean the library. i suppose that would be helpful.
“yeah, that sounds fair kazuha!” thank god, this library might actually get cleaned now.
“but, i must ask, what made you consider offering?” i tilt my head towards him.
“i saw how exhausted you became during that, i figured you might appreciate the help. besides you had already been kind enough to offer to help me, i figured, you should get something in return too”
i smiled up at him, he’s so kind.

i am having a SPECTACULAR time with this game honestly im very surprised at how happy i am with the 2nd gen cast. like tbh i did actually kind of go into the second trilogy going "UGHGUHGUHGHG i dont CAREEEEEEEEEEEEEE i just want to see my FAVESSSSSSS" and incredibly pessimistic about how this entire thing would play out. but no im having an incredible time i love the dynamics here and it all actually feels like. like a natural progression of phoenix's arc (forging evidence moment and insanely off-brand diction of aa4 aside). my only real complaint here is whoever is writing this thing is allergic to letting trucy do anything which breaks my heart because like. my vision here is like.
you are generic ace attorney character number 287394. the most insanely convoluted murder plan on planet earth has happened right next to you, and, having been caught entirely in the crossfire, have just been arrested. youre like "ok. ok this is fine this is fine this is fine" and call up ace attorney phoenix wright, notable for uncovering worlds most insanely convoluted murder plans on a routine basis. he shows up at the detention center and trailing behind him are three vaguely lost ducklings (apollo, trucy, athena) who spend the entire time being incredibly annoying at each other and also you. you find out they are the ones who are going to be dealing with your case instead of mr wright. you despair. 3 days later in the middle of court one of them accuses some random witness the prosecution dragged out of the absolute gutters of having concocted this entire insane thing. they end up being right. you walk free, equal parts both impressed and terrified by the incredibly annoying vaguely lost duckling trio. the end
anyways as always im VERY excited for the end case since those are always. well. Something to behold. but WE'RE GETTING TO IT (SOON) !!!!!!!!!!! so look forward to that 😎👍

Regulus AU update: Sirius has married for love, Regulus has married a friend he made in Romania when he was on the run. He knows she will be able to help him find horcruxes (plot reasons), and can keep her mouth shut.
They’re literally going undercover, polyjuice potion and all, and slip in and out of Grimmauld as they please. Meanwhile Sirius and his wife are under house arrest bc they made noise about Umbridge after Harry wrote to them about the “I must not tell lies” detention. Dumbledore intervenes and volunteers to locate them but keeps the location quiet, which fudge doesn’t like but the wizengamot is ok with. In order for the blood wards to work at Grimmauld properly, a Black is needed to reside in them as much as possible. As it’s HQ for the Order now, Sirius is the candidate.
This sets up the perfect storm for Regulus and Sirius bickering 😎. Their wives quickly realize they actually want to bicker, so they section them off and give them a few rooms and then go to the opposite side of the house 😂.
But at Xmas, Sirius’s wife is really missing her huge family. She’s always at Xmas with them and this is her first time without them. Reg’s wife decides that they’re going to have a Xmas nightcap, just the four of them, and actually coaches Regulus on what they’re going to do 😆. Afterwards, Sirius quips that Reg said his lines perfectly - but then sincerely thanks him. Both brothers actually enjoyed the time, and it made them feel like a family for a few moments.
It’s the marker of the first moment of peace and progress! (Sirius also thanks Regulus for “keeping Kreacher under control.” In this universe Kreacher is well behaved only bc he listens willingly to Regulus)
Wow! What a journey!
Love that their wives are just like "let them get it out of their system, we'll be on the other side of the house doing absolutely anything else." And the social skills coaching for Regulus!😅 Christmas family bonding, love to see it 😍
