Could a live-action Demon Slayer adaptation work? But technicalities on the visuals aside, I would be interested to see if and how the story can be revamped to fit the modern streaming model of like 8-10 hour long eps per season with more "serialized" elements like added recurring subplots and more interconnectivity between eps, which is what the Netflix One Piece show did.

Hmmm... if I were to think real hard about this one, this could get really long. It might involve introducing more side-characters earlier on, like Kaigaku and Genya on a mission together with Himejima somehow tangentially involved, or Gyokko discovering traces of the Swordsmith Village while desperately feeling the pressure to find blue spider lilies. How you split up the episodes would depend on how you split up the seasons,and how much weight you give to early villains. Maybe we'd see Kyogai interact with other Lower Moons before he is kicked out. Maybe while Tanjiro is training we follow the life of Giyuu a while and lose his chance of getting close to Muzan. Maybe we see more of Tamayo's experiments and efforts to deal with the Asakusa demon, maybe by providing helpful exposition while developing a relationship with the demon's overwhelmed wife. Maybe Hisa's Wisteria mansion is a recurring spot so gossip flourishes there about who else has come and gone. Maybe more framing devices with Ubuyashiki from the get-go. Basically, you'd need to be able to take the spotlight away from Tanjiro and instead show the whole world happening at the same time so that by the time Tanjiro is put on trial, you have seen the Hashira all come off of really bad nights and know that they are in no mood for this so that it's like an explosion waiting to happen. The scope would be "Corp vs Muzan/demons" as opposed to "Tanjiro & Co. vs demons." It would gave to be blanketed in foreshadowing as opposed to following the usual Kimetsu Logic model of introducing crucial information only when it is crucial.

At the center of it all, the key would probably be Nezuko--hints that her existence is the key to unlocking the stalemate everyone has been in, and to illustrate why Urokodaki and Giyuu place so much hope for things changing in her, and by extension, Tanjiro's involvement because of her.
