Woah sorry for like the months long hiatus, lowkey. I have been like soul crushingly depressed lately and really overwhelmed, but honestly? I’ve been working a lot on myself and I’m getting back to how I was before. I think I’m ready to come back here if you’ll let me, LMAO. I feel bad for just falling off the face of the earth. As Mariah Carey is defrosting I’d like to make a lil post about those who may not be feeling so merry this holiday season. Please keep in mind that December can be far from “the happiest time of the year” for some people. The holidays are very anxiety inducing for many. For people with sensory issues all the bright shiny things and christmas music everywhere can be overstimulating. For those who can no longer talk to their family this time of year can be very hard. Especially for those who lost loved ones around the holiday or those with few/no friends. For those with seasonal depression the holidays can be rough. Immunocompromised and disabled people may not be able to travel to family or have their family visit them. Some people may just not have the spoons or don’t wish to celebrate this year or at all. That’s ok. I’m not asking you skip out on your holiday celebrations! Just please be mindful of those who may not be feeling very joyful this season. 

For anyone who is growing, changing, finding themselves again, entering a new chapter of their lives, starting again, feeling lost, or trying to reconnect with their younger selves.
