Now that I’m developing his character, Dead Eye needed a fancy portrait to show off his powers (and snarl) a bit! I’m kinda annoyed that I didn’t pay too much attention when framing this since I worked on that bg for about an hour and you can’t tell X) I also switched up the colors after finishing this since I wasn’t happy with the results…new version is up on my Patreon, along with the full-sized version of this one too!

Is "Vigil" the new Jason Todd hero identity after the events of "The Man Who Stopped Laughing"? Looks like Jason's Red Hood era is finally over as this new comic (maybe) shows the victory of Jason Todd over his past (by probably not killing the Joker after all). Since Red Hood is a Joker related identity, it makes sense to transform into something new to get over all these years of drama.

The point is, we don't have any information about Jason Todd in the official description, and the only character that didn't get his own (exclusive) variant cover is Vigil, but in reality, it's about Jason Todd. This became obvious when we can seeJason Todd using the "Vigil" symbol on his back.

Btw I loved Dead Eye design! Extremely edgy! Also, I'm in love with the Red Canary variant!

Silly theory based doodle compilation because they're piling up

Chimera eventually leaves (see: escapes) Corrigan’s Mutilators and seeks refuge with Sage’s Enforcers, who aren’t as cultish and willing to help her with laying low from both the Mutilators and Jade’s Hall.

One of the Enforcers, Aaron Benson AKA Dead Eye, is able to get to know Chimera better since they both share the experience of being Jade’s Hall detainees against their will, experimented on during Bradley Jade’s tenure. They never ran into each other while there, but they have a common hatred for JH and the pain it caused them in their teenage years, so naturally, they’re more than happy to team up and go after JH people when Sage has those types of assignments. Chimera never killed while with the Mutilators (not wanting to give Corrigan that satisfaction of corrupting her, and believing that she could still escape that life), but does so with the Enforcers when Sage gives her and Dead Eye a high-paying job to assassinate some JH scientists who flew under the radar when Bradley and his associates were imprisoned.
