Honestly as mcu characters I could see him as Deadpool or Star Lord, but he would also slay Reed Richards and Cyclops 👍 in my opinion

when i made that post my mind was in a place of creating new characters instead of recasting the old ones tbh but i did not make that clear and it very deeply shows

lemme just-

stiles stilinski is a distant cousin of tony stark and he annoys literally every single one of the avengers including natasha but natasha would sometimes find him funny and would not let people speak badly of him because she likes the way he stumbles over his words in front of her and he tells her facts about spiders

stuart twombly attended midtown high a few years before peter parker and has seen some of the weirdest shit going on in new york. got really mad when he heard there was a stark internship that he couldn’t find anything about to apply for and when it came out that peter was spiderman he felt a lot better. he vaguely knew the kid from a robotics class and send him one (1) single text to say that he hoped he was okay after it all came out and then forgot to reply when peter responded.

thomas was doing his student residency at the hospital doctor strange worked at and witnessed a lot of weird shit when steven just showed up and then kept his mouth shut and steven knows this and they both just ignore that it happened and pretend they don’t know one another anymore.

dave hodgman got snapped out of existence and when he came back cassie was in his class and they’re dating, scott loves him and told him he was antman within two weeks. dave was very spooked out but now thinks it’s really cool.

mitch rapp is a CIA transfer and sometimes SHIELD reaches out to help with bigger threats and sometimes they sent littler simple things over to mitch to deal with so he’s met a lot of the avengers and literally couldn’t care less. probably went on a date with sharon carter at some point before deciding she’s tasteless and kinda intense in a spooky way and not calling her after the date.

sam taylor hates the avengers with a burning passion because they do so much destruction but he also loves that they get to do so much repair work. he hates that he keeps getting shouted at by the government for taking ‘souvenirs’ but he loves getting paid, so.

joel dawson stumbles his way into every bad situation every single time it’s like a GIFT he tries to hard to avoid them and always ends up in the wrong place at the wrong time and steve rogers now knows his name with a ‘really, joel? you didn’t hear the explosions around you?’ ‘I had my headphones on.’

The Mission To Bring Lydia To Camp Half-Blood Because Her Demanding Poodle/Rottweiler/Hellhound Insists On It a.k.a Theo's First Quest part 1 of 2 [part 2 here]

"Theo,"

Stiles's voice makes the few people still puttering in cabin five turn to the source of the call. It's not surprising that Theo's siblings' initial reactions are eyebrows shotting to their hairlines, pinched faces, and warning growls at Stiles's unexpected - and rather unwelcome - presence in their territory.

The scornful behavior doesn't discourage Stiles from lifting his chin and stepping further inside. After all, Stiles has always displayed impeccable guts. It's one of the things that attracts him to Theo. And even with aggressive denials, Theo knows his cabin respects this quality from the children of Athena. Of course, it angers and provokes them first, but that's a given. After three weeks in the camp, Theo can confirm that the lot from cabin six can come as intimidating even without trying.

A loud crunching noise disturbs the quiet tension in the cabin just as Stiles takes another step. The Athena boy pauses and looks down to find his feet partially inside a bag of flaming hot Doritos, open at the center of the package like a bowl. He quickly hops off it, looking appalled. "Why do you put food on the floor?"

One of Theo's siblings sighs in annoyance as he picks up the tragedy that is his snack. He glares at Stiles, "I was doing push-ups when you came in - one chip per downward stroke. Do you know whose ass I had to kiss to get this?"

"I'd rather not," Stiles deadpans, bobbing his head soberly, then turns to Theo. With pursed lips, he announces. "I wish to talk to Theo, please."

A moment of silence follows the statement. Stiles remains in his pose, although Theo has noticed the clenching of his fists and tick of his jaw - the only indications that he is also as uncomfortable as everyone else in the room.

Finally, Fred steps away from a bunk post, crossing his arms. "I hope that wasn't a request for us to exit our own cabin, Stiles."

Stiles slides his brown eyes to him, looking slightly desperate.

Fred's head drops with a resigned sigh, "All right," the councilor lets his arms fall. He picks up a helmet and turns to Theo's siblings. "Cabin five except Theo, to the training grounds."

Grudgingly, Theo's siblings trickle out of the cabin, glowering at Stiles and muttering under their breaths. When Theo's sibling, the one who lost his chips to Stiles's foot, passes him, he sneers before going out. "You're replacing my food, smart mouth." Stiles only scowls back before giving an acknowledging nod to Fred behind him, along with an awkward murmured "Thanks."

When everyone has left, Theo walks around the large wooden table meant for war plans (but the Ares cabin utilizes as monopoly area) that is separating the two demigods, and leans his lower body against it, crossing his arms and ankles, "So," he begins, lips tugging on one side. "You accepted my invitation to come here after all, and now you got me alone in my cabin." He splayed his arms open to gesture around them. "Whatever shall we do with all the available bunk beds, son of Athena?"

Theo's grin broadens when heat quickly rises up Stiles's face, turning his pale color into a pretty deep red. Theo observes in amusement as Stiles's facial muscles contract. After a brief pause, Stiles narrows his eyes, grinding his teeth. "That's not why I'm here."

Stiles takes out a sheathed knife from the holster around his hips, and Theo shifts in alarm, picturing the accuracy of Stiles's aim. But Stiles only moves forward calmy, unsheathing the hunting knife and extending his hand to offer the weapon to Theo. Dubiously, Theo accepts and looks down to examine it.

Straightaway, Theo notices its lightness, and when he closes his fingers around its handle, he feels a low hum of power concentrating at the point of contact - a small vibration that feels as if the object is communicating with him. Theo brings it closer to run a finger to its shiny bronze blade, double-edged with slight curves and a threatening sharp tip. Unclenching his fingers, he transfers his attention to the silver handle where the engravings are a figure of an owl and the goddess Athena's name in Greek. Theo looks up to Stiles, "This bears marks of Athena."

Stiles nods. "Yes, and quite literally." Stiles unconsciously moves closer to Theo to trace the etchings on the handle. The nearness immediately steals Theo's scrutiny from the object in his hand to Stiles's face. His eyes drop to the boy's lips when Stiles starts explaining. "There is an actual Silver Drachma bound in the handle. My mother used to give these coins to her children, her chosen warriors, before the Second Giant War. As for the blade, it's celestial bronze - it easily disperses a monster's physical form back to Tartarus, but it can't hurt a mortal." Stiles looks up, and Theo meets his brown eyes. This close, he can actually see the little gray specks around the ring of Stiles's eyes - a trait that most children of Athena shares. It's fascinating. "My mother gave it to me as a present for my first quest."

Theo doesn't look away from him, "And you're giving it to me?"

"I'm lending it to you," Stiles corrects. "For your first quest."

They spend a few seconds just staring at each other before Stiles remembers himself and averts his eyes, taking a few steps back and clearing his throat.

Theo straightens, wetting his lips to point out the obvious. "This is a weapon for the children of Athena, though. What use is this to me?"

Stiles nods, rubbing his pink cheeks, choosing to lock his vision on the knife. "It is, first and foremost, a possession of Athena. But it's forged to manifest its power to any demigod who has telekinetic control over any weapon." When his statement meets dead silence, Stiles looks up to find Theo frowning in confusion. He rolls his eyes, "It means it blesses any child of War. Athena, Ares, Minerva, Mars, Bellona."

Slowly, Theo nods, considering it explains why he can feel the weapon's power under his skin. He looks down to the knife again in contemplative silence. Theo recognizes that the gesture is kind, but the timing of Stiles volunteering to come with Theo in his first quest and even lending him a weapon is suspiciously right after the boy knowing about the reason for Theo's wrath on the cyclops half-brother of the Hales.

"This is why I hesitated to tell you about the cyclops," Theo tells him, raising his head. "I don't want your pity."

A hard expression crosses Stiles's face, "This is not pity, Theo." Stiles replies. "This is an apology. For Capture the Flag, for the week of hostility following that, for all that I've said to you."

Theo shrugs casually, "I get it. You only want to protect the cyclops."

"I do," Stiles nods earnestly. "But I'm still sorry."

After another period of wordless communication where Stiles tries to convey his sincerity through an intense look, Theo laughs, dissipating the charged atmosphere. "You never thought you'd say that to a child of Ares, did you?"

Stiles scoffs, his stance relaxing. "Don't get used to it."

Theo grins, closing their distance again with a couple of steps. "So?"

Stiles's eyes shortly flicker down to Theo's lips, swallowing when he says. "So, I'll meet you in Half-Blood Hill with the hellhound in three hours - sunset, when it's safe for shadow-travel. Then, we save a demigod."

Theo's lips twitch playfully, "Are you sure you don't want to stay?"

Stiles's response is to hit him square in the chest with the knife's sheath before marching out of the cabin with a teasing edge to his smile.

Enzo walked into the room and stopped in his tracks “Deucalion?”

Ennis looked over at him “Deucalion…Enzo please not today” Ethan and Aiden shook their heads “No no let them go, this should be interesting” Deucalion stood up and opened his arms

“No hug before we try to kill each other?” He asked cocking his head to the side and Enzo scoffed “I don’t do hugs thank you very much”

“Kill each other?” Talia asked with a worried look on her face for the teenager

“Not actually kill each other, it’s just a very old joke those two have that I still don’t understand” Kali said nodding her head to Enzo and Deucalion who already had bruises on their faces “Enzo met Deucalion a few years back and we met him last year so we don’t know how long Deucalion has been beating the shit out of the child”

Deucalion and Enzo jumped off of each other when Ethan said “Ok Batman vs Superman, you can stop now…oh shit that actually worked”

Enzo and Deucalion said at the same time “More like Iron man vs Captain America but whatever and anyway I’m iron man and he’s Captain America” The two stopped and looked at each other “Bitch! I’m iron man and you’re Captain America…Listen! I’m iron man and you are Captain America”

“What’s wrong with being Captain America?” Stiles asked

“Those two favorite character is Iron man” Ennis said shaking his head at the two of them acting like middle school boys

“Fuck it! I’m black panther and you are Hawkeye” Enzo said and he added another part when he saw Deucalion about to object “And that’s final!”

Deucalion looked confused “Did you really make me Hawkeye because I used to be blind?!”

Cora who has walked in while they were arguing looked over at Ennis “Used to be blind?”

“Long story short, Enzo has freaky super healing powers”

“Yeah ya know because he’s deaf and you used to be blind? Eh eh” Enzo said with a cheeky smile on his face before he was punched in the chest “Ow!”

“My hand slipped and anyway if we are going based off the comics then I’m cyclops!” Deucalion said

“You know what I’ll give you that one”

Peter walked back in the room with a beer “Can we get back to the meeting please? Y’all can do your dick measuring contest later”

Okay, so first off, Happy Birthday to your cat! I hope he got lots of his favorite treats. Glad to hear that today went as well as can be hoped for you. And overall today wasn’t too bad here. We got several big truck deliveries, but when I deal with those I tend to deal less with customers, so it sort of balances itself out. We’ve been told that we’ll be closing early all week because of the protests, so that’s been ramping the anxiety, but the internet has provided a number of pleasant distractions on my breaks.

Secondly, I would pick Noah for the one that has the second set of twins, for mainly two random reasons; 1) because last time it went Chris, then Noah, so it feels like it should do the same this time, and Chris already had Ben, 2) because it keeps the number of kids per family more balanced- 4 & 3 rather than 2 & 5. Idk, my brain just gets weird about symmetry and balance in things and I’ve never figured out if it’s an ADD related thing or just a me thing. Also, the idea of him trying to do his job while pregnant, with Chris and ESPECIALLY Peter trying to be super protective at the same time is just amusing to me.

And actually, thinking about that and the preview for the next chapter made me think of a couple things that didn’t make it into my reviews. When/how/from whom did Chris learn about the fire? Did Gerard or Kate tell him in a gloating sort of way and kind of tip him off that something was hinky about it, or was it through other hunter contacts, so the thought of outside involvement came later?

Was he still pregnant with Ben, or was it later on? Did he contact anyone in Beacon Hills about it for further info at any point before he showed back up in town? Because I was trying to think about some of the things that could turn up later for angst (why I was doing that to myself is anyone’s guess, but here we are…) and it occurred to me that if Noah was going to have any lingering upset over Chris leaving it would most likely (to me) be from the time right after the fire.

He’s just lost Claudia, and went off the rails from it, but at least he had Peter, and Laura, and the other Hales. Now Peter is in a coma, Laura’s left town, and the rest of his adopted/found family is dead. He has no idea where Chris is, or if he’s safe from whoever did this (does he know about what happened between Chris and Peter before Chris left again?, and he’s dealing a set of even more heavily traumatized twins right now. I feel like even the most understanding person is gonna have some stuff to work through there. (Also, Jesus, poor Melissa [possibly for multiple reasons])

Uhhh…sorry to send things into a drama tailspin there for a moment. Allow me to try and brighten things back up with the original impetus for me to make this a submission and not an ask; because you mentioned X-Men Halloween costumes and I have Thoughts. *takes super deep breath* Because omg, yes, so very many options.

Side note - I would be so happy if someone dressed as Nightcrawler. He is my precious fuzzy elfin bb, and I love him to bits and get so tired of him getting left out of things (looking at you Funko.) I feel like Stiles or Peter have the best attitude match (maybe, MAYBE Jackson), but don’t know if anyone would want to deal with the amount of makeup involved. But, anyway, just, the possibilities.

Stiles telling Malia she can’t just take the easy way out by going as Wolfsbane, so she takes one of her old white A New Hope Leia dresses and cuts it down into an old school Mystique costume.

Peter pulling rank and telling Derek he’s the Alpha so he gets to be Wolverine (this even works better height-wise [I didn’t realize you didn’t know their approximate heights. I’d looked them up before for…reasons. Having seen them standing next to each other repeatedly, I’m pretty sure any actual height advantage Ian has comes strictly from his hair], although when Stiles points this out he earns himself a hell of a glare.)

Naturally that means Chris has to be Cyclops, because, well, calm and serious. Noah realizes this means they expect him to be Jean Grey. (N: “Why can’t I ever be a character that wears normal pants?!” C: “Well I have to be the boring one all the time” P: “I mean, you are the closest to a telepath of the three of us. Don’t you want us mock fighting over you?” N: “…if we do this I get my pick of the Phoenix costumes.”)

Stiles and Noah trying to fight over getting to be Gambit so they can do exploding playing cards, but getting told they can’t be Gambit unless they can do the accent correctly (Gambit isn’t Gambit if he’s not Cajun, that’s just how it is, I don’t make the rules.) While part of me thinks it’d be funny to see Jackson as Nightcrawler because of the tail thing, I think Stiles would be more entertaining.

He’d make little smoke bomb things to fake the sulfur and brimstone effect of his teleporting. All the family members with enhanced senses would HATE him because they STANK something fierce, and it LINGERED. But anytime one of them tried to tackle him to get them away, he’d yell “BAMF!” throw on to the floor and run like hell.

Jackson would be Iceman so he could make it a crossover costume with the character from Top Gun so he could wear aviators and a leather bomber with his outfit. Allison could dress like Shadowcat from the early Excalibur run, and she could see if Ben would dress up as Lockheed with her (because that would be adorable).

Derek would decide that if he can’t be Wolverine and glare angrily at people the whole time, he’ll be Colossus so he can just stare with silent disappointment the whole time. Scott would decide he wants to be Cable (because “…he just looks so cool…”), so Melissa and Chris would dig through their old hunter gear to help him make his costume.

Melissa could be Jubilee, and rig up little flash bangs to fake the plasma bursts (unlike Noah she has absolutely no qualms about proving that she can still rock a pair of short shorts.) Lydia would either be Rogue to show off that SHE at least can manage a believable accent, or Emma Frost for the looks that costume would gain her from Allison.

Alternatively; both sets of twins argue over who gets to be Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, so they decide that one pair will do the classic comic version, and one will do either the Evolution cartoon version or the MCU version (though they are allowed to switch out the Quicksilver for the other film version if they choose).

Lydia claims Mystique instead (it’s tempting to make her Banshee, but that seems a bit TOO on the nose), or maybe one of the other Phoenix looks (when I say Phoenix looks I mean Jean’s Phoenix or Dark Phoenix suit from the comics, because I LOVE that outfit), and Ben dresses as Beast (because that would also be adorable). *finally stops to take another breath* …umm…so anyway, yeah, as a perennial X-men fan I think it’s safe to say I love this idea, and am so grateful for you putting it in my head… …sorry about the wall of text, I may have got a little carried away… …again…

I loved every single sentence of this wall of text, so never apologize. (Although I did break it up a little before posting because that makes it easier to read for other people.

I think all of my ideas for the middle of this fic where either based on questions you, or @artemisa97 asked me in reviews. So honestly, keep them coming if you want to ask them. They help me determine where the problem areas are, what kind of kinks I need to work out, so honestly, even the sad ones are a great help.

And yeah, I hadn’t looked up their heights yet, I just assumed Peter and Chris were a bit bigger than Noah, but I was delightfully wrong!

I do have one more gem to share, a height comparison of some of the boys and to show you just how tiny Ben is compared to the others.

Blue - Noah (182 cm / 6 ft)

Purple - Chris (177 cm / 5′10)

Red - Peter (178 cm / 5′10)

Yellow - Derek (183 cm / 6 ft)

Green - Ben (111 cm / 3′8)

Turquoise - Jackson (170 cm / 5′7)

Ben’s height is about average for someone between the age of 5 & 6, Jackson’s height is a little on the short side, but I’d imagine that he’d still grow a little until he’s like 20 and end up being around 175/176 cm.

I’d imagine Stiles to be a little taller around 172 cm, Allison is a little shorter at 165 cm and Malia is around 168 cm. (They will all still grow a bit, averaging between 173 (Allison) and 178 (Stiles) )

And the one thing I will say about whether or not Noah gets the twins, without getting too spoilery, or maybe it is, I’m sorry if it is but I can’t help not share.

Is that eventually both Noah and Chris have the same amount of kids from Peter. And one of them has twins. I’m still debating on names, in the deleted scene I named them Mikhail and Adeline, I currently have different names picked out.

And I think the balance thing is ADD related, because I had the same issue with planning the story XD. So yeah, Peter gets to have a lot of kids, and adopt a lot more into the pack, because Season 2 is kinda canon in this universe, in the sense that Isaac, Erica, and Boyd are still turned. Kira comes along, and of course Lydia. Considering what I have planned for Danny and Mack, I might add them to the pack as well.

And omg I LIVE for those X-men costume ideas <3 Omg. I love it. Considering Stiles’ abilities he would definitely be Nightcrawler and would probably use a quick spell or two to get the makeup in place. (A druid invented this fantastic spell to always get eyeliner on fucking point and shared it in their spellbook. Spoiler alert; said druid was Noah in his teenage punk years. Turns out, it works for other makeup too.)

And I’m in fucking love with all of these ideas actually, I can’t really say which I like more.
