Im going crazy either way its fine. Anyways imagine having MEGAN in a Sagau fanfic lmao, (if you havent watched the movie yet , i 97% recommend!)

I feel like the ones that would accept MEGAN whole heartedly and would love her /p is the childrens or the teens,, if that makes sense😭 ! (Klee, Diona, Qiqi, Sayu, YaoYao, Dori, Xiangling, Noelle, Collei, Fischl, Bennet and more)

Since MEGAN has that fighting skills noelle would probably ask MEGAN for some advice so she can be apart of the KOF (as usual) ! and MEGAN would use her "robotic skills" and just give out noelle the whole description on how to fight and stuff it probs took like 3-6hours for MEGAN to finish bc noelle wants to know alot😭

It would be more cooler if like MEGAN plays genshin or like knows all the lore and characters (the power she holds☠️)

Whenever you sneak out, go on a meeting, went out to buy some stuff , went to travel you bet your ass MEGAN will be beside u 24/7 even if the mobs dont attack you MEGAN would still be on gaurd to make sure nothing harms you

MEGAN would play some songs back in your world if you feel stressed out by the work and responsibilities

MEGAN would make a deal with the fatui or the abyss to secretly spy on you where ever or whenever you go (its not like you will leave without her🫣!!!)

MEGAN gives me that platonic yandere vibes so if you ever have "secret admirers" , MEGAN would scan that letter properly and find your admirers house and "talk" to them nicely to stop bothering you

MEGAN would have that resting bitch face on 24/7 but whenever you talk to her she would look so bubbly and nice, but whenever your not around shes so close on choking the people that has been "eyeing" you whenever you breathe, theyre lucky that you told MEGAN to not harm anyone

MEGAN wouldnt give a damn fck about visions, like she would think its useless but the fatui would give her a delusion either way😭👆🏻 (you requested it)

MEGAN doesnt mind threatening off a few "side characters" so you two would survive

MEGAN would send death threats to the "creator//the real imposter" and she would have it in like some of the archon's handwriting without signing (bc in the movie she managed to make a masterpiece of a drawing like zamn😭)

MEGAN would give out fake informations and will say its from the "creator//the real imposter" so they would believe it but it will take like a 1-2 year from them to realized that someone has been spreading fake informations

MEGAN would sneak in the academy and do some chaos in any technology plans they have just to make distractions and give you time to get like items you both might need

If the fatuis know your the real creator and take you both in, MEGAN would only help out the fatuis by giving out personal informations of other characters that they call themselves "devoted worshippers"

MEGAN would probably be great friends with Sandrone & scaramouche

MEGAN would be "friendly friendly" with dottore just to get more technology uses😭

MEGAN has thoughts on just beating the shit out of childe (and probably dottore) but she choose not because she doesnt have time to play around with "childe-rens" and has to be by your side 24/7

but If the abyss finds you both first

ofc they would take you both in and MEGAN would also share some tips or advice to defeat those vision users

The abyss sibling would ask your permission to take MEGAN with them from time to time to set out their plan on destorying teyvet and the people who wronged you

and if traveler shares what he saw when he saw his sibiling to like,, someone they would probably go like "yo wait isnt that the kid with the imposter?!"

If people in teyvat finally get to their senses that the "creator" in the throne is the real imposter

they would hunt you and MEGAN down (again) but with "good intentions"

Hello!! The last ask got me thinking about a different kind of dream. What do u think the mercs wanted to be when they grew up when they were kids?

Scout: there's no surprise here, he always wanted to be a professional baseball player. things just didn't work out in school for him and he was desperate for money

Soldier: he's the only one who sorta got his wish. he wanted to go into the army like his father, but was denied after he failed several tests. mercenary work is close enough, but not quite as respected if the townsfolk are any indication

Pyro: they never really had a dream job. they were always happy with whatever it is they were doing at the time. that is, until they and a couple others on the team went to go see Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. it was that very moment they discovered their dream job

Demoman: he wanted to do so many different things. growing up, he was constantly changing his dream career. one week he'd wanna run an oddities museum, the next he wanted to be a treasure hunter. the issue was he was always pushed towards "real" jobs, not those "fantasy kid dreams that'll never make real money"

Heavy: he wanted to be an amateur author on the side, but mostly wanted to get into professional boxing. it was unfortunate timing that the events of his past happened, and by the time his family escaped the gulag he was more focused on protecting them than following his dreams

Engineer: he grew up wanting to take over the family farm. he sees the Conagher intelligence as both a blessing and a curse, really. it caused him to be guided towards his engineering career he currently has, working for Mann Co. like every Conagher man before him had. all he wanted was a simple farm life

Sniper: he was actually pushed more towards taking over the sheep farm from his parents but instead found himself in his current career. it wasn't what he dreamed of doing either. he wanted to be a zookeeper, which was frowned upon thanks to Saxton. he always had a love for animals and dreamed of what it'd be like to dedicate his days to taking care of so many different and exotic kinds of them

thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

girl im filipino wdyt HAHA

serious answer: absolutely. just make sure your target audience will be able to comprehend ur meaning. do this by either making a translation easily accessible without extra steps, or by making a translation obsolete by clarifying the meaning within the text!

or if you're writing, say, maria clara at ibarra fic, just write in taglish bc ur readers are almost all gonna be filipinos anyways LOL

First few are variations of Brodie's helmet, if it was a TF2 cosmetic and someone wanted to paint it various things. Plus a halloween version that's a UFO hat with tiny aliens controlling him :3

Next is him with his jacket off, and then him holding Jay like that Neon White poster, sorry Brodie sometimes u just can't figure out if someone's a Spy!! (ignore the reactor and scout kissing lol)

Then them in the comics- what happens is after Mann Co gets taken over they flee to NYC with whatever they can grab and the clothes on their back- and the clothes just so happen to be Spy's suits, which they stole. They kill a rich wall street banker named Paulrick Baleman who is not a reference to anyone at all and while he's choking to death on mustard gas Jay talks about funds but because Brodie is Brodie they now own his bank accounts and penthouse and stay :3 at least until Pauling grabs em

brodie grabs ur morning coffee and drinks it so fruitily wyd :3

and then Brodie and Brady (BLU Courier). It was my first time drawing Brady so I wanted to try getting it right :3

kaeya lore thought because i have a hyper fixation and i have to tell someone

ok so the whole prophetic ‘kaeya hasn’t made a clean break w his past and has to make a big decision’ is most likely about khaenri’ah vs monstadt/teyvat, assuming that’s true, here’s my hypothesis for what he’ll choose

originally i thought it could be 50/50, or a case where he picks khaenri’ah but then switches teams and sacrifices himself for monstadt (probably saves his brother? would be rlly sad and hoyoverse like making us sad, would also b very cyclical + somewhat redeeming for the dumb decisions he’s made) however, since the new diluc lore i think he’ll pick monstadt, it might still be a bait and switch or he might even spy on khaenri’ah (again cos it’s super cyclical + would represent his acceptance of his past, and his choice to stop running from it, but also still the autonomy and freedom from the secret that’s been hanging over him his whole life) and then reveal he’s actually on monstadt’s side, but i’m 75% sure he’ll pick teyvat because in one of the letters it says that when diluc is away kaeya sometimes comes to stay at the winery and when he does he stays in his childhood bedroom (yeah ok maybe i nearly cried at this)

why do i think this means he’ll pick teyvat? it’s because it shows he still cares about his family and finds (some kind of) comfort in being in his childhood home, whether that’s bittersweet for him or if it’s a case of healing and learning either way it clearly shows he cares about his childhood in a positive way, also the fact he stays when diluc isn’t there (even tho he probably knows diluc wouldn’t turn him away even if he wanted to) shows he cares about their (sibling) relationship (don’t make it weird thank u) and diluc’s feelings, and he’s realised that he’s made shortsighted decisions and messed up before by not thinking about diluc’s feelings and he cares enough to change his behaviour because of it because ultimately they’re still brothers (and they should just fucking talk about the shit they both went thru + properly reconcile, but no they’re both repressed and won’t)

so i just finished watching spy x family & i wanted to give my first impressions!

first of all, let me just say that this anime was one of the most wholesome shows i've seen. so many cute moments that had my heart jumping out my chest

now let's get on to my thoughts on a few of the characters...

ャ agent twilight/loid forger

• what an absolute dilf

• yor is crazy for not tonguing him down the minute she got a chance to, because if it were me.... BABYYYYY

• but on another note, for someone who doesn't/didn't aspire to have a family, he sure does make a damn good father/husband

• the way he tries his best to encourage anya & reassure yor, & how he corrects his parenting mistakes with anya >>>>>

• love a man that can actually acknowledge his mistakes & actively tries to correct them

• the man we truly all deserve, even if he's just pretending (he's still being sincere lol)

• obviously is getting attached to anya & yor, will eventually have to find a balance between being a spy & maintaining his "family", or will have to choose one or the other

• needs to learn how to say no, those side missions have him so exhausted

• really hope he doesn't end up hurting anya & yor (especially anya since she's grown to love him so much) once his mission is over

anyways guys hold on had a breakthru in barneys gordon centric conflict,

so like before now, his co flicr has been a sorta vague "gordon is so different and traumatized and im struggling to readjust to having this new gordon compared to the idealized mental image i made of him" that would eventually develop to "oh he is so traumatized and closed off i need to balance vetween my own mental health and trhing to help him" thats made more difficuly for barney becuz hes developed a lil bit of a short temper but made easier becuz hes learned the ins and outs of how to ingeneral treat others who are so outwardly traumatized by way of everyone bei g sum kind of fucked up

and like thats fine thats cool, a nice development but its kinda flat, and it doesnt allow for a strong enough inner co flict on barneys behalf and also kinda centralized gordon too much to him for someone whos been without gordon for 20 years and also gets in the aay of having other charas have their moment to shine and to help gordon, cuz this whole thought lrocess spawned from writing a kleiner pov fic about kleiner reaching ojtto help gordon almost immediately followkng the showerfic and im writing it and wondering "hey why the fuck isnt barney the one to do this if he isnt that opposed to getting close to gordon again since he gets to gordon first in the timeline?" so the answrr obvs is that:

nova is not the warrior of light and i don’t even really have a wol au for her. if anything i’d just say that my other oc, omen, is the main wol of her canon.

she is part voidsent thanks to alejandro, a centuries old voidsent.

some lore on alejandro: he was a hero of his time, a paladin, who fell in battle against voidsent. honestly probably very similar to a certain character when it comes to his distribution of aether.

back to nova, she was nurtured by alejandro, who had a penchant for drinking the blood of his mortal victims rather than simply siphoning their aether. vampiric in every sense of the word.

nova lived in othard for a period of time and became a kunoichi. briefly knew lord kaien due to meeting him as a young man in the establishment she worked at. she later met yugiri & hien and joined the doman resistance.

had a crisis about being a voidsent & masquerading as a good person. when yugiri went to eorzea, nova would spy on yotsuyu & eventually got caught.

nova & yotsuyu gay.

nova was devastated by yotsuyu’s death but it solved her morality crisis and she began working with the warrior of light & co. at that point

she is a shard of artemis! and very much loves to hunt. i hc that she and zenos would have a very passionate, near intimate platonic relationship with how they view their prey. wlw x mlm solidarity u can’t convince me otherwise. EDIT: as I think on this I do think maybe I should make her ancient self be achilles just to add some ominous foreshadowing but who knows (:

she can use reaper - like abilities due to being partially voidsent. she isn’t a reaper because she has no avatar, but any enshroud abilities, she can do.

as of 6.2 she is enamoured with someone special as she feels the two of them are similar and wants to help her *feel*

TW DRAMA AND ME ACTING ON MY EMOTIONS CAUSE OF THIS POST

Granted I did post this after sending her an apology and I’m glad I now have official confirmation that she has seen said apology. The very fact that I have sent an apology means that I had got over the situation and just didn’t care about it anymore. I also tagged @toomanyfamdom because we thought it was ✨funny✨ and have gotten over the situation (unlike some).

It should also be noted that I haven’t had any contact with Maddy since everything that happened and at least had the decency to send an apology and move on. Also, for the record, I had nothing to do with that list of toxicity. That list was put together and shown to me by my friends. I then continued to FORWARD THE SAME MESSAGE to Maddy because I disagreed with the list.

Let’s see, shall we? Up first on the list of hell that I had nothing to do with (and disagree with) there is... “inconsiderate of time zones and peoples family life.” This eventually turned out to be accurate, not just for me but for many others. Madison would organise events like DnD games at UNGODLY hours in the morning (because she is in American time zones) and when us British people were unable to turn up she would kick them from the game and then proceed to shame their character for an hour. Granted her uncle did pass (im very sorry for your loss), but that had nothing to do with anything. Many of us (including myself) helped Maddy and were there for her, and I have plenty of messages to prove it.

ANOTHER thing to do with time is when I was added to one of the greatest Instagram group chats in the world! However, my sleep was abruptly ruined when Maddy group-called the chat at 4am because she wanted to play Minecraft with a friend. Please direct call next time... thanks.

Whilst on the subject of time family life, one of the most memorable things this girl did was shame me and attack me on one of the discord servers we were both on. What made this even worse was that I had an audition for a London West End theatre school which had the power to change my LIFE. And Maddy knew this and also knew that it was worrying me and that I was extremely stressed about it. You may say ‘oh, it's just a coincidence’. If you believe that please explain why said post tagged everyone and was posted 5 mins before my audition. Maddy knew this would stress me out, I spoke about the audition and my ability to read into things many times before and she knew this would get to me! A lot of the things Maddy did were petty shit, but then again, that’s who she is.

Next up is... “shows blatant favouritism.” Well, it’s no surprise Maddy has so many friends! But which ones does she actually care about? My friends and I witness this first hand on many occasions, one of which being another DnD game where she was the dungeon master. Maddy made the turn order by (and I quote’, “the order is in who I love the most.” This caused some of us to feel a little uncomfortable, but we continued until Maddy put each character on a path to different destinations and explained which each path was. By the time it got to me, my dyspraxia/dyslexia couldn't hold the information, and I asked Maddy to explain them all again. Maddy agreed and but then ended with, “You just used up you go, Charley.” I was so confused! Apparently, explanations waste a turn??? But this was fine by me until Maddy explained the destinations to another player, but this time, she let them choose where they wanted to go instead of keeping them on the bench, awaiting their turn. Maddy would also allow people to have longer goes/round claiming that there was more to their story. My turn would be around 2mins where someone else would be 5. Again, petty shit which still happens to make people upset.

Note: It was not just me who felt this way! Many others slid into my dms because they felt upset with how Maddy treated others but not themselves.

Up next is, “making your best friend feel like shit for making a joke”. Another reminder, this list wasn’t written by me, it was written by my friend who was watching from the outside. And this is very true. I would often make jokes with people about Donald Trump and America because their laws and president (not anymore) were stupid. This always seemed to annoy Maddy and hurt her feelings. I would often make a throwaway comment but end up feeling bad about it because Maddy would leave the call. I always felt like I was walking on thin ice with her because if I said something even remotely controversial, she would not speak to me and leave the call. This really hurt me because I cared about my friends a heck of a lot and never wanted to ruin any relationships with them. I would send countless messages to Maddy, apologising and crying to her, telling her not to be mad at me. THAT 👏🏻 IS 👏🏻 A 👏🏻 TOXIC 👏🏻 RELATIONSHIP 👏🏻 One joke shouldn’t be the be-all and end-all of a friendship,, but that is what It always felt like! Also, Maddy never specified it was a trigger until recently, and even after she did say it was a trigger, I held back so she could feel comfortable.

The final thing is: “made you feel bad for your emotions.” Madison needs to learn that EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT and that people deal with things in different ways. Not everyone is smart, sensitive or skinny like she is. Whenever anyone hurt my friends, I would lash out and act upon my emotions because I didn’t know what else to do. This is something Maddy heavily criticised me for and something that eventually resulted in me listening to high-frequency sounds so I could get rid of my emotions and feel numb. My logic was that I didn’t want to hurt anyone ever again by jumping the gun and acting upon emotion. But thanks to others, I was pulled out of that loop, and I’ve learnt to use logic and reason as well as emotion.

As for “breaking my heart”. Yes. Our friendship ending did hurt me, a lot. Just like everything with you, it is very one-sided. I was reaching out, listening and trying to help Maddy repair relationships with people whom she’d hurt. We both said equally bad things which made the ‘relationship’ toxic, and I would just like to point out that the name, ‘evil Maddy’ is cringe and I’m ashamed I was ever friends with you considering you used that in a callout post. /hj

Look, I’m not going to call you out or use Politics_notmything to cancel you because I’m not like that. I’m an actual good person who really tried with Maddy and dis my best to change myself to make her feel comfortable. I left a group chat with all my friends for a week and blamed it on ‘family issues’ because I didn’t want to make her feel uncomfortable. I made an entire Birthday PowerPoint for her, which included some of my best and favourite bootlegs. I made a genuine effort, but Maddy didn't really do anything else but tell me to “calm down” or “not throw everything away and give in to anger or despair and calm down until you can think rationally and make a logical decision”.

And I’m glad I actually saw this because this is a classic Maddy move. She argues with people, builds up a situation then removes/blocks them, so they cant see everything she’s saying about them (i have proof of this from a server im in.) It has happened before, and she manipulated people into believing her side of the story.

“I am allowed to block people who lie to me about serious topics even though they have trust issues which makes them unable, to tell the truth, if it hurts them. I am allowed to talk to people who blow up on me before hearing my side of things where they would have realised what they thought is wrong even though I dont get back to people until 3am and decide to leave them on delivered/read for days at a time when I am happily talking in other servers. I am allowed to block people who accuse me of shit-talking them with my friends who I introduced them to (and I never do that) when I have only defended them and said friends genuinely were being nice to them even if they have proof. I am allowed to block people. Period.” - Maddy

And I’m not saying Maddy isn't allowed to block people. It’s a free world. Im just defending myself :)

Granted, Maddy did defend me and say that this situation shouldn’t change anyone opinions on me, and I can say the same. Just because I had a terrible experience with Maddy, doesn’t mean she is a bad person and I encourage anyone online who loves women’s’ history and WATT to befriend her.

But being honest, she did also call me a bitch on a Tumblr callout post, so I had to come and write this all down for safekeeping and reblogging purposes. Im not a bitch, and that is why I’m not using my following to cancel her. But anyway, we both had some shit experiences with each other so you can read this and make up your own mind even though I did back her up with the previous call-out post, sent her my support, apologised and didn’t block her when she was at a bad time in her life or when she needed help. One night he caught a glimpse of you holding your bump, glowing, and he knew he'd made a huge mistake. Napoleon admitted this that night and promised to try and fix what he'd done. He seemed sincere, and for the baby's sake, you allowed him to be part of the pregnancy, as co-parents. But as you progressed through your pregnancy, Napoleon glued to your side, you realized how serious he was about this and the two of you gave it another shot. Your pregnancy softened him up and his smooth demeanor changed real fast when you were around. Napoleon often stole a ticket and snuck you into fancy parties just so he could show you and your bump off. He didn't care that he didn't know anyone at the parties; he just wanted to show you off. It was his way of handling the growing pride he had for this unborn child. This would be a spoiled baby, with the best fashion no doubt. He read all of the pregnancy books, which just made him worry more. He constantly scrambled to do everything for you. Simply because the book said you shouldn't be reaching things on the top shelf at 30 weeks. Napoleon forced you on bed rest the last two weeks of your pregnancy. He was even determined to put the baby's room together, crib and all, instead of just hiring someone to do it. Napoleon wanted the full dad experience. He also read to your bump every night and jumped with excitement every time the baby kicked. In the beginning, he made mistakes, but everyone does, and he spent every day making it up to you and your unborn child.

Illya Kuryakin:

When you told Illya you were pregnant he was terrified. He refused to abandon you, but he was very distant in the beginning. Illya hardly touched you or your bump. He was just so afraid with his strength and temper he'd hurt the two of you in some way. Eventually, after much convincing on your part, Illya did start to relax a little bit. Whenever he was around you he was impossibly gentle. He always controlled his temper. Illya got teary-eyed at the first ultrasound he went to, but claims there was dust in his eye. No matter how angry he was Illya wouldn't raise his voice, even slightly, if you were near. He constantly asked if you were comfortable and bought about a million security systems. He'd do anything for you, even run for fast food at 3 am. If you ever got tired of walking or your feet hurt, Illya would just pick you up and carry you. Even pregnant you weren't too heavy for him. Surprisingly, Illya was a good cook before, but throughout your pregnancy, he learned a bunch of recipes that'd make the baby "a strong Russian boy." The two of you did have arguments about gender sometimes. Your mood swings confused him, and he was scared of them. You once told him to talk to the baby. He scoffed, mumbling something about babies can't hear. Later that night though, when he thought you were asleep, you could hear him whispering to your bump. Normally, he'd whisper things to the baby in Russian. He was just so nervous to be a dad. Illya was so protective. He baby-proofed the whole house a week after he found out you were pregnant. Illya would be a cautious father at first, but you were confident he'd be a natural. You also had faith that he'd always protect you and your growing family from any harm.

Gaby Teller:

When you told Gaby you were pregnant she was nervous, of course, but mostly excited. During the pregnancy, Gaby talked to your bump a lot, convinced that the baby would hear her in the womb. She also sang to the baby. You never had to ask for anything because before you could Gaby already knew what you needed. She never missed an ultrasound, and her normally calm persona faded into a total helicopter parent. Her favorite thing to do while you were pregnant was going shopping for the baby. Of course, she always got carried away. Gaby told every person she met that she was going to be a mother and how incredible you were. She gave you any type of massage you wanted because she felt so bad you were uncomfortable. Unlike the boys, Gaby didn't leave your side for a single second. She was almost by your side too much. Before your pregnancy, you and Gaby loved spending time together but also time apart. However, the second you told her you were pregnant "time apart" no longer existed. If Gaby wasn't right beside you then she knew exactly where you were, at all times. You understood her work was dangerous and she was just keeping you safe, but she was driving you crazy. So eventually she agreed to give you a few hours to yourself a day. You were pretty sure she was still spying on you during your "alone time," but you never brought it up. At the end of the day, the obsessive worry all came from a place of love.

he has a rabbit plush from his childhood that he sleeps with every night and hides during the day. it’s been resewn over and over and is very dingy and dirty. he has no idea who it’s from but it’s always been very special to him

Scout has his own comic series he draws on stowed away in his room. he’s kept hidden because he’s embarrassed about it. it’s a typical superhero comic with a self insert of himself as the main character

he copies things his teammates do, mostly Spy. it’s always small things like how they stand or walk or if one of them starts acting all confident then he will too. he doesn’t realize he does it, but he does because he looks up to all of them

he’s self conscious about his buck teeth but any time someone refers to them as cute or adorable, he gets all flustered and giddy over it

Scout is VERY praise driven, he thrives on having approval of everyone he looks up to. if anyone on the team needs something done, he’s almost always the first to volunteer himself and loathes when they ask he take someone with him

he’s bi and doesn’t realize it, he just thinks it’s normal for guys to find other guys really hot and daydream about them and doodle them in his comics later. he always has a justification for why that time he saw Soldier shirtless right after a shower made him all flustered

he was in both his high schools track and baseball team as the star player. track was more a hobby to him so he could keep limber for his baseball games and when he’d go off and cause trouble with his brothers

Scout’s been arrested once before joining Mann Co. but doesn’t realize his brothers have actually kept him from getting in trouble with the law many more times. they would always try to shove him out of the way and have him run home when they could tell cops were about to get involved because they knew if he got arrested, Ma would be very upset

he was arrested for taking part in robbing a gas station, and was young enough to be let off without any trouble

Scout’s name on his birth certificate is spelled with the accents (Jérémy) but everyone, even Ma, always spells it without. he doesn’t even really know there are accents in his name

he’s semi-fluent in Italian

he looks up to Spy a lot. he sees him as the father figure he never had and genuinely admires everything he does. out of everyone on the team, he copies him the most, down to even sneakily buying himself a butterfly knife to teach himself how to flip it around like Spy does. they pick on each other a lot and bicker even more, but they’re both just as quick to find little ways to say they’re sorry after things have calmed down

he considers everyone on the team his best friend, but he hangs around Pyro and Sniper mostly. Pyro because they enjoy a lot of the same things he does when it comes to TV or comics or whatnot. and Sniper because he’s a good listener and will allow him to just trail behind him all afternoon and talk his ear off. and because after he came out of his shell, Sniper turned out to be just as much a troublemaker he was

also @aedan-mills i found out that some of the wand stuff is related to their birthdays and i am much too lazy to look all that up and figure it all out, but anyone else is welcome to lmao. sorry to disappoint but alas it's summer and i don't want to research that much. but other than that, please listen to me flex my extensive knowledge on harry potter :)

neil (half blood): i'm sorry,,,, can you say gryffindor? this boy would get up there and in a second the sorting hat would have him all figured out: big dreams with the will to pursue them, but not ambitious enough to step over others to achieve said dreams? sounds like a gryffindor to me. i just know he'd thrive at hogwarts, probably going on to play quidditch (def a chaser) and would excel in charms class. as far as pets go, i feel like he'd stay simple and classy with a chill barn owl he'd name after a famous broadway actor. he would kind of be a mix of james and remus, in which he's wild and crazy but still manages to get good grades. the teachers love him simply because they don't know much about him outside of class. he would absolutely LOVE going to hogsmeade and going batshit crazy at zonko's and honeydukes. he'd have a whole phase where he gets addicted to licorice wands and everyone else thinks they're disgusting but he simply cannot buy enough of them. he'd play a bunch of zonko tricks on the rest of the poets, saving the most harsh for charlie and the most wholesome for todd <3

todd (muggle born): ugh see i can see him being both a hufflepuff and a ravenclaw, but my heart says hufflepuff so i'm gonna go with that. he would absolutely HATE the sorting ceremony with a burning passion. getting up in front of everybody only to have a hat judge u??? no thanks. HAHAHA CAN YOU IMAGINE HIM ON A BROOM. i can't either because he would simply never get on one, probably referring to them as "flying death traps" more often than not. "hey todd, you think about joining quidditch?" "no thanks, i'd rather keep my limbs intact ;)". but he would love muggle studies a lot, even if the teacher was boring as hell. snape would scare the hell out of him for sure, resulting in his lowest class being potions. he would excel in classes that are more learning out of the book rather than in practice. for a pet, he'd want something that could not possibly turn on him and would just be sweet and loving, so ima give him a toad :) he'd name it something fancy and british, like nigel or sumn. and because of nigel, he'd love chocolate frogs because hey they're twins!!

fanon knox (pure blood): hogwarts fuck boy. okay well maybe not f boy but like...his favorite part is the fact that this is a co-ed school rather than an all-boys school so he can spy on both genders equally yknow. hmm i get hufflepuff vibes from him because he's a big romantic, sucker for cute relationships, etc. he would enjoy whichever class his current crush is in, although I feel like he'd do well with classes that involved spells and wand work mostly lmao. he'd want a really fucking cute pet, so i'd give him a kneazle (it's like a cat but a bit more lion like). he'd give it a strong sounding name, something german idk. but he'd love the shit out of that kneazle, i can tell you that much. i feel like he'd try out for quidditch his first few years, not make it on, and then make it on to the team around fourth year and somehow end up team captain in seventh (and that proves kids, that you too can have a redemption arc in sports). as far as candy goes, ima say he likes the super sour candy like acid pops n shit. like i feel like the others would dare him to each as much sour candy as he can and then he wouldn't be able to taste for a week. but he'd think it was worth it :)

cameron (muggle born): good god this boy just wants to learn. magic just fascinates him, what with growing up in a big muggle family (bestie he is the weasleys if they were all type a). he's a ravenclaw, no questions asked. he would love classes involving preciseness and attention, things like potions and transfiguration. i feel like he'd have a cute, stable relationship along the way ofc because he deserves so much love and happiness and UGH he's a baby. he'd stick with a lil ginger cat, naming it after one of the famous wizards he's read about. he would love spending christmas at the school and going places when the ground are nearly empty, enjoying the scenery. for candy, he'd go plain and simple with chocolate frogs. can't go wrong with those. he'd still have fun with his friends, but he'd skip a lot of parties for some studying (don't judge, i do it too lmao). would not play quidditch but would enjoy it, end of story.

charlie (pure blood): slytherin. don't dispute it. think the weasley twins but even more flirtatious. he would be a regular at every single party that happened, flirting with the guys and gals shamelessly and drinking butterbeer like it was water. look me in the eye and tell me he would not absolutely fucking HATE GILDEROY LOCKHART WITH EVER FIBER OF HIS BEING. he'd do spot-on impersonations of him though. teacher's worst enemy. like when he walks into class on the first day, every teacher collectively mutters "bloody hell not this kid again". asks the most incredibly stupid questions ("okay but is there a spell to turn my eyebrows green? just the eyebrows though, not my hair"). he would be the most aggressive beater on the slytherin team, though he would never deliberately try to hit someone, just distract the shit out of them ("put the fear of god in them and fate will do the rest"). he'd want a loud, aggressive pet but he'd probably end up with a mean cat that hisses at everyone. he'd give it the most adorable name that just. does not fit the personality. something like priscilla. for candy, he'd take his chance with bertie botts' every flavour beans and just roll with the punches. he's chaotic like that.

pitts (half blood): ASTRONOMY IS HIS JAM. he fucking loves that class. he tutors the entire ravenclaw house in that class. he's the guy that little first years who are terrified of the class go to when they're completely lost and don't understand what's going on. besides that, i feel like he'd just be everyone's cool older brother yknow? like he'd be in charge of helping all the first years figure out where stuff is and giving them advice to help them and stuff. he would be a die-hard quidditch fan although he would not play the sport (maybe recreationally on the weekends and holidays and stuff, but the fact that it's so fucking dangerous just does not appeal to him). he'd like the candy that does tricks and stuff, like fizzing whizbees and stuff. he gives me charlie weasley vibes, where he's hardcore in certain areas (in his case, astronomy) and just flipping chill in anything else. cool older brother vibes, man. it fits.

meeks (half blood): i've said it once and i'll say it again: nonproblematic ginger dumbledore. also a hufflepuff <3 this dude just wants to fucking coast along, getting good grades and not participating in the dumb shit that could probably get him killed (even though he would in a heartbeat if his friends were in danger. duh). he'd be a teacher's favorite, probably having conversations with his favorite teachers during free time. okay ik this isn't technically at school, but i swear to god he would be dumbledore one day. like he would be the chill ass headmaster who gets shit done while also being very la di da life is nice flowers are pretty type of person. that being said, his favorite candy is and has been lemon drops ever since dumbledore got him addicted to them. his favorite classes would be potions (he'd surprisingly get along well with snape) and he'd just be great and mixing shit right and just knowing how much of stuff to add in ("how much powdered root do i add?" "about three and a half shakes." "that's not a measurement, meeks." "*shrug* it works"). he'd stick with his small friend group and love them to death, but he'd be a friend to all really. he'll help anyone that comes to him asking for help with homework (and though he won't admit it, he gets super prideful when it's someone a few years ahead of him).

stick (muggle born): harry potter if harry potter could've been more harry potter. like he would just be a part of everything and end up being part of some prophecy that demands he'd save the world and at first he'd be like HEY i'm just a small boy but then he'd grit his teeth and finesse the shit out of this preventing the end of days stuff. he'd definitely be a gryffindor, and fucking proud of it. he'd be the seeker on the quidditch team because he is so short and small and yeah he'd fucking kill it there. he'd kind of be the shy one no one expected much from, but once he starts absolutely wrecking the shit out of the other houses' quidditch teams, he'd become sorta popular? like people would invite him to parties and stuff and he's too nice to say no, but he'd mostly just hang around the outskirts, saying hi to the other poets if he saw them and mostly talking to chris and ginny (danburry, not weasley). he'd like defense against the dark arts and minerva mcgongiall would become his literal mother i can't explain it. he'd have an owl as a pet and treat it like it was his own child, telling it thank you every time it brought his mail or took his mail. as for candy, he'd like drooble's bubble gum because the bubbles are all magic and shit and i just feel like that would make him so happy <3

chris (pure blood): the older sister lesbian <3 she'd be a sweet hufflepuff who would be friends with everyone while also being the greatest socialite the school has ever seen. you know that party that practically the entire school attended and talked about for months on end? she planned that shit. she'd be like pitts in the respect that she'd help all the first years find their way in the school and in life in general. she's just such a warm and kind person that everyone would love her. she's have a little pink pygmy puff to match ginny's purple one, and she'd give it such a perfect, human name like lila or something. she'd be great at muggle studies and all the teachers would love her. also every one is so invested in her relationship with ginny it's adorable. he favorite candy is acid pops even though they make her eyes water like crazy. she'd make pretty good grades, every once in a while getting one slightly lower than she'd expected, but she always manages to bring them up to her satisfactory level :) she would not play quidditch, but she would go all out to support ginny, even though they're in different houses. that's what i call love, baby.

ginny (half blood): the mom lesbian <3 she's a ravenclaw and also one of the sweetest people in the whole school. while chris helps other with the social aspect, ginny will help anyone in any subject they need help with (she and meeks are a help duo on this). she's quieter and less social than chris, but she's one of the best chasers the ravenclaw quidditch team has ever seen. she'd end up team captain by fifth of sixth year. she'd be like oliver wood in that she is sO invested in the team's success that at sometimes she'll go a bit crazy, but chris is always there to help her put things back into perspective <3. she'd make stellar grades of course, being good friends with all of her teachers. her favorite candy would be the sweetest things like fairy floss. as previously stated, she'd have a purple pygmy puff to match chris's pink one, and she'd also give it an adorable human name like lisa or something. ginny's just sweet to everyone, especially neil and his friends.

What's your take on the fandom drama with people claiming that Hawks is an abuse apologist? Seems quite whack if u ask me.

Here are my preliminary thoughts:

1. Chill the fuck out.

Here are my additional thoughts:

MILD SPOILERS UNDER THE CUT

1. Ideal and reality are most often different. Endeavor was an abuser to his family. Endeavor was a real hero to Hawks who made a difference to his life. These things co-existed. You don’t need to have All Might’s perfection to make a difference in someone’s life. Damaged people can still save (yay, that should be good news for everyone rooting for villains). And everything that plushie represented to Hawks - the hope, the comfort, an ideal to work towards was real and tangible and therefore inherently valuable.

2. Hawks fits neatly into the Todoroki family with his background, with trying to break away from prisons of first his birth circumstances, then the cage the Hero Commission put him in. Just like Shouto and Touya, he struggles with a lack of self beyond being someone’s tool (Why do you even exist? What a horrible, heart breaking question to ask from a child?) On the road to become a hero, they took every piece of his identity, even his name - and his empty house shows how he lacks real attachments.

3. Hawks undercover mission led him to form an unlikely friendship with a person whose main struggle was also his identity - because of his quirk. He first viewed Twice as unlucky, the type of tragic life he was born into. So he tried to “save” him, like little Keigo was saved. But Twice refused it, because despite the confused mind his quirk condemned him to, he had a solid identity that remained the same across his clones: he was driven by the desire to be trusted, to be useful to his friends to his dying breath. The type of attachment Hawks never experienced, it seems.

4. By the way, Twice’s friends are murderers and terrorists - who have caused real pain to other people, broken other homes through loss and grief no doubt - but their brokenness doesn’t take away from the pureness of this desire of wanting to help others. It doesn’t matter if they are broken people, their bonds are genuine and intrinsically valuable. They support each other’s ideals and dreams. (Unlike the Hero Commission that first gave Hawks an identity of a hero then took it away from him, forcing him into the role of a spy where he never had a chance to be authentic and to save and viewed his own values as dispensable).

5. Hawks finds inspiration in watching Twice going all out for his friends. It’s something solid and real. It may remind him of his own original childhood dream of helping others like he was helped. Those real bonds make even a tragic life full of meaning.

6. So what does Hawks do with all this? Now that he is free to form attachments, because his cage is finally broken? Now that he’s has to fuse his two identities, Takami Keigo (son of the murderer Thief Takami) and Hawks (the pro-hero)? It’s an opportunity for him to show his true colors... (oh, the sweet, sweet Todoroki family parallels)

7. So what if it is revealed that the toy he held so close, that seems to be his most real attachment was broken all along? You all are mad that with all this knowledge and experience, he doesn’t say I’m going to trash this broken plushie that helped me through a very rough childhood, that gave me a direction to work towards, because now I’m rich and I can afford to drop 30-bucks to get the real thing?

8. We still have no idea what Hawks plans to do next. Remember that his plan of saving Twice was to both hold him accountable and to support him in putting his life on a better track. Recognition that crimes and sins must be paid for, but the goodness in someone deserves a second chance.

9. There are haunting parallels between Shouto and Hawks throughout the chapter. But the last bit? When Hawks decides to support Endeavor? He was reading a letter from his mother, who let him down and sold him out. AGAIN. And remembers the hopeful look on Shouto’s face when they ran into each other at the internships. Hawks’ own parents never gave a crap about him, never wanted to change. But he senses that it’s not the same in the Todoroki-family. Because he’s been watching Endeavor, he’s been watching Shouto. So maybe... maybe... as an abused child himself, he can put himself into the shoes of someone else and think that maybe they can have something Hawks himself wished he had. Parents who care enough to try to become better. Maybe he believes that’s something worthy of support.

10. Hawks is reflective, he sees his own hypocrisy that Twice called him out for. His cage kept him from being authentic. But he wants to use his freedom to return to his origin. To the kid born to villains, who became a hero against all odds. He wants to honor his ideals that told him to meddle, to help, to stay honest even when it’s hard.

TL; DR: What can I say? Justice and compassion. Identity. Change. Self-determination. Fixing broken bonds. Ideal vs Reality. Forgiveness vs accountability. This is what the entire Todoroki family plot is about... It’s all heavy stuff that fills up entire books of ethics, philosophy, psychology and religion. There are no black-and-white easy answers.

End: the culprit tries to psychologically fuck with everyone, but Athena stays strong, maybe uses some noise cancelling headphones, and corners the SHIT out of them

Franziska is skeptical of the Accomplice’s guilt, but she lets the verdict go because your client is innocent.

Athena cries to Phoenix about how she feels like she fricked up b/c she empathizes with the accomplice but also everyone, Phoenix does his best dad comfort—this is the truth that’s allowed in the confines of their court system.

Open w/ calling Trucy, whos in the states. She mentions that Klavier casually got a Japanifornian defense attorney badge. Cue exasperation/fondness/incredulity (I promise this is relevant)

In Khura’in

Starts small- like a robbery, which leads to an attempt on Thalassa’s life. Again

Athena gets to therapy her

Then someone high-profile actually fucking dies

Athena (co-council Apollo) vs FINAL BOSS FRANZISKA

Lots of investigating with them

Talk about space center and grief

The twist: a person with low emotional output is framed, but they are innocent because LOWER EMOTIONAL REACTIONS DOESN’T MAKE YOU FUCKING EVIL

The other twist: Bring in 7-2 framed person for a character witness, show that they’re innocent. Athena is panicking because of Fear(?) so Apollo is determined to Do Something, and points out how this only happened because the system is Stupid and calls Klavier and Trucy

BECAUSE:

At the same time, there’s a stateside investigation. some botched, continued interreference at the Space Station

Klavier can pull an Edgeworth and investigate with Trucy

Klavier talks about Apollo a lot, Trucy calls him out on it

Nahyuta is prosecuting this case

Depending on the relations between Klavier and Nahyuta established in 7-4, this will be hilarious or disastrous

Protective Yuty route: makes scathing comments about petty parts of Klavier- a petty-off

Teasing Yuty route: brings it up whenever Klavier talks about Apollo. Rlly funny banter. Klavier showing more human emotions sprites!!

Revisit the Space Center and get emo. Simon is here, arguing with Nahyuta

Because the cases go to trial simultaneously, the comment about the wrong conviction in 7-2 can be brought to the Japanifornian courts by Klavier and Trucy

They argue that Athena was forced to do that to spare an innocent and press HARD for legal reform

They call in Chief Prosecutor Edgeworth for reforms??

They also start a twitter war (that can be investigation minigame) and get public opinion up abt it
