A fun hoodie idea that I am trying to make! I'm excited to be going to the Beetlejuice musical in May, so I wanted to make a goodie for the occasion ☺️ Wips for how far I am. First up is the original pattern bought from Etsy. Second is my changes for sizing/lengths.

Worldbuilding questions to get the creative juices flowing 1
Your worldbuilding does not require laborious nitpicking or intense detailing. Make your worldbuilding to fit your story, and even more importantly you. Sometimes though you want to go all out, or add more flair. Other times the worldbuilding is simply for the fun of worldbuilding.
Here are some questions to get the creative juices flowing: Clothes
-What materials make up the clothes? How do these materials effect the look of clothes?
-What do they wear to combat or match their local climate? Waterproof attachment for lots of rain, warm fluffy fur for cold winters
-Does the culture’s color symbolism effect the usual color scheme of clothes? What symbols are usually worn? Are symbols legal to wear at all?
-Are there religious clothes, or accessories? Did religious wear meld into casualwear?
-What kind of workwear is seen about?
-What is the difference between casual and formal?
-How have economic classes changed fashion? What clothing materials are more expensive?
-Are there gender norms for clothing? Is the world just falling out of clothing based gender norms?
-How has trade and availability affected clothing? What popular foreign material comes from where?

Let's be honest, what did Chiron really think? "Okay, so we secured the whole camp with magical borders, the demigods won't use phones bc they attract monsters, so we did everything we can so that they don't stand out. And oh yeah, I had another great idea. Let's make the shirts bright orange!"

smh how dare he not listen to you >:0 so rude.
If you are referring to the bottle who didn’t take my advice, I wouldn’t say it was RUDE, more so just… annoying. He agreed to hearing some recommendations and didn’t even take ONE. I’ve been a fashion enthusiast for years, I’ve always been excited to share my tips, so when people don’t listen it just pisses me off. Regardless, I hope he’s happy with what he bought.
Besides, crescent moon labels are indie. Never seen anyone buy those before. Still ticked that it wasn’t what I suggested, but it was cool. Might look into buying one of those, actually. Could go well with a blue cap.

Sewing a Pinafore part 1
Style of pinafore- A V neck style top with a longer skirt. For fabric I just used a lavender bedsheet I’ve found thrifting. I thought it would be nice for the summer.
I didn’t have a pattern for the top of the shape I needed. First, I made my own pattern with tape from both of my shoulders and straight down to the end of my abdomen and pinned it to the fabric. It worked out well.
I used a back pattern from a McCall’s pattern (M7556).
I used a skirt pattern from Simplicity (3823). Same pattern piece for the front and the back of the skirt. This pattern piece was pretty large, and it gives the volume that I wanted.
From the same simplicity pattern, I used slip front and back pattern piece for the sides of the skirt. Again, adding the volume that I wanted.
Pockets! Cut on the fold.
