Don't get me wrong I'm a Jang Uk girlie from Day 1 but Dorian Havilliard will always be the blueprint for fictional men for me.

So when Jang Uk went from, "How can I protect the world when I could not even protect the one person I had sworn to keep safe?" to, "I do not care about what happens to this world. But if you ever touch her again, I will use my power as I please." I was unhinged.

Whats the best fic you've ever read?

Ooh ok wowow. I’ve read (and lost) some pretty phenomenal fics in my day, but two that come to mind immediately and that I come back to time after time are

Cabin Fever by @hearts-hunger

I swear Maddie has got to be SICK of seeing me in her mentions regarding this piece. HOWEVER. This fic checks every box for me when it comes to what I like/look for in a story. Maddie writes in a way that makes the characters feel so lived in and the way she writes character dynamics/relationships is stunning. Reading this fic (and everything else she’s written) feels like being wrapped in a warm blanket by the fire. Cannot recommend enough!

In all honesty, you could read any Alana fic and it’d probably qualify as a favorite of mine. I heavily considered putting Abaddon down too 🤪 (any Jake girlies reading MUST read Lazarus and Learn to Leave a Room. That’s an order). Alana world builds like no other; you’re transported so vividly into these worlds and the amount of detail and time she takes is incredible. She knows how to pull on your heartstrings and she DOES NOT HESITATE. Please read ANY of her works, you won’t regret it.
