The problem with Nikolai

If you think about it... Nikolai Lantsov (with that weird plot twist that he is behind the almost kidnapping), is indirectly responsible for both Alexei's and Marie's death on the show.

And for what? He wanted to kidnap Alina from the LP, from Os Alta to do what? She was already serving in the Second Army, indirectly working for the Lantsov monarchy. So what did Nikolai want with her?

Was it his plan to overthrow his father and brother with her? There is no other explanation for this, am I right?

And Alina never really questions that? She is like totally fine with the almost kidnapping, she never asks about Marie with whom she seemed to have a good relationship with. (pretty heartless?)

If I was Alina, I would have simply and immediately fallen in love with Nikolai the first second I saw him

good morning, just another day of being sick to the stomach that sab season 3 robbed Inej fucking Ghafa of everything she ever deserved including deserving to have her backstory, her past, her trauma seen and understood, the symbolism of having her tattoo scarred and horrifically healed from having it removed by a butcher, having it recognised with the "it's not easy for me either" line, deserving to look tante heleen in the eye and kill her herself, deserving to have Kaz gift her her own ship, deserving to be Captain Ghafa, deserving to have the incinerator scene in which she realises what she her life's purpose is - it makes me so SICK it is so twisted INEJ GHAFA DESERVED SO MUCH MORE THAN HAVING HER TRAUMA OVERLOOKED.
