Professor Sycamore x Reader (Part 2) - Vow Renewal
Prompt Given - write a sequel fanfiction to your previous response
Fic Generated -
Years had passed since the enchanting wedding of Professor Sycamore and Y/N. Their love had only grown stronger with time, and their lives were filled with new adventures and discoveries in the world of Pokémon. Lumiose City remained their home, a constant reminder of the vows they had exchanged on that unforgettable day.
Sycamore, still revered as a renowned Pokémon researcher, spent his days in his laboratory, studying and uncovering the mysteries of the Pokémon world. Y/N, with their endless curiosity and passion for knowledge, had become a beloved professor at Lumiose University, inspiring a new generation of trainers and researchers.
Their shared life was not without its challenges, of course. There were days when Sycamore would get lost in his work, his mind consumed by endless experiments and data analysis. And there were days when Y/N would find solace in the quiet corners of the library, seeking refuge from the chaos of the world.
But through it all, their love remained steadfast and unwavering, a guiding light in the midst of the storm. They supported each other's dreams and aspirations, providing comfort and encouragement during times of doubt.
One sunny morning, as Lumiose City basked in the golden light, Sycamore entered the bustling university campus, a spring in his step and a twinkle in his eyes. He had a secret plan, a surprise that he had been carefully crafting for months.
Y/N was in the middle of a lecture, passionately sharing their knowledge with a group of eager students. Sycamore slipped into the back of the lecture hall, a mischievous grin on his face as he waited for the perfect moment.
As Y/N concluded the lecture, the room erupted into applause. They beamed with pride, their heart swelling with the joy of imparting knowledge to their students. It was in that moment, as Y/N turned to leave the stage, that Sycamore stepped forward, a small velvet box in his hand.
The room fell silent as all eyes turned to the professor and the renowned Pokémon researcher. Y/N's eyes widened with surprise, a mix of anticipation and excitement washing over them.
Sycamore cleared his throat, his voice steady and filled with love. "Y/N, my partner in life and academia, you have enriched my world in ways I could never have imagined," he began, his gaze never wavering from theirs. "With every passing day, I am reminded of the depth of our connection, and how it has shaped us into the individuals we are today."
The air grew heavy with anticipation as Sycamore knelt down on one knee, the velvet box opening to reveal a delicate and intricately designed ring. "Y/N, will you do me the honor of renewing our vows and reaffirming our love in front of our closest friends and family?"
Tears glistened in Y/N's eyes, their heart overwhelmed with emotion. They nodded, unable to find the words, their love for Sycamore shining brighter than ever.
Months of preparation followed, as Lumiose City prepared to witness another extraordinary celebration of love. The anniversary vow renewal ceremony was held in the very garden where they had first exchanged their vows—the garden that had witnessed their journey, their growth, and their unyielding bond.
Underneath the flower-laden arch, surrounded by their loved ones, Sycamore and Y/N stood, their hands entwined once again. Their eyes met, a silent understanding passing between them—a reaffirmation of their commitment to each other and the life they had built together.
As they renewed their vows, their voices filled with the same love and passion that had resonated years ago. The words carried on the gentle breeze, intertwining
with the fragrant blooms and the whispers of the Pokémon that roamed the garden.
Once again, Lumiose City erupted in celebration. The night sky was adorned with fireworks, illuminating the darkness with bursts of color and light. The air was filled with laughter, music, and the joyous exclamations of friends and Pokémon.
Sycamore and Y/N danced beneath the starlit sky, their hearts overflowing with gratitude for the years they had shared and the endless possibilities that awaited them. They knew that their love would continue to evolve, just like the Pokémon they studied—a journey filled with surprises, challenges, and boundless joy.
Together, they embraced the future, hand in hand, ready to embark on a new chapter of their love story—one that would continue to inspire and touch the lives of those around them, forever entwined in the magical tapestry of Lumiose City.

So, as part of my language course, I had to give a speech in front of a bunch of teachers at my homophobic college, and me, being the rebel that I am, decided to do it on 'why aroace people deserve better representation'. The day arrived where I had to give it and I was so nervous because there were so many teachers and I was definitely not prepared. I said it and when I was done they were all silent. No questions, no claps, no nothing. Until the deputy head just said "see, they get it"
And that's how I found out that the deputy of a majorly homophobic college was, in fact, an aroace.

I asked chat GPT to tell me a werewolf story.
And this is the story it told...
In a small village nestled deep in the forest, there lived a pack of werewolves. They were known to the villagers, who feared and respected them. The werewolves were a peaceful lot, keeping to themselves and avoiding any unnecessary interactions with humans.
One night, a young man named Jack was wandering through the forest. He had heard stories of the werewolves but didn't believe in them. As he walked deeper into the forest, he heard a rustling in the bushes. Suddenly, a werewolf appeared before him, its eyes glowing in the darkness.
Jack froze in fear as the werewolf approached him. But to his surprise, the werewolf didn't attack him. Instead, it spoke to him in a deep, gruff voice.
"You are not from around here, are you?" the werewolf said.
Jack nodded, still trembling with fear.
"Listen carefully, human," the werewolf continued. "You have stumbled upon our territory, and we do not take kindly to intruders. But I sense something in you, something different. I will spare your life this time, but you must leave and never return."
Jack nodded again, and the werewolf disappeared into the forest. Jack ran back to the village, telling everyone of his encounter with the werewolf. But no one believed him.
Days passed, and Jack couldn't shake the memory of the werewolf from his mind. He decided to return to the forest to see if he could find the werewolf again.
As he walked through the forest, he heard the rustling of leaves behind him. He turned around and saw the werewolf approaching him once again.
"I warned you, human," the werewolf growled. "Why have you returned?"
"I...I don't know," Jack stammered. "I just had to see you again."
The werewolf looked at Jack with curiosity. "There is something about you that I cannot ignore," he said. "Come with me."
The werewolf led Jack to a clearing deep in the forest. There, he transformed back into a human, revealing himself to be a young man named Liam.
"Liam," Jack repeated in surprise.
"Yes, Liam," Liam said. "I am a werewolf, as you can see. But that is not all that I am. I am also a healer, and I sense something in you that needs healing."
Liam placed his hand on Jack's forehead, and Jack felt a surge of energy flow through him. He felt his fear and anxiety dissipate, replaced by a sense of calm and clarity.
"What did you do to me?" Jack asked, amazed.
"I healed you," Liam said. "But there is more work to be done. You have the potential to be a powerful ally to our kind. Will you join us?"
Jack didn't hesitate. He knew that he had found his true purpose in life. He nodded, and Liam smiled.
"Welcome to the pack, Jack," Liam said.
And with that, Jack became one of the werewolves, using his newfound powers to protect and heal both his kind and the humans of the village.
Genuinely terrifying, watching this thing generate. I didn't know what to expect, but it honestly wasn't this. Was half expecting it to go a little sexy at about the midway point, but it chickened out.
I give it a 3.5 out of 10.
The prose was a bit bland. I enjoyed the fact that the werewolf had a gruff voice and glowy eyes. Didn't like the whole healing magic angle... but you know what? You do you, Chat GPT.
As always, I enjoyed interacting with a non human entity, even if that entity is just a word prediction machine.
But... yeah...
If you want to read werewolf stuff written by a human, I have a book, and a game coming out veeerrrryy soon.
I don't chicken out.

okay so I just discovered that chat gpt can write fanfiction...and for science I had to try, this is what it came up with
Comfort and angst.
Neil and Todd had always been close, even since their days at Welton Academy. As they grew older and went off to separate colleges, they still kept in touch, texting and calling each other frequently. But lately, something had changed between them. Neil couldn't quite put his finger on it, but whenever he talked to Todd, he felt a strange mix of comfort and angst.
One night, as they were catching up over the phone, Neil finally mustered up the courage to ask Todd about it.
"Todd, I don't know how to say this, but...I feel like something's different between us. Have you felt it too?"
There was a long pause on the other end of the line before Todd finally spoke.
"I know what you mean, Neil. I've been feeling it too. It's like...I don't know, there's something we're both holding back."
Neil nodded, even though Todd couldn't see him. "Yeah, exactly. Like we're both afraid to say what's really on our minds."
Todd took a deep breath. "Okay, I'll start. Neil, I miss you. I know we talk all the time, but it's not the same as being able to see you in person, you know? And...I'm worried about you. You've been going through a tough time lately and I wish I could be there for you more."
Neil's heart swelled with emotion. He had been going through a rough patch, but he hadn't realized how much Todd cared until now.
"Todd, I miss you too. And...I'm scared. Scared of what the future holds, scared that I'll never be happy again. But talking to you always makes me feel better. You're my best friend, Todd. I don't know what I'd do without you."
There was a long pause before Todd spoke again, his voice barely above a whisper. "Neil...there's something else I need to tell you."
Neil's heart raced as he waited for Todd to continue.
"I...I love you, Neil. More than just a friend. I don't know when it happened or why, but I can't stop thinking about you."
Neil was stunned. He had never considered that Todd might feel that way about him, but now that he heard the words, it all made sense. He had always felt a special connection to Todd, but he had never dared to hope that it was anything more.
"Todd...I don't know what to say. I never thought of you in that way before, but now that you've said it, I realize that maybe I do feel the same way. I've been so caught up in my own head that I didn't even realize what was right in front of me."
There was a long silence as they both processed what had just been said.
"Neil...do you think we could...try this? See where it goes?"
Neil felt a smile spread across his face. "Yes, Todd. I want to try. I don't know what the future holds, but I know that I want to be with you."
They talked for hours more that night, laughing and crying and sharing their hopes and fears. And as they hung up, both of them felt a sense of comfort and angst. Comfort in knowing that they had each other, and angst in knowing that they had taken a step into unknown territory. But they were both willing to take that risk, because they knew that their love for each other was worth it.

The other day I had someone say they thought it sounded like I would be happier focusing on writing instead of coding (they're not really wrong but we're not getting into that)
I mentioned the comment to my dad yesterday and he responded with something that really pissed me off: "Well writing is going to become pretty obsolete soon thanks to AI like Chat GPT"
First of all, GPT is a stupid idiot. It can't even write a poem that doesn't rhyme when specifically directed to do so, or when it's told to remove the rhyme after failing to write a free verse poem in the first place.
It's never going to top human creativity. It won't make a rant about romantic attraction wrapped in a prayer to frozen yogurt. It won't pull off Amphibia's Rube Goldberg machine of Chekov's guns. It won't do a good job telling the story of a Latina, neurodivergent, bisexual girl. These are all human things that humans will do better than the stupid AI. I'm tired of people having more faith in Chat GPT than other people

it’s gotten to the point with the AI stuff that i’m kinda like. what’s the fucking point lol. it’s making me really question how long i’ll keep posting fic for where before i could see myself doing it for the rest of my life probably. it’s not abt my works getting scraped for datasets, that has probably already happened and i’m annoyed but not that upset by it so i’m not gonna delete stuff or whatever but like. if we’ve reached a point in fandom culture where people think that feeding peoples stuff into an autocomplete machine and asking it to writing different endings is cool and fun then why am i even here. i know as a writer that a computer cannot and will never do what i do but if the people reading my stuff think it can then maybe i should just let them play with their computers and walk away! idk it is insanely intensely demotivating

Fires suck. So do injuries, though.
Evan Buckley and Eddie Diaz were two firefighters at the same station in Los Angeles. Despite coming from very different backgrounds, they quickly became good friends. Buckley was the easygoing, charismatic type who always knew how to make people laugh. Diaz, on the other hand, was more reserved and serious, with a quiet intensity about him. One day, while on a call to rescue a group of people trapped in a burning building, things took a turn for the worse. Buckley and Diaz were separated from the rest of the team and found themselves trapped in a burning room with no way out.
As the flames grew hotter and the smoke thicker, Buckley started to panic. Diaz, however, remained calm and collected. He quickly assessed their situation and came up with a plan. Using his training and experience, Diaz was able to find a way out of the burning room and lead Buckley to safety. From that moment on, Buckley had a newfound respect for Diaz and his quiet strength. Over time, the two firefighters grew even closer, with Buckley bringing out Diaz's more lighthearted side and Diaz providing a steady presence for Buckley during tough times.
Together, they tackled all sorts of challenges on the job, from rescuing people from burning buildings to responding to car accidents and other emergencies. Outside of work, Buckley and Diaz became inseparable. They would often hang out together, whether it was grabbing a beer after a long shift or watching a game on TV. Their friendship was put to the test when Buckley was involved in a serious accident and ended up in the hospital. Diaz stayed by his side, offering support and encouragement throughout his recovery. Eventually, Buckley made a full recovery and returned to work, but his accident had left him with a newfound appreciation for life and for the people who mattered most to him. And at the top of that list was his friend and fellow firefighter, Eddie Diaz.

I would really like a single office day where I don't come home and play an evening-long game of Am I The Asshole?
#i probably am#coworker got mad at me today bc she used chatg/pt to write a list of revisions for me#and what it wrote was both incredibly condescending (chat/gpt feels the need to explain the basic rules of design like you're an infant)#and way longer than it should've been (we ask everyone to keep their posts short and sweet so that we don't have to read a whole paragraph#to figure out what the hell they want us to do)#so anyway i just told her 'pls just write out the tasks we don't need a whole chatg/pt essay for this'#and that made her mad bc she 'wrote everything up so nicely!' (no you didn't bitch)#so anyway we're caught in a loop of both thinking the other is a fucking asshole who's being a dick for no reason#also i sent her 2 screenshots just to explain that I'd thought 2 things were different sizes and she went ballistic#anyway... it's annoying bc i think she's our best designer but also. very much starting to not like her as a person#maybe i complimented her work too much. the other week she wrote out changes BY HAND that were perfectly clear and good#and i told her as much in the meeting#so....i guess this time she decided to use chatgpt? to be massively condescending bc CLEARLY i didn't just type thr wrong number somewhere#nooooooo CLEARLY i just don't understand web design at all!#also she got in a snit about 'of course X is Y pixels tall! we do all those meetings where we discuss the grid size!!'#which like....i am in those meetings and they are just the one dev trying to convince the designers to use the grid#and them coming up with a million reasons not to#sooooooo fuck me i guess for not expecting you to use the grid when all you do is piss yourselves about how were stifling your creativity#ANYWAY. so yeah maybe i am the asshole but in my defence don't use a fkn ai to write something that should take like 5 mins to write

Miles Edgeworth x Reader - A Funny Twist of Fate
Prompt Given - write me a fanfic for Ace Attorney where Edgeworth is on his way to prosecute a trial, and while on his way to the courthouse he meets eyes with a beautiful woman, Y/N, outside. He gets flustered and she laughs, and he speeds into the courthouse. lo and behold Y/N happens to be the defendant on trial for the murder of Ded Gui, and Edgeworth is absolutely appalled, but Wright is her lawyer, so during a recess Edgeworth approaches Wright and says "If you don't get a Not Guilty verdict for her so I can take her out to dinner I swear to god Wright, I'll never let you hear the end of it"
Fic Generated -
The air was tense outside the courthouse as Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth made his way towards the entrance, preparing himself for another intense trial. His mind was focused on the case, his thoughts filled with strategies and arguments. But as he approached, he inadvertently locked eyes with a beautiful woman standing just outside.
Caught off guard, Edgeworth's composure faltered for a moment, and a faint blush colored his cheeks. Y/N, the woman who had captured his attention, chuckled softly, amused by his flustered reaction. She watched as he hurriedly made his way into the courthouse, leaving her standing there with a smile on her lips.
Inside the courtroom, the trial began, and to Edgeworth's shock and dismay, he discovered that Y/N was the defendant, accused of the murder of Ded Gui. The evidence against her seemed overwhelming, but as the proceedings unfolded, he couldn't help but feel a growing sense of unease.
During a recess, Edgeworth found himself standing face to face with Phoenix Wright, Y/N's defense attorney. Without wasting a moment, he approached him with a determined look in his eyes.
"Wright, if you don't secure a Not Guilty verdict for Y/N so that I can take her out to dinner," Edgeworth began, his voice carrying a mix of frustration and determination, "I swear to God, you'll never hear the end of it."
Phoenix blinked in surprise, momentarily taken aback by Edgeworth's unexpected request. He chuckled, recognizing the gravity of the situation. "Edgeworth, you're actually interested in her? Well, I suppose we'll have to do our best, won't we?"
As the trial resumed, Phoenix presented a formidable defense, methodically dismantling the prosecution's case and raising reasonable doubt. Edgeworth watched with a mix of awe and annoyance as Phoenix skillfully maneuvered, all the while knowing that the Not Guilty verdict he sought hinged on the outcome.
In the end, with the weight of evidence and Phoenix's skillful defense, the verdict was delivered: Not Guilty. Edgeworth felt a mix of relief and triumph flood through him. He had achieved his goal, though he would never admit how much it meant to him.
Outside the courtroom, Y/N stood waiting, her eyes filled with a mixture of gratitude and curiosity. Edgeworth approached her, a rare softness in his expression. "Y/N, it seems we are owed a dinner," he said, his voice betraying a hint of playfulness.
Y/N's smile brightened as she replied, "I suppose I can't turn down a dinner invitation from the prosecutor himself."
And so, amidst the triumph and the relief, Miles Edgeworth and Y/N embarked on a new chapter, their shared adventure filled with conversations, laughter, and a newfound understanding. As they sat across from each other at a candlelit table, the boundaries of the courtroom faded, leaving room for a connection that neither of them had anticipated.
In this tale of courtroom drama and unexpected romance, Miles Edgeworth learned that even the most steadfast and analytical hearts could be swayed by the gentle touch of fate and the laughter of a captivating woman named Y/N.

Amid this ever-changing world,
The noblest quest to be found,
Far from being the most profound,
Is to seek and search, submerged
In knowledge.
I want to know and understand:
To learn the truth from the lie
Of the many lives of the spy,
All the stories told and banned,
They try hide.
Books, O guardians of the past,
Give me the secrets you keep —
Of long dead men and bleating sheep,
Of the here and the long past,
— in your gut
