NAKSHATRAS AS GODDESSES

🔪KRITTIKA🔥

DISCLAIMER: This is based solely on my research and the patterns that I saw. I can't promise that I'm gonna be sure in all the coorelations, but I'm going to attribute each nakshatra a goddess that I think fits it the closest. If you're dissapointed, to make up for it, I'm going to list some other deities in the end that I think also fit the nakshatra. Don't come for me if you think I'm wrong, be respectful in the comments if you think so and have fun 🤍

This was easy and almost immidiate. The associations between this goddess and Krittika are so apparent I didn't hesitate for a second. Look out for other deities similar to her in the end.

Brigid

Pantheon: Celtic (Irish)

Name meaning: "the exalted one", "strength"

Associations: fire, spring, poetry and inspiration, healing and herbalism, smithcraft, agriculture, cattle and sheep.

Symbols: Brigid's cross, holy wells, eternal flame.

Brigid is one of the most highly- revered and widely worshipped Celtic goddesses. She'a triple goddess, representing the maiden, the mother and the crone. As a Maiden, she rules over poetry, music and ispiration. As a Mother, she's presiding over healing. As a Crone, she's the goddess of fire and smithcraft.

Frequently depicted with fiery red hair, she is no simple goddess, also ruling over waters and serenity. She's a protector of women and children, presiding over childbirth and motherhood. Also frequengly depicted with lambs and sheep (krittika's yoni animal) and swans. She's closely connected to agriculture and farm animals.

Brigid, also being connected to wells and rivers, has many landmarks in Ireland with a body of water. The most famous one is a well in Kildare, Ireland. Water from that well is said to have healing properties.

Her father was Dagda (good, great god), leader of the Irish tribe Tuatha Dé Danann ("people of goddess Danu"), which consisted of Irish deities who lived there before the ancestors of the modern Irish had arrived. Dagda was a wise man, an all-father and a Druid. Brigid married Bres, another member of that tribe and together they had three children. One of them, Ruadán, died and Brigid mourned him with profound and painful sadness. She's very devoted to protecting children and this might be a reason why.

In honor of her, there's a sacred fire lit in Kildare and is guarded by the Sisters of St. Brigid. There has been a fire in Kildare since the time Brigid was worshipped. It has been put out several times, but has been re-lit and is still burning. This suggests that the worship of Brigid has endured as she she survived and was made a Catholic saint when Christianity came to Europe.

I want to talk about why I chose her for Krittika while comparing her to very similar goddesses.

First one is the Roman Vesta. Virgins were chosen to keep the fire of vesta burning and it was said that if even one of them gave their virginity, the fire would burn out. In those instances when fire burned out by itself, the poor Vestal Virgins were to blame. Vesta is also the Roman Equivalent of the Greek Hestia, both being goddesses of the hearth, fire and home.

Krittika is the nakshatra that burns impurities through being precise and cutting away all that is not nessecary, hence a sharp object and a flame being its symbols. Bridging the signs of Aries and Taurus, it's often fiery and passionate but also feminine and nurturing.

An Indian deity ruling over Krittika is Agni_ God of fire. An Indian goddess that is coorelated to Krittika (and also Purva Phalguni) is Tripura Sundari, meaning "the most beautiful in three worlds". This three world- triple goddess coorelation is apparent to me, besides the obvious fire associations, as well as nurturing, fertility and agriculture.

In the lunar mansion of Krittika, there's a constellation called the Pleiades, often called "the seven sisters". This is another confirmation of Krittika's very feminine nature, despite also representing the birth of the cosmic man and being very fiery and passionate in general.

Some other deities that I'd coorelate with Krittika:

Hestia- another virginal goddess of fire, also associated with home and hearth

Tripura Sundari- Indian goddess, "the most beautiful in the worlds"

Vesta- Roman goddess of fire and virgins

Bel- Celtic sun and fire god, also associated with healing, thunder and purification.

PAC: What's the situation, where is it rooted, where is it going?

It won't be the full cross, it's just the main part with past present future, root, and conscious. And then I will add an advice oracle. So, please pick the deck that you are most drawn to for your messages.

Pile 1

Hey, pile 1!

My take on this pile is that the past seems to involve an emotional situation. This could be a relationship but it can be anything where there was some kind of movement around a situation that you had emotional investment in or where emotionally attached to or maybe you even had a dream or fantasy about something happening.

The present indicates some anxiety, potentially not sleeping well, being worried or distressed about a situation or outcome.

At the root of it is the queen of swords, so generally it seems where this anxiety might be coming from could have to do with having to be honest about something, especially if we had the knight of cups in the back so it could be about holding back about something you want to say in regard to how you feel about a situation or a person. So, you seem to be in a place where you're reluctant to speak up.

Or, maybe you just feel conflicted about a decision that you have to make. It's almost like, there could be a situation where you can't make a decision or you're stressed out or you think you don't know what to do, but it looks like at the root, you do actually know what is the right decision to make here. You just either don't seem to want to make it or it would be hurtful in some way to have to make this decision or say this truth.

The conscious part is at the top, we have two of cups. This can definitely be about a relationship with someone, it can also be about balance within the self. So, for either situation, it might be that you are afraid of hurting someone's feelings if you tell the truth or you're afraid of their reaction. If this doesn't have to do with relationships or love, this is about a balance within the self and even if it's not a particular love relationship, it could be that the situation or the people involved, maybe something about the power dynamics doesn't feel equal.

What I can say, is that the future card is the star. At the back of the deck is also King of Wands and six of swords. So, whatever the situation, it looks like things will work out as they should. The star could definitely indicate a goal or a dream or an achievement that you're trying to get to, so maybe this decision has something to do with you being on the road toward something you hope to achieve. I think what makes that even more clear is that for your advice oracle, you have new moon in Virgo trust all will be well. So a lot of your nine of swords anxiety issues, seem to be about whether you're making the right decision or if you're on the right path or if this person is the right person for you or if whatever choice is the best choice.

What I can say because that kind of jumps into okay well how will it work out. I could say well no matter what you choose, that path will probably lead you to where you need to go because the future is already written anyway so there aren't really any surprises on the other side but to us we don't really have a map. But, what I can say since the root is the queen of swords, there are two options in this situation (probably). And one of them is to speak up and tell your truth whatever the situation may be and that will alleviate your anxiety. Even if your anxiety stems from having to speak that truth, you'll have it done and you'll feel better. The other option is it looks like you probably have to make some kind of decision. The queen of swords makes decisions kind of detached from emotion very coolly and logically but intelligently. And part of that root issue could even be coming from your more analytical habits - but in the subconscious I don't really see us as being able to do that, so it feels more about needing to be authentic and honest.

That might be difficult if there's some emotional element here in the situation because it could be hard to detach for you to see things objectively or logically. And if it's a matter of choosing something and then something that would lead toward your path but you feel reluctant to follow that for whatever reason, I would also say you probably want to choose the thing that you know puts you closer to your path or goal.

The back of the deck with the king of Wands and six of swords, together as a combination would definitely be something like having the confidence to move forward in the situation with all the authority that you have. It's also about authenticity, so really we're getting a message that you need to be true to yourself in this situation.

I think the anxiety is coming from a place where you aren't being allowed to express that authenticity, maybe it's pressure or something else. So it's almost like it's surfacing based on that. And maybe it will just be helpful to know that everything will work out as it should in the end. But I feel like that's some good advice to follow to get there or to help alleviate your anxiety.

Intuitively, what I want to say is going down the middle, the queen of swords looks as if she's in the subconscious (like where you see kurama locked up in Naruto). So there must be some unconscious or repressed thoughts here or even maybe things that you didn't want to think about before are suddenly starting to rise up. And with the nine of swords, there are two figures here who feel sort of distressed obviously. And the two of cups also represents two figures, so I do wonder if maybe you feel split between two people or two situations. The night of cups also shows a male figure rising up out of the water, so that makes me think about certain emotions surfacing. And there are three planets on that card, so this could be a third party situation or just representative of somebody having multiple choices. And you might feel torn on which way to go.

But like I said, you have to move in the route that feels most authentic to you. If this is about making a decision, you'll just have to do it because the anxiety is only temporary and you'll feel better once you make the decision. Or if there is a truth that you need to share, once you do that, I think you will feel better. But in the long run as long as you are true to yourself and how you feel, you will end up with the star situation. I feel like that's general advice if this resonates for you, whenever you feel stuck or anxious about choices, listen to your inner self and what feels right to you as opposed to all of the external pressures that might be happening that make you feel like you can't follow the authentic path of what really feels right for you, whatever that option would be, that's probably going to be the best option for you to take. Otherwise that anxiety is a way for your nervous system to tell you that something about it doesn't feel right or safe.

Granted, change or new things or taking risks within reason can be scary, but in situations where it's a bit more than that, I would stay true to yourself. Even if it means sharing a truth that could hurt a friend/lover/acquaintance/coworker's feelings. You have to put yourself first in that whatever can best align you to not being in that place of fear or anxiety anymore, is what is best and you can always deliver that news gently. But as long as you're not being truthful to you or another person, you're not really being your authentic self.

Lots of messages coming through for you, pile 2. I went ahead and took almost everything that popped out.

What I feel from this just as an example is the kind of feeling after an accomplishment of some sort or the end and start of a new cycle in your life. There's probably going to be some significant change in the feeling or in the physical aspect of your life.

I actually see you as feeling pretty good really. We have in the past we have the lovers card. Of course this can be about love or relationships but it can be about communication or choice or harmony.

I'm taking it as pretty good energy, I feel like things were going well, things were finally coming into a good place for you. Even though it's in the past, it feels pretty steady. You are pile too which can definitely be a power relationships, so if you are in a relationship, things must have been pretty harmonious there. If this relates to a choice, some type of choice was made in the past or you received some type of communication about something. Those are the most likely options for the past.

In the present there's a bit more going on, so maybe things in the past recently were a bit more calm, but now things are building up or there's more going on for you in the present and comparison. Because we have King of cups, which can definitely represent that emotional calm again and some harmony, and six of pentacles is here so we're bringing in that balance again. Three of pentacles is here, so we're building up to something.

On the relationship end, this would be something about building a really strong and balanced emotional foundation. If it's internal, it's pretty similar in that maybe being in a place of calm or being in a place of harmony has kind of built your confidence or just made you feel really stable. You seem to even be in a place where you are ready to share positive energy with others, whether this is through inspiration. It could also involve a person who might be like a king of cups individual. And this person doesn't have to be a partner or anything, they could just be a friend or a family member or a co-worker, but if you meet this person sometime in the near present, it feels like a very reciprocal relationship, one where you're building something together. It would make sense if it ended up being a co-worker of course with all of these pentacles here.

But I do get a strong sense of solid emotional balance right now and really feel like you're seeing progress. You're almost hopeful or you already are. I don't see any hesitancy really to move forward. I only sense that things are getting stronger. And it was already strong in the past which makes me think that the past and the present for this spread are going to be very closely tied together in terms of time. Like this could be the last month or even the last week or the last couple of days but it's a very positive energy.

At the bottom, we have the world. The world is about a sense of completion or accomplishment. And that makes sense considering we have harmony in the past and then we have a sense of harmony in the present and even building that further in terms of emotional stability, being able to share yourself or your energy or your craft without feeling drained or vulnerable.

So at the root of this feeling, is that sense of you've accomplished something or something has come to an end but you feel good about it and a new start has come and you're building something fresh and new.

In particular, this could be more work related. Because when I see the world, I think of Saturn, and in the present we have some pentacles. It could just mean that this is representing how solid your feelings are right now. But it could definitely indicate that the situation has more to do with your career or studies.

But I actually see you as feeling pretty good. If you don't feel so great, then this isn't the pile for you I don't think because this is someone who feels very satisfied about either the career work they've done or where they are in their studies or work or just in terms of their emotional or spiritual work. They feel like they are in a good place. And it just keeps going up.

At the surface, we have eight of cups and two of ones. So it does seem like you are indeed walking away from something. This could just be another way of saying a cycle in life has ended and you are being pushed in a direction where something will be better for you or just you've learned the lesson from the previous phase, now it's time to start a new phase and promote some type of growth. You've grown out of the old cycle, now we have a new start. The two of Wands is in the earlier stages of planning or starting out on a new journey, so I'm not surprised you would get a two. For some of you, it could be that you have multiple paths that you could take. Even if that's true, it doesn't essentially matter which path you take because it seems like as long as you go forward, you're going to end up in a better place than you have been. Not that the previous place was bad, that just seems like you were in a place where you were building up your power.

Just looking at those cards as well, you have somebody who is looking out to the ocean at a ship, they're probably going to get on this ship and go to somewhere new. Maybe there could be some issues with okay well where am I going to end up or where will the ship take me what will be out there. But the two of wands show someone riding a giraffe, they're in a higher place. They seem to be like in a whole new continent. So, I wonder too, if some of you might be traveling as well.

If not traveling, it's a metaphor for a new adventure. Where your setting is going to change so this could be a relocation or a new job but the whole situation seems like it's going to be different from now on whatever it is. It might be a little lonely at the start, but I still think there's probably nothing you can do to prevent this change that's coming in anyway, so it depends on what perspective you have about this change. If you look at it as an adventure or if you let the unknown worry you.

It's possible with the lovers card in the past too that you were really in a comfort zone. And this picture, she seems very cozy and comfortable but when you get to the present and the conscious part of it, there's travel and there's movement and there's not necessarily knowing a destination. I'm not seeing any cards that represent anxiety here but I would just assume when someone moves from a place of harmony and stability and then maybe that cycle ends and something new comes in and it's like a whole new situation where more is going on, that could be overwhelming.

But at the top, the person who's looking out at the ship and then this light being carried in two of Wands, makes me think you are being pulled in a direction for a reason. You're pulled to the ship, you're pulled to the light, you want to move forward. Whether you understand completely why or not, or if you don't realize that there could be other things involved to push you in that direction but you don't see them.

But I see with the world at the root as it's time to move forward says the universe but also I could totally see where travel will be part of this.

But like I said, it could be a metaphor here where the universe wants to tell you see it as an adventure, see it as a trip, see it as a way to experience new things that you haven't experienced before but you are ready.

In the future, we have seven of pentacles. So, it's going to be a time of sewing seeds for something or having to wait or having to be patient. The future character on the card seems to be looking at your present collection of cards which like I said is all about building something. So I think even in the future you're going to basically be doing the same thing as the present which is building something up internally or building this relationship or working on this phase of life for some time. But the phase of life that's building up is a way to balance you out emotionally and I guess make it easier for you to handle certain situations and how you react emotionally. And like I said if it's a relationship, it's just going to be building up that relationship whatever it may be.

So, since it's seven of pentacles, I think that's what you'll be working on until eventually reach the next phase and that's a whole other thing. But for probably a good chunk of time, you'll be working on finding this inner peace and continuing to grow it and feeling more in a place where you can share your knowledge with people or be more nurturing. Because I think when you're in a good place, you have more of that energy to help others. But it just seems like internally you'll be coming even more into balance which makes me think that you are also in a place where there is still more stability than you've had in a long time because really the only way we can feel this calm and balanced and cozy is to feel secure in some way. So even if there's a bit of a transition to get to this point, the overall feeling is really good.

In terms of advice, you did get three cards so maybe you need advice lol. We have new moon in Leo shine, first quarter moon in Scorpio release your blocks, quarter moon in Taurus release control.

The release year blocks makes me think of the present situation and I see the three of pentacles as blocks or chains on you, so maybe there is something like handcuffs on you when it comes to this emotional balance in the present. And those blocks are probably the control issue. Controlling outcomes, trying to know what's going to happen in the future when you really can't and you'll have to just go with the flow as they say. And I think the shine card is giving you permission to just enjoy it for the present. To enjoy what is essentially a time of calm in your life or opportunities. Rather than look at it as being a challenge if there's some minor transitional stuff like well I have to pack and I have to move and I have to do this, consider that temporary annoyance. Because you are a transitioning to a better stage.

The only thing that's making it uncomfortable is the amount of control you want to have over everything. Since the release your blocks is Scorpio card, it could have to do with fear or some unresolved issues about change. But it also says that okay we're talking about cycles. Cycles will always happen, this is one of them. to fully release the past cycle you'll have to release control and let go and just jump into it. Be brave like a Leo. Instead of worrying about all of the what ifs that might be involved, just jump into it. I mean you don't want to jump into anything carelessly but this is the point where I think you've already established what route to go so it's not like I would tell you to jump into any unsafe situation. But if it's a stable situation and only the minor inconveniences are what are holding you back, just enjoy it.

And yeah, I don't see any like big explosions in the future or something happening right away. The next part of your journey is going to be a bit of a slow solid progress for whatever reason the universe thinks that you should have that. So for example if you are moving or relocating, it's just going to be you doing that situation for a year or two years. And that's where you stay for a while. There won't be any moving immediately after that or any kind of weird things thrown your way. You're just going to stay on a steady path it looks like.

Back of the deck is queen of cups, so again you could actually be meeting account apart at some point for some of you, through work, or you already met them and maybe you'll be working on building that relationship slowly and solidly. It almost feels like a transition period in your life anyway because it's like you're going somewhere but you're going to stay there for a while and work on something for some time.

So anyway, back of deck is queen of cups so again there's that sensitivity and intuition and emotional maturity, being in touch with your feelings. Behind it is the five of pentacles, which can be a sort of a lack mentality so maybe it is about this whole journey that's coming up or this cycle that you already went through, was all about bringing you more to a place of emotional stability because you lacked that. Behind that is five of swords. So the fives are coming out to definitely indicate some change happening for sure.

Maybe there was a time where there was a lot of conflict for you, you had to kind of retreat and go into a safe place to recover for some time and you're continuing to build up that healing energy or healing your heart. A lot of energy seems to be getting poured into that. Rebuilding the heart space and making it stronger and making you feel like you can react to situations in a more calm a manner, you could open up to people again, you're okay with other people opening up to you and sharing something, more comfortable with sharing feelings.

And I think you will continue to be on that journey. But at the same time, there's a part of it that's being left behind because you've made enough progress that you are ready to go to the next step. And you are ready to go out more in the sense that maybe you had been kind of withdrawn for a while and now you're ready to shine. And like whatever blocks are there might have been blocks that just come from being in that hermit phase for a period of time so you have to let those go and then you can go forward with everything that you've learned. And you will be on that phase for a certain amount of time until that phase completes and something new comes in.

And for some of you, you may meet somebody soon that's going to be a part of that journey or you already have met them in some way or even if you haven't formally met, they're in your psychic or conscious sphere, I think.

And since we have a lot of cup cards and I mentioned about following the light, continue to follow your intuition about where you want to go, wherever feels the most fulfilling or the most bright to you. If there's a route that you can take and it doesn't feel bright, don't take it. If it doesn't excite you, don't take it because that's your intuition telling you that there might be something better. Or if you think of a choice and something about it just feels so gloomy. You don't necessarily have to follow that path there must be multiple paths you can follow and you should follow the one that excites you the most. I mean with these cards, this person is clearly excited to go on adventure on the ship, they're not excited about going into a cave. Sometimes we want to go into our cave lol but this is not that kind of situation. You should be coming out of that situation and going towards something a bit more new and exciting.

And in theory, it does look like you should be ready for this even if you have a couple of things coming up that make you a bit hesitant or scared but overall you seem excited about it and ready for this change.

Pile 3

Just like pile two, you have a lot of messages.

So, in the past, there definitely seems to be a sense of something new starting, a new adventure or journey. It seems to be in the first stages of something new for you, something exciting, if it's about a career, it could even be a creative opportunity. But it's new, and there is some excitement about it. And if you've even taken some steps toward that new path. Looking at the page of Wands, it almost looks like somebody is offering you an opportunity, so maybe you've been offered something and there are some stages that have been passed toward this maybe nothing definitive has come of it but there's a start to something here.

But there could be an element of uncertainty to it just because when I look at the three of wands, they're looking at the moon and the moon makes me think of a sense of the unknown. So you could be starting something but not really know where it's going or what the outcome might be.

In the present we have eight of wands, and what I want to tell you is that I thought two cards were going to come out, but I took the one that actually fell out but when I looked at the one that was wiggling out and about to fall with it it was three of swords. So a couple of things if I take that into account because otherwise eight of wands just means something is coming in quick, probably some type of information or communication.

So obviously if we take into account three of swords with maybe supposed to come out, the communication might be a disappointment. Or one of the communications could be a disappointment or we are still in mercury retrograde until tomorrow essentially, so it could be that you will receive this communication in the next couple of days. But it could be negative or it's just talking about the timing for Mercury retrograde but take both into account if you're awaiting results for something, they could be negative or if you're awaiting multiple responses for something, you might have disappointment in one while getting another or some sort of situation like that.

But let's just say in general the present is about a situation in which there will be information coming to you very soon. Maybe since it says you just started something, this could be a job search or anything that you would have started and you're waiting on information, you are very quickly about to receive this information and for some of you it's not going to be the news that you want and for some of you it just indicates by Friday. Or this weekend or whatever. Shadow probably extends past the 3rd.

When I look at this card, the little streaks around it kind of remind me of eight of swords and then we have the moon behind it again, so there could be some anxiousness around the information that you were waiting for or if it's not the answer or result that you wanted or expected, it might make you feel sort of trapped or you don't know what to do or kind of stuck at first. Or this is the energy of having to wait for this information to come to you.

For others if that doesn't resonate, you could just be feeling a certain type of way. Mars is really strong right now, so you might be feeling a lot of fire effects I guess I want to say like if you felt like you were being rained down on with a lot of Mars energy, that could be how you feel at present. You could be feeling irritable or you could feel like you have a lot of energy to get things done. You could be feeling motivated. It could be all of this stuff going on.

I would also say looking at these cards or if this one in particular, there's a doorway open below so this could be about information being blocked which again retrograde or you're waiting on information that would sort of be like going through a door somewhere, which could be a new opportunity or to go somewhere new but a door would definitely mean like okay doors are opening it's an opportunity. So again it makes me think that you're waiting on information that involves an opportunity to do something. And since we know you started on it it really does read like waiting on results or an answer to something that's already been asked.

The root here is ace of pentacles, so we do have potentially a new opportunity but this is where I usually think that it's an unconscious root so this could also be about something kind of taking hold. Next to it is the moon. So it could be like an unconscious fear has taken root and will be involved somehow. It could also be that you have an instinct that's coming up as well like an intuitive hit that's taken hold like some type of feeling. It's intuition but you're feeling it and it's there and it's not going away. So that would make me think also to tell you to trust your gut on whatever is happening.

But also yeah keep in mind that there could be some unconscious fears that are taking root about this or unconscious habits that might come up.

But with the eight of Wands sitting above it I also read that card as downloads and information so it's almost like you are being hit with something from spiritual levels and it's starting to form something in your unconscious that is an intuitive hit. Like you should be feeling this way because the spirits are sending you the signal, so you should trust it. Or it could be that whatever information is that you're waiting on or about to receive, something about it could be forming a calcite in your unconscious. Like the start of something that has to do with uncertainty or something not being clear. But maybe that's why you're waiting for the information. So that you can have clarity on whatever is going on.

On the top which would be you know how you're consciously processing the situation we have the universe, ace of wands, five of wands, queen of pentacles.

It feels like whatever you have started, you have kind of been an instigator or initiator of this as in you are cultivating this experience. There is excitement and maybe a spark of creativity or interest or whatever this offer or opportunity is, you do seem excited about it because it's new or it's an opportunity. The five of Wands can show that maybe if this is a job thing, there's some competition here and maybe you feel excited about the competition or maybe there was competition and you are waiting on notice that you have been the one selected or the one to beat out the competition. Because the universe is here and that means completion or accomplishment.

So overall it does feel like okay well you applied for some jobs and you're waiting to know if you want out amongst the competition and can start this new journey or there's just some ego excitement about hearing that you've been offered something. I mean I see some conflict too which could be internal maybe you're worried about taking it or worried about getting it or if it's the best offer but generally this is about possibly waiting on getting some type of answer so that you can have a sense of closure to whatever potential new thing this is.

But yeah I still see this as some type of waiting period. And then waiting for an answer.

And when you get it I'm going to have to say there will be an ability to close the door on this if you don't get the answer you want or you know if you have it or not I guess.

And for some of you if this is travel since those cards are here, it could be waiting on the okay for something to be able to travel or study abroad. I might even sense some worry about the outcome of everything and what's going to happen. But you will get your answer shortly either way.

So for the future, we have a lot of things happening here we have nine of pentacles and the star and hierophant.

In the future and I almost want to say this is a potential outcome. It feels more with a star that this is the hopeful outcome that you have of this answer that you're waiting on. So rather than say definitively this is good news, I'm going to say this is what you are hoping. So there is a feeling of some type of financial independence or success or self-worth. Feeling like you made it on your own or you accomplished something for sure. It also seems to be related to a goal or desire that you have, and the Hierophant could indicate if you have applied to a job that this is the institution to what you applied. And it's sitting in for that. Like waiting to work at this place that I want to work at because it's a goal.

It could also definitely be about a goal revolving around school and studies and if you've been accepted or not. Or did you get that scholarship because nine of pentacles totally makes sense for a scholarship or some type of elevation of money and status here. The other thing is specifically the star can be about online stuff so maybe this is something you'll apply for online or a job that you can do online or something that involves communication or technology online. And you want to be successful at it or it would give you that elevation of monetary status in a good way. Terrible sentence but.

On a more spiritual level, we have two pretty spiritual major arcana. One is about healing and restarting and coming from a very fresh and healed place. Nine of pentacles is also about self-worth. Which matches with the Taurus energy of the hierophant. So it does seem to be more in relation to money or status and a goal.

Back of the deck is the empress and nine of swords and night of swords. So this could be about communication or information that you are waiting on and there does seem to be some anxiety here, and we also know that the situation is kind of new but could be potentially fertile when it comes to abundance. And it could also be related to a creative job or creative study something like that.

More or less it feels like somebody waiting on a reply that if is positive could lead to an increase in money and status essentially which just reads like a job offer like I said. But to me it feels very hopeful. I don't know if I feel that way because we had the three of swords to make me feel like maybe the answer won't be what you want. So it's like the imagined best outcome for the future. So I just want you to be prepared for both answers but sure if you get it, yeah you'll have this more money and more stability and you'll have achieved a goal or even be on your path toward your biggest goal. That there could be an institution involved here that could represent a company or a university. And it would offer more than you have now, because that's what abundance is. But you seem to not have the answer yet there's a bit of anxiety and you might even have to make further decisions on it or it's just about waiting for someone else to make the decision about you. But I still think it's going to be happening very quickly. Like literally within the next week you should be receiving this information if not sooner.

Your advice card is full moon in Libra, find a balance. I'm going to look at the guide book because I find that sort of vague. This could be about weighing options or a decision. And this could be you having to make the decision or the institution making a decision and weighing the information available. I'm feeling that interpretation fits a lot more than simply saying find an emotional balance or work life balance. This is more I think having to do with a choice and since it's not really advice, I think it's confirming that for some of you you aren't going to get the answer you want and for some of you you are. But I can tell you that whatever happens, the outcome is going to be fair. If you aren't seen as the right fit for the position or if you don't need the qualifications, the decision was done fairly so you don't have to feel cheated at least. Or if you get it, you can know that you deserved it. Not to say you didn't deserve it if you applied but it just wasn't the opportunity for you at this time.

And then for some of you maybe you will get one offer or multiple offers and then you'll have to weigh those choices and what direction you want to go. But at this point there's no point in doing that until you have the information from everywhere. Like if you apply to multiple jobs, maybe you have to wait until you've gotten all the information back from the places you're applying at before making a decision. Or it's advising you to make a pros and cons list.

When I think of the justice card and it being about choices or decision making, you kind of think of a court in the sense that in order to make the best decision or the most objective decision, you have to have all of the information first and then you have to weigh that information against a decision. There's not a lot of emotional stuff involved, it's more of like factual. These are the facts and this opportunity gives me this and this one gives me this so by that, I will choose this. And then of course it could be the process of whoever you're waiting on and how they're going to figure it out but they won't screw you over. I mean they might tell you no but it will be for a reason.

I think too because this card has the moon behind it which it's a moon oracle deck so of course it has the moon but still, there is a sense of unknown. I don't think that there is a wrong or right decision there's just weighing the information that you have and choosing from that and you probably won't know the long-term outcome if that's what you're waiting on. That's never going to happen. And the only thing you can do is rely on your intuition for what feels like is the best choice for you.

NAKSHATRAS AS GODDESSES

🌙Mrigashira🦌

This one is more of a collection of very similar goddesses who are all pretty much well-suited for Mrigashira. I still chose the principal goddess, although it was very hard to focus on only one.

Flidais

Pantheon: Celtic

Name meaning: soft-haired, fair haired.

Associations: Hunting, woodlands, wild animals, cattle, deer.

Symbols: deer

Flidais is a somewhat obscure Celtic goddess of the hunt. She's similar to more famous goddesses: Artemis and Diana, but unlike them, she's not a virgin and her story is different.

The mythology of Mrigashira is about how the seeming perfection of Rohini (the union of sexes) gets shattered. It's the birth of seduction and pursuit between the sexes, this is the place where Eve eats the forbidden fruit and becomes aware that she's separate from the male, not just something to be placed under his submission, as she was in Rohini. In Hindu mythology, when Rohini realizes that she's desired by Brahma, she turns into a doe and flees. Brahma then turns into a deer and chases her, before his head is cut off by God Rudra (God of the next nakshatra_ Ardra), thus, the deers's head being Mrigashira's symbol.

The story of goddess Flidais goes like this: She's unhappily married to a man she dies not love, feeling stuck and not knowing what to do, until another man appears, with whom she shares a deep love. He gets challenged by Flidais's husband, and he wins. As a reward, he gives deer and cattle to Flidais, for her to have something on her own, placing his faith in her. In one myth, she's said to have transformed into a stag.

Flidais has a surname, Foltcháin, meaning "beautiful(soft) hair". Mrigashira belongs to a clan of nakshatras called Pulastya (smooth haired).

Besides Flidais, there are other goddesses that can be coorelated to Mrigashira. One of them is Dali- Georgian goddess of the hunt, deer and other horned wild animals. She's said to have beautiful, long golden hair and is the Goddess that governs the rules of the hunt. Either completely nude or dressed only in white, she frequently mated with humans as she wished, just like the female in Mrigashira awakening to her own sexual power. She was said to be unbelievably beautiful, both irresistible and terrible. Dali was harsh with those who violated her rules. She lived in a cavern in a mountain. Parvati, the goddess that was born under this nakshatra, was the goddess of mountains, among other things.

There is also a story about a celtic maiden named Sadhbh, who refused to accept a Druid's advances and because of that, was cursed to be a doe. After three years, the serving man of that druid took pity on her and said that if she were ever to set foot in the dún (castle, fort) of the Fianna of Ireland, the curse would be lifted. Fianna were small bands of warrior-hunters in Ireland during the Iron age and early middle ages. Sadhbh travelled straight to a house that belonged to a Fionn. She was found by him as a doe when he was out hunting. His dogs didn't harm her since they too had been humans before. When they returned to the house, Sadhbh was once again a beautiful girl. They got married.

After Fionn was called to battle against the Vikings, the druid reached Sadhbh and laid the same curse on her, again. Fionn spent several years searching for his wife, but without success. At the end of those seven years he found a wild boy in the forest who said he was raised by a doe. Fionn looked at his face and recognising his wife's features, he realised that he was looking at their son. The boy was Oisín, a famous figure in Irish mythology.

Another interesting deity is the Albanian goddess Zana- goddess of the mountains. Zana were said to be fairies who lived in the mountains and bathed in waterfalls and river streams in nature. They're said to have a very brave character that was known to all. She's a somewhat obscure goddess given her name comes from the name of a creature, but I thought that she was interesting nontheless.

I want to talk about Mrigashira's ruling deity- the moon god Soma. Soma is also known to be the exilir of immortality. Mrigashira's power is to give fulfillment, so to drink Soma, to eat the forbidden fruit, to attain something not everyone has access to is risky, but it's worth the risk. Mrigashira is also associated with quests, adventures and bravery (just like Bharani, the other Venus-Mars ruled nakshatra). The real life natives of Mrigashira are often daring and inquisitive, always craving something else besides what they have.

The moon god being Mrigashira's deity makes me think that Artemis- Greek goddess of the moon, hunting, deer and other wild animals is a great fit for it, but her virginal nature is not in alignment with Mrigashira. If we think of her virginity as simply her being unmarried and independent, then she definitely can be coorelated to Mrigashira. The same goes for Diana- her Roman equivalent.

Some other deities I coorelated to Mrigashira other than Flidais:

Artemis- Greek goddess of hunting, deer, wild animals, the Moon and virgins.

Diana- The Roman equivalent of Artemis.

Dali- Georgian goddess of hunting, deer and other horned wild animals.

Zana- Albanian fairy goddess of the mountains.

Sadhbh- Irish doe-maiden goddess

Cernnunos- Celtic horned god, the god of wild things.

This is it for Mrigashira. I'm very happy I found the Goddesses whose mythologies were so obviously similar to Mrigashira's. As I said, it was hard to choose just one, but I think that I made the right choice, given that Flidais ticked off the most similarities. I'm consistently fascinated by the coorelations between seemingly unrelated cultures and this one was big. It's also my sun, rahu and saturn placement, so no pressure there lol.
