Ah, hello Tumblr roleplayers, it has been a while! I am one of many who was left adrift after Omegle shut down and am on the search for rp partners.
I am looking for rp partners in a variety of fandoms, genres, ships, etc. I’ll have all of them listed in a hopefully organized manner below and will do my best to keep this list accurate. If you’re interested, feel free to shoot me a DM or interact with this post and I’ll reach out to you. But please do read through this post fully before doing so, thanks!

-Experience: I’ve been roleplaying off and on in a variety of fandoms and styles for around 10+ years
What I’m Looking For In A Roleplay Partner:
-Age: Roleplayers who are at least 20+ as well
-Style: I’m open to a variety of styles, I roleplay everything from one sentence “text message” style to multi-paragraph advanced lit. Though my preferences tend to lean towards lit/advanced lit.
-Location: I’d prefer someone who’s comfortable transitioning to Discord, once we agree on what we want to rp
-Expectations: One of the things I loved about Omegle were the casual vibes when it came to when an rp needed to end. So, while I hope for some long term rps, I’m looking for people who will be okay with rps ending when interest dissipates. Without the need for big explanations as to why. This goes both ways! I won’t expect such explanations from you either if we start any sort of storyline and you end up wanting to drop out. The way I see it, this is meant to be a fun pass time and ideally shouldn’t feel like a stressful obligation for either of us.

As an adult roleplayer who recently watched "Captain America: The First Avenger," I'm interested in exploring the ships Steve / Howard Stark or Steve / Bucky. I'm seeking like-minded individuals who are enthusiastic about these pairings and interested in collaborative writing. I approach roleplaying with an open mind and without judgment. Before we begin, we will discuss our limits to ensure a clear understanding and a comfortable experience. I'm able to provide a reply once a day.
The idea I had for our roleplay is centered around an alternate scenario where Steve never crashes during World War II. Instead, the army detains him for further studies. In this setting, Howard Stark can be the one in charge of these studies, delving into the depths of Steve's abilities. Alternatively, we can explore a plot where Bucky joins Steve in facing the challenges together.

Hello, I'm new here.
I'm a new Peggy Carter roleplayer.
I haven’t roleplayed on tumblr in a long time, but I have such a passion for this character that I thought why not revisit roleplaying and play her.
I haven’t seen the MCU that many times (I did just do my first rewatch ever) so my knowledge of the universe may not be the best. Please forgive me. I know Captain America and Agent Carter the best - I've seen TFA and Agent Carter multiple times.
Independent portrayal of Peggy Carter, in Agent and Captain form.
AU friendly
Multiverse friendly - TFA-era, Agent Carter-era, post-Endgame, What If-verse, all sound fun to me!
I mainly ship with Steve but I am open to multi-shipping with Daniel Sousa.
I am over 30 and I have two jobs so I will try my best to be on this account as often as I can.
I write Steggy fanfiction, find me on AO3.
I will not tolerate any hate toward this character, her ending, or Steve’s choice to go back to her in Endgame. If I see any negativity about Peggy or about Hayley Atwell, that’s an instant block. I have met Hayley and she was the sweetest celebrity I’ve ever interacted with.

♦ What was a mildly annoying thing that has happened to you rp wise?
I’ve been role playing on and off since about 2011, in various fandoms - and like there are plenty of horror stories but when I think of ‘mildly annoying’ one in particular thing comes to mind. And lowkey braced me for writing Eddie in terms of ‘be prepared to be exasperated with fandom when you write their favorite white man’.
So like, I was a fan of Bucky Barnes prior to the MCU - and I had an rp account based on the comic portrayal. After the first Captain America movie came out, I had an MCU verse - and basically had my own little Winter Soldier adaptation/plot with various partners.
When the second Captain America movie came out, it was a fun time! One of my favorites! ...it also made life as a roleplayer pretty difficult. The community was flooded with a bunch of new dupes, which - is great! Love that people are discovering/latching onto a character, but. It wasn’t dupe anxiety so much as being ostracized for not towing the fanon party line?
Which. Is how it sometimes feels as an Eddie fan too, but oop.
I know this sounds pretentious and gatekeepy and that’s Bad, but I kind of miss before the character became a fan favorite. Eddie was a fan favorite from the word go, so I knew what I was getting into - but to go from being one of the only fans of a character to having people come in out of nowhere and tell you that your portrayal is Wrong by their standards is.
Mildly annoying, yes, is one word for it.
Cause from like 2011 to 2013 or so? Marvel fandom by and large did not care about him, actively ignored him/kept him dead in fanworks, or actively hated him for getting in the way of the two main ships at the time (Steve/Tony, Natasha/Clint).
Everything changed around the time of the second Cap film, and it was just. Overwhelming, and tbh killed my muse for the character for a bit. The pendulum swung completely the other way - and again and it’s not that I felt any type of ownership or bitterness!
I was glad people were getting into the character... not redundancy, or like anyone was stepping on any toes. Everyone has their own take on a character, and that’s great!
It was more just. A bunch of little things adding up? Suddenly the fandom is much larger, and you’re sort of made to feel unwelcome despite being there first? Which. Again, gatekeepy. Bad.
People didn’t read rules/abouts - interacted without knowing my character history and making assumptions. When they realized I didn’t ship a grown man with his former teen sidekick (cause again, comic influenced - totally different backstory) I was called homophobic. I wasn’t out at the time, but. I’m bi. And that also feeds into a annoying peeve I know we have in common, shitting on m/f ships and making assumptions about people because they have them. Cause sure, if you’re only familiar with the films... Bucky/Widow- had no real interaction - most of it was antagonistic. But... this is not a crack ship...
TLDR; when you write a secondary character and then that character blows up and suddenly everyone’s an ‘expert’ who makes you feel unwelcome in the fandom despite you liking the thing before it was cool (in a non hipster way).... that’s mildly annoying.

ILLBCTHERE: A theme for a Steve Rogers roleplayer. I struggled with this theme as I wasn’t used to such dark concepts. This was a dark take on Captain America, however. I enjoyed working with the outline of the boxes; I set the border modes to overlay, and combined with the sparks in the background, it created a glowing look that was my favorite part of the theme, without the borders being too overbearing.
