It is the afternoon for me because I overslept!! I think I either forgot to put my alarm on or turned it off in my sleep, but here we are.

Eddie would be the type to turn your alarm off after a long day of work and leave you a little note saying you needed your rest and not to worry about when you wake up. He'd have a meal ready for you and take a relaxing day with you, watching tv or going out for a simple meal 😌💙

I'm also gonna add that this is when he works full time at the mechanic shop and part time as a bartender at the Hideaway. Mans is also very tired and sleepy, but he'd do anything to take care of you.

When Eddie wakes up 5am to get ready for the day, he makes sure to move with care to avoid waking you up and turn off your alarm. He already got a coworker to cover for you and called your boss to let them know that you're calling out with cover. He slides out of bed and stumbles through your little apartment to put on a faded record on low to keep him company while making both your meal.He only prep ingredients for your meals though since he knows you like to cook, but it can be overwhelming to do all the steps.

After packing his bag with all his food, water bottles, change of clothes, and tattered copy of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Eddie gets dressed in his clean-ish overalls and white tee. Your sleepy form all scrunched in a ball on his side of the bed makes him melt. Relief relaxes his shoulders when the clock only says it's 6:30am, so Eddie has a bit of time to enjoy your presence before the long day to come. Without fail he sits beside you and lets you curl into his side for a bit before he has to leave for work at 7am. Trying not to count down the minutes and just enjoy running his fingers across you, Eddie lounges in bed just a bit longer.

But when the clock hits 7:05am, Eddie sighs and slips from your grasp. He pulls the covers over you and tucks you back into bed with a chaste kiss to your head. Bag in hand, Eddie locks the front door secure and pulls on the door to double check the lock before hopping into his van. A photo of him holding you in his arms laughing and looking at him over your shoulder decorates the dash board and brings a soft smile to his sleepy expression.

@percki you know what? i love this so much because what if all of the older campers and counselors knew of the rumors but just purposefully leave percy and annabeth out of it? like these two just have no idea why campers are acting strange around them but they get offered free food every now and then during lunch so they just don't question it lol

Hey there! I've said something before but now I want to say that your art is great and that you are responsible for getting me into Sherlock & co. But I have a burning question regarding your thoughts on Guy Richtie's Sherlock. Do you like it?

I actually do like it!!!

Over the summer I was the artist in residence at a summer camp and every night we had a big night game. Wizard capture the flag or Vampires vs. Werewolves--Whatever the activities director came up with that day.

One day the activity was Greek Mythology murder mystery. All the counselors were gods or heroes and Achilles was the victim, killed by an arrow to the chest. The cause of death hadn't been announced for 2 seconds before kids started yelling, "That's wrong! Achilles can only be killed by his heel!" Not just the teens. Elementary school kids too. I'd read the game doc before and knew that was supposed to be the mid-game twist and they got there in seconds.

These kids were exactly the target audience for the Percy Jackson show and so tapped into all the lore. Like, I saw a ten year old walk by me and say to her friends, "OK, if Achilles is here, where's Patroclus?" I was a total Greek Mythology nerd at that age pre the series existing and I don't even think I knew who Patroclus was.

Anyway, my point to all this is there are several moments in this new adaptation where a character calls out a trap before they walk into it (like the Medusa's lair or the Lotus Casino) whereas in the book they just kinda walk in even though it seems like they should be a little more genre savvy. I don't think any of these characters are infallible/impossible to trick (even ones like Annabeth who are super smart) but I really get the sense that Rick and the writers were writing with kids like the ones at that camp in mind. Kids who would watch kids walk into an obvious Greek Mythology trap and think ok well I've read the Oddesey, so why haven't they? When Rick wrote the books it was a pre Percy Jackson world. But even my brother who hates to read at least read The Lightning Thief. I feel like they felt that if my brother was savvy to Medusa, they couldn't credibly claim that Annabeth who's been immersed in the culture since she was in single digits wouldn't also be on top of things. There's a sense of almost...audience management if that makes sense.

Maybe something fruity when their older but as of currently Vernon now has two buddies that don’t get tired of hearing his stories or are thrown off by his slow monotone voice because kinda it helps Benny and Dogen pay attention to them

The moment you throw yourself at Flo, he turns and twists you around. Before you know it, he's facing you, holding onto your shoulders. “Why'd you come at me from behind?”

“I was… going to hug you…”

“Oh.” He smiles and pulls you in, crowding you against his wide chest. “Say so next time.”

And and getting to watch him play around with your daughter/son and hearing them squeal and giggle as Eddie just looks completely infatuated with the little person.

He snaps at anyone who tries to mess with them oh and he is SO THE PTA DAD (even if he’s a step dad) and he’s at every sports game or spelling bee or play and he’s that dad that’s like “THATS MY KID” ya know??

n-no because this is so true😭 since he didn’t have a typical upbringing eddie is so empathetic and sympathetic to his step-kid. he’s not going to force them to call him dad unless they want to. he not going to ridicule them for liking something he’s not into. he’s not going to let the seperation of their parents (however it may have happened) get in the way of giving this kiddo absolutely everything they need and deserve.

Eddie’s a bit fumbly a first- not wanting to over step any boundaries so he’s a little reserved. so kiddo is wary of him, maybe thinks he isn’t all that interested in them at first. until one day dropping them off at school, Eddie had their favorite album in the stereo. he does little things to show that’s he’s listening and cares. so maybe kiddo was talking about this club their kind of interested in but the game is super complicated and confusing at first but seems cool. so eddie will talk to you at dinner in front of kiddo about all the good memories of Hellfire and eventually shares the tales of Eddie the Banished and Dustin the Smartass. it breaks the ice indirectly. when kiddo asks if he was into it, he just light ups animatedly, “Hell yeah- it was my thing other than my band. We still get together every week to play, that’s where I sneak off to every friday night. I can show my characters and dice if you want?” Doesn’t pressure them into letting him help, but supports their interests and nurtures them with respect.

sometimes i'll be playing bg3 and wish lunara was a companion because i'd wanna know what she has to say about something or what a romance with her would be like tbh. i love your art btw!

Now that I've been given the green light I'll be annoying

I've seen a lot of people be on the fence about weather the other campers will show up in chaos theory or not and I don't know if I'm delusional but like I can't imagine the show being just ben and darius and the others showing up for an episode or two and then disappearing. After all, based on that trailer, all of them are in danger so it makes sense for them to stick together and try to solve this mystery.

Speaking of mysteries I agree, ben's car does look like the mystery van from scooby doo

There is actually a lot of evidence out there to suggest the other campers are coming back, so I shall break down everything I know...

Two different articles by Collider say:

"-the leader of the group, now has to reunite with his old pals-" "The "Nublar Six" themselves are also in grave danger-" "-Jurassic World: Chaos Theory will follow Darius and his fellow Isla Nublar campers as adults-"

The Portuguese dubbed version of the trailer, thanks @nineratsinatrenchcoat for spotting this, has Ben say, "We need to find Yaz and Kenji", which could mean that they are the first campers to be picked up by Ben and Darius.

The trailer itself has a lot of overlapping scenes, and seem to take place at similar times. My guess is that the trailer is just showcasing the first 2/3 episodes of the season (before they start to pick up the other campers).

The trailer opens with us seeing all the campers as their younger selves, and I can only think that they did this because all the campers are returning.

Raini Rodriguez, Sammy's VA, has been liking Chaos Theory related content on Instagram for a while now, which could suggest her reappearance.

From what we've seen in the trailers, and the articles' suggestive wording and the general consensus of where they plan to take this story, it seems guaranteed that the other campers will return, and not just as cameos, but as prominent characters, even if it takes till the end of the season for them to all reunite again.

I think we will see all the campers separate from each other first in their own mini story before they are picked up by Ben and Darius as the articles suggest that we will see them adjusting to their own new lives.

Does Nico have a CHB necklace? If so what beads are on it?

I believe, as far as I can remember off the top of my head, technically it's inconclusive. He was officially a camper back in Titan's Curse though, before he ran away and became a rogue, and he officially rejoined after Blood of Olympus, but he regularly visited CHB at least once a year during the summer in that time, so he was probably able to pick up camp beads.

So theoretically if he does have a CHB necklace, he'd have a bead for: Battle of the Labyrinth, The Last Olympian, Heroes of Olympus, and Trials of Apollo. So four beads total.

Fun bonus fact, Will Solace is only introduced in The Last Olympian, and can't have joined CHB any earlier than Battle of the Labyrinth given his age and our knowledge of Cabin 7, particularly that none of them were even present in The Titan's Curse and Michael Yew, whom Will succeeded as next oldest (or at least, out of the surviving), only joined CHB in Sea of Monsters, so Will definitely could not have joined any earlier than after The Titan's Curse. And it's honestly very unlikely, given that the only three remaining Apollo kids post-TLO were all 12, (maybe 13 if we push it for Will), that Will even was a camper by the events of BoTL, so he probably just joined a few months before TLO and so would only have three camp beads in comparison to Nico - TLO, HoO, and TOA.

Yeahhhhh any biohazards in the pool results in the pools temporary shutdown. For typical waterparks those pools have to be cleaned and shut down for at least 24 hours, this park can’t really do that with all its traffic so they have a system in place where they can drain all of the water in the pool, sanitize it, then fill it up from a reserve tank (entirely new water).

Thankfully this rarely happens since really young ones have to wear a specific diaper that is provided from the park
