Ego // Sweet Pea (part 2)

thank u for all the love on part 1, never thought that would pop off SKFGHH i suck at writing. also, me being the dumbass i am, realized that at the end of part one i switched from 3rd pov to 1st. SORRY I WAS SO SLEEP DEPRIVED SKFHFHFH which is why this part will be in first person so I dont make that mistake.

recap: Scarlett Calahan’s father died the day she turned 13. she was forced to become a serpent and move to the Northside and attend Riverdale High. she was accused for Jason’s death, and had to watch her best friend Joaquin leave town for good. jughead transfers to Southside High and meets a few familiar people. Scarlett sees sweet pea for the first time during bulldog vs serpents since 8th grade. sees him again at the wyrm and they get in an argument before he kisses her.

part 1

It felt weird. Sweet Pea’s lips on mine. His lips moved fast but passionately against mine, and he was surprisingly gentle for such a violent human being.

Before I could kiss back, he was pulling away. “God damnit, Callahan. Get lost, go find your Northsiders, or whatever. You’re confusing me.” Sweet Pea sighed, leaning against the brick wall.

I wanted to gape, and stare at him, but my ego got the best of me. “Sorry, Sweets. Am I too irresistible?” I asked, pouting and batting my eyelashes.

He flipped me the bird. I just snickered, and started to walk to my bike. “Hey, Callahan.” He called out.

I turned around, waiting to see what he had to say. “Don’t disappear on me again, please.” Sweet Pea said in a casual manner, but I could hear the emotion in his voice.

I sighed, nodding. “Of course, Sweets. Have a good night, tell Jug I said congrats.” I smiled softly, hopping on my bike and driving back to the Andrews’ residence.

“Big day, huh?” I asked Jug once he let me inside the trailer. “You nervous?”

It was the day of Jughead’s final trial. The most painful, by far. Girls didn’t have to do it, and instead did the serpent dance. Since I was so young joining the Serpents, I did not have to do it.

“You could say that.” Jug responded, rushing to get all of his stuff. “We should go outside, they’re supposed to be coming soon.” He continued.

I nodded, following him out the door, surprised when I saw Archie getting ready to knock.

“Archie,” Jug paused, not sure how to tell him that it wasn’t the right time. Archie’s eyes met me, behind Jug and he looked between both of us.

“We’ve gotta talk, Jug.” Archie sighed, looking up at him.

I pursed my lips, walking down the steps to meet Archie. “Now’s not a good time, Arch.” I told him, watching Jughead search for the Serpents anywhere near them. “You need to leave. Like... right now. Go.” I pushed his shoulders, but he didn’t budge.

I cringed when I heard Sweet Pea’s voice. “What the hell do we have here?”

Jughead walked up, while I kept Archie back. “He was just leaving, alright?” Jughead replied, walking to Sweet Pea. The other Serpents showed up behind Sweet Pea.

“Wait,” Archie shook his head and took my hands off his shoulders. “You’re friends with these thugs? You too, Scar?” He scoffed, looking between Jug and I.

I rolled my eyes, sighing. I met eyes with Sweet Pea, and noticed the black eye. Wonder how he got that. But he did look really good, like really, really, really good with that leather jacket and intimidating look on his face. His facial expression didn’t change, so mine didn’t change either. We stared at each other until Archie connected the dots.

“You’re joining the Serpents?” Archie asked in disbelief, squinting his eyes. I clenched my fists, resisting the urge to smack him upside the head. What an idiot.

Sweet Pea looked away from me, and turned his head to Archie. “If he survives,” He shrugged, smirking slightly. “And go ahead, and call us thugs one more time.”

Sweet Pea walked forward, but Jug stopped him. “Jughead, these are the guys who attacked me! And Reggie, and Veronica, and Dilton! Your friends!” Archie reasoned, lying straight through his teeth.

“Look, is that why you came here? To warn him?” I scoffed, stepping up. Archie looked at me, shaking his head. His jaw clenched and he looked back over at Jug.

“No,” Archie replied shortly. “I came here to tell you to stay away from Betty. She doesn’t wanna see you anymore.”

My eyes widened, and I held back a gasp. That was never something Betty would say. Even if it was true, she would never send Archie to break the news. I watched the whole break up fiasco happen, not even noticing I was standing next to Sweet Pea the whole time, our shoulders touching.

“Tell Betty I got the message,” He spat, clenching his jaw.

Archie gulped, and nodded. “Yeah,” He replied, before walking away.

Jughead turned around, tears brimming in his eyes. “What?” He yelled. “Did you enjoy the show?”

Sweet Pea chuckled from next to me, shaking his head. “The show hasn’t even started.”

Later that night, I joined the Serpents to watch Jughead’s final trial. I decided to stay in the dark, so I didn’t have to see Fangs or Toni, or anyone else who decided to hold a grudge on me. I could see Jughead about to walk, and Sweet Pea at the front with Toni next to him.

Sweet Pea was a natural born leader. He had the personality. I did too, though. Maybe if everything didn’t happen, I’d lead everyone. I didn’t want to admit it, but he’s probably doing a better job then I ever would, just causing chaos everywhere.

It was painful, watching Jughead groan in pain every time he was pulled back and hit. When he made it to the end, standing in front of Sweet Pea, I saw the glimmer on Sweet Pea’s fist. He had brass knuckles.

He raised his fist, and in an instant it collided with Jug’s face. He fell right to the ground, and I sucked in a breath. When he got up and shook Sweet Pea’s hand, I sighed, relieved. I got up, and walked forward.

Jug saw me and hugged me. “Good job, Jug. I’m proud of you.” I told him. He smiled at me, the best he could, at least.

“What is she doing here?” I heard Toni ask. I rolled my eyes, pulling away from Jughead.

“Don’t get your panties twisted, Topaz. I’m a serpent too, I have to be here.” I snapped, crossing my arms. Toni scoffed, turning towards me completely. For such a tiny person, she had an intimidating bark. No bite, though.

“You aren’t a serpent just because you wear the jacket and have the tattoo. You see, Scarlett, Serpents are family. We stick together. A Serpent never betrays it’s own.” Toni fumed, stepping closer to me. I didn’t cower, though. “You left us, and you didn’t even give a reason. Didn’t say goodbye... nothing. You broke one of the serpent laws, so you shouldn’t even be a serpent in the first place.”

I tilted my head, consuming my anger. “Look, if I had a choice, I’d still be here. I’d still be going to Southside, I’d still live in the trailer park, I’d still be friends with you guys. But I can’t.” I mumbled, watching her shoulders fall. I looked around, seeing everyone staring at us. I caught eyes with Jughead and he nodded slightly.

“I should go. Congrats, Jug.”

Only a few days later, chaos erupted again. I was in my room, staring up at the ceiling. Sometimes, I just laid here and talked to my dad. Or, tried. It made me feel better though.

Maybe I could’ve hung out with Josie right now, but she briefly mentioned a party some “Nick St. Clair” guy had threw the other night and they all got in trouble for consuming jingle jangle. Idiots, I had thought. At least Betty was smart enough not to take it. Now there was a meeting being held at Betty’s house, right next door. I wanted to go, see what would happen but Fred told me to stay behind.

I sighed, deciding to go get something from Pop’s. I threw on my jacket, only to get a call from Josie telling me Southside High was about to be raided by her mother and Sheriff Keller.

Let’s just say, Sweet Pea and Toni weren’t the only ones arrested that night.

I sat in the student lounge with Kevin and Betty, munching on a bag of hot Cheetos. I watched Archie and Veronica stumble in, making out. I gagged, ready to get up and leave when Principal Weatherbee came over the speaker. Over the past month, I grew closer to Veronica, Betty, and Kevin thanks to Jughead and Archie. Betty learned to like me because she knew I was close to Jug and Archie convinced Kevin and Veronica that I was nothing to worry about. I’m not sure how true that was, though. It did feel nice though to finally fit in, but I still longed for the core 5- me, Fangs, Toni, Sweet Pea, and Joaquin.

“Students of Riverdale High, this is your principal speaking. E-mails have been sent to your parents, but effective immediately, Southside High School is shut down.” Principal Weatherbee’s muffled voice said. My head shot up, and my heart rate increased.

“And its students will be transferred to other schools in the district, - including this one.” Gasps were heard all around the room, and the talking began. I could barely hear Veronica trying to calm the other students down.

When everyone quieted down, Archie sat down. “Wait.. what does that mean?” He asked, looking at everyone.

“It means Jughead’s coming back. It means the Serpents are coming.” Betty replied, seemingly in a trance.

“Are you sure you’re ready for that, Betty? And what about you Scarlett?” Kevin asked, looking between the two of us.

“Of course, Jug and I are fine.” Betty brushed it off, then looked at me and repeated the same question.

I gulped and shrugged. “I wish I could be buried alive right now.” I told them, before getting up and walking off.

The possibilities ran through my brain. Could Toni and I mend our friendship? Would Sweet Pea and I talk about the kiss we’ve ignored since it happened?

The questions kept coming, and it was kind of overwhelming. All I knew is that I was scared shitless for tomorrow though, but I’d never show it. Serpents never cower.

The next day, Archie had to pull me out of bed. Literally. He threw clothes at me, and told me I had to hurry to get ready or else I wouldn't have a ride.

I threw my pillow at him, only for him to throw it back at me. I watched him leave my room and reluctantly got up, looking at the clothes. A red crop top and mom jeans, that I had made my own rips in. It would do, I guess. I threw on the clothes along with a pair of fishnets. I paired it with my Serpent jacket and my precious, scuffed up Doc Martens that I’ve worn everyday since freshman year.

I spent the remainder of my little time to put on some mascara, eyeliner, and lipgloss. If I had to face Sweet Pea today, I would be facing him in style.

When we got to school, Archie made me go to the “registration desk” where Veronica was standing.

“Scarlett, please, help us out. Will you show some of them around? You know them the most, so just take up your old friends and give them a tour.” Veronica pleaded, shaking my forearms. I rolled my eyes. She didn’t understand the guilt I felt and the anger they felt at me.

“You don’t understand, Veronica. They all hate me.” I shook my head, adamant on my decision.

“Gosh, then make them not hate you! You’re charming, Scarlett. I’ll buy you Pop’s!” She smiled, trying to suck up to me. I grumbled, knowing that people always sucked up to me when they wanted me to do something. And damn me for it working every time.

“F-fine. You owe me a lot though, Lodge. I won’t be forgetting about this any time soon.” I narrowed my eyes. I was now going to bring this situation up every time she tried to ask me to do something.

Veronica only gave me a grin before turning to Archie. I sighed, walking to the lockers and leaning against them. Kill me. Kill me now.

Everything I unintentionally avoided for 3 years, was now coming back to bite me in the ass.

My questions from yesterday appeared back in my brain. How would things be with Toni? Toni took it the hardest out of all of them, I think. After all, we were best friends. She was like a sister to me.

And the kiss. Oh, the kiss. I haven't been able to stop thinking about it ever since it happened. I wondered if Sweet Pea felt the same way. I knew we needed to talk about it eventually, but if he felt the same way, that would make the conversation so much easier.

I was beginning to understand people’s confusions about me. I was such a confident, intimidating girl when you first meet me but once you really get to know me, I worry a lot. And by people, I mean Archie and Jughead. They’ve broken down my walls, kind of, and seen how much of a wreck I could be and it “boggled their minds” how I was able to put up such a facade.

By the time I snapped out of my thoughts, I was shocked to see a crowd of black leather jackets. Veronica was speaking about her stupid registration table, but as my eyes trailed over each Serpent, I found a specific raven haired one already looking at me. Sweet Pea and I locked eyes. He didn’t look away, so neither did I. When I raised an eyebrow, a challenge, he just smirked.

My insides turned but my heart slowed a bit. At least it wasn’t that awkward with Sweet Pea. Before I could lock eyes with Toni or Fangs, Veronica was interrupted by Cheryl and Reggie stomping down the stairs. I resisted the urge to clench my fists.

“Stand down, Eva Peron,” Cheryl’s voice rang out loudly, making everyone go silent. I watched Veronica and Archie share a glance.

“Cheryl, no one invited fascist Barbie to the party.” Veronica sighed. Such a Veronica thing to say. I could thing of a million things better to say. Such as, sinking my fist into Cheryl’s face.

“Wrong Veronica, no one invited Southside Scum to our school.” Cheryl retorted, stealing a glance at me, which made me clench my fists. She crossed her arms and turned to the Serpents. “Listen up, ragamuffins. I will not allow Riverdale High’s above average GPA to suffer because of classrooms that are overcrowded with... underachievers.” I caught Josie and Kevin look at each other, speaking with their eyes. “So please, do us all a favor and find some other school to debase with your hardscrabble ways.” She added, a smile on her face.

Toni stepped up, like I expected. “Why don’t you come over here and say that to my face?”

“Happily, Queen of the Buskers!” Cheryl cheerfully replied, stepping closer. Archie left my side and stepped in between them.

“Okay... guys, everyone, can we just put aside our Northside-Southside differences apart and start over?” Archie asked. I scoffed, the attention turning to me.

“Oh how the tables have turned, Red Circle.” I rolled my eyes. I was still furious with Archie about the whole thing. How could he say that when a few weeks ago he was pulling a gun on them?

“Mm, you don’t speak for the Bulldogs, Andrews. And need I remind you, these greaser-snakes showed up at your place trying to kick your ass.” Reggie added on.

Sweet Pea shoved past everyone. “Happy to finish what we started.” He growled, only to be held back by Jughead and Fangs. He and I locked eyes once again. I was the first one to break it when Veronica spoke up.

“God, I am so over the toxic masculinity in this hallway right now.” She scolded, using her hands to express. Principal Weatherbee then showed up, dismissing everyone. Cheryl, Reggie, and their entourage were the first to leave and then the other students, besides the leather-clad people in front of us and the “welcoming” committee.

Weatherbee eyed us all before turning around and heading back to his office. “Okay! You guys will be missing most of your first period for a tour. There are several of us around, please pick who you would like to go with.” Veronica called out, grinning and clapping her hands together.

I had barely any time to process what she said before Sweet Pea was walking over to me. Followed by Fangs and Toni. “Callahan,” Sweet Pea nodded. I smirked at him, looking at the other two trailing behind him.

“Sweets,” I greeted. “Toni, Fangs.”

Before I even finished, Fangs was launching himself at me. He threw his arms around me, hugging me tightly. “I can’t believe you left me with these idiots, alone, for 3 years.” Fangs scoffed. I laughed slightly.

“Me? The idiot? I think I should be saying that to her.” Toni scoffed, looking over at me. We locked eyes, and just from the way she looked at me, I could tell she was going to warm up to me.

“Well, I’m not sure what Veronica said in her speech, I tuned her out. So welcome to the shit show we call Riverdale High.” I sighed, turning around and starting to walk down the hallway. I could hear them trailing behind me.

“Are you kidding? This is the best thing that’s ever happened to us. Computer lab, text books, toilets that flush. You guys have doors on your stalls, right?” Fangs ranted. I nodded and he cheered. I heard Sweet Pea’s slight chuckle as I led them to the Gymnasium.

I’m not exactly a tour guide, so I just showed them what was inside before moving on to the next important places. After that was all over, we stood in the exact same place we started out in.

“So-” I started, only for Toni to cut me off.

“Scarlett, be honest. What’s the real reason you left the Southside?” Toni blurted out, narrowing her eyes at me.

Fangs elbowed her, giving her wide eyes. She obviously wasn’t supposed to bring this up. Sweet Pea didn’t say anything, just stared at me, waiting for an answer.

I swallowed down the lump in my throat and kept up my facade. “I don’t think school is the place to talk about this.” My tone made it clear I didn't want to talk, so I only asked them for their schedules.

“Cool. We all have chemistry first period, so let’s roll.”

It felt like a million years until lunch arrived. I had my first 2 periods with Sweet Pea. Chemistry and English. I was eager to escape his stare. As soon as the lunch bell rang, I was ready to sprint out of my classroom until the teacher held me back.

So, I was in there for another 10 minutes before I sped to the student lounge. I found Sweet Pea, Toni, Fangs, Veronica, Jughead, Kevin, and Josie all there. Jug, Fangs, and Toni were taking up the chairs while Sweet Pea and Kevin were spaced out on the couch.

I pushed past other people to get over there. Sweet Pea was the first to notice me, and once he did, he gestured for me to sit next to him. I was pleasantly surprised, and suppressed a grin.

I dropped my bag, sitting on the arm rest. But Sweet Pea grabbed me and pulled me down to sit right next to him, practically on top of him, and I yelped. Sweets laughed, throwing an arm around the couch behind me. I felt Veronica, Josie, and Kevin’s eyes on me but decided to ignore them.

“Well, as I was saying, I’m Veronica Lodge.” Veronica smiled.

“Of the Park Avenue Lodges,” Jughead added on playfully, and him and I shared a grin.

“Toni. Topaz.” Toni shook Veronica’s hand, feeling slightly uncomfortable when Veronica complimented her name after.

Josie introduced herself and Kevin. Fangs recognized Kevin immediately, from Joaquin. The thought of Joaquin made my heart clench, but I let it go.

“You looked very entertained in English,” Sweet Pea mumbled. I only slightly heard what he said, and even though I wasn't looking at him, I could tell he was smirking. During English, I fell asleep twice. Sweet Pea woke me up once, which surprised me, and the second was by the teacher, hence the holding.

“Not my fault.” “I could argue.”

“Then do it.” I challenged, turning my head to look at him. I raised an eyebrow and he just smirked at me.

“Nahh, too lazy.” He replied, taking a bite out of his apple. I tried to fight off the grin, but it was already there. It felt good, really good, to have Sweet Pea back. It felt just a little bit like the old days.

“You guys!” Weatherbee yelled, startling me. We all looked over, and sure enough, he was looking directly at us. “Yes, you, come with me!”

We all got up, following him out to the hallway where there was a huge snake spray painted on the floor, over the school logo. And, there was a smirking Reggie. Of course.

“Which of you defaced our school seal with this... graffiti?” Weatherbee scoffed, pointing at the poorly drawn snake. His eyes switched between the 5 of us with Serpent jackets on. I rolled my eyes.

“This,” Reggie gestured to the floor. “is what they do, Principal Weatherbee. They tag their turf.” Reggie looked at me and smirked, crossing his arms. A challenge. Hm.

Weatherbee sighed. “Effective immediately. No gang behavior of any kind will be tolerated at my school. As of this moment, no more Serpent jackets.” We all yelled out protests, but his voice overpowered us. “No more Serpent jackets! All tattoos are to be covered. Possession of any gang paraphernalia whatsoever will lead to immediate suspension. Are we clear?”

My blood was boiling. I clenched my fists. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Sweet Pea’s shoulders tense up.

“That’s all.” Weatherbee turned on his heel and walked away.

Everyone else walked away, but I stayed. “You know, Reginald.” I sighed, walking over to him. “I see right through you. Your little act. And for what? You’re afraid someone’s better than you, for once?” I fake pouted. He pursed his lips, crossing his arms.

“Let’s get this straight. I’m better than you. Always have been, always will be. That's why you’ve had it out for me since day 1, huh? I have everything you don’t. Looks, personality, class, courage, I could go on. You’re just a coward.” I spat. “How would everyone feel knowing you were scared shitless and just a centimeter away from losing your spot on the basketball team, huh?” I smirked.

He turned around and walked away, leaving me standing there, smirking. Then, I turned back around and walked to the student lounge.

Later on, after school, I was surprised when I found myself at the White Wyrm with Jughead, Toni, and Sweet Pea. I was sitting on the counter, playing with the straw on my drink, while Jughead sat next to me. Toni was sitting on a stool and Sweet Pea was playing an arcade game.

I didn't bother listening to Jughead’s conspiracies. I was off in my own world, blanked out.

“So, are you going to tell us?” Toni nudged me, bringing me out of my daze.

“Tell you what?” I asked, noticing Sweet Pea stop playing his game and turn around.

“Why you left.”

I gulped, squeezing my eyes shut. You knew this was going to happen. Just come out and say it. They won’t hate you, will they?

Stop being a pussy and just say it.

“Um, before I say anything, just please know, none of this was my choice.” I sighed, avoiding Sweet Pea and Toni’s eyes. I looked over at Jughead and he nodded.

“It was just after my 13th birthday party. I got home after the surprise party at the Wyrm, and my dad was dead on the floor, 3 bullets in his stomach.” I reminisced, the image still fresh in my mind. I don’t think I could ever get rid of it.

“I didn’t know what to do, except for call FP. He came over immediately, and as if he already knew this was going to happen, he went to my dad’s closet and dug out a letter, for me. He told me in the letter that he wanted me to go through the Serpent initiation, and as soon as I became an official serpent, that I had to move in with Fred Andrews and start going to Riverdale High because he was no longer in the Southside to protect me from the Ghoulies, the ones that killed him. He told me he didn't want me to have as much contact with you guys anymore, so I obeyed.” I finished, playing with my fingers.

“I thought your dad had alzheimers.” Toni called out. I shook my head.

“That’s what we told everyone, so everything wouldn’t go up in flames with the Ghoulies.” I shrugged, swallowing another lump in my throat.

“So... we were mad at you all these years for nothing?” Sweet Pea asked.

“Not for nothing. I’d be mad too if I were you guys. I just hope you forgive me.” I mumbled, still feeling pretty sheepish.

Less than a second later, Toni’s arms were around me. I hugged back, missing the feeling. It felt nice to have my best friends back. When she pulled away, she smiled at me. I looked over at Sweet Pea and he gave me a small smile.

The next day, it took a while to find an outfit to wear without my leather jacket. Since my tattoo was on my shoulder, it wasn’t that hard to find a shirt that would cover it. I chose a snake print skirt and a black crop top. Serpents can dress nice too, sometimes. Of course, I still decided to wear my boots.

When I got to school, I went to the lounge, where I knew at least a few people would be. Walking through the doors, I immediately noticed Reggie and a few other bulldogs. I rolled my eyes. Great. But further into the room, I saw Fangs, Toni, and Sweet Pea.

I walked over, cautiously. Fangs saw me and gave me a smile.

“We filled him in,” Toni commented. I gave her a smile and nodded, looking over at Fangs.

“Sorry, that we all assumed. Even though I wasn’t even mad at you.” He winked, making me laugh.

“Um, sorry about the whole thing with Reggie. He wasn’t like this before, I swear.” I sighed, looking at Reggie over my shoulder. He was already looking over at us with a menacing glare.

“A bulldog with a lot of bark but no bite. A lot of those around here, huh?” Sweet Pea deadpanned. I looked over at him, shrugging. “Yeah.”

“Oh my god,” Toni mumbled. Our heads snapped to her only to find her looking at the door. I turned around, seeing Jughead walking in.

It took me a few seconds, but then I realized he was wearing his jacket. And Reggie looked ready to kill. “Oh, hey guys. What’s up?” Jug asked, looking over at Reggie then to us. We all watched carefully as he walked over to the vending machine calmly.

“Take it off.” Reggie said simply. Our heads snapped back to him. Jughead froze, and Reggie got up. Sweet Pea and Fangs stood too, ready to intervene.

We all walked over. “Take off that jacket, rat boy.” Reggie repeated. I grabbed Sweet Pea’s wrist, stopping him from going any further. He looked at me and I gave him a glance before looking at Jughead, who sighed. This was going to get bad, fast. But I wanted to see what Jughead was going to do first.

“Oh, Reggie.” Jug smirked. “I don’t think you know what this jacket means. Because you have no sense of honor. Or history, or loyalty.” Jughead was cut off by Reggie shoving him, and I let go of Sweet Pea’s wrist. Him and Fangs immediately ran over as a fight broke out. I took a step forward, but Toni grabbed my hand and made me stand next to her as we watched.

“He’s so hot when he’s angry.” I murmured, my eyes following Sweet Pea. I could see Toni’s smirk out of the corner of my eye.

“Sweet Pea told Fangs about the kiss. Who told me. I expected it, anyways.” Toni added. I looked over at her. “Girl, his mind has been on you since the day you left. He’s so in love with you.”

I looked back over at Sweet Pea, who had the upper hand on one of the 3 bulldogs. I decided not to say anything.

I heard Veronica’s voice before I saw her, then she was calling out to Weatherbee. I rolled my eyes.

“Here we go,” I groaned, and then we were in the principal’s office.

I was sat in between Sweet Pea and Reggie. I was sitting as close as I could to Sweets. I was afraid if I was even an inch closer to Reggie, I’d catch a disease.

“You all have a week’s detention for fighting.” Weatherbee decided. I clenched my fists, looking over at Sweet Pea who looked just as annoyed as I did. Weatherbee then walked over to Jughead, who was against the wall. “But I made myself clear to you, Mr. Jones. Take off that jacket right now, or you’re suspended.” I watched Jughead carefully. I knew he had no intentions of wavering, so I wasn't surprised when he walked out. Reggie nodded, not surprised either.

Then, Weatherbee pulled out those ugly, Riverdale uniforms. Here we go again.

part 3 will most likely start at the end of 2x10 with the club. this part was way less hype then I wanted it to be because of all the stuff I lost when I was stupid and forgot to save the draft! if I wasnt so stupid you’d be getting a detailed Southside raid where Scarlett gets arrested with sweets, fangs, and toni, and the drag race! part 3 will be better im sure of it and there will be more sweets and Scarlett

BNHA AU Ideas: Power Transfer

TL;DR:

One for all is a power that has been passed down for generations. Turns out the most recent generation can afford to be a whole lot more liberal with his sharing. Also turns out sharing quirks runs in the family.

An AU where Izuku can share OFA full cowling with multiple people at once.

izuku giving aizawa 5% of one for all durring the usj or izuku giving toshinori 99% of OFA durring the last fight

cause consider the world never finding out about small might, all might retires but izuku knows

the rescue team all having the max amount of ofa they can use, which is around 2% each, cause a lil sparking team of heroes

izuku using kirishima to give bakugo some too n them using it to get away

izuku having two quirks is my favourite goddamn thing bc him being able to share his quirk but not having anything to share is great

he gives bits to allmight, like a constant 1% so he can teach classes and do press stuff

some rando wants to do an "all might" where is he now segment and it spans a good few months so izuku is continuously in the background just

conspiracy theory starts that izuku is a villain or allmights son

a villain and all might's son

izuku has no double toe joint but the doc cant find any evidence of a quirk? so he tells them izuku is either quirkless or has an invisible quirk. something subtle, or specific enough to have not activated by now

bakugo kinda,, is chill with izuku. he was waiting for izuku to develop a quirk till he judged him, but he never did so he kinda withheld judgement long enough for them to become decent friends

anyway, izuku likes to ramble about different things his quirk could technically be, bakugo likes to join in. they can go at this for h o u r s cackling about stupid hypotheticals

they workout together, they both do boxing and try out random moves they see on the internet on each other. they have a pile of gym mats in the woods like the weirdos they are

bakugo is like,, convinced izuku's quirk is actually an intellect up but he just shrugs

izuku has to grab something before he heads home so he takes the underpass and we get basically episode 1 from there. all might says no, the villain gets away, attacks Bakugo. izuku runs in, throws dust in the villain's eyes and pulls at bakugo's hands. all might jumps in, saves the day yada yada

some background for u about all might bc his past is a touch different here. during the battle with afo, afo was distracted. all might sustained the same injures but won more easily.

night eye never looks into his future because "my purpose is done, nighteye. let's live like everyone else, no fate of the world on our shoulders" he never looks into all mights future again at his request

they stay together

so instead of the big argument they go get ramen and get drunk because they don't have to be superhuman anymore, they can relax now

back to the main timeline-

so izuku is already fit, cleans the beach in 8 months, nighteye supervises

all might gives izuku the quirk 2 months before the entrance exam, nighteye is there to "oversee" (he wants to see izuku choke on a hair and laugh at this kid hes become pretty fond of)

also mirio! is izuku's bro because i love he

izuku eats the hair and gets the quirk like, instantly which?? is confusing nighteye and all might. nighteye has like,,, hidden behind a car because hes the only person with self-preservation

allmight touches izuku and the lightning climbs up his arm and he just pOofs out into swolmight. hes ShooK, so is izuku

anyway, he manages to turn it off and izuku is just standing there like "oh my god what the fuck"

"nighteye come over here."

nighteye is forcibly given a little of ofa and regrets a lot of stuff

anyway, izuku breaks an arm trying to use ofa and hes muttering trying to work out how to use it, nighteye basically says "well, think back to how ofa came about" and izuku is like ",,, what"

and nighteye screams because TOSHI YOU DIDNT TELL HIM?????? and allmight ",,, o o p s"

so izuku gets to hear the story of all for one while hes being driven to UA for recovery girl hes,,, really quiet for a second

"when did you fight him?"

"six years ago, april?"

",,, this has to be a coincidence"

hisashi went out on a "business trip" 6 years ago and they haven't seen him since. he calls, but hes never visited and izuku has this terrible feeling

because izuku cant calm down and because nighteye thinks this kid might be on to something they call tsukauchi and he agrees to meet them at UA

izuku gets treated, naomasa is in v quickly afterwards before he calls his dad he turns to nighteye, allmight and Naomasa

"i've never been able to lie to my dad. i thought he was just really good at reading me but,,"

"if hes afo he might have a quirk"

"yeah. so i'll just twist the truth. im good at that, but thats all i'll be able to do"

anyway, he calls up his dad and slaps this big grin on his face. the phone is on speaker

"hey dad!!!!" "izuku! is something wrong?"

"oi, cant i call my dad for no reason?"

"you, willingly calling someone? dont make me laugh"

izuku giggles despite himself

"anyway, you'll never guess!!"

"did youuuu,,,, hmmmm, meet all might?"

they freeze but izuku just laughs

"yeah,, but thats not the most exciting thing!!! my quirk came in finally"

"oh?"

"yeah! imagine the worlds most basic power enhancer, but i can share the energy! you have any idea where that could have come from?"

"no! i can't think of anyone in our family with a quirk like that! sounds crazy!"

naomasa looks grin, and mouths "liar"

izuku pales but keeps his smile

"do you think you could visit, id love to show you!! oh, maybe we could test it together! you always had the best ideas for my quirk notes"

"id love to izuku, but im stuck in america for the near future, you know it is. i'll see what i can do tho, ok champ?"

naomasa shakes his head again "lying" izuku looks like hes going to be sick. nighteye is pale, all might looks stunned. izuku grits his teeth but his voice is still light and happy

"i'm gonna make it into UA so you can watch me kick butt from america! you better cheer me on!"

"im looking forward to it. say hi to your mother from me."

naomasa nods. hes telling the truth. that makes nighteye feel the sickest

",,, love you too dad"

izuku hangs up the phone and retches into the bin. nighteye is shaking. all might storms out. naomasa punches the wall

izuku looks up with tears in his eyes

",,, does my mum know?"

nighteye wants to cry

izuku tells katuski that his quirk finally came in! but,,, in the worlds biggest mess of a way

basically hes lying in bed, trying to work out why he can't use it without breaking bones but the people he shares it with can, he bolts upright

"POWER MODULATION OH MY GOD"

he runs out his door all the way to bakugos house and climbs in through his window, grabbing a sleeping bakugo by the shoulders

"KACCHAN ITS POWER MODULATION"

"my quirk!!! i was breaking bones because i wasnt modulating it!!!"

mitsuki runs in with a frying pan ready to murder a villain but its just izuku

izuku doesnt tell him its ofa but he explains his quirk has finally showed up, bakugo asks him if hes registered it yet

"wait what? you, breaking the law? mister "i cant kill an ant because all might himself will call me a villain""

izuku, w the most shit-eating grin, explains that you only legaly have to register your quirk when it shows up, or after you are tested when you are five, whichever happens first so, legally, he doesnt need to register because it would be seen as voluntary updating

cut to the enterance exam

aizawa is holding the papers for the kids hes observing right then

"quirkless? that kid doesn't look quirkless"

and yagi sighs

"of course he didnt,,,"

basically, quirk test? shinsou is s w e a t i n g bakugo looks a little worried for his new friend but no one would notice if they weren’t izuku

shinsou turns to him like "my quirk is mental im going to fa I L"

izuku grabs his hand and he feels this rush of energy, you can almost see it dancing along his skin. izuku grins

"i think you'll find you do just fine"

(izuku gave him like,, less than a full 1% but hes like doubled in strength and speed and hes??? shook?? bc whats happening)

aizawa is lost bc shinso has a mental quirk he shouldnt be doing this well, so he tries to cancel it

nothing happens and aizawa is so lost??? bc shinsou is kinda reedy and not super fit but hes placing solidly in the middle

and he noticing that shinso’s eyes seem to be glowing and so are they eyes of the kid coming in second and gives a big "hm,mmmm"

anyway, ball pitch, he cancels izukus quirk and turns to look at shinso, his eyes are dim. izuku looks sheepish but also like hes ready to throw down and its an interesting look

aizawa just sighs "you know what? just throw the ball."

izuku g r i n s and yeets it into next year using more of his quirk than he like,, really should have? to prove a point (his finger is bruised, not broken. he used 25%)

anyway aizawa shows the results, shinso is in the middle, izuku second, hagakure is last and sadly shes not getting expelled bc plot reasons – im sorry I have a thing against her shes perfectly valid probably im just still convinced shes the traitor even tho its totally a teacher

he calls izuku out on it but does admit he didnt say you couldnt help eachother, so its kind on him. shinso looks like hes going to pass out with relief

Hagekure is the traitor in this au though, 100%

during the camp she is at the pick up zone, hiding. izuku pulls bakugo out of the way, they all seem safe

but

she pushes izuku in through the portal as it closes

fyi afo takes her quirk and leaves her braindead in the nomu factory bc shes not useful anymore. also because now he needs to have a really awkward conversation with his son he was hoping to avoid

also usj? is really melodramatic

he gives aizawa 4% which is the max nighteye could hold without it hurting

aizawa takes a hit from the nomu and he reaches out his hand

izuku cries as he gives him an extra 4% and aizawa gets free but he can see bruises forming with every step his teacher takes

Name: Jeremy F McCormick | Gender: Male | Age: 21 or 30s at the very least | Height: 5'1" | Species/Race: Technically speaking, he's a werewolf but he dont know that | Eye Color: Seafoam (his eye color when in werewolf form is a bright Turquoise color) | Hair Color: His hair is dyed a light pastel blue color | Appearance: He usually wears a lot of long sleeved clothes, sweaters, hoodies, etc- So long as it covers his body up, he usually likes light colored or light pastel types of clothing tbh, dark colors just do NOT fit with this man at all, he never wears ANY clothing that reveals skin, not even any shorts, its always sweaters, hoodies, pants, etc- He has MANY scars on his body and its scary to him how he doesn't even remember getting into any accidents or whatever to cause such ghastly marks, he also has a circle beard- (never gonna stop giving my lads a short boxed beard or circle beard, n o p e!) In his werewolf form however, he's 8ft tall for starters- wow he gets to be a big boy! His fur is pitch black along with his claws, he has rows of sharp and jagged yellow teeth, the only part of his fur that isn't pitch black would be on top of his head, the dye of the light pastel blue color somehow transferred into this form (its for a specific reason, just gonna say that rn), his tail be THICC AND F L O O F Y, big thicc floofy tail! | Personality: He's actually very sweet, friendly, and outgoing- He likes being outdoors more than indoors most of the time, however whenever he's indoors, he's either hard at work writing or drawing some stuff, or sometimes if he feels like it he'll listen to some music, he likes a lot of classical music, or just.. Soft, calming music in general, nothing heavy metal, rock, etc wise- Songs like that are usually too loud for him, classical and soft music in general helps him write and draw more so than that would anyways, even despite his age he still lives with his father who is also a doctor/scientist (tl;dr: Sweet, friendly, kind, very outgoing, LOVES to write and draw a lot, loves to listen to said music up above and honestly REALLY loves the outdoors) | Side Facts: He doesn't know that he's a werewolf, like, at all- He DOES remember one thing, he was out at night, on a night with a full moon of course, he had ran out to get something for his father however, while he was traversing through the woods, something had suddenly pounced on him, he remembers feeling excruciating pain, he remembers being bitten and scratched by some... wolf, he thinks it was a wolf considering it had a wolf's face from what he could see, he managed to shove it off and he made a beeline for he and his father's cabin, despite feeling faint from the blood loss, once he got into the cabin he immediately passed out. The next thing he remembered was waking up, his wounds were patched and treated and his father was sitting there, looking so worried, he immediately jumped into the questions when his son awoke, for starters asking what happened, of course Jeremy told his father a wolf had attacked him, which, wasn't TOO terribly odd since it IS a forest-like area their near, after awhile, the father noticed some... strange things his son began doing, strange behaviors, and then one night, full moon, again... He noticed his son... transforming into something... He... Now of course, he had at first thought it was just a dream but once he saw his son transformed into a werewolf, he really had no time to do anything. His son had pounced on him and for a moment he was afraid he was going to die, he tried to communicate with i- .... Him, the werewolf wasn't a beast, a monster, nothing like that to him, it was STILL his son, regardless man or werewolf, he... still loved his son (p much the situation went like this "S-Son... I...It's me, its da....its daddy, you remember dad don't you? C'mon Jer-Jer, your still in there... I know it" which prompted his son to stare at him for a second, he must've recognized s o m e t h i n g, his father could see that look in his eyes, however before he could even say anything else, his son busted out the window and ran into the night) Now, his son... HAS done terrible things in his werewolf form, unfortunately... Every time his son's come back, he either has blood and stuff all over him, or some nasty scars on his own body, bullet wounds it would appear... He's been shot several times in werewolf form, his father was just thankful it wasn't a silver bullet or any of that shit, he doesn't want to lose his son... He just- he can't even if his son IS a werewolf, he is grateful that his son is at least still able to recognize him even in this form, however, he knows he can't contain him... He's tried to stop him from going out at night but it never works, he always breaks free or the meat just, only distracts him for a bit. He hates that, his son always seems so worried about his body, every time he found a new scar, his father had always made up some lie to cover it up, he just can't bring himself to tell his son he's a werewolf, he doesn't want his son to break down and that's what he KNOWS would happen if he were to tell him, Jeremy would NEVER hurt a fly, especially not for any malicious intent, the father spends countless hours, desperately trying to find a cure for his son, he will NEVER give up searching, he just... he just wants to help his son, he just wants to cure him of this and then he won't have to worry about the town/village coming after him, they can NEVER find out... And neither can Jeremy himself. eh this is good enough for now, I had more shit to say but its fine for now

Oh yeah, this is written based on miss Desirée’s blurb on @nctream (she is like the most amazing babe you should check her out and shower her with love and support she also loves meme isnt she’s just perfect uwuuuu)

“I’ll do the dishes. It’s your turn to put Her Majesty Princess Jung of the Southern Isles to bed.”

Jaehyun gave you his dimply smile as your daughter mimicked the same gesture. They got up from the dining seats as soon as you left to put on your apron and rubber gloves. Jaehyun collected their plates and put them in the sink. He wishpered I love you into your ear as he stroked your side before he left to carry the girl in a pair of banana pajama in his left arm and leaving the other free to hold a fluffy stuffed animal.

“I’m not a princess anymore, Mama. I’m an astronout!” Missy exclaimed, head rested on her father’s broad chest.

“What? I’m sure you were a princess this morning.” You turned around to them with your ‘shocked’ face. “Where is my princess now?”

“I want to find a moon bunny Papa told me!” You laughed and nodded, raising both your hands as a sign that you were defeated.

Jaehyun kissed the tip of her head, “Alright baby girl, time to sleep. Let’s give Mama some goodnight kisses.”

You held up your chin. They walked closer toward you and smooched your cheeks at the same time. “Nighties Mama.” She waved you her small hand as they strolled away to the staircase. “Good night, sweet pumpkin.”

You got back to your chores. Letting the tap water soaked the dishes before you brushed them one by one with a soaped sponge. Taking your time with the activity, you let your mind wandered around what had been going on so far today. You got up first in the morning, woke Jaehyun up and made him check on Missy in her room next to yours. They did joined you minutes after you were done making Jaehyun’s morning coffee and the three of you had breakfast; some toasted whole wheat breads, sunny side ups and baked beans. And of course you prepared lunch box for your little now-an-astronout princess. Then you did took a quick shower before you left the house for work.

It was routine you wouldn’t miss for the whole world.

On the other side, things at work were just demanding more and more of your attention. You worked for a renowned law firm as a senior lawyer. Your master degree indeed earned with real passion and talent. The job paid you real good money, but it also paid you cruel amount of pain in your head at times like this.

A fresh graduated intern who were chosen to assist you for the next quarter year decided to shoved half of your Attorney-Client Privilege papers you had been working on for couple weeks down the shredder. Not to mention how he messed up a joint representation meeting that afternoon. You knew you shouldn’t had blame him so much because he was an intern after all, and interns tend to make mistakes as they learn and grow from experience. But you couldn’t help comparing him to you; a perfectionist worker, barely made any mistake at work.

And to avoid all the problems happening at work, you decided to came home early (you knew it was rather cowardly, but better than to channel your anger there and cause a ruckus). So you chosed to relaxed a bit by cooking dinner, took a bubble bath with Missy (which you hadn’t done for a long while), and actually sent the nanny home early.

Jaehyun was surprised when he saw you were home before him. But it was only for a moment until you had your meals together with laughters shared throughout the good hour spent in the dining room.

Missy told you how she painted a really big frog for her art class at the pre-school, and how her friends envied her for having a cutely arranged lunch box. She told you about her trips to school with Jaehyun as he took her there every morning. And it made you feel guilty.

You knew it had been both you and Jaehyun’s desicion to take turn to do everything involving Missy. But lately you felt Jaehyun was the one to do it all. You thought you got so busy with works and it made you grew apart from your task as a mother.

There were nights when projects and works got the best of you, so you didn’t got to spend them with your little family at home. Yes you prepared breakfast for them, you guys had small talk in the morning before all of you off to your own activities, but at night when you were home you had your daughter already asleep in her room.

Jaehyun might spared you hours to talk through the night or for your marriage intimacy, wishpering to your skin that it was okay for him to wait for you. But some nights were just too tiring for both of you to do anything and just slept on your side of the bed. It might not be every single night you came home late, but the idea of your little one forgetting how you put her to bed or sing her lullaby or simply being with her broke you a little inside.

You knew Jaehyun could sense your worries, that was why he kept sending you a soothing gaze across the dining table previously.

Jaehyun was a good—no, good is an understatement. He was a perfect husband. Screw those who said no one is perfect, you had one as your partner for more than five years and you knew, you knew no other word than perfect could fairly described him. Before you met him, you thought no other guy could ever compete with your work ethic. You lived long enough in a belief that no man would want a workaholic woman as a lifetime partner. But then Jaehyun came along.

You met Jung Jaehyun at your last year of internship at some attorney corporation party, and he was still a doctor in the making at that time. Your senior at your law school introduced you to him, a future town’s best cardiothoracic surgeon.

Long short story, he made you fall in love with him. And so he did head over heels in love with you. He was, you could say, like no one else. He was able made you realized that there was nothing to compete about if you love each other. He changed your long-believed belief that a workaholic just need an understanding partner. Like he understood every situation you had, like he was always know when you didn’t feel best. There was no time when he wasn’t there for you when you needed him. He was the one who make your worst day worth living.

Oh, how you would never take him for granted.

And it bugged you a lot that you thought you were the one who couln’t keep up with him now. Did Jaehyun really deserve a wife like you?

A pair of arms slinked around your waist brought you back to reality, turned out you had already finished washing the dishes. Jaehyun kissed your nape softly as you giggled. “You surprised me, Jae.”

“You didn’t hear me coming around?” You hummed and shook your head as you took off the gloves and Jaehyun did you a favor by untying the apron’s string. “Thinking about something else?”

You didn’t answer, instead, you spinned around and latched your arms around Jaehyun’s neck. His brown eyes stared down at yours, equally warm. He brought his lips closer and halted when they hovered milimiters above your lips, smiling as he rubbeb the tip of his nose to yours.

“It was just stuff at the office, nothing big.” You gripped the end of his hair. “How was your day at the hospital?”

“There was a transferred patient from a neighbor hospital. He needed a transfussion they couldn’t provide so we took over,” Jaehyun blew you a sweet kiss. “Nothing major.”

“No big surgery you have to perform?”

“One on Tuesday, I’m gonna lead an aneurysm repair. Other than that one are just CABGs. I’ll supervise the residents,” You smiled to his neck, blowing hot breath as you kissed it slowly. “You wanna talk about it in the shower?”

“Mm-mm, I had a bath with our baby already.”

“Oh right,” Jaehyun let out a chuckle. “Missy did mentioned how you guys took bubble bath together today,” He kissed you gently, you smiled between the kiss. “None of my girls bother inviting me to a bubble bath party anymore.”

You broke away, a grin plastered on your face. “Sorry, I didn’t know I’d be home so early.” You dragged your fingers through his hairs, kissing him back in the same manner as before. You leaned back, resting your tailbone to the cold sink.

“Things happened at work?”

Jeahyun regretted asking you that question because a second later, you broke the kiss away. This time you even pulled your arms from his neck, fingers drew straight lines down his ocean wide shoulders. No words spoken between the two of you during that roughly fifteen seconds moment. Jaehyun watched you closely as you started to open your mouth to speak. “You can talk to me...”

You inhaled, “Do you think I’m a bad mother?”

“And how did you get that silly idea?” Jaehyun frowned. Although his words are lighter, his expression held a deep concern.

You groaned out of frustration, still in your husband’s embrace. “I know we’ve talked about this. And I know you would never not support me nor go against me upon my decision to work after having Missy.

“But I can’t help feeling like a bad mother. I worked my whole damn days instead of being in the middle of you guys.” You sobbed, Jaehyun drew soothing infinity circles on your back. “I know I still go to every parent-teacher conferences, I know I made her breakfast and lunch for her and you. But I don’t want to grow apart from our baby, from you. From our family.

“But things are just, I dont know Jaehyun, messy? I feel so bad for not being there for you when you got home from work most nights. everyone listed is from a made up oregon beach town called Mystic Overhang infamous for its creepy bottomless lakes and a cliff that leans over the pacific called Mystic Overhang. the town is full of mysterious happenings and unexplained missing persons and something downright evil is going on under their noses..but more on that another time ha ha. the story takes place in 1989. and i just realized this is basically just IT but i didn’t exactly mean for that…they definitely are not plagued by a killer clown.

Church Shelton (my oc) is 17/18. His mom had him too young and didn’t want to have to raised him, frankly, so she ended up leaving him on the stairs of a synagogue. His biological family is Jewish even though Church doesn’t grow up with religion and didn’t even know he was Jewish, because Josiah (Jo), tristan’s oc, was about 2 years old when he and his mom came by and saw a baby crying on the steps and the boy wanted to keep him and name him Church because he thought it was a regular christian church and… it’s cute. And through a ton of convincing and considerations, his mom agrees to care for Church and adopt him. Its a simplistic way of putting it, but there’s a lot that goes into it. He and Jo grow up as brothers and Jo takes such good care of him (: sometimes he has to be a parent to Church even though he’s only two years older, especially when their mom gets UHHH murdered during a robbery in their own house… ……….and they come home and find her at about 12 and 10 years old and Jo makes the decision that they’re not going to tell anyone and risk him living with his father and Church being placed in foster care. so they run away and become street kids for 4 years. When they’re older, 14 and 16, they get caught for stealing when they weren’t careful enough and the social workers put them in foster care, seeing as Jo’s dad is very unfit. They stay there until Jo aged out at 18 and got guardianship of Church after getting them a place to live, that’s a long complex process as well… and was obligated to care for him and provide income and stuff and they live together, just them two in a trailer, for awhile.

Church’s whole thing is that he loves to read and write. He reads so many books and he’s not great at first and is in remedial classes, but then he advances a shit ton with how hard he tries and how much he wants his love for English to succeed. Uh he has narcolepsy!!! Meaning he has a lot of daytime sleepiness, falls asleep frequently in the day and has bad insomnia at night and this hinders him a lot. In some cases his narcolepsy comes with cataplexy, this is when he has muscle weakness/paralysis caused by strong emotion like excitement and laugher. His brother Jo helps him a lot through that. I theorize that it happened because of a natural immune issue he has, which was most prevalent when they were living on the streets.

Church is really funny and sweet and sarcastic. He’s such a cute boy and everyone in their town LOVES him just cause he’s so charming. he gets really cynical and depressed sometimes and can be mean when he wants to be, however and it’s his biggest downfall. He’s a bit of pyro he loves to set shit on fire. Oh, and he has a southern accent (: he loves to eat too, he’s always down for snacks. He’s bisexual but he doesn’t really call it that, he doesn’t take much note of his own sexuality, he does what he does. He works at an amusement park most of the time and has to put up with Jo constantly coming to his work when he gets lonely and riding the roller coaster he’s operating. Then when he graduates he goes to University of Oregon and has a bit of a big depressive self destructive path he follows and ends up overdosing on drugs on what of his partying nights, he self harms by being uncaring and his many intrusive thoughts about his mother dying and his huge fear of not seeing the world and being too dumb and poor to get an opportunity to really live. He’s put in the hospital and goes to rehab and Jo is there with him every step of the way. He’s so sweet and caring and worries about him but Church is a little belligerent sometimes. He wants to get better and be better for everyone and himself, and he does through a long emotional school break. He doesn’t end up going to his previous college again but he transfers and gets in the Columbia in new york for his English degree (: he lives in an apartment with his boyfriend Mason.

Church is white, 5′7 and he’s stout and chubby. He’s got green eyes, freckles, a piggy nose, big sunburnt cheeks, and auburn hair, mostly shaved into a curly mohawk. and he got a fat ass and killer thighs.

His beautiful big dumb brother Jo Shelton (tristan’s oc) has a story that is obviously parallel to church’s, but i think it’s important to mention that he’s kinda slow, slow thinkin’ and a bit hyper…and an asshole to everyone but the ones he really loves like church, he’s as sweet as he can be with him. he loves working on cars and he has a beautiful truck that he put a lot of work into..that is until he crashed it horribly while drunk driving after he got into a fight with church when church was in the hospital recovering from his overdose. and he got mild temporary brain damage… so…and then had to spend 6 months in jail for a DUI. that really fuck him up for a good while! and that’s a huge dent in their lives.

but anyway lol… he also loves to meet chicks and do speed dating.. and he hooks up with a wide variety of girls, he’s not picky at all and doesn’t believe in types, he just loves dominant women. he does have one important stable girlfriend for awhile named Rosa that he met at his grocery store job! he spilled spaghetti sauce on her white shoes (: and they were truly in love and dated for 3 years until it became dangerous for her to be with him because one of her weird ass fuckinnnn dangerous ex boyfriends got out of prison and she didnt think he would be safe if they remained together and it’s devastating for him and hinder him for a good while. he kinda fills that void by becoming a big brother figure to church’s biological sister Jude, who is 12 and in need of good old fashion josiah guidance. jo has that natural dumb dad vibe to him. (by the way..church’s mother reenters church’s life very briefly and that’s why jude and church meet and jude eventually lives locally to the boys because she moves in with Her real dad.) Later jo works at a mechanic shop and his ultimate goal is to open his own! uh also haha important detail..jo struggles with his sexuality and on the low meets up with dudes in alleys and lets them smash cause he’s a big bottom so. and he has sorta of thing for someone he met in the mess of foster care, just one of the kids he hung out with in passing, and his names Riley and they meet up later on when they’re older and fuck around a bit.

jo is 6′3 and he has golden honey hair and blue eyes and he’s freckly and has some beauty marks on his face. he’s pretty darn hairy..and he kinda smells. he’s a real country bo. he’s super skinny and hes got huuuge hands!

Mason Uley (mine), Church’s boyfriend, doesn’t meet church until he’s 22 and Mason is 13, and is a rich boy who’s siblings all died in one way or another…JDBSJD he’s the only child left and he is very neglected by his parents because of their coldness and grief and little regard for caring for their last kid. They’re never home and they ignore him completely which leaves him in search for attention in all sorts of wrong ways and he acts out. He does motocross at the local track. He loves rap music and is very embarrassing about it considering he’s very white..he loves flexin’ with that name brand clothing and shoes and wears skate shirts even though he doesnt skate which is a big smelly whatever but in general he’s a big poser. but its fine because we love him and its apart of his charm. He has a slight limp because at 13 he shattered his ankle and it never healed right. He loves Church very much and they’re SUPERR gross and lovey, their dynamic is so adorable, as you can imagine his goofy ass and church’s more dry sarcasm. He wants to be an architect and goes to college for that at Columbia later. He’s smart and has a very dry kind of humor and he hates Jo until he’s forced not to because of their mutual love for Church. He’s 1000% gay. He has blond hair and he looks like a 90s heart throb and Jo affectionately calls him “faggot” more than his name.

Okay……….. and then there’s Lewis. he’s 18. His full name is Aloysius St. Lawrence (AL oh wish iss) (mine), and he grew up in a deeply religious cult in northern California where many Horrible things happened to him that I’ll spare the details on but he’s a very traumatized boy and i thinkg about the complexity of him trying to come to grips with it and learning how to live with the immense pain he was dealt with! so. it’s really fun.

he was born with a sorta Purpose, his dads family started this commune, and the dad wasnt at fault, he’s not malicious he’s really sweet and a bit slow and is often mistreated, he’s forced to have relations with lewis’ mom, who was sort of a nomadic runaway girl perfect for procreation after she got caught in the entanglement of this commune business in california. theyre both really young when they have lewis and his twin sister, lewis being prime because he’s the Male. lewis grew up believing all kids in the commune were his siblings and so he never realized the one girl he’d see all the time was his biological sister. so bascially they take lewis from the mom, say he’s not only her child but the communities child, just how it is with all kids, and she betrays the commune in a way i havent figured out and goes beserk because obviously everyone there is insane and shes exiled and lewis, all the while has no idea shes his mother. so great childhood… full of hard labor and sleeping in a room with rows of beds and dreaming about a woman and not knowing why, not knowing its because shes your mom (: haha

In 6th grade he’s finally allowed to go to a school with other boys because before this he was homeschooled and his world was reduced to the confinements of his commune. He goes to a spooky and prestigious boarding school in southern Oregon and wears a uniform. The place is really huge and brick and creepy but it feels like paradise with this freedom he finally gets to some extent and he’s learning how to function as a regular boy, although he finds it kind of impossible.

CHRIS!!!!! Is his roommate at this boarding school in 6th grade. Chris is a very goofy lovesick boy who believes heavily in the energies of the earth and charging his crystals his hippie mother gave him and he paints his nails black and pushes the rules of the dress code every single day and tends to break it completely. He’s a punk who loves to piss adults off. He was forced to go there by his very strict abusive father and there he meets sweet sweet Lewis (:

Lewis has never had a friend like Chris and he doesn’t know how to successfully keep one and it’s a really stressful emotional cycle of enduring the weekends at the commune and coming back to school and to Chris amongst all the happy boys that lead mostly normal lives. Chris sort of realizes that he has feelings for boys in this time and has strange urges to hold Lewis’ hand and kiss him and stuff, but he refuses to truly acknowledge his feelings about who he is. but he does, in fact, hold his hand and Lewis lets him and they’ll just hang out for hours in their room holding hands and talking about silly stuff. They come to be really close and mean a lot to each other, chris invite him over to his house on the weekends and lewis sneaks off with him, risking being punished because he didn’t go back with one of the Father’s or Brother’s of his commune. Chris and lewis are very adorable and they play with makeup together in chris’s room and eat snacks and explore mystic overhang and chris teaches him about the ways of modern life. in 7th grade they grow apart when they don’t share a room or anymore and Chris gets involved with different people, starts smoking weed and eventually gets with a guy in 8th grade hhhh… and Lewis focuses really hard in class and it’s sorta the end of that.

When chris gets expelled in 8th grade they don’t see each other anymore, the only departing thing being chris’s journal that he gave to lewis before he was escorted off the premises, and in it is filled with entries about him. this journal was taken and destroyed at his commune by one of the Fathers when it was found, though :/ so yes, Lewis goes back to the commune because they plan on keeping him homeschooled for high school but there’s a group of 5 kids and 3 men from the commune that are heading to Nebraska around the time he’s 16, and they force lewis to be the 6th child that accompanies them in their trip. once there, he’s kept in a creepy abandoned house, hardly set up for living in and he’s living with these other children, like an odd family that has to function around one another, him being the oldest of “siblings”. he finds out eventually that they’re there for a weird ritual/sacrifice thing.. probably the most horror-ish horror element i developed for him thus far, its frankly insane and disturbing and theres a lot of layers and rituals they must do and humiliating tasks they must do all for a Grander godly purpose. the sole purpose of it is to reach ultimate redemption in heaven after a sinful life ahahahaa.. so basically the whole time they’re there, they’re trying to accumulate sin by being unloving, disciplinary, neglectful, …uhh…and lewis kept in a dark room, only candles and daylight light the house and they’re severely mistreated and malnourished. Lewis runs away at 18…but, through constant mistreatments of his body he ends up having gangrene in his left leg and has to have it amputated above the knee by a doctor he meets whom he has to give a Favor to as payment because he doesnt have money. and he gets a real shitty wooden prosthetic that isn’t comfortable at all and its not healing right, it’s a bit botched actually.. and he has crutches and that’s how he gets around. He goes back to Oregon to the town Mystic Overhang that Chris is from because remembers the town name vaguely, not even who said it or when he heard it, but he goes there because he doesn’t know many towns, so he decides to settle there and he makes a living prostituting for awhile at an area called Mouth’s Edge. he sees Chris again when Chris pays him for a bj l o l. and Chris recognizes him even though chris is coked out of his mind because he had a really rough night and got his shit kicked in by his dad… and Lewis almost shits himself because someone from his past is back and he’s really paranoid and weird about it cause he just blew one of his only friends he used to have. and he wants Chris to fuck off, but eventually Chris keeps coming back just to talk to him and see what he’s been up to and stuff, cause he still feels this familiar need to protect Lewis that he had back in middle school. He’s very consistent about seeing him and does every single night even when Lewis is working. lewis’ love for him comes gradually, even through chris is in love with him pretty much instantly. It takes a long time for Lewis to want to be touched and held but he lets people do it anyway, including chris, it’s an unhealthy thing he obviously needs therapy ha ha. they don’t officially date until an entire year later

lewis is very sweet boy he’s shy and he has trouble making eye contact. He’s really smart and loves to paint! That’s what he wants to do with life. He’s not gay per se, he doesn’t really feel much romantically unless someone, anyone is kind to him and patient and reeeeeeeally really consistent or else he would probably never fall in love, but any gender has the potential with him. He loves 40s-80s music so much and dances to it really dorky when he thinks no one is looking and Chris has sooooo many records. he loves to rollerskate! and he’s really good at it. he’s pretty damn masculine, more so than chris. and he’s strong (: and he wears ugly clothes that he finds in dumpsters. eventually he gets enrolled in college for art and sees a therapist he grows to love like a dad to be honest.. lewis he dyes his hair a lot (: it’s naturally golden but at first when he’s prostituting its short and purple and then grows out very long and then he cuts it a lil and dyes it pink..orange..etc etc. he’s a hard worker and he gets a job at the Junkyard where he meets his best friend Cody (:

Chris Russell (tristan’s) is 19… chris is greek and pakistani from his dad and white italian from his mom. he grew up an only child with them in an upper middle class environment because his dad … i don’t even know the legit title but he buys and sells properties for a fancy shmancy company. his mom is just a kindergarten teacher and that’s not a killer wage but. he’s very close to his mom he loves her to pieces, she’s a big stoner hippie (:. his dad on the other hand has always been really disciplinary and cold towards Chris, his dad is straight up abusive though, so there’s no excuses being made for him, but at first he didn’t do it just because he felt like it. he was just raised learning that it was the only effective way to discipline your kid and that it was the dynamic that Worked the best. Chris is a little problem child though, and not so much when he was a kid! he was so sweet and all he wanted to do was wear his mom’s makeup and clothes. he wore clips in his curly hair and pretty skirts and he loved music and being a mama’s boy and he loved her cooking. he loved reading and writing. but he was still abused by his dad, especially for his natural femininity. and as Chris got older he was such a rebel. he’s a mouthy, snarky, blunt little shit that never behaved or was cowered into doing things as his dad wanted. it wasn’t like he wasn’t afraid to get hit or anything but he didn’t show it and constantly provoked it. that’s in his teen years though especially

chris goes in and out of depression and mania constantly after middle school. he’s doing drugs, just weed at first but he’s always always high and he’s a big loner until he meets his Boys in 10th grade (: mikael ben and kylo. his parents divorce when he’s 15. he tries to convince himself he’s not gay and he gets with a girl but the ordeal is humiliating and she spreads the rumor that he was so bad at fingering her and touching her boobies that he must be Gay and so he retaliates by making photo copies of her nude pictures and spreading them. chris has questionable morality. you GOTTA know that about him.. he has problems and he can straight up not be a good person sometimes but overall he really is one and we be loving him or whatever. and he evens out in his 20′s and 30′s so it’s fine. HFSFSS but yeah! after awhile it’s sorta easy just to come out, and then he gets cocky and his gayness bleeds through everything he does. he starts dressing more effeminate again and he fucks around with a lotta guys and is really stupid about his recklessness. he gets into cocaine and gets so fucked up he doesn’t know who he’s banging half the time he just parties and is a big smelly butthead. and around the AIDS crisis no less… dumb ass. by some miracle he doesn’t catch anything or get anything so… this all happens, the worst of it anyway, when he’s 18 and stuff after he has this weird hook up relationship with Mikael his friend and our other OC hsdhbsd. and then he kinda just Takes himself off it after he bumps into Lewis again and goes through his withdrawals and smokes a ton of weed, i mean he’ll never quit that, its fine.

Cody Glorymoon (mine), Lewis’ best friend, is 20 and she’s very pretty and she has delicate features but she’s big tomboy and works for her dad at the junkyard. she’s a ginger and she’s very tall and slim and she’s a little rough and cynical but she’s super soft and loving and smart. and she cares for lewis so much that she’s a little in love with him at one point and it hurts her to be that way because she’s having her own sexuality and identity crisis and shes knows they can’t be together. she hates chris…because the girl chris used to date and spread her nudes was her sister and she’s extremely protective of her sister because they grew up very close and had traumatic experiences being put through frequent pageant shows and training as little girls? their mom was a piece of shit and eventually dumped them on their dad who previously was kept away from them. she also, in general, just doesn’t like chris and his personality. he’s a huge douche to her. until she softens for him in later years when she sees him a lot because he’s her best friend’s boyfriend. chris actually needs her help pretending to be his girlfriend in order to please his dad and keep him off his back so he can see lewis on the low… and she does it because she’s the only girl he knows that tolerates him enough and would do it for him and she comes over for dinner and other events hsdfjsdf its really funny watching chris pretend to like her. they grow closer this way and become real friends even though they always have this love/hate dynamic.

Mikael Taylor (tristan’s) is 19 and one of the boys in Chris and Lewis’s friend group. He’s a foster kid who has really long hair and smokes too much weed because if he doesn’t his adhd gets the best of him. He and church have an on and off thing for quite a while until they break up and church moves away and gets with mason, although mikael is sort of crazy in love with church whether he likes to admit it or not, he’s always sorta waiting for him and mason to be Done even though it takes a long ass time, he really misses his opportunity with him the beginning. He likes to fuck and be with all kinds of different people, though, and commitment is definitely a fear of his (hence the on and off thing with church). He’s really sweet though and he loves lewis to death. Hes funny and outgoing and cool and Everyone likes him. Everyone. Benjamin Jacobs (tristan’s) is 19 and is another one of the boys from the friend group. He’s a big, heavy jock who really enjoys theatre and foootball. He’s from up north, so he has an accent thats quite strong and pretty cliche. He’s got pretty short blonde hair and freckles spread across his soft cheeks. He’s quite angry most of the time and he can be very loud, especially with chris whenever chris is being himself and annoying the shit out of him. He does have a temper but he tries his best to control it around lewis. Oh yeah and he also loves lewis a lot (: he lives in a really nice suburban neighborhood and his home is loudly occupied with his mother, dawn, who is your classic 80’s rhode island mom complete with the big poofy curls and the hoop earrings, and his two brothers and one sister. He has a man cave which is the entire home basement that he and the boys all hang out in 24/7, filled with beanbags a television, a pool table and a blow up doll named Patrisha that chris drew a penis on. Again, he hates chris. ALSO he’s in love with kylo’s sister named Leslies and he pines for her 24/7

Kylo Cavillo (tristan’s) is the last member of the boys group. Kylo is a sweet Hispanic boy with vitiligo who has a hard time expressing himself. He’s very excitable and he falls in love with people very easily… he has this weird crush/obsession with chris that’s not talked about within the group much but it can be more than obvious at times even though he denies that he’s gay. He and lewis get along very well and he loves him a lot, they both were deprived of a lot of the modern things like certain tv shows and games and phrases and ways of doing things so they’re able to bond on that fact. Kylo lives at home with his mother and father, who is a big part of the Mystic Overhang Tiburón’s (a gang) and he owns their family restaurant called El Baño HHHDSF which kylo comes to take over himself when he’s older. He has three sisters and he is the youngest of all siblings, so he grew up with girls his entire life and definitely has some femininity to him. He’s very sweet and innocent, though, and means well with all his endeavors. He likes to grease his jet black hair back and wear gold chains with his baseball jerseys and blue jeans. OH he also has epileptic seizures and it’s very scary but mikael knows well how to deal and handle them when they happen because he has experience both with his foster siblings and kylo himself because mikael knew him the longest!

By the time the final bell rang, I was exhausted.

I yawn and stand, gathering my things up before Eijiro grabs them and slips them into my backpack for me, and I blush a little. He was still distracting me! I thought I was going to try to pull myself together around him! Regardless, I smile.

“Thanks, but you really don’t have to keep doing this kind of thing for me…” I mumble, scratching the back of my neck. Eijiro shrugs.

“I want to.” He replies and my blush goes a few shades darker.

“O-oh…” I mumble. “Okay.” Then, Ochaco opens the door.

“Uhh...why the heck are you all here!?” I look up and see the doorway packed with students.

“Do you students have some business with our class?” Tenya asks. No one replies. I shift awkwardly, shrinking back a little into my seat. The spotlight wasn’t something I was used to. If I had to guess, they’re here to scout out the class that’s fought villains...greeeaaaattt.

“Why are you blocking the doorway?” The class pervert asks. “I won’t let you hold us hostage!” I roll my eyes. Like he could do anything about it. Katsuki, backpack over his shoulder, stalks toward the door.

“They’re scouting out the competition, idiots.” He growls. “We’re the class that survived a real villain attack. They wanna see us with their own eyes.” I gulp, standing. If he was leaving, I should, too. I needed to find Mom and Dad, anyway. Eijiro takes my backpack and walks toward the door with me. I smile gratefully at him. “At least know you know what a future pro looks like.” Katsuki continued. I roll my eyes, the smile dropping.

“Katsuki, enough. We’re all striving to be heroes. Technically, that makes us all potential future pros. Stop.” I call, but it doesn’t make a difference.

“Now move it, extras!” Katsuki snaps as the crowd goes quiet.

“Katsuki!” I bark, hobbling over.

“You can’t just go around calling people extras just because you don’t know them!” Tenya interjects, his arms waving wildly in his emotional state. I open my mouth to add my own lecture, but then a voice rings out and I freeze.

“So this is Class 1-A.” It was Hitoshi! “I heard you guys were impressive, but you just seem like an ass.” He was talking to Katsuki as he made his way through the crowd as I crutch over.

“Shinso!” He never liked me calling him ‘Hitoshi’ in public. He smiles briefly at me, nodding subtly, then turns back to Katsuki.

“You know this clown?” Katsuki growls. I glare at him.

“Yeah. We went to middle school together.” It was a reason I know his name, at least. I didn’t need to go further and embarrass Hitoshi.

“I was sad to come here and find a bunch of egomaniacs in her class.” He continues, sighing a little and rubbing the back of his neck.

“It’s just how Katsuki is,” I defend, “but seriously. Not all of us are like him.” Katsuki glares at me. Hitoshi closes his eyes.

“I wanted to be in the hero course.” He says to no one in particular...or maybe Katsuki. Or 1-A. I’m not sure. “But, like many others here, I was forced to choose a different track.” I suddenly realize why Shinso was here; part of it might be checking on me, but a larger portion must be him declaring what he intended to do. He wanted to win the Sports Festival or do well enough that he can be moved into the Hero Course, like Mom did when she was in high school. “Such is life.” His eyes narrow at Katsuki, who’s remaining surprisingly calm. “I didn’t cut it the first time around, but I have another chance.” I knew it! “If any of us do well in the Sports Festival, the teachers can decide to transfer us to the Hero Course, and they’ll have to transfer students out to make room.” Oh, no...this was a declaration of war. “‘Scouting the competition’?” Hitoshi asks rhetorically. “Maybe some of my peers are, but I’m here to let you know that if you don’t bring your very best, I’ll steal your spot right out from under you.” Hitoshi tilts his head a little. “Consider this a declaration of war.” I blink.

“Shinso…” I murmur, biting my lip. The rest of the class flinches in shock, but I look at Shinso dead in the eye. Hitoshi was serious, but only glaring at Katsuki, who was glaring back. Was he just acting tough to push himself?

“Hey, you!” Comes a new male voice, and someone else forces their way to the head of the crowd. He had incredibly thick blonde eyelash-looking things around his eyes, with silver hair and a fire in his eyes to match Katsuki’s. Oh, great. Another hothead. “I’m from Class B, right next door to you! We heard you fought some villains and- -oh, shit.” He stops short when he sees my boot and crutch. I sigh and gesture to the boot.

“Yeah, we fought villains.” I reply. “And I got the injuries to prove it.” He takes a step back, then scoffs.

“Well, looks like the rest of your class are brats who think they’re better than us!” He challenges. I roll my eyes and point to my backpack, in Eijiro’s hand.

“That’s my backpack, but it hasn’t been on my shoulders since I got here. Eijiro here was the one who got me out of the villain attack and he’s been helping me ever since. The rest of my class are great people, too. Bakugo’s just...headstrong and doesn’t listen to anything or anyone.” The guy turns to Katsuki.

“Oh, great! Talk all you want, loser! It’ll just be more embarrassing when you’re K.Oed!” Katsuki just scoffs and walks away.

“Don’t you ignore me!” The newcomer roars angrily. I move to get Katsuki, but Eijiro beats me to saying anything.

“Dude, where’re you going?! You gotta say something! It’s your fault everyone’s hating on us, Bakugo!” Katuski just glances over his shoulder.

“These people don’t matter.” He growls.

“Huh!?” Eijiro snaps.

“The only thing that’s important is that I beat them.”

“Katsuki, stop!” I snap. “Yeah, we have to beat them to win, but heroes also need to have good teamwork with others. You need to work on that if you want to be the top.”

“Says who?” Katsuki retorts, then walks away before I can say anything else. The silver-head pops up again.

“Hey! I’m coming for you!” He exclaims. Katsuki ignores him. I go to chase him down and talk sense into him, but then decide against it. Right now, Katsuki’s only focus was winning the Sports Festival. If I were to talk to him, he’d only see it as me trying to undermine his chances somehow.

“I hate that that was such a manly exit…” Eijiro grumbles, clenching his fist. I bite my lip.

“Yeah, but...there’s no way he’ll win the Festival if he pisses everyone off.” I reply.

“Meh. He’ll be fine.” Sero counters.

“Besides, he wasn’t wrong.” Fumikage points out. “We have to beat them.” Kaminari groans.

“Yeah, sure, but this sucks!”

“So let’s prove them wrong.” I call, coming back further into the class room. “Don’t be what everyone thinks we are. We’ll prove them wrong.” Denki groans.

“But he made us everyone’s enemy!”

“Yeah, and all these dumb idiots will be gunning for us in the Festical now.” Mineta adds. I shrug, not looking at that little creep.

“Look, just keep training hard and don’t be an asshole and we’ll prove them wrong.” I retort, looking at Kaminari. He laughs.

“Kinda blunt, Yamada, but I like your style!” I chuckle and wave him away.

“Call me Takara, and thanks.” Eijiro then calls me and puts my backpack beside my desk for me. I notice he’s glaring at Kaminari, so I try to distract him by smiling at him. “Thanks.” The students outside slowly go away, talking about this and that, and I have to restrain myself from giving some big speech about how great my class is because the truth is...I don’t really know them yet. I don’t know enough to definitively stand up and say what I want to say. I then look up as Shinso walks over, giving me a small smile.

“Hey.” I smile back.

“Hey.”

“I’m glad to see you’re better. You had me scared for a moment.” Anyone who didn’t know Shinso might think he’s just saying that. His voice didn’t give much emotion away, but I understood. He meant every word.

“That was some speech.” I note, sighing.

“I meant that, too.” He says, leaning against the desk in front of me and crossing his arms. Most everyone’s left and I wanted to talk to Shinso, anyway, so I stay.

“Don’t lie; you just wanted to see me.” I tease, smiling.

“And what gave you that idea? I just wanted to send my message to 1-A.” He retorts. I roll my eyes, then sigh and pick at my skirt.

“...I’m worried, Shinso.” I confess softly.

“About what?” He asks, brow raised.

“About the Festival, and...and if I’ll be healed enough to prepare myself to fight. I just...my ribs don’t hurt that bad, but my leg still needs work. And I still need to train. A lot. I just...Mom and Dad will be watching. The world will be watching. I want to make a good impression.” Eijiro apparently takes that as a kind of cue, wrapping an arm around my shoulder.

“You’ll make a great one!” He assures me, daring to squeeze me close enough to mush our cheeks together. I blush and laugh.

“If you say so.” I reply, squeezing him in return. He straightens up, lets go, and puts a hand on my shoulder.

“But seriously; don’t sweat it. You’ll be great!” I grin and put my hand over his in a moment of boldness.

“If you say so.” I retort. Eijiro understood the deeper meaning; I support you, but think you’re downplaying yourself too much.. It was somethign we’d done for each other a lot as we approached this school year and the challenge of learning how to be a pro hero. Shinso pushes off the desk.

“Well, it was nice chatting, but I should be going.” He says. I stand, too, and hug him.

“Thanks for coming.” I murmur, drawing away.

“Your friend’s right, Takara; trust yourself. Besides, your parents adore you. No matter what you do in the Festival, their love won’t change.” I nod.

“Yeah, yeah. I just can’t help worrying about this whole thing.” Hitoshi shakes his head, chuckling.

“Don’t.” With that, he shrugs and waves as he walks away. I watch him leave and then pick up my backpack, slinging it over one shoulder, insisting on carrying it this time, despite Eijiro tugging on it.

“I got it. I’m not going far. Just to the teacher’s lounge to find Mom and Dad.” Eijiro pouts.

“Takara, you shouldn’t overdo it.” He mumbles. I smile, adjusting the backpack a little.

“I’m not.” He suddenly leans forward gives me a hug. I wonder where this is coming from, but find that I really like this. His hug is strong, but not overwhelming, steady and warm. I feel so safe and secure, I lose myself for a second and bury my face in his neck. He smells like cologne and men’s bodywash. One of those two things had teatree oil in it, something that made him smell amazing!

I then feel Eijiro stiffen and come back to reality and I blush almost blood red as I release him. Our eyes were so wide, they might have popped if they were balloons. “S-so-sorry!” I stammer, grabbing my crutch and running as quick as I can out of the classroom without using the crutch. Eijiro hadn’t moved, so I had a headstart, managing to get away before he- -”Ow!”

“Oof!” I blink, my leg flaring a bit as I realize I’ve run into somebody. Instantly, I stand and apologize. The person I hit laughs.

“Hey, don’t worry about it. It happens sometimes.” It’s a female, third year if I had to guess. Her Quirk makes her look wolf-like, her fur a mottled grey, black and earthen brown. It was so pretty! Her eyes were sapphire blue on the outside and emerald green on the inside and her tail flicks back and forth mindlessly and I have to remember to talk. It was rude to just stare.

“But still. I’m, um, Takara. Takara Yamada.” Her eyes light up.

“Oh! My dad works with your parents!” I raise a brow.

“Really?” She nods.

“Yeah! Oh, sorry! I’m Asami. Asami Hamato.” I grin.

“Like Hamato-Sensei that teaches the second years’ literature?” Asami laughs.

“Yeah. He might quit after this semester, though. He wants to start a self-defense dojo for people with less, um, combative Quirks.”

“Wow, that’s amazing!” She nods happily.

“Thanks.” She hands me back my crutch. “Here you go.” I take it. She pauses. “Wait...you’re in 1-A, right?” I nod.

“Yeah.” She gestures to my boot.

“This from that USJ incident?” I nod.

“Yeah...turns out your leg breaks when a superhuman grabs it to slam you into your mother.” I tried to sound light, like it was a joke now...but my voice wavered. Asami winces.

“Yikes. I’m glad you’re doing better, then.” I was grateful she didn’t press me for more details as I squirm.

“Thanks. I should probably let you go. It was great meeting you.” Asami smiles.

“Yeah, it was great meeting you, too. Maybe I’ll see you around, okay?” I nod, starting to walk off.

“Yeah.” We wave at each other and I continue on my way. Luckily, Eijiro hadn’t pursued me. I blushed again just thinking about that moment…

What was I thinking?! I’d just...it’d felt so good having his strong arms around me, his warmth making me feel safe and at ease, even if it was just for a moment. And then I went and ruined the mood by sniffing him! Ergh!

Finally, I reach the teacher’s lounge. “Hey, champ!” Dad calls. “I was just gonna come looking for yah!” I walk further into the room.

“Hey. I was just talking a bit with the others before I came up here.” he smiles.

“Okay.” I decided to focus on Asami, not that. I’d never hear the end of it if I told Dad I sniffed someone (especially Eijiro) out of nowhere.

“I met a third year on my way here.” Dad tilts his head.

“Oh? Who are they? I might know her.”

“Asami Hamato.” Dad grins.

“Oh, yeah! Her dad works here; Hamato Yoshi. He’s a nice guy. Kinda quiet, doesn’t say much, and doesn’t hang around the school a lot.” I shrug.

“Asami also said he wants to start a self-defense dojo for people that don’t have very combative Quirks.” Dad’s eyes go wide.

“That’s great!” I grin.

“I know, right?” Dad then grabs his stuff.

“Alright. Shota’s resting on the couch, but it’s time to go, so I’ll get her.” I nod.

The next few days went quick, and after school, I’d pop in for a little healing. Never anything extreme, but enough that in those few days, I was healed enough that Recovery Girl gave me the okay to start getting back into exercise and training, warning me to take it a little slow at first.

At that particular session (when I was cleared for training), All Might happens by the door. “I didn’t know you still needed healing…” He mumbles, walking slowly into the room. He looked guilty, but I don’t know why.

“Well, I didn’t want to drain my stamina too much because of school and stuff, but, um, yeah...I should be all healed soon, though, right Recovery Girl?” She chuckles.

“Yes, I believe so, now hold still so I can use my Quirk.” I do and find the healing sensation something I’ve gotten used to at this point. I watch Toshin-Oji go into his real form and sigh heavily as he sits on a cot.

“Takara, I...I wanted to say I’m sorry.” I blink as Recovery Girl moves away.

“Wait, what?” I ask, genuinely confused. “What for?”

“I couldn’t be at the USJ because I wasted my time as All Might that morning being heroic. I was stupid and now you, Shota, and Izuku paid the price.” I blink, remembering that Izuku’s legs seemed broken when he leapt out to protect All Might at the USJ. I wince.

“Is Izuku okay?” I ask automatically.

“He’s fine.” Recovery Girl assures me. “Besides broken legs, he only had minor injuries and two broken fingers.” I breathe out.

“That’s good.”

“How’s Shota?” All Might asks, bringing us more or less back to what he’d said. I sigh.

“She’s...coping. It’s not easy for her to adjust to needing to wear casts on both of her arms, but she’s happy she’s not blind.”

“She could have been blinded?!” He asks sharply in shock. I pale. Wrong thing to say!

“...Her orbital floors were pretty badly damaged, but Recovery Girl managed to heal them. She’s fine...or, at least, better then she used to be.” I chuckle awkwardly, and All Might smiles in relief, exhaling.

“That’s great news. Frankly, I was worried about you two, even after I heard you were stable. When I saw you on the ground, caught under Nomu’s foot...I didn’t know what had happened, just that it pissed me off so much I saw red and next thing I knew, I had you in my arms.” I blink. He’d been feeling this way since the incident?

“Toshin-Oji, you really can’t blame yourself- -no, seriously- -the only ones to blame are the villains.” I reply, holding up a hand when he tried to interrupt. “Even during the fight, I knew as long as I could hold out until I got to Recovery Girl, I’d be okay. I knew my injuries were bad, but I always had that notion in the back of my head.” I realize what I’m saying and turn to Recovery Girl. “I mean, not that I assumed you’d help me or anything! I just knew there was a possibility that I’d be healed pretty quickly!” She holds up her hand.

“I knew what you meant, dear. And, unlike another student, I haven’t had to heal you much, so of course I’d help you out. You and your mother were hurt pretty bad. I knew I could help, and I did, so let’s all agree to put this behind us, okay?” I smile.

“Yeah...okay. Toshin-Oji?” He turns his head to look me in the eye. “I love you.” He blinks.

“I love you, too.” He says and I swoop over to hug him. “You truly are a treasure.” He murmurs, squeezing me just a little harder and kissing my temple. I tear up a little in happiness and bury my face in his chest.

“Hey, Tik--...am I interrupting?” Dad asks, trailing off when he saw what was going on. I pull away and smile at Dad.

“Nah, we were just clearing some things up.” I reply, winking at Toshin-Oji. Dad seems to read the subtext and nods.

“I see. Well, Shota’s ready to go, so let’s not keep her waiting, okay?” I nod.

“Okay.” I turn back to the office. “Bye, guys!” I call, waving as I walk out of the room, thankfully not needing my boot. “Thank you, Recovery Girl!” I add.

“Don’t overdo it, dear! Start slow!” She calls back and I nod in acknowledgement.

“Hey, Tik-Tak, there’s actually something I wanted to talk to you about.” Dad says as we walk, and I nod, wondering what he could possibly want to talk to me about.

“Okay.” I prompt. He wraps an arm around my shoulders.

“Shota and I have been talking, and we think it’d be best to move into the faculty facility here on campus. That way, Shota doesn’t have to be driven to work everyday and we all have a bit more independence. Would you want to do that?” I nod.

“Yeah, Mom mentioned you two were toying with the idea, and I told her I could have my stuff packed in, like, two hours. Honestly, I think it’s a good idea!” He ruffles my hair.

“Thanks, Takara. Frankly, I’m using the whole move as a way to help Shota.” He sighs, slumped and looking away. “She’s taking this hard. Villains got the drop on us and she’s still trying to cope.” I blink.

“I...I’d imagine so.” I mumble. “Honestly, I haven’t been sleeping too well, myself. I keep waking up to nothing, feeling on edge for some reason, wondering what woke me, but I’m able to go back to sleep. Sometimes, I swear there’s someone in a room, but when I do the vibration thing, no one’s there.” Dad looks at me somberly, hand on my shoulder.

“That’s completely normal, Musume. Even Shota’s been having nightmares. She keeps waking up, clutching her face and staring around the room with her Quirk active, like she’s looking for enemies. It’s hard to get her to calm down.” I sigh. Figures Mom has her own demons to deal with.

“Maybe we can have movie night? Watch some corny comedy or something?” Dad chuckles.

“Maybe. Or we can ask Toshinori for show suggestions to watch as a family.” I nod eagerly.

“Yeah!” I’m already whipping out my phone and typing up a text as Dad laughs.

“We’ll look up recipes for popcorn and make a night of it. What’dya say?” I grin at him, sending the text.

“I say ‘hell yeah’!” I reply, high-fiving dad. This was a great idea!

Within five minutes, I get a text back.

Well, if you’re looking for something that makes for a good distraction, I’d recommend some of the older movies by an American film studio called Walt Disney. They have an interesting 2-D style in their early works and I find the stories charming. As for shows, I’m not sure...maybe look around and see if something appeals to you all.

I smile. That was an interesting idea, for sure.

The next day, we were at the fake city from the entrance exam, training. It was a lot of fun, even if I couldn’t really work myself the way I wanted to without making my leg cramp and spasm even after healing the broken bone. It was slowly coming back to normal, though, as I practiced simple kicks and stuff after a really short run to build that muscle back. My ribs forced me to take breaks, as well, if I pushed it too hard, but they were coming along great, too. My phone buzzes as I finish a pretend fight, so I check who the text is from.

Eijiro Kirishima:

Hey, come look at the tall building’s roof!

Confused, I decide to go ahead and walk over. I knew Eijiro was in the same area as me, so I knew which tall building he meant. However, it was so tall, I couldn’t see clearly what I was supposed to see up there. All I saw was a small blurry thing that might be Eijiro.

Me:

Ok, I’m here. What do you want me to see? I can’t really see anything…

Just a few seconds after I sent that, I hear a faint yell and then look up to see- - “Eijiro!” I scream, backing up toward the building make sure I wouldn’t be hit. I knew what he was doing; practicing falling long distances and using his Quirk to survive them. It was just training, but...still. If he didn’t activate his Quirk in time...thankfully, he lands and comes back up almost instantly, thrusting dramatically through the cracked pavement.

“Yyyeeaaahhh!” He roars, grinning wildly at me as he walks over, dusting himself off. His grin then turns into a smirk. “Impressed?” He asks, one hand on his hip, the other on the wall. I snort, blushing a little as he leans in just a little.

“You’re insane. You could have died...but to answer your question...yeah, it was kinda impressive.” I reply with slightly pink cheeks, chuckling and walking away, when Eijiro puts his other hand on the other side of my head. I turn to look at him. His face is intense with some unreadable emotion as he stares at me.

“So...did I smell good?” He asks, leaning in. I blush and lean back against the wall. Where was this coming from!?

“Um...what?” I ask stupidly, my racing mind unable to process what he might be talking about.

“What happened after the final bell yesterday...that hug…” My blush darkens. Oh shit! I’d almost forgotten! I lick my lips.

“I- -I’m so sorry about that!” I squeak, unsure how to take this reaction. Was he mad? Disgusted? He was so hard to read right now… “I, ah, I mean…yeah...you did smell good.” Why was that hard to say? It was a fact, nothing more...right? He then smiles, laughing (I swear he’s blushing, too, though) as he leans back, keeping one hand on the wall. I blush darker and want to sink into the ground.

“Takara, relax! I was just teasing!” He chirps. “But, good to know!” I exhale, then smack his arm.

“You jerk! I thought you were mad at me or something!” That, and I thought maybe...that was leading somewhere- -stoppit! This is not the time for those kind of thoughts! He’s just a friend! Stop!

“Aww, Takara, I could never be mad at you for long!” He replies, patting my arm and moving away.

“Good to know, jerk.” I grumble, the tone undermined by my smirk, then I sigh and nudge him. “You know, you’re a good man, Eijiro.” I mumble, cheeks red again “You didn’t have to help me, but you did, and I want you to know it means a lot to me.” He’s definitely blushing as he walks beside me. I wanted to make sure he knew how much all his help meant to me.

“Takara, I’d do it again. Anytime.” I feel an instinct to hug him but refrain and settle for smiling at him as we walk back toward where the others were training.

“And I’d do it for you.” I reply, just letting myself enjoy this moment. It was two friends affirming their bond...and that’s it…

So why am I blushing?!

Sorry. There won’t be a part two. I have a clear vision of who these characters are and what happens after they part ways.

The whole point of the story was that our OC has been setting her standards too low – and she needed something to help her break out of her rut and realize she can take risks and demand more for herself. Her one night stand with Jimin was exactly the kind of thing she needed to start to rebound from a bad relationship.

I like to think that she went home feeling sexy and confident after her fling. She immediately got on line and started dating a bunch of different guys, but no longer felt like she needed to accommodate some random guy in the quest to find a boyfriend. When a date didn’t work out, she wasn’t worried – there’s always another guy around the corner. If she felt sexually attracted to someone, she would have sex without trying to force herself to feel something emotionally for the person. Something that she never would allow herself to do before Jimin. It’s not like she went home and started screwing everyone in sight, but she now gave herself permission to do things just because she wanted to do them in the moment without worrying about finding a deeper meaning in everything.

This sense of freedom also gave her the courage to find a new job. She used her experience working in sales in the industrial sector to get a job selling safety and environmental control technology to the oil and gas industry. She had to move to Houston, but she’s making a lot more money than she used to and the change of environment was good for her. She doesn’t travel as frequently, but when she does travel she still has to go out to the middle of nowhere. Sometimes she gets to travel internationally – even if it is to visit an oil field in Kazakhstan. She likes how worldly she sounds when attending dinner parties.

Eventually she met a guy there who she thinks might be “the one”. He teaches high school math, plays the guitar, volunteers at a soup kitchen and likes to go scuba diving. He’s teaching her how to dive and they have plans to go to Cozumel over his spring break vacation.

She doesn’t often think of that night with Jimin, but every once in a while she remembers him and feels grateful because that was the turning point in her life and attributes her current happiness to meeting him.

Meanwhile, Jimin continues to be exactly what he was when they met that first night. He lives in Ohio and hangs out with the same group of friends he grew up with. He’s still having a good time screwing around and likes being out on the road and chasing after different women to see who he can get into his bed. He’s charming and fun and makes everyone around him feel great, but he’s also a heartbreaker and has found it extremely difficult to stay faithful to a woman. He doesn’t like hurting people, so he continues to be extremely upfront about his intentions, although he finds that the girls back home still manage to fall for him. Now that his friends are all getting married, they don’t have as much time to go out and party with him. They ask Jimin when he is finally going to grow up and settle down, but he really can’t imagine himself in that lifestyle. He’s starting to feel a limited by his current environment - there just isn’t enough excitement. So he’s applied for a transfer to the Los Angeles office because he thinks a big city might be better for him. If that doesn’t work out, he’s heard rumors that the sales manager in Las Vegas might be retiring next year and he wouldn’t mind taking that job either.

He remembers the OC as one of the wilder nights he’s had on the road and has told all his friends about that time he had sex with a girl while she made her ex-boyfriend listen to them on the phone. Ah… good times!

Guys who seem too good to be true, generally are too good to be true. Jimin is fun in the moment, but not boyfriend material. He knows it. That’s the way he wants it.

im making it MANDATORY THAT THEY TOOK A SEMESTER ABROAD IN KALOS DURING THEIR TRAINERS SCHOOL TIME

(also this is where that one line of diaglouge in xy comes from. that one chick who tells you that green was there studying and only ever said smell ya later)

i was thinkin about giving them pokemon for this trip but. i think its better if their first pokemon come from prof oak later.

when they first got there leaf was worried that he was irritated he had to spend the whole semester with her there. he kinda scoffed and smirked at her and said something like “Are you kidding? I’d be angrier if you DIDN’T get the scholarship.” cuz they’re rivals. and he expects no less from her. he tells her something like its bad for his image if his rival isnt as good as him. he’s actually kinda happy that she’s there with him and he’s not gonna be all alone.

this actually makes leaf really happy and kind of. sets the mood for the whole trip there

so they end up staying with this older couple who live in the heart of lumiose city and usually house the students every year. ofc they’re thrilled tho have leaf and green there. the wife owns a bakery/cafe and the husband works at the docks down in coumarine city. as a condition of them staying there, leaf helps with the bakery and green helps at the docks

when they first go there. they find out that. the kalos school doesnt require uniforms and theyre both kind of “???? so you just wear whatever??” greens perf fine with this but leafs kind worried bc she didnt bring THAT much clothes, so the couple takes both her and green shopping for kalos-style clothes. this is where leaf gets this outfit from and she LOVES IT shes adorable i love her so much

when green first sees her in it hes a little surprised because WOW what. “shes actually. kind of ok looking.” hes blushing shut up you idiot

so they get to their new school and everyone intrigued by them oooo new transfer students whaaaat??? green right off the bat is all confident and doing his usual thing. winks at like 3 girls and they’re all fawning over him first thing.

but the school is very welcoming to them!! they get a lot of transfer student from all over the place so they have a lot of different people from different places!!

they actually have a pretty good time. a lot of the kids from school drop by the bakery just to. see leaf. same with the girls for green and business is good. amen. the couple is actually shook because they have so many profits

on weekends they get to go see kalos!!! its pretty.,. nice actually like esp traveling to like cyllage and laverre and anistar(leaf loves anistar city)

and green is actually really enjoying theyre time there. it kind of feels like.,. dates.,. kind of.,. and he never voices it and STILL ACTS LIKE A JERK BUt.,. spending time with her here in kalos is actually kinda cool,,. we should do this more often, he thinks

they go to all the little cafes and explore that big mansion with the gardens, they actually get to go rollar skating around a couple times and ride gogoats like they live kalos life to the fullest

sometimes when they study at night he goes to her room and just chills with her on her bed (she has a huge bed and it’s really comfortable compared to his). they take turns reading the material out loud and leaf. really likes it when he reads she just lays there and stares at him and he. has a great voice shes dying a little here guys //

leaf always felt a little bit homesick. once when they were chilling in her bed she asked green if he missed home. he kinda sat there for a bit before answering with a “no, not really. it’s actually kind of nice to get away from everyone. there no real pressure to be anyone or do anything.”

she wasnt exaclty sure what he meant but lowkey. he was actually talking. about her and him. because in kanto they’ve been rivals for so long it’d be weird to hang out with her and go see places like they do there. but no one in kalos really know them so hes just.,. ehuhhhhhh i dont wanna go home

okay ANOTHER THING THAT HAPPENED IN KALOS WAS THIS: at some point, one of the students at their school fell desperately in love with leaf and she. didn’t even like him at all. like he was just some persistent rich creep so yes. im doing this. no one can stop me. to get him to give up she asked green to pretend to be her boyfriend for like. a day or two just so he’d leave her alone.

OFC GREENS LIKE SMIRKING THE WHOLE TIME SHES ASKING HIM THIS AND SHES BLUSHING AND EMBARRASSED BUT SHES TRIED EVERYTHING ELSE.

greens actually a little irritated by this and is kinda ehh at first because. he doesnt wanna fool around and then actually catch feelings by accident (he doesn’t want to temp god like this hes already enjoying their time together)

but shes. desperate and so after a few more pleads he.,. agrees and she kind of feels bad. so she apologizes for dragging him into this and then. she asks him “Can…can you handle it?” she didn’t mean it as an insult or anything she MEANT ARE YOU COMFORTABLE ENOUGH TO DO IT

but what HE HEARD was a CHALLENGE so he just. stops. and turns to her. and he grabs her by her waist and pulls her REAL close to him and leans in and just “Can you?” with the widest smirk and like. the sexiest voice. and she just becomes this blushing terrible mess and shes stammering over all her words and he just fokijnff laughs because god. this is gonna be fun.

fhjkf this is horrible okay so. the next day at school ofc hes true to his word so here we go. they pretend like theyre going out. and its the biggest scoop of the whole place. girls are crying, teachers are shocked. in the distance, sirens.

green is a pro at this bc he teases her enough as is, now he just needs to take it a little further and he’s actually enjoying the reactions he’s getting from her. like he can fuckin gently grab her hand and she turns into a mess like why did i ask him to do this i am an idiot

when they get home that night green is just laughing his ass off because she., is terrible at this and he cant believe it. she makes up some excuse and after some banter and making fun of her, green tells her that if she really wants this to look convincing, she gotta get better control over it. hes smirking the whole time. so she gets even more flustered and asks if he has any great ideas, to which he replies yes.

lets practice, he says. and she if confused and honestly a little scared. she asks how and he actually. sighs and sits down in front of her and for once, is actually smiling instead of smirking. so he adds a “Don’t freak out.” before,. gently taking her hands in his.

shes trembling and takes a deep breath before lacing her fingers with his and this. actually turns into a nice kind of moment. the whole time hes watching her eyes. and he can see shes still nervous so he tells her. “How about we pretend like… we’re actually together for a while.”

and shes blushing like hell because oh my god shes liked him for so long and this is so nice with him but it actually hurts a little that its not real

so he,. slips his hands around her waist and pulls close and presses her against him and slowly nuzzles his nose in her hair

and hes. actually kind of enjoying this.

and this feeling boils in the pit of his stomach as his lungs fill with the scent of her hair and it sends shivers over his skin and he feels his hands tracing over the small of her back and the warmth of her body on his and through the foggy blurry haziness in his head the only thought that comes out is ‘Oh no.’

and then BAM one of their caretakers slams the door open with a “Hey kids, dinner is ready!” and green IMMEDATLY grabs her arms and pushes her away and his face his red. She responds with a shocked quiet “Oh, I hope I wasn’t inturrupting-”

and they BOTH CUT HER OFF STAMMERING AND STUTTERING WITH “No it wasn’t what it looks like-!” “We were just- uh- practicing-!” “FOR THE SCHOOL DRAMA COMING UP-” “YEAH-” and shes just. giggling and a little surprised with an “Oh! Could’ve fooled me!” before she leaves.

and green and leaf are just standing there in awkward silence and leaf is rubbing her arm while green is rubbing the back of his neck and she leaves with a brisk “I-I think we should go get dinner-” before they both go downstairs

the next day it turns out that rich creep was too heartbroken from seeing her with green the day before that he transfered schools entirely, so oh, I guess we don’t need to keep up the act anymore, and green answers with a yeah, cool, and ignores the small feelings of disapointment and covers it up by going back to his usual snarky self

he forces himself not to think about this for a long time because he doesnt wanna get caught up in the feels. Leaf, however, thinks about it all the time because it was really nice, but green doesnt bring it up and they were just pretending anyway hes just used to being a flirt it wasnt a big deal for him

Episode 2 | “GET ME OUT OF HERE ” - Devon

okay so i filmed a video confessional earlier which is uploading where i basically talked about dealing with being a winner/the tomb and having an idol/potentially wanting to go to tribal pre-swap/deliberately choosing the puzzle/how much i love jake so that'll come at some point after this but just KNOW that came first. anyway just wanted to talk MORE because i have more thoughts. last round i was really conscious of needing to micro-manage my threat level and i think im putting in work to do that? im very concious that i cant play the same game as montenegro because im coming into it from a very different perspective/position. However, one thing I can do this season is transfer my prejury game, because i think it still works. What I need to do is to some extent take a backseat, where I'm not actively messaging people first, and keeping game talk kinda limited (but acknowledging it when people talk to me). Like I have the safety cushion of my idol, and my connection to jake/jordan, and to some extent dan and lovelis? like im not gonna be a target (touch wood) and hopefully if i am my men tm going to keep an eye out for me.... hopefully? it also means im not gonna be pushy about votes im gonna hear names and run with it (as long as its not jake/jordan, or lovelis tbh i get real good vibes from him). but yeah id really love the beauty tribe to go to tribal this round ive literally never spoken to a single one of them so i'd love one of that tribe that is a complete unknown quantity to go home DJDKLFSF. but yis so im feeling good taking a backseat but im gonna ejector seat myself forwards at some point, just got to figure out when to push the button

Okay so Bodhi left last night and that was really sad. We had nice conversations but i told him that if the rest of the tribe wanted him out i wasn't going to campaign for him. He ended up making his rounds but at the end of the day, no one felt strongly about keeping him. He speaks so well that it took me a night's rest to get my head straight. Also Trace got an alliance together of himself, myself, Scott and Isaac. Bitch i was SHOOK! I am so glad to be likable enough to be brought into someone else's core. So this kind of perfectly positioned myself and Scott between 2 alliances. I believe we're both more loyal to the one we formed before we found out we were going to tribal, but who knows. I did tell Autumn of the news because i figure if we were to lose again. Whichever of Isaac of Trace remains is going to feel on bottom and blow up that Scott and I were two-timing the DADS. Btw that is the dumbest alliance name I have ever been a part of but whatever. The rat pack has also formed and now him and I are in a good spot. I will say that i am nervous that MISS ALYSSA spoke the comparison into existence, but i really hope we don't continue to flop like Luzon did on Cagayan. But hey! If Denise can go to every tribal council in one season and win, maybe i can too. (PS i pissed myself with my score in winterbells but also F*CK WINTERBELLS, thats all, ty)

Honestly I’m really regretting not participating in this challenge because I feel like our scores are.......not great. I feel like I could have turned out the puzzle and even winterbells. The flag Lovelis made is super cute and i think will fair well bc it’s very clean and neat. It’s not super creative, but it’s definitely well made. I think even if we went to tribal I would be okay though. Liam seems like an easy enough boot for us. No one seems that dazzled by his contributions to the tribe.

i literally am the biggest clown who ever clowned for continuing to overdo it in challenges, if i'm allowed to make it to merge at this point it will literally be a miracle.

So Bodhi left on a unanimous vote yesterday and I'm glad that it worked out as planned! I definitely felt bad lying to him about it all and stuff, but I think it was the best for the tribe going forward. What does suck however is that we lost AGAIN! And it was actually close this time! I'm actually annoyed that we lost this time because I submitted my challenge at 4PM and the reason why we lost was because the last submission was at 8 :/ like... y'all couldn't get it in any earlier? Plus I'm annoyed because I find myself in the swing position between the DADS and The Rat Pack. Personally I don't trust Trace after finding out he tried to play the Rat Pack off as my idea when it was really his all along. To me, it shows that he'd betray me later on down the line. And the only purpose for "The Rat Pack" is so they feel like they're in the majority. So since we lost, I don't mind voting out Trace. Duncan and I called to confirm that we're on the same page. We also found out that Devon is telling us the same things about loyalty and allegiances and I don't like that. He also told Duncan that he would throw immunities and play idols for him if he needed it, and that Duncan was his number 1 ally. But he said the same exact thing to me. So... that has me a little sketch. But I also think that Autumn/Duncan are a close pair, so I may need to stick close to Devon for the long hall. But if Autumn/Duncan think I'm more with them than Devon, I'll take it. I'm supposed to go on call with the Dads soon. Duncan wants to tell them about the rat alliance so that Isaac doesn't use it as motive to get us out. Which i agree that it'd be a good idea as long as devon/autumn stick with us. Duncan and I both feel like Devon might be thrown off since he always likes to be in control, but not actually being in charge. So we'll need to do damage control when that happens. But for now it seems like Trace is going unless things change. If things go how I would want it to, then Trace leaves tomorrow.

Omg!!!!! Another win that makes me so happy . The tribe is all getting along great and I couldnt all for better ppl. I'm hoping soon to get some kind of solid group together. Kendell adam and amiry are ppl I def wanna work with long term at the time. Just gotta see what happens.

Not much has been happening lately so I might be able to keep this short and not ramble on and on like i usually do (ill still end up writing a novel probably) yippy yay it's day 5 and everything is still all smiles and giggles over here because we've won yet another immunity!! kinda boring tbh but obviously im happy we won immunity because now that buys me one more day and at the end of it that's all i care about. I kinda did want the brauns to go to tribal however instead of the brains because i just really would like my beauties to get a nice foot hold and a lead in the game, i actually enjoy taking to some of these people, and im trying my best to talk to as many people as i can, which anyone who knows me knows isn't the easiest thing for me, i was reading some of my old confessionals from both my past games and the one thing i consistently got dragged for was not being as present with people, which granted i did improve a lot on last time around for sure, but i still got work to do and im realizing that more each day when i have no urge whatsoever to talk to anyone (don't worry, it's not you, it's (crippling depression) me! I understand socializing is part of the game and i do think my social game is my strongest asset but to me i like to think of my social game as a more distinct kind, im more elusive and i like to be that, if you leave them wanting more dahling they'll keep you around, i dont like to show all my cards, and that's a quality that i reflect in both survivor and life, and it has advantages and disadvantages in both but ANYWHO despite all that dare i say i think im still doing *decent* ? I'm making it a priority to reach out at least once a day to *most people (AJ, Augusto, Amir, Austin) are the ones ive probably had some of the best conversations with where it was the most natural and just flowed you know, and still is on day 5, and with kendall ive had some talks with her i do like her but idk i get this vibe she's kinda holding back when talking to me, and ESPECIALLY same with connor? we only had one private conversation and he gave me about a 3 word response, and if you havent guessed by now i like elaboration or at least a lil bit of personality when you talk, no shade just an observation, so that's a small red flag im very much a person who matches energy, one of my go to's in survivor is being open to the possibility of anything, ill always work with anyone who will work with me, and i think thats how everyone should play so hopefully the people ive been talking a lot to feel similar but i guess we'll have to wait until a vote of some sort to see about all that.. I still havent heard any idol talk or even game talk quite frankly so im guessing people are just still keeping the friendly facade up..... or ...... is it me?? am i the one on the outs looking like boo boo the fool or is that just my paranoia getting to me??? im not gonna send myself into a tizzy about getting voted out when we're not even going to tribal i- lemme calm down. If i had to guess I'd say Kendall, Connor, or Amir have the idol probably but sounds like a mystery for another day because im DONE im clocking out for the night until other people wanna wake up and play the game too oop final note: ok but it would be sick and twisted if it turns out they are all playing the game just without me and im the first boot of the tribe

Waking up on this glorious Day 5 with a new perspective. I originally applied to be on the brains tribe and was shook when I got brawn because let’s face it, my arms are akin to overcooked spaghetti noodles. BUT my tribe is so much stronger than the brains. I’m hoping for a big name to go to shake things up. AND I’m not really looking to swap onto a tribe with Trace or Autumn due to our past game history. Love them both dearly, but it’s gonna be a no from me.

okie so! update from me is i think im doing okay. like i think the benefit of no dua lipa cave is you can just build connections with everyone, you aren't voting someone out every round so why not capitalise on that? i'm so afraid of the fact that i'm overdoing it in challenges like i really need to calm. down. but im reassuring myself with the fact that in the first challenge i only was top because i did like... one more thing than others like its not thattt big of a deal? my puzzle time was clownery but hopefully people don't pay attention to it? im getting very anxious about overdoing it in challenges, but my thought process now is like. i need to act like people have an awareness of it, without getting kinda consumed by my anxiety about it? idk im hoping since most of these people don't know me, they wont notice me doing good in the challenge but truly who can be sure also am really just liking my tribe? like jake is ofc a king, i love jordan (who im gonna talk to later, he is the only one i feel like i have to talk to today), i also really like TJ who i was super harsh on at the start for no reason, i get good ally vibes from lovelis, liam m is super sweet even tho he is kinda inactive and dan is so fun (plus he told jake that he speaks to me one of the most so we love that!!). i've been trying to figure out what i even do about a lot of the super old school players that i have no connection/point of reference with? like people like scott, adam, kendall, aj i have truly no basis with? thats whats so scary about a swap, is at this point in the game i know 10/20 people left aka the brawn tribe + duncan/isaac/autumn, and like 10/20 isnt bad... BUT then the other 10 aka the beauty tribe + trace/scott/devon i have literally no connection to which is super scary JAKSDFA. im just real afraid of a swap. just swap me with jordan/jake/autumn/isaac PLEATHE. im just a pile of anxiety this season idk what to do im like frozen because of how scared i am... maybe it'll be all fine

Well, that was a close one. I struggled with that comp all day and I feel like absolute shit that I only got our team that 1 point. To me, it's inexcusable not to have be able to help my tribe as I wanted to contribute and make sure I made my worth known. So now I'm just this paranoid mess that I would have been in trouble had we gone to tribal. It's been hard to talk to some of these people or for most of those who I do talk to, I just don't really know where there head is at. I'm not sure if this is just a really guarded tribe, or if I really should be concerned. So I don't know what to do just yet. And that's not a feeling I like when playing TS.

Not gonna lie, I’m pretty sad that Bodhi left the game like he was so active pre-season so I was expecting him to do his best to go super far and maybe he did? I don’t know, but I did want a chance to actually get to play with him in TS but we keep passing each other by! I hope he is doing good despite how he might feel being the first boot yknow but yeah <3

The way I absolutely flopped with the idol system stuff is all types of funny and sad at the same time like I REALLY thought I did something only for it to be part of the challenge… That being said, Amir did tell me that he has a theory the idol system might be based on numbers which is interesting! I am super thankful he decided to tell me and we went on this long talk about how we are each other’s #1s which is super cute! I really do trust Amir and I do want to go far with him because he’s awesome but that being said, my #1 is me like I promised myself that I’d be selfish this time around just because being the selfless person I am hasn’t gotten me a win but we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it. We did go over a lot of stuff in terms of tribe dynamics and we both kinda agreed that AJ would be the first boot from the time if we went to tribal, we like our alliance with Kendall/Connor, we both like Adam and we both think Austin is sweet/genuine even if we don’t talk to him tons so yay for that too <3

I am SO trying to sell the fact that me and Kendall are a duo to Kendall which is funny to me idk hjfkds like she did approach me super early on about aligning but I do have the tiniest feeling she did that to mostly everyone but I’m trying to pin us with each other to her so she trusts me more, especially since I do feel as though she is the best connected on the tribe. I even called us Crystal Cox (me bc blazing speed and challenge flop ofc) and Ken(dell) ghfjdksl, I’m doing the most but yeah, I just want Kendall to see me as her #1 in the game on the off chance anything happens yknow?

Austin thinks I’m his #1 which is really sweet? I do like Austin even if it is hard to talk to him sometimes but hey, that happens. He told me that he’s really glad I’m on this tribe (which I have heard from basically everyone especially Adam and Amir which makes me feel cute omg) and that we might need to get a group going soon. I was like…. Tea but I also don’t know how quickly I want to get an alliance including Austin going just because it’s like… do I reveal that Austin and I are close-ish and be seen as a social threat? That just ain’t cute sis! But yeah, Austin told me he also really likes Kendall and Amir and that’s awesome that the two people I feel the closest to are ALSO doing THAT but at the same time, I want to be the one doing THAT the most because I’m greedy (by Ariana Grande) so it’s something to keep in mind!

Ugh fineeeee since I've been called out... by myself. I guess I'll do the bare minimum. So we won immunity!!!! Wooo!!!!!! Low-key though through out the entire process of making the flag, I just kept thinking darn I wish we voted out someone last tribal because drawing 7 people is annoying... watch me get voted out next tribal council lol. That would be quality foreshadowing. Today I have two goals. 1. Figure out what the method of entering the tomb. I intend on getting in contact with Augusto or Connor for that one. Augusto because he is low-key my number one. Connor because I feel if anyone can solve it he probably could. 2. Set up group chat with me, Augusto, and Austin. So Austin can feel a false sense of reassurance and Augusto and I have options. Write more later maybe.

Honestly im feeling kind of trepidatious going forward which is a little wierd, i just dont feel like ive gotten my footing yet in this game. I think like, im in a good spot to be fine on this tribe because of my social game and how I contribute in challenges, but I dont know if I feel good about anything longterm just yet. What really is bothering me is the tomb. Its gonna be round 3 tonight and I haven't made any more progress on getting in than I have night one. I feel like I have a lot of pieces to this puzzle but nothing is fitting together and its bothering me. I'm also a little upset that if we lose, I could see Liam being the target and I can't see my self risking my position to save him if he cant save himself. He has my name on his wiki page its an obvious association to me, and while I think hed be loyal to me, I'm just wondering honestly if him as an ally is worth the target it may bring. Im cautiously moving through the beginning of this game with a lot of unnease and hopefully I find some steady ground soon.

I am annoyed that we are yet again at tribal. I played so fucking hard at winter bells but of course someone on another tribe got like 238593277 billion which threw us back into tribal... So annoying truthfully. But it's alright, I should be able to make it out alive. I want Devon to go home. But I also don't want to let my guard down. This vote is important for a few reasons. The first reason is that our tribe is very close, so I am nervous that lines are going to be drawn in the sand. The second is that, after this vote, we will be down to five, making 3 the majority. We have an alliance of 4, and lord knows that when you are down to 5, whoever feels like 3 and 4 of the alliance are most likely going to try and rope in the 5th person to get rid of each other. So my plan is to make Isaac and Scott BOTH feel as though they are my number 1s so that they actually stick to our alliance of 4 thinking that I will be keeping them both if we lose again. This is the only way that i can see it working, but idk. Things have been going pretty well for my tribe! We won the first immunity challenge and that really seemed to boost tribe morale. Granted, these past couple of days I've been quiet since I'm trying to boost grades that are literally 0s into something manageable before I graduate hehe. I've tried to keep up with people through small conversations, which seems to work better for me at the moment until I get myself together. Adam wants to create an alliance with Augusto and Amir, which I'm totally for. I understand, though, that he doesn't wanna do it immediately since there's really no urgency to? We didn't go to tribal, so why did it matter! That excuse aside, I do hope that us holding our breath to say something doesn't bite us in the ass because these are people I want to work with! I wanna get something going with Kendall as well hopefully, since I adore her! Earlier, I stated that Adam and I (Adam, really) found our way into the tomb and both flopped in the questions. Adam took another stab at it and found out we've been bamboozled! Someone beat us to the punch and has whatever contents were inside the tomb. I'm assuming it was an idol, but who knows what else is in there! It kinda made me lose motivation to keep searching inside but when in Rome? I'll probably end up trying again despite knowing the end result just because I wanna prove I can be a smart cookie as well. I also didn't gloss over this but I'll mention it really quickly, but I'm sad Bodhi went! He was one of the few people I was familiar with on the other tribes so it's unfortunate we aren't going to be able to connect with each other this game. A king has fallen. In lighter and more recents events, my tribe crushed the second immunity challenge. Kendall stunned with her artistry and I'm still gushing over how cute everyone's character was. I kinda like decimated Winterbells, but I've always been good at the game, and Amir did really well in the scavenger hunt. Augusto and Austin did really well in the puzzle also, despite their lack of confidence in offering a strong performance. We appear to be THEE tribe to beat honestly and I'm loving that. I love our tribe! I LOVE OUR TRIBE! It really would be a tragedy if we aren't able to keep up this win streak we're manifesting.

Sorry for not writing this sooner! Been having a bad depressive episode for the last couple days and it makes me unmotivated to write c': I feel like a flop so far in this game, not because I submit shit scores, but because I find it exhausting to connect with some of these people. They're all very nice in their own special ways, but interacting w some is like pulling teeth, and I guarantee they feel the same about me, which I would expect. That being said, I hope we keep winning, cause I don't have the energy to go to tribal right now.

Heading into a second tribal council, there is becoming less and less room to hide. I am struggling to hold my own against the other tribes when it comes to competitions, but thank goodness it's a numbers game. If everything goes accordingly, I am taking a backseat this vote and allowing a 4-2 vote out when it comes to Trace. I appreciated Duncan coming to me with the alliance chat information with him/Scott/Trace/Isaac, but didn't like how Autumn needed to tell me first. Shows that I really can't trust Scott/Duncan after a swap comes up. In regards to Scott, he outright didn't say anything. I like him and all, but it was a slimy move to say the least. He only said something because he HAD to vote out someone in one of his two alliances. This group will be dumb as hell if they let me swap. I'll flip on them as soon as possible and invite anyone into my alliance. The tribe swap is where I made my 'Slithers' game infamous last time, so I'm hoping for a similar output. Don't forget: I swapped with the minority last time in Guyana (shout out to Jess), so I'm not worried about the numbers and how its split. ALL I NEED IS A SWAP OR TWIST. GET ME OUT OF HERE.

Thank God we won that based on the tiebreaker, but yikes I didn't think my flag would've tanked so hard. Guess I've gotta get better at perfecting my craft huh, but at least we're safe. I feel nervous on this tribe to be honest, because I think I'm the second to bottom on the totem pole after the other Liam, so it isn't reassuring that if we lose twice I'll either be gone, or I could even be gone at our first tribal if he's got a solid alliance going...the only alliance I have right now is with Jordan and I don't really know where I sit with everyone else, but I'm afraid of overplaying... ugh so annoying! I think I just need to force a couple of game related conversations with people to build up some trust, just hope it wouldn't paint a target on my back for trying I guess...

oh gorl, some of these people on my tribe really think im just the clown of the tribe and cant put two and two together, well guess what, IM NOT. So Amir messages me, which nothing out of the ordinary there, ive been talking to him every day so far for the most part like i said we're a little familiar with each other from our pasts, but i was VERY surprised today at what had happened... what had happened was....he starts talking the smallest bit of game with me, basically he just said, "is it me or is everyone really quiet here?" and so i just agreed with him and i said yeah i dont think people are talking game yet which is a little weird, and then i threw the TINEST tea crumpet out there and i said "yeah ive talked to some people so easily like you, but then there's others who.....i cant say the same for" and i was absolutely hinting at connor/kendall just because i havent had the longest convos with them, which no biggie, but THEN about 20 minutes later i get a message from CONNOR of all people saying "hey adam!" ..... obviously im glad to talk to him and im all for getting to know everyone, but my instincts immediately went off and told me it's a little sus....how not even a few minutes ago i was saying how some people never talk to me and then out of no where the one person i was mainly talking about messages me?? Coincidences don't exist in survivor. Now I really have no choice but to think that amir in someway mentioned to connor that i said theres some people i havent talked to at all and that he probably needed to work on that.. which is true, but cmon. i know the tribe brain cell is missing but at least put a little thought into this and message me later tonight or not right after i say it?? I'm not sure if they have any type of past connection and while I definitely do wanna keep building my relationship with Amir, this will definitely make me question him a little bit at least until i see how some votes fall when we eventually go to tribal. Amir also told me he's had the most convos with Augusto, which is funny because thats exactly how both me and aj feel about augusto, which tells me augusto is really playing the game rn, and while thats someone i want to work with, it's also someone i need to be extremely careful with if we're still playing together down the road. plot twist: connor messaging me has absolutely nothing to do with amir and i just made this whole conspiracy for nothing but idk.... it's a conspiracy IM interested in.

Something about Kendall is so chaotic and terrifying and I can’t put a finger on why.her aligning was her talking to me for the first time in a day saying “let’s align” and created an alliance chat without even asking who else should be in it which leads me to believe her Augusto and Connor already have a trio and I was the 4th. Are all these focking people playing me?? Like i still cant tell if this is a real alliance but i want to believe it is and not a bluff to vote me out. But also like why even do that, the only person on this cast that I trust and have played with, bodhi, has just been voted out. I’m a free agent and I can help that alliance make it far in the game, but they also have lots of relationships on other tribes so like I might not even be that valuable to them. I mentioned to Augusto about the numbers on the blog, hoping to create more trust because I really really love him and want to trust him but I’m still just so damn unsure. if we lose this immunity and I get one bad signal from any of those 3, if they slip up even once, I won’t hesitate to align and gather the minority. But if they are playing me properly, then kudos to them!

okay so... we aren't going to tribal but its still kinda messy on brawn beach. i kinda have felt this energy for a while, but i don't think jake and jordan have enough trust between the two of them for us to be a continual three person alliance. jake is a very reactive, gut-impulse kind of player which is honestly to his benefit since he is super perceptive. however that also means he is quick to be anxious about stuff in the game, which is the same as me and that is why we click. BUT. he thinks something is up with dan/jordan and honestly i see that and feel it. jordan keeps hinting at dan being the one to loop in and i think that does say something about them having some sort of game dynamic. however, jordan is maybe downplaying that relationship which is scary KLAF tbh i still like jordan and wanna work with him, but i do 100% have to keep tabs on him, his social connections could definitely become a problem if he has other priorities over me! so i think i just have to make sure im a continuing priority for him, so i have to find some sort of information to bring to him (maybe when dan proposes the alliance of me/jordan/jake/dan to me ill run to jordan and be like hey did dan suggest this to you how do you feel) to solidify that sort of trust? idk... i want my j-men to stick together and they ARENT. maybe i need to solidify stuff with TJ specifically more, he gives good ally vibes? but ya... its a mess tm

A Devils Regret

alright here’s the second part to this fic, dont worry yall there’s a happy ending here for these two. once again using @shinyzango‘s 2D Bendy AU for fun times

Henry had been walking in a sullen silence for about ten minutes now..His chest ached horribly now..actually everything on him had taken on a dull throbbing after being thrown about like some childs doll..But he didn’t think mentioning it in his present company was in good manners..Speaking of the little Devil..Bendy had been silent since Henry had fished his page out of the ink..the only thing letting Henry know Bendy was still there was a soft series of sniffles and hiccups..

Bendy felt absolutely horrible..there was no way to put it lightly that what had happened shouldn’t of, that something had gone wrong and nearly cost someone their life. And the more Bendy thought about it, the worse he felt..Something had..overtaken him during the fight, he enjoyed getting rid of those pesky ink blobs like they always did..but when Henry had tried to get him to stop something else inside said no..He watched himself chase Henry down, a part of him even liked holding the animators life in his hands. That part of him made him sick to his stomach..he had put Henry in mortal danger and Henry forgave him!! He had nearly ripped Henry to bits, that part of him had wanted to do it too, but..something let him take the wheel and when he did everything fell apart. He was scared of himself, scared for Henry being here, and scared of what could of happened had he not somehow gotten control again. He was at a loss for what to do..the only idea that came to him made his tiny devil heart ache fiercely, and that was to part ways with Henry.

Henry of course had no idea any of this was going through the little Devils mind..But he had some inkling about what was upsetting him. Henry in truth had been scared seeing Bendy in such a state, even more so that he had wound up on the receiving end of that rage..But he would not place the blame on the poor Devil, judging by how hard Bendy had been sobbing, he had no real want to cause him harm...And therefore something else must of caused the reaction. The only real problem now would be to find out what sent Bendy into such a state..and getting the other to calm down long enough to realize Henry wasn’t mad at him. Looking about he spied a door, one that thankfully wasn’t locked. After everything that happened, Henry thought he could use a rest and some peace and quiet. And while he knew there were no beds to be found, a quiet room with a chair and a lockable door were the next best thing. Slipping inside and locking the door behind him, he was glad to see the normal, almost comforting sight of a basic animators desk and chair..the dim bulb hanging from above set everything into a lazy setting..It’d do nicely for what was possibly going to be a long talk.

Sitting down in the chair, Henry let out a soft appreciative groan that he was sure his legs would of mimic’d if they could. Setting the now quiet paper on the desk he scooted the chair forwards and fell to silence..How was he supposed to start? It wasn’t a easy subject to broach honestly..there was no real gentle way to ask what happened..But before Henry could even try to sound out a single word..a soft voice broke the silence first..

“...y-you should of just left me there on that wall Henry..I’m no better than those..those things dontcha see? I almost....I-I almost k-killed you..just..just leave me here ok? You’re better off without me...”

The little Devil’s voice was dripping with grief and sorrow, Henry could feel his own heart pang softly listening to the others words..They felt that strongly about their actions enough to want Henry to leave them here? No..he couldn’t leave Bendy like that..it only proved to him that Bendy was innocent here..

“...B-bendy don’t say that abou-”

“IT’S TRUE AND YOU KNOW IT HENRY! ..I..I couldn’t control myself..I could of ripped you to shreds and I just about did!”

“ That wasn’t your fault Bendy..you lost control of yourself..Something happened and it made you lose yourself, just calm down and think for a minute..what do you remember before..well it all fell apart?”

“It’s no use tryin to explain it Henry..I’m dangerous to you and I don’t..I don’t wanna hurt you ever again...you don’t deserve that..you deserve to get outta here and live the rest of your life..Not to worry about when some useless ink stain on a piece of paper might stab you in the back like th-!?”

A fist being slammed into the desk was the only thing that stopped Bendy’s self-depreciation spiral from continuing onward, the noise and impact making the little huddled shape jump in alarm. Henry was rarely angry without good reason, he thought of himself as a well grounded man at times..But watching Bendy dig himself further and further down had sparked something he wasn’t quite sure the name of was yet. But he was angry nonetheless..not at Bendy but the way how he was so quick to blame himself for a accident..It had to stop, and Henry had to do something before the little Devil would most likely think otherwise.

“Now that’s enough of that, not one more word alright Bendy? I want you to listen to me, and I want you to remember every word.. What you did was not your fault, and never will be, you understand? You are not just some useless ink stain Bendy, you’re a lot more than that..Now I want you to answer me truthfully here..did you ever feel like attacking me the last few times you..well took on that big form of yours?”

“ ....n-no? But Henry I still hu-”

“No buts Bendy, but see? The last few times you had complete control..Something must of been different this last time you see? Now..what was different from the other times? I want you to think carefully now Bendy..”

“I don’t see why this matters I’m...okay, okay..stop looking at me like that first and lemme think..”

Each time he had heard Bendy protest and tell him it was pointless..Henry had adopted a rather stern glare..The little Devil couldn’t help but do as told when met with that sort of look, but he couldn’t quite understand why..

“Alright...well..there was a lot more ink than usual..it was up to your waist right? So..there were more of those blob things too..But last time there were alot of them too..and I didn’t lose control..Henry I don’t get it..”

“ Well you were right on both parts so far..Whenever you become that bigger version of yourself it’s always to settle a quick fight...But last time took alot longer didn’t it? We were fighting and clearing a path for a little while..”

“...Were we? I..I can’t remember, I was busy fighting all of them..I remember it being fun, knowing you were behind me fighting too..T..then all I felt like doing was fighting....A-and next thing I knew I was about to...about to..”

“Shhh..it’s alright Bendy..I think I know what might of caused this...”

“ Y-you do? What is it Henry?”

“...I think it was time..Or..how long you were stuck like that? Thinking back on the last few times you were like that..it was only for a few minutes at most..But, last time was a lot longer..I think this ink does something to you in that form..the longer you stay like that it might cause you to lose yourself..I mean look at the paper, it’s almost falling apart it’s so soaked....Actually why don’t we fix that real fast..?”

It wasn’t hard to find a blank sheet of paper and a pen to draw another line for Bendy to stand on..With a bit of coaxing he eventually transferred over to the new sheet..Henry could still see that he was upset about the whole event..But there was a slight general improvement at least..

A quick peek outside had proved the halls safe enough to walk back out into to continue their “adventure” into the unknown depths of the studio..However before Henry could get too far Bendy stopped him with a odd request..One that found him taking the little Devil back to the ink flooded portion of the hall once more..

“...Are you sure you want to do this Bendy? There’s nothing wrong with avoiding the ink for a while until you’re ready..”

“No Henry..I-I gotta be sure, you know? We can’t dodge all the ink down here..I wanna be sure of things so...so I don’t have another accident an get you in danger..”

It didn’t take Henry that long to return to the spot where it had all happened..Looking down at the piece of paper, Bendy gave him a nod to let him know he was ready..and set the paper down into the ink..At first nothing happened..But slowly a form began to take shape..It wasn’t quite as big, but still rather tall compared to Henry..He got the vague idea Bendy was metaphorically dipping his feet into the waters. Instead of the bulky figure he had seen several times before..was a much slender version, a foot or two taller than Henry was. There was clear evidence that Bendy looked nervous but hopeful as he looked over at Henry expectantly..

Bendy seemed to stare at his hands for a moment or two, flexing them a bit before nodding and giving a bit of a small smile. Looks like things had gone well so far for the little Devil, Henry thought.

“ Alright..you wanna call it quits for now? ...Bendy?”

Instead of reverting back to his usual state Bendy seemed to want to test his luck fully..Henry watched as the form swelled a bit..slowly becoming the more larger version Henry was more familiar with..When the transformation had stopped..Henry noticed Bendys face was screwed shut in fearful expectation..That feeling slowly crept back into Henrys mind..no matter what form the other took he was still just that goofy little Devil to him..and one that was afraid of himself. Deciding to help out just a bit..Henry reached out to lay a hand on the others shoulder, making the hulking Devil flinch in surprise. Cracking open his one eye he looked down at Henry with what looked like a mix of worry and surprise..

“See? Nothing to worry about big fella..You didn’t have to test it out, but you did..I’m proud of ya Bendy, long as we mind that time limit there’s nothing to worry about right? I’ll be sure to k-ah, Bendy what?”

Something about the words “Proud of you” had made the floodgates open up once again..Henry was..proud of him?? He was scared this entire time..Scared that the second he saw Henry he’d want to attack..But Henry was right after all, he could control it and Henry had trusted him from the get go..Relief had welled up in his heart as it sank in. Henry had absolute faith in him to do his best..even after all that..Henry quickly found himself wrapped up in another inky hug..the Devils head resting on top of his own as fat inky tears rolled down his face.. Henry couldn’t help but smile and comfort the sappy doodle with a few pats and a hug in return.

“ Shhh it’s okay..You did great just now Bendy..I told you it’d be alright didn’t I?”

While he thought it a big comical trying to calm down someone big enough currently to carry him, he was happy things had finally gotten back to normal. Bendy eventually returned to his normal paper bound state and the two of them resumed their walk down the halls. The two of them in much brighter spirits now than before, and now a great deal closer as well.
