One of my favourite tropes: 

The oblivious girl who has no idea that the guy is in love with her!

And there must be a conversation that goes something like this: 

“Of course he’s in love with you! How have you not noticed? It’s so obvious!” The friend exclaims. She turns serious and thoughtful. “When he’s around you...he’s different. You bring light into his life.”

I love this!!!!!! 

It’s so simple, and used all the time, but I love reading books where the main character finds out just how much this other person loves and appreciates them, and then watching how their relationship changes with this new realization. 

Simple, but beautiful every time.
