As a bi lady, I think bi masculine-presenting people are super fucking hot. Plus it’s awesome to be with other bis and just pointing at every beautiful person and drooling over them together.
And yeah ok maybeeeee I wanna date other bis so we can also have sex with other people of any gender but that’s not BECAUSE I’m bi.
Your sexuality is your greatest power. It's a blessing not a curse to be bi
For many years I carried self hatred, but isn't it funny how what you deem as your greatest 'weakness' is in fact your greatest strength?
when I stopped looking for acceptance from other people, I gained the most important thing acceptance from myself. Bro, accepting yourself and being confident in who you are is attractive af, others will see your light shining and come over to bask in in
Why is it ALWAYS the nonlesbians that dont care enough to educate themselves on why the "bi lesbian" lable is problematic or just support the lable???
Just saw a post (op will not be named, PLEASE DO NOT ATTACK THEM) saying that the whole 'bi lesbian' discourse doesn't matter because regardless if someone is bi, lesbian, or both, they are queer and that we should stop being angry at how people choose to label themselves as.
Gee sherlock I donno, maybe im upset because the label that person chose to identify as is ACTUALLY PROBLEMATIC AND HARMFUL TO BOTH THE LESBIAN AND BI COMMUNITY!????
YOU CALLING YOURSELF A 'BI LESBIAN' IS SAYING THAT LESBIANS CAN LIKE MEN IN ANY COMPACITY, WHICH BTW IS NOT TRUE. LESBIANS HAVE AND WILL NEVER LIKE OR INCLUDE MEN.
i’m so happy with bi-buck and the representation, however, the way some buddie shippers are suddenly so disloyal is rubbing me the wrong way! And I don’t mean the people that don’t mind tommy, and feel like it’s good for buck to have his own journey, and then finding his way to his one and true love eddie—i mean the people that are suddenly so okay with bucktommy being endgame or “they all have two hands” uhm no? It’s supposed to be buck and eddie. Or is it just that literally any guy is okay?? Because quite frankly then, what was the point of hating every girlfriend buck ever had? Bisexual means liking both, so that just seems a bit hypocritical to me…
Well would you look at this. 😵💫 Because obviously if you dare say anything as wild and controversial as “lesbians don’t like men, please stop using a label that hurts us and tries to force men into our identity” you’re a raging terf radfem transmisogynist. Because obviously ONLY trans women use the bi lesbian label and it’s not like there are transfem lesbians who are rightfully against the label as well or anything and it’s not like terfs use the label to refer to cis lesbians who date trans women and why can’t you just let people identify as how they want of course lesbians like men stop the infighting already if you disagree with me that lesbians can like men then surely that’s because you’re an exclusionist gatekeeper who hates trans women.
a lot of yous are getting very comfortable treating jean as ʼnot as queerʼ — despite being a confirmed bi character by nora herself — for only potentially being canon with renee at some point instead of jeremy lol what is that about ..?
I've reached season 5 on my CSI rewatch and I'm a few episodes past "Swap Meet", where a woman is murdered after attending a swing party with other couples from the neighbourhood. Near the end of the episode there's a moment that made me jump from my seat:
(Grissom walks up to Sara and takes the seat next to her. He's holding two cups. He hands her a cup of tea.)
[INT. POLICE DEPARTMENT - BRASS' OFFICE]
Erin Brady: Everybody fantasizes about other people. (She glances at Grissom.)
Even you, Mr. Grissom. A neighbor, a friend ... girl at the office.
[INT. POLICE DEPARTMENT - HALLWAY]
(The door opens. Paul Brady walks out of the hallway. Erin Brady walks out into the hallway. Sara is sitting in the hallway chair watching them. She watches as they meet and kiss.)
(Grissom walks up to Sara and takes the seat next to her. He's holding two culps. He hands her a cup of tea.)
LIKE!!!!!!!
Right after Erin ends her sentence with 'girl at the office', the first time Sara and Grissom meet again, he brings her tea. This might be an innocent interaction but to me it seemed like a nod to this relationship they have where both are into each other, know about the other's feelings, but can't/won't do anything about it (although Sara has kind of given Grissom an ultimatum). I don't know if it was intentional - I'm guessing it is, because I picked it up immediately. I might or might not have squealed in delight.
People who try to define lesbian solely by the exclusion on men and men aligned people are weird and come off as kinda immature to me
And I'm not just talking about the "nmlnm" people, I'm also talking about the people that will question a lesbian's sexuality if she idolizes a male celebrity, because no lesbian could ever like a man enough to put pictures of him all over her wall unless she wasn't really a lesbian
Apparently????
It's the people who make it a point that they have a distaste for or hatred of men, and they've tied that into their sexual orientation
Then they go "can we have something that's not all about men for once?", not realizing that by using the exclusion of men to define a certain identity they still are making it all about men
And talking about bi-lesbians with people like this always comes down to what is basically "well bisexuality can include attraction to men and I don't want boy cooties on my sexuality!"
The bisexual flag is a silent symphony of colors celebrating a powerful symbol of the beautiful complexity of loving across spectrums. To all my fellow bi folks: we are valid, we are loved, our love is beautiful, and our vibrant hearts are a gift to the world.
'oh so changing gender is all fine and dandy but when-' bro if a cishet guy started saying he would 'change' lesbian women you would laugh at him and call him homophobic (like a normal person would do) PLEASE shut up you biphobic shitface. being mspec isnt evil, liking men and women isnt evil, lesbians do not like men, gays dont like women, etc.
being bi isnt evil, being pan isnt evil, being omni isnt evil, etc.
'listen to history-' the history of 'bi lesbian' is rooted in transphobia and terf bs, yet anyone who disagrees with you is a terf..?
it was used to belittle lesbians who'd date trans women, saying that they were actually just bi, that trans women didn't count as 'real women'
but then again, since you consider trans men ''to still be forever linked to womahood forever and ever like theyll always be a girl forever and ever im not transphobic guys im actually so much super exinclusive because i support uh corrective rape uh men fetishizing lesbians uh i mean uh we support ''anti-terfism'' (insert that shitty 'pleading face' here)'' i wouldnt put that past you.
