Aha I totally didn’t get this idea after watching the original Cartoon Network Teen Titans and laughing my ass off at beast boy.

I’ll be honest, the first time you shape-shifted he didn’t even know it was you. Gave him a bit of a spook-
You were just chilling on the couch, trying to take a cat nap. Literally, you were a cat.
Then you heard the front door swing open. You opened one eye… And it was Tommy!
So you very excitedly hopped off the couch, making him look over and tilt his head. Since when did a cat get inside? Hoyt ain’t gonna like that…
But then suddenly the cat turned into a human! You to be exact!
Right when you were shifting back you jumped into Tommy’s arms (thankfully he caught you, but of course he would! Boy that man is STRONG!)
“Hi Tommy! How are you? Are you busy? We should nap together!” You quickly said.
Tommy’s heart beat quickened, shocked from your sudden appearance. He just stared at you confused. What are you? Please explain it to him.
But once you explain to him that you are a shapeshifter, what that is, and how you don’t know how or why you are what you are, he is much calmer. He thinks it’s unique! Just please don’t scare him again Y/n.
Yes he will take a nap with you. And if you shift into an animal he will happily stroke your fur. But only if you’re okay with that!

He would be so clueless as to why there was another dog, it would be hard for you not to immediately shift back and burst out laughing. So instead you jump on top of him, knocking him onto his back and licking a stripe up his face.
He would push you off (not aggressively. Bo is a murderer. Not a monster with animals) and wipe his face. And when he looked back up he was very confused as to why he was seeing you, sitting on your ass in front of him.
“Where’d the dog go?” And you’d just mischievously giggle before turning back into the dog and rubbing away with Jonesy.
Man. Was. Speechless.
You have a lot of explaining to do when he finds you.
And you do explain! Bo wouldn’t believe you if he hadn’t seen what happened in that garage. He is extremely confused but it doesn’t change his opinion on you! You’re his everything and whatever this thing you can do is isn’t going to piss him off… unless you steal his hat. Which, yes, you have done.
Vincent Sinclair

You sir Vincent down one day and explain your ability to him. You thought it would be better to do that then to scare him and have him unknowingly turn you into a wax figure.
He would listen carefully, nodding along, asking a few questions here and there. Then finally you show him.
You shifted into a bunny and sat on his lap. His body stiffened, unsure of what to do. But then you nudged your head into his hand, and he got the message.
He lightly stroked your soft brown fur. It seemed to calm him down? Maybe you should have shown him this a while ago.
And so now whenever Vincent is stressed, upset, or overall just needs some comfort, you will first offer him comfort as a human. But sometimes he just needs a break from humans. So then that’s when you shift into an animal and snuggle up on his chest, allowing him to stroke/pet you.
And of course he will make art of you. He’s always loved to make art of animals, and now he can have a reference up close that won’t kill him!
Bo did freak out however when he saw his twin snuggling with a lion on the couch one day though-

You were finished with all your duties and decided fuck it, let’s explore the walls.
You saw an opening in the kitchen and shifted into a small mouse. You crawled around the walls for a while, until you came across a man with a mask.
You of course freaked out. Why the fuck is there a man here! WHO ARE YOU?!
So you turned back into a human and screamed at him, hitting him with your hands. But then the person spoke. And he said your name…
And that was how you and real Brahms met!
Brahms made a new rule. ‘No shape shifting in the house!’ This then also changed the rule of Brahms not being aloud out of the house. Because he wanted to watch you do your thing outside!
The only exception to the rule is if he wants cuddles. And that needy little brat wants them a lot.
And if you do break the rule when he doesn’t say you can just shift into a dove! They are his favorite animal and he will instantly forget why he was frustrated with you :)
Jason Vorhees

It would be best to tell him of your ability before hand. When it’s not summertime he sets up traps around the camp to keep trespassers out. And you wouldn’t want to accidentally step on one!
So you did tell him and he thinks it’s super cool! Now he doesn’t feel quite as bad for being a zombie basically. Because hey! You’re special like him!
He still sets up traps but he makes sure to tell and show you where they are.
Sometimes you help him out by turning into a bird and flying above the camp to look for visitors. He likes this very much because then you aren’t in harms way. People can be very dangerous Y/n!
He knows how to take a joke so if you prank him he won’t be mad :) in fact he will probably get you back by sneaking up on you because that man may be huge af (AWOOGA) but GEEZ HE IS QUIET
Tiffany Valentine

This is a prompt i found in my drafts kinda like a really bad put together fic but enjoy lol
Wanda x Reader where they grew up together and went to struckers experience both thankfully surviving, Y/n has shapeshifting abilities like beast-boy & Martian manhunter so she can heal faster then a normal human, that’s why Pietro's alive bc she jumped infront of him.
Anyways, after Ultron Y/n kinda closes in on herself after almost dying (Wanda & Y/n are dating have been for awhile) She’s not smiling as bright or making jokes or pulling pranks like usual. Wanda drifts away from her thinking Y/n needed time by herself and she gets closer to Vision. Y/n sees this and pulls away even more bc she sees the way Wanda looks at him and it breaks her heart.
Pietro notices Y/n pulling away and takes her out to an arcade where they can just mess around and have fun. They’re eating pizza when he brings up that he has been noticing her pulling away from him and when he mentions Wanda she stiffens.
Pietro notices and asks if something happened between them and she says no but that’s the problem.
She tells him how she knows Wanda isn’t in love with her anymore how whenever she has free time she spends it with Vision.
How she does all the things she used to do with Y/n with Vision instead. Pietro’s heart breaks seeing Y/n cry and break down in his arms.
She’s always been like a big sister to him and it makes him angry at Wanda for treating her this way.
Even with Hydra Y/n kept her nonchalant dorky upbeat attitude always trying to bring light on such a dark time in their life’s and to see her break bc of Wanda hurt him.
When they get home Wanda and vision are cooking with them really close to each other Y/n leaves saying she needs to work off steam and Pietro walks toward them and tells Vision he needs to talk to Wanda (is totally rude to him too)
Wanda gets upset at the way he talks to him but pietro just speeds them away to his room confronts her about how she’s been acting with/ Y/n
Wanda realizes it but when Pietro asks Wanda if she still loves Y/n she realizes she doesn’t not in that way anymore.
Pietro looks disappointed in his sister and just leaves Wanda goes to find Y/n cuz they needs talk and she finds her in the gym sparring with Nat (them totaling getting their asses handed to them but Nats teaching her how to fight) she asks if she can talk to her and Nat leaves them.
They talk and Wanda spills how she’s feeling. “Yeah, I kinda figured it out a few weeks ago” she shrugs but inside her hearts shredding into pieces
“Does he make you happy?” Wanda says yes
“That’s all I want Wanda, that’s all I’ve ever wanted. If he makes you happy and treats you right who am I to stand in your way of happiness?”
Wanda tears up and hugs Y/n “Go get him!” y/n says with a strained smile but Wanda doesn't notice
Wanda leaves to tell Vision not noticing how Y/n’s world has just collapsed on top of itself. Pietro finds her that night chugging a bottle of whiskey. With another already empty.
“She doesn’t love me anymore” and then she breaks down, “I can’t stay here Pietro. I got an offer about a month ago from a man named Charles Xavier. They want me to go down and live with them at a mutant school says he can help me with my powers. At first I wasn’t going to take it because of you and Wanda but I don’t think I can be here Peet...I love you like my own brother and if you need me to stay here I will but-"
“No. If you need to leave I support you. You’ve always been here and protected us—me. Now it’s time you do something for yourself.”
Y/n talks to Natasha, Tony, and Steve about it and they agree that the Mutant schools the best.
As Y/n’s getting packed to leave Wanda barges in “You can’t leave!”
“I have to, it’s what’s best for me.”
“Is this because of me? You told me you wanted me to be happy! You leaving isn’t making me happy!”
“It’s not because of you” okay that’s a lie but it also wasn’t fully because of Wanda just mostly “The mutant school is what’s best for me. I have so much I have to learn with my powers and they can help. I do want you to be happy Wanda but what about my happiness?”
“Your right. I just don’t know what I’m supposed to do without you.”
“Pietros here and you’ll have Vision you’ll be alright.” Wanda internally flinches but knows you're right
She hugs Y/n “Don’t forget to call me”
“I will.” She never does.

Midnight Beast Boy Rant
I've posted before on here that I headcanon Beast Boy as gender fluid, and i'd like to go more in depth on my headcanon, though it is midnight for me and i'm barely conscious, so bare with me
So, I headcanon BB can change genders, and loves to switch freely like he switches from human to animal
I believe he can switch due to his animal shapeshifting ability
Anybody who knows a good bit about BB is that he can turn into anything biotic being, not just animals. It's canon that he can turn into extinct and mythical creatures, and even other people(though he doesnt because they'd just be green)
But no one really seems to think about how BB can switch genders too
There is canon evidence of him shifting into animals of another gender, like a cow. He can turn into a Bull(male bovine) and a cow(female bovine) for example
In conclusion to my short little dumb rant:
Don't get pissy over my feminine looking BB fanart and my female BB fanart, cuz it's justified by the canon lol

They're in a QPR bc I say so & also they're all in a band together. I like to think that in this universe, mutations are taboo. They might look cool, but some people think they're unnatural or scary, and bc of their mixed DNA, it's not easy for them to get good medical care. Some mutants have the ability to somewhat retract their more inhuman features, allowing them to look more normal, but some can do it to a further extent than others, and some can't do it at all. I have more cooking in my head about the lore of this world and the little guys that live in it, but this is just a little intro post for now!

The isekai genre but interesting
Ok I know isekai is overrated and all yada yada but there's been one specific idea that someone close to me proposed an just stuck.
So, what if the main character had dissociative identity disorder?
Like, think about it. The body dies irl and gets transported to a fantasy land with demons and witches and whatnot, and the alters are scattered across the country. They can still communicate due to their souls being LITERALLY connected but they don't recognise the landmarks they give each other; implying how they're all in different cities, states, kingdoms, etc.
So you'd at first follow one of the alter's journey, and as the alter finds the rest of the system the story switches povs to that alter that was found
And when the whole system is complete they all gain this extra ability that makes them able to 'front', where one alter can be seen while the others are able to hang out in their headspace and stuff.
And for the plot I was thinking of like a system's body dying in the real world, and their souls get transported to another world, but they all get separated. The system is small, consisting of 4 people. A 16 year old boy, a girl 3 years younger than him, a shapeshifter that prefers to stay a blob with glowing green eyes and a young demon with white hair.
The storyline follows the 16 year old dealing with the fact that what he considered his family (the system) is far away from him, and the fact that he can't see them. He's happy that he's in his actual body (being in the body of a girl a few years younger than him back in his past life was REALLY uncomfortable at first) but he misses easily slipping out of the world and talking to the other alters. He comes from a poor family and helps his parents (who are not abusive like the ones from his past life) out with work and ends up signing up to be a butler for one of the nobles.
He befriends the younger son of one of the nobles and manage to get a scholarship to a prestigious school thanks to being the younger son's butler and meets the first alter after 16 years of separation, the girl 3 years younger than him. I can just imagine the girl running up to him and hugging him from behind and when they both turn to look at each other they basically cry together since it's been so long since they've last seen each other.
They both would meet the shapeshifter and young demon later on when the two of them gets captured, with the shapeshifter basically throwing a hissy fit as the students gawk and try to poke the both of em. The chapter could end on like a cliffhanger with the 16 year old hearing about the shapeshifter and demon and then it switches povs to the shapeshifter.
Now obviously since the two non-humans had essentially been kidnapped the shapeshifter tries their best to try and protect the younger demon and basically chemically burns anyone who comes remotely close to them. Since it's in 1st person pov you could see the desperation and overprotectiveness of the shapeshifter to the demon and how theyre basically on the verge of a panic attack when the 16 yr old and the girl waltz into the room and basically makes the blob freeze.
And yknow typical isekai anime style everyone wants to kill the eViL bAd dEmOns and shit until the 16 year old claims that the demon's life is connected to both him and the girl. This kickstarts a mystery/thriller plot as the now-completed system try to figure out just why demons are so hated, while trying to deal with how the hatred of demons makes the system a target for bullying and shite like that. Only to find out that the reasons all of the magical species (like elves and furries I guess-?) united with the humans to destroy the demon race was to shift the blame of humans to another species that was AT FIRST, innocent. After some human intervention, demons had became what they are today, aka bloodthirsty war-mongering beasts who are brutes and such (if the rumors are to be believed).
The only reason the non humans of the system (the shapeshifter and demon) aren't like that is cuz theyre not from the world. So watch as the system basically force their asses in difficult politics and shoehorn world peace because 'goddamnit our last life had too much of that bullshit'.
Also to make things spicier: idk if this is just me torturing the first mc or the guy I'm basing the 16 yr old boy being persistent but the 16 year old and the noble he's working under are def fucking-

Last post reminded me, in one of Joshua's diary entries he describes chasing Dolly (who is like 10) around as skunk as a game, and to be sure I double checked with Malcolm that Dolly would indeed know what a skunk is and would rationally be wary of them, because of the aforementioned exclusivity to the Americas and there being a decent chance that there are probably parts of Faerun and even the sword coast where one might never see a skunk ever. I made Sy and Joshua a pair of Canucks though and when deciding on what "creatures of the night" for Joshua to be drawn to, I approached it like some do for druid wildshapes, where they pick animals that are typically found in the type of environment/climate their character lives in. (In addition, Joshua feels most connected to animals that are considered pests/vermin by most cultural standards, but we won't go into that). Anyway so in this diary entry about testing out his shapeshifting abilities, he goes over how he's figured out how to shift into a raccoon, a swarm of rats, and then of course he can be a little skunk, as a treat.
Well of course Malcolm also weighs in to let me know that Strahd probably hasn't seen a skunk before, seeing as Barovia is based on Eastern Europe, not to mention that it's completely closed off. So picture this ten year old boy running to hide behind his surrogate vampire dad, yelling about "Joshua turned himself into a smelly beast!!" And up comes Joshua round the corner, like maybe 5 lbs of black and white fluff with short legs and a tail like a feather duster. He freezes, mortified, realizing Strahd's seen him like this now and there'll be no recovering from this humiliation. Then the fucking dread Lord himself just puts on an amused grin and picks this strange little animal up with one hand like it's a damn telephone receiver, revealing it's silly, pink little feet while poor Joshua tries his best not to die from embarrassment.
Imagine that, like how funny that would be to him that with the myriad powers bestowed upon him by becoming a vampire, of all the fearsome nighttime creatures that lurk in the dark, you find out your newest consort has decided to just be a little nasty creature. Like wait, what else can you turn into? Oh, well, it's also a nasty little creature, but fatter and with cleaner hands. Like obviously these are animals you don't want to piss off but also you could easily turn into a mountain lion or some shit. I asked Mal what Strahd would think and he just said "he thinks it's cute".
Devastating.
Imagine being Joshua and having to go to dinner later with the other consorts all around the table with him "So I heard you can turn into a teddy bear now, how quaint." "Volenta please, he's still learning! I'm sure he'll be able to turn into a full grown cat with just a little more persistence." "Ladies, stop being mean, Joshua's just trying out more harmless animals as practice." Just brutal.

Do the benophie babies inherit any powers in the umbrella au?
They do indeed!
Charlie: has the ability to animate objects and make them move and act on their own accord.
Alex: can spit venom that causes targets to suffer with hallucinations upon reaching their face (basically Jayme from the Sparrow Academy's power).
William: shapeshifter who can metamorph into any animal he wants (think Beast Boy from Teen Titans).
Violet: and sweet little Violet is essentially a human boggart - she can shapeshift into anyone's worst nightmare.

oh so the Fae like. Change the seasons? (Pixie hollow) cool! What sort of abilities do they have? Are there “castes” or just different types/species of Fae?
1. sort of— the courts help the seasons function in the fae realm to keep everything running “naturally” (in a scene in the original comic, Halys (winter) mocks Pieridae (spring) for being ‘late as usual’ which is meant to be a dig at them being irresponsible and not doing his job) What’s important to understand is that unlike pixie hollow, the fae realm in Woodward isn’t technically a place on earth. You can’t just hop back and forth between the two easily— it’s closer to narnia/wonderland, or maybe the upside down, in the sense that the two places are connected but it’s more of another dimension then another country (unluckily for Steller)
2. I’m gonna answer the last one first because it will make things a little easier. Sort of both, but the caste system is really just The Queen, high fae (fae that She made/her children), and minor fae, which is essentially everyone else. There are also beasts, which technically aren’t fae but are still magical. There are a lot of different categories of minor fae that Steller has made a note of, (mushroom folk, bug fae, changelings, trolls, etc etc) but the fae care less about those distinctions.
3. All fae have minor magic abilities but that can depend on their role or species. The court you belong to often influences what type of magic you have. High Fae have more magic than any other fae. I’ll give you a run down of their abilities.
- Halys can control ice and snow, he also has intense hunting abilities (and I mean magical hunting abilities- think a high level dnd ranger)
- Hespera can control storms and other summer weather phenomena. She can also influence plant growth, but not much. She can also speak to non magical animals, which is not actually a skill all fae have.
- Psyche is a shapeshifter, and also has better powers of persuasion than any other fae, save the queen. As I’ve mentioned before, Psyche’s mind control really just leaves people very suggestible, but they don’t use it for anything nefarious, because most people will do what they ask anyway.
- Pieridae is often considered the weakest of the four, though not because her power is bad, but because they lack good control. Pieridae can control plant life ie. Poison ivy, and has some control over non living matter as well, but only in small amounts (ie. He can make a small rock a different shape)
- All fae also possess name based magic, which is simply a power of persuasion over people whose name they have, but it only works if the other person actually believes you have some power over them (for instance, a random minor fae couldn’t go up and demand that Pieridae hop on one leg. Dae would laugh at them. If Halys told Dae to though…. This will also be explored further in comic. Some fae share their names freely, most do not.

Basi
An evil organization in Twisted Wonderland. They’re more secretive than STYX and many consider them as urban legends or ghost stories, but what they do to the poor souls they find is pure evil. People say that if you wonder too far into the dark forests or shadowy places of the land, then you’ll never come back to your family. Though they have other locations, designed for different purposes and assignments, the headquarters resides in a large underground base and kills anyone who comes close to finding out their secrets. However, if your deemed good enough a worse fate than death awaits you…
Canon World
The place that both Castor and Fanner were held how until they were taken to Black Pearl College and Night Raven College respectively. Fanner was a brainwashed assassin/soldier who had been perfectly following orders. He got captured when he and a few friends had wondered into the woods. Most of the group was murdered in cold blood by the horrible experiments and soldiers, one escaped hanging on death’s door and one was captured. The soldiers were very impressed with how Fanner fought off a mutt. The mutt bit off his left arm, leaving only a stump when he killed the mutt with a stone. The soldiers closed in on him as he passed out. While he was passed out, they shipped him off to the Island of Woe to repair and train him.
The Island of Woa location is known as Warriors Lair as it makes the deadliest weapons and soldiers. When Fanner woke up, his arm was metal and the brainwashing process started. The Island of Woe is where he would remain for years, making it his home. When the commanders were satisfied, they released him onto the island. He was the perfect weapon. He followed orders without question and hesitation, never spoke back and obeyed. He became a cautionary tale for the residents and many were determined to capture him. After a battle with the friend that almost got killed by Basi, he began wondering about his life before the killings. Then the black carriage showed up.
Castor is a different story. He was captured shortly after his parents were brutally attacked and killed by mutts. What surprised the soldiers on duty is the boy, taming the beasts to spare his mother. They knew they had a beast tamer on their hands. One soldier grabbed the boy and took him away as the other killed his mom. Castor was two at the time of his parents deaths and doesn’t remember the event. He was brought to headquarters and became an experiment. The scientists tampered with his DNA to give him shapeshifting abilities to lead a pack of beasts into battle. That place was the only place the boy knew as ‘home’ until he got a bottle that smelled of the sea in his bunk.
Magical Girl AU
Still secretive but work with the villains. They still run experiments and such but lend them to the villains. The gems for the Princess of Heart is something they want, with the power of the gems the experiments and tests can reach new levels. They have an agreement with the villains to get some of the power for their deeds.
Fanner is one of the organization’s best creation. He is constantly working with the villains or solo. He’s known as the Masked Hunter due to him wearing a black combat like mask that covers the bottom half of his face. His biggest mission is to capture the Maidens and get the gem. Once the gem is in his hold, then he can kill them. He has come close to killing the Maidens, individually but not together.
Castor is a victim of the organization. He’s seen many horrors in his life there, and gained his abilities to shapeshift. It’s not until a mission for the Maidens that he’s rescued. Estella is one of her friends, trying to gain more information about the new foe when they heard screams. They followed the sound until they came across Castor being tortured. Estella quickly bursts in the room and knocks out the scientists experimenting on him. She couldn’t leave him there. She then takes him to her home, under the guise that he’s a foster child. He frequently visits the Maidens hideout and sees Estella as an older sister, calling her ‘Big Sissy Stella’.
Triva
The name is taken from the mythical creature the Basilik, known for its ability to kill with its stare

Personality: Kida is a slug-like being created by the Powers (now rebranded as the Elderman ) for infiltration missions. The moment she comes in contact with the beings of the world she takes their essence and DNA becoming similar to beast boy. If she comes in contact with a God or Goddess she will take into herself all of their powers and make them her own. When the Furies purchased Kida from a traveling merchant she absorbed One ability from each of the furies, Alecto’s shapeshifting abilities, Megaera’s Divine sight, and Tysephone’s snake hair, hens why one of the furies is blind and the other one bald. She also absorbed the most dangerous and vicious aspects of the furie’s personality becoming extremely volatile, vengeful vindictive and toxic. She embodies the worst aspects of the furies. When Alecto Megaera and tysephone decided to become “the kindly ones” they placed all of those aspects inside Kida and sealed her away in the mansion never to be seen again. Until Gil found her by accident and set her evil free into the world. The Name Kida is not her real name, its just the name given to her batch, stands for Kinetic Identity Devouring Ameba. Its why she’s on a test tube in the cover of vol 1. When she is killed by the forth determining factor they are able to clone her thru her hair and the flipped off middle finger that were left after the fight. The KIDA Gil travels with is an enhanced clone after vol 5. She’s also extremely promiscuous and has over 190 children over 20,000 years of existing with 87 other partners and husbands that came and went, and a xenomorph too. She also has about 11 “adopted” children that she looks after. While being a horrible being that borders on the Lovecraftian she’s a devote mother and has never once neglected a single one of her extended family who have all survived to have children and grandchildren. There are entire villages of Kida descendants. She will do Everything in her Power to protect her children often doing amazing feats while doing so. The most important and pivotal event in the history of the universe, the defeat of the final abandon was done while Kida was protecting one of her babies.

I don’t really know you, but I too want to get in the community more and know more people! Writeblr can be a struggle!
Hi, thank you for the ask and the kind words! I've been working on the answer for a while because tbh I have so many wips (ENFP issues with finishing stuff) that I had to choose those that do have a chance to be completed someday haha
So these are my more advanced wips:
Route LXVI. Status: Fixing plotholes, reducing the number of words, and editing in general. It's my only slice of life so far. I began writing it because I wanted to practice my English and use a real-life setting. I got hooked haha. It tells the story of Liv (Olivia), whose past has affected the way she approaches relationships. The story follows her character development throughout the events that take place around her. I actually wrote a synopsis, soo copy-paste:
Living with her sister in Orlando, with an exhausting job and trying to finish her studies, Olivia has no interest nor time for distracting stuff. But after her online friends suggest she should start taking her gaming channel more seriously, her life changes. Quite literally. Behind anonymity, Liv can have whichever life she wants, away from her most hidden secrets. The new hobby allows her to turn into LXVI, a joyous and bubbly girl with a perfect life. And maybe that's what Liv needs to feel happy again. But, she also has to deal with real life as well, including bad choices, faulty relationships, and the hot new problem called Damien. And, when real and virtual life mix, how many lies are too many lies? How much can you trust someone on the other side? And, what happens if you fall in love with a boy on the other coast of the country?
Lunática. Status: writing. Genre: fantasy. The idea is to have the story set in the current modern world but with magic creatures aka Beasts (werewolves, vampires, witches, and the like), and Hunters of those. It's a mash-up of some different blorbos I previously had and couldn't manage to finish, so I'm still working out how they fit together. In the basic storyline, the main character's family (code name: Lex) belongs to the Hunters faction, but she doesn't know anything about this. Until she saves a "wolf" and later finds a human with the same wound markings, so she adds two + two. As a bonus, she develops water powers that change according to the Moon phase... and she wears hearing aids, which sometimes pick up voices that shouldn't be there... I want to play around with synesthesia, portals, clans, and abilities for this one.
Ichor. Status: planning and world-building. Just like the previous wip, this is a mash-up of ideas, but now in a High Fantasy medieval-like setting where different realms come into play. In this world, the only creatures that are magical by nature are the inhabitants of the other realms (which in layman's terms are shapeshifter angels and demons). Humans have discovered that they can also cast spells if they use the blood of the first group, and this leads to the expected wars, refugees, famine, closed realms, and prejudices. The main character's story is still a mess of imagery I'm yet to put together, but the main idea is for her to be a shapeshifter affiliated with the human military who slowly discovers the plotting going on behind closed doors, as well as the truth about her past.
By the stars foretold. Status: writer's block. This is a High Fantasy set-up where I have 4 different narrators whose stories are alternatively told through the chapters. Each one belongs to a different background, culture, ideology, classical nature element... Their code names are Ruby, Zak, Silva, and Enzo. They intertwine and separate along the story while they all pursue their own goals, which slowly converge into the same one, in a sort of "tangled destinies" story, and I plan for at least one of them to become a 'villain'. There are dragons and other magic creatures, different countries in war, magic academies, royalty plots, tournaments, and bustling city life. The issue? I started writing with no plan in mind because I just wanted to enjoy the characters, and now I've reached a point where I should already know what the end game is. Besides, some ideas overlap with the previous wip! I still have a long way to go but at least I like where it is going.
So these are the most advanced, but I have more blorbos around there which are just a basic idea and some scenes, names or even endings: I have a wip about a magic (called Modulation) Academy where everyone has their own ability, and I have the beginning and the end but not the middle xd.
Anyways! Thanks for letting me ramble! Writeblr is indeed a struggle and this has immensely helped me start expressing myself (and I really like your blog, btw!).

BNHA VERSES; THE KITSUNE
(Since all of these characters are connected rather closely, this post will serve to sum up the verse for all of them!)
Inari Yoko is the Head Superintendent of the Hero Public Safety Commission's Internal Investigations Department. Her job focuses around on investigation into heroes, hero agencies, and the commission itself; a regulating body that can enforce rules and dole out criminal and civil punishments. On paper, her quirk is "Bewitch", a fragrance that turns aggressors to admirers. Truth be told, though, the power of "Bewitch" is much stronger-- and not even her real quirk.
Inari's real quirk is Consumption; she acquires the quirks of people by eating them, although each new acquired ability worsens the gnawing hunger she feels daily. Bewitch is one of these quirks, as is Fire-Breathing and Nine-Tailed Beast.
Inari is also not her real name. Her true name is Ii, and she was, at some point, the elder sister of Rikiya Yotsubashi, although denied her birthright. As she grew older and realized the MLA would always cast her in his shadow, she decided to leave-- after eating her betrothed.
Now, as the Head of Internal Investigations, she maintains a double life; on top, a respected member of public safety. Behind, though, she rules a criminal enterprise that consists of "erasing incidents" and extorting criminals and naughty heroes from the commission's eye. Very few organizations last long under her eye, whether raided officially or off the record by her subordinates. That being said, as of now she avoids encroaching on the affairs of All for One; a fragile but long-lasting truce out of respect for another well-established villain empire.
Nobimaru (or, known to the public as "Homuramaru Nowaki") is her assistant; a strange and unreadable individual. To the public, he's her assistant and a "mascot" of sorts; only ever appearing as a 13 year old boy with black fox ears and a tail, which is assumed to be his quirk. His colleagues at the commission are under the same impression, as are those outside of a select few in their criminal affairs. His true self is an adult; a young man with long legs and a much looser way of speaking. His real quirk is Kitsune, a powerful combination of shapeshifting and flame. He frequently shifts between age and gender and species to achieve his goals, and rarely breaks his enigmatic facade.
Nobimaru would have been the perfect Meta Liberation soldier; a fact that led his disillusioned mother to send him away down the mountain as a young child. This would then be covered up and shifted to frame a senior member of the army with being responsible for the disappearance (and presumed death) of a member of the Yotsubashi family, allowing for newer executives to fill in and soothe political upset in the group. His mother is Inari Yoko; a fact she is unaware of, given his efforts to change his hair color and physical age when she is present. As far as she's concerned, he is simply a very capable assistant.
In later-canon threads, Nobimaru will be missing his right arm, having replaced it with... something. Damaged in a skirmish in which Shigaraki was involved, Nobimaru's hand became useless, and so he chose to rip the whole arm off and replaced it with what I will tentatively call an "experimental technology" prosthetic. It is not safe and appears to be actively harming him. But Nobimaru is the type of person who will damage his body in pursuit of his goals.
Hinata Haruka (a woman who rarely uses her given name at all and finds it odd to do so) is a member of the Special Investigation Unit, a group put together by Inari and Nobimaru to do their dirty work, especially with the amount of activity springing up in the villain world. They hold the title of "Investigators", but rarely do any actual work for the commission. A fact which works well for her; she hates filling out paperwork in the slightest.
Hinata has a rather useful quirk: Solar Flare, which produces a flame so hot and concentrated that, when channeled properly, can cut cells so finely it doesn't damage them. She uses this in conjunction with a giant nata knife, severing steel beams and limbs alike.
Her specialty in dismemberment isn't entirely of her own will, or even born out of a particular desire for violence-- her partner, a man named Robara, has the quirk Glue Gun; which allows him to turn any organic material he produces into a transforming "glue" he can use to do anything from healing injuries to making weapons. The problem is more to do with him, though-- a mass murderer and serial assailant who, when left alone, will tear people limb from limb and rearrange them into "crafts". Hinata's skill allows them to re-assemble people without permanent injury or loss of function, unlike his "messy edges".
She has been "dating" Robara since they were 5, having befriended him despite his odd tendencies. She went over to play at his house, and found him sleeping on a bed made from his own mother. Horrified, she held him, and he mistook this as a confession of love and responded in kind.
She took him home, and covered up that he was the cause of the incident, and her family took care of him. As time went on, though, and his violent behavior worsened, her family began to express a concern about them dating. This would lead to Robara threatening to kill Hinata's family on multiple occasions, and out of desperation, she left home at 15 to run away with him. They would seen then enter a life of crime, which a decade later would result in the two of them being recruited for the SIU.
Hinata believes Robara is incapable of taking care of himself and can't help his "urges", a fact he is more than happy to emphasize and manipulate in order to keep her from leaving him. In truth, she despises killing, and would have liked to have been a school teacher.
