"You look... woah"
For my fellow Bakusimps who wear dresses once in a blue moon, leaving necks cracked and jaws slacked.
Tumblr media
You usually don't wear dresses and Bakugou knows that. He knows how dresses make you uncomfortable in one way or another; whether it be too stuffy, too frilly, too restrictive, too revealing, too non-revealing, too party-esque or too granny-style.
He knows if you had to pick between dresses and jeans, you'd go for the latter.
So imagine his surprise when he sees you wearing a dress.
Not only are you wearing a dress, you look like an absolute goddess in it.
You chose a simpler dress, showing off and highlighting your features in the best ways possible. The colour making your skin glow, the seams perfectly hugging your curves and edges, the longer part of the dress trailing behind you as you walk making it seem as if you're elegantly gliding across the room with the poise one would expect of a forest nymph or a princess.
You look ethereal and wide red irises follow your movements as you flit across the room, making sure everything's ready before leaving for your date with him.
You let out a sigh as you stand in the middle of your living room with your hands on your hips, your beautiful hair blowing slightly at the wind seeping in through the open window of the balcony.
"Okay, I think we're all ready to go!"
As you turn, taking one last sweep at everything, a pair of callous hands slide onto your waist that looks so pretty in that dress and you're spun around by your hunk of a boyfriend whose pupils are blown wide as he drinks in your form.
You laugh at his expression.
"What?"
"Nothing, princess, just... you look... woah"
You chuckle as you look up into his pretty eyes.
"I look 'woah'?"
He nods with a smirk.
"You look 'woah'..."
You laugh again as you plant a kiss on his nose.
"Shall we get moving, my 'woah' boyfriend?"
He returns your grin with one of his own as his hand slides into yours, leading you out the door.
"Yeah, let's go, princess. Gonna make everyone at that restaurant drool down their chins."

so i was thinkingggg
should i do a bakugo and reader fanfic where its set in a desi setting? like indian, Pakistani, or bangladeshi setting.
and like the trope is slow burn and marriage of convenience. AND CHILDHOOD FRIENDS.
basically bakugo and your parents happen to be in the same social circle and so basically you and bakugo often saw each other at several parties and events such as weddings and family gatherings.
you guys were particularly close but werent exactly strangers to each other. growing up you, bakugo, and izuku would run off somewhere alone to play around at these events. but as you all grew older you both stopped showing up to these events as often. well...mostly bakugo. you and izuku would show up to these family events and such with your parents quite alot more then bakugo would.
you and bakugo stopped seeing each other as often eventually and drifted apart. the friendship and joy you two shared together as kids are now distant memories. especially with bakugo moving to japan to chase his ambition.
but soon enough after your twentieth birthday you hear his coming back and his parents are arranging a friendly gathering with close family and friends and that they are back in their motherland. and of course, your family is also invited.
you dont think much of it, really. its such another one of those events and family gatherings you have grown customed to growing up where you did.
it isnt odd in the slightest to get invited someone's home in occasions such as this.
but what is odd is the way your dupatta gets stuck in his watch and suddenly your not looking at anyone but him. but its not like he is in any better condition then you. he is also frozen. just staring. staring at you.
your eyes are locked with his and suddenly you dont seem to remember why you looked behind your back. why? because you felt a tug on your dupatta? thats not what matters to you right now. because with the air getting knocked out of you with the way his so far but...feels so close. you can see all the features of his face so clearly. he has certainly grown much, much more handsome in the time you two were apart for the past 7 years.
but did his eyes always look at you like? no...not when you two were kids, no.
and that fact only makes you all the more aware that you two arent just two kids sneaking away from your parents to play in a abandoned room in the far corner where no one will bother you both.
his a man. and your a women.
a soft chuckle from him breaks you out of your trance. its a intoxicating sound. his voice is deep, you note.
''not gonna untangle your dupatta, chutki?'' theres that sexy smug smile on his lips when he says that.
you cant help but roll your eyes at the nickname. its the same exact one he called you ages ago. but thats when you didnt even know where babies come from.
if it werent for his handsome face, he best bet you'd slap his face one way or another. just like old times.
but that lighthearted air that surrounded you both is now far gone with you sitting across from him. your parents at your side and his mother and father right by his.
the air is filled with grim air that only you and bakugo can sense. your parents seem to be in their little world.
their beating around the bush is obvious enough. you can already tell what this is about. and so can bakugo.
and non of you know how to feel about it. but one thing is clear, your both not kin on the idea.
''you two have grown of age. its time for marriage isnt that right?'' your mother says with a friendly smile on her face. and you so wish you could just bury yourself into a hole right then and there. sure you knew it would happen. your parents have been quite open about getting you married, saying its high time you give them a grandchild before they bite the dust. because apparently your elder sister and brother wouldnt. your brother is too focused with his multimillionaire company while your sister claims her job as a lawyer is much too demanding to spare time for marriage of all things. so now the pressure of marriage is upon you. but him? bakugo of all people? why?
you and bakugo both eye each other at your mother's words. surely...she cant be..?
''we think you two should get married. you two are a good match for each other.''
and all hell breaks loose. thats the sentence you were anticipating. bakugo is the first to express his disapproval.
''hell no! old hag are ya outta your mind?'' he shouts.
''you have to get married eventually. isnt it better to marry someone who your familiar with rather then a stranger? maybe there would have been more options open if only you didnt chase off girls by the mere sight of you, boy!'' his mother voiced. the volume of her words matching her voice.
bakugo grumbles at his mother's words, shooting her a glare.
you wanna escape. of course you do. because hell no were you gonna marry bakugo katsuki. no offense but that guy is NOT capable of being a good husband. you'd rather marry a beggar on the street then him. but its not like you can say that outright with several eyes on you.
''....abba, mami, is this...necessary?'' you gave both your parents an uncertain look. definitely trying to some how talk them out of this conversation and just go home. you cant bear to sit here and listen to this any longer.
''well...its already settled.''
you frown.
''what?''
''its settled. its not like you two would ever get married on your own record to begin with. so...your father and i as well as katsuki's parents decided that we set it up before you to can back out.''
what was to come now in your future married life?
(just a little thought lmfao lemme know if yall want me to write it <3)

ahhhh!!!! i love seeing desi rep in ffs, it rly makes my day <333 not indian myself, but we have v similar cultures! i’m totally in love w katsuki so now i’m having thoughts of cooking with him & teaching him about south asian cuisine since he loves spicy food so much, because it’s a completely diff flavour profile to japanese food. he’s so cute!!!! & him being curious about the mehndi all over your arms and thinking u look so pretty in your kameez & churiyan <3333
omg absolutely yes
he would totally just come up to you randomly asking how to cook something he saw on some website
and just so you know he would hate laung, from the bottom of his heart
like, one day he was just eating some biriyani(that you cooked together) and then his mouth felt bitter yet somehow smoky because he accidentally chewed on laung.
you had mehendi on and he wanted to try it too, cuz why not? (you looked way too pretty to not match with-)
he loves the way it's colour blends in your skin, makes him want to see each and every detail and what beautiful design it turns into
bitch couldn't sit still without touching anything, boy has sweaty hands, he sniffed it too. did not like the scent all that much. but he calmed down and now you two have matching mehendi!!
saw you get excited about cricket, cuz its your country playing!! you have your face painted in your flag's colours and the excitement he saw on your face made him cheer as well
asked you to teach him cuss words and insults, apparently his normal insults in japanese were getting boring.
now he yells cuss words and people usually get offended without understanding what he said
you call him mera jaan, and this bitch now calls you pyar, you don't know where he learned that but you aren't complaining
he gave you a champi cuz it reminded you of home :D
well anyways thank you so much anon! I was really reluctant to write anything but now I feel like writing more :)))

BAKUGOU X READER HEADCANNON FOR MY LOVELY WRITERS
im too delusional for using a tollywood movie to give me a bakugou x reader headcannon but hear me out. Okay so in a past fantasy au life where deku bakugou and the rest of them either own a realm within asian or work for their king/queen. bakugou is prince of the dragon rhealm (obvs) with kiri being his personal dragon. And then there’s you gonna make the reader indian cus why not do it for my south asians but your the princess of a much smaller realm. I’d like to think how the two of u meet is cus suki is travelling around asia as a punishment by his mum for idk fucking something up ( maybe beating up someone from the todoroki family lol ) and so when he’s visiting india he’s near ur realm. And whilst we’re outside your kingdom there’s a few bandits being menaces to a nearby village tryna rob families of their gold and hurt the women. And suki thinks of interrupting but kiri stops him for a moment saying this could cause a fallout with the realms cus apparently this intefers w other peoples business ( crazy ik ) so whilst suki is like arguing w kiri he hadn’t noticed your carriage door open. Only when a shawl sort of waves up and down attracting many of the bandits does he start to focus on you. He sees how the rich silk dresses your skin, the gold jewellery shining under the sun. But damn that shawl he cant see your face. Until a sword pierces through the shawl stabbing three of the bandits. From the cut on ur shawl he sees ur eyes first ( if you guys havent clocked this is devasenas entrance from baahubali i usggest yall watch it ) and from then on he sees your whole face as you fight against the bandits successfully winning.Long story short yall fall in love u find out hes this big prince. sick. except suki gets a message back from his mum telling him to bring you back for dabi so that you can be his wife before he is to return shortly. Ofc u get pissed suki knows his mum however does not have a choice if she is to maintain the peace amongst all realms of else it can cause a huge war. he says he will only bring u as a guest back to his home to which u agree. again long story short baahubali 2 story i suggest yall watch it. but yeh no so basically u go to sukis as a guest not as a potential wife, yell at dabi for his misogynistic view of love, find yourself being the catalyst for a major war w basicaally all the league of villains againt mha main cast. Someway along the line ur kidnapped by dabi raped horribly, tortured blah blah blah. when everyone meets at the battle, youre thrown to the floor for all to see your state. bakugou swears to kill dabi which u both do together, ur given basic soldier clothing after suki coaxed u to take rest instead u reply with “ i fight” but as your both walkign to each other near the end of the battle shiggy crushes bakugous heart. suki falls on top of u, u cry like how wanda did over her brother falling to ur knees before being shot by arrows and dying too. PAST LIFE DONE. so now in the current mha world u and suki r both well known heroes but ur like also top 2 in india but ur now moving to japan for a long term mission at a hero conference ur hand brushes against suki which reminds him a bit about his past life tho he cant see ur face from his memory. when he turns to see who brushed his hand he finds himself in a crowd with so many possibilities. u guys can take it from there

Summary: Katsuki takes you to dinner. You find it difficult to keep your guard up when he’s so respectful and charming.
Adult!Bakugou x Forensic Detective!Reader
⚠️ drinking. suggestive themes. violence.
l Previous l Next l
Tumblr media
Dinner with Katsuki is precisely what you dreamed it would be: seamless and firmly rooted in his brand of romance. He takes you to a place that serves authentic Indian food. It’s right near the station. As soon as you enter, rich aromas of masalas and spices waft past your nostrils. Immediately, you begin to salivate.
“Fuck, it smells good in here,” your date mumbles. “Can’t wait t’ dig in.”
“Tell me about it,” you mumble.
In no time, a waitress collects you at the door. She guides you to a table amongst a small crowd of people. A few of them take notice of Katsuki and whisper excitedly between each other. You gulp. You hadn’t thought about the consequences of dating a pro hero. What will publicity bring?
“Ignore ‘em.” The blonde says gruffly. “Tonight’s about me ‘n you, not any of these extras.”
You cringe. He’s certainly not afraid to voice his opinions, hoping intimidation is enough to keep gossipers at bay. Fortunately, he’s right.
You both take a seat. He sets your knapsack down on the chair next to you. The waitress hands you a couple of menus, and you take your time going through them. The table is quiet as you decide. The atmosphere is light and soothing. The nerves you felt at the start of your date are dissipating.
You order your food, as does he. A glass of wine for you, and a double of whiskey for him. The waitress scurries off to fulfill it, leaving the two of you alone again.
Your mind is racing. Breaking the ice is hard. His fiery gaze is boring into you and he doesn’t appear ready to chat anytime soon. The only thing you can focus on is the case you just solved, so you use that to toss your nervousness out the window and initiate conversation.
“S-so, I’m glad we caught him,” you stammer. “The villain, I mean. Today.”
He leans back in his chair and shrugs.
“Yeah. Piece of shit should rot in Tartarus f’r what he did.”
You nod absently. Where he’s going, you hope he isn’t able to harm anyone else. The suffering he’s caused the family of his victims is enough for one lifetime.
“Did you have trouble capturing him?”
“Nah.”
“Th-that’s good.”
“D’ya think I asked you out t’ talk about work?”
His brows are furrowed and his mouth twisted into a petite frown. You lick your lips, heat flooding your cheeks. That’s what you get for acting impulsively. Why are you so uncomfortable with silence?
“S-sorry,” you mumble, embarrassed. “I just… I guess I don’t know what else to talk about.”
Katsuki appreciates your honesty. In the past, he’s been on dates where his partner scrambled to fill the silence, eventually bringing up whatever vapid shit came to mind. He respects that you don’t fall victim to the same sort of urgency. It’s more natural this way.
“How ‘bout yourself?” He suggests. “Unless you’re tight-lipped about your personal life on dates, too.”
You laugh. At that moment, the waitress swings by with your merlot. She sets two wine glasses down and pours. You thank her and take a sip. A heavy, bitter flavour of berries greets your tongue. It’s not at all unpleasant.
“I just don’t like talking about myself at work,” you explain, putting down your glass. “And I don’t do much else these days, what with staff shortages, so I guess I’m not used to it.”
“You work harder than this stubborn bastard I know.”
He means it as a compliment. In his youth, Katsuki went through an identity crisis and blamed him for the insecurities it caused; nevertheless, his bond with Izuku has only grown in adulthood — for the better. Now, he acknowledges his conscientiousness and potential as a true hero.
“Your friends aren’t buggin’ ya?” He inquires. “If I’d known you don’t cut yourself any breaks, I’d’ve asked you out sooner.”
It’s feels nice to be fawned over. Prior to today, you had no clue he harboured such a fascination for you. Although you want to take his attraction at face value, you have your guard up. You’re not looking for friends with benefits; you’re seeking a companion in him. If he thinks he can talk sweetly to you for the purpose of getting in your pants, he’s got another thing coming.
“They know I’m busy.” You brush off his concern with a smile. “And we see each other here and there.”
He props up his elbows on the backrest of his chair and stares across the room distantly, eyes fixated on the kitchen doors. You don’t blame him; you’re starving, too. You think he’s abandoned the topic, when he speaks.
“As long as you’re not workin’ yourself into the ground. Think I’d like t’ keep seein’ ya.”
It isn’t much longer until your food arrives. The waitress sets down the dishes and utensils; then, she wishes you a good meal and excuses herself. You spend the rest of your time chatting intermittently about the flavours, sharing food between each other, and enjoying your meals. When you finish, it’s later in the evening. You’ve emptied your wine glass twice, as has he with his whiskey. You’re in good spirits.
He orders two cups of tea for dessert. As you sip, he wonders about your family and which part of town you live in. Likewise, you ask him about his development into one of the top pro heroes in Japan. You discover he doesn’t like to boast. He mentions his passion for honing his quirk and being “the best” in his youth. He describes how Best Jeanist, a former Billboard Hero, taught him to concentrate more on contained survival than reckless showing off. All in all, he keeps his story short and sweet.
It sounds like he’s been through a lot. You’re surprised someone with such an action-packed life is into you. The edgiest thing you’ve ever done was taking out a loan to attend graduate school. You thought he would have preferred another hero. Then again, the idea of seeing another forensic detective doesn’t do it for you. You’d rather leave work where it is and retire after a long day. Maybe Katsuki feels the same.
“Well?” He prompts you gruffly.
You blink absently. Did he say something while you were lost in thought? You lift a brow and hum, prompting him to clarify. He rolls his eyes playfully, picking up on how the alcohol has distracted you.
“What did’j’ya think of the meal?”
You beam at him.
“I loved it!”
“You sure? I won’t be offended.”
“Positive! I really enjoyed myself. Thank you, Katsuki.”
You catch a brief smile fluttering across his face. Just as soon as it appears, though, it’s gone. He feels like an idiot for getting flustered by something so simple, but he likes listening to you, and every syllable of his name sounds like heaven on your tongue. In his teenage years, you eliciting this sort of vulnerability would have infuriated him; as an adult, he knows how to calmly identify his emotions and reel them in.
He fucking likes you — that’s the truth. You’re bright and interesting. You encourage him engage with his thoughts and opinions, instead of dismiss them. He’s compelled to learn more about you. He gets the sense that he could converse with you for days and not get bored. You’re a rare breed.
“Ready t’ go?” He prompts you. “I’ll pay and we can head out.”
“You don’t have to pay,” you insist. “I can afford my half.”
“Fat fuckin’ chance.” He snorts. “Lemme get this this one f’r us, princess.”
You huff. Normally, you would want to pay; that way, there are no expectations for later. You’re not sure if you want to put out tonight. He’s playing all his cards right, and the tension is there, but you don’t want this to be a one night stand. When you have crushes on people, you mean them.
“Well… okay.” You concede. “But only if I can get the next one.”
“We’ll see.”
“Hey! C’mon!”
“Grab your shit an’ let’s go.”
You groan as you slip on your windbreaker and grab your knapsack. He’s already at the counter, settling the tab. Katsuki escorts you out of the building with a hand on the small of your back. In no time, you’re back on the street.
At this time of night, there aren’t many people walking around. It’s mostly other couples, pacing home or simply enjoying the evening together. The atmosphere is serene. A gentle wind tousles the leaves, adding to the tranquility. You shiver.
Katsuki walks head of you; then, he extends his hand for you to take. You do so with only a smidgen of hesitation this time, trying to trust your budding feelings for him. He reels you closer. Your palms touch his firm chest as he secures you against him. He gazes at you with a ghost of a smirk.
“So, you want there t’ be a next time?”
Reflexively, you laugh. Your face burns as you scramble to respond. You’re not used to being teased this way.
“Um… yeah. I-I guess I do.”
“No more pretendin’ you’re not inta me, then.”
“When you started flirting with me, I thought you were just bored,” you admit sheepishly. “But I k-kinda had a crush on you.”
His grip on you tightens.
“Had?”
“Have.”
“S’what I thought.”
Katsuki isn’t sure if it’s the whiskey or how easy it is to talk to you, but he feels comfortable around you. He wasn’t sure if it would translate as well outside of work — in his eyes, you had the potential to be too good for him. If you want him like he wants you, perhaps there’s a shot. Besides, you’re bound to understand his busy schedule and odd hours, what with you being in law enforcement. So what if you’re not a hero? He’s merely looking for someone he can sync up with.
“Look, I ain’t great at expressin’ my feelings ‘n shit, but I thought you were cute as soon as you showed up t’ that crime scene. Showed me you were smart, too. Down t’ earth. Not just a fuckin’ stiff in a tight skirt.”
You draw yourself into the memory. When you received the call, you arrived earlier than everyone else with your equipment. Officers were stationed around the perimeter, blocking all pedestrian points so you could do your work. Apparently, the victim was a big deal — that’s why Dynamight was assigned to your case. Half of his job was to protect you; the other half was to commence takedown of the scumbag murderer.
You thought he was annoying and pompous when he first appeared, sauntering around the scene like he was in charge. He seemed disinterested, as though he’d rather be doing something else. You didn’t love his attitude. But then, as he started to help — flirting with you, in the process — you witnessed a different side of him. Maybe it wasn’t that he didn’t care, but more so that he desensitizes himself to function.
Despite the rumours about him, you recognize that Katsuki has feelings. He gives a damn about victims and keeping civilians safe. Although he’s brash and aggressive in nature, his heart isn’t as icy as people think.
“I always thought you were handsome,” you admit shyly, averting your eyes. “Whenever I saw you on TV, I mean.”
He smirks.
“You’re not a fuckin’ super fan, are ya?”
“No!” You grin. “You’re just always on the News for breaking things, so you’re pretty hard to miss.”
He snorts. You glance at him to see if you crossed a line with your comment. Joy fills your soul when you catch him rubbing his jaw with a large hand, no doubt to hide another smile. If you were anyone else, he’d tell you to fuck off. Because you’re you, he feels his attraction to you soar.
“Shut the hell up an’ tell me when you’re free next week.”
And he seals the deal with a light peck on the cheek. He fights the urge to capture your sweet lips once more, hoping that one day, he won’t have to.

Okay but hear me out- Indian American Reader x Bakugou??? With maybe an rock control quirk (+ metals bc we love a strong bb) but like I can imagine his shock when he realizes that someone can not only withstand his explosions with the metal she creates but someone with even more fucked up tastebuds with the amount of spicy food she eats on a daily basis??
“That all you got?” You call out, commanding rocks to rise from the earth as you shield yourself from his explosions.
“Shut your piehole, extra!” Bakugou roars, skidding to a stop at the end of the room, before launching himself back at you so fast you almost didn’t have time to react.
An explosion meets your shields, and in a second, he’s got you pinned down on the pavement, sweat dripping, knee against your leg and hand on your palm.
“Told you I could handle you, didn’t I?” He smirks devilishly, palms throbbing. He appreciates a good fight.
You don a matching grin, muscles tightening. “Not quite.”
His smile vanishes.
You wield the cement with practised motions, causing Bakugou to slam into the ground next to you.
Flipping him over, you exchange positions, you on top, and a very angry Bakugou beneath you.
“I win,” you whisper, a cocky smile curling on your face.
Bakugou attempts to use his explosions, only for you to reinforce the cement with metal.
He groans. “Dumb fuckin’ luck.”
“Look, it was funny the first time, but I’m calling a time-out on your insults.” You huff. “I won fair and square.”
“I pinned you first, smartass!”
“I neutralised you first, dumbfuck—”
Shoto takes a sip out of his protein shake. “Hey Bakugou. If you’re flirting, you’re doing a really bad job at it—”
“I’M GONNA FUCKING ASSASSINATE YOU ICYHOT.”
--
“This scares me,” Denki coughs. “Like, full-body ghost summoning kind of scary.”
Half of the class lies on the couch, utterly defeated by the hot sauce Denki had unknowingly made as a dipping sauce because he misread the bottle. You know, Bakugou’s exclusive Hot One’s Last Dab Sauce.
It had knocked the absolute wind out of strong contenders Kirishima and Ashido, and completely ruined Midoriya, who was still hiccuping and hacking away at the sink. Todoroki was passed out on the couch and Denki was half convince he was on his dying breath.
No, what scared him was you two freaks.
“Ha! What a bunch of wimps!” Bakugou cackles, lathering his fried chicken with the sauce and taking a good bite out of it. Bro didn’t look bothered in the slightest. In fact, Denki would wager the trigger-happy human landmine was enjoying the murderous sauce.
“This is really good,” You sigh, reaching for another fried chicken and dipping it entirely into the saucer. “Where’d you get it?”
Denki begs your fucking pardon?
“Should come over to my house, Ma makes the best spice,” Bakugou grins, eyes glinting as you chew on your drumstick innocently.
Your eyes light up. “Invitation accepted. Now move the damn dip over. We need more.”
“You both,” Denki wheezes. “Are demons. Menaces.”
“You’re just a pussy, Spark Plug.”
Denki would argue, but he doesn’t think his throat would cooperate.
Truly, a match made in heaven.
Or hell.

Author's note: Seriously this was so cute! Frankly, as someone who loves spicy food, loved to see the representation of this and a strong reader that can hold her own against Blasty! it's nice to cuddle up and play damsel with the heroes, but sometimes I just wanna take no bull and stand on my own two feet! (Kick them in the balls or smth, therapeutic as heck)
Thanks for requesting, it means a lot! 🧡

hi uh I was wondering if you could maybe write an Indian reader x Bakugou? Indian weddings are a lot different than American ones, and I just think it would be really cute to see him get along with relatives of a different culture maybe, like him in Indian clothes, eating Indian food ( I know he likes spicy food so that’s up his alley) and maybe even learning a certain language too. I speak Tamil, but the majority of India speaks Hindi so that would be cool too :D
[ Sounds good. I hope I did your request justice my dear, Queen Piranhadon. ]
Tumblr media
It was an honor to meet Katsuki Bakugou, otherwise known as "Ground Zero", during your family's brief stay in Japan. The intricately woven designs embedded in the fabric of your vibrant and colorful outfit immediately caught his attention. "Tch and just what the hell are you supposed to be?" He demanded, not realizing the cultural difference between the two of you.
When you tell Katsuki about your culture, traditions, and home life, he wears a scowl the whole time. Yet, he does acknowledge that participation in the celebrations you mentioned would be interesting if only to boost his ratings.
"Eh? What's the matter?! What's with those damn looks!?" Your family initially feels intimidated by him, which is understandable given his personality. Even so, they are friendly and compliment him for his strong-willed nature.
Food wasn't necessarily one of his guilty pleasures, and he usually didn't compliment anyone, but the flavor combination of Indian food and spices like cumin, turmeric, and red chili powder had his tongue dancing. Yes, he enjoyed spicy food and began visiting your family frequently for more delicious home-cooked meals.
"What the hell kind of language is this!?" he snapped, quickly growing frustrated as you tried to teach him some basic phrases in Hindi. Despite his frustration, he enjoyed learning new things because he had the heart of an academic student beneath his tough exterior.
Despite your cultural differences, Katsuki was protective of you whenever you faced discrimination or prejudice because of your background and made sure to shut whoever up quickly. Usually, this was done with his fists.
"Don't laugh, dumbass!" He demanded. It never occurred to him that your family would make him a traditional outfit from your culture. You were delighted to see him dressed in a maroon kurta, a vibrant nehru jacket over the kurta, white churidar pants, and golden jutti shoes.
While he wasn't known for his humor, he appreciated that the two of you could joke about your cultural differences, such as how greetings in Indian culture usually mean a hug or a firm handshake, while greetings in Japanese culture usually refrained from touching each other.
"Oh, don't act so damn surprised dumbass..." Although he knew you'd have to return to your own life, he didn't want to leave your side. So instead, he surprised you on the day of your departure and informed you that he was also going to your home country, and there was no room for arguments.

Arguments
It's already 7:30 pm.
You were supposed to leave the house at 6:45. He hadn't shown up yet, he was running late. Again. For the 5th time this month.
This had been happening since 3 months now, you and katsuki could barely make time for eachother anymore due to your jobs. Whenever you managed to get off of work early, a new villain would choose to shine to the crowd. Mostly it was just pesky burglars, or just Some adult minor going off with a weak quirk to cause trouble. But since your lovely beloved was in the top 3, being the 2nd, he was required to be present at most of the crimes.
His job demanded him and his time immensely and you respected that. But you having to de-prioritise yours everytime to make time for the both of you, for it to not even be used, made it worthless to even try to.
Here you were staring at the clock, waiting for katsuki to get home.
The agency held him back to fill out the paper work for all the crimes he handled this past month. The crimes because of which he could never make it to the planned dates.
As you waited, the clock didn't stop, time flowing like a bottle of wine, it was about to be 8pm in about another 16-15 minutes. 8pm was the time of the reservation you guys booked for the evening. It was to the new restraunt which opened last to last week, it was an Indian one, and you loved it. You wanted to go since the day it opened but like always, you both didn't have the time.
3 minutes later you heard keys jangle into your door, katsukis here.
You got up from the couch and tried your best to scurry in your wine coloured bodycon dress while wearing 4 inch heels to reach katsukis shoulders atleast.
Katsuki entered to see you there, looking so pretty in the dim light. He assumed you turned the rest off, thinking he'd reach sooner and you guys will leave the house
"Fuck, baby, I'm sorry"
"Work is just busting my ass right now. All these idiots are good for nothing. I don't even know why I pay them. They do fucking nothing, it's as if they give me all their fucking Work to complete."
He said as he speed walked towards your shared bedroom to change out of his hero suit to wear a white button up with jeans instead.
That's when you spoke up and said,
"It's fine."
"Not like I had to forget my work and come home early." You mumbled the last line to yourself. Were you pissed? No.
Disappointed? Yes.
You kept quiet and didn't say anything till you guys made it in the car.
"Could we go a bit faster?" You said, "I mean like maybe speed up a bit?"
Katsuki squinted his eyes at you,"I can't just run over the red light Y/N" "plus I'm a hero, I'm bound to follow the law."
The silence between you two was heavy, just the radio in the background and the slightest noise of the air conditioner spewing cold air into your faces.
Soon enough, which was an hour and a half, you guys reached the restraunt. It was 9:30 now, and to your surprise the retraunt closes at 10.
So to make your mood even worse. They couldn't allow you guys to dine. Even though katsuki fought a bit, in a little less civilized manner, they unfortunately could not serve costumers some time before closing.
Defeated and sad you walked back to the car with a fuming and tired katsuki.
Katsuki was tired and hungry from working all day and driving for so long, only to drive back with nothing.
On the way back he sped up a little on the road since it was empty,
That's when you said something "Oh so now you decide to go faster?."
See, now, you were pissed. Not having food made you cranky. Like all the time. And with all the pressure of trying to keep a work-life balance, being hungry was the cherry on top for you.
He turned to look at you on the passenger seat,
He had a look of anger and a little hurt, just a tiny bit. Mostly anger.
"The fuck Y/N?"
"Look I'm sorry about All this delay cause of Me but these comments are unnecessary".
You scoffed and looked ahead instead.
"You should be sorry."
He was still looking at you in utter astonishment and not the road,
That's when you saw a person crossing the road, you screamed " KATSUKI! WATCH THE ROAD!"
Thanks to Katsuki's good reflex he saw and hit the breaks in time.
" I swear to fucking god katsuki! Drive properly!"
" I do drive properly.., it's because of your cribbing this happened." He grumbled under his breath
You heard him, but kept quiet to soothe your own ego.
Katsuki sucked in air through his gritted teeth in annoyance and continued driving in egotistical silence from the both of you.
When you guys reached home, you opened your heels at the door and strutted towards the bedroom to change into your night wear (which consisted of one of katsukis old t-shirts and your little high waisted shorts)
-------------------------
Katsuki grunted as he saw you walking away from him giving him the cold shoulder.
He took off his shoes and went straight to the kitchen rather then changing his clothes. He groaned as he saw the clock while opening the fridge to take out ingredients to make a simple ramen bowl for the two of you.
He was done making the Ramen before you came back. He took two bowls out and served the Ramen in them, garnished it with coriander leaves and sesame seeds with cut up boiled eggs on top.
-------------------------
Soon you walked out of the bedroom towards the living room, you sat on the couch. You could smell delicious food in the kitchen.
But of course you didn't dare get up and have food, that would mean that your submitting to katsuki and that you were wrong.
And obviously you weren't wrong at all! You can never be wrong!.
-------------------------
Katsuki knew you were in the living room,
He heard those changing audios on your phone probably from tiktoks.
He picked up his bowl, leaving yours in the microwave so that it doesn't get cold.
He walked into the living room and sat on the other couch seat parallel to the couch itself, propped his feet up on the center table, turned the T.V on for some national documentary, and slurped on his Ramen. Trying his best to tease you by showing how much he enjoyed his food.
----
You saw katsuki eating his dinner as If you weren't even there. Where the fuck is my Ramen!?!?! You thought.
You saw him watching the TV, so you increased the volume of your phone so that it would overlap his hearing of the TV.
----
Katsuki realised what you were doing and increased the volume of the TV,
Now he knew you couldn't beat that with your silly phone in the background. He was in anger from your previous behaviour and actions.
-----
Oh now you were really really pissed
But you knew you couldn't do anything, so you kept quiet.
Glancing at katsuki eating from now and then.
That's when your tummy grumbled, indicating your hungry. And will die of starvation at one point.
----
See, now katsuki was mad and stubborn as fuck, but not Heartless, especially not to you.
He heard your stomach begging for food,
So he got up, put his bowl in the sink and got yours to the living room for you to eat.
He kept the bowl on the table without a word and just grunted before going back to his seat to watch whatever it was he was watching.
--
"I'm not hungry" You said, not looking up from your phone
"Hah?" "Eat." Katsuki replied turning around to look at you
"I'm. not. hungry." You repreated
"The fuck Y/N, your just cranky from not having any food, clearly you need to eat." Katsuki replied trying to keep his cool
"I don't want your food." You said,
"Oh so it's on me now? That it's food i made so you won't eat?"...." yknow what leave it." Katsuki replied.
You scoffed "what a joke." You mumbled to yourself, still enough for him to hear though.
"Alright. Enough of this shit, what's the fucking issue Y/N?." katsuki spoke
"The issue? The issue Is that no one cares about my occupation here!"
"I always make time for you but you can never seem to do the same for me!" You replied.
"Well I'm sorry my job requires me to give it my time, It's not like I'm out there SAVING LIVES!"
katsuki exclaimed. Now katsuki valued your work alot, it meant the whole world for you and he appreciated every bit of it. Just that today, both of you were on your toes. Up for fighting, there was rage surging through him and he doesn't know why, just that he needs to steam it off. And without a thought, that's what he's doing.
"SO MY JOB MEANS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!?" "IS THAT WHAT YOUR TRYING TO SAY!?"
you got up from your position on the couch and bit back at katsuki, raising your voice higher by each line.
"MAYBE I AM! WHO KNOWS!? I PAY THE BILLS HERE, I MAKE YOU FOOD, I DRIVE YOU AROUND! AND THIS IS WHAT I GET IN RETURN!? NOT A THANKS, BUT A BRATTY FUCKING GIRLFRIEND WHOS GOOD FOR NOTHING BUT MAKING THINGS COMPLICATED! "
Katsuki screamed back.
"RIGHT! WELL IM SO FUCKING SORRY TO HAVE EVER RELIED ON YOU KATSUKI, AND IM ALSO SORRY TO HAVE MADE YOUR LIFE SO FUCKING COMPLICATED. I CAN FEED MYSELF, OKAY?! YOU DONT NEED TO STRESS ABOUT WHATEVER THE FUCK I DO!"
you spoke, well screamed while turning around in anger and stomping to the kitchen to make instant noodles and grabbed a pack of chips with a soda can. You were banging the cabinets whenever you opened or closed them to take food. "YEAH GO HAVE THAT FUCKING TOXIC FOOD, YOU CANT EVEN FUCKING COOK FOR THE LIFE OF YOU Y/N. AND YOU HAVE BEEN PRANCING AROUND BLAMING ME?! YOU ARE SO FUCKING UNGRATEFUL! CAN YOU EVER DO ANYTHING PROPERLY!?"
Katsuki Came over to you and snatched the bag of chips and soda can from your hands.
You scoffed in offense and looked at katsuki in amusement, "Y'know what katsuki? You're sleeping on the fucking couch tonight. And don't you dare think about bothering me." You said in a cold tone as you threatened him and got close to him while pointing a finger at his chest.
you spinned on your heel and bee lined for the bedroom, you threw a pillow and a blanket from the bedroom door onto the couch and banged the door close.
----------------------
Katsuki just stared at the closed door of the bedroom, he sighed in defeat as he began to clean the house a bit. He put away the junk you took out and washed his dirty bowl in the sink.
When he returned to the living room, He saw that the bowl of Ramen was gone, a small smile displayed on his features as he figured you took the bowl with you. He turned off the TV and the kitchen lights, he took the blanket and pillow and layed on the couch trying to sleep.
He was still bummed about the fight. He replayed every single thing he said and realised he didn't even mean more than half of the shit he did say to you... The guilt was eating him alive... for all he knows you might be in a worse situation with yourself right now. He knew your deal with overthinking, you've always had it. The knack to always make things seem for the worse... but it also prepared you for it. Ugh this overthinking was actually killing him. He isn't used to feeling nervous. But then you make him feel everything he never thought he would. He covered his face with his pillow and groaned in agony, full of annoyance and anger on himself.
A few minutes passed and he got impatient, he took his blanket and pillow and sat infront the bedroom door. Waiting for morning to come early so that he could see you and apologise to you.
------------
You sat in the dark room, the only light helping you to see was the moon shining from in between the blinds. You opened the blinds. You sat on the floor, your back resting on the side of the bed as you faced the wall which was a window itself and ate your Ramen in silence. You were thinking of how you could sleep without katsuki by your side.. no matter how mad you are at him, you will always love him twice as much. As you finished your food You looked out the window, it was a crescent moon in the midnight sky it made you remember all those nights you and katsuki used to sneak out of your school's dormitories and meet at the roof of the building in front the local central park. A tear slid down your right cheek... you didn't mean to end the night on bad terms with katsuki... it made you feel so fucking awful.. you sat there as more tears started pouring out of your eyes and soon you were full on crying... trying to keep your sobs in. You figured you weren't gonna get any sleep without katsuki so you wrapped yourself in a blanket, got up while crying, went out of your bedroom just to see katsuki in the doorway with his eyes drooping. He was going in and out of consciousness. You saw him and slowly whispered trying not to cry while you spoke " katsuki? Are you asleep?.. I'm sorry.." your voice cracked " I can't sleep without you... sorry, " You said as more tears flowed from your now swollen eyes.
----
Katsuki heard you, he wasn't asleep, he couldn't sleep, not without you he can't. He grunted, and opened his arms for you to come to him, you immediately jumped into his arms and cuddled into his chest as you sobbed apologies into his now wet t-shirt. Katsuki palmed your head and rubbed your back to help you let it all out as he too whispered sweet nothings and Apologies into your hair. " I know sweets, I know you didn't meant it. And I'm sorry too I didn't mean any of that fucking shit I just said. I love you so fucking much princess you could never be a bother to me.." katsuki whispered into your ear and kissed you forehead tenderly. As he soothed you, you had fallen asleep in his arms, still sobbing a bit in your sleep. He carried you in his arms as he wrapped you in your blanket like a baby and took you to the bedroom. He layed you down on your side of the bed and went to his. He saw the empty bowl of Ramen which made him sigh in relief, now he knows you ate and didn't starve yourself. He got into the bed beside you as he got covers over the two of you. He cuddled you the rest of the night, giving you small kisses now and then whenever he woke up for a bit. You both finally slept peacefully, in each other's loving embrace.

The hot water felt like rocks rolling down your back. It was harsh against the sore muscles and burned on some spots of your skin, but underneath the small amount of suffering came a rewarding comfort.
The last week you spent your days sneaking into the gym to work on the punching bag and work out even harder so you wouldn’t be too inferior to your new training partner. You even gave up your darling desserts — not all of them, you still ate a chocolate cake (whole) when you came back that evening — and tried to meditate and work on some yoga before sleeping.
Since you weren’t on your fertile period anymore, Akio took his time to work on his reputation and decided to travel on the weekend, making it easier for you to go to the address Bakugou sent earlier the day without having to make up any excuses. It made you anxious, feeling all the energy and anticipation that came with the nostalgia of training every day to be on top. That’s what you wanted, that’s what you loved to do, and now there was nothing stopping you, so you went for it.
You turned the shower off and stepped out of the box, drying your hair and body so you could order something for dinner. You were thinking pizza, but Indian food was a nice option too. Grabbing your phone from the counter, you saw a few notifications from the groupchat Momo put you in and a smile formed on your lips. She was generous enough to let you back in the group, and you were happy to see how welcoming the girls were to you, and they were planning on meeting up on Sunday morning for brunch — mimosas and biscuits, as they said.
So you took your night off to search a little about their lives after graduation, so you wouldn’t be that lost. Uraraka and Deku were now a thing, had been for two years and were the country’s sweethearts, working together and building a life from scratch; Jirou, Mina and Denki built an agency together and were recruiting new heroes, it was very well reviewed on Google; Tsuyu was working alongside Tokoyami and there were some nice pictures of them from last week, when they saved a few hostage victims from a bank robbery; Momo had her own brand of hero gadgets, and one of the founders was Mei Hatsume, one of the best in the hero support line.
It was nice to see how people you grew up with were nowadays. You all had your fair share of memories together and you were always rooting for them, no matter where they went, you would forever be their cheerleader.
A yawn came from your lips as you stretched your feet onto the ottoman, searching blindly for your cup of tea while your eyes were glued to the tablet screen on an article about Zero Ground. It wasn’t your intention at first, but you found a story about Red Riot, then you scrolled to the bottom of the page and found a great picture of him with Bakugou, all in their glory, and that sparkled something inside you, so now you were googling his hero persona.
It was amazing how much he did in so little time. Since graduation, the boy didn’t stop working hard and giving all of himself, to the point that he was hospitalized too many times, but never stuck in bed for too long, jumping back in his uniform and reaching to save the day once more. You didn’t expect less from a guy who always outdid himself every fucking time.
“I’m gonna be the number one hero” you remember the days he would sit under the cherry blossoms, head resting on his elbows as he blabbered about his future.
“Sure you will” you would roll your eyes as you unwrapped another one of those chocolate treats Kirishima would get you from the store around the corner.
“You’ll see, shitty woman” he would steal the chocolate from your hands and pop it into his mouth.
You smiled at yourself and closed the tabs from the tablet, yawning as you took the last sip of the tea.
The next day you woke up early, something you didn’t quite like but it was what he requested of you, so you just agreed — since he was already doing you a favor. It wasn’t until half an hour later when you found yourself heaving on top of the gym mat, hair sticking to your forehead as you tried to catch your breath.
“Jesus, get the fuck up already” the man rolled his eyes as he crouched down to stretch his thighs.
“Can’t” you got yourself on your elbows, coughing. “I’m dying.”
Bakugou threw a water bottle at you and you grabbed it midair, quickly taking a swig down your throat and gasping. “Always been a drama queen, huh.”
The blonde man didn’t even let you change shoes after you arrived at his personal gym. As soon as you walked through those doors, he pointed to the floor right next to his side and positioned his hands to spar with you. You two did that at least six times before you finally collapsed.
“Fuck off” you sat with your legs stretched, slightly leaning towards the soft mat again as you gave him a side eye. “You were the one who cried when you lost for me.”
“Lost for… The fuck?!” He leaned back, surprised. Clearly offended, but deep into thought.
You let out a smirk as you took another swig from your water bottle. The memory was clear in your mind, the boy trying to blow explosions onto the shadow that was holding him in the air, the same one that came from the makeshift building you made out of the blown-up cement.
“Aww, c’mon, you’re telling me that you don’t remember when I took you down on national television?” You teased, knowing that if you were skating on thin ice. “’Cause I do remember pretty clearly when you whined after I knocked you out in three seconds.”
“It was five sec… Ah, fuck you.” He snapped the water bottle from your hands and threw it at some corner of the spacious room. “Get the fuck up, you’re out of shape.”
“There are better ways of saying that” you scoffed.
“Jesus, just get up, for Christ’s sake.”
You did as you were told, getting on your feet, and going back into position, knuckles aligned with your eyes, taking a deep breath.
“On three” he started counting and you waited until you could hit your punches again, aiming for his shoulder.
The man dodged every move and let himself sneak some hits himself as you did your best to dodge. Even though it’d been some time since you sparred with someone, you found yourself proud of managing to do everything correctly.
“So…” you started as you dodged a punch coming from your right side, “do you still keep in contact with everyone?”
Bakugou sneaked his foot, trying to get you to fall, but you were quick to jump back, not waiting any longer to land a punch on his bicep. He seemed quite surprised you were able to hit him, breaking the seriousness in the fight as he stood.
“Not doing small talk” he rolled his eyes and got back into position once more.
“I’m just trying not to make this any more boring than it has to be” letting out a scoff, you dodged under his arm. “You didn’t let me put music.”
You crossed your arms after stepping back, giving him a raised brow.
“Forgot how much of a child you can be” the blonde man licked his teeth and shook his head. “I don’t know who you mean by ‘everyone’”.
Stepping forward once more, you came back to the sparring match, content with getting your way.
“I mean… the squad” you bit your lip, trying not to bring any old memory into surface but still curious. “How’s Eiji?”
“Who the— you mean Shitty Hair?”
“You still call him like that?” You were not that surprised. “Guess you can’t grow out of some habits.”
“You are one to talk” the man swung his hand to the side of your body but you blocked with your knee. “You eat twice your weight in desserts.”
“Sorry if I appreciate the good things in life” you snorted, twisting your body. “What was the name you used to call me?”
You saw how his eyes widened and took the opportunity to swing back and trap him to the floor, one of your knees on his lower back as one of your arms sneaked around his neck, your chin resting on his shoulder as you claimed victory.
“C’mon, I know you remember it” you pushed harder your knee digging into his muscles as you leaned into his ear.
“Crumbs” he said.
“Nuh-uh. The other one.”
“Shadow Bitch” you shook your head once more. “Sour candy.”
“Stop pretending” you kicked the back of his thigh. “I know you know it.”
He wasn’t really trying to get out of the position you were in, you could notice, but still, it was tricky to turn the fight around. You learned that from your father when you were twelve and had been using that move ever since.
“I’m not fucking saying it” the man slipped his foot in between your legs and turned around, making you fall on your back, now having the upper hand and trapping you under his body.
Not happy, you tried to reverse the move by sneaking your own legs between his, but his knee was now holding them down. Unsatisfied, you let your arms fall to your sides widely, staring at the man on top of you.
You hadn’t realized how close you actually were, and how clearly you could see the marks on his face, like some scars that work got him, or the small lines formed in between his brows from years of frowning like the grumpy bastard that he was. The remnants of what seemed to be some thin facial hair on his jaw, the undercut that he had adopted to his own style a few years back and what seemed to be an earing on his right ear.
The last time you’d been this close to him he still had the spiky blond strands all over the place and a scowl that never left his face. You kinda missed it, for some weird reason. And you kinda didn’t at the same time, since the last time you two had been face to face it hadn’t really been that amicable.
He might’ve noticed that you two were staring into each other for longer than it should’ve been, so he was the first to step back. You moved yourself awkwardly and watched as he stood to grab the water bottles again, throwing one at you.
“I have stuff to get to, so we are done here” he gulped down half of the bottle’s contents and turned his back to you.
“Oh, okay” you licked your dry lips before drinking from your own water. “Same time Monday?”
“I don’t know” he looked at you from his shoulder and then down, deep in thought. “My PR team’s been bugging me about some shitty fundraiser or something.”
“Ah! The Bright Day fundraiser, right?” You remembered Yagi mentioning something to his peers, but you didn’t really know when it was taking place. Normally, you didn’t care about those events, but the Bright Day has always been one of your favorite ones, since it involved a big tournament with a lot of heroes competing against each other to help the sickly kids — who also played.
“Yea, yea. The one with the treasure hunt and shit” he grabbed his cellphone and started typing on it, quite far from his face, like a true old, grumpy man that he was internally.
“Are you going?” You started to collect your stuff and put them into your bag.
“Got better things to do” he licked his teeth and furrowed his brows at his cellphone, as if he was trying to read from distance.
His answer made you feel a little upset, but you tried to cover your emotions on the outside. You swung your bag strap across your body and walked to his direction. Before you could reach him, his arm hung in front of you, cellphone in hands as he offered the device, avoiding eye contact while at it.
“Put your number in” you stood a little shocked, gazing at him. When he noticed you weren’t taking his phone, he spared you a look and rolled his eyes. “It’s so we can set up the training sessions. Jesus fuck, will you do it already?!”
You took the phone in your hands and saw that he’d already set up your contact, but the name was on the top of the page and the number insert part was in the bottom. You typed in quickly and scrolled it up out of curiosity, only to see it named as ‘Sweets’.
“You remember it!” You pointed at him, a warmth now bubbling in your stomach as he snatched the phone back.
“Don’t take it too seriously” he scoffed, pocketing his phone and grabbing his own bag. “Now get the fuck outta’ my sight.”
You smiled at him once more as you leaned onto the doors, hugging your own body as you took in the sight of the blonde man who was now sitting uncomfortably, a sheen sight of red spreading across his cheeks.
“See you later, Sparkles.” You heard a groan coming from him and took your leave.
[…]
As soon as you left, you took your time to go back home, since Akio wouldn’t come back till Monday.
Walking around, you got yourself a matcha latte and a dango coated in caramel to enjoy the rest of the morning. You knew that as soon as you got home you would shower and sleep through the evening — perks of being a trophy wife.
You took a seat on a bench under the shadows of a few trees and grabbed your phone, searching for articles about the Bright Day event, and found a whole lot of them, knowing it was one of the biggest fundraisers to take place; people from the whole country came, even some from the rest of the world, it was amazing.
The first one you went to was when you were seventeen, and your dad brought you along because he was donating that year. You didn’t know what it was about, but as soon as you arrived, the music and cheering got to your ear, you knew exactly why it was going to be one of your best experiences. You even found your friends later, joining them as you went from barrack to barrack, earning a few prizes.
You remember clearly how much you enjoyed playing those games and how Mina fell on her ass, and you all burst out laughing. Oh, and the ferris wheel, it was the best part of the whole event as you could see the whole fair from the top. Denki had that idea of swinging back and forward on his cart and you all started doing that until Katsuki screamed for you to stop, his face holding an expression of being scared shitless, but then you made up for him on the treasure hunt when you invited All Might to your team, earning first place. You could just tell he had the best time.
Shaking your head, you decided it’d been enough nostalgia for the day. Standing from the bench, you threw your trash away and took a peaceful walk back home, excited for your meeting with your shower then your bed appointment.
The next day you woke up to your alarm, notifying you that you had a brunch scheduled with the girls, and you were pretty excited. It made you a little scared, you weren’t going to lie, but stepping out of your comfort zone was something you were looking forward to after spending two years out of every social bubble you had before.
Checking your messages, asides from your mother’s and one from Kiyo, there was none from him.
You sighed and grabbed some jeans and a grey shirt, casual clothing since Akio never let you wear anything asides from fancy stuff — it was a relief to wear sneakers. You had your old stuff stocked inside an old dresser and only had the chance to use them whenever he was away, so you took every little opportunity. Momo had messaged you the address earlier and you had to admit that you spent a little more than you expected in frustration of seeing that it wasn’t another person texting you.
The address she sent you wasn’t that far, so you didn’t have to drive or get an uber, you could just walk there, so you grabbed all your stuff and decided to stop by a bakery to grab some lemon tarts to the get together. You turned a few streets and finally saw the building across the street and headed right into the place, buzzing the number Momo sent you and were soon let in. You climbed into the elevator quickly and arrived to the floor right away, finding the respective door and rang the bell.
You were met with those gentle, big eyes that Ochako Uraraka held, those you haven’t seen in years but could never forget. The girl lit up as soon as she saw you, opening the door fully and offering you a big, warm hug.
“Oh Gosh, you look so pretty!” The brunette held you in her arms and you could smell the soft, sweet scent of the same perfume she used to wear at school.
Her hair was now longer and she seemed a little taller too. Uraraka never lost the radiant halo she held up her head, she seemed to be the same bundle of sunshine you met before and wouldn’t expect anything else. She was wearing a pretty pink blouse with some jean shorts and grabbed the tarts from your hand, leading you into the place to sit on the couch, joining the others.
There you saw Momo, who was fixing tea for everyone and Toru helping her with the pretty porcelain cups. In the balcony was Jirou smoking a cigarette, seemingly lost in her own world and in the kitchen was Tsuyu mixing some cookie batter. You saluted everyone and made some small talk, and all of them were very shocked you came, so you guessed Momo hadn’t really told anyone about it. Somehow, it all felt like you hadn’t really disappeared all those years, and that made you happy.
“Holy shit, I had to walk the whole street to find the champagne, can you believe no one wants to sell it at 9AM?” You heard the door being slammed open, and there it was, Mina Ashido in her glory.
She was still as radiant as before, her hair had grown a little, and she two small braids, leaving a lot of her curls outside of the hairdo. Her silky pink skin still looked amazing, and she had some eyeliner around those deep dark eyes that complimented her beautiful smile.
Problem was, she didn’t seem too happy to see you there.
As soon as those black eyes fell on you, they fell angry.
“What the hell?”
And then, all eyes were on you.
“What are you doing here?” Mina asked as she took the champagne out of the paper bag, putting it on top of the counter. She didn’t seem to be making any efforts in hiding the disdained look.
Momo was confused, and she kept staring between you two as you spoke while Tsuyu kept her poker face. Ochako decided to go help her and Toru… well, they couldn’t know what her expression was.
“I invited her” said Momo as she gave you a cup of tea and went to the kitchen counter, setting the tray on top of the wooden surface. “We met back a couple days ago, I thought it would be nice to reunite!”
After hearing the sweet and stern tone of the raven-haired girl, the tension in the room left, but you still felt that anguish feeling in your chest.
You knew exactly why she reacted that way. You knew all the reasoning behind her hatred, and you knew that it was your fault. You were the one who abandoned them all, disappearing out of the face of the earth and not contacting anyone about it. Not even your closest friends.
Mina finished making the mimosas and put them on the same tray as the tea, pushing it towards Momo.
“(Y/n) brought lemon tarts!” Announced Ochako as she came with baguettes and curry bread.
“Yeah, I know this nice place that makes them, it’s not that far from here” you gave them a thin-lipped smile as you sat down on the couch.
“Be sure to let me know where it is later!” Toru said as she got a mouthful of them.
You smiled to yourself, noticing how nostalgic it felt to be sitting there. Just like those old days when you all brought something that each other liked in your bentos to give out during lunch; those days when you would spend extra 30min from your morning just to make extra sausage squids or kitten onigiris. In return, you would always snatch a few of the cheesy buns Tsuyu made or the delicious pudding Uraraka made.
All the girls were now sitting around the living area and catching up on random subjects, like daily life, work and all those things.
“God, Izuku is so messy with the laundry” the brunette complained as she sipped on her mimosa.
“When are you doing the housewarming?” Toru asked as she ate another lemon tart. “I already bought you a present!”
“Soon!” The other girl replied. “I have to keep everything in place first, haven’t had the time to unbox everything.”
“I thought this was your place” you mentioned and they all let out a soft laugh.
“No, no, this is Mina’s” she pointed at the other woman.
Mina raised her brows in disdain again as she sipped on her third mimosa.
“Oh” you licked your lips and focused on your curry bread. “It’s nice!”
“Yea, thanks” she nodded. “Actually, (y/n), could you help me with something in the back?”
Everyone seemed confused, but you just nodded instead, standing up and following her to the kitchen area. Mina waited until you came and went to the area where the others wouldn’t see you two.
“Cut the act. What are you doing here?” She snapped, leaning towards the sink. “You know, you can’t just disappear one day and come back three years later as if nothing has happened.”
“I’m sorry” you kept your eyes on your feet, not even knowing how to talk about it.
And you were sorry, you just couldn’t get into the subject too early, or even because of legal reasons. You wished so hard you could tell them all about everything that has happened, to why you left, why you married that asshole, why you didn’t even contact a single soul about it. How you went from being one of the top 10 to literal no one.
“We were fucking friends!” She mutter-screamed as she leaned closer to you. “Friends don’t fucking do that!”
“I know, Mina. I’m sorry.”
“Can you stop apologizing?!” She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. “We were a fucking group, and then you left us all, you know how confused we were? How devastated he…”
She shook her head and you were left on a spiral after her last words. What was she going to say?
“Are you even going to explain?” She raised a brow, clearly frustrated with the situation, but what could you even say? Where would you even start?
“I… I can’t” you bit the insides of your cheeks and looked up, only to find an angry expression filling her eyes.
“Of course you can, what the fuck?” She snapped back.
“I’m really sorry, Mina, but I can’t.”
“Why did I even try” she scoffed and left.
You bit your lip and watched as she left, a small part of you wanting to grab her by her wrist and let it out, cry on her shoulder as you tell her everything that happened for the past few years. You wanted to feel like you were back in high school, crying with her at the smallest inconvenience and being comforted by her wise words. Or just crying over tv shows. It was even better when Denki joined you in all the wallowing.
Now you were left all alone in the kitchen, but you didn’t feel like joining back quite yet, so you turned around in the direction of the bathroom that you saw in the hallway. Walking there, you bumped into someone and fell back, somewhat dizzy from the mimosas.
“Sorry!” The familiar voice said as you looked up to find a hand being offered to you.
When you looked up, you felt the coldness in the air go away suddenly, meeting those red and warm eyes that stared right back into your soul.
“Babycakes! Is that you?!” Kirishima held the grip on your hand as you stood from the floor, being pulled into his chest in a huge embrace that kinda hurt from his insane muscles. “Your hair changed!”
You couldn’t hold your laughter from how things went from 0-100 in a second; from Mina’s reaction, giving you a hard time and the cold shoulder, to Eijiro’s, that was just like from before time, being welcoming and not judging you (or at least, not too hard).
He was older now, had a badly shaved stubble and his hair was longer, put up in a low ponytail and the bangs barely covering his eyes from the absence of hair gel. He seemed to have grown in the arms and thighs, and you kinda expected him to, since the man lever skipped a gym day, not even when he was sick — you remember clearly when he fainted after doing the plank once.
“Oh god, I’ve missed you so much” you said as you leaned further into his chest, not wanting to leave your newly made cocoon. “You look so manly!”
You teased him and the man let out a small laugh, now stepping back to see you clearly. “Ah, stop, look at you! All grown up!”
“Time really has passed, huh” you bit the insides of your cheeks as he gave you a side smile. “I’m so sorry I just left.”
“Hey, hey, don’t be sorry” he patted your shoulder as he straightened up your posture. “We all had our things to deal with, no one to blame other than life!”
You sighed and reciprocated his smile, “I guess so.”
“Did you come for brunch?” He asked as he pointed at the end of the corridor, where the bubbling of conversation echoed.
“Yea, Momo invited me… we met a few days ago.”
“I might sneak in later to steal some mimosas… maybe get a face mask” he winked at you and you fell into laughter.
“Sure, do your thing” you said as you calmed down. “I’ll be going soon.”
“Why? Didn’t the party just start?”
“I just have some things to… do” you licked your lips as you stared away.
“Did Mina give you a hard time?” He bit his lower lip. “She didn’t take your disappearance that well.”
“I noticed” you sighed once more.
“She’ll warm up again, I’m sure” he nodded, pretty sure of himself (you could use some of that). “Here, gimme your phone.”
You furrowed your brows but still gave him your phone, watching as he typed away and quickly gave it back. “Now you have my number. Already sent a message to myself, so we can stay in contact. I won’t let you disappear again, missy.”
“Missy?” You questioned but felt grateful for his actions.
“Yup! Also, let’s reunite the gang! I’ll sneak in some time in my schedule and we can go to a bar, get drunk as shit and complain about work…”
He seemed to notice how you shrank to yourself, crossing your arms in front of your chest and changing your aura that quickly.
“… or just life in general, you need to see Denki’s new hairstyle, he tried to slit his brow to look cool and shaved half off, he looks hilarious, really.”
You lightened up to the comment and nodded at him.
“That’s something I’d like to see” you smiled at him. “What else should I know?”
“Hm… Ah! Sero’s got a girlfriend—”
Kirishima kept on telling you about the news from your old group, and somehow, you felt as if you’d always been there by their side during those moments. Felt as if you’d never left at all — felt good.
Also, you knew how much of a gossip he was, so you enjoyed the moment. He told you a lot about your old friends, and you felt like you were traveling through time until he shook his head and let out a warm laugh.
“Damn, sorry, I’ve been keeping you here” he put a hand to his forehead, brushing the red bangs away as you smiled. “Totally forgot about brunch.”
“No problem, it’s not like I’m missed there anyways” you put your hands inside your pocket and gave your shoulders a shrug.
“We all missed you a lot, dummy” he pushed you jokingly. “C’mon, let’s go there, I’m gonna try to steal some cookies.”
[…]
The rest of the morning was pretty enjoyable. You drank at least five mimosas and you all laughed in expense of your old selves and how dramatic you all were — you know, teenagers thinking everything is the end of the world.
You learned a lot, too. Mina and Kirishima moved in together right after school, being very close since then; but she said she did hate when he gave her sweaty hugs after gym. Jirou and Kaminari were now a thing, apparently, but she was somewhat confused because of the mixed signals, and you did remember how he held a crush on her in high school. Tsuyu said something about working with Gang Orca and how she admired him. Uraraka basically downed ten mimosas because she said it was a reward from all the moving and Momo didn’t say much, asides from that she was doing some modeling gigs on the side.
They asked about you from time to time, but none of them got into the red zone, that was, until…
“I heard you were trying for a baby” Tsuyu stated and you choked on your green tea. “Congrats!”
“Oh, it’s not…” you tried to say, but were interrupted instantly by Mina.
“Yeah, we were all shocked when we heard that you got married. Never thought you would settle down so quickly” she didn’t even look in your direction as she spoke. “Or even with that guy.”
“Mina, that’s so rude!” Uraraka gave her a little nudge on the shoulder.
“It’s not like it’s a secret” the pink girl rolled her eyes.
“Yeah…” your eyes fell on your lap, where your green tea was sitting, and to watch the small speckles of herbs floating around felt more comfortable than being there.
“But really, how did that happen?” Toru said as she filled another glass with champagne. “We weren’t that close but I remember you always put being a hero on top of anything else.”
“That’s why she was the only one to tolerate Bakugo” Uraraka let out a laugh, clearly buzzed from the drinks. “You guys were so close; I remember you two being almost inseparable.”
“Stop prying into her life” Momo intervened with a genuine laugh, noticing how uncomfortable you’d grown into the conversation and you thanked her mentally. “Who wants more curry buns?”
You gave her a smile and she reciprocated, passing the tray to the tipsy girls and changing the subject completely. A few minutes more passed and you felt your phone buzz inside your pocket, quickly grabbing it in hopes of being from him, but only to find that it was from Akio.
[11:21] Where are you?
Your blood ran cold, and you quickly grabbed all your stuff and tried to stay calm so the others wouldn’t notice your despair.
He wasn’t supposed to come back till tomorrow.
“Are you leaving, (y/n)?” Uraraka noticed and you nodded, giving her a masked smile in return.
“I forgot I had to do some things” you said and they all nodded.
“Aw, it was great having you today!” The girl stood to give you a warm hug and you accepted it, feeling as if things were going to be okay, even though you found yourself in deep trouble.
You said your goodbyes to everyone and left quick on your feet, deciding to pass by a convenience store and grab some things in cash, knowing that if he decided to check your credit card, he would see the time receipts.
In ten minutes you arrived back home, taking a deep breath before entering the gates. When you pushed the door open, you found Akio sitting on one of the charcoal couches, laptop on his lap as he scanned over you, those clear eyes capturing everything about you, so you held your mask as tight to yourself as you could, knowing that a small slip could cost you your freedom.
“Where is your phone?” He asked right away.
You gave him a stern look, opening the plastic bags to put them on the kitchen counter. “In my purse, why?”
“I sent you a text.”
“I didn’t see. What did it say?” You turned your back to him, knowing he could still see you from the doorframe.
“I asked where were you” he scanned over the contents of the bag as your fingers grabbed each item out of it. Canned peas and some vegetables.
“The market” you replied. “I felt like eating curry, so I grabbed some things.”
“What are you even wearing?” He spat and you flinched. You totally forgot about the jeans.
But you had three years of experience in dealing with him, so you weren’t going to fail now. “It was just a quick run to the market so I didn’t feel the need to be dolled up.”
He let out a low grunt as he kept on typing, clearly not interested in your story.
“If I catch any paparazzi pictures of you outside with those clothes, I’ll revoke your going out privileges.” He simply stated and you could feel rage growing inside your stomach, but you swallowed it as much as you could, knowing that there was no worth in fighting back. It was a battle you were already settled to lose.
He sighed as he closed his laptop, standing from the couch. “You give me a headache.”
“I’m sorry” you played the best you could.
“Tell me, darling” he approached you from behind, standing close, but not too close to feel his breath fanning, and held your chin in between his fingers as he stared at you without any commotion “, you know how lucky you are to be married to me? No one else would want your ugly self.”
You frowned, unfazed by his words. By now you were pretty used to them, but today he seemed more confrontational. You mocked his words; “Oh, thank you, my sweet savior.”
“I am your savior. You would be nothing without me.”
Yeah, yeah, sure. You tried your best not to roll your eyes.
“Now go to your room, I’m tired of seeing your face. I’ll send someone to give you dinner later” he said as he turned on his heel, uninterested in you once again.
“You mean lunch” you said, crossing your arms.
“No, you lost your lunch when you didn’t reply to my message.”
You sighed as he left, turning around, and leaving to your room quickly, closing the door behind you and jumping on the bed, screaming now into your pillow. His words didn’t get to you as they used to in your first year, but the rage was still there, crawling under your skin whenever you saw his eyes scanning you from head to toe. You were surprised though, it had been a while since you had to scream into your pillow.
Grabbing your purse, you searched for the hidden compartment you made yourself (thank god for those sewing classes that your mom put you in when you were 10) and retrieved your second phone, turning it on and feeling all the rage go away the instant the screen lit up.
[unknown number] it’s me.

"Your Barbie!"
Tumblr media
"Grandpapa! Grandpapa!"
The pitter patter of tiny feet on the wooden floors caused a small smile to form on Masaru's face as he folded up the newspaper he was reading to be greeted by his very smiley and energetic granddaughter. She put up her tiny little arms and made grabby hands at him, successfully melting his heart enough to pick her up and put her on his lap.
"What is it, Erica?"
The 5 year old grinned widely as she leaned on her grandfather's lap.
"Grandpapa! Mumma told me to tell you that- ... that.... um..."
Her voice trailed off as her eyes darted back and forth around the room.
"That.... um...."
Masaru snickered softly.
"Did you forget, sweetheart?-"
"NO! I remember! She told me to tell you that... um..."
She put up her chubby little hand to his face and looked away with a serious frown.
"I can remember it..."
"Yes you can, sweetie. Think harder, I'm sure you'll remember."
The little girl thought for a few more seconds before jumping off her grandpa's lap.
"Wait! I'll be right back!" And she zoomed out of the living room to the backyard. Mere seconds later, she came hurtling back with the biggest grin.
"I remember! Mummy told me to tell you that Papa said he got you barbie ready!"
Masaru raised an eyebrow at her.
"My barbie?"
"Yeah! Your barbie! It smells delicious!"
Masaru looked at Erica and blinked at her before the smell from the backyard reached him.
"Oh you mean barbecue!"
The toddler grinned.
"Yes! Your barbie!"
Masaru chuckled as he picked up Erica and brought her to the backyard.
"Thank you for calling me, Erica."
Her tiny arms wrapped around his neck.
"I love you, grandpapa."
He pressed a kiss to her temple as they stepped outside, where Katsuki, Mitsuki and you were plating up the barbecue you had grilled. He smiled, sighing contentedly.
"I love you too, sweetheart..."

more than enough (bakugou x reader)
Tumblr media
summary: You may have fallen in love with your childhood friend Deku, but your best friend Bakugou is in love with you.
pairing: bakugou x gn reader
genre: fluffy angst
warnings: slight swearing
word count: 5,071
a/n: thank you so much for all the love on my last post! here’s a longer one – hope you enjoy! please let me know what you think so that I can improve my writing :)
Bakugou Katsuki was many things - arrogant, prideful, and condescending – but he was never selfish. Especially when it came to you. You were his childhood friend, his number one supporter, his everything. And you were in love with Deku. So, he swallowed down his confessions, pasted on a sneer, and made fun of you like always because this was how it was supposed to be. The last thing he wanted was to make you feel uncomfortable, and if that meant silently watching you endlessly pine after Deku, he would deal with the heartache for you.
You refused to tell anybody about your crush on Deku because you were too scared to ruin the close friendship you two had. You constantly reminded yourself that just seeing him, spending time with him, and being friends with him was enough. It had to be enough, and you had nearly convinced yourself that it was until you ran into someone at the mall.
“Ow! Sorry-” You exclaimed before looking up to meet a familiar pair of glaring eyes. “Katsu?”
“Yeah, that’s my name idiot.” Bakugou grunted in reply, crossing his arms in annoyance. “I know you only have air where your brain is supposed to be, but at least try to watch where you’re going.”
You grinned up at him and nudged him playfully in response. “But then we would’ve never run into each other and you wouldn’t have been able to see my amazing face.”
He scowled back at you. “More like I wouldn’t have to deal with your nonsense. You should apologize to me properly.”
You rolled your eyes. “If anything, you should be apologizing to me because it was your stupidly broad shoulders that blocked my path.”
Bakugou cleared his throat, the tips of his ears turning pink.
You laughed triumphantly. “Katsu your ears are-”
“Shut up idiot! It’s just warm in here.” He growled, the faint blush turning darker as he looked away flustered. You smirked, before continue to scan around the mall.
“Who are you looking for?” Bakugou asked after noticing that your attention as no longer on him.
“Izu. We’re both grabbing lunch and watching a movie together.” You replied, eyes never ceasing their search. Bakugou wrinkled his nose in disgust and opened his mouth to reply before noticing the beaming smile spreading across your face. Following your line of sight, he spotted the source of your smile. His fists clenched tightly together as you excitedly waved at the green-headed boy, and he forced himself to tear his gaze away.
“Well, I guess I’ll see you around-“ The rest of his words died in his mouth as he noticed your beaming smile dim slightly. He turned back around to see that Deku wasn’t alone – he was laughing alongside another girl. Bakugou glanced over at you and noted the brief flash of pain in your eyes, before you quickly covered it up with a bigger smile. Bakugou narrowed his eyes as the pair approached you, unconsciously taking a step closer to you in an attempt to comfort you.
“Hi Y/N, I just ran into Uraraka on my way here! I asked her to join us but she says she doesn’t want to intrude. But you don’t mind if she joins us right?” Deku grinned, oblivious of your feelings. Bakugou looked over at you, and saw that you had your arms wrapped around yourself, as if you were trying to protect yourself from the world. Without thinking, he wrapped his arm protectively around you and glared at Deku.
Izuku blinked, startled for a second before grinning up at Bakugou. “Oh hi Kacchan! Do you want to join us too?”
Bakugou glanced over at you. You were staring at your shoelaces, your usually easy-going attitude replaced by one of discomfort and awkwardness.
“Actually, me and Y/N are going to get some food. We’ll see you later.” Bakugou growled before grabbing your hand and dragging you away. You let him drag you away, only taking a brief look back at Izuku who had just shrugged and immediately turned his attention back to Uraraka.
“Don’t look back at them idiot.” Bakugou gripped tighter on your hand. “What are you a masochist?”
You stayed silent, your mind still reeling with the way Izuku smiled up at her. He had never stared at you like that, and just thinking about it made you feel nauseous.
“Hey, stop ignoring me idiot. Look at me.” His voice rose when you ignored him again. “I said look at me dumbass! I know you’re dumb, but I didn’t know you couldn’t hear as well.”
“Not now Bakugou,” Your voice broke. “I’m not in the mood.” He immediately stopped walking and turned around to face you. Your body was trembling, and he watched helplessly as you tried not to break down in front of him.
“This is about stupid Deku isn’t it?” He said, voice uncharacteristically soft. Your eyes widened and you grimaced, purposefully avoiding his gaze.
“Don’t even bother lying about it either.” He continued, voice regaining it’s usually roughness. “You’re bad at many things, and lying’s one of them. It’s so obvious that you’re in love with that idiot.”
It hurt him to say that out loud, and he wanted to scream in frustration at how messed up this situation was. The person he was in love with was in love with his childhood friend and rival. It was frustrating how Deku seemed to effortlessly beat him in everything. First he had somehow managed to curry favor with All Might, and now he had stolen you without even trying. But at the same time, he couldn’t hate Deku more than he hated himself for not being good enough. He wished he was good enough - if he was good enough, then maybe All Might would have noticed him, maybe he wouldn’t feel this way, and maybe, just maybe, you would be looking at him the way that you look at Deku.
He wishes he could hit Deku for not realizing that he has the most amazing person in the world head over heels in love with him, but he buries these feelings deep inside of himself and walks towards you instead. Bakugou hesitantly reaches out and embraces you, and you melt into his arms, craving his comfort.
“It’s not enough Katsu,” you feel yourself break down as Bakugou’s arms surround you. “I thought being friends with him would be good enough but it’s not.”
He hugs you closer to his chest in response, and swallows down the lump growing in his throat. He knows it’s selfish, but he wants to stay like this forever with you in his arms. If only you weren’t so caught up in your feelings for Izuku, maybe you would be able to feel his heart and how it beat only for you. It had always only been yours.
“I don’t know what to do Katsu.” You mumbled, voice muffled against his chest. “What do I do?”
You feel Bakugou tense for a second as he thought of a response. When he finally spoke, it sounded like he was choking. “Why… you… confess?”
“Hmm?” You raised your head up at him, confused with his garbled response.
“Why don’t you confess?” He repeated through gritted teeth, struggling to get the words out. He holds you a little bit tighter before continuing. “He’d be an idiot to say no.”
You immediately shook your head. “I’m not ready to tell him yet. Right now he sees me as just one of his best friends and I don’t want to jeopardize that.”
Your body started trembling again, and Bakugou’s heart clenched in response.
“I’ll help you.” His lips moved before he can stop them.
You looked up at him, your eyes widening with excitement. “Really?!”
He wanted to take it back the moment he said it, but as he stares into your pleading eyes he knows that he’ll do anything to ensure your happiness.
“Yeah, everyone knows your useless without my help anyways.” He says, and as he stares at the beaming smile you give him, he knows he made the right choice. He would endure all the suffering in the world if it guaranteed your happiness.
Just being in your life was enough.
Despite his constant training to become the number one hero, Bakugou always set time aside for you. Before Bakugou promised to help you with Deku, the two of you would stay up late at night asking playing twenty questions.
“Hmm okay, favorite cuisine?” You asked one night, as the two of you sat on the couch, knees just brushing each other.
“Anything spicy.”
You sighed, but the corners of your lips twitched upwards. “That’s not a type of cuisine. I meant like do you like Japanese, Italian, Indian-”
“I know what cuisine means idiot.” He rolled his eyes. “My answer stays the same. I like spicy food.”
You stared at him incredulously, and he glared back, eyebrows raised challengingly. Unable to keep a straight face, you started laughing, the sound echoing throughout the room.
“Shut up idiot! Someone might hear us!” Bakugou furiously shushed you, as your body shakes with laughter. You covered your mouth to muffle the sounds, but your shoulder still shake with mirth.
“What are you laughing at anyways?” Bakugou asked once you’ve calmed back down, which only makes you burst out laughing again. “You-” You gasped for breath, struggling to speak in between your fits of laughter. “You look like an angry Pomeranian!”
Bakugou’s face burned, and he silently thanked the dim lighting for hiding his blush. “I don’t!” He protests.
“You do!” And as you burst into another fit of laughter, Bakugou couldn’t help the smile that slid onto his face because he loved hearing you laugh, even if it was at his own expense.
Bakugou always looked forward to spending time with you on those nights, but ever since he promised to help you, he would bring Deku along before leaving the two of you alone. And as you spend more time with Izuku alone, you feel the two of you grow closer than ever before. When the two of you couldn’t talk, you would tell him that you miss him, and he would blush before smiling back and saying that he missed you too. You even had the courage to start teasing Izuku on how cute he is, which would leave him a stuttering, blushing mess. You wouldn’t have been able to do that before, but with Bakugou silently supporting you, you felt like you could achieve anything.
However, something felt off. You found yourself missing the angry blonde boy, and you felt as if you hadn’t seen him in weeks. You missed his comforting caramel scent, your late night conversations, and even his snarky remarks. It felt as if he was gradually distancing himself from you, and just thinking about it made you feel uneasy. So, after talking to Izuku one night, you grabbed something from your room and snuck into Bakugou’s room like old times. He jumped up immediately, fists clenched and ready to fight. However, as soon as he noticed that it’s you, his body relaxed and he motioned for you to come in. You walked in, noticing the broadness of his shoulders and the muscles adorning his back for the first time. You looked away quickly, face burning red as you sit down on his bed.
“So are you going to tell me what’s wrong?” Bakugou spoke first.
You looked up confused. “Does something have to be wrong for me to come over?”
“You only come over without me asking you to when there’s something wrong.” He stated calmly, as if he’s merely reiterating facts or the weather. For some reason, your heart clenched at that statement, but you brushed the feeling away and focused on tracing heart shapes into Bakugou’s bedsheets instead
You wanted to tell him that you’re here just because you missed him and his teasing, but when you opened your mouth, the words got stuck in your throat.
“Um, thanks for helping with Izu, it really means a lot.” You felt Bakugou stiffen next to you, and you inwardly cursed yourself for not having the courage to say the truth.
“Whatever dumbass. I only helped you because you can’t do anything by yourself.” Bakugou’s voice came off harsher than normal as he tried to hide his disappointment at your last comment. For a second he thought that you were going to say something more, but that was just wishful thinking.
A moment of awkward silence follows that’s never been there before, and you fight the urge to fidget. Something between the two of you feels off, yet you couldn’t figure out what it was. The atmosphere felt stilted and wrong, cluttered with too many unspoken words and suppressed feelings.
“I got you a thank you gift. You know, for helping me with Deku and all,” You interrupted the silence. Reaching behind you, you pulled out the gift bag that you had managed to hide behind you. “I saw this and I thought of you…” You trailed off, unsure of why you felt so nervous.
He carefully took the gift bag from you, cradling it in his hands. He gazed at it intently, as if it were some prized possession that would disappear the moment he looked away.
“Don’t worry it’s not going to explode or anything if you open it.” You joke as he continues to stare at the present. “Go on, open it!”
Bakugou rolled his eyes and reached inside the bag, only to feel something soft. With growing confusion, Bakugou pulled it out before staring at it incredulously
“You got me a stuffed animal Pomeranian?” He grimaced, staring at the fluffy animal with thinly veiled horror.
“It reminded me of you!” You smiled. “And it’s not just a stuffed animal - you attach it to your phone like this!” You pulled out your phone, which had a matching Pomeranian dangling off of it, and waved it in front of his face. “See? We can match now!”
“That’s even worse!” He growled, shaking his head. “You’re crazy if you think I’m going to put that-that thing on my phone.”
“Don’t tell me the Great Katsuki is scared of a little Pomeranian.” You grinned, as he sputtered indignantly. “Don’t worry I can always return it, if you want...” You reached over to grab the little animal only for him to snag it away from you.
“I’m not scared! Tsk, whatever I’ll put the stupid thing on.” Eyebrows furrowed in concentration, Bakugou focused on attaching the Pomeranian to his phone.
And as you stared at his serious expression, the awkward tension from before melted away. You smiled, and let out a laugh of relief, causing Bakugou to look up at you. He missed hearing your laughter, and hearing it again made him feel like he had finally arrived home.
“Hey Katsu,” You leaned against him, eyes fluttering closed. “Let’s hang out this weekend.”
“Yeah whatever.” He grunted, his heart racing as he felt your body lean into his. He looked over at you to see your smile widen, the sight so bright that it made his heart catch. He wrapped his arm around you, and pretended for a moment that this was real, that you were his, and that this would last forever.
This time, he almost believed himself when he said that this was enough.
The following weekend, you and Bakugou went to an arcade together. You were surprised by how much you had missed his company, and you found yourself laughing and smiling more than you had in the past week. His competitive nature made him an excellent opponent, especially when he kept losing to you in Mario Kart.
“That didn’t count!” Bakugou growled as you won for the sixth time in the row. “It’s this shitty machine that’s broken, do you hear me?”
“Yeah, the machine lost not you.” You said with a serious face, but the twitching corners of your mouth revealed your amusement. “C’mon, let’s go take photos in the photo booth.”
And so, after dragging a reluctant Bakugou behind you, the two of you ended up squished inside a photobooth. Wrapping your arms around him, you grinned just as the camera flashed. After doing two more poses, you grabbed the photos and looked at them with satisfaction.
“Look Katsu, don’t we look cute?”
Bakugou grudgingly looked down at the picture, and found that he couldn’t look away. You were right, the two of you looked as if you were made to be next to each other, and he felt his heart speed up as he looked at the you in the picture whose arms were hugging him.
“Here you get to keep one.” You grinned, shoving a copy of the pictures into his hand before putting your own copy away in your pocket. “Now let’s go get some food.”
As you both waited in line for lunch, Bakugou turned to look at you curiously.
“I never got the chance to ask you, but why do you like Deku so much?”
“Well he’s-” You froze for a moment, mind racing to come up with an answer only to come up with nothing. How had you never asked yourself this question before?
“He makes me laugh,” you told yourself, before realizing that the person you laughed the most around was Bakugou. Late nights filled with laughter and Bakugou immediately flickered into your head, and you uncertainly pushed them away.
“He’s always there for me.” You thought, yet your mind automatically wantdered to the person who had truly always been by your side. It was Bakugou who comforted you whenever you were upset. It was Bakugou who supported you from the sidelines and made you feel like you could do anything. And if you ever needed help or someone to talk to, it was Bakugou that you turned to. You desperately extinguished all thoughts of Bakugou as quickly as they formed, scared of what would happen if you allowed them to continue
“He cares about me,” You thought triumphantly, relieved when no thoughts of Bakugou immediately come to mind.
“Except, who’s the one who cares enough to know everything about you?” A voice in the back of your mind asked. You immediately thought back to how Bakugou could answer every single question about you. From something as important as your birthday, to as insignificant as your least favorite word, Bakugou cared enough about you to commit every single thing about you to memory.
“No one cares more about you than Bakugou,” The voice whispered before disappearing, leaving you with jumbled thoughts and newfound emotions.
“Sorry you don’t have to answer that,” Bakugou broke through your daze, worriedly eyeing your perturbed expression. “It’s probably because idiots attract other idiots right?”
“Right.” You slipped on a shaky grin. “Oh we’re almost up next! What are you going to get?”
Bakugou could clearly see that something was troubling you, but he decided to let it go for now. After the two of you bought your lunch, you both sat down at a nearby booth. As you guys continued talking, he watched in relief as the troubles you had earlier seemed to melt away. However, his good mood was instantly ruined the moment he spotted a familiar freckled face.
“Kacchan? Y/n?” Deku approached you both with a dopey smile on his that you had grown to love.
“Izu!” You smiled, your heart speeding up at the sight of him. “What are you doing here?”
“Just grabbing a couple things for a friend.” His cheeks flushed as he spoke. “What about you guys?”
“We’re just hanging out.” You glanced over at Bakugou who was staring broodingly out the window, seemingly set on ignoring Deku. You rolled your eyes at him before looking back over at Deku. “Sorry, just ignore him. We’re still on for movie night tomorrow right?”
Deku’s grinned faltered for a second before he started fidgeting with his hands, a habit he had picked up a while ago. You felt the smile slipping off your face – Izuku only ever fidgeted when he was nervous or felt guilty about something.
“What’s wrong Izu? Are you okay?” Your worry grew as his eyes darted from side to side guiltily.
“Yeah I’m fine! Sorry, it’s just that I totally forgot about the movie night tomorrow and made plans with Uraraka and I know we made the plans first but-” His voice trailed off, but you immediately realized what he wanted.
“You want to cancel so you can hang out with her right?” You finished his train of thought for him, stomach sinking with dread. He looked back up at you, eyes full of hope. You feel your stomach drop, and your chest protests in pain.
You forced yourself to smile for his sake. “Of course, we can always reschedule Izu.”
His grin widened, immediately erasing any trace of his nervousness. “I knew you would understand, thank you! And you could always join us if you want?”
“Us” the word echoed in the back of your head, taunting you. You couldn’t help but wonder when they had become an us, and you had become an outsider. You knew that the invitation was only formality, a tacked on afterthought to be considerate. You had somehow become his second choice, and the realization hurt. You pasted on another smile, determined to hide your pain from him.
“That’s alright Izu, maybe next time. I hope you guys have fun.”
Bakugou narrows his eyes at your crumbling façade, before glaring vehemently at Deku. He’s never wanted to punch the oblivious boy more than he does right now. He clenches his fist under the table, effectively hiding the mini sparks emitting from his palms. If it were any other day, he would challenge Deku to a fight, but today he needed to stay calm so that he could stay and comfrort you. Deku opened his mouth to say something, but Bakugou quickly cut him off before he could hurt you further.
“I think you should leave.” Bakugou’s tone leaves no room for argument, yet Deku still hesitates, his eyes darting between Bakugou and you before coming to a conclusion.
“Right.” Deku awkwardly grins. “I’ll see you guys later.”
The minute he walks away, you bury your face into Katsuki’s shoulder.
“I don’t get it Katsuki. Why am I not good enough?” Your eyes prickled, yet the tears refused to fall.
Bakugou looked helplessly down at you, before tugging you closer, only able to offer you his warmth.
“You are enough.” He whispered softly, yet you missed his words as you tried to block out the world around you. But if you had closed your eyes and listened close enough, you would have heard the words Bakugou was repeating to you like a broken record.
“You’re more than enough to me.”
Several months passed after the Deku incident, and you found yourself growing closer and closer to Bakugou. Although the pain of Deku liking someone else was nearly unbearable, it started to lessen as time went on. Bakugou helped a lot - his presence always comforted you, and you found that as spending time with him made all thoughts of Deku vanish.
However, Bakugou knew that talking about Deku still remained off limits. Whenever he tried to subtly bring the green haired boy up, you would completely shut down and block him out. He knew it wasn’t healthy for you to bottle up your feelings like that, but eventually stopped bringing Deku up knowing that you would talk to him about it when you were ready.
Since you didn’t seem to want to go out anymore, Bakugou had taken it upon himself to resume your late night question game. So, as usual, he grabbed your favorite snacks and waited for you in his room. You walked in a couple minutes later, a smile spreading onto your face as you saw Bakugou.
“You hardly ate anything at dinner.” Bakugou said as he dumped the snacks for you onto his bed. “Thought you might be hungry.”
“Thanks Katsu!” You grinned, before your eyes started to drift to his messy blonde hair. Had it always looked that soft? You had the sudden urge to touch it and before you could think, your hand had already reached out, freezing halfway. What was wrong with you? You quickly dropped your hand back down, pretending that you meant to grab one of the snack bags,
“Okay, you can start.” You said, your traitorous fingers still itching to find out if his hair was as silky as it looked. You opened the snack bag instead.
Bakugou cleared his throat. “Favorite animal?”
“Easy. Pomeranians.” You said, too focused on your food to notice the small blush spreading across the back of Bakugou’s neck. “Who’s your favorite person?”
He wanted to tell you the truth, but the words got stuck in his throat, refusing to come out. He stuttered out a response instead. “I-I don’t know! Why would you ask that idiot?”
You looked up, surprised to see that he was flustered. Putting your snack aside, you scooted closer to him until both of your knees were touching. “C’mon Katsu you can tell me. I’m your best friend right?”
And as he stared into your pleading eyes, he knew that he could never say no to you when you looked at him like that. He sighed in defeat. “It’s you, okay idiot? I guess you’re my favorite person, though I can’t imagine why.”
Something that felt like butterflies fluttered excitedly in your stomach as you stared at the blonde boy. Your heart had always quickened whenever you’d see Deku, but it had never beat out of your chest like this. Your eyes unconsciously flickered down to his lips and you felt your breath hitch. His teeth were caught on his lower lip, and you wondered for a moment what they would feel like against your own. You looked away, fighting the sudden urge to laugh. It was just Bakugou, so why were you acting like some lovesick teen?
Your eyes widened at the sudden realization and looking back into his eyes only confirmed your answer. The answer had always been there, something that you had always known, but just never thought about. These new realizations made your head spin, and you ran out of the room, dizzy and breathless. Bakugou called out after you, alarmed at your sudden exit, but you ignored him. You needed some time alone to think.
You avoided him for the next few days, yet he somehow still plagued your thoughts. You saw him everywhere, and the harder you tried to forget him, the more he seemed to appear. However, one day after class, he managed to find you as you aimlessly walked around the campus.
“You’ve been avoiding me.” He growled, and you didn’t realize how much you had missed his voice until you were drowning in it. You refused to look at him, afraid that if you did, you would immediately throw yourself into his arms and never let go. “Look I’m sorry if I made you uncomfortable. I understand if you want me to stay away from you, just say the word and I’ll do it.”
Him staying away from you was the last thing you wanted, but when you opened your mouth to tell him, something else came out instead.
“I never answered your question on why I liked Deku, did I?”
Bakugou clenched his fists in frustration. Even at a time like this, you felt the need to bring up that idiot? He already knew you liked Deku and not him, and being reminded of the fact still hurt a lot. He seethed in silence.
“He makes me laugh, he cares about me and he’s always there for me-” you listed, and Bakugou felt like screaming. He didn’t want to hear all of the reasons why you liked someone else and not him, and finally, he exploded.
“You’re such an idiot!” He screamed, startling you into looking up at him for the first time in days. He looked like a mess. The dark circles under his eyes revealed that he hadn’t slept for days, and his skin looked two shades too pale. You immediately rushed closer to him, worry enveloping you.
“When was the last time you’ve eaten? Why aren’t you sleeping? Are you okay?” The questions tumbled out of your mouth as you searched his face for answers.
“Do I look okay dumbass?” Bakugou shouts, causing you to take a step back. Everything that he had been holding back suddenly flooded out, like a dam that just burst. “I love you! I love you so damn much and I’ve given you everything, but it’s never enough for you is it? Why can’t I be enough, huh? You’re enough for me, so why-why can’t I be enough for you?”
He stopped suddenly, breathing heavily from his outburst. Your chest ached as you stared at him, but when you reached out to touch him, he shoved your hand away.
“You didn’t let me finish.” You spoke softly. “There’s no one in the world who makes me laugh more than you do. And if there’s someone who I want by my side for the rest of my life, it’s you.” Bakugou froze for a moment, and you reached out to touch his arm. This time he let you.
“When you asked me why I liked Deku, I didn’t give you an answer because all the reasons I could think of led me to you.” You leaned in closer to him, drinking in his warmth. “I ran out of the room the other day because I realized how much I liked you and I was too scared to admit it.”
You felt his arm wrap around you and you let out a sigh of contentment before continuing. “I think I’ve always been in love with you, Katsu. Sorry it took so long for me to realize it.”
Bakugou squeezed you tighter to his side, before turning to look at you with a besotted grin adorning his face.
“I love you too idiot.”
And as his lips met yours for the first time, you just knew.
He was more than enough.

Bnha Class 1-A with an Indian reader!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A/n: I have never seen some indian reader thing that have been fulfilling of sorts, so I made my own, just a heads up, I haven't ever written anything that's even remotely a fanfic but here I am with headcanons
Tumblr media
being the only Indian person around so many people was kind of lonely at first but since you began to understand Japanese culture better and started to love the people around you, it turned out to be lovely
but that doesn't mean your friends weren't curious
they'd ask you many things,,,
like, "you celebrate this?" shows you a festival that you aren't sure even exists
cue momo or you correcting them or making a google search
you taught mina some dances and even references to your fav movies
you were lost at the mall once and mina yelled "WANNA BE MY CHAMMAK CHALLO?" to find you
you were embarrassed but either way you responded by yelling back
the rest were confused, they caught on quick tho, now the others see it as a way to annoy you
One time they let you pick any movie you wanted and you thought PK would be a good idea like the basic bitch you are jk (we love that movie in this household)
Kaminari and surprisingly Bakugou and Iida watched till the end
cue Kami talking bout it for the rest of the week
Bakugou likes it when you show him recipes, he likes the way you can play with those flavours
you guys have fun times cooking things that aren't chicken tikka masala and naan
you gave Todoroki maggi instead of soba once.
one time you found Ochako rapping batameez dil
it wasn't the best thing to listen to
you made them watch Kumbalangi Nights
it hit them hard-
you never saw the place quite like that for a moment after a movie night
some of them felt some similarity to the movie sadly
great movie tho
midoriya showed the others a pic of you wearing a kurta/kurti once
someone lost their cool right then and there
anyways you love your culture and are glad to have people to share it with!!
Tumblr media
reblogs are appreciated <33

“And I Thought Momo & Todoroki Were Rich”
Tumblr media
Pairings: None Pronouns: She/Her Word Count: 1k Warnings: None
Tumblr media
Being the daughter of two high profile parents came with its perks. Your father’s business was considered a tech giant, and it made him one of the richest men in the world. Your mother had been the United States’ top neurosurgeon, before she retired deciding instead to focus on her philanthropic passions of bringing healthcare to developing nations through Doctors Without Borders. (My point is...y’all are rich rich)
“Alright everyone quiet down. There’s a new student coming today.” Aizawa stated tiredly, his shoulder length dark hair falling into his face a bit. He stood against the desk at the front of the room, his eyes going to the door when he saw the door knob turn.
“I hope it’s a hot girl!” Mineta remarked as Hagakure pushed him off his chair causing the short boy to fall face first onto the ground. Hagakure wasn’t a mean person, he just got annoying.
The door opened to reveal Nezu standing beside you, a brown skinned girl (BrOwN sKiNnEd GyaL..i’m sorry i had to). To the others, you seemed friendly enough with your full lips pulled up into a soft smile. Your dark hair came to just above your shoulders and you wore a simple red headband in your hair. “Hello everyone. I’m (y/n), it’s nice to meet you.”
“Woah? Where are you from? Your accent is so cool!” A blonde boy with a black lightning bolt in his hair asked, his eyes wide and a large smile on his face. “I’m Kaminari Denki, by the way.”
“I’m from New York.” You answered before taking the only empty seat which was beside a boy with half white and half red hair.
“Why’d you come to Japan? New York seems much cooler.” Mina sighed. “I’ve always wanted to go!”
“My dad is expanding his company and my mother wanted to expand her charity. I don’t mind though.” You explained with a shrug of your shoulders.
“Wait a second! Ochako it’s your birthday?!” Mina announced suddenly, after receiving a notification reminder on her phone.
“My birthday’s tomorrow, Mina.” The brown haired girl with rosy cheeks corrected her.
“It’s your birthday tomorrow? What do you like? Jewelry? Perfume? Shoes? Concert tickets?” You questioned thinking about some of the things you had given as presents to your friends in the past.
“N-no, that’s too much!” Ochako’s eyes widened as she shook her head.
“That’s okay. I’m sure I’ll be friends with everyone here, if that’s what you’re worried about?” You tried to reassure her. “It’s not that big of a deal, Ochako...I’ll surprise you then? Do you like pink?”
She nodded as you made a mental note. You had seen a really pretty necklace with a pink diamond in the center that was in the shape of a heart. You had originally wanted one for yourself, but it would be much more fun to match with someone.
After your first day of school at UA had ended you had been standing outside waiting for your driver to take you to your father’s company where you would meet your mother to go out to dinner.
“(Y/n)!” You turned hearing your name being called as you waved over to the group of girls and boys that were approaching you. Kaminari, Kirishima, Ochako, Midoriya, Jirou, Mina, Hagakure, Momo, and Bakugou (who had been dragged by Kirishima) came to stand near you.
“Oh hey guys! Thanks for making me feel welcome today! You all are great friends.” You smiled at them, before glancing behind you to look at the road to see if your driver had come yet.
“Do you wanna hang out tomorrow since today’s Friday?” They asked you as you thought about it for a minute.
“Tomorrow…” You paused running through your schedule. “I think I’m free tomorrow. Do you want to come over to my house? We just finished moving in!”
“Sure. Send us the address!” Mina answered excitedly as everyone nodded, even the explosive blonde agreed.
“We can have a party for your birthday Ochako! It’ll be perfect!” You said excitedly as you clapped your hands. “I’ve gotta go talk to my event planner! I’ve gotta get decorations! Wait...what kind of cake do you like? Do you even like cake? Maybe cupcakes?”
“E-event planner?”
“Yeah...I can’t plan a party by myself without input from him.” You said as if it was the most normal thing in the world. “He’s great! I gotta go! See you tomorrow! I’ll text you the details tonight.” You called as you walked off towards your vehicle where your driver was waiting with the door open for you.
It was the next day and the doorbell rang signaling that your new friends had just arrived. You opened one of the two large front doors to see the group holding snacks and gifts.
“Happy birthday Ochako!” You smiled, holding the small long blue box with a white ribbon wrapped around it. You pulled her into a hug as she entered your home along with  the rest of the class, before you stepped back allowing everyone to enter. You handed her the gift. “I hope you like it.”
“(Y/N)! T-This is too much! How much did this cost!” Ochako was practically speechless after puling the ribbon off and opening the box, her eyes wide as she held the beautiful necklace in her hands. It was a heart shaped pink diamond on a gold chain.
“Do you not like it?” You grew concerned. You always thought you had been a good gift giver, your old friends had always loved the gifts you gave them in the past.
“N-No I love it! It’s just really expensive isn’t it? How much did it cost?” Ochako questioned as you helped her put it on.
“Don’t worry Ochako! I got it at a great price because my mom is friends with the jeweler.” You explained. “It was only 1,470,490 yen! Isn’t that such a steal!” You said as everyone’s eyes widened at your smile.
“1,470,490.00 yen! (Y/n)!”
“I know, I feel kind of bad, I should’ve paid more.” You shrugged a small frown on your face. “Why are you all looking at me like that? Was it a bad gift? All of my other friends loved when I gave them gifts like this?”
“You spent more than one million yen on a necklace for someone you barely know.” Bakugou broke the silence with a roll of his crimson eyes. “Dumbass.” He added after a moment
“It wasn’t that expensive, relax guys. That’s only like my weekly allowance.” You said with a laugh and shrug. “Now come on! Let’s party!”
“Weekly allowance?” Kaminari sweatdropped. “And I thought Momo and Todoroki were rich.”

☁ studying together ( x reader hc's) ☁
characters: midoriya, bakugou, todoroki, kirishima, yaoyorozu, uraraka, + ashido
genre: fluff  <33
☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁☁
I. Midoriya 🌳🍀🌻
this poor boy is so excited to be spending time with you
but he will not take his nose out of his textbook
he can't help it
he's so happy to be in the hero course he takes his schoolwork a little too seriously
however, you can use this to your advantage ;)
normally you're almost as invested in his journey to becoming the next Symbol of Peace and achieving his dream as he is
and you would never dream of doing anything that could jeopardize it
So you were silently bouncing off the walls with glee when you realized he was impervious to distractions when it came to studying
literally anything is fair game
which is why studying with him is your new favorite time of day
pet his hair
kiss his cheeks
climb into his lap
pat his head
hold his non-dominant hand
hug him from behind his chair
rest your head on his shoulder and take a nap
do whatever you want
you can basically do anything to him while he's studying without having to worry about distracting him
he will blush a little bit of you kiss him but but you think it's adorable
lol turn on whatever tv or music you want
but only if you're done with your work!!
hes very adamant that you keep up with your work as best you can do you can graduate side by side and be pro heroes together someday
K. Bakugou 💣💥 📢
he would totally be the one to invite you to study and he would probably want to study in his dorm
it's super quiet and nobody will bother you guys because they know it's that spiky gremlin's room
overall his room just has a really relaxing atmosphere
you love being near him as much as possible
and he's much more affectionate in the comfort of his dorm room
but that doesn't mean he's gonna go easy on u ;-;
he still has his gruff attitude and will make sure you're studying every day
or else he will call u baka and force you to sit down and study until you know all your material
he's actually a great tutor tho
he writes out all the work for each problem and explains them thoroughly
all while holding in you in his arms while you sit in his lap
sometimes you can convince him to play a game with you where every time you get an answer right he gives you a kiss
but you whine when you get one wrong and he won't kiss you
he huffs before giving you a kiss while still trying to look annoyed
stupid girl he mutters
but he pulls you a bit closer to him to hide his blush and moves on to the next problem despite your giggles
S. Todoroki ❄🔥🍜
he doesn't really need to study but he doesn't know how to just .. relax
like he doesn't know how to not do what his dad tells him to do
and his dad wants him to study
it's just easier for Todoroki to do what his dad wants than to rebel
that is, it was
Until he met you and the dekusquad
obviously everyone cares about their homework and wants to graduate well and go Plus Ultra!
but study sessions with Todoroki usually end up just being you guys trying to help him be less hard on himself while you have him as a captive audience
he doesn't really mind, though, especially when it's just you two
the intimacy of studying together in comfortable silence and just
enjoying each other's company
makes his heart go (* ̄∇ ̄*)
like i said he doesn't really need to study so he'll just end up helping you review material
please just ... hold his hand :)
after you're done studying for the day just pull him into a hug and over to your bed
he needs a nap
you feel warm fuzzies inside from how caring he's been to sit with you while you finished your homework and bring you warm tea
you don't even think you just
Time for cuddles :3
it becomes your daily ritual to study together and then cuddle
he always falls asleep in your arms with a small smile
E. Kirishima 🗿🗿🗿
(HAHAHSHNSJ THE 🗿 EMOJI OMG I'M LITERALLY SO FUNNY LOL I'M CRYING)
"Okay, Y/N, let's study hard and do our homework like men!" *fist-pumping the air and grinning like an idiot*
"...what's so funny? "
he doesn't care if you're not a man it's his trademark
he likes to study at his desk because he says it's "important to stay focused and work diligently"
generally he is the least focused person, ever. besides kaminari.
however, he's so energetic and enthusiastic that once you sit down and start studying he'll be able to keep your motivation up until you've finished all your homework
GREAT at studying for tests and quizzes (in theory)
he will never give up
like I said he could keep studying for hours once he sets his mind to it
So you have to compromise and get him to study in short bursts throughout the day to help him have a better chance of remembering anything ;-;
his memory is not great but it's kinda cute
you, being the smart cookie that u are, realized the best way to help him memorize things was to study with flashcards frequently throughout the weekend while doing other activities
so you plan to hang out together and do something fun every week while having your study material on index cards in your back pockets
it's a literal study date.
a weekly date out to the mall or the park or a little coffee shop but with math trivia thrown in randomly throughout the afternoon!! :D
Of course he was ready to turn it into a game he's a literal puppy
he just wants to show you you can be proud of him
you giggle lightly when you hear him say that and let him know that you'll always be proud of him, no matter what
M. Yaoyorozu 👑🏆☕
studyblr wants what u have.
studying in momo's room makes you feel like a Victorian young lady studying moral philosophy, writing poetry about the mourning doves outside the garden window, and waiting for her husband to come home from sailing the seven seas
it's your Belle moment where she's in the royal library except it's every day
stacks of beautiful, old books
the smell of the crisp, white pages
soft classical music floating through the air
the window cracked open slightly
and you are the luckiest student in all of UA because you get to study with the smartest girl in the whole school
she's also gorgeous and sweet and perfect which def doesn't hurt
u know that joke that ur teacher can spend a year explaining something and u never understand but then a random indian guy on YouTube explains it in 2 minutes and you finally get it
she is that random indian guy
you will never struggle with a single concept after you start studying with her
And she's so proud of you for every little question you answer correctly
(even thought she's the one that explained it all so well in the first place)
it's the definition of comfortable silence
she insists that neither of you study too hard and that you take lots of breaks to stretch
she says its to help you stay concentrated but really she just wants to feel your gentle hands on her shoulders as you massage out the knots
you take turns kneading the tension out of each other's shoulders
you feel a pleasant tingle down your spine at the feeling of her soft breath on the back of your neck
She pulls away and you share awkward smiles, neither of you realizing the other one of blushing, too
(((*≧艸≦)ププッ
O. Uraraka 🌜🚀🙏
ur actually super productive study buddies
Like u started studying together and then all of a sudden you were almost at the top of your class
she's just so sweet that being with her gives you the energy you need to write that essay all in one sitting instead of procrastinating like a normal person
Shows up at your dorm with snacks and drinks to keep your energy up!! :D
even though she's still going to end up getting sleepy anyway later in the afternoon
You get most of your studying done at the beginning of your study date so it's not really a problem
you know she doesn't have a lot of money to be throwing around so you pay for dinner every night
It's usually takeout but sometimes you guys make your own dinner for fun!
it always turns out almost inedible and burned because neither of you were paying attention to the stove
don't let baku see it or he'll start screaming about how you need to try your best at everything so he can beat you fair and square and that includes cooking too
neither you nor uraraka can handle spicey food so you never eat what Bakugou cooks for the class
You grab a few bags of chips and some sushi and shut yourselves in your dorm to pull an all-nighter study session about once a month
it should make you tired but, again, studying with her is so enjoyable that you don't mind
u two enjoy each others company in studying so much that you sometimes read ahead in your textbooks just to be able to study more
overall, hanging out with her is just lighthearted and filled with giggles
and you just so happen to get all your homework done along the way
M. Ashido 👾👽🚿
"studying" with her is so much fun
Hanging out with Mina in general is so much fun
it's impossible not to smile when she's around so even if you have a huge exam tomorrow, all your worries fade away just from being with her
She is pretty distracting in cases where you actually wanted to get stuff done
But you don't care
Change of plans
you're doing mani pedi's with Mina
No more studying
it's not as bad as it sounds though
You're not slacking off or anything and you can still keep your grades up with help from your other friends like Momo and Iida
you guys are just goofing off in the privacy of your dorm room when you should be studying
"It's not a crime to be young, Y/ N ;)"
she's just so energetic and happy like a little pink ball of sunshine
you can't help but laugh at her silliness and cute antics after a long day of classes
she makes your heart beat faster like you're on a roller coaster but without the nerves
somehow you feel giddy and comfortable in her presence at the same time
it doesn't matter what you two are doing, you always have fun
make sure she goes to bed on time, though, or she might end up baking a seven-tier cake at 3 am and Bakugou will scream at you for waking him up
don't feed her after midnight lmao
i started writing this after i almost died of boredom in my online calc class. my senioritis is already kicking in and it's still September (。-ω-)
