Hi rbs, just want to say thank you for your blog. (Former?) mtjj here that was getting tired of solo fandom toxicity and started questioning things, so I began reading your posts in order to gain another perspective. I really appreciate how organized and easily accessible you have made all your info/metas; you seriously made everything very easy to understand and did I ever fall into the rabbit-hole because of it. To say the least…I’m a clown now 😂
I was just wondering if you’ve came across the following post from yibo yet? I’d love to hear your thoughts because it’s actually what made me start questioning things to begin with: He’s standing with his arm around somebody who has been (conveniently) cut-off, and that person is holding a racket that (coincidentally) looks very similar to xz’s. I can’t find the posts of xz’s tennis racket, so can’t 100% confirm. Just seems very 👀 that he felt the need to cut the person out unless they were somebody who would send his fans into an uproar. But what do I know? I’m probably clowning, just thought it was very interesting!

I love hearing what transforms someone into a turtle. It's always so interesting! Particularly solos, because I suspect they're a lot less prone to falling into the rabbit hole than the average passerby.
It's true that picture is very 👀. Kind of difficult for anyone to argue that it doesn't look uncannily like GG's racket. I mean...
That's the thing that a lot of solos don't realize. We're not just here crying over a drama from 4 years ago that we can't let go of, or obsessing over fan service or something. We're here for a reason. The supertopics keep growing for a reason. We believe for a reason. There's evidence to support our perspectives. A lot of it. And it's new and fresh, delivered regularly. Turtles are well fed.

oo snowkit becomes snowcarve?
He does!
In StarClan, you can use the names and appearance that you could have had, if you died young. It's very rare that you get permakits or permapprentices. I lifted from the COTC story about Smallstar and his siblings.
(Though, in BB those kits actually survive and it's MAPLESHADE’S kits who lead to the law on protecting children, Darkstar's Commandment, the Queen’s Rights. Smallstar is the leader of WindClan and xey're super chill. Xey own a lovely shawl.)
So Snowkit chooses to appear as Snowcarve, an Honor Title he would have earned for the creation of a full written Clan cat language, expanded from the simple glyphs. I'm not sure if he's a popular patron, but I do know that Bramble and Tawny invoke him sometimes.
Unfortunately though he's more invoked for general guidance by the two of them, not for possibilities like I think he'd like. He watches over them though, like a guardian angel. A lot of cats secretly have those.
I'm not sure who he follows around more often though. I think he LIKES following Tawny more because she's a better listener to his omens. But he feels like Bramble NEEDS him more, y'know?
Also notably, Snowcarve was technically their uncle, but the relationship is best described as "1st cousin." Rabnir in Clanmew, a familial role about somewhat distant but parallel growth, seen also with Brightpaw and Swiftpaw.
#Snowcarve has a lot of opinions on the Clan and its actions#I think he really strongly dislikes how they tried to 'honor' him with Whitewing#She's deaf and serious but he doesn't feel like they're very alike at all. She doesn't even like glyphs.#I think in general he feels a lot of resentment about how they remember him as something so innocent and simple#One of the interesting implications of how dead kids work in BB that I haven't explored much is--#--that they will be remembered for the most simple part of their existence#But they're like angels. They have a lot of tasks and jobs they carry out and they learn all that#And see what they could have been on earth. And even claim it. They aren't connected to that innocent image of themselves#Or even to the mortal plane in general. #silm#silmarillion#idril#tuor#earendil#reverse gondolin au#is this baby earendil's first appearance in the au?#so I decided Idril & Tuor still get married in this au#mostly bc I want Earendil to exist.#i haven't figured out what I want to do with Lomion#but maybe he can be obsessed with tyelpe instead of idril bc they're friends in this au and idril showed up a lot later?#also c&c + celebrimbor moved to gondolin instead of nargothrond since Aredhel lives there#you may notice that tuor has a diff hairstyle & outfit in the au!#this is bc fashion trends in reverse gondolin are more influenced by aredhel's choices than turgons for obvious reasons#hence the white cloaks and shorter (but equally fancy) sleeves#also idril is lord of the mole in the au#my headcanon is that 'lord' as of the lords of gondolin is just the title regardless of gender for the specific role#'lady' is a different role with much less administrative stuff and more social/public-appearance type stuff#aredhel is the white lady of gondolin bc she does Not want to be a lord#so she does the occasional royalty-waves-and-smiles-from-a-tower type event when necessary#but other than that she doesnt have political duties#idril is the administrative/political leader of the Mole in the au hence she is a lord#shes also the lady of the wing bc she married tuor and is part of the house of the wing's nobility but doesn't do their political stuff#and tuor is the lady of the mole#reverse turgon after arrival has less of a interest in politics than canon turgon (the whole eol deal was rather traumatizing and he needs#time to recover)#so he's not one of the Lords but he is colloquially ar-feinion#his official title is some sort of prince#after he reaches a more stable emotional state he helps a lot w the political stuff when aredhel is out#so maeglin doesn't have todo everything himself
