give me the bob’s burgers episode where tina gets into a sudoku phase but she not’s really all that good at it. she tries! but regardless louise gets really into solving them and like steals them and does them at night so tina thinks seems a sudoku genius but only when she’s asleep. louise doesn’t want to tell anyone because sudoku is like educational and good activity for your brain!! but gene or maybe bob catch her and encourage her to tell the truth.

Massive Deal [3]

Regina George x Fem!Reader: (includes janis ‘ImI’ke x Fem!Reader)
3.6k Words: Part 3, Part 1, Part 2
Janis dropped you home, it was quite late so you weren't expecting anyone to be awake, you quietly opened the door, all the lights in the house were off which made you relax.  You take out your phone and turn the flashlight on, gasping in fear when you see the figure of your sister, she stands up to turn the light on and just stares into your eyes, leaving you confused. "I called Bella." She said, with a small smirk in her voice.
You sighed deeply, rolling your eyes, "And?" You ask, "She said she wasn't with you." You go past her to walk up the stairs and into your room, but she grabs your wrist, stopping you from going any further, "Care to explain that?" You shake your head, "No actually, It's none of your business!" You say loudly, annoyed by how nosey she is. "It is! You're my younger sister and I need to protect you from gross boys!"
You rip your arm away from her grip, "I am fine on my own!" You say loudly before running upstairs and into your room. You just fall onto bed, not being bothered to change, you were annoyed at your sister for being so nosey, and also slightly annoyed at Bella for not covering for you.
Your eyelids start to slowly close, before you know it they are opening again but this time the bright sun is glaring into your room, making you squint your eyes. The first thing you do is check your phone, you see you have a few different messages from a few different people.
You have two from Janis, one of them was from the night before, "I know you're probably asleep right now but I wanted to wish you goodnight." Then another one from this morning, "Good Morning! Can't wait to see you at school." You smile and blush at the text, you start typing a message back but you keep cringing at what you're saying so you end up only saying, "Morning! I fell asleep so quickly last night I didn't even see this message."
You smile, seeing that she already saw it and typing but your heart drops when you get a text from Bella, "I'll be there at 5." You throw your phone down and quickly changed, wearing something super casual, you brush your hair, panicking because you don't have enough time to get ready, you couldn't do your makeup or eat any breakfast, you thought you had some time to spare as you were packing your back but then you heard Bella beep her horn, she wouldn't stop.
You let out a loud groan as you put your back around your shoulder and rush out, she is in her car, pretending to be asleep, making you roll your eyes. You open the door and sit in the passenger seat, Bella takes a quick look at you, giggling, "Damn you look like shit." You hit her shoulder, she quickly apologises and drives off.
You feel your phone vibrate, you sit up slightly so you can pull it out of your back pocket, you look at the notification for a little bit, you were slightly confused but it was from Oliver, being very curious you open it, "Hi, can we talk before school today? Meet behind the bleachers." You look at Bella, then look back at your phone, texting back, "Sure, I'll see you there."
When Bella parks her car, she wants to walk into school with you, as you always do, "Sorry Bel, not today, I have to do something,  I'll see you in class!" With that you run off, going behind the belchers, you pull out your phone, going to text Oliver that you are here, before you're able to send it you feel someone tap your shoulder, you rapidly turn around, smiling when you face Oliver. "Hey." He smiles, "Hi." You smile back.
There was an awkward moment of silence, you were waiting for him to say something because he was the one that told you to come here. "So..." You start and he remembers what he was going to say, "Oh! Yeah! Um.. So I see you're close with Janis and I was wondering." He hesitates before saying, "Would you be able to.. Get me with Damien?" You were shocked with the question, you didn't expect him to like boys, but you didn't want to make a huge deal about it because you know if it was the other way around, you would hate it.
"Sure. I'll try my best." Oliver smiles brightly, giving you a hug, when he pulls away he stares at you, giggling, which makes you confused, "What's wrong?" You ask, he giggles again before saying, "Nothing! I just love your jacket." You smile, looking down at your outfit. You were wearing light washed jeans and a grey hoodie, the hoodie had an image of a dinosaur on it, it wasn't what you normally wear, you just threw on whatever you could find. "Thanks." You say happily, "I'm going to call you Dino from now on." Oliver tells you.
You chuckle quietly, "Okay." He smiles at you, "Bye Dino! I'll talk to you later," When he left, you started to feel a bit sad, you felt sad that he had the confidence to go up to people and tell them that he likes men, you only wished you could do that, you slowly walked to class, no one else was in the hallways because class started a few minutes ago, you weren't paying attention to where you were going, you bump into someone. You look to see who it is and you sigh in relief when you see that it's Janis.
"Hey Y/n" She smiles waving slightly at you even though you're right next to each other, "Hi Janis." You smile back, trying to break the quietness, but only more silence happens after that, "Do you want to go out? On Friday night?" You smile, nodding your head, she was about to pull you in for a kiss but someone walked out, the two of you quickly pulled away, hoping they wouldn't notice, luckily they didn't and luckily it was Bella.
"Janis! What If someone saw!" You exclaim loudly but not too loud where someone would be able to hear. You could see she rolled her eyes slightly but tried to hide it, "It was only Bella! She already knows!" You sigh, "It could have been someone else." You say, walking off with Bella trailing slowly behind you.
When you walked off, Janis started to feel bad for what she said, she knew she had to respect you and if you weren't okay with coming out then that's fine. She pulled out her phone, sending a long message, "Hey Y/n, I'm sorry for what happened back there, I'm not used to hiding my sexuality but I need to respect your wishes, I will try harder from now on."
A few seconds later after sending the text, she gets one back from you, smiling over reading what you sent. "That's okay, I'm just not ready to tell people I have a girlfriend."
"You have a girlfriend?" Janis sends back, when you read over what she said, your eyes go wide and you feel the blush form on your cheeks, "Well, Do I?" When you message back, Janis starts typing as soon as you ask the question. The few seconds that she is typing feels like the longest seconds of your life. When the message finally goes through, you have a bright smile, but are still trying to hide it so no one gets suspicious.  "Yes. Yes you do Baby."
Having a closested girlfriend was harder than Janis though, she knew it was going to be hard but she didn’t know it was going to be this hard. Despite the feeling inside her, all the moments she shared with you brushed away the feeling. It was late at night and the both of you couldn’t sleep.
You were tossing and turning in your bed, unsure of the time, it felt like you have been trying to fall asleep for hours, you reach out for your phone that is sitting on your bedside table, when you turn it on, your eyes squint at the bright light, you quickly turn the brightness down. Opening up your phone, you scroll until you get to Janis contact, you let out a loud yawn before you start typing.
“I can’t sleep, are you still up?” you send it and you honestly didn’t expect her to see it, so you turn your phone off and close your eyes, but only a few minutes later, you hear your phone vibrate, you quickly pick it up and check what the notification was, you smile brightly when you see it was from your girlfriend. “Yeah I’m up baby, only because I have this art project due, what are you doing up?” You smile at her reply, blushing at the pet name. “I can’t sleep.”
She saw the message instantly and was typing her response right away, “You should sneak out and come over.” You smile, the idea sounded amazing, it was Sunday tomorrow and your parents were away for the weekend, so it was perfect.
The only thing that was making you hesitate to go was you knew that your sister would be nosey about it, she would definitely spam you with messages wondering where you are, the more you thought about it, the more you didn’t care, you messaged her saying that you’ll be there in 20 minutes, which gave you enough time to get up and quietly go downstairs, get on your bike and ride to Janis’ house.
Janis told you to climb through the bedroom window, luckily, her bedroom was on the bottom floor, you knocked quietly on the window, shortly after a happy Janis opened the window, allowing you to climb inside.
When you get inside, the two of you jump on her bed, holding each other close, you finally feel tired and you can feel yourself falling asleep, it only felt like a few minutes had passed but when you opened your eyes, the sun was out and janis was still asleep with her arms wrapped around tightly around you, pulling out your phone, you gasp and jump up when you see the time.
It’s 12pm and you have twenty messages from Gretchen and many missed calls, you kiss Janis’ forehead, not wanting to disturb her, you climb out the window, hopping on your bike and quickly pedal home. When you get there, Gretchen is death glaring at you, “Where were you?” she asks, sternly, you roll your eyes again, saying nothing you just stand there. “Don’t lie to me, just tell me.”
You know Bella wouldn’t cover for you, as you had figured out from last time, you take a deep breath before saying, “I was out will Oliver.” You hoped that if Gretchen called Oliver, he would cover for you, Grtechen smiled brightly and squealed loudly, jumping up and down. “Oh my god! That’s amazing! I'm going to call Regina.” She runs off to her room and you quickly pull your phone out.
You call Oliver and thankfully he picks up right away “Oliver, I had to pretend I was with you last night so if Gretchen or anyone asks, please say I was with you.” Olivier laughs before saying, “Y/n. Calm down, of course I will.” He says, making you sigh in relief, “Why do you need to lie about where you were?” Your heart drops, you gulp, “Reasons, thank you so much.”
You go upstairs and lay on your bed, scrolling on your phone through every social media app, you hear a knock on your door then it instantly opens, “I’m going out with Regina so tell Mom and Dad where I am,” She says, not looking up from her phone then leaving and not closing the door.
Around 30 minutes after she left, you got a message from Bella, “Hey Y/n, I was just wondering if you could send me the notes for Chem? You’re much smarter than me.” You giggle quietly, responding with, “Yeah sure but you owe me.” She leaves you on seen for a few minutes, then starts typing for a few more. “Can I ask you a question?” She asks, “Yeah sure, what’s up?” Bella starts typing again and it feels as if she is typing for ages. “Are you and Janis dating?”
You smile at the question, she is the only person you are out to so you feel comfortable telling her, “Yeah.” You respond, you smile when Bella responds. “I knew it! Omg that’s amazing.”
You switch to text Janis telling her that you told Bella about your relationship, she said that she was proud of you, she asked if she could tell Damien, you sighed loudly before saying, “Yeah sure.” She started spamming random letters in all caps, showing that she was excited, you knew Damien would judge you but you were still feeling very worried, you were scared.
You put your phone down and lie on your bed, you think about what it would be like if you came out, how your own sister would disown you, how everyone in the school would laugh at you.
The thought made your stomach drop, you laid on your stomach and shoved your face into the pillow, hiding the scared feeling inside you, you just cried and the tears never stopped, you eventually feel asleep.
You woke up to the sound of your Mom yelling your name, she was telling you to come downstairs because dinner was ready, you pushed yourself off your bed and quickly went to the bathroom, you washed your face and applied a bit of makeup so your parents don’t question anything.
After dinner you went straight up to your room and went straight to bed, this night, you fell quickly, you slept way better than last night, you wake up the next morning to the sound of you alarm, you grown realising it’s a school day, you check your phone first thing, you know it’s an unhealthy habit but you just can’t help it.
You were confused when you saw it’s a message from Regina, you opened your phone and you gasped at the message, she had never texted you before, she had never even messaged you before and you didn’t know how she got your instagram account.
“Party at my house on friday, you’re invited, don’t bring anyone lame.” You don’t know how to respond, you start typing slowly, there's only one thing that comes to mind, “Where’s your house?” She takes a few seconds to respond, “Are you dumb? Gretchen will drive you.” You actually forgot, you did feel really dumb for forgetting. You leave her on seen for a few seconds which she hates. So she sends another message, “You should bring Oliver.” You sigh, you know you have to act like you like him, you can tell him it’s all an act and you’re sure he will understand, “Yeah Okay.”
She smirks, leaving you on seen this time.
This was the start to everything that happened this year, the butterfly effect.
You didn’t know what to do, you were stuck and confused, you didn’t know whether to tell Janis about the party or keep it a secret. The situation makes you annoyed and groan loudly as you finally get out of bed, putting on some comfortable clothes then heading to school.
All your friends were happy, they must have also been invited to the party as well, everyone was discussing who they are going to bring to the party and you gulped because you remembered you would have to ask Oliver.
You leave your friends and look around the school to find the guy, you see him talking with a few other boys that are on the football team, you walk up behind him, tap his shoulder making him turn around.
His face goes from confused to happy in a matter of seconds, “Dino!” He exclaims loudly, giving you a hug, you giggle at the taller boy’s actions, pulling away from the hug, looking him in the eye, “I need to talk to you about something.”
He waits for you to start talking but you were slightly embarrassed to say it in front of Oliver’s friends, so after a short moment of no one saying anything you say, “In private.” He nods, grabbing your hands to move somewhere where no one can hear you.
“Regina invited me to her birthday, and asked for me to bring you.” You whisper, you expect him to be annoyed, but he just nods his head and gives you a hug, “I’ll come! when is it?” He asks, you smile brightly, feelings changing instantly, “Friday!” you exclaim, “Fine. I’m still waiting for you to talk to Damien by the way..”
You gasp slightly, you already forgot about the agreement that you made with him, Oliver rolls his eyes, hitting your arm softly, you giggle and run away, the taller guy chances after you, running around the oval, you don’t really look where you are going, you accidentally bump into someone, you look up from the ground to see who it is, you smile when you see that it’s Janis.
“Janis!” You exclaim happily, giving her a hug, which she returns, smiling just as bright as you, “Hey baby.” She says softly, not wanting to give anything away to anyone that could be watching, “Wanna go on a date this Friday?” You gulp, you smile, saying it the nicest and least suspicious way possible, “I’m busy this Friday.” Janis gives you a confused look in return, you gulp nervously again, not saying anything, “Really? Doing what?” She asks, biting the inside of her cheek.
You want to lie so she doesn’t get mad, but the way she is looking at you makes your body tremble and the truth comes out of you, “I’m going to Regina’s party.” You whisper, Janis looks at you in shock, you know what Janis did to Regina, but you still decide to pick her over you, she shakes her head and storms off, you feel a few tears form in your eyes and the worst part of this is that you can’t tell anyone.
You don’t know how to feel, you want to run after her but you were too scared, you just sighed and went to class.
There was a new girl in your class, you smiled when you saw she was wearing a bisexual pin on her bag, you decided to sit next to her because you can tell she looks very lost. “Hi I’m Y/n.” You smiled, she turned her head up to look at you, pushing her strawberry blonde hair out of the way, smiling back at you.
“Hi, My name is Cady.” She smiled shyly, you smiled back at her, taking a look at her timetable, telling her that you will show her around but she says it’s okay because someone is already doing that for her.
“Really? Who?” You ask, She sighs deeply, not being able to remember the name of the girl, “Oh she has dark hair, kinda short and beautiful make up.” You smile brightly, knowing who it was and you nod your head, “Janis?” You ask, Cady’s eyes go bright and she nods her head quickly, your smile  quickly fades when you realise Janis was still mad at you, you brush it off and put your focus towards the teacher.
The whole school day, you try to talk to Janis, but she ignores you, it hurts even more to see her acting touchy with the new girl. They were both out and rumours started to spread fast, they didn’t seem to be bothered by them which only broke your heart more.
You made up your mind, you were going to talk to Janis, no matter how hard she tried to ignore you, it needed to be done.
You walk to her table when she was sitting with Cady, she was playing with her hair so she was too distracted to notice you and walk away, you quickly made your way to her and taped her shoulder to get her attention, she turned around and ass soon as she made eye contact with you, she rolled her eyes, it hurt to see her like this but you brushed it off. “I need to talk to you.” You say, voice firm, Janis knew you weren’t fucking around anymore.
The two of you went into a closet, a few minutes after each other so no one saw, she looked into your eyes and it was obvious how mad she was. “I don’t understand why you are so mad!” You exclaim, Janis rolls her eyes, looking at you up and down, “Maybe because my girlfriend chose some plastic over her girlfriend.” She exclaims, pushing you slightly, moving to leave.
“You’re the one touching Cady and acting like no one thinks you are dating!” Janis rolls her eyes, “You’re being a little dramatic right now.” She starts, opening the door, she looks back at you, “Have fun at your stupid party.” Then leaves, you feel so empty, so stupid, you wait a few minutes before leaving yourself, head down, tears fighting to fall down, you end up bumping into a tall figure which makes you annoyingly groan, “Oh my god! Can you watch where you are going?” You finally look at who you bumped into and your heart drops when you realise it’s none other than the Queen herself.
“F-Fuck, I’m sorry Regina.” You say, looking down nervously, you hear a low chuckle come from the taller girl, she lifts your chin up to make you look at her, you felt so guilty for having butterflies in your stomach but you couldn’t control it, “See you at the party, loser.”

A little detail I loved in "The Amazing Rudy": when Rudy is eating with the Belchers, Gene gives up his usual chair and sits in the folding chair, letting Rudy sit next to Louise.
I was trying to remember any other (non-Thanksgiving) occasions when one of the kids' friends ate with the family and the one I thought of was Tammy in "Sleeping with the Frenemy". Checking a screencap of that, I noticed that Tammy is sitting in the folding chair. No one is giving up their normal chair for Tammy.
So it's not like Bob and Linda force one of the kids to give up their chair for a guest. Gene chose to let Rudy sit in his chair (even though it was Gene's special B- dinner!) Just another cute Gene and Rudy moment in an episode that has a few of them ("love you, bro.")

Bob's Burgers Halloween specials ranked
(Because screw it, why not?)
11. Tina and the Real Ghost--This one's more awkward than funny. I honestly feel bad for Tina for falling in love with an empty box...and grow to hate Tammy for being so petty to steal the box away from her. Even the B-Plot of ghost hunters in the restaurant isn't all that funny. Honestly, the funniest bit is when Bob's unexpectedly swarmed with bugs after a brief moment of cockiness. Other than that, pretty weak episode.
10. The Wolf of Wharf Street--PROBABLY the most irresponsible Linda's been with the kids and Bob believing Teddy's a werewolf was a bit of a stretch. Still, some spooky atmosphere carries this one a bit, so I can't hate it THAT much.
9. Apple Gore-chard! (But Not Gory)--There need to be more episodes with Louise and Jessica. Their friendship is easy and cute in a lot of moments. Anyways, as for the episode, it's pretty standard. Some REAL Halloween stuff doesn't happen until half way through and the jokes aren't all that funny. There's barely any attention on the lesson, making it feel more like a waste of time if anything else. It's just Louise and Jessica's friendship that carries things if anything else (Seriously, MORE of that)
8. Pig Trouble in Little Tina--A great episode about peer pressure and with a fun subplot about Bob's gross ear wax. It's just that none of it screams HALLOWEEN to me. There's some spooky imagery, but a lot of this episode feels like something that could happen in ANY episode, especially Bob's subplot. Great episode, but not so great of a Halloween special.
7. Heartbreak Hotel-oween--This one's cute. That's all I can say.
6. Teen-a Witch--Tina trying to be a witch is more cute than it should be, even if the jokes aren't strong with this one. Thankfully the subplot of Bob obsessing over who's stealing his jack-o-lanterns is funny enough to carry it.
5. The Pumpkinening--Weird title, but it's an episode with Gayle. They're naturally weird, and this one's no exception as Linda and Gayle hunting down who knows that they smashed pumpkins from a contest. Add that with a warm ending and a great subplot of Bob dealing with the stress of being a house with GOOD candy, and you got something fun.
4. Nightmare on Ocean Avenue Street--The kids hunting down a candy kidnapper is fun and Bob and Teddy trying to show up an impressive handyman has some good laughs to it. Solid special.
3. Full Bars--It's always fun seeing the Belcher kids use their brand of chaos to do something good. The only thing that drags it down is the guinea pig murder mystery. Some good jokes are there, but I can't help but cringe as Teddy ruins his own party and the payoff isn't all that funny. That credit scene where Bob danced in the fat suit for Linda was cute as shit, though.
2. Fort Night--The introduction to Millie, and a great one at that as she tortures the kids who are in a situation that's...way more dangerous than you think in hindsight. They really were that close to death, huh? Still, a pretty empathetic episode as we all know there's no worse fate for a kid than missing Halloween and you REALLY want them to get out. And I'm sure some parents can relate to Bob and Linda's plight to make a costume for their kids and the payoff for this one is pretty good.
1. The Hauntening--A genuinely creepy and intense special for this show, where the jokes don't take away from the scares but add to them. This really feels like how these characters would react to a horrifying situation, making you fear for their lives even more. And even the big twist in the end doesn't ruin the episode, but adds to it, showing how much this family cares for each other and how much they'll do to make one of them happy. They might have gone a LITTLE far, but it's in that gray area where you can accept it. Being sweet and spooky is no other combination you can get from any other show except for this one, and I love it.
And that's all. Well, for now. Season 14 hasn't had its Halloween special yet. It's probably pulling a Simpsons and waiting until November for some reason. And I'm not waiting until then. This is the Halloween Special on MY blog, so there. Happy Halloween.

With Bob’s Burgers premiering new episodes for as long as they have there will be times when they try for something new. That being a Regular-Sized Rudy centered episode with the Belcher family being regulated to the background.
It’s been established pretty early in the show that Rudy is a child of divorce. He’s more or less taken the divorce in stride having to live in two different households and having his father dating around.
In this week’s episode we learn that he and his parents have this monthly dinner where despite the divorce they (try) to prove to themselves that they are still a family. But this month Rudy dreads the dinner. In addition to his parents he has to deal with his mother inviting her new boyfriend and his father bringing in his latest lady friend.
We see Rudy outside of the context of a Belcher misadventure and we witness how greatly contrasting it is with his usual adventurous demeanor with his friends and his solemn demeanor with his family. He’s dejected, detached and quiet as the adults in his life dwarfs him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
With the Belchers there’s a sense of camaraderie. Full of love, fun and comfort. In spite of the hardships they endure, the parents are able to form a functional loving marriage with the kids feeling comfortable in their own skin. Every time he’s with the main family, he’s like the unofficial member akin to Teddy. There’s this sense of warmth and comfort he finds with the Belchers he just couldn’t find with his own parents.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In fact the whole b-plot was dedicated to creating a custom made casserole for Gene as a reward for upgrading his science grade from an F to a B- which is unlike most families. Especially Rudy’s. Their interactions feel so lively and homey, unlike the tense ones he has with his father, unable to just talk about things without this underlying emotions of anxiety.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Is it any wonder he invited himself into the Belcher household after a magic trick (which he performs for every monthly dinner) goes wrong? As soon as the Belcher family realizes what’s wrong they made sure to let Rudy’s parents know he’s safe and he’ll be returning very soon.
Tumblr media
Louise invites herself of course. For whatever reason she’s decided to keep Rudy company during dinner so that he’ll feel less alone. Rudy is happy to have someone to talk to and not feel like the odd man out. Louise may be a defiant delinquent with a selfish streak but at her core she’s a good kid and a great friend to Rudy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As it turns out Rudy’s mother pretty much accepts her. I know the fandom has vilified her since she’s been a non-entity throughout the show so we were left with drawing our own uninformed conclusions about her. But overall she’s a nice person and I hope we’ll get to see more of her.
Tumblr media
This season has gone off to a strong start. On par with The Simpsons. Speaking of which it fascinates how this episode’s theme relates to this week’s episode of The Simpsons of dealing with the changing relationships with family. Same with their season premiere episodes which was about dealing with corrupt authority figures. But maybe that’s just me reaching and being a fan of both shows. Overall I look forward to seeing more of what this season has in store for us.

If you have time:
Zekina - timeless
A/n hope you like it!! This took me so long and it was so worth it!!
It was in 6th grade the Zeke fell in love with Tina. He was new, and scared out of his goddamn mind about a new school (again) and just wanted to fit in. Being a hall monitor (as she proudly told him) she gave him a tour around wagstaff, looking after him the whole day, she was very attentive the entire day. She introduced him to Jimmy Junior and both her siblings, and spent the whole day being sweet and kind in a way he didn’t experience before. Other schools never bothered showing him around with any kind of dedication, knowing that he could be moving again any time soon, but even when Zeke tried to insist it was necessary because of this, Tina just brushed him off, telling him how much she enjoyed her hall monitor duties and proceeded to what he still refers to as the best tour ever.
In 8th grade things got increasingly complicated and he squashed his feelings down deep. After her birthday party, he got an excited call from Jimmy Junior about his first ever kiss. With Tina Belcher. He could tell how happy J-Ju was about it, and he was never the type to go after his best mate’s girl, so he tried to forget it. Unfortunately it wasn’t that easy.
The mad pooper incident? He didn’t like to talk about it, but everyone remembers that. Then there was the day of his Grandmother’s surgery. He swears he’s never loved her more than that moment. So much so he practically confessed it, by telling her how determined he is for them to be married. Then the science fair incident. Not his first kiss (to his disappointment) but definitely the best kiss he had had so far in his life. He spent many years thinking about that kiss. Asking himself so many questions. Why had she kissed him? Him of all people? Yes she’d kissed J-Ju as well, but she hadn’t kissed anyone else. Did it mean something?
It wasn’t until a couple years into high school that Tina saw Zeke differently. She had decided she finally has enough of the on and off again relationship with Jimmy Junior and broke up with him for the last time, making that point very clear to him. After that she lost some friends, realising they only hung out with her because of Jimmy Junior. Some of them she was glad to be gone, the likes of Tammy and Jocelyn, but others she missed. And honestly? She missed being friends with Jimmy Junior. It was weird.
But one day her science teacher paired her up with Zeke, and she felt awful. Her mind was riddled with thoughts of regret and humiliation. Knowing he was friends with Jimmy Junior and hating that he was put into this position. But she played nice and invited him to her house to do the work.
They sat down on her bedroom floor with various pieces of paper and stationary surrounding them, an awkward silence filling the air.
“Okay look I’m just gonna say it now so it’s out there otherwise I’m not going to be able to think about anything else. I’m so sorry that you got paired with me, I know I’m the last person you want to work with. I-if we separate the work out to things we have to do then we don’t even really have to work together and I can just put it all together at the last minute and you’ll never have to speak to me again! And then you won’t have to deal with me.” She blurts out in one breath, desperately avoiding eye contact with him.
He’s just confused. “You- what? Why wouldn’t I want to be around you?!” He looks at her in shock, having spent the last few months missing her like hell.
“Because Jimmy Junior’s your best friend. And I broke up with him. And I’m… horrible?” She whispers the last part out, not entirely sure she’s getting her point across.
He sighs and brings a hand to his face, trying to rub the worry out of his features. “T-bird, you’re not horrible. And yeah J-Ju’s my best friend, but he wasn’t good to you. I don’t know why, he doesn’t like to talk about it, but the point is that’s not your fault. You deserve better, I don’t blame you for breaking up with him.” He admits, desperate to show her that he wants to be friends again.
But that just confuses Tina more, “Then why did you stop talking to me?”
“I thought you didn’t want to talk to me! I mean come on girl I let it happen! I watched him treat you like garbage and I didn’t do anything!” He looks away from her. “I couldn’t blame you for not wanting to hang around me anymore.”
Tina blinks. And blinks again. And just for good measure, to make sure she had really processed what he’s just said to her, she blinks once more. “So we both blamed ourselves but wanted to keep hanging out?” She asks slowly, still wrapping her head around the new information herself. He looks up at her and she can’t read his face for a moment. But then he laughs. And it’s the most beautiful, kind, relieved laugh she has ever heard. She starts laughing too, just as relieved.
When they calm down they look at each other just smiling for a small moment before Zeke finally speaks again, “So… friends again? I’ve missed you T-bird. It’s not the same without you.” He says and she blushes, feeling incredibly embarrassed and confused as to why she does, but she nods, and sees as even more relief fills his eyes and watches how his entire body relaxes.
Eventually they manage to start some work, after a long overdue catch up on each other’s lives. It’s one of Tina’s favourite days to think back to.
Much to both of their strain, they don’t do anything about their obvious-to-everyone-but-themselves crushes on each other for another year. Tina’s affections for Zeke grow stronger and stronger every day and she finds herself quickly falling harder than she ever did for any of her other boy obsessions in the past. Certainly more than Jimmy Junior.
And Zeke, well he’s as whipped as day 1. He spends every moment he can with her, helping her with school work, taking her to the movies any time she mentions a film she wants to watch, taking her to the aquarium after school at least once a week, driving her to and from school.
Jimmy Junior can’t even find himself to be upset at the fact that Zeke spent so much time with her than him, not once he’d finally seen them interact in person, and watched how much genuine love and affection was in his best friends eyes when looking at her. And seeing how much more love was in Tina’s eyes than he had ever seen, it stung a little but he couldn’t help but smile and tell Tammy to shut up when she tried to make a comment.
Thanks to this Tina and Jimmy Junior even managed to find a way to feel comfortable around each other again, even feeling like friends for the first time in a long time.
They finally made it official when Zeke got offered a scholarship at one of the best culinary schools in the state. He had made it! He was able to go to his dream school and he finally had a chance to make his dreams come true.
To absolutely no-one’s surprise, the first thing he did when he found it was race to Tina’s house. She opened the door and tackled him into the tightest hug she could, the moment he told her the news. “I’m so proud of you Zeke. You did it!!” She breathed out, squeezing him impossibly tighter.
He pulls back slightly to look her in her eyes, his big grin fading into something softer when he could see how happy she was for him. “T, I-” He begins but she cuts him off, a surge of bravery coursing through her as she presses her lips against his in a searing kiss. She desperately tried to pour every emotion, every word she had tried to say so many times, into this one act of affection. Zeke felt it all and took everything she was giving him with no hesitation. They both felt as though they were drowning. Forgetting everything else in the world around them but each other.
When they finally come up for air they just look at each other, their breaths mixing with each other in an almost suffocating but enticing way. “I love you Zeke.” She whispers, watching his face grow into an even happier grin than when he first arrived, before he whispers back the same thing, softer and more heartfelt than anything she imagined in her dreams.
They kiss again, with even more passion and if Jimmy Junior feels himself tearing up a little from his position in his restaurant, he certainly won’t tell them that.
When they both go off to college they’re sad to not be as close, but they call every day, text basically 24/7 and they visit each other as often as they can. Neither of them have a moment of doubt through it all. They talk about the future a lot, their from their greatest ambitions to the small moments they’re looking forward to.
Tina starts looking at houses and dreaming of sharing it with him every day. Her writing improves tenfold thanks to how head over heels in love she is, and she takes inspiration from her devoted boyfriend to stream it into every piece of work she does.
The next big moment in their lives is when they both graduate. Zeke graduates with an offer to work at an extremely high end restaurant- thanks to many glowing reviews from professors, and Tina graduates with an offer to publish a book of hers, they couldn’t be more happy with their lives. Especially once they find an apartment for them to live in together. They truly make the place their own and they’re favourite parts of the day are waking up in each others arms, and when Zeke comes home from work and they can see each other again.
After a year of living together, Zeke proposes. He prepares Tina’s favourite meal, lights her favourite scented candles, wears a suit, buys her a new dress, and plays her favourite songs. Just them. In their first home. Years after Tina fell in love with him, and even longer after Zeke fell in love with him. He tries to do a whole speech, but he splutters as tears fill his eyes and his voice breaks. Tina cries too. At first she can’t get the words out, nodding furiously, until she’s finally able to squeak out a small, “yes”, and Zeke slides the ring onto her finger.
10 months later they both cry again as they desperately try to get their wedding vows out. There isn’t a single dry in the house then either. Even louise doesn’t bother hiding it.
2 years later, Tina gives birth to 2 beautiful girls. Zeke says she has never looked as beautiful as when she held those girls in her arms for the first time. There are tears in everyone’s eyes then as well.
Zeke is the best girl dad ever. His entire life is devoted to his girls, and he is not afraid for everyone to know it. He makes sure that all of his girls always feel how strongly and ferociously he loves them all, and how much he would sacrifice for them all if it would just make them smile.
At 89 years old Zeke goes to bed, lying next to his adoring wife, and passes away in his sleep. When Tina calls the ambulance, almost hysterically, they tell her that she died with no pain and in peace. She cries more then, than she ever has before. Their children cry when they hear the news, and so do their grandchildren. Their great-grandchildren don’t quite understand but they cry as well.
His funeral is filled with nothing but loving stories from everyone who ever knew him.
6 months later and it’s Tina’s turn. She swears she can feel it coming that day, and wonders if he knew too. Thinking back to that day. She’s convinced he hugged her just that little bit tighter, loved her that little bit louder. And maybe he didn’t but spending her last day thinking about every beautiful moment spent with her love is exactly what she wants to be doing.
Her death is peaceful and painless. There’s even a small smile on her face as she closes her eyes and lets sleep consume her one last time

Take Her Name Out Of Your Mouth
Zeke sighed as he towelled off and began to dress. Wrestling practice had been brutal today. Coach was prepping them for their upcoming tournament on Kingshead Island and had been pushing them hard all week. But today was finally Friday which meant a much needed break and some time with his girl.
As Zeke began putting his dirty practice clothes into his duffel bag, his phone buzzed on his locker shelf with a text from Tina.
"Hey baby, are you still coming by the restaurant tonight after practice? I figured we could hang out after closing since it's Friday :)"
Zeke smiled as he punched out a quick reply, letting her know practice had just ended and he'd be heading over soon.
Just as he hit send, he felt one of his teammates approach him. Unfortunately it was Bradley, who was the biggest asshole Zeke had ever met. He was a bully at best and a borderline predator in how he treated the girls at school.
Zeke couldn't stand how misogynistic he was, with Bradley always talking about his latest conquest in the locker room. Zeke had told him on more than one occasion he needed to mind his manners and respect the girls he was with, but Bradley always shook him off.
Today, Bradley had decided to push Zeke's buttons once again.
"Ooh got your little girlfriend waiting for ya Zeke? Bet she'd love to see you after practice, huh?"
Zeke tried to ignore him. He knew he could easily take Bradley in a fight and didn't need to stir up trouble. But if he couldn't keep Tina's name out of his mouth, Zeke would make sure he'd regret it.
"You know Zeke, I kind of get what you see in her. I mean the quiet shy type are always the kinkiest in my experience. I bet she's a real freak in the sheets for you."
Without a seconds hesitation, Zeke turned and decked Bradley in the jaw. All Zeke saw was red as he threw Bradley against the lockers.
"You'd be wise to take my girls name outta yer fuckin mouth Bradley."
"Oh yeah? Or what?"
And with that, Zeke let loose.
-----------
"Hey Zeke, how was pract-- OH my God what happened to your face??" Linda all but screamed at him when he entered the restaurant.
"Hey Mrs. B. Don't worry I'm alright. Just busted my lip at practice. You know how Coach has been, what with the tournament coming up... He's been having us practice some new moves and one of the guys had me in a hold wrong, and I busted my lip on the way to the mat."
Linda studied him for a moment, and Zeke thought for sure she knew he was lying through his teeth. Zeke hated lying period, especially to the Belchers, but he hatrd the idea of Tina knowing what that jerk had said about her.
Just when he thought Linda was about to call him on his lie, she gave him a small half smile.
"Okay honey... how about you go into the kitchen with Bobby. Have him get you some ice for that lip, okay? I'll let Tina know you're here. She's upstairs helping Louise get ready for a date."
"Thanks Mrs. B"
Zeke knew that while Linda may have decided to believe his flimsy excuse, Bob would see right through him in a second. The moment Zeke entered the kitchen, Bob looked him up and down from the grill.
"So. I take it you got into a fight at practice huh?"
"....yeah."
"I got some ice on the counter for you. I set it out by the first aid kit. Looks like your knuckles could use some bandaging up."
"Thanks, Mr. B."
Zeke quietly washed his hands and began the process of bandaging his bloodied and bruised knuckles. Thankfully they weren't in too bad of shape. When he finished he put the first aid kit away and began to ice his lip, leaning against the prep station and waiting for the questions he knew Bob had for him.
"Do I even want to know what the fight was about, Zeke?"
"Probably not, considering it was about your daughter."
"You got into a fight over Tina at practice?? With who?"
Zeke sighed. "Remember that asshole I was tellin ya about last week? That Bradley kid who can't keep his damn mouth shut or respect any of the girls he runs around on?"
Bob stilled at this. "Yeah."
"Well let's just say he needed a lesson in keeping Tina's name out of his mouth. AndI made sure he learned it quick."
With that, Zeke turned, dropping his ice pack on the counter, and began to prep some tomatoes for tomorrow's special. Bob stood silent beside him for a long time as he grilled and plated burgers through the late dinner rush.
When Tina came downstairs a while later looking for Zeke, he turned to Bob, and quietly asked
"Mr. B...Think we can keep what I told you between us? I don't like lying to Tina but I don't want her to know what that ass said about her. I don't want to upset her over what he said about her."
Bob simply patted him on the shoulder, giving his silent nod of agreement. As Zeke began to walk out of the kitchen to greet his girlfriend, Bob called after him.
"Hey Zeke?"
"Yeah Mr. B?"
"Thanks for looking out for her."

im glad everyone in the belcher family isn't really academically smart (louise definitely COULD BE but she doesn't try or see any real value in it) or particularly knowledgeable but their accomplishments are always celebrated within their family!!! because all of them (except louise which once again isnt really relevant) are terrible at math but that's fine and literally Normal for their family. and when gene gets a B- in science and they make a whole event of it bcuz they're so proud of him!!!! i see a lot of sitcoms where there's one Super Smart genius sibling and then the others kinda get pushed aside or their accomplishments aren't celebrated but bob's burgers celebrates all the achievements in the family no matter how small and theyre always so supportive :)
(it's funny bcuz gene is literally a savant musician but they don't treat him or his sisters any differently bcuz of that. and louise is incredibly intelligent but neither of them are ever made to believe they're BETTER than other people bcuz of that or that their accomplishments are all that they are. which is much healthier imo)
