my favorite part of this chapter is that louise apparently thinks that zeke OWES MONEY TO THE RUSSIAN MAFIA and all she says is that they can get him the money he needs he just needs to tell them whats going on 😭😭💔 like its so fucking sweet in a way. she'd legit do anything for him. she would GET HIM the money she just needs to know

pros: cheaper than a hairdresser, also will be quicker and less effort (good for depression)

cons: it will probably not look good, never cut my own hair before

im always sad when a character is completely disregarded by the canon bcuz its obvious they arent the show creators Favorite guy so they just dont matter at all..... like why create a character if you dont care about them!!! i have nine characters and im so deeply invested in all of them i cant imagine just tossing a character to the side. even a secondary character. why even make them a thing in the first place?? why are they there?

tina and zeke in this chapter are not flirting and not NOT flirting but a secret third thing (making everybody around them uncomfortable)

also my old moomin ocs who r two orphans who keep a lighthouse togerher and share one singular outfit between the two of them. the one wearing thr coat was abandoned as a baby and raised himself basically very talkative and fun, he found the one wearing the hat (who doesn't talk so the other one does all the talking for him kind of like baby ice bear and grizz.....) after he escaped when his parents sent him away to a boarding school #autism and they just decided they were friends now

they spend A LOT of their time painting rocks when they arent doing lighthouse stuff. i wanted them to feel like the protagonists of a 1950s kids book or something

they were named after mushrooms so they were called maitake and portobello...... i think

pink tourmaline lepidolite which are my old steven universe ocs. their full backstory is genuinely wayy too complicated and confusing to explain here but basically they're a forced fusion experiment that fled to earth and they're totally blind and powerless. Just vibing together for all eternity. it was supposed to be a love story but actually its really dark when you think about it DJDMDNSKDKSJ

pink tourmaline was a foot soldier and lepdolite was supposed to be a healer before we learned that pink diamond was the only one with the ability to heal other gems. oops

other steven universe oc (one of MANY many others that i couldnt possibly have enough room for) which is a permafusion of a rose quartz and pearl. dont remember much about them but their design is cute :)

my non-steven universe ocs which are two space-inspired sisters who escape from their abusive parents and go off together on their own adventures. older sister is like 12-13 and younger one is maybe 5. one of them is a trans girl but i genuinely dont remember which one!!!! guess we'll never know. she's stealth now?

younger sister was very shy and didnt talk much, older sister is more protective but very kind. have no idea wtf the plan was but theyre cute and the designs are fun!!

bob's burgers character class analysis or whatever <3

I think it's pretty obvious within the canon that the belchers are probably one of the poorest families on the show being that they're working class and working paycheck-to-paycheck and renting their house from the landlord. this was intentional obviously wanting to showcase a lower-class family on an animated sitcom like how loren bouchard had grown up. they're POOR

one of the only families (in my opinion) who are implied to be poorer than the belchers is zeke. he's meant to be a sorta trailer park trash type of character from the south and he's likely in a similar or worse financial situation to the belchers (but obvs its hard to know because we've never seen his house and we don't know what his dad does for work or why his family moves so often) he has a troubled home life at the very least. his idea of a spring break vacation (in comparison to tammy jocelyn and jimmy jr) was going on a road trip with his grandma which doesn't actually cost that much money but could be good if his dad wanted him out of the house. his dad could also be collecting unemployment

jimmy junior's family is intended to be middle class (and in terms of people who live/work on ocean avenue and rent from the fischoeder's they're one of the wealthiest families. I don't think they're upper class though they're basically just financially stable) with his dad having a pretty successful restaurant and renting/owning (is it ever specified??) a condo nearby. his mom persumably owns a single family home somewhere nearby where his dad also lived prior to their divorce so it's safe to say they're a traditional sitcom Middle Class family. unknown if his mom also works or if his dad just pays child support to her

tammy's family is intended to be a WASP-y type family and while I do think they're finanically stable i don't think they're as well off as tammy seems to think they are?? in my opinion tammy seems to think her family is very rich but more likely they're middle class and because her parents are huge pushovers they spend a lot of money on family vacations and fancy parties because tammy Thinks that they can afford those experiences for example the spring break cruise they were going on. we do know they own a single family home in seymour's bay and that in one episode tammy thought that she was enrolled in wagstaff as a fancy private school (??) and she freaked out when she learned she was actually attending a public school. I don't think she's poor I just think she THINKS she's a lot richer than she is. also the episode where her parents enrolled her in the crappy cheap horse camp for their spring break. probably on the same income level as jimmy jr

I think jocelyn's family is probably a pretty basic middle class family nothing else to really say about that FJDMDJSDJSJ we know they live in a single family home somewhere in the suburbs. lower middle class?

rudy's family actually seems to be fairly well-off in comparison to a lot of the bob's burgers characters. his parents are divorced but both seem to live in expensive single family homes in the surburbs surrounding seymour's bay (his father's house seems to be slightly smaller than his mom's house but he might have bought it after their divorce and wouldnt need as much room to begin with) and have updated appliances etc and rudy's dad owns what seems like a pretty expensive and modern SUV. probably both of his parents work and his dad has a good job and can afford to go on vacations or business trips somewhat regularly. I would say rudy's family is upper middle class

i could make VERY strong arguments for what the bob's burgers characters perceive their objectsonas to be vs what they would actually be (discounting object biology and procreation for this specific post)

bob thinks he would be a rusty spatula. he is a Burger. he doesn't think he deserves to be a burger but he is

linda doesn't get it 100% and thinks she would be a super fun object like a diamond earring or whatever. she is a fruity cocktail

tina would think she is a Horse figurine or something. she's not. that isnt an objectsona. she is a teenage girl diary type object ("books are laaame they're the most common type of object" for GOOD REASON)

gene would think he's a fruit or something. idk i get those vibes from him if he were to make himself an objectsona. he is a keyboard or musical note of course

louise would think she's a super dangerous Sharp knife or whatever

it's so nice when characters have last names. you never truly realize until you're searching for osc fan content but you cant exactly look up "lesbian lightbulb" that isnt gonna bring you anything. "Lesbian tina belcher" however...... like just a full name. wonderful world full of hope & light when your favorite character isnt literally named after an inanimate object
