Romancing Hobart Brown: (Headcanons)

Hobart "Hobie" Brown. Some Punk-Rock anarchist who plays guitar and likes to play as the vigilante of sorts "Spider-Punk". He's soooo cool. How did you even manage to snag him? Well, that's a good question. One I'm not answering.

Responds to "Hobie", "Hobes", "Hobe", "Bee", and "Bee-bee".

Gets home from doing a job or playing with the band and most of the time just wants to chill out, maybe smoke a joint, and cuddle you.

It's a 50:50 chance that he'll fall asleep. Which he can do just about anywhere and you will be trapped until either he wakes up and decides to let go or you wake him up.

On the subject of sleeping, he likes to spread out and will take up the entire bed, including your side. And while you're trying to push him over to his side he'll either A; whine and complain if he's semi-awake, or B; Pretend to be asleep still and refuse to "wake up and move".

Continuing once more with this sleeping theme, he is a light sleeper and will wake up to even the slightest noise or touch so it's kind of difficult to escape his grasp when you shift and wake him up and he tightens his grip on you. How do you deal with this?

Turns out Bee-bee over here is very ticklish and will always move away and/or let go when you tickle him.

Physical affection is his thing. Especially the small things like a hand on the shoulder or instead of holding hands, you two have your index fingers locked together. He likes having you close and knowing you're there with him.

Lets you borrow his clothes, especially to wear out and it drives him nuts to be able to see how adorable you look in his clothes. And if you're small and his shirts or jackets are just the right amount of too big, this man will have the biggest grin on his face.

Let's you play with his hair and even sometimes style it differently, however it's mostly a rare treat for if you were absolutely sad and he wanted to cheer you up. Other times you will have to beg on your hands and knees while saying "pretty please with sugar on top" and giving him puppy dog eyes. And just maybe, he will give in. Maybe.

Expect teasing until you feel like your heart wll explode. He's very playful and likes to see you get all flustered by his words alone. Well, technically, he'll probably have that trademark smirk on his face or even a sly grin which also contributes in it's own way.

Sometimes, he'll hand-make you something out of random parts he "found" as a gift. They aren't always perfect but they mean a lot to you and him.

Funny how we discovered that Hobie was the original Prowler in the comics, which made me wondering : where is he now ? And what does he look like ? I've read the comics btw (really good UGH) and there's so much potential to work with. I'm having fun and I'm not the only one.

Here's the coat I've drew for Hobie, not the one I have in mind for his Prowler costume but just a bit of fun and fashion (Hobie "borrowed" it, of course)

The words behind Hobie are "I'm going to cut you into little pieces" which are lyrics from the song "One Of These Days" by the Pink Floyd and I URGE you to listen to it. Menacing and with a sick bass/guitar on it? Prowler Hobie.

● you guys met at Brooklyn Middle you had just moved there and he was there to show you around you guys quickly clicked you had same interests

●you'd guys draw together eat lunch together and hanged out together and you two had a comfortable amount of classes together!

This random question just popped up in my mind just now while writing a lil short story but,, just wondering if you may have ideas or headcanons for Miguel when celebrating the holidays 🤔..

Okay so there are lots of different holidays in every culture such like days off for celebration and entire weeks of relief, so I’m going to try and keep it as general as possible by just going for some of the most famous (to give a global idea)

If this is a celebratory holiday, like Christmas for instance, he brings so many gifts it’s almost indecent. I feel like, if he were to offer presents and he hesitated on what to offer, he’d buy all the options he though of and offer them, saying “I wasn’t sure which of all these you’d prefer, so I got them all. Keep them.” because giving back the product to the store is not really an option for Miguel. (Let’s be honest, he’d be rich enough to buy some entire brands, but he doesn’t)

When it comes to Halloween – dià de las brujas, dià de todos los santos and dià de los muetros – you can be SURE he has tons of candy prepared. He even asks what the kids’ favourite candies are so that he can give them what they want ! (this man updates every year his catalogue because he makes research on what the kids are liking nowadays in terms of sweets)

He goes out to the parties of these three days, and this is some of the only time of the year where you might miraculously see him dance (print this in your mind, because this is a very rare event)

Bonus : if he has a partner that is sensitive to the sound of fireworks, he’ll cover their ears

During most elongated periods of day off, he’ll certainly feel guilty about wasting his time enjoying peace and calm, and will undoubtedly find opportunities to work.

He is not against travelling – even less if he has his watch with him to allow him to go back to the society or change dimension if need be.

I bet there’s a good possibility that Miguel and the other spiders go into vacation in other dimensions for their paradise-like scenery.

“Never been to this dimension ? You’ll see, the pink water sparkles as bright as stars in the middle of the night”

now random thoughts :

he’s definitely the kind of man who kisses his partner right on new year’s

he’ll sometime pick the beach as a location just to have his partner rub sun screen on his body AND for him to do the same

he asks Lyla to give him the best ideas for spots to hide the chocolate eggs on Easter week – all the spiders once made a chocolate Miguel’s Ass for Easter to have an excuse to eat his ass… so many sacrifices for such a glorious outcome

To resume : the only holidays he celebrates/enjoys is either the ones he can spend with his close ones to give them gifts, or the ones can enjoy both by himself calmly or with his partner.

Hi, I'm the author of Nothing's Gonna Change My World, and I'm taking some Imagine/Headcanon requests!

Thanks for the response to the fic thus far, and also thank you to some of the authors out there that are wanting to write stuff after seeing it! (and if you want to read it and haven’t, start here) I’m trying to develop some ideas for a fluff chapter or two to run between the planned angst chapters so in order to figure out wtf I wanna do, I am taking some reaction/imagine requests for Pavitr x Reader only for a limited time. (sry that’s what my brainrot is stuck on) Some key things to note about me and what I write about:

I’m old, and the fic is about Pav and a reader who are early-mid 20s due to the nature of the plot. As such, I’d prefer to write about an adult Pavitr and reader. Younger people, please keep that in mind if that’s not something you’re comfortable with. (Note: Adult characters =/= guarantee of NSFW content)

Reader is female in the fic, but idc what gender you request for reader here.

I write healthy relationships where conflict is faced as a team. So I’m not up for Yandere, breakups, jealous behavior, cheating etc.

Reader in the fic isn’t physically described, but feel free to request a reader who has some specific characteristics. Just be aware that I’m not BIPOC and I might not be the best person to write about certain topics.

Looking mainly to write fluff, maybe some hurt/comfort (my universe’s Pav wants to be your biggest cheerleader!)

I’m not super familiar with the comics or the rest of the MCU so I’m limited in my ability to branch into other characters or franchises.

I might not take any given request if I don’t feel like I’m the right person to handle it, if it’s something I just can’t get into, or if I don’t have time - I’m old and have an old people job.

"You're getting pretty soft there, Hobes." You flashed a gentle, loving smile as you watched his long arms drape over Mayday.

"Nah, I'm not bruv." He huffed through his nostrils, his face just teetering on the edge of a smile as he looked down at the toddler. There was something about that little girl, 'Spiderling' as most of HQ called her, that literally had his heart melting. Despite how tough his exterior was he didn't think he'd ever be one to deny babysiting Mayday.

"I don't know, babes. I think I can see you melting right there." You teased, hand coming to gently run over the sleeping toddlers head. "Isn't she just the cutest?" You whispered, leaning in to press a small kiss on his cheek.
