Miguel who is learning to heal. Thanks to Miles, he realizes that he isn’t a slave to his past. He can do his own thing.

First was Gabi, learning to grieve his daughter in a way that wasn’t to self destructive. Then it was his addictions. Slowly, he weened himself off rapture. Many sleepless nights were spent with him pacing in his bedroom, tapping his fingers against his leg because of how much he craved the thing.

Finally, it was you. He hated having to wait but if he was gonna win back his ex-wife, he needed to present the best version of himself.

Miguel who finds himself in a similar position to Peter, awkwardly standing infront of your door with a bouquet of roses and a nervous grin. Miguel had practiced his monologue the night before but seeing you again makes him forget everything. Before you can even utter a word, there’s a slurry of apologies and I love yous. The hours of practice were waste of his time as he finishes his tangent. Miguel shoots you a nervous look, as if he’s said too much.

Lucky for you, that’s all you’ve wanted to hear.

He's a weird lil thing when y'all become closer.

Will start being around you more, obviously, and will also give you more attention that he did before you two started dating.

But then he acts like no one else exists besides you. Not really a bad thing, and you love that in a boyfriend, but he sort of over-does it.

He had a group of 'friends, but they ain't my boys', and he used to hang with them in the hallways every day. But then when you came into the equation and you guys started dating, he blocked them.

They'll try to greet him in the hallway in their usual spot and circle, but he's walking you to class as you both pass them. So when they say hi, he completely ignores them. He just continues to talk to you as if they weren't even there.

He does this with almost everyone. Friends he considered acquaintances, people within his own neighborhood, and even some family members sometimes. It's a little embarrassing on his part, but he doesn't care at all.

Studies all of your mannerisms and little tweaks as much as possible. You catch him staring at you when you say certain things under your breath or when you fidget something in your hands. He pays so much attention to you, it's almost flustering. You call him out and he'll keep doing it.

From your food habits to your ideal future, he consumes all possible that pieces into who you are as a person and who you want to be in your future, to plant himself right in between the cracks.

Basically, he's co-dependent on you. He'd say he isn't if you assumed that, though.
