Welcome to the canon aspec swag showdown

Where your favorite canon aspec characters will go head to head in a battle of strength, wits, and most of all, canon aspec swag.

SUBMISSION RULES: 1. Characters can be asexual, aromantic, aroace, demi-, grey-ace, or any other aspec lablel

2. Real people are allowed if they're publicly out as aspec and I feel like including them. Or if it's funny enough.

3. Characters must be canon aspec: confirmed in text using an aspec label OR confirmed by word of god OR expressed disinterest in sex and/or romance in text

Why only canon characters? I wanted to highlight the canon aspec characters that are out there and introduce people to new media with canon asexuality, aromanticism, and more.

4. One submission per character per person. I encourage people to submit multiple characters, and multiple people can submit the same character, but don't spam your favorite character.

5. Don't fight on my posts or in my inbox. If you need to complain about whatever characters people are submitting or that people aren't voting for your blorbo, vagueblog about it like a civilized person.

6. Propaganda is allowed. Encouraged even.

hi! this will be yet another tournament, similar to @nonbiney-swag-competition, @weirdgirlshowdown, @bestsapphicship, @aroalloarena, @gaygirlscompetition, @transfemswagbracket, @autismswagsummit, etc, to determine which character has the most aromantic swag!!

here are a few ground rules:

no real people, only characters

no harry potter

characters can be canon aro, fanon aro, headcanoned aro, or just have the Vibes, it doesn't matter

i'll only include a maximum of 2 characters from any single piece of media in the bracket, so that it doesn't end up overloaded with one show/game/etc

feel free to retake the form to submit multiple characters, but don't nominate the same character multiple times

propaganda is encouraged and can be sent through ask, reblog, or separate post with me tagged in it! propaganda is tagged with #propaganda

current status (updated march 15): rounds 1-4 are complete, and the 7-day final poll has begun!!

WELCOME ONE AND ALL TO THE AROACE SLAY SHOWDOWN

We are going to have all our favorite aroace characters brawl it out for top spot as number one aroace slayer! Nominate ur faves and come what may!

RULES:

Fictional characters ONLY, no real people!

Headcanon, Fanon, Projection, Canonical! Nominate all your faves who u see as Aroace! But reasoning will be a required question bc I would like to know where they all fall so I can attempt to try and actually seed accordingly

Only submit a character set once! Please no cheating, I am going to do my best to include as many as I can

That being said odds are I’ll only include up to 64 characters

Only 2-3 characters at most will be entered in per source! To keep things fair!

Any harassment or vitriol will be met with a a soft block before a permanent one if it continues and repeated vitriol towards an opponent will be liable to disqualification or being forced onto a team with their opponent. (This applies to any genshin characters that get in extra as I am anticipating at least one being added. If I see hate in the notes this rule WILL come into play)

There will be some Automatically getting ins but I am not going to say who because I would like to see if they end up getting any nominations!

Most alloaro character?

Dorothy hates romance and dating, finds it a nuisance and only wants a fwb situation with Laurent. She dates him at his persistence but is shown to not be into him as much as he's into her, although she appreciates his company otherwise.

Denji sole motivation is that he either wants to kiss, touch boobs, or do it with any cute girl who will take him. He's shown to not like going on dates, but he'll do practically anything if it means he can lose his virginity.
