why you should vote moonshine in @alloarocharactershowdown (aka my #CYBINSWEEP agenda)
she is literally SO aro coded
in the feywild arc (expanded upon in the short rest) she mentions how others have a specific "person" (eg beverlin, etc) but she doesn't. it is mentioned how she has ties to her community, the crick, but she doesn't have a romantic relationship with anyone
episode 57 "how do you guys decide to like someone that long" I'M SCREECHING
short rest 99 in particular is. so much
"it was always weird to think of her having a romantic interest, because she's very independent"
even when discussing the dynamic she has with hardwon, it is mentioned how they wouldn't really have a romantic relationship, but instead a "go out on the prowl together and then come home and share One Big Bed at the end of the night" and if that's not the ideal queerplatonic dynamic then what is!!
plus references throughout the campaign of like. wanting to tell a story that isn't a romance. which yes, originally happened because beverly was the one that had a romantic relationship, and wanting to tell another kind of story since that space was already occupied.
but it becomes something more than that. it ends up being integral to the character. moonshine has so much love and compassion to give—to her community, to her friends, even to strangers—but the vibe is never "this type of love is inherently less important than the romantic love shown between other characters"
she literally goes down on jaina bronzebeard for MULTIPLE HOURS. canonically. and is incredibly sex positive throughout the whole campaign!

Why you should vote for Serizawa Katsuya in @alloarocharactershowdown!
This entire scene takes place when Mob asks Reigen for advice on asking a girl out and the entire scene is very aromantic. Reigen at first deflects to Serizawa and tries to get him to answer Mob's question.

Reigen sweats a little, smiles, and asks, "Not even one?" He looks to the side with his eyes closed and continues, "Come on, don't be bashful at your age." Reigen then sweats more, looks forward, and has a strained expression. "No, wait. Are you actually serious?".
Serizawa slightly blushes, smiles, and calmly tells Mob, "I'm honestly envious that you have someone you like." End ID]
Mob asks Reigen how to confess and...
[ID: A manga panel. Mob asks Reigen, "But when it's time to confess, I don't know what I should say... or what I should do. Like, the etiquette for confessing... What does everyone else do in that situation?". Serizawa watches Reigen as he struggles to respond. "Well, that's... It's like..."
Reigen then looks at his flipphone and tells Mob, "Cleanliness, look around the store, no alcohol, listen well, build the mood, smiles are important, make her heart pound, a heavy atmosphere is no good, premise of marriage, invite her to a meal, sincerity".
Serizawa notices the flipphone and thinks, "Ah... He's cheating! Reigen-san doesn't know either?!!" End ID]
that is the least allo response either of them could have given.

after Mob leaves Reigen tells Serizawa this:

Hello and welcome to the Just Some Guy Tournament! do you love a character? are they just some guy? do you want to see them fight to the death against other characters that are also just some guy? then this is the place for you!
Some basic rules for this contest
A character is defined as just some guy if they are an incredibly ordinary person in an extraordinary setting. someone without powers in a fantasy setting, the one human among aliens, that kind of thing. they need to be so mundane that they stand out in their context. bonus points if they're referred to as something significant when they're really just some normal guy
Just Some Guy is a gender neutral title. feel free to send in characters who aren't men. I would be thrilled to see some characters that are just some girl
Fictional characters only! as funny as it would be to put Jerma in this contest, I feel like the category of just some guy only works in a world that's not our own. in the real world, we're all just some guy.

Welcome to the canon aspec swag showdown
Where your favorite canon aspec characters will go head to head in a battle of strength, wits, and most of all, canon aspec swag.
SUBMISSION RULES:
1. Characters can be asexual, aromantic, aroace, demi-, grey-ace, or any other aspec lablel
2. Real people are allowed if they're publicly out as aspec and I feel like including them. Or if it's funny enough.
3. Characters must be canon aspec: confirmed in text using an aspec label OR confirmed by word of god OR expressed disinterest in sex and/or romance in text
Why only canon characters? I wanted to highlight the canon aspec characters that are out there and introduce people to new media with canon asexuality, aromanticism, and more.
4. One submission per character per person. I encourage people to submit multiple characters, and multiple people can submit the same character, but don't spam your favorite character.
5. Don't fight on my posts or in my inbox. If you need to complain about whatever characters people are submitting or that people aren't voting for your blorbo, vagueblog about it like a civilized person.
6. Propaganda is allowed. Encouraged even.

Welcome to the One Eyed Character Competition!
Have you ever thought about your collection of favorite characters and thought to yourself, wow I sure have several who've lost an eye? I certainly did, so now here I am with the tournament for you!
Idk what I'm doing here but hey if you've got questions or things to clarify let me know! I honestly have no idea how many characters I'll get and how soon, but I'll update you all with a nomination closing time once I get a bit of an idea.
