like, you would think as someone who is chronically ill to the point that my meds say "absolutely no alcohol (and one used to say no weed, idk if im still on that one, id have to go check)" that i would not give a shit about drunk scenarios buT I DO LOVE IT IN FICTION SO MUCH. my irl friends also like getting drunk on/off, or high, and my forced sobriety due to meds (and also family history, let's be honest. i do come from a long line of addicts, apparently, best i dont get involved, and i never have been) means i get to play Designated Driver pretty often. so i do recognize some realities/fantasties in the scenario. but also, god, i love the trope because it allows for such forced vulnerabilities, i fucking love whump fics, and a drunk ex fic is really just a whump fic with no bruises
and, ngl, i do think it is more likely we will get a First Kiss pov somewhere down the line if it loses than i think we will get a Hallway pov if it loses
plus, they were like what, 10?? 11??? idk how old they were when Luci/MC got together. but i know these fuckers are fresh out of high school and Luci is getting drunk, which means biTCHES ARE UNDERAGE DRINKING (which is an interesting characterization for Luci that i think reveals a lot about the Rivera parents as well as Luci's connections to wealth/alcohol), so there is that drama of "hide, hide, hide!!" if nothing else
and, again, then there's not only the angst of "ah, my ex-partner and/or -best friend" and the wanting to make up platonically/romantically but there is also the angst of "i knOW YOU'RE GOING TO GET MURDERED SOON AND IM NOT READY TO GO TO YOUR FUNERAL BUT I DONT KNOW HOW TO STOP THIS" kind of "lost time", "call for rain-check until you can't" angle too. plus, i could see Luci being protective or frustrated or terrified, there are so many fun angles no matter the platonic/romantic additional feelings involved. and, because of how this pov works, there isnt going to be a kiss or anything happening. so it's just going to be slow-burn (to friends or lovers, idk your mc) and pining (platonic pining is a thing), i love that for me specifically lmao
but i do, like, get it. i get what you mean. if i thought this ask was mean-spirited, i wouldve deleted it and not answered; but i read this as "lol yeah that is fucked of me huh lmao you right". bc, YEAH, first kiss is romantic, drunk in your shared hallways is NOT lmao rip but i dont care if its romantic or not, i care that its making my guts get all twisted up. and the angst of (1) drunk ex that needs to taken care of (or needs to run away from you, either or) (2) thinks youre going to be murdered/in an accident and die soon and (3) may/may not still be in love with you and (4) knows they dont have enough time to reconcile with you and make-up for lost time... ngl, that is going to impact me more than a first kiss. im ready for the tragedy. fucking love this kinda shit
also i have my own hcs about my mc, Giselle "Gigi" Kraven, and Luci Rivera's first kiss. so. that probably also plays a role in all this bUT HEY!! things i noticed while thoroughly rewatching d2
i found this in my notes from back in july 2022 and stand by it. mostly mevie, including core four, ben, ben & harry, umal exes & a hint of lonnie appreciation
- at the curl up n dye, not only did mal let evie have her moment with dizzy, but as soon as dizzy said it would make her so happy to know that evie is wearing something of hers in auradon, she stopped dead. she immediately looked at evie to check on her, she knew that statement would have an impact on her. as soon as she saw the heartbroken look, she put herself back into the convo . "e, we gotta go." then when dizzy left she took evies arm and guided her to the side. she let evie have a moment to get herself together. "she's gonna be okay." when she caught evie feeling bad again, she tapped her arm and took her arm, leading her away, starting an easy conversation so lighten the mood.
- after mal says "and i am, and will always be, the girl from the isle." her eyes water and when evie looks away she looks up so she doesnt cry. then she finds a distraction by pointing to the sign
- carlos and jay making fun of evie i cant do this . "you know how spontaneous she is bro" it starts off as an excuse but its pretty fucking accurate so jay just goes "right???" and i just know evie has done some stupid fucking shit before and the boys are annoying ass brothers but wbk
- no straight man grinds his way up the king .

- evie jay carlos and lonnie looking behind mal when shes saying the plan bc they know shes in a vulnerable position with her backturned and need to be aware of every movement . lonnie is glaring in a threatening manner and standing in a position that shows she means business . jays eyes are flickering between mal and the pirates, showing he's listening but still watching for any movements. carlos is looking straight into mal's eyes. theyre communicating via body movement. evie is angled closer to mal, she's there to protect if anyone lunges at mal and watching closely for any danger
- as soon as mal turns back, evie's stance soon relaxes. she rests her arms against the sides of the bridge knowing mal no longer needs protection
- evie leaping through the air behind mal doing her little dancy dance while everyone's fighting
- evie was the one who noticed dude. after carlos went "we're dead." she subtly leaned next to him and whispered in his ear, when mal looked back for help, that's when he nodded to dude. evie saved her gf whats new

- mal after pinning uma "you miss me?" oh u wanna kiss so bad .

Bible, who plays our sweetheart and the very very nice guy next door character, Vegas in kinnporsche
Was recently spotted being a tiny bit awkward at this event
He looks pretty happy here, and I don’t have the video of him standing a little on the side, while mile was taking pics, where Bible is most likely trying to figure out his socialisation strategy for the event (as some people sometimes do, and something that is also a common thing for introverts)
People found a few seconds video and caused a whole lot of chaos and said things like
“He’s not ready why did BOC force him to be there”
“Boc should’ve sent build with him (he’s so lost without biu)”
“Omg he’s an introvert save him”
“I feel so bad for him *cries*”
I mostly saw this on twitter and I just need to get this off my fucking chest so I can breath (I sound so dramatic lol but I really have to say this). I can’t do this in twitter bcs drama and chaos, so I thought I’ll put it here, on my cute little blog.

Bible is not a helpless child. Introverts are not helpless or weak. The way some people have been talking about him and this one instance makes it seem like he doesn’t know what he’s doing. He has enough credentials under his belt as a student, as an engineer, as an actor, as an entertainer, and even just as a person, to not be seen as someone who doesn’t know what he’s doing just because everyone saw one clip of him seemingly being a little awkward.
Especially as an introvert myself, we are okay. We have different ways of socialising and yes we look a little awkward sometimes, just like everyone does. Literally everyone gets awkward sometimes, it’s not even exclusive to being an introvert or an extrovert.
But the whole narrative everyone creates of introverts being helpless, awkward (idk I can’t find exact words) is not okay. Introverts are fine.
They know what to do once they learn and grow enough to figure themselves out and how they operate, which I really think Bible has.
No, I don’t speak for bible, and idk him, but I do know how it feels to be a 24 year introvert working and being an adult— just existing and being myself and people making the most inaccurate assumptions because of it.
It honestly feels so reductive of his achievements. He has constantly tried to grow as a person in the entertainment business (from what we can see as fans). We should trust him.
You don’t need to protect the people you stan, constantly, with pitchforks ready to go. They just need support and room to grow.
Also, wtf is with some people saying things like “if biu was there it would be better” . Like Mile was right there, they all get along with each other. The whole team is awesome as coworkers.
Bible and Build are two different people. Let them be. They are lovely together— fun and cute, yes. And None of what I say negates that. But they are two people.
As for BOC, I’m sure they don’t make him do things he won’t be comfortable with.
And I can tell a lot of it is coming from a place of care and worry from fans.
I just hope people remember that they are ok, they’re fine. They are just doing their job.
I’ve been in the fandom culture for so long, I know how quickly these things lead to unhealthy drama both for fans and the artist.
They’re full grown adults, they know what they’re doing. Most of the time. Even if they don’t, they. are. adults. They can make their own decisions.
We can baby them, but let’s only do it ironically. Wouldn’t it be better like that?
They don’t need protection, they need support. That’s all.

I wasn't ready
since btl has finished I wanted to once again tell you that YOU ATE THAT user bbina. btl was actually one of the first smaus I read and stayed invested in and the story was amazing. an ACTUAL emotional rollercoaster with all of the drama that went down not just in the story but the bbinaverse too (wave vs pill)
and omg the bbinaverse

MAYBE BTL WAS THE FRIENDS WE MADE ALONG THE WAY.. not to mention how everyone and i mean EVERYONE helped the plot some way or another.. it was borderline interactive with u guys with how invested everyone was and was sending me their thoughts... crazy how this all happened bc of a fanfic......

Hes a mischevious little bastard and i cant wait until sokka finds out whi tipped the general (Will the literal missing arm amp up the sympathy factor? Will it not? Who knows lol) I love conflict if you couldnt tell 💖💞
And i slso love jet because sure he almost destroyed a village, but compared to well the adults comitting heinous crimes against humanity atleast he gave kids a home for years and tried to do some good (It takes so long for Zuko to change in canon, dont you think Jet deserved a little chance too? He was just a kid)
Anyways you're doing a marvelous job and your writing style is phenomenal. I love the way you write certain things in a way to make them more realistic (Just Hakodas distrust of Zuko, Sokkas inability to coñect with his loved ones now hes back because they cant see and his psyche has adapted to always being aggressive and ready to attack like how cats fluff up so it was almost simpler when everyone was the enemy.
Oh and when he called Katara a bitch, which to her is like a slap to face and a violent departure feom their usual relationship and damn, she must me so confused and hurt, bcs she thought she got her goofy big brother back who was the one pwrson she could rely on and now hes acting all different ;(

ok yes! I found it! In the edmund/cillian ooc lizzy suggested that perhaps it was edmund who orchestrated the battle wherein lord malconaire died!!!! He was lord malconaires aide so he would’ve been privy to ~some info but not all and his line of sight would’ve been limited to just seeing varmont banners-he may have known that royalty was involved if he saw a personal crest? But I doubt he id’d it?

ep12: why doesn't anyone ever gif the manure scene?
I had such a great time watching this episode. it may be one of my favorites. it's funny. there's important relationship beats between the wens and wwx. there's drama. there's foreshadowing. the kids are not having a good time, but it's not so dire as to be painful to watch. lwj being wounded adds a flair to his character. and it has some nice wwx moments
he says this, and I believe he means it. he just can't help himself I fear

maybe one of the first Great Wei Wuxian Moments. god this was so funny. starting with the smirk at lwj like 'look what I'm about to do baby' such a showoff. and then the stretching. sob. I can't believe more people weren't in love with him
I read somewhere that wwx reciting the lan rules was like an injoke to the rest of the kids - they all shared this experience together than wen chao didn't. it's a reminder of a happier time, a reminder that they're all in this together. it makes jc roll his eyes, but jzx fights a smile
see, wwx complained about CR being strict and unfair, and it was, but they weren't at risk of this kind of physical violence or threats against their family. the food was apparently good. the lans were highly respected and the students learned important lessons about cultivation. although it seemed stressful at the time, it was probably the last extended period of time they were all safe and in a stable position. I mean, compared to being at the mercy of wen chao? man's a maniac. in CR they got to go to lantern festivals and weren't locked in their quarters
he's just very funny in this pose. and then they get called for MANURE DUTY and they're all like
THEY'RE ALL SO UPSET. LWJ IS SO MAD. um okay this is so funny. you can see lwj in pain trying to walk, wwx is watching with his heart clearly aching, wuji is going all gently. romantic moment incoming. but the thing is...everyone in this scene is just wandering very slowly in circles. wwx and jc are just standing there. lwj could also just be standing still like wwx is. there is no need to walk anywhere legend <3
jc going 'stop helping people!' kind of makes sense from the paranoid mind of a 16 year old boy, but in a moral, personal, AND political sense it doesn't. wwx sees someone he clearly cares about in need and wants to help them, and it's a sect heir! of course this is a good idea! jc knows that wwx won't walk away from something important to him, and it's just wrong to ignore him anyway when he could be disabled for life
jc seems to grasp at straws to keep wwx from leaving him. he leans on 'he doesn't like you' and 'focus on our family instead' even tho they are literally just standing there and I def think part of it is jealousy. he can tell wwx likes lwj and he's uneasy about wwx being pulled in another direction. also, panicked about their home being invaded and wanting all the support he can get. but wwx stands firm. there is something that needs doing! he will do it! I always liked this about him
oh, wwx removing jc's hand from his arm. the symbolism...
when he said this the first time I lose my mind, I was like "that's what YOU'RE always doing you dork!!!" on my first watch I hadn't known how the general caretaking dynamic would be between them and I still quite like wwx looking out for and protecting lwj. this is something they share, and something wwx mentions about wq too, early on
I just think this is a sweet and genuine smile

I remember I told you I would shoot “A Day in the Life of an Artist”- I guess I’ve fulfilled that to some extent today. We’re very busy.
LYN: When I’m done with my hair I’ll take you to go interview them.
LYN: We got up kind of early today, so I’m a little sleepy right now. We had to get everything ready, and then we’ve just been at it up until now. I’ve got to hand it to them. I usually don’t go for photo-shoots- in three years I’ve only done the one (for the Long Ballad). These two always shoot them, so I’m glad I get to hang out with them today.
ZSX: /off-screen/ What color is it? WHAT?! What is this?
LYN: It’s fine! It looks nice- a little pink in there, too? // Take a look. He went from blonde to a little coffee-colored. It’s not pink. It looks nice.

LYN: You seem to be quite interested in the fight scenes nowadays. Do you (ZSX) have anything to say about them? What are your thoughts?
ZSX: I think that the movements that were designed for us will be a little bit new. I think a lot of people will be worried about the slow motion, but I think this drama does it well.
LYN: Slow motion- I think the thing is that fight scenes will ALWAYS include slow motion. It just depends on if you can use it well or not. Our fight scenes- even though we’re not professional stunt actors- depends on the situation and the bigger picture.
ZSX: I think your stunts are a little more difficult, because a lot of your moves are more close-combat.
LYN: Yeah, you have more range with the long weapons, but the short weapons you need a lot more force.
ZSX: And you are more easily injured. I remember you had to drive two hours from where we were staying to get treatment, for a week.
LYN: Yes.
ZSX: You worked hard.
LYN: Everyone works hard.
ZSX: There’s also the highlight scene- I don’t think I can say it- but we took one whole week to shoot it. We stayed up every night.
LYN: The whole crew of Heroes really put their all into it.

Hey Darling, Kinnporsche anon here!! hope you are doing better!! Glad to hear you're slowly but surely getting better!!
It's already Kinnporsche day when I write you this (OK, it's midnight but still). I cannot wait omg!! Like we are we going now, the big fight is approaching sooner than later, so how are we getting there 👀👀
Yeah for season two 🥰 Apparently, it's Apo himself who say, in a livestream for the bread ad, that season is already in the work (let's be real, they will be stupid if they don't do more season. The show is too popular not to. We need more of Mafia Gay man). He also says that BOC have another projet for Him and Mile (like yes, I need every fanfiction trope with them) (I'm not 100% sure about these info, bc I don't speak Thai. So I trust other people!). But like, it will so cool of Mile and Apo work together some more, I really love their chemistry, they are insanely good together. (I hope BOC still hire the rest of the cast, they are too good to not do other serie (looking at you Bible and Build)).
Like you say, I think Kimchay are not getting a happy ending this season. I don't see they will resolve the conflit, and try ré-built their relationship in two episode, when we have other stuff that is taking place? It's going to be sad bc I want Chay happy 😭 I hope him and Kim can talk though, like about uni or the mafia stuff. They could start from zero, as friend (where Kim apologized and explain why he has to go back to uni). And, Friend to Lover is always a good trope, just saying. I need more Kim and Chay at uni, doing little study session while sneaking little eyes contact. (I dont' understand how Kim can go to uni, while being a superstar, a detective, the son of the big mafia and saving his boyfriend at the same time. I can't even manage going to my course while breaking down 😭)
Kinn and Porsche are too in love to have drama. I will not survive if in the episode we have angst stuff. Like they communicate, and stuff. The way Kinn act when Porsche discover he was with the man in the beginning show us that he mature, and is ready to fight for their relationship. I don't think it will have miscommunication. Maybe Khorn plan is going to backfire Kinn? That the only way I see angst happening between them? But at the same time, Kinn is too in love to let Porsche go easily (I can't blame in). The wait is kiliing me ugh
Vegaspete is my reason to live really. They are higher than my expectations!!! Their scene togerher, in the safe house, is just too good on a lot of level. I do think Vegas open to Pete before his hedgehog passed away, the scene with the book show us that. He only put in his mask back bc he didn't want to be confront with the reality (of him needing love). The hedgehog scene just show us Vegas that Pete was here to stay, that he will not run away (maybe for a reason that they both don't understand), Pete is not going to abandon him, he is not being nice just for being nice. He want to know more about Vegas, want to be here for him. He start to get freaky with Pete after the hedgehog scene bc it simply show Vegas that Pete is here to stay. Bc let's be honest, he could have make a move before that, but Vegas though there were still a chance of Pete leaving, like everyone before.
I feel like the uncle stuff is going to bring so much angst (but he will be the one to bring us answer so I can tolerate it).
I cannot wait really!!! I know the team of Kinnporsche will not disappointed in term of where they are going!!!
