Why is it socially unacceptable to want to live in the woods and travel to the local park to cause people to think you’re a new appalachian cryptid?

"𝖄𝖔𝖚𝖗 𝖒𝖔𝖉𝖊𝖗𝖓 𝖌𝖔𝖉𝖘 𝖒𝖊𝖆𝖓 𝖓𝖔𝖙𝖍𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖎𝖓 𝖙𝖍𝖎𝖘 𝖕𝖆𝖗𝖙 𝖔𝖋 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖜𝖔𝖔𝖉𝖘..."
Does any of this tickle your fancy, family? Southern Gothic, Appalachian Horror, Cottagecore, Cryptids, and Werewolves
Are you an advanced, literate/novella-style writer who often breaks the discord character limit and are tired of searching for like-minded individuals?
Do you enjoy putting your characters through the fires of hell?
Do you like a good mystery?
All of this (and more) can be found in Werewolf, RUN!
Werewolf, RUN!'s concept is unique but simple: there are anonymous werewolf players (yes, you do not know who is writing a werewolf) with the ability to attack the server each full moon. Our schedule coincides with the real-life lunar cycle. These players secretly choose their targets and then the chaos is revealed during a monthly plot drop. A dice-rolling system determines whether or not your character becomes a werewolf too, if bitten. There are additional, advanced roles that can potentially help in the fight against the werewolves or even cure them!
It is set in a small farming town in Virginia named Briar Ridge. The year is 1929. While this is Prohibition, this is not a story for mobsters. No, this story is about the hardworking moonshiners and bootleggers. It's about the home they come back to after they're done in New York or Chicago. And the home that may no longer be standing if they cannot fight back against the werewolves quickly enough.
If any of this caught your eye, please do swing by. We only bite when the moon is full.
