kinda hysterical to me that tobirama made such a big deal out of having invented the shadow clone jutsu, how it was his jutsu, only to find out that he once performed a full dissection on someone's shadow clone instead of them and never once noticed. like i would've un-summoned myself on the spot out of embarrassment but i'm not sure he knew how to undo the edo tensei. which was also his jutsu.

Kishimoto having both Hashirama and Naruto only get married when Madara and Sasuke leave Konoha makes me giggle. We get it, both Hashirama and Naruto were heart broken and settled with women, because they couldn't run from heteronormativity and their one and only left.

The way Mito doesn't show up at all in Hashirama and Madara's backstory. It's not Kishi hate for woman, she just doesn't matter lmaooo. And don't get me started on The Last and the need to make a whole movie to justify naruhina, after Naruto left her on read when she said she loves him.

Naruto has a multitude of characters where their writing is heavily based in queerness and queer experiences. From the devotion two characters have for one another to a point where they would trust each other with their lives, to feeling like the other one is the only person who truly to their core understands them and accepts them for who they are despite their flaws and issues they’ve done in the past.

Naruto as a series is so queer in its writing that the writer - whether intentional or not - made the main two characters always run after each other even if one of them fell into darkness, saying he’d shoulder the pain he’s holding just so he can be near him and you’re saying you think… Obito is gay?? The guy who literally lost his mind over a girl??

Edit: I’m talking about canon btw. Hc if you’d like I’ll always support that, but he’s not canonically gay or bi. His character is rooted in his love for a girl and the only reason he saved kk was to have time alone w Rin because he didn’t want him interfering. He’s in love w Rin and only Rin in canon🙇‍♂️

I don't know if that's a well-known information here, but did you know it's canon Tobirama buried Madara's corpse just to study his sharingan? He was initially trying to destroy his corpse, but changed his mind about the subject

Who knows what kind of tests/experiments he did with Madara's corpse shadow clone (I mean, no way it disappeared, otherwise Tobirama would know Madara was faking his death and informed at least Hashirama)...

Also, he locked Madara's corpse and tied the coffin with ropes and stakes! That's a corpse, man, he should will not just stand up and kills you at night, chill... (and no one would find it, anyway, since Tobirama hid it deep in the mountains)

Adding: It seems like the Uchiha clan didn't seem to care enough about making a proper burial to Madara's corpse, since it's never told and/or showed what Tobirama did was common knowledge within the Uchiha or.. anyone who isn't Black Zetsu

Sometimes you can tell very clearly when a shipper only likes the idea of a ship, but doesn't like one of the actual characters involved in the ship. I see this most with sns/hsmd where people like the idea of the ship, but they very obviously don't like Sasuke or Madara, so they'll basically just make an OC and strip them of all the nuance they have as characters.

And this annoys me so much with sns/hsmd specifically because Sasuke and Madara are some of the best written, most interesting characters this show has to offer, but instead of appreciating that, half of the fandom is busy stripping away every interesting detail about Sasuke and Madara, just so they can fuck their best friend.

I wonder if all the stories Itachi learned about the Uchiha were like this. Stories of abuse of power and fratricidal fights. I wonder where he learned them, if by any chance he was fed this biased tales from the enemies of the Uchiha, who were the ones in charge of the education system of the village, probably the ones that controlled information and the ones with the power to rewrite history in the way they pleased.

I always thought he was intentionally lying when he claimed Madara murdered Izuna to take his eyes, but after remembering the Izanami/Izanagi tale, I am considering the possibility that maybe he actually believed that. Maybe he really thought he came from a dynasty of power thirsty bastards capable of killing their own flesh and blood for dominance. I wonder if he ever got a chance to get the other version of the story from his own clan, the family he felt so isolated from. Or even, if more people in the clan actually believed the same.

I don't buy the 'Sasusakus are a cesspool of homophobic cishets and Sasunaru shippers are a shining light in the fandom who truly understand queerness and media!!!!' allegations because Sasusaku shippers have been nothing but respectful of me headcanoning Sasuke as a trans lesbian because of the combo of her individual character and how her relathionship with Sakura is written and one of my friend's even agreed that Sasuke works really well as a transfem character even though that's not her personal hc and they're always the ones defending Sasuke and the Kunoichi without pitting any of them against eachother and instead uplifting them with an emphasis on their girlhood without being cissexist and also having a nuanced view on the Uchiha clan and Sasunarus think Sasuke hates women so much she can only like men and say none of their pre-Shippuden dynamic counts because Sasuke had more screentime being toxic destructive friends with Naruto and get EXTREMELY up in arms over non-Sasuke guys as Naruto's endgame both on their own posts and even on strangers' and it's like their entire life to spew ironic unironic misogynistic takes and jokes about every female character in existense with their gender as the basis and act like Madara's not a militaristic child groomer who started the Uchiha intergenerational trauma and actively refused to let anybody end the cycle to the point of naming because of how proud he was.Idk i just feel like there's something deeply ironic about Sasusaku being labeled as 'cishet bullshit' while Sasunaru is considered a stepping stone and iconic gay couple despite not ever being canon and calling eachother brothers in-universe and it's worth noting Sasuke expressed she liked Sakura better than Naruto and Naruto never called Gaara,Kiba OR Shikamaru his brother so i think the problem with Sasunaru is just that they don't want the other specifically,not that they're straight LMAO

100% agreed on the whole way naruto shippers clearly do not actually care about or like madara and sasuke. for example fucking sasusaku shippers clearly do not notice or care about how sasuke is miserable fighting for some village that ruined his life and that no one knows the truth about the uchiha massacre they just see him as some strong skinny twink bishie boi who is only nice to their precious self insert sakura they see him as a thing for sakura. don't even get me started on fucking tobirama x madara or the toxic tobirama stans in general, i have seen horrific shit of madara being violently raped by tobirama on ao3 as a punishment of his crime for "being an uchiha who hasn't been humbled". the sad thing is that i have seen crossover romance shipping fanfic that actually respects both madara and sasuke as characters (making sure they ain't OOC or stripped of their nuance/personality) and they have more chemistry with characters from different anime/manga series. both madara and sasuke deserve better from this damn fandom than just being hashirama and naruto's cute little waifus who constantly get kidnapped like Princess Peach and get pregnant with uchiha babies like a fucking Uchiha baby factory.

So real!!! I think one of the reasons why this happens sometimes is because a lot of naruto fans/shippers are very pro konoha, so anything that Madara or Sasuke do is instantly a crime against humanity to them, so in order to make their ship work they have to take their morals and issues away from Madara and Sasuke, so they "aren't evil" anymore.

Also, that last part about t*birama/madara is so true. I mean, aside the fact that Madara would never be able to forgive him for killing Izuna, Tobirama also just had zero respect for him as a person. Tobirama felt no empathy for the Uchiha, and to pretend that he would set that aside for Madara is just insane to me. It's fine as a crack ship or if you write it to be intentionally toxic (which can be fun sometimes), but just taking away all the nuance these two characters have to make them fuck??? why?? Like, with hsmd I atleast understand where people are coming from, childhood friends trope and all, but what is the appeal of tobimada? No one who actually likes Madara would be able to ship tobimada, and no one who actually likes Sasuke would be able to ship sasusaku.

Madara and Sasuke definitely deserved sooo much better, they deserved loving people who actually respected them and their dreams (and no hsrm did not respect mdr's dreams while he was still in the village let's not play pretend).
