AND HERE IT IS!!!!
Thank you for being patient. I hope you'll like it and sorry for the lame ending 😆
An Unusual Day
Being a spy was no easy task, with countless dangerous and exhausting missions, even though he executed them like it was no big deal. But now, Loid was facing the most complicated mission of his career: being a father and raising a child.
The mission was to get to Donovan Desmon and to do so he needed a child to enroll in the same school as Desmond's son, Damian; and a wife. The latter, even though he wasnt aware, was an assassin, that agreed to play along the role of his wife as it would benefit her as well, to show her brother she had a man in her life. And the adopted child, Anya, was a telepath.
The mission wasnt easy, he had to enroll her in the school and there he had to make sure she would become a top class student so she could attend Demond's social events. But Anya didnt like to study and she wasnt exactly smart. And to add to his stress, she punched the one person she had to become friends with, Damian.
Pretending to be a father, a husband, seem like a normal family and perfectly execute his mission was starting to take its toll on him, and besides all that he also had other minor jobs.
Sometimes they would go out to show everyone they were a top class family and to become closer to each other. And today it wasnt different. They had decided to have lunch at a nearby restaurant.
But right at the morning, Loid had a feeling that something wasnt right. He couldnt think as fast as normal and he felt lethargic, but he decided not to pay much attention to it and just left his bedroom.
He went straight to the bathroom and saw his complexion on the mirror, he had barely noticale bags under his eyes but other than that, nothing different, so he thought the girls wouldnt notice.
Upon getting to the living room, he was greeted by Yor, who was already up making coffee.
- oh, Loid-san! Good morning!
- Good morning Yor.
He sounded more tired than he'd expected.
- Do you want some coffee?
- Actually, I'd like some tea, if it's not too much to ask.
- Not at all, it will be just a minute.
Unlike usually, where Loid would just read a newspaper or something he was just spacing out. So he was surprised when Yor got back with his tea.
- Oh. Thank you, Yor.
- Are you alright, Loid-san? You look tired.
The girl was concerned.
- Oh, it's nothing. I just didnt get enough sleep last night.
He said with a painful smile.
- If you'd like we could stay home today. We can order lunch.
- No, there's no need. Besides, Anya would be disappointed. She really likes to go out.
It was a made up family, but they couldnt help but care about each other.
- Good morning...
Anya said with a sleepy voice.
- Good morning Anya.
- Good morning, Anya-san!
They all had breakfast, and since it was a weekend, none of them had any activities. So they just stayed home until it was time for lunch.
As it grew close to the time they would leave, they went to their rooms to get dressed.
Loid put on a fancy yet casual suit and went to the bathroom. He splashed some water on his face, hoping it would help with the uneasy feeling and lethargy, and maybe give him a fresh complexion.
- Is everyone ready?
He said turning to the girls before opening the door. Anya screamed which made him flinch and they noticed that.
- Was Anya being too loud?
The poor little girl said with a sad voice.
- No, I'm sorry Anya. I just didnt get enough sleep last night. Let's go.
Loid couldnt shake off the feeling that something wasnt right. He wasnt as aware of his surroundings as he usually is and now he started to get an annoying headache.
Without knowing he brought his hand to his face and pinched the bridge of his nose, trying to bring some relief for the pain.
- Papa, are you okay?
Anya was looking at him with the most worried eyes he ever seen.
- Loid-san, is everything alright?
- Oh, yes. I'm just hungry so my head is aching a little.
He tried to brush off but they were together for a while to understand when something wasnt right.
They got to the restaurant and ordered their food. Upon seeing that Anya's plate had peanuts he quickly thought of a plan to get her to eat properly.
- Oi Anya. If you eat well, we'll get peanut flavored ice cream later.
- really? Anya will do her best, Papa!
Loid was too out of it so he didnt notice that Yor was looking at him with a beautiful smile.
Loid-san is such a good father. She thought to herself.
But things started to go wrong from there. As Loid was eating his food, his headache was increasing by the second so he decided not to eat everything.
- Loid-san, are you done?
- Hmm. I'm full.
He was lying. He didnt feel full, he felt awful.
The girls werent done eating so he just waited for them. But his head was determined to make him suffer.
The pain increased and he felt cold sweat dripping down his back, he knew he was pale but all he could do was hope they didnt notice.
His thoughts were all over the place, what is happening, did someone poison me, is there someone watching us, are we safe. That was all he could think and with that his pain only increased.
Eventually he lowered his head and rested it between his hands. He didnt know that on top of being pale, he had a painful complexion as well. And he was breathing rather quick.
- Anya, Yor, I'm sorry... I dont feel very well...
He managed to say, head still down. He didnt want to ruin the girls fun but he had to admit he wasnt well. Being inside that place was going to kill him.
Anya just looked at him worriedly.
- Loid-san, why dont we go get some fresh air?
They got up from their seats and for a moment Loid swayed, he was quick to grab a hold of the chair to balance himself and he barely noticed that Yor was also supporting him.
- Thank you...
They went out to the usual park they go to. The fresh air was good, but he felt like he was only getting worse.
His eyes couldnt focus, he could see black spots on his vision, he was sweating again and now to add to his ongoing suffering, his stomach was acting up as well. He tried to brush off the feeling and keep on walking with the girls but suddenly his vision got dark making him grab onto the rail next to him, and unknowingly he also grabbed Yor's hand. As he supported himself on the rail, his legs just gave up.
- I'm sorry...Yor...
He just slided down, hand still on the rail.
- Loid-san!
- Papa!
Both the girls were shocked to see Loid in that state.
Yor crouched down next to him.
His breathing was erratic, his tie felt like it was suffocating him so he loosened it up.
- Loid-san, what are you feeling?
- I dont know.... my head feels like it's gonna split in half- ugh!
He was cut off by a gag. He tried to suppress it, he had to keep appearance, he couldnt get sick in a public space like this.
- Loid-san, you need to let it out.
Yor said with a firm tone of voice. Being the older sister, he had seen this scene a few times.
- Can I touch you? Excuse me.
Since they werent exactly a couple, they were very considerate when they touched each other.
He just nodded, too afraid that if he opened his mouth everything was gonna come out.
Yor started to rub his back up and down trying to give him some comfort.
Eventually the nausea increased and he couldnt hold it in any longer.
- Yor... I'm gonna be sick
With that warning, vomit spilled out of his mouth hitting the ground, he was quick enough to get his tie out of the way before another wave came up.
He was in so much pain he didnt notice that some of his vomit had gotten on Yor's clothes.
Anya, who was just watching, started to cry in silence.
After he was done, his breathing was still erractic and his face was flushed and his vision was blurring faster than before.
- Yor, Anya...I'm sorry... I'm gonna fai-
That was all he managed to say before collapsing on top of her.
- Loid-san!
- Papa is gonna die!!!
Anya was now crying her heart out while her father was collapsed on her mother's lap.
- Anya-san, it's gonna be alright. Dont worry.
She was worried but how could a mother show this to her child.
When she looked at Loid, she noticed he was sweating and felt quite hot.
Why didnt he tell us? Why did he have to endure this on his own? Arent we a family?
Those were the thoughts on Yor's head as she picked him up on her back.
- Loid-san, I know you wouldnt like this, but please bare with me. Let's go, Anya-san.
As they got inside the hall of their apartment, Loid was conscious again.
- Yor... I can walk now...
- At least, lets go up the stairs.
When they were in front of their door, Loid got down from Yor's back and she quickly put his arm over her shoulder and wrapped hers around his waist. He didnt like this, but he couldnt support his body alone.
But being on two feet again made him dizzy again and the nausea came back.
- Yor... I feel sick again...
He said as he brought a hand to his mouth.
- Let's go to the bathroom. Come on.
Yor took him to the bathroom and then turned her attention to Anya.
- Mama, will Papa be okay?
The little child said with a shaking voice.
Yor's heart clenched when she heard that voice.
- Of course, Anya-san. I think it's just exhaustion. He's been working more lately...
- Say, Anya-san. Why dont you and Chimera-san go play in your room? I'll join you later
- okay...
The girl dropped her head and went to her bedroom. Watching the child so sad made Yor almost cry.
But she had to be firm, she was the only one to take care of everyone. This was the time to make up to everything that Loid has done for her until now. This was the time to be a wife and a mother.
Yor went back to the bathroom to find Loid sitting beside the toilet bowl and went straight to him.
- Loid-san, did you get sick again?
The man could barely keep his eyes open.
- No... I dont know what's happening to me...
He was breathing hard and his face was flushed and he had sweat all over his face.
- Loid-san, why dont you take your suit off? I think you'll feel more comfortable.
The man did as he was told and Yor put it in the laundry basket to wash it later.
Suddenly his face went pale and he quickly reached the bowl, he almost had no time to think before another stream of vomit splashed with a sickening sound in the water.
- There you go. You're doing good.
Yor said as she was rubbing his back.
Feeling someone's touch with so much affection made him feel strange. He felt like he could low down his guard, he felt...safe, warm. And he didnt notice that there were tears forming in his eyes.
- Loid-san...are you crying...?
He was caught by surprise, he didnt feel them coming.
- No...no it's nothing...
- Do you think you're done?
- hmm...I feel empty...but it still feels strange.
He wasnt feeling better, but he was more aware of things now and he only then realised that Yor's pants had gotten dirty because of him.
His face got red as a tomato and he wanted to bury his face in the concrete.
- Yor... I'm sorry... I got some on your clothes...I'm really sorry.
- Oh, this? Dont worry about it... I've had wor-
She was going to say that she's gotten worse things on her clothes.
- I've had this happen before with my brother.
She had a caring smile on her face.
- Loid-san, I think you should take a shower. You're sweating too much.
He couldnt lie, he wanted to, he was dying to, but he had no strength left, he just wanted his bed. He wasnt sure it would be safe for him to be alone in the bathroom, he felt too weak.
- Get in the bathtub. I'll help you.
- Wha- No, there is no need to. I'm okay.
He said blushing.
- No. You got sick twice and you look like you can pass out at any minute.
For some reason, he couldnt find the words to reason with her.
- I'll wash your back.
Loid got in the bathtub, still with his boxers on. And Yor positioned herself behind him.
- I'll wash your hair as well.
She had such a tender look in her eyes, Loid was sure he was falling in love with her. Even if he was told numerous time not to, he couldnt help it.
He just let himself feel her touch and relax.
After a few minutes like this, he was actually feeling a bit better to finish his bath.
- Loid-san, can I enter your bedroom? I'll get you a new set of clothes.
- yes, no problem.
After a minute she got back with a t-shirt and a pair of sweatpants.
- I'll leave these here.
He put on the clothes and grabbed a towel to dry his hair, but even though the bath made him feel better, he was still tired and weak. So he just walked out with the towel on his head to find Yor waiting for him outside.
- Oh, Yor. Can- can you help me out?
- Of course.
They went into his bedroom and she proceeded to dry his hair. It felt warm, caring and relaxing, and without noticing, he let himself sink into Yor's touch. The action made the woman blush.
Before he could think, he was asleep. Yor helped him lay down on his bed and covered him. Before leaving she checked his temperature and noticed it was still a little high.
When she got out she found the little girl standing outside, looking tearful.
- Anya-san
- Mama, is Papa okay?
- He's asleep for now...
- Anya wants to help.
She said firmly
- Okay! Why dont you prepare a bucket with water and a wet cloth?
Yor said with a smile while she went to change clothes.
Later, both girls entered Loid's room to find him awake.
- Loid-san! You're awake.
- Papa!
Anya said as she jumped on the bed to hug him.
- Anya thought you're gonna die
- I wont. Dont worry.
For a moment Loid stopped and took in the image in front of him, a child crying worried about him. That scene broke his heart.
- I'm sorry for worrying you, Anya.
He said patting her head and giving her a tender smile.
- how are you feeling, Loid-san?
- A bit better but still tired.
- that's good to hear. We'll leave you to rest then. I'll come back later.
- Papa, get better!
They both left the room to watch Anya's favorite anime to see if the little girl would get tired enough to sleep.
After 40 minutes, Anya was fast asleep.
Yor turned the tv off and carefully picked Anya up and took her to her bedroom. After that she went to check on Loid and he was still asleep, so she judged better to leave him like that.
She decided to stay up reading something or just organizing her weapons in her bedroom. The night went on quietly and eventually she went to the kitchen to make herself some tea.
It was so quiet, she found it scary. But at the same time she had hoped that the night would go on without any other incidents. But that was not going to happen.
Loid's fever kept going up and down all the time and his headache as well, but he mamaged to get some sleep. But that only made things worse. Most certainly it had to do with everything that happened on that day: he got sick, he let his guard down, he made his wife worried and the worst thing, he made Anya cry. The one reason why he became a spy was so no children would have to cry again. And yet, today, Anya cried, because of him, and she cried her heart out, just like him when he was young. He was barely conscious when it happened but he actually took in the scene of Anya crying and now it triggered his memories. His body was already feeling bad as it was, but the nightmare made everything worse.
He started to toss and turn, his head was throbbing, he was panting and sweating and his stomach was doing aggressive turns.
He decided to get out of bed and hopefully make it to the kitchen to get some water but that didnt happen.
When he left his bedroom, he held himself against the wall for support and started to make his way to the kitchen, with each step his vision got darker and the content in his stomach were making their way up to his throat.
When he got to the kitchen he saw Yor and before he could think he was calling her for help.
- Y-Yor... he-
That was all he managed to say before he fell to his knees as vomit came out of his mouth hitting the floor with a sickening sound.
Yor, who was making her tea, turned around surprised.
- Loid-san!
She ran to his side and held him so he wouldnt collapse.
- Yor...I'm sorry- ugh!
He began vomiting again and Yor was quick to put her hand on his back and start to rub it up and down.
- Dont apologize, Loid-san. Just let it all out, you'll feel better after. I'll clean this up later.
Even if he didnt want, her touch and words were comforting, they made him feel safe.
He threw up one more time, but only bile came out.
- Loid-san, I think you're done. You'll hurt your throat. Come on, let's rinse your mouth.
She wrapped her arms around him and guided him to the bathroom, there she sat him on the toilet and grabbed a wet cloth to wipe his mouth and his face, and offered him some water to rinse his mouth.
- I'll got get you some water to drink
She got back in a second and handed him the glass of water
- Thank you, Yor.
His voice was tired and raspy.
- I'm...I'm sorry. For causing so much trouble.
- Oh, no no no! It's no trouble at all. Loid-san, you are the one that works the most in this family. You've got your job, and you're also teaching Anya and on top of that you have to keep lying to everyone...and every so often you have to deal with my problems as well...I'm the one who should be apologizing.
- No. Everything we're doing and going through is because of me. I deeply apologize for that.
- Loid-san....
There was an akward silence that was promptly broken by Loid's wincing
- Loid-san? What's wrong?
- I feel dizzy...
He said leaning forward, head between his hands.
- Do you think you're gonna be sick again?
- No. I dont feel nauseous anymore...
- Okay. Then, let's go the bedroom?
- Hmm
Loid couldnt keep his eyes open, everything in his field of vision was making feel dizzier and dizzier, so he just kept his eyes closed and put all his trust in Yor to take him to his bedroom.
- We're here Loid-san
She said helping him sit on the bed.
- why dont you change your clothes again? I'll clean your back for you.
- There's no need to...
He said blushing
- But you're all drenched in sweat...you'll feel comfortable after.
Something about her voice and tone made it impossible to say a firm "no", so he just let her do it.
She grabbed a slightly cold cloth and began rubbing his back and his nape.
There was only silence, all that could be heard was their breathing. They have never been alone like that, only the two of them, being able to fully recon each other's presence.
The silence was so intense you could hear their heart beat as well.
The atmosphere was slightly broken when Loid grabbed Yor's hand when it was close to his neck. He didnt know why he had done it, it just came so...naturally
- Oh!
- I'm sorry...I just... I'm sorry.
Yor let out a little laugh seeing him so flustered, even though she was flustered herself.
- It's..okay...
They both averted their gaze from each other, completely embarrassed.
- H-here y-your clothes.
Yor extended her trembling hands giving him a new set of clothes.
- Do you think it's okay for you to lay down?
- Yes... my stomach feels settled for now...
She helped him lay down and covered him with a very light fabric sheet. He didnt have a fever anymore and the weather was rather hot, so she thought he would feel more comfortable.
It took him only a few minutes to fall asleep, he was just exhausted. Yor sat down next to him and hesitantly held his hand. He didnt notice, or if he did, he didnt want to startle her by waking up.
She decided to sing, to relax him, make him feel comfortable.
And even though she didnt know, she began to sing a song his mother used to sing to him.
He could hear the lyrics, even though for him it felt like it was a dream.
Yor sang with her eyes closed, and when she opened them she saw a single tear drop falling from Loid's eye. After seeing that, her heart squeezed and started beating fast. And without her noticing, she had stood from the chair and was now close to his face. It took a moment for her to take in the situation before she lowered her face and placed a soft kiss on his forehead.
Her shyness reached its peak after that so she hurriedly left the room and went straight to her bedroom.
And Loid was left there, alone, face red as a tomato, with one single thought on his mind "I know I shouldnt, everyone told me not to. But it's just impossible. I've been a spy my whole life and I have never had such a big crisis in my life: I love her."

⚠️ Hey ⚠️
If you’re planning on going to the new Guardians of the Galaxy, please be aware that a MASSIVE portion of the film, easily half, is a depiction of pretty brutal animal testing, body horror, and animal mutilation. It’s a huge theme of the film, and it’s not pulling punches.
The first two films were fairly kid friendly, but this one is very out of genre of any Marvel film, and I would recommend double checking before bringing young children.

Sketch of younger (but older???) Lilia.

I heard there’s going to be a younger sprite of him and I couldn’t wait to see it.
I don’t think he had that dopey haircut all his life. I read malleus burned his bangs and that’s how it turned out that way. Anyway might make a better version once I’m done with assignments.

New Baby Pt. 3 | Platonic!Yandere!Todoroki Family x Reader
Tumblr media
Every morning you were given your medication by Rei with the supervision of Enji. Then you'd get dressed for the day and head to the living area, where everyone would usually be waiting for you.
And despite the fact that you had grown used to the routine, the Todoroki's could still tell that you were holding onto the belief that your parents would one day come back.
How sad, they all thought.
Little did you know that they had been threatened to hell and back by Enji to ensure that your parents would never attempt to try and gain custody of you again.
They were in far too much debt and had no power against the #2 Pro-Hero of Japan.
Enji and Rei had been hoping you'd be easier to manipulate but you were so stupidly hopeful of the future like any other child and while they loved that about you, it wasn't helpful in their situation.
You were currently watching the Natsuo and Shoto play a card game against each other. When they finished a few rounds, they looked to you with encouraging smiles.
"(Y/N), you want to play?" Natsuo asked, raising his eyebrows.
A shrug left your shoulders, "Not really..."
Enji and Rei sat nearby on a couch. Rei looked at her husband, conflicted on whether she should say something to you. She didn’t want to scare you like she had previously.
Softly, she spoke, “(Y/N), why don’t you try playing one game? If you don’t like it, then we can find something else to do.”
Your lips pursed in distaste but you scooted closer to the brothers and allowed Natsuo to deal you your hand.
You quickly finished a round and gave the cards to Natsuo, unimpressed. “I’m going to my room.” You announced only for Enji to block the doorway.
“You need to stay out here, (Y/N). Tucking yourself away in your room isn’t healthy.”
With pursed lips, you timidly sat back down to watch the boys.
Shoto spoke up, noticing your souring mood, "Do you want to play a different game instead? It doesn't have to be a card game, it can be whatever you want."
You weren't in the mood to play anything but it appeared that you had no other choice and you didn't want to sit around doing nothing.
"Ok... that's fine." You chose a game to play and after a few rounds you spoke again, "When does Fuyumi get home?"
It had grown apparent to everyone in the house that Fuyumi was your favorite person in the house. In the past two weeks that you'd been here, you'd been at her side as much as possible.
If Fuyumi was in the kitchen cooking, you were there to help her. If you were watching TV, you would ask her to come watch with you.
It got to the point that Enji forced her to take extra hours at work so that they could get a chance to bond with you.
Having a relationship with your siblings was important, but not as important as having a relationship with you mommy and daddy.
Enji answered when no one else would, "She'll get here when she gets here."
Frowning, you slumped your shoulders slightly. You knew that meant that she wouldn't be back until dinner which was a few hours from now.
Natsuo stood up, patting your head sympathetically. He was jealous for sure. How had you bonded with Fuyumi so easily?
Hell, Enji had to force you to play with him and his brother.
You moved away from his touch and he bit back the anger that burned inside of him. What could he do to get on your good side?
Before he could ask if you wanted to do anything else, you walked over to Enji and Rei, eyes shifting around nervously.
"What is it, sweetheart?" Rei said, smiling sweetly.
"Um..." You trailed off. Any questions about your parents were off limits, but it'd been two weeks now and you still hadn't heard anything.
“I want to know how my parents are doing?”
The room stilled at the question.
Enji looked to the boys and they both left without another word, only glancing at you with something akin to pity.
“Did I not tell you those questions are forbidden, (Y/N)?”
You shriveled into yourself, “I just want to know if they’re ok.” And when can they come take me from this place.
Enji closed his eyes with a deep sigh, “(Y/N), you’re a smart girl. Isn’t it obvious what’s going on here?” He asked you condescendingly. "I thought you would've understood by now since you'd stopped asking."
You blinked, wondering what he meant by that.
Rei smiled sadly, “Oh, (Y/N), you’re parents don’t want you anymore.” She didn't sound sad despite the look on her face. You didn't miss the misplaced happiness in her tone.
She rose from her seat to give you a hug, “I’m so sorr-!” She jolted back when you shoved her with all your might.
Tears stung your eyes and you eyed the two strangers in front of you darkly, “My parents would never leave me! Don’t say stuff like that!”
Enji huffed, rising to tower over you.
You trembled but held firm, looking him in the eyes. Resolute in your declaration that your parents hadn’t left you.
But Enji had planned for this.
“How about we call them?” He said, pulling out his phone, “So they can tell you themselves.”
You swallowed your anxiety down, “Ok.”
He typed some numbers on his phone and held it to his ear, “ Hello? (Y/N) wishes to speak with you two.”
Enji passed the phone over and you gladly took it, smiling wide when you brought it to your ear.
“Mama? Daddy?” You called, beaming when you heard them respond, “I miss you guys a lot! This family is taking really good care of me…” you trailed off before starting again. “But I really want to come back home… But Mr. Todoroki said you didn’t want me… that’s not true though, right? When are you guys gonna come get m-“
“Look, (Y/N)… you’re too heavy of a burden. We can’t afford the medical bills.” Came your father’s voice.
“Huh?”
“We don’t want you anymore… don’t call us anymore. We’re trying to move on with our lives.” Your mom added.
“Please don’t say that!” You wept, “I miss you-“ You felt your heart tear when the phone call ended.
A thick silence filled the room. Only your quivering breaths emitted through the air.
You could feel yourself breathing but your chest felt too tight, there was no way this was happening.
There was no way your parents could just abandon you like that. How could they?
The day before you were taken to the Todoroki house, you were supposed to go the movies and have popcorn with lots of butter and a big soda.
And now, here you were, under the guardianship of two strangers that want to be your new parents without asking if you were okay with that.
“It’s unfortunate, but I promise everything will be ok, Y/N).” Enji’s voice barely reached your ears, “so long as you see us as your mom and dad.”
But they weren’t. You couldn’t forget that major detail.
The “I know it’s painful, baby,” Rei cooed beside you. Her arms leeched around you, entrapping you in her embrace. “Mama will make it all better.”
No, she wouldn’t.
Rei of all people wouldn’t be able to make this better.
“Breathe, (Y/N), you’ll make yourself pass out.” Enji warned, but you couldn’t.
You didn’t want to breathe.
What was the point?
You were stuck with this weird family that treated you like you were five.
Your parents sold you off because you were a burden.
What was the point?
Just as Enji had said, your knees crumpled beneath you but instead of falling to the ground, you stayed held up in Rei’s arms and she slowly lowered you both to the ground.
A smile bloomed upon her face when your breathing evened out, head rested in her lap with a tear-stained face.
You’d be sad for a little while, but that didn’t matter.
Your new parents would help you out.
You’re the baby after all.
