Hopelessly Devoted To You…
Tumblr media
Yandere Hizashi/Present Mic x Reader
TW: blood, fighting, death, anxiety, smut, p in v, rough sex, pain, slight choking, lying, angst
Guess mine is not the first heart broken
My eyes are not the first to cry
I'm not the first to know
There's just no getting over you
The pain in my legs was proof that the strain on my muscles was ripping them apart. I couldn’t hold myself up for much longer, let alone keep running. How did I not see this coming? Music hummed in the decaying building, his loud humming like the lullaby of my death. The blood in my eyes from the wound on my head made it very hard to see where I was going, but I was able to make out the halls and doors. Grabbing a doorknob, I struggled to force it open as the knob felt like it had been cemented shut. Where were the police? Where was Aizawa? Hawks? Anyone?
My lungs burned like they were filled with acid, every breath causing a severe stabbing pain in my chest. Shoving myself into the door, it finally burst open and I saw my fears coming true.
The red feathers on the ground were a lifeless and dull, no beautiful scarlet shine like I’d seen only a few hours ago. No, they were completely desolate of any shine. This was bad, this was really bad. Tiptoeing into the room, I quietly shut the door behind myself and made my way around the big desk in the center. The sight was unsavory, almost nauseating.
The stuttering breathing of my partner, Hawks, was just loud enough to overshadow the music echoing and my heartbeat. His eyes shot up at me, shakey and panicked as he gasped once again. I moved like lightning, pulling fabric from my hero costume to compress his wounds. He did this? Loud, quick footsteps made my hands freeze for a split second before I recognized the weight of those steps, continuing to push down on his wounds.
“Move, I’ll cauterize his wounds a bit with my fire, just go find him.” Dabi nudged me out of the way slightly as I sucked in air from his presence. “Just remember, once this is over, we’re still enemies.”
“Agreed.” My eyes glared at him as I tugged my visual blockers down over my eyes and dashed out of the room. The faint steps I heard were coming from above.
You know I'm just a fool who's willing
To sit around and wait for you
But, baby, can't you see
There's nothing else for me to do?
I'm hopelessly devoted to you
“Lime green and unseen. She is pristine!” His voice was quieter than usual, casting a spell of fear over my body.
This wasn’t the Hizashi we all knew and loved. This was a monster, a man possessed.
“Come out and play, little listener!” He called, the windows breaking from his quirk. I couldn’t help but cover my ears and duck down, then dashing to the nearest staircase. He wanted to find me, and so I’d play into his hand.
Finally getting to the top of the stairs, I saw him leaning against a doorframe, swirling a finger around something, bulky and strangely shaped. Stepping closer, I saw the light shine on him. His hair down and wild, sunglasses tucked into his hair, sleeves ripped off his arms and voice modulator covering his neck. He was unhinged.
But what caught my eye was the yellow goggles he was toying with. Covered in blood.
My sensei was in trouble.
But now there's nowhere to hide
Since you pushed my love aside
I'm out of my head
“Where is he?!” I screamed at him and his lips just smirked into an unsettling expression.
“Whatdya mean? Ya didn’t see ‘m when ya walked in?” His eyes looked at me through his lashes and a shiver went down my spine. I glanced from side to side but nothing. That’s when I saw it. A single drop of liquid fell from the ceiling. Looking up, I saw Aizawa tied in his own scarf with his eye blindfolded, bleeding from his arm and head.
“Let him down!”
“Now now, little listener. You aren’t in any position to be ordering me around. We both know your strengths and weaknesses, and none of this would have happened if it weren’t for you.” His words rang in my ears as I thought back to the weeks leading up to this.
Hopelessly devoted to you
I’d gotten close with Hizashi, my old teacher and friend. I’d confided in him, trusted him, and he would comfort me when I needed it. Days turned to weeks and soon, we had become more than just friends. I knew about his feelings, I knew I had some too, but I wanted to be a hero and focus on my dreams. Comforting turned to something else one night and we went to a place we couldn’t go back from. It was wonderful, he was wonderful. Everything I’d ever wanted.
Hopelessly devoted to you
At least the good side of him was, but jealous was something I’d never seen from him and when I worked with Hawks, he seemed to get unexplainably irritable and angry. He would ignore me for hours after I’d get off of work, not answer my texts, and then show up at random hours of the day to visit me at work. Patrol was even worse, he was always “running into” us. I knew Hawks was in a serious relationship, but he couldn’t talk about it because of our job. We were hero’s, and his partner was not, so anyone knowing about his relationship could put their life in jeopardy.
Hizashi didn’t believe me, didn’t care what I said. So naturally, I broke things off. It hurt, it hurt so badly, as I was in love with him, but if he couldn’t trust me and communicate with me, what was I to do?
And now here I was, standing across from my ex lover, the man I thought I’d marry for a time of my life, about to fight him to the death.
Hopelessly devoted to you
“Hizashi, this isn’t you. This isn’t who I’m in love with, just give in and we can go home!” My eyes filled with tears and my hand reached out, hoping he’d take the short amount of steps in between us and hold it.
His eyes flashed to uncertainty for a second before hardening again and locking me out.
“You’re lying to me. You were always lying to me!” He screams and the power of his voice has me clamping my hands over my ears, blood dripping out a bit. I take a step forward, hand still reached out.
“I never lied. You’ve always been the only one for me. How could I love anyone else when I had you?” My voice is weak, stuttering as I feel my bottom lip quiver. The sadness I feel is uncontrollable and I’m doing everything I can to not fall into a crumbled mess on the ground. “Come back to me, Zashi… please.” I beg, and he steps to me.
“I’ll fix this if you promise to be mine. Right here, right now.”
“I’m already yours until the end of time.” I answer but he sneers, aggravated.
“That’s not what I mean.” He pulls off a glove and what he wants finally clicks.
“We- Shota is on the ceiling-“
“He can’t see anything, and he probably can’t hear.” The comfortable way he says this makes my skin crawl, but I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t been craving him this whole time. “You want me to surrender? Prove I’m your man.”
My head is saying, "Fool, forget him."
My heart is saying, "Don't let go.
I gulp, the dryness in my throat making me sputter a cough and he reaches out to me from concern, his true self breaking through. “Okay…” I agree, “yes.” And his hands are on me, pulling at the costume, or what’s left of it. The torn pieces of my outfit were ripping wider, the seam of my green pants tearing all the way up to my stomach. His calloused hands trace my thighs and without hesitation, two of his fingers rub against my clit. It’s rough and hurried, but god it feels amazing. His mouth finds the spot behind my ear instantly and I reach out. The groan he lets out against my skin as I palm him through his jeans is intoxicating.
“Zashi… please!” I whimper, and he nods, biting me and inserting a finger in me at the same time. My world spins for a moment as the two sensations collide and I grind against his hand, his thumb taking the place of those two fingers on my sensitive button.
I make quick work of his buckle and try to tug down his pants, getting them to his thighs as his hard erection slaps up against his abdomen. Even in the darkness, I can see his jacobs latter and my insides are preening at the memory, of how I remember it feels.
His lips attack when he catches me staring and I use my own slick to coat my hand and pump him slowly, but he rips my hand away and picks me up by the waist. It all happens so fast, I can’t even see anything until my back hits a cold wall and his head is at my entrance, spreading me open and about to enter me raw. We’ve never done that, and I’m so anxious about it, but I need it just as bad as he does.
“Ready, baby?” He asks and I nod, gazing into those green eyes I know I never want to be without. He pushes in and we both let out a pleading sound, the piercings shuffling around my insides and making me arch my back in pleasure. After the first push, it’s a relentless fucking and I can just hold on as he takes me against the wall. As he’s facing the wall, I peer one eye open just in time to see a specific shadow drop from the ceiling silently and take off his blindfold. My cheeks heat up and I shake my head, hoping he gets the message and he does. He runs out, but Hizashi can’t hear him over his own grunts and my whines.
His hand grabs my throat and I orgasm immediately, feeling him near his end from the clench of my walls around him. A few more destructive thrusts and I feel him fill me, but warmth flowing into me as I twitch from the pure endorphins this is causing.
Our bodies slump together as he pulls himself out and watches our mixed juices drip down my thighs. I moan a bit from the feeling and pant from exhaustion, right before looking up at him and beginning to cry.
Hold on till the end.
And that's what I intend to do
I'm hopelessly devoted to you
“Baby, why are you-” He cups my cheek as I cut him off.
“Forgive me… Hizashi, forgive me and know that I will never love anyone more than I love you…” I keep my head nuzzled into his open hand as I bawl my eyes out, then feeling his hand ripped away from me and seeing him get handcuffed and pinned to the ground through my tears.
“You lied to me!” He yells at me, but Eraserhead had understood my silent plea from before and was able to get the police and backup, also erasing Hizashi’s quirk so he couldn’t yell anymore.
“I’m sorry!” I cry out as Aizawa grabs a blanket and covers my half naked body, costume ripped and torn from both the battle and my ability to give him a false sense of safety. “You would have killed…”
But now there's nowhere to hide
Since you pushed my love aside
I'm out of my head
“It was all because I love you!” He yells again and I turn my face away, still shaking from sobs. Aizawa pulls me into his chest for a hug and shields me from Hizashi’s constant screams and verbal attacks. My heart shatters in my ears and I’m left with the feeling of pure emptiness, much like the whole week of us being apart has felt like. Now, Hizashi will be sent to prison and I will be alone again. “All for you!”
But he won’t be able to harm anyone else.
Hopelessly devoted to you
About a week later, I’m still recovering and visiting Hawks in the hospital, as well as Bubble girl and Fatgum. We all went into that battle and only a few came out able to function, the rest were under 24/7 hospital care. Like Hawks.
“Kid, relax.” He said to me, “none of this was your fault. You didn’t know he was a yandere.”
“He… he isn’t.” I blurt out and I hear a cough from behind me, turning to see Aizawa.
“Actually, a few psychiatrists sent in the reports yesterday. He has been classified as a yandere, and they are keeping him under surveillance because of his uncontrollable emotions.” The black haired man spoke and my chest was once again empty.
“But you’re safe now, he’s locked up, and you have nothing to fear.”
Hopelessly devoted to you
That was almost ten years ago. I have a family, children, a loving husband, and I haven’t looked back. But sometimes, I feel like someone’s watching me, or calling my name. A few times, I feel someone grab my wrist or whisper in my ear in public, but when I turn, no one is there.
I knew I was just imagining things, as I turned out the lights in my kitchen and slid into bed. My husband barely moved as the bed shiftly, getting into my side and feeling him.
“Baby you’re so cold…” I mumbled and kiss the back of his neck.
He doesn’t answer.
But the voice coming from my doorway does.
Hopelessly devoted to you
“Hello again, Little Listener.”

shinsou dating present mic's daughter
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: hitoshi shinsou x fem!reader
tags: fluff, a bit suggestive, mentions of marriage/proposing, threats, being caught kissing, friends to lovers
Tumblr media
you were introduced to shinsou by present mic and aizawa, who had been training with the boy, after he voiced his desire to join the hero course
aizawa had been training with shinsou until now, but he wanted the kid to have someone from the hero course to train with, so you were introduced to him
shinsou was happy to have a partner his own age and someone who was closer to his own skill level to train with and he really wanted to learn all he could from you, especially about the hero course!
the two of you began to bond over your dreams to become heroes and you often talked about the hero course, fantasizing about how fun it would be like, if shinsou was in your class!
the two of you became friends fast and the romantic feelings followed soon after
aizawa and present mic were both happy that the two of you were such good friends, both unaware of your feelings for each other
eventually, shinsou and you began to go out on secret dates with each other, all under the disguise of being just friends
only when present mic walked in on you and shinsou kissing in your room did your little lie get revealed
shinsou was kicked out of the house immediately after your dad walked in on the two of you and you had to listen to an hour long lecture about staying safe around boys – in more than just one way…
while present mic was a bit upset about finding you make out with a boy in your room, he didn't hold a grudge against shinsou
he still trusted the kid and he believed that he'd make a good boyfriend for you!
though the next time he meets shinsou, he can't help but give him the "treat her right or they'll never find your body, kid!" speech
he's mostly joking though, but shinsou really does take him seriously–
present mic is very supportive of your relationship with shinsou and accepts him into the family right away
he'll even tell shinsou to call him "dad" or "his old man" and while shinsou does turn that offer down, he occasionally finds himself pressured into calling him that…
present mic treats shinsou like he's part of the family and he's the first one to suggest that shinsou asks for your hand in marriage after graduation, telling him to hurry up and put a ring on you, before another boy steals you away from him…

Platonic Aizawa and Present mic where reader was doing a patrol with a few friends of class 1A and Hitoshi and something happens and reader gets trapped with this hero that panicked saving their self and left reader for dead.
Did I make this while in a depressive episode yes, so if its more like comedy then angst hehe-
Kofi
Warnings: implied murder, class 1-a tells erasermic what happened much to the heroes dismay, Reader wakes up kidnapped, class 1-a is also a yandere.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It was Reader’s first mission together with Hitoshi and Uraraka. They were incredibly excited, especially since they were with their favorite hero: NYX. “We will be doing a rescue mission, if you sense any danger get out of there.” Nyx told them. “Take care of each other. [Hero name], you are with me.”
“Understood!” Reader agreed happily. “Stay safe.” Hitoshi whispered in his sibling’s ear as they separated. “I will.”
Well, Reader tried. During the rescue mission they were caught by villains, and NYX left Reader and the victim as the main villain made the building collapse. Reader used their body to protect the victim causing Reader to pass out.
“[Hero name]? "Please be okay!” the victim shouted. The victim kept shouting for help and help.
“Where is Reader?” Hitoshi asked NYX when he saw them come out alone. “They were supposed to be behind me.” NYX lied, turning around in fake concern. “Where are they?” Uraraka asked, feeling nervous.
“Uraraka, call Eraserhead. I will deal with NYX.”
When Erasermic had arrived at the scene, multiple heroes were trying to get into the building and get Reader. Uraraka made the ruins float and when Tokoyami arrived together with Hawks he used Dark Shadow to lift up wrecks. “Bird!” The victim shouted. “[Hero Name] is injured! Please help! Please!”
“Go to Reader, Hitoshi. We will take care of NYX.” Present mic told his adoptive son. “Fuck them up.” Hitoshi told his dads. Eraserhead just nodded and pushed them away.
“We are going to talk.” Eraserhead told NYX and Present mic started to drag them towards an alleyway.
“Fucking hell.” Hitoshi gasped out when he saw his siblings' injuries. “I am so sorry.” The victim apologized. “You have nothing to say sorry for.” Hitoshi promised her. “Hitoshi, go with Reader into ambulance. We will give Eraserhead and Present Mic the location.”
Hitoshi nodded at Uraraka.
When Reader woke up they were in a  hospital-like room. But when they looked out of the window they saw that they weren’t. It looked like Aizawa’s home scenery.
“Shouldn’t I be in the dorms?” Reader mumbled out loud. “Reader!” Hizashi shouted happily and hugged them. “You woke up.”
Hizashi started crying as Aizawa, Hitoshi and Uraraka rushed in. Luckily there was a lot of room. “What the fuck is going on?” Reader mumbled out. “Papa, why am I here instead of a hospital? Is Miss Butterfly okay?”
“Miss butterfly is okay.” Hitoshi told Reader. Class 1-a nodded and Uraraka said: “She is alright, she gave me this letter to give to you.”
Uraraka showed Reader the letter and then put it down on the desk. “she was really sad when we told her you wouldn’t become a hero.” Hitoshi chuckled as Aizawa petted your hair. “Wait, why wouldn’t I become a hero?”
“Don’t worry Reader! Class 1-a will visit a lot!” Uraraka said in a comforting tone. “Now hold on, who said I won’t be a hero?”
“We did.” Aizawa said. Reader looked at Hizashi. “Mainly me actually.” Hizashi casually said. “Shota thought you would still be able to be a support hero, but you are way too precious for that!”
“What the fuck.”

Tumblr media
Bright eyes wander over the ground below from a distance, stare unwavering and expression cold. The floor dances with the fall of each raindrop, concrete becoming an expanse of colour as the light from nearby streetlamps reflect off the water.
The world looks so untouched from here, stories above ground at the height of UA's rooftop. Noone's around in this kind of flooding rainfall, and kids and parents alike take cover from the raging storm from above. It's a magical sight.
The only drop of colour radiates from the dancing reflections of the floor, like a TV gone static. The sky is clouded and there's no sight of sunlight, casting a gloomy blanket over the skyscrapers that try so desperately to touch it.
It's at this point where you lose a sense of yourself, drenched in rain down to the bone, hair flattened and clinging to your forehead. It feels so good to feel so raw like this, each raindrop stinging your skin as it hits you, grounding you in a way that nothing else ever could. Grief weighs on your chest like an asthma attack, restricting your breath through the lump in your throat. You're can't even distinguis between the rain and the tears that you assume are still falling.
It wasn't raining when you had first sat down here, and although the sky was clouding and the atmosphere was heavy from an oncoming storm, you didn't really mind either way. You would guess it's the perk of having a water reliant quirk. Sitting in the rain brings you relief that eases something deep inside, and you find yourself drawn to it like a month to flame.
You needed something to use as a crutch, and the rain was a good enough substitute for you. It would make a good enough substitute for the embrace you'll never get from your parents again. The thought has another strained sob wrenching itself from your chest. The corners of your mouth pull into a half-frown, like you're trying to avoid fully breaking down. Or like you're afraid of what might happen if you did. Your front teeth worry at your bitten up bottom lip, trying to keep any other involuntary cries stuck in your throat so they can die there.
You'd gone past the apathy of denial a few days ago, but at this point, you can deny no longer the fact that they're gone.
Now, you have nothing.
Your thoughts are interrupted by the sound of the hinges of the rooftop door creaking loudly, no doubt rusting from the heavy rain over the years. You don't even turn your head.
"__...?"
Aizawa sees no movement from you. It's not like he was expecting you to be bouncing off the walls, anyway.
"Come on, it's time to go."
His tone is grave, heavy with the weight of your parents on his mind. President mic stands a few feet behind him, eyes filled with remorse at the sight of you like this. You're almost catatonic, stricken with heartbreak. Noone's ever seen you so lifeless before. Not even the most intense depressive episodes have left you like this.
Aizawa leaves the shelter of the doorway without an ounce of hesitation, the black of his clothes saturating with the onslaught of heavy rain, which soaks into the shoulders at first, and then hits him from the from with a change in the wind.
From the corner of your vision, you see a hand reaching out to you, willing to pull you from the depths of despair and into a state of recovery. Your chewed up bottom lip wobbles for a second as you take the hand blindly, and suddenly you're enveloped in your sensei's warm embrace. It's so sudden, and it's just the comfort you needed to let go of your inhibitions, warm tears bonding with the streaks of cold rain that travel down the planes of your face.
"I didn't- I didn't think it would end like this! Is it all my fault?! 'Cause whatever I've done- I- I promise-... It wasn't supposed to end like this!"
Aizawa is no stranger to comforting those going through the loss of a loved one, though he never thought he would have to deliver such a harsh truth to his own student. It reopens a few old wounds, but it's not something he's worried about right now when you're in this state.
"I promise, there was nothing you could've done. You were put here to avoid you possibly suffering the same fate as your parents. They wanted you safe."
As much as you wish it wasn't true, you know it is. There's nothing you can do now. Was everything supposed to feel so hopeless and empty when you're training to be one of the strongest heroes there is? Shouldn't it be the opposite?
You can't stop yourself from crying into Aizawa's chest while he guides you back inside, careful not to have you slipping over. Neither teacher say anything as you descend the school stairwell after hours, and you're left with a comforting silence that's much less desolate than before.

"If we're just going to do what we always do, why would we call it something different?" Shota said, his voice indifferent and monotone as he answered Hizashi's confession.
It hurt more than he thought it would. Rejection. Hizashi had expected it, despite Nemuri's insistence that Shota liked him back. Yeah, he wanted him as a friend, nothing more. His blank face and ease of dodging his confession proved that. Still, it hurt. It felt like something was squeezing his heart so tightly that it would pop, and his lungs ached, and his eyes burned.
He wouldn't cry.
No. Hizashi quickly forced a smile. It was easy; he forced them all the time, and as far as he knew, his friends could never tell the difference. Or they didn't say anything about it.
He wasn't sure which option would hurt more. So he didn't think about it too often.
"Yeah," Hizashi said, waving his hand before rubbing the back of his neck. "You're right. Ha. Silly me." He pointed behind him. "I forgot something. I'm going to go… Get it. Uh, see you later!" He waved at Shota before turning around and walking away. He walked a little slower, hoping maybe that Shota would call for him to wait.
He didn't.

Spoilers for season 5
TW: character death(ish)
Spartan kicks your door: WHO WANTS TO BE SAD?
So between Hizashi and Aizawa both work like five jobs: Hizashi has his radio station, being a pro hero, and teaching; Aizawa has being a pro hero and teaching
Now if they had just started as teachers it would make sense that they have extra jobs because teaching doesn’t pay shit (support teachers and push for better wages, seriously. It’s bullshit how little educators get)
However, both started out as heroes, and I have to at least hope that hero work pays well enough for you to make a liveable wage. So why the extra jobs?
Sure the radio show could just be a little passion project, and teaching could just be to fill up empty time, but I want to add something more depressing to the mix
What if the reason they work extra jobs is because they made a pact between the two of them to provide for Oboro’s family after he died?
They were so close during their hero training, and I know Aizawa especially would feel so much guilt over what happened
They would’ve done everything in their power to make sure the Shirakumo family didn’t have to worry about a thing

The Aizawas
(Part of the Aizawa-Yamada Family series)
When a villain attack occurs during a family outing in town, Present Mic and Eraserhead jump into action to save lives, leaving Hitoshi to stay back and stay safe. He gets lost in the rushing crowd, however, and ends up bumping into a couple who look eerily like Shouta...
Shouta is extremely resistant to the idea of his parents entering his adopted son's life. They were absent, neglectful parents who left Shouta to fend for himself growing up so they wouldn't have to be parents. He has sworn since the day he began fostering (and later adopted) Hitoshi that he would do everything that his own parents did not, being present in his son's life and letting him know he is loved, so when his parents announce that they want to built a relationship with not only his son, but him as well, Shouta is against the idea. But Hitoshi sees the conflict in his Dad's eyes, knowing that despite outwardly being stoic and indifferent to the situation, he's hurting inside, and sets about trying to make things right in this tense situation.

BNHA Boys and Pro Heros as Types of Light Pt. 2
A lot of people seemed to enjoy the first round of this series that I did so I have decided to do another one! This second round was inspired by an anon who specifically asked for Iida...but I also included a few pro heros to round it out.
As always my inbox and ask box are open for requests of any type really--if you have any questions or just want to chat feel free to hit me up!
We will start under the cut with Iida <3
So when I think of Iida I think of Lamp light:
Tumblr media
Iida is like late night reading in the comfort of a large, worn, leather chair. He makes you feel warm to your toes when you're in his presence as if you could fall asleep, but knowing he is near you makes you want to be motivated to do better; to be better for him. He feels expensive and classy, but he feels timeless. To quote Taylor Swift, Iida truly never goes out of style--.
Now Present Mic is Neon Lights:
Tumblr media
He is loud and in your face. He is charged and full of energy at all times that sends a zing down your spine. I know this man smells like citrus and mint--am I projecting? Probably. Anyway, he is excitement. He is what it feels like to stay up past your bedtime; he is the head rush you never want to end.
Fatgum is Carnival Lights:
Tumblr media
Fatgum feels like having cotton candy. He is sweet to the senses--all of them. The blonde hair, the blue eyes, the round rosy cheeks...He brings a smile to your face that cannot be stopped no matter how hard you try. He brings a sense of nostalgia to your soul when you're near him that feels like you're at a festival in your hometown and he has just won you a teddy bear...your heart might just explode.
Shouta Aizawa is the glow of a television:
Tumblr media
Late at night, long after the movie is forgotten but the tv glows...that is what shouta feels like. It's quiet, it fills the room just enough to show the shadows of your lover's face to see the planes of his peaceful face as you hold him. It shows the way he runs his fingers along your arm slowly...the glow of that tv has seen so many secrets; much like Shouta. He is trustworthy, steady, quiet.
Hawks is the faraway lights of the city:
Tumblr media
Hawks feels like when you drive just far enough out of the city to get away, but not far enough to know its not there. He feels like he isn't fully yours, but you will enjoy him while you have him. You will lean into him and kiss him while the blurred lights of the city shines behind you before he flies off to the other people you share him with. You'll remember what these lights look like forever and always hope that they will just be beautiful one day and not remind you that you share your hero with the world.

Hi, there! 🥰
I'm really, really, really excited to announce you that I'm currently working with my beloved and talented friend @merrymonkey on an illustrated fanfic of Aizawa, starting from his U.A. days and moving into the present when he's the homeroom teacher of class 1A.
This is gonna be kind of long, we hope you enjoy the ride. 💖
Our Hero Academy
Chapter 1
Tumblr media
Pairing: Shota Aizawa x female OC
Genre: Shota Aizawa X female OC fluff, angst, high school romance, friends to lovers
Words: 2k
Summary: 15 years ago, Eraser Head was starting his hero studies with his best friends Hizashi and Oboro. Contrary to what people think, his teenage years in the U.A. were bright and lovely, filled with the laughter of his best friends and his girlfriend's unconditional love. What happened over the years? What changed him into a gloomy sensei?
Extra note: You can totally picture Y/N in the OC female name, it's just that it'd be cute to read Aizawa calling her pet names. 🤍
Chapter 1 - Welcome to the U.A.
On the first day of school, the UA’s enormous doors opened earlier than usual. Some teachers, the kindest ones, had come out to welcome the new students. Some of them already knew each other, having grown up in the same neighborhood and lucky enough to be in the same high school class. Such was the case with Hizashi Yamada, Oboro Shirakumo, and Shouta Aizawa.
While the first two talked quite loudly, drawing the attention of anyone who passed by, the last one was not only almost asleep but also remarkably quiet, he looked like a calm boy, someone who didn't look for trouble.
Starting with Hizashi, he was a tall and slim boy with blond hair, which he wore spiked upwards. His eyes were covered with some pretty cool sunglasses, and it was very common to see him with a large smile on his face. Hizashi had an eccentric personality, almost like a radio host. He even often posed when he talked and maintained a certain level of excitement or volume, regardless of the situation. Though he tended to be a jovial individual, Hizashi was capable of great rage, but that wasn't really common to occur, for he was the typical extroverted and popular guy.
Meanwhile, Oboro's light blue wavy hair was his charm, as well as his adorable and bright personality. He usually wore an expression of excitement. Very prone to making jokes and witty comments with innuendos, his energetic and goofy personality was similar to that of Hizashi, although Oboro never quite reached his friend's excitement. Due to his extravagant behavior, he was not the type of person who followed protocol and had little sense of shame, hence just as he was walking with his friends, he closed his uniform shirt as if he were in his room.
Finally, behind came the third of them, Shouta Aizawa. He was a slender and tall, tanned-skinned boy with messy, shoulder-length black hair, that partially hung in front of his face and half-opened black eyes. His worn-out appearance made him often look fatigued, especially because of his tired eyes. He was a very stern and reserved person; actually, he often came off as cold and apathetic, someone who preferred to take naps in every possible place over any other activity. Although quiet, the young hero student was very vocal and bold when expressing his ideas, which lead him to only had two friends. Despite his apathetic traits, he genuinely cared about his friends and was willing to do anything for them. In fact, he had already done it, he had already gotten into more than one problem because of Hizashi and Oboro. Shouta often grinned and even made jokes about his friends' eccentric personalities. Although it was more common to see him serious or rather shy.
While Hizashi spoke, or rather, he shouted expressing his immense emotion, Oboro adjusted his uniform. To tell the truth, it seemed that he was getting dressed, because now he was buttoning up his shirt.
“Do you really have to do that while we walk among so many people?” Aizawa asked.
“I didn't have time to get dressed. If you hadn't held us up for wanting to rescue that cat, I'd have been able to do it, so now you suck it up." He said with a mischievous smile as he tried to find his belt inside his backpack.
“Do you think they assign us the same section? I want us to be classmates again." Hizashi commented when they were already walking through the main gates.
Aizawa listened to Oboro's answer until something else completely stole his attention. Sitting on a bench next to a window, a girl was waiting for the doors of the academy's auditorium to open so that the professors could give them the welcome speech.
He was not the type of individual who paid special attention to admiring another person's beauty, he had had beautiful classmates at high school, and he had even seen some very pretty girls entering the academy, however, none of them had got to awake something on him, as it had happened to Oboro and Hizashi and their numerous dates.
Yet, that girl just a few steps away had taken his breath away. Aizawa cut the conversation with his friends because, for a few seconds, he couldn't do anything else but admire that short girl with long, wavy pastel pink hair tied in a braid. She had been nervously playing with a pink hair tie while waiting to enter the auditorium. Suddenly, a gust of wind made her look at the branches of a tree through the window, allowing Aizawa to see a bit more of her face.
Possibly due to Aizawa's piercing stare, she realized someone was looking at her, and turning around, she discovered him. Her lovely and expressive green eyes were now fixed on the young man's black eyes. His usual tired gaze switched to a wide-eye one by noticing an undeniable sparkle in the girl's look. Such interaction struck Aizawa to the core; it was so overwhelming, that he was about to break that eye contact. Luckily, he did not do it and did not miss the kind but shy and fleeting smile that the girl gave him. Shota couldn't smile back not because he didn't want to, but because he simply couldn't, he just froze. Naturally, when the girl saw that the guy didn't even react back, she looked away from him and had to force herself to think of something else; otherwise, the auto cringe would have made her leave the place.
"You okay, bro? Are you that nervous? Your face's red." Oboro said looking at his friend, but Aizawa just shook his head.
"Let's go in, the doors are already open." Aizawa replied without forgetting the girl's smile.
He wasn't the typical guy who got a lot of smiles or kind looks, perhaps because his eyes were usually on the ground, or because his gaze was a tired one, not precisely a cordial one. Whatever the reason, it was not common for him to receive such a kind facial expression like that. All his life he was used to Hizashi and Oboro turning out to be the ones who stole peeks and received compliments. To tell the truth, Aizawa had never minded that since social interactions were not his thing at all.
Yet, he did not have time to think more about it, the professor who welcomed them had already started with his talk. He explained to the students how the academy worked and how they would be assigned to a class. That was how that day, once again fate wanted Aizawa, Oboro, and Hizashi to be together in the same class. Though that was not the only surprise. When they entered the room, Aizawa saw the girl again; apparently, the four of them would study together from now on.

That was how they spent the first days at the UA. The professional heroes didn't give them a break, it was training after training, in addition to master classes, of course. Knowing and trusting each one's quick was a must to survive the UA classes; therefore, Aizawa was definitely not having a good time. Meanwhile, Hizashi and Oboro not only controlled theirs better, but they also felt comfortable with their powers and were confident that they would become excellent heroes. However, the shy young man constantly doubted his ability, and when possible, he trained alone so as not to slow anyone down. But that changed the second week when one of the teachers asked them to pair up for the next lesson in one of the many training camps.
"Okay, this is it! I'll ask Hoshino to work with me!" Oboro said, adjusting his uniform and referring to the pink-haired girl, who turned out to be very quiet and introverted. Even though she had all her classmates drooling over her from the first day, she was always alone and studying in her spare time in the library.
"Don't even dream about it, Oboro, I'll ask her," Hizashi replied. "You are very noisy, she won't want to be your partner."
“What the fuck, Hizashi!? You scream instead of talking! Besides, you'll scare her, you're too aggressive."
"I'm not aggressive!"
"And you're not very bright either, why would the best of the class want to work with you?"
Aizawa, for his part, chuckled upon hearing his friends and continued tying his shoelaces. In the meantime, Hizashi and Oboro were so focused on arguing among themselves that they didn't realize when the girl approached where they were.
Thus, she touched the least expected person's shoulder and spoke.  “Hi... Hum, excuse me, would you mind if we worked together? I've seen your quirk and I think we could make a good team.” As determined as she was to train with him, there was a hint of shyness in her voice.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" Oboro and Hizashi asked looking at how she had chosen Aizawa as her partner.
Although the two outgoing boys had come to her since day one to introduce themselves, Aizawa hadn't said a word, preferring to stay behind. So, her proposal was quite unexpected for everyone, especially for Aizawa, who looked at her as if hoping that she would realize that she was speaking to HIM and not to his friends.
"I see... you already have a partner, I'm sorry." Wishing that the earth would swallow her, the girl was about to disappear, she didn't do it only because Oboro was faster and prevented her.
"No, he doesn't have one! It's just that Aizawa's very shy." Oboro replied as Hizashi practically pushed his friend to his feet.
“Did you hear that, Shota? You'll be able to work with the best of the class!” The blonde said.
"Are you sure you want to work with me?"
"Come on, Shota, don't be so humble, your quirk's awesome!" Hizashi said pushing him to such an extent that the young black-haired man almost lost his balance.
That was how Aizawa and the girl ended up teaming up together. The mission they had been given to train was to enter the forest that surrounded the UA and find a hidden bomb as quickly as possible. For that, they would have the whole class, for the terrain was huge.
All the way Aizawa was wondering the same thing. "Why does she want to work with me?" The girl had passed the entrance exam with the highest score, and despite only taking two weeks of classes, all her teachers had already recognized her as the best of her generation.
“So, you erase quirks with your gaze…" The girl said, interrupting Aizawa's analysis. "That's so cool! You have one of the best powers I've ever seen.”
“The effect lasts until I blink. It's not very useful."
"Have you tried using eye drops? That way your eyes will be moisturized, and you can train them for a longer use of your quirk. Maybe they'll be a little dry, but at least they won't hurt afterward."
Aizawa remained silent, contemplating the option that the girl gave him; truth be told, she made a lot of sense. After some minutes of walking in silence, the boy talked. “What about your quirk? Can you manipulate any kind of energy? If so, you have unlimited potential."
"It's not that easy." She responded by shaking her head. “When I transform energy, I use my own. The more energy I manipulate, the less I have left to fight. Also, it's not unlimited, quite the opposite. If I intend to control some type of energy, I first must know it thoroughly, know how it works, and what risks can come."
"That's why she studies so much..." Aizawa thought.
“If I don't know the type of energy, or if I convert more than what my body resists, things don't end well. It's happened a couple of times and it hasn't been nice." She confessed somewhat embarrassed. "That's why I think we could make a good team, you could give me a hand if things get messy."
"You barely know me, are you going to trust me that much?"
"I saw how you helped your friend when we floated higher than expected."
The girl giggled remembering how during one of the first practices, Oboro used one of his clouds to float. He was just bragging; yet, thanks to the wind, the cloud flew higher and quicker. It was Aizawa who controlled the situation by erasing his quirk and helping him get back to earth.
"Oh, you saw that..." He whispered just about to laugh. Not even Shota could deny how funny it was to see Oboro fall over Hizashi.
"How not to? Your other friend, the blond one, kept yelling at the cloud guy to get off of him."
"Yeah, that's kind of common when it comes to Hizashi and Oboro."
"Well, we'd better hurry if we want to find that bomb first."
The dynamic between the two students turned out to be quite good, not only did they complete the mission successfully, but they also had time to get to know each other a little better, because by finishing before all the other groups, they had almost an hour free. Thus, sitting on some rocks on the banks of a river, Shota discovered that her family lived in the countryside and that to pursue her dream of becoming a hero, she had moved to the city alone. The academy had dormitories for students with similar situations, so she had no problem finding a place to live. That short interaction was enough for Aizawa to judge her as a nice and extremely sweet girl.
Without knowing how or why, she quickly felt comfortable with Aizawa, so much so that she made a couple of jokes and even imitated him. Apparently, in that week the young heroine had analyzed him enough to discover several of his habits.
“You have a lot of free time in class.” The boy commented unable to avoid laughing just a little when he saw her imitating the way he yawned.
“The first week has been calmer than I imagined.”
“That's because you're talented. I barely approved the physical performance exams.”
Once again, the girl started to play with her hair tie, anyone could tell she was struggling to decide if saying what she was thinking or remaining silent. In the end, she mustered some courage and dared to say it.  “We could train together in the afternoons.”
Aizawa raised his gaze and looked at her as if looking for any sign that he had listened wrong. “YOU are going to train with me? You, the number one in the class?”
“I also need to train, and I think we could complement ourselves. I mean... our quirks." She corrected herself while blushing.
Aizawa was the first classmate she actively approached and, to tell the truth, it had been hard for her to summon up the courage to speak to him. Judging by his actions during those two weeks of classes, it was highly possible that he would say no. After all, Shota hardly talked with his two friends, why would he say yes to training with her?
"I mean, it's just an idea. But if you already train with someone else, that's fine." She said feeling how her face was turning even more red.
Noticing that he was making her feel uncomfortable, Aizawa reacted. “It's not what you're thinking. Honestly, I didn't expect you to want to team up with me. You caught me off guard."
Understanding that it wasn't that he was rejecting her, but that this was all very unexpected for him, she felt less embarrassed. “I'm not very good at making friends and many of our classmates already knew each other. Besides…. You seem like a very trustworthy person and your quirk is wonderful. I'm sorry, I think I already told you this a dozen times.” She said between a shy giggling.
The black-haired hero looked at her for a few moments. "She's really cute. No wonder why Hizashi and Oboro say it all the time."
"Well, I don't want to put you on the spot. If one day you have some free time, we could train together, Aizawa.” She said getting up, it was time to meet up with the rest of the class.
"Shota, call me Shota."
“My name's Kaori. Thanks for working with me today, Shota.” She responded with a sweet smile.
