Adding my 2 cents no one asked for

Snape 100% plays male manipulator games like League of Legends and Mortal Kombat

Dorcas is a resident evil girlie and always has been

Lily is a sims and Stardew valley girlie and they’re literally the only game she plays but damnit if it doesn’t take up all her free time

Barty doesn’t properly game but his phone is fucking loaded with mobile games, half of which are off loaded to keep space (why he doesn’t just delete them, who knows)

Pandora doesn’t game at all but she loves watching her friends play and is weirdly good at being second player in whatever game despite never playing on her own

Marlene has pink cat headphones and a self built set up and will crush you in Guilty Gear

And Im leaving Evan out because I do not know

regulus would so be an indie horror gamer. his favourite games would be sally face and literally any chilla's art game.

james plays minecraft and any spiderman/batman games he can get his hands on (he's openly a slut for the lego games too).

remus lupin swears he hates gaming but when prompted to he will play roblox games and bully anyone and everyone. the anonymity works wonders for him.

sirius black plays princess dress up games everyone shut up.

peter is a jack of all trades and is literally the best gamer out of all of them.

And I feel like Regulus has similar feelings and experience with being used and forgotten, which can open up the emotional avenue for this ship. Remus and Regulus are both very intellectual people with a lot of harbored anger and that can lead to the bet revenge plots like ever.

Regulus’ face card is absolutely unmatched and he 10000% uses it to his advantage at any point it’s useful, especially in the dance of seducing your brother’s ex that he may or may not be deeply smitten with. And Remus is a weak, weak man who may or may not be smitten back.

And I am a firm believer in little Reggie being kind of shy, like in public he’d always hide behind Sirius and cling to his shirt like a lifeline. So can you really blame him for being way too timid to say anything to the boy ho has throughly changed his brain chemistry with how cool his scars are.

I was literally just imagining a fic like this. Like imagine little ten year old Regulus meeting Sirius at the station for Christmas break or something and seeing Remus get off the train with his brother and instantly feeling the effects of his first crush kicking in. Sirius raves about all of his new friends and Regulus is much more interested in the stories involving Remus than any other name. Next year comes and Sirius introduces his brother to the marauders and Regulus overlooks the opportunity to make fun of the fact they named their damn friend group because Remus’ rbf is doing too much to him. The crush lingers way too long and when he catches wind that Remus has distanced himself from the other marauders, well he just can’t help himself.

And you’re a 100% right, Regulus would never admit his long term feelings. BUT imagine the deep feelings of undeniable love and interest in Remus beyond petty revenge that he says no word of. AND IMAGINE REMUS THINKING HE UNDERSTANDS THIS RELATIONSHIP AS MUTUAL REVENGE AGAINST SIRIUS AND DOESNT EVEN THINK THAT REGULUS COULD ACTUALLY LIKE HIM!!

Romantic Moonwater is my favorite thing and no one loves it like I do.

I think too many people already hate it because they love Wolfstar and Regulus and Sirius don’t like each other so Remus homie hopping between them makes him look like an asshole. BUT I have a solution.

Romantic Moonwater POST THE PRANK. I genuinely don’t know why I haven’t seen it, because it works so well. Remus and Regulus, the two people that love Sirius the most but he has wronged the most, bonding over that very problem and realizing how much they have in common along the way.

I’m probably gonna write something for that because I have to do eveyrthing myself but I’m also on my knees begging you to do it for me if you like because the more the merrier

My current Roman Empire is my natural headcanon that Sirius is unknowingly exactly like his father.

How can one be that way without knowing? Well, I feel like the Black family dynamic is reliant on Walburga for more proactive abuse while Orion is a bystander. Not an innocent one, mind you, he just prefers to ignore that he even has a family altogether since he never wanted this life and hates his wife and finds his children to be annoying nails in his coffin. He throws himself into work just to have an excuse to be away from them and it works. Sirius probably doesn’t even remember the last time he as much as saw his father, so how could he say he knows him enough to compare himself to him? And in terms of those similarities, I feel like a lot of them aren’t even glaring in their eyes. They’re just completely blind to them because they rarely interact.

Like they look exactly the same, if you went back in time you would just see a more cleaned up Sirius in Slytherin robes roaming the halls of Hogwarts. If the other marauders ever saw Orion their first thought would be ‘Sirius but older.’ And their physical similarities run bone deep. They have the same dramatically annoyed (like everything around them is below them) air about them when forced to do something they don’t want to, their eyes look exactly the same when wielding furious glares that settle within and fester until they explode, when drunk and angry Orion even stands the same as Sirius with his shoulders back and head at the same regally rebellious tilt he’d perfected in his own teen years, they roll their eyes the same way and scoff an identical sound in Walburga’s face when being reminded of their ‘duties,’ and the way they carry themselves when they talk to Regulus with guilt over something or other (reproachful and not willing to apologize but letting speaking to him at all be atonement) gives the youngest Black the same eternally small feeling.

But like neither of them know that at all while that’s all anyone around them can see. Orion’s closer family tease that Sirius is just him a second time (same brooding teenager) and he thinks they’re just insulting him. Walburga is the first to notice they share the tendency to say the same sort of stabbing words when agitated and looking for a fight, and Regulus is the first to notice they wear the same like caniving shit eating grin while wielding their knivish tongues. Regulus had always been more partial to his father when Sirius was away because he could see his favorite person behind the veil of age. Walburga jumped to fight with either and both her husband and oldest sun almost back to back with one another because it’s the same face frowning at her and the same voice biting back at her and she can’t properly control either of them.

And the more tragic half of it all, I mainly mentioned their similarities when angry because Orion is just always angry. He’s always stewing in emotion and never relaxed enough to be happy enough to parallel that side of Sirius. Orion used to be the same angry boy from the same angry house with the same angry parents and grew up with the same stupid duties and the same stupid expectations, but he molded to them eventually. He never got out. He stayed regal and he stayed angry. He never had anyone to pull him out. (There’s the lingering threads wounding into a tragic cloak for Regulus to wear in that.)

There’s no way of knowing how truly tightly the knotted the tie between the father and the son is when the father doesn’t have a smile for the son to mirror. There’s no way for the son to see history repeating within himself when he can’t make out his father well enough to witness their edges blurring together.

The rooftop trio is AN ACTUAL LOVE TRIANGLE!!

Yknow how ‘dark’ romances always portray a love triangle as just two people in love with the same person who loves them both? Fuck that. That’s a live angle, I’m talking a REAL LOVE TRIANGLE

Aizawa would die in Oboro’s place any day, he visits Kurogiri everyday just to catch a glimpse of him; Oboro only awakes from the depths of Kurogiri with Hizashi calls, he’s dormant in his tomb of smoke under Aizawa’s watch and while Kurogiri has bitten out some insults at Aizawa he rarely even LOOKS at Hizashi (ALSO DUDE THE HERO NAME ‘LOUD CLOUD’ LITERALLY SOUNDS LIKE A SHIPNAME FOR OBORO AND HIZASHI); it’s a secret to absolutely none that Hizashi lives for Aizawa. He loves that man with eveyrthing in him and would give anything for him to less hard on himself.

Hizashi is willing to give up his eveyrthing to try and be there for Aizawa, but Aizawa is so focused on the remnants of Oboro, which are only open for Hizashi to see

(Simpler terms, Aizawa likes Oboro but Oboro likes Hizashi but Hizashi likes Aizawa)

I’d also like to add two things going along with this idea:

1. Aizawa doesn’t have it in him to be the end of Kurogiri. Aizawa sees Kurogiri everyday, believing over and over again that he can make a difference and SAVE Oboro from the prison he views Kurogiri as.

Mic doesn’t. Mic refuses to see the walking corpse of his dead friend unless he has to. Mic is steadfast in the belief that Oboro should have stayed dead and Kurogiri shouldnt exist. Mic doesn’t feel for Kurogiri like Aizawa does, but he does feel for Oboro. He did mourn his friend, but he MOVED ON.

He’s not still so caught up in Oboro’s death that he sees his face in all of his students like Aizawa does. He doesn’t have the hole in his heart to fill with false hope that Kurogiri can be ‘fixed.’ If push comes to shove, Aizawa won’t have the heart to dash that hope by vanquishing Kurogiri like the villain he is. Mic will.

2. Less of a cool point but I think a neat angsty fact that none of the rooftop trip actually know but we as the audience do is that the absorbed quirk that killed Oboro was Mic’s. So it’d be poetic if Mic killed Oboro twice yknow.

(Not that I actually blame him for Oboro’s death, just like in general.)

Kurogiri is not Aizawa's villain to take down

he never was, and he never will be, if for no other reason than because Horikoshi hadn't decided what to do with Kurogiri when he was first introduced.

Kurogiri and Shigaraki are the only two villains that we're introduced to at USJ who are part of the final war. because Horikoshi hasn't figured out Kurogiri yet There's nothing between Kurogiri and Aizawa. They did not recognize each other then. At all. There's nothing there. This is later confirmed at Tartarus, when Aizawa and Mic are told the truth about Shirakumo and Kurogiri.

Horikoshi likes foreshadowing. If he had intended for Kurogiri to have been Aizawa's childhood friend from the start, there would have been some sort of hint of it back then. Okay, so then when did he decide on Kurogiri's origins? Probably by the time we got the remedial training arc, because that's the first time we really get Mic as a character. Granted, we don't get a whole lot of insight into him, because he's not the focus of the plot. But we do get some glimpses of who he is. He's smart and sarcastic and weird and doesn't seem to like conflict or at least awkward conversations and most importantly Aizawa trusts him.

Mic is Aizawa's other childhood friend, of course he trusts him- No. It's not just that. Here's the thing. Mic and Aizawa and Shirakumo are so intrinsically tied together that when we first learn of Shirakumo-through their memories-they are both present in each other's memories with Shirakumo.

Mic had to be allowed to become a full character because he was going to be part of Kurogiri's story.

I would almost make an argument that Kurogiri is more Mic's villain than Aizawa's even. Okay? Remember how I said Kurogiri doesn't recognize Aizawa? He recognizes Mic. Or at least according to Garaki he does. He confirms that they were after Erasure, so if they were watching Aizawa back when he was a student, they should know that all three of them were friends, right? But he refers to Mic as Kurogiri's friend. Present tense. Kurogiri still knows who Mic is.

And this was confirmed back in Tartarus when they first confront Kurogiri too. This time Kurogiri recognizes them both (he only indicates that he knows Aizawa from USJ btw). Aizawa starts talking to Shirakumo, who tries responding, but he's not able to actually break through until Mic also calls out to him.

Aizawa's never able to reach Shirakumo alone. He confirms that he kept trying while they were both at central hospital, but was never able to get a response. If Kurogiri was solely Aizawa's villain, then he would have been able to get through to him then. Shirakumo would have been the heroes secret ace in the hole during the final war, there would be no need for Monoma to have learned to use warp gate. There would have been no reason to use Mic as an actual character. There would have been no reason for Aizawa to ask Mic to be at the hospital. Because again, Aizawa trusts Mic. He knows he's not able to reach Shirakumo alone and is hoping Mic can.

And he's not wrong. When it comes down to it, and Kurogiri wakes up, there's a part of Shirakumo fighting for control too. Because Mic called out to him.

Kurogiri is not Aizawa's villain. He is, at the very least, both Mic and Aizawa's villain (and maybe it's just me projecting as a Mic fan, but I'm almost inclined to believe Mic is going to play a bigger role than Aizawa in this plot) But the last time we saw any of the three of them, they were together, so we'll just have to wait and see how this plays out for them.
