“Oh hey y/n - do you need anything?” he asks and the three of them stopped.

“Oh uhm.. I just needed to ask you something real quick.” you lied.

“Sure - you don't have to wait, I’ll come right after.” and with that you two are alone.

“So what’s up love?” he tilts his head.

“Is it fun?” you ask him dead serious.

“Fun?” he’s already confused - what is supposed to be fun?

“Torturing me.”

“To- WHAT? Love, I have never intended to hurt you in any way I'm sorry if I did it wasn't my fault at all...” he begins and you interrupted him

“So ... you did not flexed your arms the whole time during math?!”

oh. now it clicks.

his face relaxes and he stokes your cheek.

“Let’s discuss this inside, shall we?” he gently pushes you into the lockers room.

yes soo... things get heated real quick

your hands run over his rock hard muscles

stopping at his arms, your hands grab onto his biceps

he starts nibbling on your lower lip - earning a moan from you

his hands are rested at the small of your back, moving downwards until he got a good grip on your booty

and the team needs their captain right?

sooo Goshiki and semi walk back to see if everything is alright with you and if he can finally come so they could start with practice

Semi opens the door

Goshiki’s face drops, mouth open, hands over his eyes

“Alright, continue this later we have practice.”

ANDD with that

Ushijima is already dressed leaving the room with semi, who's dragging a still shocked Goshiki back with him.

“I’ll see you tomorrow love, text me when you got home!” Ushijima yells over his shoulder.

You stand in the room for another 10 minuets.

HOW could he be so unbothered and just leave? Sure volleyball is his number one but .... just HOW?

Well... he’s not unbothered, since he can only think about your soft lips.

It’s Ushijima and he’s got the ultimate poker face and eventho his thoughts are with you - he’s still amazing at volleyball and no one noticed

“Tsukishima and Y/n wont come... Well they probably will come.. but not for dinner, they’re already eating each others faces.”

You stayed in the gym for a few more minutes.

Non of you saying anything

Your stomach grumbles and Tsuki sighs

“We can either jump off the nearest bridge OR get humiliated. I’m rooting for the first option.” He looks into your eyes and adds “I’m sorry baby.”

Well.. you still chose the second option.

You open the doors and all the talking stopped

and now all eyes are fixed on you two as you get inside the room and sit down beside Yamaguchi and Hinata.

still non of them dared to say a word - thanks to Tsuki’s death stares

“Well, your bag is on the other side of the room so I don’t see a problem.” Yūji says unbothered by the interruption, is lips badly leaving yours

“Just be on time for practice. I swear to god Misaki’s going to kill you otherwise.” and he left the room again.

Yūji is back doing his work the second he heard the door shut. Lifting up your skirt a bit more his hand moves in-between your thighs...

well... he’s late for practice again

opening up the door to the gym he walks into it like the ‘king’ he is

His hand runs through his still messy hair and smug smile on his face

“Sorry - got caught up in something.”

the whole team, coach included, rolls their eyes.

fast forward after practice ended in the lockers room.

“WTF TERUSHIMA ?!” Futamata exclaims jumping back from the lockers he saw you pressed against earlier

“What?” Yūji asks, already knowing what’s up

“YOUR BACK. You two did... did it... HERE?!”

“well.. good for you that you got your bag in time.” he smirks and finishes getting dressed.

“CLEAN THE GODDAMN ROOM.” Bobata looks disgusted.

Well the whole team looks disgusted asking themselves if they should just burn everything that touched basically anything in this room.

“No sorry, I can’t. Promised Y/N to finish what I started.” And with that he casually walks out of the room leaving his team disgusted and with nightmares.

I got saimota vibes too, particularly when it says the stuff about the person playing it cool and obeying every rule but the singer digs a way into their heart, it made me think of Kaito getting Shuichi to come out of his shell and live a little y'know! Then the stuff about life passing by and how you gotta cut loose, it just makes me think of that again, of Kaito brightening up Shuichi's life by showing him new things and expanding his horizons and just yES, it makes sense 🌚

Appmon Ep52 Liveblog

It’s the final episode! Our Singularity! There are several definitions of the word “singularity”, but the definition that best fits the episode (and entire series) is: “a hypothetical moment in time when artifical intelligence and other technologies become so advanced that humanity undergoes a dramatic and irreversible change.”

another fancy quote. this one is from Clyde Sinclair.

Haru was falling off a building but he’s fine now because Gaiamon came and grabbed him. I actually think that this shot is really cool, how the camera dips down as Haru should hit the ground but then raises back up when Gaiamon catches him.

and everyone else’s Appmon are back, too!

and now everyone else’s Appmon are getting beat up. good thing they don’t have to worry about protecting humans anymore, because this city is getting torn to pieces.

I still don’t really get why Haru holds up his hand at Leviathan (i guess it’s supposed to be like, he’s so heroic and fearless now? i think Haru has just been running off of adrenaline ever since the antenna fiasco and isn’t putting a whole lot of thought into what he does.) but everyone calling out to their Appmon, even from such a long distance, is cool.

Minerva’s dead now, but now everyone has a cool power-up! it’s basically like a reverse version of the power-up that Leviathan threw around during the Ultimate Four arc.

this fight is super cool, and really well choreographed with all of the swooping around and the solid impacts that the hits have. and they knew it was cool, too, cause the opening plays during it.

and now after all that big talk that Leviathan’s minions had about the irrelevance of feelings and what the heart wants and how logic will always prevail, Leviathan subccumbs to the raw emotion that is the fear of death. ultimately, no matter how emotionless and logical someone pretends to be, they will always be influenced by their emotions — we wouldn’t be living things without that.

aw man, I just thought of this... wouldn’t it have been cool if part of these power-ups had been fueled by an overdrive?

Leviathan’s body is destroyed now! this isn’t the end, though, but everyone thinks it is so they enjoy a nice moment of reunion and congratulations. So everyone hugs and hi-fives and stuff, Dokamon finally gets some affection, and Rei & Hackmon are just vibing!

i was gonna say something cheeky about how Yujin starts apologizing for what he’s done, but then I realized you can actually look at this as a parallel to Offmon’s profuse apologizing for some unknown deed from earlier on — the way Yujin repeats “sorry” even sounds like how Offmon would apologize.

but things are not over because Leviathan was scared of death so now Yujin is acting as a host for Leviathan’s remains.

besides the “no more fear of death” thing, I wonder why Leviathan is so enamored with the idea of a world without suffering or sadness? perhaps choosing to break away from the rules of humanity lead Leviathan to discover the depths of human suffering? maybe, like with the “no more fear” thing, Leviathan felt a bunch of negative emotions and was like “well this sucks” and decided to get rid of them?

yep, change is a really important theme in Appmon. change for the better, change for the worse — it’s what living things do

oh yeah lol then Leviathan turns that on its head and makes Haru choose between humanity and Yujin’s life.

but, in the end, to not have selected “yes” would have been extremely selfish, not to mention unprotagonist-y. looking at it as sheer numbers, there’s more value in saving lots of people instead of just one person... and, it would result in lots of people loosing those they care about. it’s one person’s valued relationship VS the valued relationships between billions of people, so of course “yes” is the best answer... really shitty of Leviathan to make Haru make that choice, though. it’s good writing.

and now Haru knows what he’s going to do in the future (and what kind of high school he’s going to apply for) — he’ll become a AI researcher so that he can try and revive Yujin after all this. it’s been only about a day since they had that conversation, after all, so it’s still fresh in his mind.

and Yujin knows that it would be horrible to make Haru willingly give up his best friend so he wakes his consciousness up and hits the button for him. so, despite Yujin not actually changing much through the series, he does finally make good on his App Drive question — he gave up his life to protect Haru. though the wording of the question made it seem like Yujin would wind up saving him from, like, physical harm, he actually winds up protecting Haru from emotional harm.

Haru’s request to Yujin to somehow come back and be his best friend again is pretty illogical (how would he do that if he’s dead), but again I think Haru is mostly just running on raw emotion rather than any actual thought throughout this episode. which is fitting, I suppose, given the themes of emotion VS logic. plus Yujin is going to be back in like five minutes so *shrugs*

also, I think this part is sweet, how the buddy pairs try to console each other... it’s especially cute how Musimon tries to wipe away Astora’s tears

and now it’s the near future and everything is getting rebuilt!

oh, the person watching the news is Unryuji Knight. i guess he doesn’t completely dissapear after the end of his arc.

oh, they actually go over the intended definition of singularity in the episode. I totally forgot since I was focused on everything else happening in the epilogue.

I can’t escape the feeling that Astora must get grounded or something sometimes after his videos. like there’s no way he gets off scot-free for breaking pots or filling ponds full of fish with slime

at this point, the first time I watched this episode I barely paid attention to the actual happenings of the epilogue because, once I realized that no Appmon were appearing, the only thing I could think was “and the Appmon? where are the Appmon?? they didn’t leave, did they???”. so this time, since I know the Appmon are still around, I’m going to pay better attention.

I’m really curious what the dissolving of L-Corp means — was everything owned by L-Corp just shut down, or did other companies get to buy up L-Corp’s subsidiaries? because it seems really coincidental that Eri would wind up working with Elena and Alice again under a completely different idol firm, so I wonder if they’re still working for Appliyama and it just got bought out by a new company?

and Grandpa Deneimon got put back in the real world. it’s never said whether everyone winds up telling their families about the Appmon or anything, so is Deneimon just living in Ai’s basement and Haru’s mom has no idea he’s still alive??

and the Appmon are still around, much to the relief of my past self! everyone’s still close friends, too — they still hang out together in the bookstore’s basement. and, they somehow managed to pull Offmon out of the wreckage of Leviathan’s body, and now Haru is careing for him. Gatchmon never really ever got over being annoyed-jealous at Offmon all the time, so I imagine that Haru’s home life must be real experience with those two around.

andddd Yujin is alive! somehow! it’s a little cheap that he magically comes back after Haru bases his future goals around losing him — generally, if you’re really going to use a death for character development, they should stay dead. But, this is a kids’ show, so I really can’t complain too much. and, soon after watching this for the first time, I did quickly cook up a theory to explain his return — since Yujin befriending Haru was so intrigal to Leviathan’s plans, it seems like there would have been a way to revive Yujin if something happened to him so that the plan could continue. so, based on the assumption that when Yujin returns home for the day and his doorway scans his memory and makes it so his mom knows what he wants to eat also makes a backup of his memory, it’s entirely possible that his mom was also saddened by his death and decided to just revive him from a backup (which would leave him without any memory of what happened the day they caught Bootmon or anything after that), using that last complete-but-unused Yujin body that was shown a few episodes ago. that’s my headcanon for what happened, anyways.

one last Haru’s birthday for the road :’)

And that’s the end of the show! I wound up really liking Appmon when I first watched it last August, to the point where I decided to rewatch it just a few months afterwards. And, lo-and-behold, I still really like it! It’s not only a really good mon-genre show, with a lot of focus on the friendships between humans and monsters, but it’s also a really interesting look at the potential bonds of people and technology. i’ve abandoned this au for so long istg my life is a mess yall please forgive but anyway im back with my bullshit and ready to spread my cringe-worthy stuff to the world again

major: practical music and arts

other activities: leader, guitarist, and vocalist of university band, president of music club, member of cooking club

park sungjin is the embodiment of leadership

i mean he’s the band leader, the club president, also the president of his class since year one, like he’s so trustworthy and responsible, literally nothing can go wrong under his sight

and even when things do go wrong (life is a bitch) he’ll still make sure everyone is fine and having the time of their lives pun intended

anyone who meets sungjin for the first time will probs say he has this tough man aura, cold,,, tsundere-ish idk

but as someone who have known each other for so long, you never understand when anyone says sungjin looks cold

you know damn well the moment sungjin opens his mouth he gonna throw dad jokes with his satoori dialect

yeah its all cute and sweet but thats all of your relationship with sungjin, you treat him like a dependable brother and he treats you like his own little sister

they’re hoping they can get to sungjin through you yanno like asking you to send him snacks and letters or to tell him they say hi

you dont mind i mean you know sungjin is one admirable person ofc everyone likes him

but you always told him everything

sungjin never speaks about it again

you go on another date with sandeul the week after

you tell sungjin later and he doesnt ask how it went

idk he’s kinda distant now, he rarely talks nor replies to your texts

he doesn't visit music club nor cooking club either so you don't see him often

skip the boring part so uh a few more days passed awkwardly between you two and after your failed attempt at asking around you decide to confront sungjin in person

youre in the band practice room, the others are present, sungjin’s about to leave early as usual, and you find yourself jumping up your seat, “whats your problem with me?”

you know sungjin hates confrontation but you cant stand it anymore. you tried giving him time but if theres anything you seem to be more of a stranger to him

“i dont know what i did wrong and i wont know if you dont tell me, so let me know. i’ll listen and i’ll apologize if its my fault, but dont give me silent treatment like this. its so unlikely of you"

you can see sungjin clences his jaw as he replies calmly, "people change"

"you don't change, youre being childish. if you're mad you should talk about it. if you don't want me here you should tell me to go. if you don't like ME dating your friend you should tell me not to!!!"

and suddenly there's a train of awkward coughs and you come back to your senses and you realize you're being watched

dowoon mumbles, "can we,,, make an exit first before you two declare your undying love bc its privacy yanno"

you feel the heat spreading across your face as you open your mouth the same time as sungjin, both want to deny dowoon, but younghyun beats yall to it, "yeah you two are in love with each other we been know"

you and sungjin stares at each other, confused, "we don't???"

"oh honey,,, my dear,,, ive read enough sappy shit in writing club to see where this is going"

the conversation was cut there and neither of you bring it up again,

because the idea of you loving sungjin or sungjin loving you is so weird that you refuse to think about it, and so is for sungjin

but ever since that, sungjin has drastically come back to normal its almost hilarious, he spends a lot of time hanging out in the music club, practicing with the band, visiting the cooking club, making a joke here and there

sungjin is himself again with you, a caring dependable brother whom you come to whenever you need to talk or just hang out with and he always makes sure he has time for you

Have you ever had FOMO (fear of missing out)? Sure, I’ll get it quite often cause there’s always so much going on. If so, what's caused it? The last time I got FOMO it was when Blanch and Andrew made plans to have a drink Friday evening a few months ago, but they invited me by the time I was already home for at least a couple of hours. Fortunately for me the hangout never pushed through that day haha. Are you happy with your social life? I’m a lot happier with it given how dismal it used to be. I’ve since reconnected with some high school friends like Ciamae and my relationships with my orgmate friends are stronger than ever. If not, what would you have to do to change that? Have you ever hosted a party? If so, what kind of party was it? No. I don’t want to bear that responsibility lol I feel like I’d be awful at planning it and that I’d turn out to be a lousy host. I’d rather go to someone else’s party.

What's the best thing you can cook yourself? Meh, don’t remind me of my nonexistent cooking skills. Are there a lot of graffiti around your neighbourhood? No. It’s a gated subdivision, so not only is that not allowed, but the people living here probably aren’t into graffiti either. They’ll be pretty common once exiting the main gate of the village, though. What kind of a phone do you have? iPhone 8. What kinds of stuff do you have on your keychain? I only have the keys to my car and front door. I used to have a rainbow Mickey Mouse that Gabie got for me as well as a UP keychain thingy, but both of them fell off at some point so I stopped including non-key things on my keychain because I was really sad about losing those trinkets. Have you ever made something with your own hands that you're proud of? Yeah. I forgot which province that was in – I think it was Vigan? – but they had a pottery factory that we visited and I was able to make my own small vase. I wasn’t able to take it home because they said firing it would take a couple of days, so I only have a photo of my work as a souvenir. If so, what is it? ^ I’m pretty sure I already posted a photo of that vase on one of my surveys; I just don’t know if this is also the exact survey I answered before lol. What is your favourite Jack Lemmon film? I haven’t watched any of his work. I’ve always wanted to see The Apartment though. What is your favourite David Hyde Pierce film? Unfamiliar name so I had to look him up...andddd after Google I’ve learned I haven’t watched any of his work. A bit of an impressive portfolio though. Have you ever made your own soda? (Soda Stream doesn't count!) No. Do you have a hobby that forces you out of the house? If so, what is it? I don’t feel forced out of the house by it lol but I do love going to museums and trying out new restaurants and what food they have to offer. It’s not as demanding as having Pokemon Go as a hobby as I like doing either on my own time. Have you ever been part of a theater group? No. If so, did you get any lead roles or mostly supporting roles? Which IM app do you use the most? Messenger. For a brief period during the quarantine my friends and I gave Telegram a shot since they also have games in there, but that only lasted like two weeks since the game bots were too wonky. What's the most ecological thing you do? I think it would be segregating my trash. I’ve forgotten most of the things my old school taught me but that’ll forever stay etched in my head, and I’m really grateful that my university also has separate trash bins to allow me to continue the practice, because so many other public areas don’t. My former music teacher, Ms. Ettie, also taught us to ‘save the polar bears.’ It’s essentially lessening your paper consumption by always folding your notebook leaves in half, but she’s always used ‘saving the polar bears’ with us both as an easy way for us to remember, and because it’s a cute way to put it. What's your favourite board game? Why do you like it best? I don’t really like playing lots of board games and I don’t get to encounter them much either. I always end up having a hard time following any of them – especially the new ones that seem to have much more rules :/ – and board games are too expensive these days anyway. Besides English, what other languages can you speak? Filipino. Besides English, what other languages can you read? Filipino. I’ve also been learning Spanish on Duolingo, but I’m still very rusty and despite being familiar with many words and phrases it’s still hard for me to read complete sentences altogether. Do you think you could make it as a chef? No, the kitchen and I have never been friends. This has baffled me for a long time because both sides of my family are known for their cooking, and my own dad is a chef. I dunno what happened to me or my siblings or cousins lol. What's your favourite kind of tea? Unhealthy, sweet, artificial/powdered iced tea. I also like the tea they give out at fancy hotels that are hot, thick, and almost taste like nothing since they make me feel fancy hahaha but I don’t get to have them a lot, so. How do you like your tea? ^ Just the first one I mentioned. I’m not much of a tea girl so the powdered iced teas are already enough for me. What thing/person/happening has made you the happiest you've been? There’s been many things that have made me extremely happy but I suppose I haven’t been as happy as the time I passed my dream school and the time I asked Gab out again and she said yes. Girls, do you ever just say "Fuck it!" and go without a bra? Yes. It’s hardly noticeable whether I’m wearing a bra or not because my chest is really tiny, and in fact it looks even more unnatural when I wear a bra because all of them are just too big for me, even the ones with the smallest cup sizes. Because of that I can alllllllways get away without wearing a bra in school and no one would bat an eye. What's the most freeing thing you've ever done? So far it’s been driving out of town by myself. Have you ever had a restaurant dish that was made with bugs? Unfortunately no. They had bug dishes in Vigan but the menu said their availability would depend on if they’re in season, and unfortunately we were there at a time when they had no bug dishes and I had to settle with the next most exotic thing they had, frog legs. The next place I wanna get to try bugs in is definitely Thailand. If not, would you even want to try one? Yup, I just said I do. Do you think today's kids are really impatient? In the same way that adults are. A lot of kids are exposed to the internet now, so I suppose they’re influenced to be impatient a lot quicker what with the possibility of their videos buffering, websites loading slowly, and other factors like those. But then again I don’t know if I’m making sense; I haven’t had to handle and observe a young kid in years. Have you ever tasted birch sap? Nope.

How about the young buds/shoots of spruce trees? I haven’t. Which edible flowers have you tasted? I don’t think I’ve tried any of them? And answering no to the last three questions has made me realize how inexperienced of a foodie I still am haha. What has been your worst restaurant experience? I can think of three but there were always external reasons as to why they were bad.

Mad Mark’s was really bad and we had to follow-up so many times for each of our meals AND our check, but I’m not as resentful towards them since one of the seemingly only two servers present was pregnant.

Barcino’s service was also quite awful and we waited an hour for our food, but we forgave them since it was Valentine’s and the place was ridiculously busy.

Probably the worst experience comes from a family dinner at Shakey’s, but only because it was my parents’ fault. I had no problem at all with the service but I think my mom and dad just decided to be extraordinarily snippy that evening and criticize every single thing our server – and eventually, the manager – did. It was really embarrassing and I remember spontaneously crying out of frustration at their childish behavior lol. We ended up walking out with my mom sneering “your service sucks” to the manager and me giving him an apologetic look. It was so brutally embarrassing, eugh.

What's the most immature, adolescent thing that still makes you laugh? Probably Pewdiepie jokes. Have you ever had a life threatening condition? If so, what was it? Nope. Do you ever compare your life to somebody else's? If so, why? Eh, it’s something we can’t help but do sometimes. What is a food item or a dish you absolutely cannot stand? Fruitcake or food for the gods. Have you ever had a custom print done on a shirt? If so, what was it? Not me personally, but I’ve ordered t-shirts with custom prints back in high school for our events. What does your favourite mug look like? I really only have one mug and I’ve described it so many times on here, so I just looked for it on Google this time and this is what it looks like. The design turns blue when the beverage inside is hot, and it gradually fades back to black as it cools down.

Do you ever copy surveys to Facebook Notes and share your answers? Mmm nope. I’ve only taken surveys and posted them on my Tumblr. What's the best thing about today? I found out Keeping Up with the Kardashians is coming to Netflix by June and I CANNOOOOOOOT be any more excited for it haha. Do you ever read other people's survey answers? Yes, always. Everyone I follow on here writes very well and it’s always interesting to read their answers :) Do you like daytime or night time better? Why? Nighttime. I don’t really like the sun and I’ve found the nightlife more suitable to my personality, interests, vibe, etc. What's your highest level of education so far? I’m taking up an undergraduate degree but I’m supposed to be graduating this year. The schedule is still wonky due to coronavirus, but I have hope in graduating. I still 130% don’t know if I will be taking up law but I’ve had family and friends lightly nagging me to try taking law school entrance exams in 2021. If you could have any job in the whole world, which would you like? A travel blogger/vlogger. Describe your ordinary day. Back when life was still...normal, I’d drive 1-1.5 hours before my first class so I can beat the traffic, but usually I’d still end up in bad traffic because that’s Metro Manila for you. What I would do on my free time depends; if my schedule was freer I’d go to Skywalk to hang with friends, but sometimes I’ll have errands to run like printing something at the internet cafe. I have nearly-daily meetings in the afternoon so I’ll have to go to those too; and then 1-2 times a week I’ll drive to Ortigas so I can see my girlfriend. It was a very hectic schedule and I miss it a lot. Would you ever have a UV tattoo? A what now? What is the brand and colour name of your favourite lipstick? I don’t have one. I only ever order quattro formaggi; I never have the heart to order anything else as it’s my favorite variety of pizza heh. Would you ever take part in a games club? Probs not as it’s not really my hobby. If so, what would be your ideal club? I dunno, this question is quite vague haha. I suppose if there’s an club or org that bands together people who love history, debates about it, or likes watching documentaries on different history topics, I’d jump on it. Would you be able to give a speech on your favourite subject right now? Sure. We used to have several impromptu speech exercises in my public speaking class and no matter how much I dreaded each of them I always did quite well, so I got convinced that I must have some sort of talent or skill in it that I never got to discover until I had that class. Do you work better alone or in a group? Depends on what needs to be done. If there’s a video that needs to be done or a poster that has to be made, I’d be much more comfortable if I was in a group cause then someone else could take over those tasks.

Are you more comfortable as a leader or a follower? It also depends. If I like the topic or task we’re given, I have no problem leading the group. Which one of your friends have you known the longest? For how long? Angela, 15 years. What is your favourite song right now at this very moment? It’s a local song called Sino by Unique Salonga. It’s not a recent song anymore, but I came across a fan video of Unique performing it in a gig and just fell in love with it all over again.

and even tho ure both in the same college course, u try to keep ur distance

as much as ud like to befriend him, hes still an idol (even tho he hasnt debuted w brand new yet) and its rlly hard for u to start up a conversation w someone famous

also ure lowkey worried tht its going to ruin how much u admire him, and that actually talking to him will destroy how highly u view him

little do u kno hes seen u around campus before n thinks ure pretty cute

u make sure to stay out of his way bc the last thing u want is to bother him by asking for a signature or picture or smthn

u try and keep a minimum of like 10 yds between u at all times

(bc itd be even more embarrassing if u tripped right in front of him and that was the first thing he noticed abt u)

but lucky for u, life doesnt care what u have planned

bc its only a month into the semester and u already have a huge project assigned

of course, it’s a partner project

it might be okay if u were able to choose ur partners, but ur teacher insisted on trying to help everyone “bond w their classmates” so its all completely random

unfortunately for u, u get sick the day that ur teacher assigns partners

so u have no idea who ure paired up with

ure stuck asking some of ur classmates, but none of them rlly remember

everyone was a bit busy stressing out over their own partners tbh

and u keep asking around a bit, but u only know so many ppl in the class so eventually u kinda give up and hope ur partner isnt too bad

u settle on focusing on ur other classes, studying for future exams and reviewing ur notes in the library

even tho ure not sick anymore, u still feel a bit drowsy from all of the different medications u took and all of the work u were trying to catch up on

so. all excuses aside u fall asleep

prob not the best plan esp since some of ur things are balancing on the edge of ur desk

but the heart wants what the heart wants, and it rlly wants to sleep

ure having a rlly weird dream abt pirate monkeys when ure jolted awake by someone bumping into ur side

u look up to see someone sprinting away from u and like okay. thts a little weird

u try not to think abt it too much bc ure still kinda sleepy

so u settle on gathering ur things so u can head back to ur dorm and decide whether or not u want to study, sleep more, or find something to eat

as u collect everything, u notice a little post it note that hadnt been there before

in messy handwriting, it says “i didnt want to wake u but im ur partner for the partner project. im woojin and u can text me at [xxx-xxx-xxxx] whenever u want to meet up i hope u sleep well”

u realize that ur partner is prob the one u saw sprinting away from u earlier after he accidentally bumped into u lol

somehow u momentarily forget that ur partner is THE park woojin and ure like aw cool this woojin guy seems nice

then ure like WAIT A SECOND

ure highkey in shock and keep pinching urself to make sure its real

so u end up taking the rest of ur stuff back to ur room and wondering how u should text him

eventually u decide on a simple greeting and ur name, and u ask him when hes free

u have to send the text and then throw ur phone onto the floor bc U JUST TEXTED PARK WOOJIN ABT MEETING IN PERSON. GOD BLESS

ure suddenly super grateful abt every decision tht led u to this moment

anyways

ur phone buzzes on the floor so u scramble to pick it up

only to realize tht its a text from ur mom asking how ure doing

u text her back and tell her not to worry, then attempt to clean ur room a little instead of waiting for woojin to text u back

u just finish reorganizing ur closet when he texts u

its a quick text, smthn along the lines of “im free tmrw afternoon, do u want to meet by the cafeteria” so u agree quickly and hope u dont seem too desperate

and u KNOW its not a date

u guys havent even spoken to each other before so???

but ure still rlly nervous bc its WOOJIN and u want to impress him, even if ure just going to spend most of ur time talking abt boring coursework

u both settle on a time to meet and u pretend not to freak out

anyways skip to the next afternoon

u get there a bit early but ?? hes there already ??? ldsjks

and he looks Really Cute like hes wearing a sweater and ripped jeans and looking like complete boyfriend material wow ure p sure u can feel ur heart stop in ur chest

hes a bit awkward but uve heard abt how shy he is so u try not to take it personally

as soon as he sees u he blurts out tht u look nice and that is not helping the way tht this feels like a date

u guys end up moving to a bench in the shade bc its rlly nice out and this way ure able to talk freely without worrying abt being too loud

he explains the project a little, and u guys go back and forth offering up ideas

he always nods super enthusiastically whenever u suggest smthn and its honestly the cutest thing uve ever seen

its so weird for u to remember that this is the same guy uve seen videos of online bc what the heck

anyways

neither of u are extreme geniuses in the class, but ure both still pretty smart

ure pleased to find tht u guys complement each other well, w different areas of interest inside the same field

it helps ur project run a lot smoother than u thought it would, so u guys split up the work and agree to do as much as u can before u meet up again

ur conversations are still a bit stilted bc ure both still shy w each other, but overall u seem to get along well so ure happy

u text each other every once in awhile to talk abt the project or ask questions

u meet up a few more times in the next couple weeks but its all work and no business

still, over time u find urselves joking around with each other a little more, teasing each other and talking abt urselves instead of the project

of course, all things must come to an end

so all too soon, the day u submit the final project arrives

and ure a little worried tht woojin is going to disappear from ur life again

bc maybe he’s only been this nice to u bc hes just a sweet guy, but as soon as the project ends he wont care abt talking to u anymore

after all, its not like u guys meet up for meals or to hang out that often - even when ure just relaxing w each other, theres always some part of ur convo tht centers around the class

so as ure freaking out over this

he texts u asking if u want to come over to his dorm while he submits it

and mb u guys can just hang out afterwards?

obviously u agree and u cant stop smiling

when u show up at his dorm, hes wearing sweatpants and a tshirt and he looks adorable as heck when he invites u in

u guys sit on his bed as he loads all the stuff on his laptop and u try not to be hyperaware of the space between u two

woojins also screaming internally but somehow u dont notice the way he keeps staring at u out of the corner of his eye

u click the “submit” button together and HIS HANDS ARE SO GENTLE also theyre shaking a little???? huh

u assume its just bc hes Extra Nervous for the project but honestly? no hes just never been this close to u and hes freaking out

but anyways

u decide to go out to eat off campus afterwards to celebrate being done

a lot of the places have long waits or are too expensive so u just eat at a chikfila

its rlly casual but its fun and u guys argue abt whether chicken nuggets or chicken sandwiches r better and u cant help but think abt how much fun ure having w hiim

u end up blurting it out to him on accident and ure v v embarrassed

but he laughs and admits tht he rlly likes spending time w u too

so u promise each other to keep hanging out afterwards

it gets to the point where weeks later, ure still texting each other to complain abt classes or ask abt the other persons day

it still feels like a dream tbh

but u guys enjoy each others company whenever u can

most of the time u end up meeting each other at the cafeteria or studying together in the library, but u both just rlly like spending time w the other person

this routine continues for awhile and its prob the best part of ur life

but at one point ure trying to sneak up on woojin and surprise him when u see him talking to himself

as u creep forward, u realize tht hes actually on the phone, and he looks kinda stressed

it feels a bit invasive so ure looking around trying to find a place to go while he finishes up his phone call

but then u hear him say ur name so. consider u INTERESTED

and he keeps getting flustered and shutting down anything tht the other person says which is weird bc hes p shy, but hes never usually tht adamant and blushy abt something

eventually he tucks his phone away and lets out a Huge sigh so ure like,, hey u good

and he laughs it off but u can tell hes a little antsy, so u decide to tell him tht u overheard a little bit of him on the phone, and u ask him what it was about

he literally turns into a tomato its so funny u wish u had recorded it

but hes like “HOW MUCH DID U HEAR”

even tho u tell him u didnt hear much, he refuses to believe u and he spends the next few minutes pouting

u keep trying to get him to talk to u normally, but he refuses

finally he ends up grumbling smthn and ure like ???

and after a few half hearted efforts to repeat himself hes like “just tell me u dont like me back”

and. WHAT.

he pouts again and its so sos sosososoos o so cute u think ure going to combust honestly

“i kno u heard me tell him tht i like u!!!! just tell me u dont feel the same and leave me alone to cry”

and u have to reassure him tht u definitely didnt hear that BUT ALSO what???

n hes literally mortified when he realizes ure serious

but he has this rlly cute determined expression like “ok well now u kno i like u!!!!! y/n, please go out w me???”

n its like OF COURSE and u tell him tht u like him too and he keeps smiling and acting shy

honestly u both just make each other super happy

when u start dating, its not too diff from when u were friends, except now ure more affectionate w each other

both physically and with ur words

he loves hyping u up, and u feel the same

esp when he starts practicing more to debut w the rest of the bnm boys

u support the heck out of each other and can always count on the other person to be there for u when u need it the most

honestly its super soft and ure totally proud to be a lowkey campus couple even tho u have to keep ur relationship on the down low bc of dispatch

still u both care for each other a lot and u wouldnt trade what u have for the world

my anime journey

I’m so bored lol so enjoy this weird essay

I started watching anime for real in 2014, last year of my highschool. I used to hate anime with burning passion in my elementary and middle school until my mother (lol) showed me “My Neighbor Totoro”. So I thought, Japanese animation isn’t only about weeb sh*t and loser, there are also good animes out there. I went hardcore Ghibli fan in 2012, but still hate other animes. In the same year I played Japanese RPG horror Ib and really love it that I finally tolerate my ‘anime hating’.

Here’s some titles that leave most impressions in me:

1. Another

This grosteque anime is my first anime series I watched by streaming, in 2013, I just put this here to mark this is my first anime lol. I still don’t like most anime when I watch this and I simply watch because of my interest in horror stuff. Tbh this anime didn’t really leave impression on me. Uh, except umbrella.

2. Shingeki no Kyojin

Everybody watched this. The boys in my class watched this, we put this on the projector in class. Ofc finally I watch the entire anime in 2014 and traumatized (even when I say I like horror), I can’t stand too much gore and dying people lol. I even read the manga, until SNK s3 takes place and maybe some more. SNK is the first anime that REALLY leaves impressions in me and I went crazy for some months because of that. SNK is great, it has no oversexualized characters or pantyshots but the gore part and edginess is too much for me to handle. I’m not going to rewatch it, or watch the new seasons..I’ve had enough.

The anime is 8,5/10 for me (I can’t stand too much blood and dying) and the fandom is 10/10 especially for memes. This is once-in-lifetime experience.

3. Tokyo Ghoul

This is what I watch after I binge watching SNK and tbh it’s certaintly not a good option lol. But since everybody in tumblr throwing this at me so I guess I’ll give it a shot and here’s my opinion: Kaneki is dumb and I’m tired of watching people being eaten. Also, Hide is bae.

4. Sword Art Online

Since I watched anime in 2014 and I watched them from crunchyroll bruh. I watched anime legally! I was randomly scrolling that site and found “sword art online season 2″ and decided to give it a shot... to refresh my mind from people being eaten. My conclusion: Sinon is my new waifu! I love her! And so, I watched SAO s1 after that.

I don’t know about this anime bad reputation back then, but seriously personally (maybe bcs I watch the s2 first) the story isn’t that bad. I see why people detest it though, the ALO arc is total sh*t. This is my first time I found anime songs I really like and discovered Yuki Kajiura and abec. I read the entire LN. I love Eugeo. And finally I take part in tumblr anime community by making SAO gifsets.

Although I stopped following SAO in the end, since what happened to Eugeo.. hahah. So SAO: the anime pretty much 7,5/10 for me. The fandom is 8/10 ish.

5. Noragami

Another anime aside “Tokyo Ghoul” that I watched because of tumblr and guess what... I LOVE IT!! I watch it in early 2016, and I can say Noragami is my most rewatched anime. I can even say which episodes are my favorite. It’s awesome, and I really, really love the main trio thanks to the first ending (which is why I put Hiyori running in the header). They have comedy, drama, edginess, and WHOLESOME FLUFF at the same time I’m really living for that.

I stopped hyping about it because that’s the same year I entered university that’s hella hectic. I probably forgot about this for a while (I think cuz of another anime I'll mention later), but the characters are always remain in my heart... then suddenly I read the manga in last February and went wHAT THE F***. I guess there’s no escape now. Downside of this anime/manga: pantyshots so it’s 9/10 for me. The fandom itself is the one of most solid and supporting I ever discovered so 10/10.

6. Fate Series

Welcome to the most hyped fandom I’m ever into. One of the biggest regret of my life is I watched Fate/Zero first before Fate/Stay Night.

To anyone who want to start watch Fate Series: START WITH FATE/STAY NIGHT THEN FATE/ZERO!!!

The main story of F/SN is epic and kind of edgy but then I realized that ‘edginess’ is fading away because of a thing called fate/grand order with the meme supplies. Note that I don’t aware about existence of FGO before 2017.

I watched Fate/Zero in late 2016 after my first semester in uni ended andddd THE FEELS. THE FEELS. I still can’t recover to this very day. Fate/Zero is extremely edgy on par with SNK with no comedic aspect and unnecessary fanservices at all but I still like it especially the historical setting since I’m a historical nerd. Thank God Type Moon is kind of generous, even when F/GO kinda ruined the main plot’s message, it still has really good main story and we got anime and manga and some others!!

Downside about having this much of source material and fanbase is the ‘tumblr community’ became isn’t that strong, but only filled mostly by memes. Not that I’m complaining tho, but the fanmade stuff didn’t worth that much if you have so many official things, right. And the tagging is complicated. Also since FSN emerged from H VN expect some horny fans so I rate this entire fandom 8/10. Fate/Zero alone is 10/10, Fate/Stay Night UBW is 8,5/10. F/GO is.. well.

That’s all. Actually I watched a lot of anime after watch SAO (so people saying “sao is my first anime!!1!” stuff is pretty much right?) but they don’t really leave impressions. I watched KnY but I’m not that impressed like I did with those titles so yeah, last anime that makes my heart racing is Fate.

notes - this is the first fic I've done based on a song i hope you all like it Story -

Tired blue boy walks my way, Holding a girls hand. that basic bitch leaves finally, now i can take her man

You had been sat in pops talking with Archie about his newest song something he’d written about Jason blossom. It was incredible how he could write a song so well and fast. Veronica sat humming to herself learning her notes and lyrics. The ding of the bell made you look up seeing Jughead wearing his signature Gray beanie he was never without. You loved Jughead Jones but never told him as he never seemed interested in you and fearing if you told him your feelings he’d stop being friends. He saw you, smiling when he did, you smile back before seeing Betty behind him holding his hand as they walk to the booth you were sat at. You all squashed up making room for the couple. Pop brought over milkshakes and fries for you all.

Betty and Veronica had been talking about a charity dance at the school for the past hour, still insure on a theme. Archie asking if he could perform now having found his confidence to perform in front of a crowd. Both you and jug rolled your eyes, not bothered about school social activities chatted about his book. You had offered to help him in any way you could, you mainly went with him when he wanted to talk to people about the night Jason disappeared, or read what he’d wrote giving your feedback. The two girls left to go gather and sort out decorations, Archie wanted to see Valarie work on a new song for the dance and ask if the Pussycats were willing to perform too.

“drive in?” jug asked you with a smile. You nodded, happy to get away from the planning of the dance. “please” you said in a mocking exaggerated way like you were dying of boredom. You grabbed your stuff walking towards the door waving bye to pop.

Someone told me stay away from things that aren’t yours But was he yours, if he wanted me so bad?

Outside you waited for Jug as Archie asked him for a word before you both left. Betty forgot her bag and ran back in you stood with Veronica. The raven-haired girl eyed you suspiciously, “you do know they're going out now right?” Veronica said with a hint of sarcasm. You looked confused at her “yes, of course, I do why would you ask me that” you say back quite defensively. Ronnie stepped forward-looking in the window of pops to see where her friend was, “because you're always with him when she calls or visits, you're always there or he has plans with you! Also, don’t you think going back to Juggies alone is something you should do now he has a girlfriend?” her tone was accusing and her body language threatening but you didn’t let it bother you. Instead you smirked “look me and jug have been best friends since forever I don’t think Betty has anything to worry about” you stepped closer looking Ronnie right in the eye “and if Betty has a problem with me watching a movie with Jughead just like I have done for the past 10 years then she can come and tell me” you walked away smiling at Betty as she left pops. You stood on your toes seeing jug and Archie talking so sat on the wall listing to your music waiting for your them.

Archie waited for Betty to leave before he spoke: “jug I’m happy for you and Betty but are you sure that’s who you truly want?” Jughead looked at his mate confused, although he knew exactly what Archie was talking about he didn’t want to have the conversation. “why are you asking me that?” jug quizzed still intrigued to what the redhead meant. “since the 3rd grade you have had a crush on y/n and all of a sudden your loved up with Betty” Archie paused to think of what to say next “because if I didn’t know any better I’d say this was a way to make y/n jealous but you know your only going to push her away”. Jughead closed his eyes he knew everything Archie was saying had some truth he did love y/n but couldn’t keep crushing on her and be friends, the reason he was with Betty was to try shut down any feels for the beautiful y/h/c girl. “it’s not like that look there waiting let’s go” jug sternly told his friend walking to the doorway heading home you followed not sure if you should ask what had been said.

You sat with jug as and watched your favourite movie one you had both watched a thousand times but still loved, as one of your favorite parts came up you both looked at each other acting out the lines. It had been an hour and Betty had messaged jug at least 8 times. Jughead had looked but not replied to any, pressing pause on the movie you turned to him “what’s wrong?” you say knowing something was off with him. Jug tried to play it cool, “nothing,” he said giving you a smile trying to take the remote back to play the rest of the movie. Pulling your arm back so he missed you looked him in the eyes “so why did you have a face like a smacked ass when you left pops or blanking Betty’s messages” you laugh hoping he would tell you what was in his mind. Jughead huffs “she wants to go to this dance as a couple and then to Cheryl’s house after”. He mimics Betty “the whole school will be there and I want to show off my boyfriend”. You both start laughing at it, “oh just go! you kind of have to now your dating and under the thumb can’t say no” you teased tried your hardest to hide the hurt or jealousy in your voice. Jughead rolled his eyes “I’m not under anything” you raised your eyebrows “look just go keep her happy it will shut her up, and me and Archie will be there too besides you can’t say no to the girl next door” you order more then tell him.

Jughead nodded taking his phone calling Betty “hello” he said waiting for her to talk “okay I’ll go the stupid dance but I’m not going to Cheryl’s party it’s not happening” he said smirking at you to show that she can’t always boss him around, you couldn’t hear what Betty said but Jugheads face frowned “yeah I love you too”you froze at his fast mumbled words, you weren’t ready to hear that, it was hard enough trying to except them together, seeing them hold hands without hearing him tell her he loved her. You watched as he listened again to his blonde girlfriend he tugs and plays with his hair and ear, you had known jug over ten years it was something he only did when he was lying. A little bit of hope sparked inside you had he just lied when he told her he loved her you thought watching him say goodbye. You both sat back to watch the movie, you looked up at him gazing at the small TV screen thinking how gorgeous he was wishing you could tell him how you really felt.

I can’t stand her whining Where’s her binky now? And loving her seems tiring So boy, just love me, down, down, down

The dance had been what every dance at school was like, music laughing some drinking. You had had a nice time you danced with Archie Veronica and even Jughead looked happy for the first time in weeks. Tired you went and sat with him, “she not made you dance yet?” you ask getting you drink. “no so don’t jinx me” he laughed watching Betty dance with Veronica. The night was almost over Betty had finally asked and gotten jug to dance to which he looked miserable during. You sat laughing and pulling tongues at him when he looked at you, but you truly hated the sight of them slow dancing. After the song, the whole group came back talking about Cheryl’s party. Archie, Betty, and Veronica were all talking jug into going. “come jug come with us” Archie’s voice shouted over the music “it’s not my thing” he grumbled. Betty sat with her hand on his leg “please it’s not going to be the same without you there” she winked at him. Jug looked at her really not wanting to go but knew he’d never get out of it agreed, he looked at you as you rolled your eyes laughing into your drink.

The girls left the table to go and help set the stage for the pussycats big finish. Val came over to tell Archie Josie had agreed to sing one of his songs before there’s. Archie jumped up to get his guitar leaving you alone with jug. You laughed shaking your head at him, “your so under the thumb” you said before mimicking Jugheads voice “I’m not going to Cheryl’s party” jug just smiled at you “what are you laughing for your coming too” he said making your face drop. “and why would I do that?” you asked “because while one of us is distracting everyone the other can look around for clues to what happened to Jason” he smirked. He was right it was the best and only chance you both had to get inside blossom manor, while jug was with Betty you could sneak about and find something for Jughead’s book.

You danced and sang with jug, Betty and Veronica to Archie’s song and once the Pussycats were finished you all headed to Cheryl’s after party. The party at the blossoms was different to the dance at school all rules where out, everyone was drinking and partying. You had tried to escape to look around but each time you had been seen by someone who wanted to talk or was already going that way. Even Jughead was having a hard time finding a way to escape Betty. “let’s play a game!” you heard Cheryl’s voice boom over everyone. Groaning you sat with your friends as Cheryl called everyone over. “7 minutes in heaven is always a fun game” she said with a evil twisted smile. You knew Cheryl that smile meant trouble, though you didn’t expect you to be a target tonight. After 3 pairs had already been picked you desperately wanted to leave, you didn’t care about clue hunting or juggies book. “y/n andddd” you froze when you heard the redhead say your name, she extended the sound of the ‘and’ as she looked for a partner “Wednesday Addams” you heard Reggie shout as he walked out of the closet with Ethel. “yes y/n and Jughead” Cheryl squeals with delight.

You looked at jug who didn’t really know what to do, he stood up to leave but Reggie and two other boys stood in the way of the door. “your not leaving until you’ve played” Cheryl sassed at him.

Jughead looked at Betty who sadly smiled at him, “just go juggle it’s 7 minutes with your friend what’s the worst that can happen” she said in her sweetly voice. Jug rolled his eyes walking to the cupboard you quietly stood up following him. You wasn’t going to lie you wanted something like this to happen for years, you and Jughead matched up in childish game to maybe have a chance to kiss him, show or tell him how you felt, but you couldn’t help but feel disappointed that he was going out with Betty so anything you had always wanted to do was now off the cards.

The door slammed behind you as you squeezed in. It was clear something was up with him “what are we even doing here” he mumbled to himself, you laughed “playing 7 minutes in heaven I think” you smirked at him. Jug smiled back at you moving a little find room in the small space. His phone buzzed in his pocket, Betty had texted him but annoyed he didn’t read it but looked angry she was messaging him after less then a minute. “you know if you're unhappy with her you can just end it” you say looking at his eyes lit up by the phone light. He frowned at you “why who says I’m unhappy?” He asked. You smirk at him “how about your face, body language” judgment looked confused “don’t give that look” you whisper shouted at him “you look sick and tired all the time you have a look of annoyance when she texts you if your happy then your not only lying to Betty and your friends but to yourself as well” you said annoyed turning to walk out thinking screw what Cheryl or anyone else says. You stopped when you felt jug grab your arm, “wait your right I’m lying” he admitted low.

Turning folding your arms to hear what else he had to say, he pulled off his beanie fiddling with the button, “I like Betty I do, but she’s not the girl I love” he said looking nervous, you made a small huh noise. The confusion was clear on your face it made Jughead chuckle “for someone so smart you can be so dumb” he stepped closer to you, in his mind he knew if he didn’t say anything now he never would “it's you y/n your the girl I love” before you could speak his lent down and kissed you.

In that second you forgot everything that was going on his words running in your mind, it was everything you had dreamed of and more. Moving your arms around him pulling him closer in the lowest whisper to say “I love you too” then kiss him back more intensely then his.

Neither of you heard Cheryl shout “time” or the door open. You and Jughead quickly pulled apart from your kiss when the sudden flash of light and sound of gasps or whoops came from everyone looking. The first face you saw was Betty’s, her bottom lip quivers as she stirred blankly at you both. “I always said jug and y/n was endgame,” Kevin said louder then he meant too. Betty ran out of the room and upstairs to Polly’s room. Instead of running after her jug just put his hat back on and left with Archie running after him.

You walked out of the closet with Cheryl’s saying something you didn’t really hear. You sat on the chair with your head in your hands, Veronica came over and sat next to you and quietly spoke “I thought you were only friends I told you the other day they were a thing and Betty loved him” her voice was calm but angry like it was a warning of some form. “leave it out Veronica” you said You could hear Reggie shouting across the room “you can kiss me like that any day y/n” with that you stood up to leave.

Archie finally caught up with Jughead at the front door. “jug, man what’s going on what was that?” he asked his friend. Jug paced up and down frustrated with himself torn between his feelings “I don’t know” was all he said back taking more steps “Betty saw what I’m I going to do” he blurted out looking at his friend for advice “I don’t know who you want to be with is only something you can answer” Archie told him sincerely. Jug sat on a chair hiding his face in his beanie “I like Betty she’s kind, sweet but y/n, is amazing funny gets me knows what I want before I do. Truly makes me smile, she’s…. ” Archie finished his sentence “the girl you’ve only ever wanted” jug nodded knowing what Archie said was true. Betty walked down the stairs with a pregnant Polly close behind her she had heard what the boys had said feeling crushed but not surprised by her boyfriend's revelation. The jug was thinking of what to say to Betty how to apologize when you walked out. You stopped waiting for someone to move or speak, Betty walked down the remaining steps, “you have to choose Jughead” she said looking at him. Jug stood there looked between you both wishing the ground would open swallowing him up. He looked at Betty and was about to speak, you couldn’t stand there and watch him choose her over you, you could feel your eyes filling up so before anyone could see you cry you ran out the blossoming home without hearing what he said.

Back inside Jughead watched y/n run out he could see her crying as she ran past. “Betty I’m really sorry,” he said. Betty closed her eyes nodding knowing that he did love y/n. Jughead looked at Archie who waved his hands telling Jughead to go after y/n. He ran outside and couldn’t see you anywhere, walking towards the gate he spun around looking feeling pissed at himself for upsetting you. He took his phone out his pocket finding your number, calling it. You saw his call but didn’t answer it, you couldn’t talk to him in the broken mess you felt. Jughead heard your ringtone and followed the sound finding you sitting on the grass, leaned against a tree. At first, he didn’t speak just quietly sat next to you. Wiping your face you didn’t look up at him, you looked at the ground trying to stop the silent tears. “if you had stayed you would of heard my answer” he said looking at you waiting for you to look back at him. when you did he was smiling, you felt his hand rest over yours curling his fingers around “you I chose you y/n, I’ve always wanted you to be mine” you widen your eyes searching for any hint of a lie. When you didn’t answer he bent forward kissing you “y/n will you be mine?” He asked as he gently rubbed his nose across yours “yes” you say giving him a small kiss back. Jughead stood up and held out his hand helping you up “wanna get out of here?” He said more than asked, “definitely” you smile wide, he put his arm around your shoulder as you both walked home.

elora gorge

last weekend, i went to elora gorge with a few of my friends. while we were there we decided to go tubing in the gorge. this activity - while it is an official activity that you pay for and get a hand band and everything is not entirely supervised (which is why you sign a waiver as well, releasing anyone of any responsibility).

it’s fine; and safe in that i don’t believe anyone has drowned/died or been seriously injured as a result of it. the water is mostly shallow and they ask that everyone going wears a helmet and a pfd (they’ll rent one if you don’t bring your own) as a requirement.

when we went, i was fine on the tube; at one point the water got really shallow and because i had jammed myself in the tube i scraped my back against the rocks so that was tough but up to a certain point i was fine. understand; the water is shallow and some points and slightly deep and others and it’s running river water (grand river, i believe). so i made it through some of the rough areas where there’s rocks and slight ups and downs; but at one place i was ejected from my tube.

oh. my. god. my fear as i fell into the deep-ish water with the current - my mouth was open so i swallowed water and my eyes were open too and instant panic overtook my body. even though there’s one instructor at the begin who even told us that if we were to fall out of the tube - NOT to panic. to not try and search for the floor and just float along because we were after all wearing pfds and eventually we’d come back to deep water.

but in my panic of being under water and completely drenched i forgot all that - and worst i let my tube float away. anyway i did end up getting out although for a few minutes i was being swept by the current of the water and those minutes or seconds or however long they were, i felt like i would just wash up ashore dead.

this was, of course, a bit of melodramacy because i was like 5 steps for a little makeshift area where people were stopped. a bunch of people fell out of their tubes at the same area so there was a little rocky way off to the side where they stopped to rest before getting back on. most of the people who fell out, though, managed to get back on their tubes :p or save them.

in any case; so i sat for a few moments just in the water collecting myself and letting go of my panic. and then when i finally realized i’d have to do something and i couldn’t sit there forever i started walking. you see, it being an unsupervised gorge and all....there’s not really much of a way out of there except by tube. so i walked on the sides; it was getting steeper and steeper until at one point i got to a place that i couldn’t walk anymore and there was again a path - across the river. which again seemed deep.

i stopped and just stood there watching people tube on by. i think i probably stopped for at least 20 minutes - maybe even 40. just watching people tube by thinking what i could possibly do to get myself across the river. as i was standing there, a couple came by. herb and shirley. herb had also lost his tube, but shirley had only fallen out of hers (because barb - her girlfriend - had gotten panicked and pulled at her sleeve and messed it up for her) so herb was carrying her tube for her.

shirley had had enough (sharing my sentiments there) and was no longer confident and wanted to go home. herb, thankfully, was calm and collected and tried every way to get us out. in the end we decided that shirley would ride the tube to cross the river (which she did successfully) and herb and i would hold hands for safety and just float to the other side.

he comforted me and told me he wouldn’t ever let me go and to trust him. and honest to god, i did trust him. we started walking and with every step the river got deeper and deeper and with every increasing depth level of the water the panic inside me rose.

the water was at my chest and the next step might have been the one where i could no longer feel the ground underneath my feet when i finally stopped herb and said i couldn’t. i had so much panic and i just couldn’t. this led to more cajoling and assurance and i was just about to agree when two girls came right by next to us. these two girls were right next to each other and holding hands. so in that moment i decided i would try instead to hold on to their tubes. i asked herb if i could just do that instead of floating across and he said that was fine as long as i go in between the tubes.

the girls also agreed right away and so i did; i wedged myself between their tubes, hung on to either one (one girl was facing forward and one backward) and then we floated forward. again as the river became shallow i scraped my body against it a little but finally made it to the other end!

i thanked them profusely and herb and shirley and i met again and started walking forward as far as the little rocky path would take us.

i should mention, during this whole time my friends had already passed ahead of me and were probably wondering where i was/worried (as they told me later). you see, i had driven all of us and i had the car keys - which was where we kept all of our stuff, including, of course, our phones :p

in any case; so here we are herb, shirley, and i walking and talking on the other side of the river. i found out they’re from orangeville and they found out i was from caledon. what a small world! they were really nice people :)

and then we came to the end of that path again and noticed another little area on the other side of the river. this time, we all held hands and crossed the river because it didn’t get as deep as the previous stretch. and when we got there i noticed there was a couple there just taking pictures. what was remarkable about this couple, however, was that they were tube-less and completely dry. they did NOT get to that area by tube. which meant that there HAD TO BE WAY OUT!

so we called out to them and asked them and they pointed to the path they took that led them there. and then they hurried off. which was sort of rude of them; they could have made the same deduction i did. three wet, helmeted, pfd’ed people with one tube who they just saw crossing the river holding hands. they could have helped or offered more directions. instead they just walked off and IN A HURRY. shirley felt the same way and so did herb.

but anyway, seeing them there was all i needed and i started up the path. note; it was part of the foresty area and herb and shirley were fairly hesitant to follow me so i let them know that if they’d prefer - since herb was comfortable in the water and shirley had a tube, that they were more than welcome to go back to the water. for me though; i was fine just going along.

they were mostly just scared of getting lost at the jungle, which to be honest, didn’t even occur to me at the time. i was just happy to see land. anywho, so i started walking up the path (from which the previous couple had disappeared fairly quickly and were completely out of sight) and finally like two minutes up i saw camps where people had set up and we were back at the main road, 10 minutes away from the rental spot. i yelled back to herb and shirley who were following me but at a much slower pace since they were still deciding/figuring out what to do. and then we walked up together and finally that was that.

i went back to the car; drove to the end of where the tubing ended and found my friends and all was well =D we went to sushi for dinner in waterloo (so many cravings satisfied!)

so you can say i had a fairly eventful adventure that day. would i do it again? to be honest, sitting here in bed i would say yes; facing the water again in actual real life, though, might just make me go back on my word :p

but the whole while i was on the tube; oh man it was so amazing and the gorge is truly so beautiful. all you see if water, the sky above, and the walls of trees/earth on either side of you. it’s beautiful.

andddd that was that! OH also, one embarrassing thing - while we were walking herb and shirley at one point looked at my face and with concern lining their eyes asked if i had bumped up my face when i fell out of the tube. i said no, not that i can recall, but in the heat of the moment i might have and never noticed. i started feeling my face and they pointed to exactly where they saw a red mark and it looked like i had bumped into something.

turns out they were looking at my recently-exploded (popped) pimple. so that was great. super fun memories :p

[Elementary School] Do you still remember any dreams you had a a child? Like, sleep-dreams? I still remember some of the nightmares. I forget the weird ones as soon as I wake up. What was your favorite game to play back then? 10-20 served as my favorite for the longest time, but I did enjoy other games like PANTS (place, animal, name, thing, and the S stood for score lmao) and Twister. How many best friends did you make through the years? I only had one constant best friend who stuck with me through thick and thin. I wasn’t exactly the most sociable kid and I found it hard to make friends. How many enemies? A couple, but in my defense I only ever made enemies with kids who had a bit of an attitude and caused trouble for my nicer classmates. There was this one problematic kid that everyone had an issue with because of her rotten fucking attitude, but I think I was the only one brave enough to have beef with her (shoutout to the violence and fighting I saw in my own home). Our fights got big enough we ultimately got sent to the guidance office, hahaha. I also fought this kid who was a known bully, andddd I enjoyed making fun of one kid who was a notorious spoiled brat and would throw a tantrum when things weren’t going her way. Did anything tragic happen to you when you were little? Home stuff that are still burned into my brain, yeah. School was a little nice to me though, so it was always nice to be not in the house.

Did anything absolutely amazing happen? I wouldn’t say my childhood was amazing. It was just... barely decent. I was provided the essentials by my family - I was fed, given vitamins, sent to school, but I missed out on all the other stuff that I needed for my development. No one ever spent time with me at home, my attention competed with five other kids’, both parents were absent, cigarettes were the first thing I smelled in the morning and brandy was the last thing I smelled at night. I was kept safe and alive lmao, but I wouldn’t call the whole thing a blast. How was your relationship with your parents back then? Weak. They barely had time for us so they made up for it by always buying us the toys, books, and DVDs we wanted. I appreciate the alternative effort but it also meant never getting to build a healthy, trusted relationship with them. Did you believe in cooties? No, that’s definitely not a thing here. I only learned about cooties from watching Fairly OddParents lmao. Did you ever get a cootie shot? What was your favorite snack to eat? The cafeteria’s corndogs were SO so good, I was so bummed when they took it out. I was also introduced to kikiam by Sam, a close friend in Grade 1. Did you own any pets during this time? We had a few goldfish here and there, but my pet rabbit hung out for a while. What was your personality like? I was mostly shy. Wouldn’t budge, even if you approached me. What was your favorite song[s]? Idk, I didn’t have much of a music taste back then and just really vibed hard to the High School Musical and Camp Rock soundtracks hahahahaha. What kind of toys did you like to play with? I loved homemaker toys lmao. I was really into cash registers, and I’d also ask my mom to buy me makeup sets, kitchen sets, restaurant sets, cooking sets, and dollhouses whenever I see one I liked. But at the same time I grew up with boys, so I also enjoyed toy soldiers and Star Wars figurines. [Middle School/Junior High] How did your personality change from Elementary to Middle School? It took a turn for the worse, really. The fact that I was pretty aloof and already struggled to make friends was paired by two factors: puberty (and the self-hatred and identity crisis that come with it) and the adjustment of moving to a new house. Needless to say I failed to adapt and I was lost and empty for a bit. What was your favorite thing to do during this time? I mostly watched wrestling as a means to cope with the loneliness. And it helped, a lot. That time is a blur to me now and I mostly forgot what else I had done to like, sustain myself lmao. Who were some of your closest friends? I had no friends and I sat alone for recess and lunch and walked by myself during dismissal. How often did you get involved with Middle School drama? Like, not at all. There was one rumor about me that managed to get out but literally no one cared about me to care about the rumor, so it fizzled out in like 5 seconds lmao. What kind of "clique" were you in? Or did you not beleive in cliques? We didn’t really have cliques, we just had friend groups everyone knew about. I was in none of them. How did people treat you? They mostly didn’t mind me. Like I didn’t cause trouble for anyone and never did anything bad – I just didn’t do anything. I was always quiet, a wallflower. I think nobody knew how to approach me, which I don’t blame them for. It was impossible to pry me open in those days. Do you look back on these years fondly? Did you hear how I just talked about that time? Lmao. What was your typical kind of lunch during school? This was around the time we just moved into our new house and my mom was adjusting as much as we were. Money was short as well so we had to contend with canned food, most of which I didn’t touch both because I didn’t like it and I was too depressed to eat. I practically starved my way through middle school, now that I think about it. What school[s] did you go to? I went to the same school for preschool, grade school, and high school. Was it really as bad as some people say Junior High is? I didn’t get junior high. Did you like to read? Yes. My favorites during this time were the Septimus Heap and Percy Jackson series. I also started reading Gone with the Wind thanks to Gab, and Les Mis because of the movie that had come out. What was one good memory you have of this time? Meeting Gabie. It made all the loneliness go away, and it was nice to finally have a friend who just talked to me and acknowledged and minded me.

Were you still enemies with someone from elementary school? Yeah, this was around the time I cut ties for Marielle because she was a dick. If you could go back and change one thing, what would you change? I’d remove the depression, obviously. [High School] Are you still in High School? Nope. I graduated exactly four years ago. Welp, it’s 1:59 AM so it’s technically four years and one day now.

Who were some of your close friends? I was (FINALLY) in a friend group in high school – Angela, Sofie, Athenna, Fern, Kaira, and Chelsea were there. We also merged with a certain friend group from one of the all-boys schools – Dave, Aaron, Raf, Jez, Jedric, Hans, Luis, Rap, and sometimes MJ were in that group. Who were some of your enemies? Nah, no more enemies. I let myself FLOURISH during this time lmfaoooo. How did your personality change from the previous years? I was definitely happier. I had best friends, close friends, and was in a friend group; this was also the time I realized high school grades aren’t worth shit in the real world, so I stopped putting much pressure on myself to perform well, and to just let loose and enjoy my time in high school, because I wasn’t ever going to get those years back. Going in, did you really think they were going to be the best four years ever? I HAD to have hope in it, because grade school made me miserable enough. I kept thinking there was no way my rock bottom could get even rockier, so I was just weirdly, forcibly optimistic about it. If that makes sense. Were they? [or are they if you're still in High School] The latter half of high school was definitely some of the best times. I was still adjusting in freshman and sophomore year. What's one memory of High School can you look back on and grin? The day Zayn Malik left One Direction, all the Directioners in my batch met up at the corridor and started crying and hugging one another. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Did you ever cry while you were in school? Yeah, mostly when I got failing marks. How was your love life? It did okay by the time I was in junior year, which is around the time it usually gets good for people in my school anyway. How was your social life? So much better. Gabie’s friendliness with everyone highkey helped me find my own rhythm in making friends, and soon enough I was talking to people. Did you have any teachers that you just absolutely loved? Sure. Did you have any teachers that you just absolutely despised? Yup. How were/are your GPA? We don’t have that here but my general average when I graduated high school was like a 93. Did you know anyone who got pregnant? No, no one got pregnant while in high school. I have batchmates who are moms now, though. [There's no time like the present] Do you currently have a job? No, not yet. And honestly this coronavirus might stall me from getting a job just yet haha. I was so ready to apply by June or July but since the term might be extended to make up for the lost classes, I might not be able to follow that schedule anymore. What kind of job do you *want* to have? I’d like to be in PR. I did an internship in it and it was so fun and so much better than journ. What do you like to do on your free time? There’s a variety of stuff. I like eating out, spending time with my dog, going to the mall, going to museums, doing surveys, watching TV shows, watching on YouTube, reading articles. What's your relationship with your parents now? A little better, partly because I’ve found my own voice through the years and I’ve learned to take no shit from them – I was very submissive when I was a teenager, just to compare. Do you own any pets? Yes, my dog who has been with me for 12 years now. How many places have you traveled to? A buuuuuuuuuunch. Do you own a cell phone? If so, what kind? I can’t tell you about movies, but I just finished BoJack Horseman which was a brilliant fucking piece of television. Are you happy where you are right now? I’m satisfied, but I can’t call myself happy yet.
