When Johna Ramirez’s son joined a wildly popular circle of tween YouTube influencers, it seemed like he was fulfilling his Hollywood dreams. But in the Squad, fame and fortune came at a cost. Issue no. 135 — “Crushed.” by Nile Cappello — is now live at The Atavist.
Gen Z is the first generation to never know life without the internet, and they watch a lot of YouTube. By 2020, according to Pew Research, 89 percent of parents with a child between five and eleven reported that their kids watched videos on the platform; 81 percent with three- and four-year-olds, and 57 percent with a child age two or under, said the same thing. But YouTube’s youngest users aren’t just interested in watching music videos, reruns of Paw Patrol, and old episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants. They like content made by creators they can relate to—ones who look and act like them.
YouTube has given Gen Z their own form of reality television: They can watch other kids be silly with their friends, try on clothes, play with toys and games, and get famous in the process. In 2015, the year before Piper joined YouTube, three-year-old Ryan Kaji began posting unboxing videos on his channel Ryan’s World. Kaji opened new toys in front of the camera, inviting young viewers to vicariously experience his excitement. In 2017, Forbes ranked Kaji as the ninth-highest-earning YouTuber, reporting that he made $11 million that year. Two years later, Kaji made $26 million and shot to the number one spot.
Adults might not understand the appeal of watching a video of Kaji tearing into a Lego set or Piper making slime in her kitchen for the same reason young kids are unlikely to grasp the popularity of The Bachelor: The content isn’t made for them. But the viewers it is made for can’t get enough of it.
Building on the success of her first video, Piper made more YouTube content and attracted more followers. With visibility came opportunities. Piper and Tiffany began taking trips to Los Angeles, where they filmed videos with fellow “kidfluencers” and visited the Walk of Fame and other Hollywood landmarks. According to fan pages, Piper became the fastest “Muser,” or app user, to reach 750,000 followers on Musical.ly, where she posted videos of herself dancing and performing comedy skits.

Wonderful Things That May Or May Not Be Wonderful I have written about many things on this wonderful blog but one thing I have not written about and had no intention of writing about is people. Outside of a few R.I.P.s, I wanted to stay away from praising people themselves and focus on the work that those people have given us. But, now, I’m breaking that rule. Why? Well, for a couple of years, I’ve known about a YouTube channel called Schaffrillas Productions run by a man named James Phyrillas. I’ve watched many of his videos or had them playing in the background while I’ve worked or drawn, especially nowadays. His videos introduced me to musical theater, re-introduced me to how great the Shrek franchise actually is (minus the Third), his YouTube Poops made me laugh so gosh darn hard and much more. Heck, I even respect how after his big Disney Ranking video, he started highlighting other creators with differing opinions to his. That’s pretty admirable. I was excited to see what he’d do next. And then, last night, after seeing a thumbnail that said “So about Schaffrillas…” I decided out of paranoia to check the guy’s Twitter and…I found out that just that day, he was in a car crash. A car crash that put him in critical condition and killed both his best friend and co-creator, Chris, and his brother and collaborator, Patrick. Last time, I checked James is currently alive and stable but ...that stings. I…have difficulty processing it. I can’t even imagine what he must be going through. I can scarcely imagine what those closest to him, Patrick and Chris must be going through. I do not know James personally but through me consuming the content he has created, I feel that I’ve formed a bond with him and I know that the mixture of shock, fear and sadness that I am feeling is real. I’m sure that millions could say the same thing about James or any other content creator they’ve watched. I hope he gets better. I hope his loved ones get better. I truly, truly hope everyone involved in this tragedy gets better regardless of what happens after. I know this may not mean much but James, you are wonderful and so were Chris and Patrick. Rest in peace and my deepest condolences. As for what video I wish to link, I’m going to go with the first video of his that I ever watched: Why Shrek 2 is a Perfect Sequel. Watch if you’d like and if you do like, there are many other videos to check out.
youtube
After some thought, I'd also like to link the video "Why Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is a Perfect Adaptation" since it's a video that James and his brother did together.

top 5 youtubers :)
omg sorry I'm answering this a little late but I have my list! I feel it's worth noting though that, to make this list slightly easier, I made this a list of my current favorites and not necessarily my favorites of all time because omg that's so much harder to think about lol. Also not including watcher in this list because that's a given.
5: GTlive
As much as I love good ol'game theory, the live channel is where it's at. The sheer unhinged chaos and squaking laughter is unmatched. Also I feel like ever since Ash joined (who is the tech behind the camera) they've added an even more fun, rambly chaotic energy to it. Highly recommend their playthroughs of Bad End Theater, What Remains of Edith Finch, and Trombone Champ (which is an absolutely bonkers game in itself). Super fun.
4: Kurtis Conner
Folks 👏 he's one of my favorite commentary youtubers and his series on the barbie and bratz movies are some of my favorites. Also all his videos with Andrew and his video with Drew Afualo are absolutely top tier.
3: Brittany Broski & Sara Schauer (because they kinda go as a pair in this instance)
All of their videos together make me die of laughter, and it's not super often that I legitimately die like that. An absolute MUST is their Zillow Gone Wild series where they go through some of the strangest houses listed on zillow. Brittany's medieval times video is also hilarious and Sarah's lego land video is *chefs kiss* if you're looking for another incredible youtube duo, they're the best.
2: Cinema Therapy
Speaking of youtube duos, this is another great one. It's a channel based around a therapist and a film-maker taking a look at some great films and looking at them through a psychological and film-making lense. Just super wholesome and informative at the same time. They are the internets dads :) some of my favorite episodes are their harley quinn episode, their twilight series, and most recently, their muppet christmas carol episode.
1: Jacksepticeye
Aah yes, the irish goblin himself :) Seán's got not only some great playthroughs and commentary on some great games, but he recently put out some really big cinematic projects like The Iris Project, and raised over 10 million dollars for charity for Thankmas! Just such a comfort youtuber. Some of my favorite playthroughs are his God of War playthrough, The Closing Shift playthrough, Elden Ring playthrough, and his Observation Duty series he has with Gab smolders.
Thank you sm for this ask Mariah! This was legitimately so fun!! Would love to know your list btw 'cause I'm looking for new creators to watch 👀

Week 9: Gaming Communities, Social Gaming and Live Streaming
Especially in terms of its social aspects, video game culture has been steadily evolving over the past few decades. The video game industry has grown at a pace that puts it in direct competition with bigger names in the entertainment sector around the globe, despite the fact that it is just 40 years. On top of that, the video game industry is huge and seen as innovative due to the way it blends entertainment, technology, and culture (Sadakshi Kalyan Ramun, 2023). Thanks to "mobile technology" in the modern period, the gaming industry has evolved and reached a new demographic. It has now permeated "modern popular culture" to the point where "42% of Americans are gamers" (Chikhani, R, 2015). For instance, people of various ages must be conversant with Minecraft. The 91 million users around the world can't get enough of Minecraft, which is like an online Lego universe where you can construct anything you can imagine with blocks.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
People that share an interest in a certain genre, style, or type of game come together to form gaming communities. More people than ever before are able to enjoy and participate in online gaming. Certain games have social features that allow players to meet other players from all around the world, form teams, and generally have a great time. Here players may share stories about their favourite games, offer one other advice on difficult tasks, and find new ways to do things. In a lot of games, working together is key. Joining a guild or other online community allows players to work together towards common goals, where they can strategize, collaborate, and practice their cooperation skills. With the rise of live-streaming Esports events to massive audiences in addition to the physical ones, a new social ecology has emerged, resembling that of broadcast professional sports in several respects (2018). Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook Live have given gamers a place to show off their skills and meet other people who share their passion. Half or more of the platform's users spend twenty hours or more each week watching other users play video games. The loyal user base is the key selling point of the site, according to many. As a result of this widespread participation, gaming becomes more of a social medium, with communities emerging around individual games, broadcasters, and the medium itself.
Tumblr media
Even while gaming is merely a pastime for some, it may be a great method to meet new people and strengthen existing friendships (Sturart, K., 2013). Gamers offer a "playful space" where they can avoid physically tolerating bad behaviour, but certain users will inevitably "attract hateful [and] damaged" content (Sturart, K, 2013). Many people have found a creative outlet in game production, driven by the love of playing video games. Thanks to freely available technologies like Unity and Microsoft Visual Studio, indie game production has thrived, driven by programmers and amateurs. The growth of the gaming business, which provides players all over the globe with exciting and novel experiences, is a direct result of this creative explosion.

Fan Builds Minecraft Piston out Of Lego
Minecraft is a sandbox gaming game where you can build amazing items to display to your friends. Lego is a physical toy where you spend large sums of money to make something once, and then display it forever to show your appreciation for whatever it is you built. Both have a lot common the realm of creativity. It's not a surprise that they often cross paths.
It results in a plethora of interesting things, including this fantastic zombie design by Cirelectric on Reddit. The smoothed-out figures make the zombies sort of cute, even if they're still searching for brains. This also means that people will go out of their way in real life to build amazing things, like this Minecraft piston from RJMBricks.
YouTuber RJMBricks specializes in Lego builds. He has created an earthquake simulator as well as a driving sim. This time they've built an operational Minecraft piston. This is a staggering feat of planning, brickwork and work. RJMBricks even employs different colors to mimic the game version to make the textures appear authentic.
It's fascinating to see how it works. RJMBricks had to figure out how to make the piston move. Djw360 The design challenge caused problems with Lego pieces actually becoming warped due to the immense weight of the components.
The video has been extremely well-liked. RJMBricks shared that they had 38.875 subscribers when the video was released on 24 April. The video has been watched over 2.2 million times, and the channel has nearly tripled the number of subscribers to 94.8k at the time of writing. It's always nice when your hard work is recognized.
If you're more interested in Minecraft-related projects than the other, you might want to look at this Pac-Man videogame by a YouTuber. It's definitely creepy.

Why is it why it is Popular?
Minecraft
Minecraft is one of the most played games on the planet with more than 140 million monthly players in 2021.
How does Minecraft work and how safe is it for children to use? Here's everything you need.
What is Minecraft?
Minecraft is an online "sandbox" game. Players build their own virtual worlds and experiences with building blocks or resources. You have to begin by advancing through basic resources before moving to more complicated ones, but you are able to eventually build your world the way you want.
Although the price range varies little depending on the platform you're using, Minecraft is never going cost more than PS25 and this higher cost includes all mods (community created improvements to the game) and skins (aesthetic features to a character). You can play on a computer, smartphone, tablet, XBox, Nintendo Switch or Playstation.
You can play in either a single player or multiplayer mode. In the multiplayer mode, players work together to create their Minecraft world.
Join our newsletter to receive the best of Parent Zone directly to your inbox Find out more
Why is it so popular?
Minecraft is a completely free-form game. It doesn't come with a set of instructions or a defined goal - players can construct and explore as they like. It is often compared to virtual Lego.
This means that Minecraft fans have a lot of freedom in the way they play. You can design your own fantasy world or create one from scratch. minecraft-servers.space You can also battle villains and seek adventure.
It is also played at any level. In many popular games, you require a certain amount of skill to be able to take on the next challenge. This can be a challenge for younger children who don't always have the abilities or unrestricted time to make progress in a game. In Minecraft, children can create their own adventures at any level of play.
What should parents be aware of?
Age restrictions
Different Minecraft versions have different age restrictions. Certain mods might have more violence than others. It's important to keep in mind that Minecraft includes a chat feature. Age ratings range from 7+ to 13+.
Minecraft's standard terms and conditions state that children under 13 years old must have parental permission to play. In the UK If children under the age of 13 play Minecraft without parental consent, it is a violation of the site's terms and condition but it's not illegal.
Despite the age limit, Minecraft is very popular with primary school children. It's not a problem for youngsters.
Chat functions
There are two distinct chat functions in Minecraft; Realms and server chats. Realm chat is hosted by game's creators, Mojang and moderated by Mojang. They moderate it. Server chat is set up by players. Typically, players invite friends to join their Minecraft server and chat with them, but some players offer an open invitation, which allows anyone to join.
Remind children of the risks associated with talking to people they don't know online.
Remember that players could also be chatting via discord, or any other chat platform with different security settings. Remind children not to move onto other platforms to communicate with other people.
Chat features allow children to communicate with others who share similar desires in gaming. There is no way to know who these people might be. Recommendation: Young children shouldn't engage in chat with other players during games unless they are familiar with them.
It is also crucial that children do not divulge any personal information, or transfer their conversations to other online areas that could be considered private.
YouTube videos on Minecraft
Many Minecraft users love watching fan-made YouTube videos to improve and discover new methods.
A lot of them are appropriate for children. Minecraft does not have any explicit content, but certain videos feature spiders, monsters, trolls and zombies, which some kids might find frightening. Some of the videos include commentary that includes sexual references, while others discuss or even encourage bullying. These videos might be suitable for you.
Try searching for 'profanity free Minecraft servers'. It might be worthwhile to check the videos before children see them.
You can also turn on YouTube's Safety Modeto stop content that is inappropriate for children.
Listen to Parent Zone's podcast, Tech Shock.
Reporting functions
Minecraft currently does not provide an instant report function. Your child should be careful when joining an online server. If your child plays with an older age group, they might receive insulting language or make rude remarks. Minecraft reserves the right to suspend any player who violates the terms and conditions.
You can make a complaint about players by visiting Minecraft's helpdesk, and then submitting a complaint. This could be something an adult should take on rather than a child since it's a bit complicated.
You can be a victim of any user who is breaking the rules to a moderator who can ban them.
Have you noticed something that doesn't appear like it's right? You can email [email protected] to submit comments and feedback.

Why Should You Animate Your Business Story?
Tumblr media
Telling your businesses’ story is important. It humanises your brand for customers and gives people a better insight into your company. But how to do it?
Animation is a powerful medium for storytelling, and a well-crafted story is ideal to build brand loyalty and B2C relationships. Consumers are less interested in listening to ordinary promotional messages and prefer to watch videos that tell compelling personal or brand stories. The ideal way to do that is with an animated video. Animated videos allow you to experiment with various styles and effects and puts no limitations on your imagination.
What is a Businesses’ Story?
Creating an animated business story has a lot of benefits, so let’s explore a few of them. One of the best reasons to create a video is to show off your company’s accomplishments.
It’s a tough world for any business to survive in, and the older your company is the more impressive it becomes. It puts you ahead of your competitors. Won any awards that are hidden away at headquarters? Instead of taking them on a tour, talk about what made you a winner and set yourself even further apart from other contenders vying for their custom.
Taking your customers and clients through the story of your business humanises your brand, especially if you focus on the story of the company founders and other people instrumental to its development. This lets the audience forge an emotional connection to these people and become motivated to see the continued success of their business.
Animating your story also saves a lot of time. Instead of creating content for anniversaries and answering the same questions in business profiles and interviews, roll out the video. And don’t worry about it becoming outdated. The beauty of an animated story is that extra frames can be added over time as more accomplishments are accrued.
What Story to Tell?
The world is full of stories, and choosing the right one to tell is important. Businesses, big and small, have a lot of milestones and accomplishments behind them. So, what story should your animated video focus on?
01. A Tale as Old as Time
Been around the block a few times? An animated video can quickly encapsulate a company’s history, tracking every step from its foundation to its present activity. Showcasing your longevity will demonstrate to an audience that your company is here to stay; and highlighting your accomplishments will establish you as a forerunner in your field.
This can be a brief tour, such as this video by Kiehl’s, the American cosmetics brand. It explains its foundation then takes viewers through the introduction of new people and the creation of its most popular products.
youtube
Want something more in-depth. Look no further than The LEGO Story, a seventeen-minute long animated video which takes viewers along the entire journey of this company. It’s certainly too long for a television advert, but that hasn’t stopped the video getting 58 million views on YouTube.
youtube
02. Paint the Town…
Major overhaul? A change in directors, logo, name or branding? Transition your customers and clients through this rebrand with an animated video. Create a narrative which explains the reasoning for these changes and makes your audience excited to become a part of your company’s future.
Burger King launched its new logo and brand guidelines with a punchy video that showcased its new graphics, uniforms and chain interiors.
youtube
When delivery service Hermes rebranded to Evri, a massive campaign went out to publicise the name change and answer the inevitable questions for the reason behind it. The advert focused on customer service, as the business tried to leave its unfavourable brand reputation behind.
youtube
03. I Do Solemnly Swear
For Starbucks’ 50th anniversary, they launched a short video that took viewers through a brief visual tour of their past before focusing on their future commitments to sustainable products.
youtube
As public scrutiny on businesses grows, due to social media exposing their unsavoury practices, some companies have taken the opportunity to refocus their story to put them in a more favourable light. This could be like Starbucks, looking at environmental sustainability, but can also focus on other topics such as providing a living wage, a commitment to health and safety standards, or aligning with social movements. Apple has long committed to being an inclusive workspace, which is a story they tell in the following video.
youtube
04. Come Together
2023 marks the 100th anniversary of the Walt Disney Company. Its advertisements have largely focused on encompassing this vast company, rather than focusing on its history. By compiling references to the multiple studios Disney owns, this video shows the story of the world’s most successful media conglomerate.

Top games to be playing now
Which video games are people playing the most this year? There's no doubt that video games are fantastic and highly popular among people of all ages. Within the top 20, there are RPGs, first-person shooters, multiplayer battle royales, and fighting games
Super Smash Bros Ultimate
Super Smash Bros, like number nineteen on our list, is a cross-over fighting game that incorporates characters, stages, music, and titles from several Nintendo games. However, the 2018 Nintendo Switch version far outperforms the 3DS and Wii U versions. Nintendo said that Super Smash Bros.: Ultimate was the most preordered title for both the Nintendo Switch and the SSB series. After barely four months on the market, Ultimate had sold over 13.1 million copies worldwide, making it Nintendo's all-time best-selling game.
Tumblr media
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Seige
Ubisoft Montreal created the online tactical shooter game, which was released by Ubisoft. It was released in 2015 and is playable on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. In different gaming modes, such as defusing a bomb or rescuing a captive, you take control of either an attacker or a defender. There are no true campaigns to complete, although there are several brief missions you may play on your own accord. Rainbow Six Siege was named "Esports Title of the Year" at the Australian Games Awards in 2018.
Tumblr media
Minecraft
Minecraft is a sandbox computer game in which bricks are used to represent the environment and its components; think of it as virtual Legos. It was built in 2009 by the Mojang company's programmer Notch. It has now sold over 200 million copies and since 2020 has over 126 million users a month.
Tumblr media
Fortnite
Fortnite is free to download for anyone and is available on the Epic Games Store for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, select Android mobile devices and PC. Gamers can compete across various platforms, but the player controls differ. It is a battle and builds game full of strategic play and a colourful open world.
Tumblr media
Red Dead Redemption 2
The plot is set in a fictionalised version of the United States in 1899, and it follows the exploits of outlaw Arthur Morgan, a member of the Van der Linde gang, as he deals with the decline of the Wild West while fighting against government troops, opposing gangs, and other adversaries. This is a first-person shooter game that won the game award for best narrative in 2018 and the game award for best score and Music in 2018.
Tumblr media
It is clear that games that involve fighting and battling for 1st place are very popular. However, there is favour for games that involve strategic building and survival skills.

Lego Sales Leap As They Expand
Lego is a toymaker company that sells a line of plastic construction toys that are manufactured by The Lego Group.
Tumblr media
Lego sales have been rising tremendously due to the pandemic. This company was impacted in a positive way by the pandemic, having a 17% revenue increase. Lego continues to succeed post pandemic and gain market share. Lego’s market share is 7.6% which is currently putting them at the top of all toy companies.
Tumblr media
Lego’s strategy to continue production and provide for their consumers’ needs without the cost of production effecting this negatively, they have placed many manufacturing plants near their important markets. Instead of the U.S. closest manufacturer being in Mexico, they are opening one in Virginia.
Lego’s bigger and more complex Lego sets have become most popular and there is high demand for them. The implementation of closer manufacturing plants will also offset these costs. People are demanding these certain building sets.
Lego is always looking to expand its operations everywhere. They are currently in 130 countries and continuing to look for more opportunities for growth. They are looking to move into China and the large cities that demand their products. This strategy has helped the company and they saw an increase in sales.
Another strategy that Lego is diversification. This is a very important part of their marketing strategy. Innovation has been a big part of helping their company grow and apply to all target markets. Lego was originally more of a boyish brand, so most of their consumers were boys. They then innovated and made a line that was targeting girls. The company partnered with popular brands to broaden their consumer base and drive higher sales.
They are popular on all social media like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. They use these to engage with consumers and consumers parents. The social medias platforms offer similar content for the different users on the platforms. The Facebook page has 13 million followers.  While YouTube is the most popular platform for Lego. They have 10.04 billion views in 2020. These platforms offer educational and helping videos that are important for both young and older crowds. They have partnerships that extend into the educational aspect of it. This factor allows children to use their imagination. They have a Lego foundation which has put $24 million in aid for education in multiple countries.
Tumblr media
There are many questions moving forward with Lego. Will Lego continue to grow now that pandemic life is coming to an end? Will their net sales slow down? Will Lego continue to grow internationally or will these stats start to level out? How will they continue to improve innovation to stay relevant?
I enjoy watching the success of a company who was popular when I was little and watching them become great again.

This is a problem for young children who may not have the skills or time needed to make progress in an activity. In Minecraft, children can create their own adventures at any level of play.
What do parents need to be aware of?
Age restrictions
Different Minecraft versions have different age restrictions. Certain mods could have more violence than others. It's also worth keeping in mind that Minecraft has an in-game chat feature. The age ratings vary from 7+ to 13+.
The standard version of Minecraft's terms and conditions states that under-13s need parental permission to play. In the UK, if children under the age of 13 play Minecraft without permission it is a breach of the terms and conditions of the site however it isn't illegal.
Minecraft is extremely popular among elementary school kids despite the age limit. There's nothing in the game itself that's inappropriate for kids.
Chat functions
There are two chat functions in Minecraft; Realms and server chats. Mojang, the game developers hosts realm chat and moderators it. Server chat is created by players. Usually, players invite their friends to join their Minecraft server and chat. However, some players offer an invitation that allows anyone to join.
Inform children about the dangers that come with talking to someone they don't know online.
Remember that players could also be chatting via discord, or any other chat platform with different security settings. Be sure to remind children not to use other platforms for communication.
Chat features on sites let children talk to those who have similar interests in gaming. However, there's no way of verifying who these people might be. Recommend that young children don't talk with other players through in-game chat unless they know them.
It is also essential that children don't divulge any personal information about themselves, or move their conversations to other online areas that could be private.
YouTube videos on Minecraft
Many Minecraft users love watching fan-made YouTube videos to improve their skills and discover new methods.
Many of these videos are suitable for children. Minecraft doesn't contain any graphic content. Note
i like to think that if Rogal Dorn created a youtube channel about buildings just to espread his knowledge Perturabo would on the same day create his and turn it into a full blown competition, not only on the construction aspect but also on the youtuber aspect and would be constantly frustrated on why Rogal have more subscribers than him, also if the other primarchs made youtube channels, what kind of channel they would make?
Yes
Y E S
I WAS THINKING OF MAKING THIS ONE!!!
The primarch, if youtube had been around.
Leman: You know those tiktok of fedex guys being bff with dogs? This, but it's leman across the galaxy. Just a ton of youtube short of him going "oooHHHH WHO'S A GOOD BOY!!!!" At every single dog he encounter in the imperium.
Jaghatai: travel vlog. Very little narration, mostly just insanely cool vibe and him going "so if you take this road only accessible for 3 months of the year every year you too can go visit this hidden valley with the BEST hot spring on the planet-"
Magnus: video essay channel that make 8 hours narrative docs on shitty random media that you have never even heard of before. Goes way too hard on the overanalyzing. Millions of view.
Horus: a fucking vlogger. One of THOSE youtube influencer. He does a bit of everything and no one can really remember why he's popular now, but he sure is. Is always in some youtube drama or another. Get cancelled at least once a year.
Sanguinius: Arts and craft channel, with super easy and nice tutorial. Very active with the commenters and the community, and seem to be good at everything.
Angron: How to Basic channel. Except it was angron ACTUALLY trying to do the thing and everything else is natural and unscripted.
Alpharius Omegon: prank channel, but they are actually funny. They pull on some SHIT on one another.
Ferrus: "Hello everyone today we are going to create a functioning lightsaber because we aren't pussy and we want to cut things." His things are always pretty functional.
Fulgrim: "Artist react" video and it's him watching like, fucking 5 minutes craft and starting to scream. Has also timelapse of his art, and run a super popular series of video where he try to make his brothers do art. The one where he try to teach Konrad to knit has become viral.
Lion: He walk into the forest. The camera move slowly, in unexplainable pattern. Sometime, it follow sound and end up hiding in the bush filming unsuspecting hiker or just starring at random animals. Lion see ot as his hiking journal. People think this might be a serial killer diary.
Corvus: might be a creepy pasta chanel, might be an ARG, or just an analog horror thing. No one is sure. There's creepy sad original music in each videos. It's actually just the video clip for her musics and she did not realise she might be creating a cult.
Konrad: a urban exploring channel. No narrations, just more or less shaky video with innocent title like "the home on 3rd street". The fact the he straight up break and enter and do parkour give it a very mirror's edges feel to it, and it's actually a youtube challenge to watch his scary af videos without screaming.
Mortarion: very nice niche lil science and biology channel. Does voice over of lil clipart and fix pictures and semi shitty lil doodles to explain hos concepts. It's actually a really fun and easy to understand channel, highly underated.
Roboute: let's play channel but it's only cosy game like Stardew valley or animal crossing or minecraft. Actually mostly talk about his life on top of it, just little vlog that explain stress and ptsd and his anxiety. He has a very loyal following and a lot of vets really relate to what he talk about.
Rogal: an architecture channel, except he like to explain a lot of his concept using Lego. Has become a meme for some of the accidentally saying hilarious shit like "Off colored bricks may work the same, but they deserve the Shame Bucket". Absolutely feral fanbase, and he understand none of it.
Lorgar: religious study channel... And legit helpful. Like yeah ofc he totally believe in what he's talking about, but he also will happily explain the texts, the historical context, translations, interpretations throu history and relevance to other excerpt, etc. If you are going through a religious study class he 100% will help you pass.
Vulkan: a very nice and sweet channel where he explain the basic of how to forge things. All the tutorial and super nicely labeled. Also explain the basic of how to be a farrier for horses and donkey, even if half of those videos is just him petting a blissed out animal and calling them the cutest thing in the galaxy.
Perturabo: tried making a channel similar to Rogal. Failed. Posted one video of him reacting to a shitty reality tv. Instant overnight superstar. Content outrage to the max. Reality tv are BEGGING him to review them and call them trash, they get millions of extra viewer because of him.

Find My Way Home (Back To You)
Alright I wrote a post Eddie Begins episode fic and I really hope you’ll like it :)
Read it on AO3
Eddie sighs and turns around for what might be the tenth time in the past two hours.
He can’t sleep. He can’t sleep without being back there again. He can’t sleep without stopping the nightmares. Not about the war. He’s had his fair share of night terrors about the war, but lately the nightmares have taken another direction. He doesn’t dream of being the target of a thousand snipers anymore. He dreams of that moment. He dreams of being back there again, buried in the ground, thirty feet of wet earth above him, trapped, without any way of getting back to his son, without any way of getting back to his family. It’s suffocating, and Eddie often wakes up soaking wet, his hair sticking to his forehead, his sheet drenched in sweat. Drenched in sweat, and tears. His tears.
He can’t sleep and he tried everything. Every method he can think of. Every method his mother used to teach him when he was scared and alone at night, suffering from insomnia. He tried some breathing exercises his therapist showed him the week before, tried taking a walk around the neighborhood to clear his head and take his mind off things, he tried reading a book and even went through some meditations videos on YouTube that Buck recommended to him a while back. But nothing is working. His mind keeps sending him back to that place. To the well.
Eddie turns around again and lets his eyes fall on his alarm clock as it reads 2:49am. Eddie sighs and presses his hands to his face, apprehending the 24 hours shift waiting for him in the early hours of the morning. Not necessarily because of the fatigue. After all it wouldn’t be the first time Eddie gets through an awfully long shift with the 118 with only a few hours of sleep in his system.
No, he’s only apprehending it because he knows, deep down, that he’s so far from being in the right state of mind to face the difficulties of his job. He feels more restless, more fidgety, less focused than usual. And if there is no doubt in Eddie’s mind that the 118 is going to notice his mood swings. And if they notice, then he’s going to need to explain. Explain the extent of how messed-up he is in the head. Explain how the war still terrorized him sometimes at night. Explain how tight his throat is ever since he’s made it out of that well. And that’s a conversation he’s not ready to face.
Eddie looks up at the ceiling and gropes around in the dark until his right hand finds his phone. He knows scrolling mindlessly the news is only going to keep his brain more awake but he doesn’t find it in him to care anymore. He unlocks his phone and frowns when he notices an unseen message from his sister in his inbox. The message is short, but it catches Eddie’s attention.
“Isn’t he your friend Buck?!”
There is a link just underneath it and when Eddie clicks on it, his breath catches in his throat and his heart starts pounding hard against his chest. It’s a video. A video of that day. A video of the rig, collapsing, and burying him under thirty feet of earth in the process. Only the video doesn’t show only that. It also shows his coworkers’ reaction. It also shows Buck.
Buck
Buck, who collapses on the ground and completely falls to pieces. Buck, who screams his name and starts digging the earth with his bare hands. Buck, who bursts into tears and whose face is contorted with fear, rage and pain. Eddie watches him as he continues calling out his name in agony, he watches him as Bobby needs to physically restrain him to stop him from digging, and Eddie swears he can feel his heart cracked open at the sight.
The scene is devastating, heartbreaking, and the last seconds of the video only shows Buck, sitting on the ground, his head down, tears rolling down his face, as the rain continues pouring down on him.
By the time Eddie finishes watching the video, his hands are shaking and the room is spinning. His whole body is tense, buzzing with a nervous energy and Eddie closes his eyes fiercely but he can’t get the images out of his head. How can he? How can he when he had to sit through and watch his best-friend having a complete breakdown in a video with more than a million views? How can he when until then, he was so far up his own ass not to notice that Buck was hurting too? Not to notice that he wasn't the only one who ended up traumatized by this day?
He sits back straight on his bed, and leans his back against the headboard, running both of his hands through his hair a few times, ignoring how his heart pulses in his head, making it hurt.
He takes his phone in his hand and gets up, stepping out of his room and going down the stairs until he reaches the living-room. Here, he lets himself fall on the couch, rubbing his temples with his fingers, his eyes closed. In vain. It’s no use. It’s no use trying to get his breathing back to normal while the only thing he really wants is to see his best-friend with his own two eyes and make sure he’s okay.
“Can you come over?” He sends. It’s short and vague, but Eddie knows Buck keeps his phone in sound mode at all times just in case this kind of emergencies come up.
But is it an emergency? Eddie asks himself as he brings his knees to his chest, wrapping his arms around them. It’s not. Not really. But Buck’s answer still comes after just a few seconds.
“Be there in 15. You okay? Christopher?”
“We’re okay. Just need to see you.”
Eddie jumps out of the couch and starts pacing back and forth in the living-room, not knowing what to do with himself. He squats down and starts picking up every Lego bricks lying around on the carpet, on the coffee table under the sofa. Christopher was in the middle of building a (more than unstable) house before heading to bed and he seemed so tired from his school day Eddie didn’t have the heart to ask him to tidy. He’s in the middle of retrieving a brick which ended up under the carpet when he hears the distinct sound of someone opening the front door.
He whirls his head around and finds himself face to face with Buck who looks around the living-room in alarm, his eyes wide. His hair is disheveled and his shoes are mismatched and Eddie almost feels bad for waking him up in the middle of the night while they both have a 24 hours shift waiting for them in a few hours. His best-friend’s face softens when his eyes fall on him, and Eddie doesn’t waste any time to close the gap separating them and wrapping his arms around his neck to hold him close.
“Evan Buckley I swear to god you’re going to be the death of me.” He says, not thinking twice before burying his face in the crook of his best-friend’s neck. Buck seems taken aback for a few seconds, but he doesn’t question it and reciprocate the embrace with just as much vigor. “I’m sorry.” Eddie eventually says, grabbing his tee-shirt with his right hand.
“You’re sorry?” Buck repeats, his voiced filled with confusion. “About what?” He adds.
“God I’ve been so far up my own ass these past few days, haven’t I?” Eddie asks, taking a step back and placing a comforting hand on his shoulder, following his gaze until he’s sure Buck looks at him in the eye. His best-friend seems reluctant at first, almost as if he already knows where the conversation is going, but then he finally meets his gaze and Eddie’s look is so intense and he’s watching him with so much attention something in his face just breaks. “Why didn’t you tell me?”
“Tell you what, Eds?” Buck asks, but from the way his voice breaks, Eddie knows it’s just a way for him to try and take the conversation elsewhere.
“Buck.” Eddie says, and it’s a warning. We’re having that conversation whether you like it or not.
“Eddie, just- Don’t, alright?” Buck starts. “It’s okay. You’re okay. It’s all that matters.”
“I saw the video.” Eddie says, taking another step backwards until he sits on a kitchen chair, running his right hand through his hair.
“What video?” Buck says, his voice small, but sighs and looks down when Eddie maintains eye-contact. “Took you long enough.” He only adds, leaning against the fridge. “It was literally everywhere on the news. Big headlines too.” He says, letting out a humorless laugh.
“Buck-”
“But again, I’spose it’s fun to see a firefighter completely losing it after his best-friend has been buried thirty feet underground.” Buck cuts in, his voice hollow. “I guess it ‘entertains’ people just fine”
“Buck-” Eddie starts, but his friend is faster.
“As if I want to relive that moment, you know?” Buck goes on and his voice is louder now, more aggressive. “As if one time wasn’t enough.”
“Buck, I-”
“Eddie, you cut the damn line!” He exclaims and Eddie jumps with surprise at how raw and demanding his tone is. “You cut the damn line!” He repeats and a tear rolls down his left cheek. “And you know what the worst part is? The worst part is that I can’t even blame you for it! You wanted to save that kid… I mean, how can I blame you for wanting to save that kid, Eddie? I can’t. I would be a fucking hypocrite if I did, man. Cause I would have done the same thing if the roles were reversed.”
“It doesn’t mean you can’t be mad.” Eddie says, keeping his eyes down, incapable of meeting his best-friend’s gaze. “It doesn’t mean you can’t be angry.” He adds. “Hell, I know I would be.”
“I just- Eddie, did you ever stop for a second to imagine what it was like for me? I was pulling you out Eds. I was pulling you out and then the weight was just- the weight was just gone. You were gone.” He says through gritted teeth and Eddie darts his eyes towards him for just a second, but that’s still enough time for him to see the expression of complete agony and pure heartbreak on his best-friend’s face. Eddie looks away just as fast and sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose with his fingers.
“But that’s not even the worst part, oh no.” Buck goes on and Eddie knows this one is on a roll. He’s determined and he won’t stop until he got everything off his chest. “ Because then this damn rig just collapsed and I- I couldn’t get you out, I- You were… You were buried, Eds. You were buried and I swear to god I would have dug the whole thing with my bare hands if I had to.”
“I know you would’ve.” Eddie only says, staring at Buck, his eyes filled with the tears he’s been trying to hold back for the past fifteen minutes. “I know you would’ve.”
“I didn’t give up on you.” Buck answers, as if he’s trying to justify his actions in a courtroom. “You’ve got to know that, alright?” He repeats. “I didn’t give up on you. Even when people were trying to convince me that there was no way you would have survived that, I didn’t- I didn’t give up on you.”
“Hey, hey, I know.” Eddie instantly reassures him, getting up and closing the gap between them. “I know.” He repeats, cupping Buck’s cheeks with his hands. “You didn’t give up.”
“I didn’t give up.” Buck nods, his lips quivering.
“Buck, do you think- do you think I’m mad at you because you didn’t try hard enough?” Eddie manages to articulate, his fingers playing with the roots of Buck’s hair. “How could you have tried any harder?” Eddie adds, letting out a nervous laugh. “For Christ’s sake Evan, you told me yourself you were ready to dig the whole thing by hands. There’s nothing you could have done. You hear me?”
Buck frantically nods and Eddie sighs, wrapping his right arm around his neck to pull him forward. Buck’s whole body tenses and it’s only when his shoulders start shaking that Eddie realizes his best-friend is full-on sobbing against him, his tears wetting his white tee-shirt. Buck rests his forehead on his shoulder and Eddie simply runs his left hand through his hair while the other traces small patterns on his back, holding him tight. He presses his lips on his hair, closing his eyes fiercely for a few seconds while throwing his head backwards, looking up at the ceiling.
“I’m sorry.” Buck says against him. “Here I am again, making the whole thing about me while you’re the one who’ve been buried underground.”
“Don’t be stupid Buck, I’m the one who should apologize here. I was so focused on my pain and the nightmares that I-”
“Nightmares?” Buck whirls his head up to meet his eyes. “You have nightmares about the well?” He asks, his eyes full of concern, and Eddie lets out an incredulous laugh.
“Yeah but that’s not the point, Buck.” He says, dismissing his concern with a hand’s gesture. “I should have seen you were hurting. I’m sorry.” He adds. “And yes I have nightmares but Buck you need to know you’re the only reason I got out. You and Christopher? I couldn’t have done it without you guys. Wouldn’t have done it. But I promised myself I’ll always find my way back home. So I did.”
Eddie cradles his chin with his left hand, forcing him to look up.
“That… That was sappy as hell, man.” Buck tries and Eddie snorts, placing his hand on his cheek to make him look away.
“Says the one who was ready to dig thirty feet of wet earth with his bare hands.” He says playfully and then Buck does this thing again where he looks down with a shy smile and Eddie’s heart just melts at the sight.
When Buck lifts his gaze again, their lips are only separated by a few inches of space and Eddie’s head is spinning. He stays there, motionless, not knowing whether he should finally gives in to years of pining and unresolved tension. But then, Buck’s eyes dart towards his lips and all his good sense goes up in smoke. Eddie looks at him for permission and when Buck nods, he places his hand on the back of his neck and presses their lips together. It doesn’t last long. It’s brief, and when Eddie takes a step back, Buck’s lips chase his own a second time and he only smiles and complies happily.
This time, the kiss is more heated and Buck’s hands find their way on the back of Eddie’s neck, biting his lower lip to demand access to his mouth. Eddie smiles against his mouth and runs both of his hands through his hair, bringing him closer. This earns him a small whimper from Buck and Eddie only kisses him harder, pressing his best-friend’s body against the fridge and sliding his hand underneath his tee-shirt.
“God I can’t believe we waited three years to do that.” Buck says Eddie huffs out a laugh against his lips.
“Well I mean you were a bit slow on the uptake.” Eddie teases him.
“Oh fuck off.” Buck taps him on the head playfully. “You know I couldn’t just- I had to be sure.”
“I know.” Eddie says, his voice soft.
“I couldn’t do the first move. I had to wait for… I had to wait for you to do it. Even if I knew that you- because I knew. Of course I knew. But-”
“Hey.” Eddie cuts him off by cupping his cheeks with his hands. “I know.” He repeats. “Alright then Evan. Let’s get you to bed.”
“Lead the way, Edmundo.”
“Not my name.” Eddie says with a smile, taking his hand in his to guide him towards the bedroom.
“Sorry. Eduardo.”
“Still not my name, man."
"Diaz?"
"That's it, you’re sleeping on the damn couch, Buckley.” Eddie warns but the smile on his face betrays him.
“Really? You would make me sleep on the couch? The guy who was ready to dig 30 feet of wet earth with his bare han-”
“Oh my god will you shut up?” Eddie whispers loudly, being careful not to wake up Christopher fast asleep in the adjoining room.
“Make me.” Buck says, a hint of amusement in his voice and Eddie?
Well Eddie wastes no time to crash their lips together another time.

201130 Kai is ready to take on the new decade
Nearly a decade since he was introduced as the first member of Korean band EXO, and a year since the formation of supergroup SuperM, Kai is ready to step into 2021 with his debut solo mini album.
“I think fashion is a way to show your personality,” offers Kai, Esquire Singapore’s December cover star and arguably the most popular member of one of South Korea’s best-selling music groups, EXO. “With clothes you can show who you are—fashion is the simplest and probably the coolest way to express yourself.” While he admits to favouring a more classic style than  the fall/winter runway looks of Gucci , for whom he’s an ambassador, showcased on these pages, in his day-to-day life, he believes that fashion is transformative, and it’s his personal style—“sometimes bold, sometimes more simple”—that has led to his name on the top of international best-dressed lists. “I think it’s important to dress according to your situation, so when I’m standing on stage or taking pictures I really can be bold, like with these looks, and feel good about myself.”
Tumblr media
At 26, Kai has been in the public eye for nearly half of his life,  having been the first EXO member to be formally introduced to the public back in 2011 . And since, there’s been seven studio albums (and four live) and some 52 music videos, though this doesn’t take into account his additional creative output with SuperM, a supergroup in which Kai joins six more talents from three of SM Entertainment’s other male bands—Shinee, NCT 127 and WayV—and with whom he released a studio album this September. “A lot has happened,” says the performer humbly. “It has been a long time and a lot of work—a lot of work indeed—but my heart is in it just as it was at the start. It was fun back at the beginning and still is.”
While the output is significant, Kai’s happiness stems from the fact that, quite simply, and as corny as it may sound, he is doing what he loves and has always done, even as Kim Jong-in, his name by birth. “I’ve loved dancing since I was very young,” he explains. “My father always said that even if it was raining or snowing, or even when I was meant to have days off, I always wanted to dance, and when I was in school my friends recorded videos of me dancing in the street.”
Tumblr media
That doesn’t mean, however, that he’s not impacted by the pressure. “I cry when I’m having a hard time, and lean on my family and friends,” Kai explains. Eking out time for life outside of work has been key to finding mental balance. “I’m almost always with family or friends when I’m not working, and I like spending time alone, too. On days off I still exercise, I still practise singing and dancing, but I also watch TV, build Lego, read books… I like fantasy, mystery and comics. Whenever I go to the airport I’ve got a book in my hand. It’s important to me to have some separation between work and my family life, because if you focus too much on work when you’re not working, it can stress you out and make you come to dislike it. I don’t want that.”
Earlier this week, Kai released his debut (and much-awaited) solo mini album: a project comprising six tracks including the title track 'Mmmh', an R&B pop song with an addictive melody. Having racked up close to 9 million views on YouTube within a day of its release, there’s no denying that he’s entering the new decade with as much momentum that’s seen him propelled to global superstardom. “At the beginning of my career my image was very much that of a boy, but I think it’s time to show a more mature character now,” he offers. “I don’t believe I have had my heyday—I try not to get caught up in that. I am working hard towards the next stage. The goals will always be different, but in the end I’m doing the work that I love and maintaining my best physical and mental health.”

Becoming A Stark (18)- Peter Parker X Stark!femReader
Word Count: 2434
Warning: Swearing
Author Note: Yes, yes I missed Wednesday’s update. To be honest- it completely slipped my mind with classes. I’m going to have to set an alarm to remind me or something lol. Anyway, let me know what you think of probably my favorite chapter of this story and if you want to be added to the tag list.
Chapter One || Previous Chapter || Master List
Tumblr media
“Kid, we have to talk. What have you been thinking?” Tony is pacing around the lab as Peter sits on the stool. He should be working on his physics homework, but Tony needs to talk to him. He’s been fighting on and off with you, he had to rescue Peter from a lake and now the DC stuff. “You could have blown Spidey’s cover so many times in the past weeks plus the alien tech stuff on top of that? You’re supposed to be neighborhood Spider-Man, not running off to DC Spider-Man. What were you thinking?”
“I was thinking that people needed help and I was there.” Peter says, swinging his leg, not looking Tony in the eye.
“Not good enough.” That makes Peter’s head pop up. “I looked up your suit info. Don’t lie to me. Your suit doesn’t even show being in DC after say nine thirty six pm on Friday night which is weird seeing as you were videotaped at the Washington monument on Saturday. So either there’s something off with the suit, or you messed with it?”
“There was, um, some faulty wiring?”
“Nice try. Plus Y/N got pissed at me that I introduced you to Spider-Man first since you were trying to use him as a party trick. And then I had to rescue you from a lake. So either you need to explain what’s going on, or Spider-Man goes back to being a kid in a onesie.”
“Wait you’d take the suit away?”
“I’m trying to figure out where you’re at. None of this seems like the kid that told me he wants to help the little guy.”
“I’m trying to help the little guy, but there is also more I could be doing and you’re not listening. You’re too focused on everything except what I’m telling you. I’m trying to keep the little guy safe from this guy with the wings and you won’t listen. You don’t even seem to care about what I’m actually doing unless it involves Y/N.”
“That’s because she’s my daughter.”
“Who I happen to like a lot and all you care about is keeping her to yourself. You want me to keep a million secrets from her and that’s fine. But you’re making me hurt her and I won’t do it anymore.” Peter snatches his homework off the table and shoves it into his backpack before walking out of the lab. Tony can only watch as the kid walks out of the lab. This conversation went nowhere near where he thought it would go.
And the next few days don’t go any better for Tony. He tries to do what he thinks will help the situation so that Peter doesn’t have to worry about it, but when he has to rescue the entire Staten Island Ferry from being split down the middle, he’s pissed off. So yeah, he takes the kid’s suit. Because he’s worried. And nothing seems to be going through that kid’s thick skull.
Your dad was in a mood when you got home from Betty’s house that afternoon. “Let me guess you weren’t even at Betty’s house studying?”’
“I’ve been at Betty’s since school let out. Happy literally picked me up from there. What’s your problem?” You drop your backpack on the floor.
“My problem is you kids running around like you can do anything in the world and thinking that us adults won’t help you if you just reach out. Instead you have to skirt the rules and make up things. Then we have to come in to save the day all the time.”
“Clearly I have no idea what you’re talking about. But if you’re in a shit mood, quit taking it out on me. Because I was having a relatively good day until now.”
“I was having a relatively good day until your boyfriend messed it up.”
“I don’t have a boyfriend so I have less than zero idea what you’re talking about.”
“Well Parker made his intentions about having feelings for you clear when he stormed out of the lab the other day clear so I thought he would have made a move by now. Then he goes and makes a huge mess that I have to take care of.”
“What are you talking about? There is nothing going on between Peter and I. Honestly if he was having a relationship with any Stark, I would guess it would be you since he spends way more time with you than he does me. But if he did something that you had to fix, that’s on him, not me. So quit taking it out on me.” You grab your backpack and storm up the stairs to your room. Twitter is full of stories about Spider-Man and Iron Man saving the Staten Island Ferry. He goes and makes a huge mess that I have to take care of. Holy Shit. Peter doesn’t know Spider-Man; Peter is Spider-Man.
Grabbing a pair of sunglasses, your wallet, your phone, and your purse, you make your way downstairs. Your dad is still pacing around the living room, mumbling to himself. He doesn’t even look up as the front door beeps, which says something about how far in his head he is. The brownstone is better than the tower at one thing- the paparazzi haven’t swarmed it yet. So you’re actually able to get out of the building without being swarmed like when you leave school. You should call Happy. He at least knows how to get you where you want to go. But you don’t want him to say no or worse tell your dad. So you’ll figure this out.
“FRIDAY, can you pull up directions to Peter Parker’s apartment?”
“Certainly Y/N.”
“FRI, can you not tell my dad where I’m going?”
“He has the ability to override your settings, but unless he does, I will keep your trip a secret.”
“Thanks FRIDAY.” You look at the map on your screen and start walking towards the subway station. It’s been months since you rode the train, but it feels like coming home. You used to ride the E train all the time to go to Betty’s house and school, so this feels like going home. According to the map, Peter lives only four blocks from Nana and Pops’ anyway. It’s going to take some time to get there from where you live now, so right now you plug your headphones in and let your I Hate My Life playlist start playing. Song to Sing When I’m Lonely by John Frusciante plays and you let your head bob back and forth as the train clicks and clacks over the tracks.
You look at the number on your screen one last time before knocking on the door in front of you. “I’m coming.” A voice from the other side calls. A female voice. Not Peter’s voice. “Hi?”
“Hi, is Peter here?”
“Uh, he is. I think he’s in the shower. Who are you?”
“I’m a friend of his. I’m Y/N Stark.” You realize it might be safer to use your old last name, but you’ve gotten so used to saying Stark now, that it’s too late.
“Oh. Peter told me.”
“Told you…?”
“About how he lost the internship. He never mentioned that his friend Y/N was related to your dad though.” Peter lost his internship? That’s news to you.
“My dad is trying to keep it kind of low key.” Not that he did a good job at that.
“Come on in.” The woman motions for you to follow her into the apartment. “I’m May, Peter’s aunt.” You follow her through the kitchen into the living room. “I’d offer you a snack, but I’m not much of a cook.”
“I’m good. My dad is kind of strict about what I’m allowed to eat anyway. No GMOs, all organic, no high fructose corn syrup, all those crazy rules. It’s kind of annoying to be honest.” May looks at the teenager sitting in front of her in a printed graphic tee that reads ‘I like coffee and maybe three people’, a pair of denim shorts and a pair of galaxy high tops. Much more summery than the fall weather that was starting to roll in but a cute outfit nonetheless. Before May can say anything in response, the bathroom door opens and Peter walks out in nothing but a towel.
“I might have used all the hot water, May. Sorry.”
“That’s ok. Your friend stopped by.” Peter looks up to see you, but you can’t help but look at the abs he has somehow managed to hide the entire time you both have been friends.
“Y/N? What-what-what are you doing here?” His hand falls to grasp the towel that's wrapped around his waist.
“Maybe you should put some clothes on before you try to have a full on conversation?” May suggests.
“Clothes. Right.”
“Boys.” May rolls her eyes. “So you go to MSST?” You nod. “Are you as into all the sciences as Peter is?” You shake your head.
“It’s probably the biggest disappointment about being Tony Stark’s kid is that I hate science.” You can’t help but scrunch your nose as you say this.
“Well thank god, because I can’t follow half of what Peter talks about.” May says with a smile.
“That’s how I feel when him and my dad come up from the lab. I never have a clue what they’re talking about. But books, most movies, pop culture, I’m good with that.”
“Well I’m pretty good at following those as well.” May smiles as she talks with you about some of your favorite books, movies you’ve seen recently, and even some news until Peter comes out and steals you. You follow him into a room that has a bunk bed and a ton of tech. It all screams Peter. You don’t know what to say to him, but luckily, Peter starts the conversation.
“I thought your dad would have told you we can’t be friends anymore.” Peter says crossing his arms and kicking some of the legos that Ned had left here across his floor.
“Why ‘cause you lost your internship? When did that happen by the way?”
“Today.” Peter looks at the floor.
“Right when you and him had to save the Staten Ferry right?” Peter’s eyes jump up to look at you.
“What?”
“I feel like an idiot for it taking so long to connect, but you’re Spider-Man. Which makes total sense. I never should have sent the video to my dad in the first place.”
“Wait, your dad found the video because of you?”
“You think my dad knows how to find Youtube videos?” You can’t help but laugh. “He’s good at science and stuff, but Youtube is not his forte. So why didn’t you just tell me? I know like half a dozen if not more other superheroes. Knowing one more, wouldn’t have been that big of a deal.”
“Your dad made me promise not to tell you.”
“Well he seems to have no problem telling me that you have feelings for me, so why is telling me about your alter ego a big deal?” Peter’s face falls, turning red at the same time.
“He what?” You step across the room, reaching out for Peter, but dropping your hand at the last second.
“It’s not a bad thing. It honestly makes me feel so much better about the fact that I may or may not have been feeling quite similarly about you. But I didn’t want to be that girl that had feelings for the guy a year older than her.” You shrug and your hand tugging your hair forward, trying to find something to fidget with. But Peter’s hand comes up to push your hair away from your face.
“So you’re saying that if I told you I like you…” His hand rests on your cheek.
“Then I would say I like you too.”
“God, Y/N, you’re making this awful day a million times better.” And before you know it, Peter’s leaning in to place his lips on yours. Peter’s kissing you- you should be kissing him back. He takes your lack of movement as resistance and starts to lean away from you, but you wrap your arms around his neck and pull him back. You could keep kissing him until you needed air, if your phone wasn’t going off in your back pocket.
“Hold that thought.” You whisper into his lips as you pull out your phone, seeing your dad’s picture. You take a deep breath before picking up the phone. “Yes.”
“Y/N Y/M/N Stark, where the hell are you?” Tony’s voice is harsher than you’ve ever heard it.
“I didn’t even know you knew my middle name.”
“Y/N I’m in no mood for games. Where the hell are you? You didn’t ask me to go anywhere and you didn’t ask Happy to drive you. FRIDAY says you requested I don’t ask where you went so I’m giving you a chance to tell me before I just override the system. Where are you?”
“I had to run an errand.”
“And that is at what location?”
“I had to run to Peter’s.”
“Why?”
“Does it really matter? You apparently fired him, so he’s no longer your intern. He’s just my friend.”
“It matters because you are fourteen and you left the house without telling anyone which you promised you wouldn’t do. Security risk remember? I’m sending Happy to pick you up. So finish your conversation by the time he gets there.”
“Fine.”
“And know you’re grounded.”
“How is that any different than how you already make me live? I’m literally allowed to go to school and come straight home?”
“You went to a party did you not?” And you have to bite your tongue to not spoil where you actually went.
“Ugh whatever.” And you hang up the phone.
“You snuck out to come see me?” Peter asks and you look up at him in confusion. Was your phone that loud? “Spidey Senses. I can hear way more than I’m supposed to.”
“Ah. Yeah, kind of snuck out. It’s not like it was really a secret. My dad could have easily hacked my phone if he wanted to.” You run a hand through your hair before looking up at Peter. “I don’t really want to talk about my dad.”
“Ok.”
“There’s a better way we can waste the ten minutes until Happy gets here.” You smile at him, and Peter’s hands wrap around your waist.

Hello! How are you? 💙💙 I dreamed the boys again 🤣🤣🤣🤣 YAY! ¡
DUDE YOU HAVE NO IDEA! Literally living a historical moment rn! You asked just when it happens, deal with me telling you the whole story while I’m in the hype lmao.
(Also what was your dream about, I need to knooooow! XD )
Context: A few days ago, our president (France) contacted Mc. Fly and Carlito (youtubers) to challenge them.
These guys are doing crazy things okay. Be it:
using guests’ credit card when they lose a game and make them buy a car, a house...,
transforming someone’s house fully in Lego without warning,
one painting his nose as a strawberry and the other his bald head as a watermelon to hide in a store while playing hide and seek,
doing like 100 crazy stuff of this level in one single video...
Am I missing anything? Yes plenty. But I spammed you enough already XD
May I say that I’m proud of our French youtubers, they’re amazing, I love them.
So, our president’s challenge was for Mc. Fly and Carlito to make a video to recall how to protect ourselves from the Coronavirus and to reach 10 millions views.
If they succeed, they’d get to make a video at the Elyseum and an anecdotes contest with the president himself! Basically, each one tells an anecdote about himself, the other has to guess if it’s true or false. The one who guesses right the most wins, the loser has to do something decided by the winner (I’m not sure of the English word, maybe “pledge”? It’s “gage” in French.).
Considering all the crazy things they do, imagine them with the president. Such a time to be alive.
The video was out last Sunday. Since then, us fans keep watching the video on loop (they wisely chose to do a cool song), check how many views they’re at every hour, the whole thing was on the news worldwide, haters are hating (because yanno, politics, even tho Mc. Fly and Carlito didn’t ask for anything and aren’t into politics, the president came to them by himself, I mean, how could you refuse) and we don’t care because too busy having fun and being happy...
Tonight, we were getting really close. Someone made a countdown livestream, Mc. Fly and Carlito made a livestream on Insta too. And...
Story from my Insta
We just reached the 10 millions! 😁
And now I can go sleep, I guess XD
